Tau was flying through the air this fine lovely day. She wanted to get away from home for once to find some new people to meet... Being around the plains all the time kinda gets old after awhile. She was eager to get out of the house and all because staying there alone for so long can get quite boring after awhile... Luckily, she had recently met a new friend from space named Ashenya! A little cute elemi she thought... Though she doesn't quite know how to be social! Tau would rub her chin by that thought, 'Hmmm... I hope I can be really good friends with Ashe! She looks to be so lonely all the time I could tell... I'll be able to get her to socialize eventually! Buuuut~..' she paused herself there to look out at the outlands below her. A rather dry and humid place to say.
She's been told there's occasionally some people that come around here which would awesome for her to meet some new friends! She was tired of simply laying around the house all day or train outside of it just to keep her days going... She was young! She needed to get out more and explore! Well, today was finally that day. Ashenya kinda made her realize that there's a big world out there on Sadal that needed to be explored. Saiyans, aliens, all people of the world! She needed to figure out where the people are at! She felt kinda bad because she left Ashe to stay home and get some rest... She did need it though! She was freakin' going through space and stuff! The little elemi needed her rest! So, Tau being the kind hybrid she was... Gave her the house to herself for the day.
She would trust things would be fine when she returned. Landing slowly on the ground, she would scan her surroundings! And what did she get that was so awesome...? Nothing! It was dead, hot, and humid as hell out here. "This is the perfect place to find someone! Surely, I can find someone around here!" A bright smile on Tau's face as she began to walk around for a stranger to meet. The hybrid's forehead began to beat sweat as she happily began her search for a stranger to meet! It was quite strange though how Tau didn't seem bothered by all this heat. She was pretty tough dealing with it in all fairness.
The hybrid would search around for awhile... Finding absolutely no one around... It was... dead out here. She sighed lightly and sat down on a rock with all the heat beating down at her. Maybe coming here for friends wasn't the best place... No one actually seemed to be around here... 'Dang it... I'm starting to wonder if I was told a joke or a lie....' wiping her sweat off. She would look up to the skies to see that beautiful blue... Everything has a purpose... Was coming here one?
Ashe couldn't even put to words what sort of otherworldly force compelled her to.. For lack of better terms, be clingy. She didn't think she was being clingy, but then, she wasn't sure what to think. As far as she knew her best guess was some impulsive action urging her to follow Tau. One so strong that apparently not even an environment her element hated would let her be deterred. It was no surprise that Tau had not caught her following along with her, though. With the advantages of her element and a strong determination to avoid the bright, hot sun as if it were the light Elemi ruler them self, she basically hopped from shadow to shadow. One might think it similar to how a nature Elemi may move from tree to tree. Ashe was moving from shadow to shadow, in this case. Almost undetected say for her small energy signature. Good thing there were a lot of rocks around to let her do this.
She still felt quite sore from her pod crashing into Sadal.. But she was an impressively fast healer, do it wasn't all that bad. Her meeting with Tau had gone.. strangely, to say the least. She had never experienced such friendliness being directed at herself. She owed the bright and bubbly halfling her thanks, so couldn't have been as cold as normal. Social interaction was something she still was no huge fan of, but this girl somehow made it seem somehow appealing. Maybe that was why Ashe followed? Perhaps some latent desire for contact with another humanoid.. Nah. She had been happier and much better off for the last three and nearly a half a decade secluding herself from others, what could possibly be the reason for a sudden change? It felt like a question that not even a book could answer, and that bothered her immensely, though she may not so easily portray such emotions.
When it seemed like Tau had finally stopped moving around so much, she practically came crawling out of the shadow of a nearby large rock. "Unf.. Too fast." She complained with a huff. Already the mix of sun and heat were getting to her. Being in an environment in which she had the elemental disadvantage sucked so much. "Do you wanna explain why you came out into the middle of nowhere?" Ashe hovered some inches off the ground, lounging in the air to keep her bare feet off the hot sand. Tau would likely be startled by her sudden presence, but hey, it wasn't like Ashe had wanted to scare her on purpose.
The android couldn't put into words how these consistent lonely patrols made him feel. He was not made to react to them in such a way and as such complaining would be wrong. But still, he sort of wished there was more to do than just watch the landscape roll by as nothing happened. Talk of incidents sometimes came up, butBanza was never there for them, and once they were concluded they were no longer relevant. Regardless of that aspect, he still had to follow through on his duties without too much second thought. He was a tool of the SDF meant to keep the peace during the absence of their people after all.
That seemed to change pretty quickly, however, as he started to patrol the outlands to make sure there were no bandits setting up in the more unsavory places. His outer body was more attuned for such thing than most mortals, so he found it quite fine. Sensor sweeps constantly poured out over the soil as he moved, trying to make sure he didn't miss anything obvious. That was when he picked up two powers relatively nearby. He supposed he had to check it out, everything else was dry and barren out here with not another soul in sight. The android needed to work with the tools that he was given after all.
His energy started to rev up within his body as he lifted off of the ground, floating into the air and flying off towards the two people that he could feel in the distance. This didn't take him too long, till he was hovering relatively close to their location where he'd set himself on the ground, walking to them for the rest of his journey to their location. Upon arrival they... didn't seem like too much to be worried about? Just two girls out in the middle of nowhere. "My apologies for the interruption, what are the two of you doing out here? This isn't anywhere to be in the middle of a burning hot day like this." he spoke in a flat tone, almost like he didn't actually have any investment in asking this question. That wasn't the case, however, as he was just sort of awkward when it came to socializing with others in this way. Perhaps it was in part due to his android design, but even other androids felt at least a bit more natural than he did. Perhaps it was just a fault by him, or it was just who he was.
"If you want I could escort you to a city?" he would point off in a general direction where he came from, mostly where the SDF HQ was located but that was just what he knew as a return point. Perhaps it wasn't his duty on patrol to assist random people he met, but his route didn't have anything else on it. perhaps he was just reading the mood wrong though. There was a damn good reason his homeland wasn't a barren waste like this. Fuck, the sun was nice, but the heat gave him some rather vivid reminders of his trips into Ardor to visit some distant cousin of his. Being warm was one thing, blistering heat that scorched earth was another. It was nearing the end of Luxain own survey of the land, and alongside his retainers who split off into different directions, they'd just about circumnavigated this expansive world. Having come across plenty of others in his hours-long trek.
"By the Father Sol's smoldering crotch, it's hot out here. I've got to remind myself to not go to Ardor or any other of these hellish landscapes without someone smothering me in ice." Without the presence of anyone else around, he was a bit more loose with his words, talking to himself as he flew overhead in a near streak of light. Speaking of, he hadn't really sensed anyone in a while out here. He had heard vaguely of these and their place as possible training grounds for the natives. Makes sense that with how large it is though he'd probably not run into any of those. At that very moment in though, however, he'd squint and feel some presence off to the side. Catching just barely in his vicinity as he passed by higher plateaus around these drought-filled ruins. They seemed a good deal weaker compared to the others he had bumped into on his way here. He'd usually not bother with these few passing lower beings like this, but this far away from anyone else? Color him interested. He'd split off 90 degrees towards their direction.
Coming up rather quickly on the duo as Ashenya had stepped on out into the sunlight. Darting like a ray of light before stopping himself a good deal up above them with his arms crossed. Looking first at the area they inhabited, then them. They didn't look particularly saiyan, but neither did Rutaba. In fact, the two races didn't have too many members that stood out against one another, funny enough. That was perhaps a different story in another Universe, but here, in this reality? Nah, he'd best assume these were natives for the time. He hadn't seen anything pointing him elsewhere. That third person, he hadn't read however before coming here. And still can't. He hadn't heard of suppression this great. An anomaly. Only constructs didn't give off a presence.
"Hail! Are you two training out here? I do say, the endurance required to stay out in blistering heat, as good as the sun feels, must be rather effective exercise. Hopefully, I'm not interupting anything, I came to merely drop by. You're the closest living I've sensed out here the past few Terrans." He'd introduce a bit and glide on down gently as he spoke, touching down with his hair and armor glistening in the light towards the two of them. A few of the words were foreign to one, but perhaps picked up by another. It's probably easy enough to decipher Terrans roughly as kilometers or something similar in range. The man among them was a bit off to his own side, begging the question. This former was directed at the women, but him? He'd seem to have come out for a similar reason. Checking on these two.
"Seems I've come in at mostly unfortunate times. We are crowding you both. Sir, you're affiliated with the SDF, correct? Some form of construct?" He wasn't stepping close to them just yet, but he held up a wide smile and looked between them after the fact expectantly. Waiting to see if they'd inquire more about him.
Well... This sure didn't take very long! As the Light Maiden took a seat on her chair, exhaling her breath... A familiar figure arrives! "Ashe..?!" Tau looked very surprised to see the little elemi out here and... how?! She quickly stood up and walked over to the little one. "The biggest question I have for you is why you're out here...? You're still hurt and need a lot of rest!" looking so concerned at Ashe. She gave her a soft glare at first which then resorted her to smiling once more.. 'She probably didn't wanna be home alone...' thinking to herself as she gives the smaller elemi a soft pat.. "I came out here to find some friends... You've made me realize yesterday that there's a bigger world to explore out here... I was generally told that finding people out here would be easy but I'm guessing that was all just a bunch of lies.." sweat dripping off her chin. Tau felt a little sadden but she would still keep that damn smile on.
"Let's go-" and then she stopped. A new stranger arrives! It completely caught her off guard actually because she didn't sense him... Tau gasped in excitement! "Finally! Another person! This has become so much more exciting!" Tau yelled in excitement! She would jump forward towards Banza and give him the friendliest smile he's probably ever seen! "My name's Tau! It's so nice to meet you, mister!" she said. Though it may have creeped him out a little. The sweat kept dripping off her, "Y-You see! I was trying to find some people out here to meet! I haven't seen anyone for three years until I met Ashe here yesterday and it's sparked my curiosity. It's so nice to finally meet more people!" Tau feeling more and more excited. She wouldn't be sure to shake his hand... She didn't want to scare him off! Still, she lightly took a few steps back towards Ashe, "Sorry... It's just so overwhelming for me! I'm so happy to finally come across others!"
However, this wasn't all over yet... Yet another fellow arrives which sparked her smile to grow wider. This fellow... looked similar to her in regards of armor and glory! Tau would gasp again, looking to Ashe in pure excitement. "Ashe! Assshhheee! Look! LOOK! He looks... awesome! Doesn't he?!" Yes, the girl was certainly a bit odd but having not seen so many people in such a long time can get her sparked up! Tau would approach the new stranger, "No, no.. You interrupt but nothing. I came out here first to find life and surely you three have come! Hot as it is... But I am used to this heat!" smiling still regardless of the downpour of sweat beating off her.
The Maiden did wear some long clothes and armor which didn't really help... Though for her to handle this heat like this was probably an impressive feat. However, the woman would sigh and finally speak in some common sense.. "Come then.... Maybe we should settle in the shade.. As for going to the city, perhaps in a bit... I'm not really too sure how I'd handle the city in all fairness..." she spoke as she started to move close by an earth foundation with cover. She'd slightly adjust her wet sweat clothes as she spoke towards the Light Elemi, "My apologies but in case you didn't know... My name is Tau... I am known as the Maiden of the Light... May I know you twos names? I already know little Ashy over here... Be careful of her, her cuteness might be too much for one to handle!" she giggled out loud, clearly teasing the little elemi once more in front of strangers!
Oh but finally... Some new people to know! This day was going to great... WC: 639 WCT: 1,140
Ashe hugged her knees to her chest while she was hovering. Just a casual, relaxed position with her calmly floating. The heat was more tolerable with the bottoms of her bare feet not being steadily cooked. Still agonizing for one who was used to cool, dry environments, however. What little of her dark element that drifted off the ends of her hair seemed to travel underneath her in a current, only to sort of.. evaporate, in a manner of speaking. She was lucky that something as simple as floating did not consume a lot of her reserves. In this bright environment with a lack of shadows and other sources to draw from, she couldn't go too crazy. Kai's forbid she start waving her tentacles. They'd dry up like some weird dark elemi jerky, and she could promise you from experience that her own tendrils did not taste good. You would think that maybe they would taste like octopus or squid? At least some form of sea life? Ashe wasn't a fan of seafood, but she could at least say her own tentacles were worse than any fish she had tasted. Though it did sort of make sense that ones own concentrated element manifested in a physical form would taste pretty bad. It was often used to make weapons, after all.
She seemed lost in thought there for awhile as her brain seemed to glue itself to this topic. Did organic Elemi make delicious tasting foods, or were those gross as well? The little Elemi was way too interested in getting an answer to prove her hypothesis. Who did one have to talk to to find a nature Elemi around here? It wasn't until Tau had basically squealed her name that she cocked a brow and looked at Banka, and then Luxain. It appeared she had followed Tau instinctively. Hovering along behind her, leaving an almost cute little trail of blue, wispy particles from her hair. How strange.. Here she thought only clueless children did that sort of thing. Following along, as if on autopilot.
Given the situation presented to her, she could easily put two and two together on why Tau was out here. She twitched her nose.. an increasingly annoying habit that she wasn't sure how she picked up, but nonetheless, she would speak. "I am not sure how someone like me inspired you to be more social, given my own stance on social interaction.. But I am happy I could inspire you to pursue a productive venture that is for more than the improvement of your physical condition." She herself wouldn't have called herself monotone. Really, if anything, she simply spoke coldly. Her voice void of warmth. Not like what Tau might be used to. The girly high pitch, the stutter, the volume.. All gone, here. She was calm, cool, almost as if treating what should have been a casual conversation with too much professionalism.
She looked at Luxain, her eyes narrowing giving her a questioning sort of look. As if processing something. "You're familiar looking.." She muttered her thoughts aloud. Given he hadn't suppressed himself, Ashe could easily feel that same sort of light Tau had. Just much stronger, more potent. Not at all diluted. But because of that, focusing on it for too long made her head hurt. Tau had that perfect amount, Luxain was a tad too much for her senses. "But, ah.. No. I'm no fighter or martial artist of any sort. I simply followed Tau." She gave her own response, and then looked to Banka. Who's energy she couldn't feel if she even tried, but it wasn't as if she suspected him of being an Elemi as well. He didn't have that aesthetic that would suggest that much. "Did you say something to me? I missed it, I was, ah.. Lost in thought, I suppose one might call it." The small Elemi shrugged her shoulders.
'Maiden of Light, huh? What luck that I'd be the one of all people to be taken in and shown unreasonable amounts of hospitality.' She thought to herself, snickering underneath her breath. On some level, she found the title to be comical. It wasn't until that the 'c word' was once again used that she quit her snickering. Not that it took very long. She stopped dead, a flat look on her face.. And then her nose twitched. Twitch, twitch. Red slowly filled her pale cheeks, along with her brow furrowing into an expression of fluster and irritation. "I thought you said you wouldn't use that word if I told you my name! It's not that word, it's Ashenya! Ash-en-ya!" There it was. The Ashe Tau was used to, shaking her fist and protesting in retaliation to these compliments. "They will not be overwhelmed by any kind of visual appeal because there is none!" She added, trying much to hard to avoid.. that word.
It seemed the Android had arrived at quite the curious location, he expected to either fine two delinquents brewing trouble out in the wasteland, or two innocents needing rescue from the hot day. But, instead, he stumbled upon someone who was out here looking for people. "Exciting...?" Banza tried to process the use of this phrase, not being able to comprehend what exactly she found 'exciting' about this instance. Though that was soon enough made clear by the woman's explanation that she hadn't seen anybody for three entire years until just yesterday. "Three years without contact? So this emotion of joy you feel must be new for such a thing. I understand, and will not question any further." it was that same sort of blank word choice that made Banza stand out from other androids. It would be wrong to say that he hated people or didn't care for social instances, but for some reason, he just couldn't react properly like the others did. Then, she stepped back to get away from him, which he almost didn't react to in any way until she apologized. "No need to apologize, Miss Tau, given your status it is a natural response. You may proceed with being excited as much as you wish. In any case, it is nice to meet you... Tau, Ashe." he commented on that last bit sort of hastily, not wanting to cause distress in this woman if she was just trying to be friendly, before looking at the other who was being introduced by Tau in a way.
But it seemed that more than just he would arrive to check on these two girls, as a man who glistened in the extremely hot sun would arrive as well. This immediately made Banza hold an arm above his eyes for a moment to try and get a good look at the man. Soon enough, he would be referenced as well. "Yes, I am SDF Android designed to fill in empty spots on Saiyan Squads that have lost members. However, my current Squad partner left the planet shortly before I was made. As such, I am just a Patrol Android till he returns, and you may consider me as such." he immediately responded to the man's question as cleanly as possible, before turning to the small blue-haired girl who also seemed to be talking in a cold way like he did, the professional way she spoke reminded him of himself.
He'd turn to her now, his eyes looking her up and down. 'Is she an Android as well?' he paused for a moment, letting the question hang in his mind before he sent an energy sweep over the area, being able to sense her energy. 'Hmmm, that can't be. Perhaps she is an organic android of some sorts? I must be mistaken somewhere.' the way he questioned, it wasn't trying to be rude, but rather he was genuinely curious why this girl spoke in the same cold and professional way he did. He thought most people carried a lot of emotion in their voice regardless of the situation, and this was just new data to put in his records should she be of mortal flesh and blood. Perhaps he wasn't alone out there.
Everything sort of went along its merry way with the Android standing off to the side, unneeded for the conversation in the slightest until Ashe directly spoke to him this time, where he would open his mouth to respond to her. "I only asked if you two wanted to be escorted to a city, but that won't be necessary any longer." he responded to the girl fairly quickly as if following a routine to respond to such a question, but from there he stayed relatively quiet again.
It all seemed to go relatively fine here as well, going to a city wasn't necessary for the two of them and the Android didn't need to bring them anywhere. In this scenario, the shade was fine, he had nothing more to add. When he did jump in though, was when the Tau woman started to ask for his and the other man's names, as well as giving a new name for this Ashe girl. "Overriding data, Ashe will now be known as Ashy." he said this out loud in front of all of them in a blank tone, not really catching the obvious signals that she was teasing this Ashy girl. But Ashy immediately replied with a rebuttal to give her true name, this was all over the place. "Cancelling and restarting Override request, Ashe will now be known as Ashenya. Is this fine, miss?" he did this whole song and dance a second time seeing as the girl went through two known names within one set of time, perhaps he wasn't good with this whole nickname thing that could be thrown around.
"My apologies, I just had to update all of that. My given name is Banza." the man gave this firm answer after he was done compiling their current profiles in his mind, waiting for the bright man to give his own details before moving on any further with profiling. He didn't really need to respond to what this Ashenya said next as visual appeal was not his strong suit to touch on, nor would he be overwhelmed by it as she said. WC: 895 TWC: 1380
The device, looking like a small handheld device, beeped quicker and quicker the more he moved in this direction. Maximillion had no idea what the device was, only that it seemed to beep from time to time, and it consistently beeped quicker when he went in one direction rather than another.
Of course, he had no way of knowing he had somehow stumbled upon a particularly ancient brand of Scouter, back when the technology was first introduced, that was little more than a technological divining rod for locating people who had power levels above a certain level, perhaps a power level that was insanely high many ages ago, but that many had evolved past in the milennia that followed.
Maximillion had no reason to know this, and was simply caught up in trying to determine if he had happened upon something powerful and useful. It was only when he began to hear voices that he looked up from where he was, and saw a small cluster of people gathered around. The device was now beeping faster and louder, with him standing about three paces away, just staring at those gathered there, his eyes occasionally moving to the device in his hands, then back up again.
"What could this mean?!" He asked, giving the thing a small shake, as if that might change its behavior, but it just kept beeping quickly and loudly.
"Hmm..."

The reception was... something to be had. Praise was not a thing the prince had seen often on a super personal level. Despite his upbringing, he has always been a bright face for his kingdom but never would have expected to be called 'awesome'. It probably fed into his ego a bit too much right then. He'd soften his smile to something more natural as she came up to him, offering a small nod. Seeing as he also wasn't disturbing her any more than the other guy; That she was actually expecting people out here.
"Oh please, no need to flatter me ma'am. I'll say, even through the heat of this planet's star, you're quite a sight to be had yourself. Did not quite expect such a familiar appearance out on Sadala. Extremely pleasant, actually. And if you aren't out her sparring, then I concur. Just laying out in this heat isn't good for a woman in heavy cloth." He'd be the first to admit, the man also giving a straight nod to the confirmed construct to his side that answered him rather plain. Though he referred to himself as an android? That wasn't quite in his repertoire. But the man seemed to at least understand what he meant. He was created. It was all he needed to hear as clearly Rutaba had countermeasures for any funky business while he was away. or at least he'd assume this was who the bot was referring to. Then was the smaller woman who thought of him familiar. Which was strange considering his reception by others. Usually, people didn't even know his race.
"I'm not known anywhere other than my homeworld, for now. You perhaps then know of Matteria? Are you one of our proud members? That could actually more explain the... well, whatever it is you're doing here before me." It was a quick response, one that he'd deliver before Tau, as she came to be, called herself the maiden of light and introduced as she brought them along elsewhere. He was spoken to directly at first, giving him a moment to take in her features under some shade. As she seemed to try and get around the sweat of her undergarments the man pulled a rag from his side and offered it to her, another hand coming up to grasp at one of hers gingerly. The title seemed to trigger some more ideas that these two weren't just saiyans.
"Miss Tau then, is it? My maiden, I'm Prince Luxain of Lucernia. I fear I'm more interested in that twinkle in your step than Ashenya's name. Your title and overall cheery demeanor has lead me to believe that you perhaps are one of our own?" He'd offer a bit honestly, not really minding the other two around him at the moment as he fixated on his interest here.
Finally! Some shade to cool herself down... And her new friends! The Light Maiden would step under it and continue her business of trying to adjust the wet clothes across her body... However, it was Ashe that got so upset with her name! Tau would begin having a hearty chuckle, patting her head as she absolutely adored Ashe! "No, no... You're CUUU-TTTTTT-IEEEE! Cutie! I think it fits your behavior so well! I love the way you act around me... It's almost very flattering when you get called something sweet~!" Though, Banza would begin to talk now which eagerly made the maiden turn her head with a bright smile. It seemed he was being a typical robot which... kinda confused her at first.. "E-Eh...? Are you okay there, sir?" she asked Banza who was being his typical android self. However, once he was finished with that, he'd introduce himself. Tau's face went from confusion to being back to normal again!
"Banza? That's a wonderful name! It's so nice to meet you, mister!" she wouldn't be afraid of being friendly at all! She'd actually walk over to Banza and lightly take his hand and began to shake it so firmly and politely. Her touch was so gentle and fragile as she releases his hand. All this was going rather interestingly well! The next point of interest was Ashenya and Luxain interacting with each other... It was rather strange but something about Luxain reminds her A LOT about her father. His energy, his well being, and his physical design. It was actually identical to herself... Was this perhaps another Light Elemi? Has she finally met one that's partially similar in blood? Not that Ashe was any different but the common powers in the light would certainly spark an interest for the two to communicate! As Tau was obviously going to wipe the sweat off her cheeks, Luxian would quickly hand her a rag from his side and offer it to her! As she was about to take it, Luxain would lightly grab her other hand and actually surprise her a lot! Her face blushed immensely as the two looked each other in the eyes. It wasn't anything romantic obviously but it caught the young maiden by surprise.
Luxain would say her name and introduce himself. He clearly had more interests in her after all being a half elemi. His main point would come across as he asked her if she was indeed an elemi like himself and Ashe. Her actions and title certainly does prove it.. 'He... He really is like my father...' thinking across her mind. The flustered elemi would blush immensely and lightly smile in such a shy way... She looked down and nodded lightly, "Yes... I am technically half an elemi.. I believe that is the name my father called his race... He was considered a light one himself... It's... so nice to finally see another of my kind..." her eyes looked back up at Luxain. Her eyes soft and innocent... She would lightly try and pull her hand back but not in a rude way... Rather, submissively trying to do so once the two introduced each other properly. Plus... She didn't want Ashe to feel jealous!
"I'm proudly half an elemi while the other half is saiyan! My mother was the saiyan and all and... I supposedly look nothing like her. From your appearance, we actually look rather similar... Eyes, hair, skin tone... Are all light elemis this way in appearance? Of course, I assume you're apart of the light, right Prince Luxain?" her smile was obvious again. She was rather fascinated that he was considered a Prince! That means a lot of things... He's ROYALTY! ROYALTY TO THE LIGHT MAYBE?! The Maiden would hail the Prince if that was the case!

Ashenya had her gaze locked on Luxain now, an expression that could only mean she was still processing things crossed her face before becoming something one might perceive more as homicidal intent. Not that Ashe herself could describe nor comprehend it, but she felt as if the inside of her chest were on fire. That feeling one gets of faint numbness in their hands when clenching their fists too hard greeted her as well, but she didn't seem to at all notice this. Despite that though, she did have to be somewhat polite and acknowledge the android first. He was not the object of her ire, after all. "Ashenya is perfect. Now excuse me for a moment." She tried for that cold, professional tone she had before, but now there was no mistaking the venom dripping from her words, no matter how plain her words might seem.
The blush she saw on Tau's face sealed the deal for her, and she began to drift forward just as Tau had pulled her hand away. A prince light Elemi.. That figures. Light and royalty, two of the many reasons she had left her home in pursuit of some form of peace and quiet. She supposed that wouldn't be happening today, though. Ashe was close, now, pretty much between the two Elemi with her feet then placed in the sand so that she might stand tall. As tall as a girl of her stature might, anyway. With her back turned to Tau, she might spot something a tad bit unnerving. Tiny, very tiny, dull blue little smooth looking appendages moved around through the back of her hair. Only noticeable due to their stark contrast in shade from the rest of Ashenya's dark blue hair. "She isn't your maiden, buddy. Find a different socket to stick your night light into before I make use of yours." The intent of her words might be lost on someone as innocent as Tau, but she figured that the prince would have some degree of understanding. Such a confident prince must think he can have any woman he wants, no? Boy, was it difficult not to let out the full length of just one of her tentacles to better emphasize her words.
Ultimately, Tau may try to stop her. And if Ashe were being honest, she would be somewhat okay with that. There was still that irrational portion of her that didn't want to stop, that wanted to make a little misunderstanding far more than it was, regardless of whether or not she was outmatched. And speaking of Tau.. "I would advise speaking to someone educated and unbiased on the subject if you're going to be speaking about elements, Tau." Those words had been much calmer than the last, but one could assume as much was likely due to who she was speaking to.
Banza couldn't help but just give the woman a firm handshake back as she took his. It seemed so gentle that he couldn't exactly deem any of it as a hostile action no matter the firmness. The handshake breaking was all he really needed to go back to just casually watching from the sidelines at all of this, as it was hardly something he wanted to get into the middle of. To start off, the blue-haired little Ashenya seemed to be actually fuming in some way, her words being like a dagger even when trying to be polite to answer what she wanted to be called. Was this not one would call... a fight? Not a fight with fists, but of words.
Apart from the fighting, it seemed the two more light-haired people were hitting it off in some sort of way. This was what they called romance, in some form, at least to a minor degree! But a romance was not always a mutual road, sometimes paths crossed into one, as it seemed the smaller girl was quite jealous of this as well. That even further provoked a phrase that sounded... evocative, to put it lightly. He supposed it was his job to get between all of this but the other three were already so close together with the android standing off to the side that it all felt a little... strange.
Nonetheless, Banza would walk closer to the trio and look down towards Ashenya, before moving his gaze to Luxain as if examining the two. "I apologize for interrupting, but this situation has become quite escalated. Perhaps not to a degree that requires immediate and forceful attention, but as a keeper of the peace I must at least offer advice to deter you from escalating things further." the Android spoke with a more delicate tone this time as if he was trying to disarm a situation. It didn't sound so flat now... was this how he was when doing a job, perhaps?
"Perhaps we should all step back and start from zero, no? Nobody needs to make use of any... sockets, today." he tried to speak in a peaceful manner, but his focus seemed to be mainly focused on Ashenya, as the other two were making relatively innocent talk amongst themselves. However, perhaps the girl was going in the right direction with some of it, as the so-called Prince did speak in a way that seemed, foreign, perhaps? That wasn't to say that the words he used were unintelligible, but rather that the way they were being used seemed troubling to decipher at times. Regardless of what his words meant, open threats needed to be disarmed immediately, regardless of which side should back off first.
"If that is not acceptable, however, I am sure there is another solution to this problem other than dividing acquaintances? Surely there is more than just what is being said on the surface." his eyes darted between the two more. It was easy to notice that the girl spoke a lot more calmly to the other woman, it seemed so odd in comparison. Perhaps it was a protective nature being displayed here. He waited to inquire more, however. WC: 535 TWC: 1915
Oh yeah, the blushing and subservience really did feed into him a bit. The prince would get to hear of confirmation and hesitant noises from the maiden of light before having her draw away from him rather nervously. He didn't grab on tight, so slipping away from his endearing grasp wasn't all that hard. He just smiled and gave a quiet chuckle at the circumstances. Really, the niceness and returned admiration set him off to really shine in front of his subordinates. Revealing two of his own people somehow having been on Sadala for a while was quite the interesting news.
"Haha, of course! We, the light, shine forever brighter with the passing days! I could tell you much more about our peoples, maybe over a better setting and circumstance. I'm sure Matteria, our kingdom of Lucernia in particular, would take you in very readily. Your father must have been some of the few who took to space early. Quite a brave man to go out into the deep with some of these creatures I've encountered out here... The Saiyans are great warriors, in particular though!" He'd offer a bit of praise of his own, bestowed onto the two of his own kind before him just before the smaller, darker woman decided to pipe in rather irritatingly. Up to this point, he was pretty much looking past the fact this small girl was in fact of the Tenebrae descent. Being a dark one, their polarity would get a bit stark if she continued to pester him. He'd just pinch at the bridge of his nose and sigh. Looking away eventually.
"Ahh, sorry, was I not giving you enough attention either? You'll have to excuse me, despite my caring more for a united people rather than separating ourselves into rank like the uncivilized, I still prefer to have a look at the more familiar. What, a proud prince and warrior cannot offer help to those in need? You must be quite the presumptuous one to assume that and my biases towards your flavor, miss. We are ALL Elemi." He'd tautly offer, eventually shifting over to a kinder tone near the ending bit with a smile and wave of his hand. Clearly wanting to just wave off bother whatever this young woman was supposing of him and what he'd politely call a maiden and his biases. He knew his own attitude, damn it! Noone was going to stand and tell him otherwise, especially not one that seemed more a deserter than an actual early explorer. No, he'd step back away from the smaller girl and just shake his head towards the construct with a shrug.
"No need, my fine Banza. If anything escalates further than this, rest assure I can put a stop to it fairly quickly myself. I am rather keen on not separating ourselves in frustration either and will remove either myself or this one if need be. Peacefully, if able. I've no qualms if she wishes to challenge me, however." He'd offer rather lightly, actually, resting a hand to the pommel of his sword. As much as a prince he was, his world was still one where battle and war were very prevalent. He was a learned and talented swordsman and lord of his people, he'd not take kindly to those just talking down to him. Rank or not. If she wasn't one of his own he'd probably have done something more drastic in face of the small darkling trying to not only bark at him but intimidate him. Pushing similar, racy bits that his own strived pretty hard to try erasing... Always the most stubborn, aren't they?
