The trip through the plethora of uninhabitable stellar systems and quadrants on the Outer Galactic Rim took the four Lucernian representatives out past a long stretch of stars, planets, and other otherworldly entities. As their first time setting foot off their own planet, all were enthralled by the experience. The crew would have a rather laborious task of describing what they knew of the galaxy's many phenomena. Reciting scientific work that was but a few decades old. This whole idea of outer world travel from their planet was scary and newer than most would consider a more advanced race to be. Fara would see her face more into her ioncomms than anything, but even the paranoid fire mage would like to witness some of the more wonderous parts of the universe. Several meteorites blasted off ship shields, and they got to catch glimpses of two supernovae right next to one another. Very fascinating events, but otherwise, the nearly two days long trip would prove to be a bore to the inexperienced.
"Planet Sadal. And the inhabitants, not dissimilar to our own people. It was our closest neighbor, and it will be our friendliest yet. We've not introduced one's kind to another, have we? Well, Warm welcomes will hopefully take fruit. I cannot imagine they will see a small vessel as threatening. Let us pray to the Mother I am not wrong." The ship would zoom past all of this, only slowing to a crawl once its position was that of just above this green and purple smoggy planet. Vibrant clouds on this one. Readings of life bleep and sprung up in strength as the potential powers of the planet skyrocketed. Whomever these Saiyans were, they were quite strong. It would seem a lot of the populace could tangle with their own Matterian armies. A frightening thought already, considering what they're going through now. They'd set course to go land down gently through the clouds, the ship not making such an effort to conceal its presence as it reaches solid, plain ground. Open plains and rocky plateaus about. It felt like his own kingdom's dominion if it were desolate of the bright, colorful life and energy about it. This would make due for now.
An hour or so in after the touchdown, the crew and retainers had done a lot of the helpful work setting up shop out here. A large, foreign structure had propped up right beside the alien vessel the elemi had struck out in. Nestled between two large rocks, the encampment now was just making final, personal touches. With Luxain poking at the Modular Mansion's customization settings as some of the nameless helpers stuffed construction material into proper order. Claran had just returned from his scouter to shrug and look between the other three. The prince turning now to his presence.
"No movement closer yet, hmm? I am appalled they take their time with aliens. Perhaps they figure us too friendly. Interesting." Viola and Fara had finished giving some small talk to another crewmember before overhearing this, the older woman leaning on a hip and putting her hand to the pommel of her sword. She was right to keep herself armed, even if she looked threatening. To a lot of these other races, being able to fight one another made for more respect. Even if outclassed entirely.
"Right, mi'lord, but I can definitely feel their presence far off. They feel formidible. Perhaps this is more an uninhabited wild than we figured it as." WC: 592 Rutaba
The air would be calm and peaceful for the Saiyan, his foot tapping a bit on his bed in the SDF HQ as he waited for something to do, his scouter beeping a bit with what sounded like something for him to do. He would quickly grab ahold of the item, placing it on his face and listening through to the transmission. It seemed another unidentified vessel had come and landed on the planet. While they didn't seem hostile and there was no cause for concern, his superiors knew how much he preferred to just check up on new people. To either meet them and get a new friend, or to stop an enemy before they grow too big.
With a smile on his face, the Saiyan would fasten his uniform onto his person and strap his sword to his waist. After a few stretches, he would move out of the building and start flying towards the position of the people who had touched down and started to make some sort of encampment on the planet. It didn't take him too much time with his flight speed to reach them, and once he got into range for his ki sense to actually pick up on them, he would find it far easier to just head straight towards them. For a few moments, he would just float in the sky above them, staring at both their ship and their strange structure they placed between the rocks. This certainly didn't look like an invasion of any kind.
Rutaba's hand was placed on the back of his head, rubbing it slowly as he wasn't too sure what to do. But he was determined to meet them at least, so he made his descent till he touched down a fair bit away from the ship and structure, looking around before heading towards the most clustered group of people. As soon as he got to them, he would give a bit of a formal bow. They didn't look too foreign... but their structure was odd, so he didn't want to assume they were Saiyans or anything. Their features really weren't Saiyan, either. "Greetings. I am a Saiyan from the Sadal Defense Force. Don't worry, I'm not here to start anything... it is just good to meet those who come to this planet, I hope you all understand." he would slowly take the scouter off of his head, placing it away and smiling at the newcomers. "It is nice to meet you all, my name is Rutaba. I hope it isn't too much to ask about you all? What are your purposes here?" the Saiyan's voice wasn't really demanding in any way, rather just curious about these new people. They were nothing like he had seen before, as far as he could tell. The Peacekeeper's hands were passively waiting by his side, not taking a hostile action yet as he wanted to see what they were going to do to react to him first of all.[PL: 54,719] [HW: 13,680]
As Claran was busy speaking, this presence of an unknown native crept up on all of them. The man in question blinked and looked away from the prince a moment to squint back towards the skies with a hand to cover his eyes from the light. The older woman sighed and took a meaty grasp of the other retainer's head while he was busy doing this, shoving him to a grovel with a bit of a hiss. Fara and Luxain were too preoccupied with judging how close this incoming power was coming into them for them to care much about the little squabble.
"You were saying?! Pay attention when you scout, boy! What if this were a hostile planet, this thing would have given us no time to prepare!" Claran just nervously chuckled and tried batting the woman's hand of him. it would have probably gone further too if the prince didn't step in and decide to pat them both on the shoulder. The last thing he wanted to look like in front of possible law enforcement was bad. Mostly, he made sure they both stood up straight with their chins up in a simple motion of his hands.
"Please, you two. We have a guest. Or, perhaps it would be more quaint to describe this as an opening ceremony? We're the guests here. They can refuse us on bad behavior." He'd explain to the both of them and take a step ahead of them, seeing the speck of a Saiyan just growing big upon the coming horizon. As Rutaba came gracefully down to view the group, the four of the more important looking people stood huddled around the front to greet them. The workers that moved material to the strange manor seemed to be so preoccupied and figurative that their higher-ups would handle whatever it was that they didn't so much than bat a curious eye towards the conversation every so often.
The structure, in particular, looks like it was a blueprint model, straight from a video game of some sort. The way it worked was rather simple; Designated designs and layouts for the house in question could be controlled and changed with a front panel. The one Luxain was previously on. When decided, the house itself outlines, in a blue haze, positioning, structure, materials, and necessary services like plumbing and electricity needs. Just put the material in place and the thing seemed to mold it into whatever form it needed for the room to function. The design of which looked medieval-fantasy. As did the elemi and their main ship.
"Ahh, it's very understandable Sir Rutaba. I'm more than honored to be welcomed onto your planet in the first place. So hospitable, if a little untimely. I was beginning to fear our presence was to be ignored. Many minutes more, I would have sought counsel myself. A wise enemy would have been one to come from afar with their weaponry, it's so to speak that you have me convinced." There was a noticeable sigh of relief from the small red-head girl that stayed in the back of this important group. Indeed, for all they knew of the alien pplanets they could have not taken the sudden introduction lightly. That was to be explained shortly...
"I'm Luxain, Prince of Lucernia and a proud face of Matteria and its peoples. Beside me are my faithful retainers, Claran, Fara, and Viola. We're here mainly to seek a foreign aid. You see, my lands are in a great peril. Under an unseen siege by an enemy invisible to us. They lay waste to entire armies. Surely you understand my plight quickly. Your planet is our closest neighbour, and remarkabley your people feel strong. I wish to test their mettle and see to it that my planet recieves proper aid." He'd get with the reasoning right away, not going too heavy on the details right yet with so much in the open. And, since the man seemed nothing more than a patrolman, he'd probably only need to hear the gist to understand what he needed. Half of this wasn't even really neccesary for an average saiyan to hear.
Within due time, one of the men from this group that Rutaba met up with began to speak, he seemed to be the frontrunner here, so Rutaba turned to face him directly. He made sure that the other three were in his peripheral vision but still focused on the man speaking nonetheless, his eyes only darting away to look at the redhead as she let out a sigh, before turning back to look at the man before him. At the least, they seemed to be at least comfortable with him arriving, even going as far as to say they were going to go out themselves if they had to wait too much longer. As such, it seemed this was a chance meeting that stopped the group from being too bothered, at least it wouldn't be seen as hostile if they went towards the city.
The Saiyan's eyes slowly scanned the other three once more as Luxain introduced himself and his three retainers, their reason for coming intriguing him greatly, he definitely would need to look into this further if he ever got free reign to go wherever he wanted. However, the last thing that Luxain wished to do was something the Saiyan could do very easily. "I am sure the Defense Force would be happy to give your people proper aid, I for one would love to look into it as well, but I have another off-world mission to attend to as well. So maybe in the very near future." the Saiyan gave a bit of a wince realizing that he was practically saying he wouldn't assist this mans people right away, as much as he wished he could. His eyes raised to meet Luxain's once more as he would roll his shoulders a bit. "If you wish, though, I will provide any immediate aid you need. Be it a bit of training, application to allow your people to stay here for a while if you need refugee aid from whatever is attacking your people, or otherwise. Let it be known I can assist with it." Rutaba's lips curled into a bit of a smile as he would look over the rest of the people again. It was a shame it seemed that only a few people came to the planet to seek aid, they probably could have stayed there for a while with even more people than what had arrived. Nonetheless, he wanted to assist them any way he could for the time he was on Sadal still.
Rutaba waited a few seconds longer before speaking up once more, raising his hand towards Luxain, offering a handshake. "I would like to greet you formally though, Prince Luxain. It is an honor to meet royalty from another planet. I do not know of your people myself, but, knowing they are a close neighbor to Sadal makes me wish to know more." the Saiyan didn't really know what much more to comment on for the group of foreigners, seeking to hear more about whatever it was that they needed before speaking further.
Not the most stellar news the prince would get today. Claran scratched at his chin when the Saiyan went over that he couldn't help in the near future himself. Luxain would take whatever this Defense Force was, in the meantime. Luxain himself mused just a little over the words and wondered if they could even afford to expend training just themselves? Was there some secret techniques and mastery that'd help them? Heck, if just their small troupe were properly trained in such an environment it'd make just a special operative troupe. Not an army, which was currently fighting as they spoke.
"It is perhaps one of the few options we have currently. Whatever alien secrets may be taught, we greatly appreciate. My troops and I are all trained soldiers and guards, so anything to move past that would be very well received indeed. Is this... Defense force capable of dealing with an individual capable of wiping out entire armies? The refugee situation will be checked out, should we need it, but we've more willpower than strength. It will take many weeks for this threat to possibly threaten the entire planet by our estimation." He'd almost casually speak this aloud, because quite frankly everyone present either already knew or needed to know. At the offered hand, Luxain would blink and take it firmly. Surprised that a custom like that went across cultures that never even interacted before. His leathered grip was firm, but he wasn't exactly the strongest individual.
"As I am honored to not just get shown off planet, yet again. There are several reasons why we've may not have met before this. By closest, I mean out of a weeks journey versus the couple days it took to get to you by this galactic cycle. Matteria and it's stellar system are at the rim edge of our galaxy, and we've always had more our fair share of internal conflict that kept us busy. No need to bother ourselves with distant lands. That is until now." The prince would relinquish his grip and move his form to the side. Something set in his gauntlet bleeped and shined several times over, and he had to pay it some mind as it went off. Looking over it, he'd get a small screen to pop up and hover out of his forearm. A weird device that was built into his gauntlet, the form of another well-suited blonde man would show himself and greet with an honorous nod to each and all, including Rutaba who he could see from the angle.
"Good evening here from Maxim Ortus, young prince. I am told you managed to reach Sadal. Good, I'd rather leave it to you then but I have an issue to discuss in private. When you're done conversing, of course." It was not Evening here, but all the same, the prince shifted in his stance to lean on his back leg and gave Rutaba one more quick look before actually speaking up again. To catch the Great-King before he'd have time to shut down comms and wait for the prince to be free.
"Actually, Great-Father, I have a bit of news already. Would our nations require evacuation of any its people in dire need? Sir Rutaba and his fine Defense Force seem not only capable to help in the foreseeable future, but offer its assistance with refugee care." Luxain went ahead with asserting he had basically already gotten the permission, seeing as the Saiyan offered it as a possibility in the first place, and went with it to see what the man had to ay. Catching him like this, the great king sat back in what seemed to be a couch of some make and rub his chin.
"Now that you mention it... That was partly in what I wanted to tell you in private." There was a good deal of silence among the already quiet retainers beside him, the older woman taking a stand up next to her prince and clear her throat. This got his attention quite quickly, and he actually eased up a bit at the sight of her talking upon Luxain's behalf.
"Excuse me greatly, prince.- Candidus, my liege, we are in good company. Is it not too much to tell our newly found ally? It can perhaps convince a more urgent response." Another pause of silence. Luxain just nodded and agreed with that, giving an open palm to the Saiyan, as if to offer him the chance to deny the need to hear this. The Great-King was quick to respond however.
"Tenebrae, most importantly it's Capital of Maxim Noctis, had been sacked. Their Matriarch killed, and princess missing. They are without majority lead and without many homes. Since then, this threat had moved on, setting its eyes on Lympha." [Weighted PL: Off 894/298 Def] WC: 811 TWC: 2,108
The Saiyan gave a sorrowful shrug as the Prince asked if the Defense Force was capable of dealing with someone who could wipe out armies. He had no real gauge to go off of for the time being. He had to know how strong the members of the armies being wiped out here, how they compared to the Defense Force. As far as the Saiyan himself knew, the SDF was the greatest army in the known universe but there was always capabilities for that to be overcome without knowing. "I would like to say that the Defense Force is more than capable. But in all honesty, I'd have to know how strong this individual is. By a scouters readings, someone with a power of four thousand is more than enough to wipe out armies on their own if the members of the army are of a weaker race without access to any power, none of them even able to scratch the person. If it was someone like that, I alone could take them out, let alone the entire defense force. But the stronger the average person in the army is, the more terrifying that Titan must be." the Saiyan honestly was just speaking for the sake of letting them know that, it was a wild card if they would be able to even take on such a person.
Rutaba stared sort of curiously as Luxain actually explained what he meant by closest. It changed everything in that case. "I see... well I am glad you found us rather than space pirates or an unfriendly planet. I'd much rather Sadal be somewhere you can visit over any of those options." he'd give a bit of a nervous chuckle, rubbing the back of his head as he looked to the floor for a moment. This was snapped out of almost immediately, however, as a sound came from the Prince's gauntlet and soon enough, the image of a man would come out of a device. The Saiyan could only really give a polite nod back, not knowing who this man was aside from the fact that they were probably important.
Not really knowing how to respond to the conversation going on at the moment, and not desiring to speak out of line either, the Peacekeeper just sat there and stared at the group as they talked. He wanted to get the relative gist of the situation and it seemed like that would be sort of easy from the two men as they had a bit of a back and forth. It seemed the offering of the refugee aid, while a bit presumptuous on the Saiyan's behalf, was actually a good thing. But then his train of thought would shatter as he was referenced in the talk to what seemed to be the King of these people, seeing as how the Prince held him higher as well. "Oh... I... uh." he was going to quickly say that he didn't require hearing anything, as in actuality he was still sort of lost on what was going on for the group. Anything he did hear was, of course, going to be a big help for knowledge sake, so he certainly didn't complain once the man on the gadget the Prince was using started speaking once more.
Oh, how terrible the words said were though. "My sincere apologies. I know I have no right to hear of your affairs, but what is happening to all of you and your people is horrible. Is there any further way the Defense Force can aid your people? The refugee aid should be easy to settle in, but I want to do more if possible." the Saiyan's face looked a little strained as he heard of this same threat, seemingly a single person, rampaging through and destroying their people. The fact that he was preoccupied with other things irritated him as well, but he knew he would be able to aid them soon enough. His gaze moved over to Luxain now, a small smile on his face as he still could make up for a single thing. "I need a little time to get permission, but I could perhaps train you with some of the techniques from the Sadal Fighting Academy. Though, by the time I get permission, I can also physically help you guys as well with your problem as a mission. You might want to cultivate your own techniques for such a purpose, however, as the Saiyan training is rigorous on the bodies durability. But what I can do right this second, is offer you one of the best ways to progress yourself when in a dire need." he raised his hands up, making a fist with one as he'd make it impact with his other palm.
"You want to test what a Saiyan can do first hand?" he'd give a little bit of a smile as he waited to see if this Prince would like to spar with him in a way, or just flat out train together was fine as well. He would think of one more thing before he gave them the floor to respond to his little challenge. "Oh, if you guys want as well, I can give you the coordinates to another relatively friendly planet. It is where I am going soon for a little while. While I can't help you guys out immediately, if you head there I am sure you could talk to some tuffles about some help. And since I'll be there, I can keep training you guys! Only head over there if you are interested though." he'd give them another smile as he offered this as well. His time with Demalia let him know that she wanted to see the universe be a happier place, surely she would also want to assist this group with their problem? It wasn't too bad of an idea in the long run.
‘Scouter’. The prince only gave a quick glance back at his underlings with the mention of reading strength with devices. Four thousand, what number was that to a prince? Better yet, how’d someone know so easily the abilities of one with a simple thing like that? His people were very keen on sensing each other’s presence and had a very keen sense of overwhelming power, but this was something else. Claran and Viola shrugged, the man on his projected gauntlet eyeing the saiyan with a more mild temperament. He was probably more aware of this than the ill informed here.
“We’re by no means a weak people. Sol above, we’ve had many bickering wars amongst ourselves to deter any weakness spawned from complacency. I’m not in the know as of how you can quantify strength, but I assure you this being isn’t of a god. She CAN be wounded, I’m sure of that. A god wouldn’t have to make constructs to fight alongside them. That’s not to say she can’t just plague a majority of our trained men.” The Prince would be first to at least clear that up, elaborating on why the person was destructive. Aside from just outright blasting the planet up. Candidus was much less willing to let that get into his mind and he reposed himself more calmly. Keeping teal eyes pinned towards the Saiyan who seemed more apologetic than anything.
“Sir Rutaba, was it? Feel at ease, you’ve my personal thanks and permission to hear my words. Otherwise I’d not said them. Honest to Terra, housing of displaced millions isn’t the only thing we could use. As stubborn as we have stayed away from anyone else galactically, the whole system could use alien wares. We’ve many precious items to get ourselves into the Galactic economy, if that’d be of interest to your people here. You speak of the Tuffles as well, I hear they’re even more advanced in that scene. I only represent part of the Sovereignty, but I’m positive we’d like to connect in this way. Luxain. Aid in these agreements and do whatever else you think would help.” Luxain squinted back at what he called his great-Father and just rolled a shoulder with a nod. The others stayed a bit quite once more before the Great-King waved both prince and Rutaba off in another motion. Ready to press for something on his end of the transmission.
“Be off then, I’ve many things to go over further. May Mother grant safety, all of you.” Candidus would say one more time before letting the transmission cut out, the light elemi pushing another small indent on his gauntlet to cut the projection of the ioncomm and letting his arm back down. Free from the prying eyes of his great father, the prince smirked and turned back to face Rutaba head on. Hand on the pommel of his sheathed light sword as he held his chin up.
“Claran, please do see that you and the others grab good seats and theatre foods. As for you, Sir Rutaba, I can already sense a good deal of strength from you. That’s nothing I’m opposed to challenging however. If I were a less regal, more ignorant man I would have tried dealing with this threat on my own head first and possibly gain recognition as Terra’s most stupid. I take up the challenge. A bit ways out from the encampment, maybe atop one of these sprawling plateaus. I’ll think on the Tuffles and however they can be of use as we duel, swordplay gets me thinking proper.” He’d watch as Claran blinked at the prince, thinking him a little mad that he’d probably face someone who felt like he could just bat the Retainer himself away, but rolled his eyes eventually and clasped onto the red head’s shoulder. The older woman would just nod and wait until her liege would zoom off with the intent of a fight.
“We didn’t think to bring Pop-Callus with us, mi’lord, but I’m sure Fara and I can find something to munch. We’ll meet with you momentarily.” The two toned man would smirk and bring Fara, who just shrugged and went with it, away from the group and towards the manor. Without much more to discuss out in the open the prince offered Rutaba a tilt of his head towards a direction back out to the wastes of this planet. Taking but another step to zoom off to the nearest right after.
“Shall we be off then?” It didn’t take but a few seconds to find one just always enough so a stray blast wouldn’t just kill the weaker crewmen or destroy their valuable equipment. The prince and Viola, who followed soon after, had no trouble with the flight and it seemed most the others of his race didn’t really find it difficult in short bursts to do this. Upon touching down on the plain landscape before them, the prince took in a deep breath of air and offered an open hand palm-up by the time the Saiyan came to follow.
"We'll go on your call, good sir. Feel honored by that right."

Rutaba's eyes bounced to each of the people as they looked towards him, they seemed confused. Perhaps such technology wasn't exactly universal and they used other means. It wasn't a big deal, however, it just meant that the Saiyan had to be very careful if he ever approached this mission himself with them later, as he had no way to actually prepare for it to a proper degree. It was at that point that the Prince began to speak up for his people. The Saiyan nodded firmly, before giving them a bit of a soft and sad look. "I understand. And uh, we just have a few trinkets that register someone's power output when they are scanned. It is still good to be cautious when fighting people as they could be suppressing themselves, or they could have tricks up their sleeves. But enough of a gap can lessen the effects of such tricks. It wasn't necessary, but it is just nice to know what you are heading into. These constructs sound very serious though if they add another layer to all of this." one of his hands moved onto his chin to rub at it softly before looking back up to the man on the gauntlet who was talking to everyone.
The rest of what this 'Great-Father' said was actually pretty intriguing. He brought up a relative trade, and with the differing technology of this race, it seemed that their goods being added to the economy would be quite nice. He gave another firm nod, before nodding once more as he brought up the Tuffles, looking to the Prince after this was said to note that he was the one being told this later part. Rutaba wasn't too sure what to do further, so he just gave a polite bow to the man as he waved them off. It seemed their talk with him was over, so Rutaba turned his focus back to Prince Luxain. Seeing the man put his hand on his sword pommel made the Saiyan smirk, as he realized that Luxain man of Culture as well.
The start of what the Prince said next wasn't of too much focus for the Saiyan, his eyes just moving between all of them as the Prince talked about food. But at last, he was being called out on his offer which would make him smile and nod. "Yeah, I prefer not to fight around homes. As well, one of the strongest people I know is a Tuffle, so don't look past them." he said that final bit with a bit of a happy tone, not trying to be rude or condescending and rather just informing the man that it could be a good opportunity for gaining more allies. Rutaba's dark saiyan eyes dropped to the blade that Luxain had on him, setting his hand on his own in kind with a bit of a smirk. "I think this will be very interesting, most people I know opt for using their fists rather than a blade, you'll be the first person for pure swordplay in a long while." with that said and done, the Saiyan just turned to head off with Luxain towards wherever he wished to fight after giving yet another firm nod once he asked if they should be off.
It was time, as the Saiyan set foot on the ground and settled himself in with a firm stare towards the prince who gave him the right to start to fight on his call. It all seemed so formal, and it was very interesting. Especially since this was the first time he actually was given the ability to use his sword without too much worry. The Saiyan's hand went onto the hilt of his blade, slowly pulling it from its sheath and holding it close to his side with both hands. For a few moments, his eyes slowly scanned the Prince as if preparing for a moment. He'd close his eyes immediately after, regulating his ki flow a bit to make sure he was all warmed up for a fight on the inside as well.
As his eyes began to slowly open and look towards the Prince once more with a smile, he'd raise his blade up into a ready stance. "Prince Luxain, I thank you for the honor, and for the duel. We may begin in Three..." the Saiyan's eyes looked sharper as he said this, narrowing them once he said three as if to show that he was getting serious. "Two." his grip on his blade tightened to make sure that he was ready to swing at a moments notice, his feet shuffling into place to push off as well. "One." then, his voice got a lot more firm as his face overall looked more serious rather than the usually happy-go-lucky attitude he carried around elsewhere. "Begin!" he paused for a split second after he said the word, trying to give Luxain enough time to process the start command before he pushed off his feet to launch towards the other swordsman. His blade was poised to strike the man's chest if not interrupted or avoided in some way, but rather harmlessly into the armor more than anything as he was just aiming for a bit of a spar rather than trying to scar the Prince. But of course, there were many ways the Prince could respond to this. It was an interesting little tibit that Rutaba said that would give the prince a wry smile. People didn't have the sophistry to use weapons at their disposal? The idea that the Prince would be the one of very few of this Saiyan's opponents to use one, better yet a sword, was bemusing. He'd watch the man with similarly steady eyes. Drawing this blade out that seemed to almost be made of light. A blinding amount of rays that didn't seem to even phase the man as it was shown. After it settled minimally the blade appeared to be antique, yet pristine in its craft. Still glowing as the star of Vegeta smacked against it's blade. As Rutaba took a stance, he took a more Average stance. Keeping both balance and placement of blade in check for better offfensive and defensive measures. To him, this was every other fight on his home planet.
And to them, THIS was the weird way to do it here.
The prince only had a silent nod as the man started his countdown. Keeping himself readied and well adjusted. The man felt strong, but it was nothing the prince hadn't dealt with before. Or so he'd think just a few moments ago. As the seconds were counted out, this presence of raw power started seeping its way at him. he wouldn't show it, but he was probably in the know that he was gonna be run at like a freight train. Even as it was telegraphed that they were starting he'd see the man wisp blindingly at him. He was already upon him in the instant. Nothing had quite been this fast around his place.
"Hmph!" Though this will mean little for him, he'll have some time to swing his blade back at him. From his stance he just managed to do such a thing, and seeing as both swords suprisingly carried similar momentum and power behind them they'd strike and give glancing blow off to the side. Luxain taking the moment to try and keep the sword pinned and away from him in a sort of struggle. Viola, the older retainer that was watching from the sidelines, blinked at the suddenness and looked back at the mod manor that the others were busy rummaging around in for snacks. How quick was this going to be over was probably what ran her mind.
"Impressive. Try this one though!" He'd shout out with a smirk and his blade would glow a vibrant rainbow of colors before shining bright white and accelerating at an enourmously improved speed. Not only backed by the prince's strength but his ability to create searing beams through his light sword, as he described it. The few slashes he'd try to catch the man by the arms and chest, the sparkling radiance trying to find register on the man's body, at multiple angles, in this attempt to lash back out. Each cut was expert at the very least, and his form of following through from one strike to another was smooth. Being so young looking, one'd probably claim he'd mastered some ppart of the blade from the womb.

Every single movement was stunning and incredible to be apart of, as the two swordsmen's blades would clash against one another with hardly a difference in their raw strength. Where it seemed the Prince lacked in speed, he made up for in raw power that could put the Saiyan on his toes as he realized this wouldn't be an easy fight. Nonetheless, his opponent wasn't someone he would be bored with. That was when his blood started pumping, a smile spreading across his face as he realized he was in another battle that could get his senses sated. "It seems my expectations were far exceeded when we went into this. You have my respect Prince Luxain." Rutaba's sword struggled against the Prince's blindingly bright blade, the two staying locked together for a short time.
Soon enough, his opponent's blade would start to set off a light show that caused Rutaba to close one eye and use another hand to shield his vision a little bit. The power behind his next set blows was incredible, but the speed put into them was something the Saiyan could contend with fairly easily. Due to not having to worry about that aspect, he'd pull his blade back, deciding that a raw power approach would be the best course of action against the prince in this state. But even then, the Prince's form was stylish and professional, something the Saiyan had no real chance to taste in a long time, it made his blood boil further than before.
In another instant, Rutaba's blade flung itself towards Luxain, aiming to catch his blade in the middle of his flurry to push back the raw power against him. They remained in this clash for a short while as the Saiyan pushed against him, trying to find register into his armor once more. It seemed the two were at a standstill now of very powerful blades, if the two of them tried to struggle any further than this it was most likely going to start cleaving into the mountainside itself. "Your swordsmanship is quite astounding, Prince. I wish to see more of it so give me all you've got, alright?" Rutaba let out a hearty chuckle as he smiled at the Prince on the other side of the fierce clash that resonated between them. The fiery passion that burned within the Saiyan's eyes showed that he was enjoying this a lot, and that a lot had changed about him from when he acted so casual earlier. It seemed he wasn't planning on letting either of them actually win this fight in a timely fashion!Stamina:3/3 Stamina Offensive/Defensive PL: [54,719 Base] - [13,680 Weighted] Transformations Used: Techniques: (Stamina Action) [SOT-1] Razor Strike: With a slash of his sword, his hand, or anything he can really get his hands on, Rutaba makes a powerful attack to try and slash through his opponent. The lucernian prince stepped back with the blows a bit, just trying to first compensate for the sheer speed this man had over him. He'd not been able to go on the offensive, whic was honestly where he needed to be as an elemi. And it was good that this guy wasn't going to make this a duel of grunts and silence. The first words to be spoken were those of expectations. Respect is the first thing he'd have asked for out of others, not something earned in inventuality. It was a sort of sting to his ego, and he'd just buck up and catch their blades together in a small clash to keep him from swinging the moment he'd start talking back.
"Respect is the least I expect from you after this. Your expectations were skewered from the start!" So he wanted to see more, huh? The prince's eyes glowed a bright white, his teeth shining and he'd step forward again. Instead of just initiating with a new set of attacks, he'd press on with his own attack more! Pouring more of that blinding light into his sword, he'd swirl it and deliver some quick, presice strikes to the man. Hoping to pressure him back a few steps. Some of these large slashes of white light bounced and rebounded off their clashing blade and hit the dirt. Rustling the terrain just a bit. It wasn't anything stupid powerful yet.
"Your skill and prowess is impressive, but you've not yet seen all my homeland has to offer." He'd smirk and keep trying to bat the saiyan with his sword. It was here now that the watching Viola would see the other two retainers come behind the action and take a stand near its edge. Watching, and eating what seemed like toaster strudels in shape. Gawking mostly at the fight, they'd not expect someone from a defense force, just one, able to contend with their liege. With this feeling of them behind his back, he'd have to put up even more a face in front of this man.
"In fact, this is merely a fraction of my power! So please, You give ME all you've got! I have need to get worked up for me to show it!" And though Luxain turned the tides a bit further in his favor for the moment, the two would probably be in this swordplay further if they'd keep flourishing their swords against one another like this. They were a match step for step in the close quarters like this.

The Saiyan's eyes widened a bit as the Prince decided to press on the attack rather than splitting off to try another tactic. It was a smart move, but the Saiyan wanted to let it pay off a little bit as he decided to succumb to the attacks overall. He was inevitably pushed backward by the blade slashes as they started to pierce into his body, causing him to wince a lot as he'd take a leap backward after the attack was done. "Heh... heh... its been a long time since I've sparred someone so seriously, to actually be able to take a hit like that. But I won't back down now!" Rutaba's white ki aura flared up intensely around his body as he roared out loudly, the ki in his body molding itself into the healing technique that he called aid protocol. Due to the ki inside of his body not actually having to move into another person, it just started moving through his own body to repair his wounds before the Prince's eyes.
Once his wounds were fully mended, the Saiyan's eyes dropped to stare at Luxain once more with a determined look to his eyes as the Prince spoke. "A fraction of your power? Intriguing. I could say the same. I'll make sure to work you up good with this." at last, the Saiyan's arms crossed over his chest as his eyes closed slowly. He looked like he was intensely focusing on something else, all the while his ki aura flared around him in flickers of yellow here and there. At last, a cloud of dust would shoot out around him as his aura expanded and covered him in a veil of yellow energy, his dark black hair and eyes peering through the bright aura with a firm and focused look.
"This is the culmination of my pride as a Saiyan Warrior. It is what you could call my full power." with his focus still set on the Prince, he rushed forward with his now heightened speed, trying to show the prince the increase in his power through small feats for the immediate time being if he had no way to tell his true Power Level. Upon arriving close to the Prince, the Saiyan moved his blade in an upwards arc to try and slash along the Prince's chest a single time, while still focusing on trying to connect with his sword so they could clash a little. For the time being, the Saiyan seemed to be trying to put immense pressure on the Prince, perhaps being far too interested in the supposed power he had in store.
"You won't be able to win this battle as you are, Prince! You have to show me every last ounce your people have to offer!" of course, the Saiyan didn't know how other cultures were. For all he knew, taking pride in ones race as a whole was just a natural thing that all people had. But it was far different for a Saiyan. For a Saiyan, their pride in their race was an unshakeable bond that could shatter mountains.
Whether or not his slash had followed through to even hurt the Prince, Rutaba leaped backwards once more with a firm look still taking up the visuals of his face as he raised his sword to point at the Prince. "You wanted everything I have, right? I hope you won't regret it!" the way he spoke like this, wasn't how he really was, but knowing that the Prince had to get worked up to actually let out his power meant that he had to pile on every little be he could get to make this a fight to remember. Perhaps it could even seal the deal that he and his people would be an asset in whatever it was Luxain's race needed. Luxain was going to get impressed with himself at first when the Saiyan took the blows he pressed on him. There was a bit of reluctance to assure himself that feeling soon after though. The saiyan was a good deal faster than him and probably stronger. Was he slipping up? Rutaba didn't look to be an amateur. He was congratulated for marking him with a few cuts. After the man had stepped from his blows and gave this aura of his a good warm up what he saw before him was rather astonishing. Could he HEAL himself? To Luxain, this was a job purposed to those life elemi who made it their life's work. Not only that, it seemed that he was able to fully close those wounds. Rather quickly. It was not an ability he expected the defender to have, and one he'd have to look out for later.
"Correct, only a fraction! healing away my wounds will only delay their impact, I ensure you I'm far from defeated with that simple trick-" But then the yellow. That clear aura that surrounded the man prior as he heald was starting to quickly shift in color. Not only that, his shift in color was really impressive in context to the power it seemed to correlate with. The ground seemed to tremble under the prince's feet as the man in armor-clad froze for just a moment to watch this. He HAD to have been contending with Blita in the range of power now! Interesting too, this man seemed to have a focused control over this form of his.
"Ha... Haha... HAHAHA! I was wrong!-" Luxain would start laughing and give a smarmy look over the man again as he came forward at the prince with a blinding fast strike to his chest. There was absolutely no way the man should be able to block with his own deft sword. Before he could finish his sentence he'd be forced into shifting. Yes, Luxain's form shifted to the sunny rays of their planet's starlight and moved across the plateau in a near instant as a ray of light. Passing through the Saiyan warrior and his blow unharmed and appearing just behind him with his own swing. Indeed, it didn't have the power or speed of the other warrior but it was the surprise and use of his innate nature that would hopefully throw him off. Hit or miss, clash or whatever he'd try backing up as quick as he could and exhale another laugh and sigh.
"I was wrong to think we were much different! But you can control your essence!? Your fury!? Color me every shade of impressed! You think I've yet need reason to show off though? You're powerful, but you've still only managed to give me a workout!" His form would return to normal after the second quick exchange in melee range and he'd appear standing, sword in hand and readied stance once again. As Rutaba was doing a good job getting him worked up, his blood pumping, he'd seem glimmers of light and rays of sun start to bounce off the man's form. Like a glistening holy warrior, even the tiniest sweat drops seemed to sparkle from this supposed innate nature he possessed. He was just about there, a good blow would dent his ego enough to provoke him. Meanwhile, the other elemi were on the edges of their seats. Claran mostly watching and taking notes with the sense of intrigue while the younger and eldest ones sat and watch in a bit of an anxiety ridden pace. Mostly hoping their liege wasn't just about to end up hurt too much.
"My people and their very souls, given to us my Mother Terra and strengthened with the warmth of Father Sol, grant us a similarly extraordinary gift. For when we put our very nature and emotion into something, we ascend! In anger, in misery, in the best glorious happiness, we gain might. So, Rutaba, forgive me if we cause a little damage to your planet's wonderful landscape! Threaten me if you must, what good is a prince or king to their people if he cannot take a call to this sort of exhilirating challenge!?" He'd offer this is a roar, absolutely enjoying the sudden increase in strength offered by the Saiyan. Standing his ground in the face of a man who could very well be his superior in every way severalfold. This was almost more of a fight for his ego and valor as an elemi more than a typical get-well spar. He wanted so desperately to appear strong and capable to an alien who not only accepted him but was devoted to these same ideas.

Rutaba couldn't help but smile slightly as the Prince told him that he was far from defeated. That was a good thing, as the Saiyan was going to be quite disappointed if that was all he had to do to put the Prince down. "I wouldn't have it any other way, Prince Luxain." his grip around his blade only tightened as the Prince started to laugh, causing the saiyan to stare at him with a bit of a curious look before they had engaged and the man shifted away. "Huh!?" was all the Peacekeeper could say out as such a bizarre change in the man's image had been made with the sunlight covering his escape causing him to appear as a ray of light itself. Or perhaps that was what he really was. Light.
The Saiyan looked utterly confused as the same ray of light shifted through his body, almost like he was intangible at that point. "What is... this!?" the Saiyan had never seen something quite like this before, but it was a very powerful form of escape it seemed. He was taken by surprise at this point as the Prince's blade found its mark across his back causing him to wince in slight pain. But the power between the two of them made this pain trivial, something the Saiyan could only wince at for a moment before turning to face his opponent once more. It was the Prince's time to talk now, where Rutaba immediately got back into a ready position while listening to his words. It seemed that whatever this man and his people's race was, they could also fuel their power with a bit of fury and rage. It was normal for races to be fueled with raw power over such things, but this was the first time since his own race that Rutaba had heard of a race that brought out their true potential over it. "Yes, my people use it as the source for every bit of ourselves. But don't think it so simple. This power is my limits being pushed when I focus on the pride of my race. Rage, when applied to my race, is... more of a tool that blinds me than anything too helpful like power." he'd turn and stare at the peanut gallery for a moment, trying to make sure his attack wouldn't cause collateral damage to them as he thought over what exactly he should do next to push the Prince to his limit.
It seemed the more the Prince talked, however, the more his race did seem like one build on the power of anger to bring themselves out entirely. Just how powerful could he get with such feelings? The Saiyan wanted to see it for himself. "Battlegrounds like this are meant to be roughed up a little, so go right ahead. Other Saiyans will see it as a good spot to train where others have as well." his lips curled into a smile once more as his opponent let out an incredible roar that could almost shake the Saiyan off of his feet if he wasn't brimming with steely determination. "So you wish to be given more than a workout, huh? I didn't want to do this just yet, but it looks like I have no choice." as soon as he spoke his last word, the Saiyan pushed off of his feet to launch at the Prince once more. Even if he wasn't able to hit him with this deciding blow just like the last time, it'd wear his opponent down inch by inch.
With another fierce swipe, Rutaba slashed at Luxain's chest trying to cut into him and push him backward. Using the momentum of the slash as he arrived at his destination, regardless of what had been done to counteract or take the move, the Peacekeeper would do a few summersaults through the air back to where he was before as his arms stretched out. "Don't say I didn't warn you when I said you wouldn't win as you are! You're far too slow to dodge.... blocking this would be a death sentence! WHAT WILL YOU DO, PRINCE!?" Rutaba roared back to meet the Prince's challenge, his two arms out by his side surging with raw yellow energy from his aura. Every ounce of energy poured into this attack seemed to be emanating from his heightened transformation's power. The yellow energy here was also far more intense than what his aura had to offer, emanating brightly through his cloudy aura as he stared the prince down.
"If you don't power up now, you won't make it passed this stage of the fight. Now or never!" the moment he spoke his peace of mind, the Saiyan's hands would slam together in front of him. The energy stored in each started to form together as a torrent of spiraling yellow ki fired itself towards Luxain. It was obviously going to collide with him head-on. "Burst Wave, fire!" perhaps from its looks, as well as its name, why exactly the Prince would be unable to block it would remain unclear. This all changed the moment it actually stared him in the eyes, as the ki would burst apart and try to surround the man from all angles. Even if he raised his blade to stop it, the energy would get around his defenses and assault him. The one thing he could really do in this situation aside from dodge it was to attack with his own techniques. That, or face defeat. Luxain had to do a double check over the few first words the defense patrolman had to offer on this race's yellow aura and ability to pump their fury to new heights. It didn't seem to him that he was blinded. Was his own experience with his own people just that much worse off? That seemed like an irregular thought to have, so he straightened up out of it and glossed over this detail for now. What mattered now is that the Saiyan didn't seem to mind upping the ante. Which was great, he'd prepare himself for the time this yellow aura'd warrior would launch at him blisteringly quick again. Standing his ground, the last bout of light show tiring him some, he'd have to take this one like a prince. Straight on!
It was clear from the blow that he wasn't much able now to stand with this man in terms of power. He'd bring his sword and try to slash back at the man as he came in, only to meet a deft blade that not only pushed his wholly aside but cut through his armor and gave the man a great gash across the chest. It wasn't anything to be panicking over, but the prince hissed a bit and stepped on back from the blow. With a bit of silence coming from the crowd of three to the sidelines watching, they'd appear very uncomfortable watching their prince get a very decisive blow over him. He shook only temporarily though, the light elemi took his stance back up again and gave a grimacing smirk. The Saiyan even had enough grandiose and time to perform some tricks in the air.
"How quaint! It's a good thing I avoided that first one, that's some nice arm work and power behind these blows. It'll take more than that to keep down an elemi, however." His race, a strange roll of the tongue of his words, was spoken finally. And even with his bolstered ego, his body wasn't gonna take many more of those hits. A small outcry from the redhead girl pierced the two's show clashes and words to speak her own mind. This talk of larger powers and death sentences had her a good deal more worried than anything.
"My Lord!? It was a deft blow, he's won the contest! Please!" Something which would fall on deaf ears as Luxain just gave a shaking head to the notion. Whatever this yellow blast he was readying was, he'd be prepared for it. It seemed that he, too, in his free hand was forming some great ball of light. Ready to pit the two blasts together on the drop of a hat.
"A perceptive one! That's why I'll deal with it head on! This gift of light, my true essence! Have at thee!" He'd proclaim as this yellow blast got sent just at him. It was perhaps overconfidence and miscalculation that led to him realizing that this thing was far too strong and quick at the last moment. He'd attempt to bring up his hand to launch a counter-attack but the blast met his chest and body too quickly for that to matter. A large cloud of smoke seemed to billow as debris and dust were thrown up from the ground at impact. Not another sound other than that. No sparkle, no light. It was as if he vanished at that very moment. And for the brief few seconds, the two woman gasped and started to take a stand from their seats. Claran was a bit more stunned and stayed seated with blinking wide eyes. Had they just witnessed their prince's death?
"Prince!? Luxain!?" The older one would yell out the second before the bright rays of light started to pierce through the veil of this dust cloud. A few poking through here and there at first, but soon after it's beginning to overpower the blast's damage and shine past it. Dispelling it with one last brilliant flash of light. Whatever power Luxain had left in him shot up drastically as the smoke would be quick to dissipate around his new form. he was absolutely shining, glowing. A radiance that was wholly unnatural on even the shiniest of surfaces. Beams of light shot off around him as that stalwart smile of his that he grimaced earlier stayed put. He was scuffed up, but still very much standing. Too proud to be put down like that.
Enrage [x3]!
"I'm quite excited that you actually threatened me like that! Nothing more exhilarating than your own light flashing before your eyes!" The man took his stance once again, deciding now to slap the last remnants of the dust away with a swing of his sword as he sheathed it. Bringing his arms up front to collect the very light around him in a dazzling display. His sparkling hands holding in them orbs of light that steadily gained power the longer he'd hold his position here. The ones who stood prior were about to run in to help just before this, so they froze in place. Still away enough to not interfere with the two boys and their battle, but they were a good deal closer.
"I still sense it though... your strength. You're the most powerful I've met outside my own kind! Brilliant, I'll have so much more work ahead of me to achieve anything! Join me in one last blast of glory! One that'll level this plateau!" He offered in a proud roar. Like he had mentioned before, this fury and emotion were not that of rage like many whom might fall under this category. No, his sheer excitement and pride were what made his lights shine now. And he had armies of men who were like this, trained to keep themselves in check both physically and mentally. Though the prince himself was one of the stronger ones, even he hadn't learned how to control himself in this manner. That much was apparent in part of this raving he was currently doing, being dramatic as all get out. Yet, his offer seemed genuine as ever; He wanted their powers to collide into the most beautiful array ever imagined in the galaxy.
