(OOC: Since Shiori is an Android, no one will be able to sense her PL. They can see her PL with a scouter though. Also this thread takes place in Age 1590.)
The crowd of people who had gathered to see this event was rather surprising. You would think that after everything the Earth had been through that everyone would be hesitant to spectate fights where powerful beings could show off their abilities. Then again, people did need some type of entertainment. Perhaps there was something more personal about coming to a stadium in person.
The white haired girl had been studying her potential opponents since the preliminary rounds. She had to hold back quite a bit when punching that machine. Unlike some other individuals, Shiori was constantly in her most powerful form. Those who made it to the actual bracket stood out to her.
Shiori was surprised to find that there were a fair gathering of otherworldly beings there. She recognized one of them as a Kold Demon. If she still had resentment towards them for what they had done on Bris then she was doing a good job of hiding it. Although she had kept her red eyes locked on him for a significant amount of time.
Shiori had made her way to the arena when her name was called, waiting for her opponent to arrive. She simply stood on the arena, looking towards where the other person would show up. She supposed that she made for a rather intimidating figure. She wasn’t the tallest person around, but her white hair and her perpetually calm demeanor could potentially be off putting to others.
Shiori tuned out the crowd, ridding herself of distractions. The only thing that mattered now was fighting her opponent. This tournament would hopefully prove challenging to her. Otherwise it would negate the purpose of enrolling in it.
To say that Lucky was ecstatic over the prospect f a martial arts tournament was an understatement! Her warriors blood had been boiling ever since she'd heard about it from her father! At first he had wanted her to simply watch the tournament and make sure that nothing went wrong, but what better way to monitor the fighters than to BE one of the fighters! She had gone ahead against her fathers wishes and enrolled in the tournament, talking t absolutely everyone there as if just an innocent child wanting to get to know all the the fighters! No one took the fox tailed girl seriously as she hopped from one coversation to another, her tail swaying back and forth as she watched everyone fight.
"Wooooaaaaah. I'm so happy that the earthlings are doing this... It's definitely a step in the right direction! Everything ill go great, yep yep yep!" She exclaimed to herself, pausing when she finally heard her name called, punching the air as if she had already won.
"Hurray! It's my turn!" She cried out once more, earning chuckles and boastful laughter from other competitors as she skipped along the path and up to the ring. There were sooooo many people in the crowds watching this! The fur on her tail bristled and a light shiver of excitement ran down her spine as she turned to look at her opponent with the goofiest grin possible on her face.
"Ohayoooo White-lady! My name is Red, I look forward to fighting you." She said respectfully, bowing her upper body towards Shiori politely, completely oblivious to the fact that she had in fact met Shiori once before, long ago on planet Namek.

A muscular fourteen years old slipped through the crowds, trying to find a good spot for watching the tournament. Once he found the right spot, he plopped himself down and rubbed his hands together. So far in the tournament he have seen quite the number of species. He could name some of them, but on this opening match, his attention isn't at those people. His attention is at the two names on the match list. Shiori... huh. The said person doesn't feel like she have any power to speak of... but he know that's probably... because she's not exactly a human. the said boy slipped out his scouter and clicked it several times. Oh, 100.000... right, that's more like it. He quickly stashed it back again.
The boy's name is Beat. While strength should have been high enough for him to join the tournament himself, he preferred to not enter for many reason. It is indeed was his longtime dream though, to join this sort of tourney and win it. Imagining fighting against people both from out of the planet and inside of it, and then learning as they fight... is how he wanted to fight. But nowadays such things are luxury. The countdown to demon queen's unsealing is ticking. At that time just how much longer until an all out war started? For that reason, the youth tried to hone his diplomatic skill while at the same time establishing friendly relationship between Remnant Alliance and Earth yet again. He hoped that as the two factions targeted by the Goddess of Destruction (false) they would have more reason in common to band together.
...But there's no one saying that a diplomat can't take a break right?
Once the name of his girlfriend called, Beat cheered. "LUCKY, GOODLUCK!" As much as he wanted to add "if you win I'll treat you to dessert day", he really don't want his girlfriend to die from diabetes or overexcitement (lol) so he guess he'll just settle on secretly treating her for it later.
Androids admittedly is really hard to fight against, especially when he think about it no items should be allowed... that means Lucky cannot sense the attack that the other girl would dish out. With that being said, he won't contact her from outside the ring either, because that would be cheating. Sportsmanship is important.
Unlike Lucky, Shiori did recognize the Kitsune from a year ago. These days it was impossible for her to forget anything. She remembered the kindness shown to her in their brief encounter. She seemed like a nice enough individual. Shiori spoke to her soon to be opponent calmly.
“You prefer to be designated as Red? IL refer to you as such for the duration of the match. You may refer to me as White if you so wish. Calling me by that nickname is acceptable.”
Shiori didn't bring up the fact that they had met once before. It had only been a year, but so much had changed in that time span. That girl that Lucky had encountered was nothing more than a ghost. A memory of what once was.
Shiori heard a rather loud voice call out the Kitsune’s real name. She looked up into the stands, her scanners focusing on a young boy. He had a fairly strong power reading. She looked at him for a moment before turning her attention back to Lucky.
“A close friend of yours I presume. Neither of you need worry: I don't intend on severely injuring you. This will be a clean and fair match.”
When the signal was given, Shiori sprinted forward. She quickly ran over to the Kitsune and throwing a punch at her face. It wasn’t anything that couldn't be dealt with. Shiori was testing the waters before really getting into the fight. Shiori’s momentum would carry her past Luck Red should the punch connect or miss.

Shiori throws out a basic melee attack for 90,000 damage.
"You sound silly, White-chan! Kinda like a robot! Hehehe are you a robot? Oh I bet you're just nervous right? It's okay! I'm not going to go full out if I don't have too, I don't want to hurt you!" She said kindly, not really thinking of the fact that her words might be insulting to another warrior. Right as she stood up straight once again, the announcer called the fight and White-chan was immediately on her! Lucky blinked repeatedly as Shiori closed the gap between them, swinging a punch at the girl which caused Lucky to squeak lightly in surprise as the punch connected, sending Lucky hurling back to the edge of the ring with a gasp.
'What was that! I didn't sense her energy at all! That punch was so strong too.... owwwwiiiiie.....'
[/i] She thought to herself, rubbing her chest painfully as she looked to White-chan with the same goofy smile on her face. It suddenly dawned on her and the girls eyes widened as if she had just walked into a candy store.
"You ARE a robot after-all aren't you! Haaaaaaa I knew it! White-chan that's so cool! I'll take you seriously from now on okay? Here we gooooo! Judgement BEAM!" She called out as she brought her hands to her side, twirling around in a circle as if she was in the middle of a dance, then launched the blast forward towards Shiori!

...Acchaa.. there she did it again. Beat sighed. It's not good of calling her a robot. Oh well. Even though that it's true that she's a robot, it might make people get offended after all.
...Then again he's not in better situation. Almost everyone around him suddenly either left to look for new seat or tried hard to get away from him as silently as possible. They didn't say anything, but their action spoke clearer than any words. Oh well. At this point he's pretty much used to it. If anything, more room for his legs. Beat slowly stretched it out. Hmmm, for this time around he guess he'll just stay quiet on the tactic. He wanted to see how good his Lucky without any of his directives. Hopefully great enough. If she want to be higher up of galactic patrol for real, then she have to pass through this hurdle by herself.
At any rate, it began. First the girl attacked Lucky with basic attack. He guessed that the girl has done some modification. The force behind that attack is more than what his girlfriend could handle. Lucky in turn returned the attack with a technique of her own....
...Now that he somehow remember about it... isn't this tourney doesn't allow one to use weapons? So... that means... she only have that one skill?
...Beat's eyes twitched hard. This darn hyper kitsune... she's damn lucky that she's his favorite girl and he loves her a lot, otherwise he'd smack her for entering the tournament without any sort of preparation. He really need to whip her up into shape.
Shiori had ignored the initial comment about her being a robot. There wasn’t any malicious intent behind the comment. The Kitsune was just a very ditzy individual. When she addressed it again after her punch connected, Shiori couldn’t just ignore it this time. She stared at the Kitsune, speaking out in a monotone voice.
“That is an accurate description of my current physiology. I would prefer it if you called me a human. That’s what I was born as before I went through the modifications. And that is what I will live and die as.”
If she was upset about it there was no way to tell. Shiori wasn’t all that expressive. Although she had gone out of her way to explain that aspect of herself. So it was important enough for her to clarify that at the very least.
Shiori had more than enough time to react to the attack. Lucky had insisted on making it as flashy as possible by making many unnecessary motions. The options she had were many, but there was one in particular that would get the result that she wanted.
As the red bean shoot out towards Shiori, she roller up one of her sleeves, then extended her arm out, holding her palm up. The blast connected with her, causing her to recoil with the force of the blast, causing her to bend her knees to withstand the force.
When the light faded away, Shiori kept her arm extended so that Lucky could see the extent of the damage. She had completely destroyed the glove on that hand, and there were mild singe marks present on her palm and up her lower arm. Otherwise she looked completely fine.
“Your earlier concern is appreciated. As you can see though, I’m more durable then I appear to be. Damage to me is easily repairable. If you don't go all out there's a 100% probability that you will lose. It would also negate the purpose of me enrolling in the tournament if my opponents didn't go all out. So I implore you to go all out Red.”
Shiori withdrew her arm, turning her wrist so that her palm was tilted upwards. She produced a red energy orb in her hand, extending her arm back and throwing it at the Kitsune. It didn't look nearly as flashy as Lucky’s attack. But anyone who could sense energy could tell that it packed more of a punch.

Shiori blocks the Justice Beam for 90,000. 41,244 damage bleeds through.
Shiori uses [EOT-1] Crimson Orb
The User creates a red energy orb in their palm and throws it at their opponent.
"Yataaaaaaaaaaaa" The girl cheered as her blast hit it's mark, smacking into Shirori and pushing her back. The girl would giggle as she punched the air in victory, but it soon became evident taht her blast didn't exactly do as she intended. Shiori was still standing, and that caused the Kitsune girl to stop jumping around. She smiled broadly though, not overly worried about Shiori not being knocked out of the ring by her attack.
"I'm sorry White-chan! Whooo you are really strong though! Okay, fine you want me to go all out then here we go!" Apparently she hadn't gone all out thanks to that declaration. Lucky reached up to her ponytail and went to grab the mechanical piece that was usually perched there. Except this time it wasn't, because she wasn't aloud to bring weapons in... She forgot that she didn't have her sword on her, and that made Lucky break out into a nervous laughter. She brought her hand away from her hair so it didn't look suspicious, though internally she started to freak out.
'What do I do, what do I do, what do I do! I don't have my sword so I can't use any of my techniiiiiiiiques! WAAAAAAAAAAA This isn't goooood! Beat is going to be so disappointed' She could almost feel his disapproving glare drilling into her back as he just stood there like dead weight for a moment. She honestly didn't move again until Shiori used her Crimson Orb. It was enough to prompt the girl to move again... she had to do something to not be useless! Okay this was were all of her watching Beat train would come in handy! She pushed herself forward TOWARDS Shirori's Crimson beam, her hand changing once more with the same fiery red energy as before. She would push the energy forward again, though this time straight into Shiori's attack!!
BOOM~!
Well Lucky's attack was short lived as it was completely engulfed by Shiori's own attack and the remainder of it crashed into the little Kitsune girls body, knocking her clean off of her feet and pushing her back across the arena floor. She slid all the way until she reached the very edge of the arena, gripping tightly onto the cracks to make sure she didn't slide off and lose. This wasn't good... without her sword, she really had no way to properly channel her energy... she'd figured this all out in theory, but had never actually applied it to an unarmed combat situation. Her cheeks started to go red as she felt pretty embarrassed by the fact that she was an officer of the Galactic patrol and was losing so badly...
"Ouch... hehe White... you really are strong." She would say with a heavy breath as she pushed herself back up to her feet. This was a lot harder than she thought... she just had to calm down and fight like she was training with her dad right? She would suddenly lunge towards Shiori, aiming a flurry of punches towards the android girl, attempting to push her back towards the edge of the ring.

Disappointed... might not be quite right, but the saiyan halfling's eyes twitched when Lucky about to reach to her hair where supposedly she kept her transformable hairclips... of course those are violation against the tournament's rules. Beat just winced at the reflex. Yeah, he know it's not her fault, but at the same time, he can't help but to think she might need more training. He's wrong in not training her enough... But what can he do? They're both busy. Plus Lucky is the book smart, not the street smart. He's supposed to be the street smart one... and he forgot to teach her of how to be street smart herself! The moment the attack hit, Beat almost had a flashback when she was attacked by slavers... It took him nearly all his willpower to not transform to his highest form right there.
Though... looks like she's hanging in there!
"LUCKY!" Beat immediately called out "DON'T PANIC NOW! DON'T THINK OF LOSING! JUST HAVE FUN, HAVE FUN AND WIN, LIKE HOW YOU LIKE IT! DON'T GET DISTRACTED JUST SIMPLY BECAUSE I'M HERE! DON'T WIN FOR ANYONE ELSE, WIN FOR YOURSELF!"
That was embarrassing, but he know that she honestly thinking what would his reaction at that. Well if she lose he'll just train her. She did great to not escape that's for sure... and he's proud of her. Still, shouting like that made many just looking at him, and it's really embarrassing... Beat hugged his face to hid his beet red cheeks and ears. His tail bristled and wriggling shyly. That was... that was really not something that he would like to repeat....
“Shiori’s doing quite well, Mr. Yoshida,” Rex said to him, turning his head with a smile. Shira gave a small grin, watching from the stands with interest. “Indeed she is… though we did build her... She was by far the best candidate of Project Omega. Her potential is something that scares even myself, to be frank…,” Shira said honestly about Shiori. She was advancing quickly, and even though less of her humanity remained than he’d have liked, she was evolving constantly. She was a major asset and he would do his best to guide her onto the right path. He only hoped that the girl didn’t become malevolent as a result of her new power. He trusted that he’d be able to stop that from happening. “I’m curious… why didn’t you want to join the tournament? You certainly could have fared well..,” the scientist noted with a nod.
“Haha… perhaps. But it’s better that I remain away from the public eye for now. Displaying too much of our work in the open is certainly dangerous. I sent Shiori because I wanted to see how well she’d do, rather than test the new evolved version of my suit. Besides she’s less prone to break than I am, hahaha,” he said with a hearty bit of laughter. He was proud of the girl much like a father would to their child, even though she wasn’t related to him in any capacity. It was a strange bond that bound them together. Aside from Rex, Shiori had become one of his most trusted companions. Shiori, being a logic-based construct, would always give Shira a most honest answer (even if he didn’t want it). He had come to rely on it. Rex was both an intellectual and a rock to lean on however. He gave emotional support in ways Shiori couldn’t. “That makes sense I suppose, sir…,” Rex would say. Shira looked at him funny for a second. “Why do you always insist on all the formalities, Rex? Sheesh,” he would say. “It’s just the way that I am, sir. Do forgive me,” he said with a quiet laugh. “Alright. Shiori’s doing well… Suffice to say that this looks like this might be an easy win for her. My sensors tell me that other girl won’t last very long…
Unless she’s got some kind of transformation under her sleeve at least….,” he said quietly… eyeing the lad on the other side of the stands shouting for the girl. His sensors indicated he was a Saiyan hybrid. Not too surprising given how many of those were around here, but still interesting.
“Show them all what you can do.. Shiori,” Shira thought to himself with a calm smile.
Her opponent seemed to be… celebrating her victory? How loud she was being and the way she was moving was consistent with how some who won a tournament match would act. Not someone landing a hit. Maybe she thought it had been enough to knock her out.
“You don’t need to apologize. If you were referring to calling me an Android, then it wasn’t your fault for not knowing I was human before the conversion. If your apology was aiming at injuring me, that would also be not needed. It's expected to inflict damage to your opponent in a martial arts tournament.”
Shiori watched calmly as Lucky reached up to her hair and grab… nothing. Her opponent was nervously laughing at the wasted motion. Shiori analyzed the possible reasons for this sequence of events to occur. She rolled her sleeve back down and quickly came to a conclusion.
“Do you usually keep some type of item there? Real fights don't have rules and regulations. I imagine it would be easy for one to forget a routine when it's suddenly taken away due to special circumstances.”
Shiori watched as her opponent actually charged into her attack, firing her own to lessen the damage. She nearly had slid out of the arena, but she managed to keep her footing. Shiori shifted into a fighting stance again, but didn’t move from her current position.
“You’re rather skilled yourself. You could have avoided that by expending more energy to dodge it or fire a stronger attack against mine. Instead you expended less energy to only lessen the damage my attack inflicted to you. That was a wise decision. If you had tired yourself out I would have pushed harder with stronger attacks and worn you you quickly. Instead you only took minor damage while holding onto your energy to use later. That was good improvisation, Red.”
At the sound of Beat’s voice from the stands, Shiori's left eye panned over, her eyeball moving up and looking at the source of the noise. Shiori’s right eye was still locked on Lucky. Like a chameleon or a set of security cameras, Shiori seemed to be able to look at two places at once. She regarded him, completely expressionless. About 5 seconds later her eye swiveled back so that it was looking at the Kitsune again.
Her opponent then engaged her in a flurry of strikes. They were surprisingly fast and hard hitting for someone who had just taken the full force of one of her attacks. Shiori engaged in a series of blocks and punches of her own, being slowly pushed back. Shiori took some hits from the attack, but pressed on regardless. She didn’t seem pressured enough that she couldn’t talk to her opponent during the exchange.
“I thought that person up there was your friend. He seems very close to you though. Is he a sibling? Your best friend? What relation do you have with him?”
Shiori knew that she was being watched by Shira and others of the RRA. She didn’t have to show everything she was capable of just yet. Her opponent wanted to have fun and was a bit weaker than her. So she could afford to hold back just a little bit. Besides, she didn’t want her opponents to see too much of her techniques.
[WC=630][TWC=1,610]
Shiori blocks the melee for 90,000. 14,995 damage bleeds through.
Shiori uses a basic melee for 90,000. The whole block and melee is favored as a sequence of exchanged blows.
"Yep yep I definitely could have but you know I am a pretty good tactician! Mhmmmm always top of my class when it came to this sort of stuff! If I could use my sword I'd really be at full strength but... I guess this will have to do!" She began rolling up her sleeves, revealing the rather scrawny arms underneath them as if she meant business. She would then hear Beat calling out to her and her cheeks started to go red as she heard his words of encouragement... that idiot was only going to distract her... and if he was watching then he was just going to judge her on how she fought... She suddenly became quite self conscious about herself, though as Beat told her to just have fun with this match she nodded gently.
"Right... Just have fun like I always do... okay! Here we go~ Round 2... 3? Whatever!" She pumped herself up once more, running towards Shiori full tilt, putting in all of her available power, so much so that a secondary fox tail began to materialize behind her. Her teeth started to grow into elongated fangs and her nails began to sharpen as she began to delve deeper into her transformations. Her power shot up abve that of Shiori's current state, and her claws began to glow with Crimson energy as she approached Shiori.
"R...Realtionship.... he's my... my... b...b.b.b.b...b.oyfriend... I.... hmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!" How long had the two been together and Lucky still wasn't able to openly admit her feelings for the boy. Of course when they were alone she would do all those couply things with him but when it came to the public seeing her affection for him she just... couldn't handle it for some reason! Her face became as red as a tomato, her eyes hazy as she became very clearly distracted in her lunge. Every aspect f her transformation died away as Red swiped harmlessly at White, stumbling as she missed. As the began to stumble and lose her footing, Red would bring her hands up to cover her face in embarrassment, not noticing how close to the edge she was getting.
"Wh...Why do you - WAH" *THUMP* Red would suddenly trip on her own feet, effectively knocking herself out of the ring, to embarassed to even pick herself up off the floor.

Oooh... this is the first time he saw her transforming! This should be good... But can she defeat the enemy in front of her? Ah well, beat decided that he'll just watch for now. Deep inside, he's rooting for her mentally... Still, he can't help but to chuckle when she rolled her sleeves like that. "...You're just so hopeless," Beat muttered in low voice. Ah well... what can he do with this really cute girlfriend of his? The moment that the transformation unveils itself, Beat reminded of the legend of Tenko from his village... He never thought that there is actually a race based of those foxes, or those foxes are what Lucky supposedly be... In that case, it should be go---
...WAIT WHY THE HELL IS SHE BLUSHING IN THIS KIND OF TIME AND PLACE?! OI, SHE... SHE KNOCKED OUT HERSELF!? Beat's eyes widened and he could only gaped at the sight of his girlfriend tripped from her own lunge. Beat sighed and scratched his head. "Well, that's a thing... Excuse meeee..." He flew and landed right beside Lucky. The younger boy squatted down and flicked his girlfriend's forehead. "...Honestly, you need more training if in battle you still have to think about how the other feel and what they imagine about you... But that was a good lesson isn't it? Next time around, I'll train you so you get strong enough, OK? "
He helped her get back to her feet. "That was a good fight, thanks for giving her the chance to learn and to give me insight of what to train her on, Miss. Here hoping that you'll win your next match. Now..."
Beat quickly lifted the fox girl in princess carry. "Let's take a break for a bit while, Lucky. Then we'll continue watch the rest of the tourney, yeah?"
They taught you these techniques in a classroom setting? The curriculum here is rather lax in comparison. I was trained to fight by experts at first. I taught myself the rest of what I know. You’re missing a weapon too? It’s a bit disconcerting to fight without my lance, but my fighting ability is effective even without it.”
Shiori was prepared to engage the Kitsune, who it seemed was finally getting serious about things. Shiori bent her knees, leaning back and preparing to launch forward. But then Lucky suddenly lost her composure. Shiori turned her head as the Kitsune ran past her, and out of bounds. There was dead silence for a few seconds. Then the crowd burst out into hysterical laughter. The announcer chuetled, fumbling the mic in his hands before he called the match.
“The winner…is… Shiori Fuyuhana! Hahahah!”
He at least had the sense to lower the mic before he too burst into hysterics. Shiori ignored it, walking over towards the Kitsune. The Saiyan boy flew over and wished her luck in her next match.
"I’ve noted your kind sentiment towards me. However I have analyzed my opponents capabilities during their last fight. I won’t trouble you with the precise calculations, but the probability for failure is a low percentage.”
Shiori looked over at the Kitsune with her red eyes. It would definately unsettle a few people, with her overall serious demeanor. She spoke just loud enough for her to be audible over the hysterical crowd of gagglers.
“Don’t let them take away value from our fight Red. You fought well. Your partner should be proud of you. I apologize for prying too deeply into that. I was simply curious since I’ve never had anyone cheer for me like that. We should have a friendly match again, when we can use our weapons.”
Shiori bowed her head to the Kitsune, then turned and walked back into the arena tunnel. She still had two more matches to go through, but was confident that she could pull this off. Still… that match had been rather pleasant. It was an unexpected surprise that was the highlight of her day. She doubted the rest of the tournament would be this pleasant.
"Owwwww that's was so mean!" Lucky complained as Beat came over and flicked her in the forehead. She brought her hands up above the spot he flicked, sitting bolt upright as she heard the laughter erupt from the stands, and while most people would be embarrassed, Lucky couldn't help but laugh herself, rubbing the back of her neck as her face remained beat red the entire time. This definitely sucked, but it was all for fun right! And she didn't want to show everyone what she could really do anyways... it would sort of compromise her as a patrolwoman.
"You better help me get really strong then Beat! Man... I can't believe I did that! Oh well.. hey Wh-" She stopped yelling whenever Shiori walked over, she'd just smile up at the other girl who praised her for their fight, and even went as far as to suggest a friendly spar with their weapons at a different time. Lucky would smile brightly as she gave Shiori a thumbs up and a big smirk.
"You bet! It was really fun White-san! You're really strong, so beat this guy so we can have a serious fight okay!?" She cheered her on, pushing herself to her feet now and waving to Shiori who had turned to leave, before she would exit along with Beat.
