The wind blew gently through the air. The bird's sang, the grass billowed softly. The sun shone brightly in the green sky. Well, the sun always shone here. This planet seemed to have multiple suns. At least that meant it would always be peaceful looking.
Shiori sat on the edge of a cliff, her arms wrapped around her huddled legs. Her hair swayed as the grass did in the soft breeze. She came up here to be alone. It had taken her quite a bit of effort to get up here, so she didn't think anyone would get up here easily. Then again many people around here seemed to be able to fly. Maybe they would get the idea that she wanted to be alone. Shiori had met at least one nice person since coming here. But she needed time to reflect on everything that had happened to her. She had been through so much hardship in such a short amount of time.
The human girl wondered if she could have fought, she could have made a difference. If she had the power that the other defenders of Earth had, would things have played out differently? There was no way of knowing. All she did know was that she needed to decide on a course of action from here. Should she try and live her life out in peace on this planet? Should she go out and search for other survivors? What would she do once she found more refugees from Earth? Would she help establish a community here? Would they simply try to hide away, or would they train to get stronger? All of these questions ran through Shiori's mind, and this was as good a place to think as any. Hopefully the answers would come to her, once her own feelings had settled down and she could clearly think things through. These weren't decisions a still grieving girl could make rashly without thought.
This was a different region of Namek, that was for certain. There was less brown, less boulders, and no imposing looking citadel in the distance. Here, there was green.. Green.. And more green. It was dreadfully bland, but much prettier in comparison despite that. The Anubian was out in search of company. Someone other than the strange, wolf feature possessing albino girl she had picked up when she left Earth. All they could seem to do was train and pout, and distance themselves from Nebo. Not that she could really complain. The old empress was not suited for nor did she care to tackle the emotional issues and trauma of a girl that would not even give her a thanks for saving her life from a cataclysmic event.
Spotting Shiori conveniently placed atop a cliff came to her as pretty much a beacon. She wasn't one to accept anything as a blessing from the Kai's, and would much sooner stick to her guns on the idea of something actually kind and helpful. Not fearful and corrupt, like the Kai's that saw everything she had worked for undone. The Anubian moved as if she owned the planet, not at all being subtle about making her landing just behind the Earthling girl, arms crossed behind her back, nose turned slightly upwards and her expression stiff. This was as casual as Nebotaki could get when she didn't have some ulterior motive, so any sort of 'looking down on' she might have done in the metaphorical sense was not entirely personal. "You are.. An Earthling, no? You do not have animal ears or a tail, though." She narrowed her eyes, seeing if she could spot these animal features she thought all humans had, maybe hidden under clothes or hair.
For someone who appeared as stuck up, or even full of herself, she was still clueless and unknowing. Enough so that she thought all Earthlings possessed zoanthrope features. At least she was lucky enough that she hadn't met a Saiyan and then accused them of being an Earthling. She was strong, but not enough to handle a pack of butthurt monkey men. "I am trying to learn more of this.. Earth place, so that I might narrow down where I am in relation to another planet."
One becomes too self absorbed to notice their surroundings when they’re busy moping. Such was the case with Shiori. Her head snapped around at the sound of a voice behind her. There stood another strange alien. Although it looked completely different then the others she had seen. Despite how cross she looked, it didn't seem like she had any ill intent. So far anyway.
“Some Earthlings have animalistic features. The majority of the population were like me though. I have little idea as to where I am either. You might as well not waste your time trying to use Earth as a reference point. It's gone now.”
Shiori looked down at the ground, her lip trembling as the memories flashed through her again. She had spent her time running from other species since getting here. She couldn’t get away from this one if they wanted to harm her though. If they had no malicious intent like she did, then she could strike conversation with the being. After everything she had been through, Shiori desperately needed company right now. Even if they were being mildly rude.
