"It's time to leave..." A sigh would leave the mouth of the older man, his mind crisscrossed with memories and thoughts of the planet his feet stood on. He was aged, his body covered in scars and memories of this wonderful world... Yet, he knew something was up. People were long gone, and very few people were on the planet. Many high powers seemed to appear and disappear from his senses. Something was not right, and he knew he would have to make due with what he had and go along with his original plan. He had been planning this for a long while, noting the loss of his home church, and the lack of its size had it still existed, he'd been planning to get himself somewhere to truly spread the word. How'd he do it? He didn't know. But the first step was finally leaving the Earth behind and soaring through the skies.
Retrieving the beat up and raggedy capsule from his pocket, he'd throw the device into the ground, releasing a rugged and barely functioning space pod he'd been given by a friend of his fathers, he knew it would probably break upon leaving the atmosphere, but he had to take the risk. It was uncomfortable to sit in, having wires poking out and sparking when it activated, but he put in the coordinates he believed to be a suitable planet in free space, a safe distance away from any interlopers, and he'd rocketed off into space at high speeds, ready to show the universe the true light of peace. Space itself was a beautiful sight to see, it's glorious lights shining swaying the priest asleep as he prepared to see the place he was going to populate with as much serenity as possible.
