And this was a very stupid thing. To think Earth got wished back. Those dragon ball things were quite handy, he thought, but yet he didn’t know who did that, but probably there were plenty of people that wanted to restore this planet. It didn’t really matter to him though, but once he heard that this World Martial Arts Tournament would be giving a prize money to the winner, he felt immediately compelled to participate as he was working towards having enough money so they could stage the comeback of the Planet Trade Organization. There was plenty of planets there for the taking and with just how “peaceful” things were right now, the intergalactic real estate business was quite prosperous. People didn’t want to go conquer places, they wanted to buy them. But, in order to be able to enter in such a business, one needs money to invest and that was something that he did not have at the moment.
Thus, he was here. He was surprised they didn’t care about his race when he registered and that was a first; maybe they were really open about different races in these events as he could tell from the quite varied background of competitors he saw during the preliminary rounds. Most of them weren’t worth a penny, truth be told, but it was quite amusing to watch people punching a stupid machine in order to determine who would qualify for the next round. He had to hold his punches quite a lot and yet he was among the few people who made it to the actual competition. Maybe it would be a breeze, he thought, and maybe he would be able to do it without unleashing his true power.
And the food was great. He was having a real good time on this planet. He made sure to enjoy it as much as possible as he was going to compete on his first match against someone from a race he didn’t recognize. He was wearing some Planet Trade Organization looking armour, though, and that was enough for him to be somewhat alert, but not too much. He was feeling pretty confident and nothing would spoil his mood.
Finally, when they announced the start of the Tournament, he calmly walked towards the arena, greeting his opponent on the way with a simple nod. As he walked, he saw the huge crowd cheering for them and he felt good. Cygnus liked this attention, it was something he could quickly grow fond of. Mesmerized by it, he waved towards them with a large smile on his thin lips as he made his way to the arena. The place was large enough so he wouldn’t be constantly concerned about a ring out, and on top of that flying was second nature to him, so he completely and arrogantly disregarded that possibility.
Placing himself on the left side of the arena, he rested his hands on his hips and, still with the smile on his face, stared at his opponent. ”Let’s try and make this entertaining, shall we? Ohohoho!” he said, chuckling in a mix of excitement and cocky tone.
The fight was about to begin.

Kyokan wasn't too sure on why he joined this tournament specifically, it just seemed like something to do during this time of peace that befell them all. He was a hitman for hire, but when everyone was making nice and trying not to kill each other he was left with empty pockets. The intent seemed cleared enough off the bat, earn money the way you knew how. Even if it was for the entertainment of others and killing would be greatly frowned upon the Gerodowr just seemed content knowing he could make some money. He wasn't too worried about losing either, as his Time Skip was an unbeatable skill that none had really seen through before. Very few even knew it existed, as they were killed before they had a chance to figure it out. In this case no death would occur, but it was still unlikely that anybody would learn of his time skip maneuver until it was already over for them. Whether it was used or not.
He'd suppress his own power greatly, not even being a fraction of his actual strength to the point that he could actually get through the preliminaries without causing too much of a fright or a fuss. In all actuality, he seemed like he was just barely enough to get by. At last, it was time for the first round, it would be over fast enough. With that in mind, he made his way up onto the right side of the arena, gauging his opponent a bit visually with his hands in his pockets as he just stared coldly across. They almost seemed like two opposites as the other had a smile on his face with such a relaxed posture, the tone of his voice also being something silly. From the looks of things, he was one of those Kold Demons from back when the Gerodowr had minor run-ins with the Planet Trade Organization. With any amount of luck, that meant this wasn't his opponent's full power that he was sensing either.
Whether that fact was true or not, he kept himself suppressed down to a similar level as the opponent, for now, not daring to smile himself as he just gave a firm nod. "We may try." the way he spoke was blunt, and cold, his hands not even moving out of his pockets as it seemed the fight was about to get underway. Was this any way to face an opponent that could very well be worthy of a fraction of his power? Probably not, but that didn't stop Kyokan from doing it in the slightest. His gaze was sharp and careless in this way, if he knew what race his opponent belonged to, he obviously wasn't showing any respect for it.
Kyokan's legs spread apart slightly as if that was his defensive or offensive stance. But even then his hands remained where they were like that was just how he was going to start off the battle. "Make your first strike worthwhile, I will give you that much of an opportunity." his words sounded almost like a threat in a way, as if he was going to try and take this opponent of his out after giving him that tiny chance without a care to let the fight go on longer than that. Was he going to go back on trying to make it entertaining? Perhaps, that was up to his opponent. ”Oh?” Cygnus arched his brows at the first words of his opponent, telling him to make his first strike count as this one was a freebie. The Kold Demon was not a particularly proud individual, but he still had his pride. Although he didn’t really care about his race, it was still inside his mind that he came from one of the most powerful races in the whole cosmos and that most races cowered in fear at the sight of one of his kin, and this guy was there, disregarding him like he was nothing but a lowly scum? Well, that was something he wouldn’t let slide so easily.
”You do have a sharp tongue! But… Do you have the resources to back it up? Ohohohoho!” and his answer to the threat from the man was to tease him, cracking a large smirk on his face as he slid into a somewhat trained fighting stance, one he learned in his training under the Plant Trade Organization, even if he wasn’t the most applied student. ”But worry not, for I intend on taking full advantage of your foolishness! Ohohoho! To allow a free attack, you are probably as naive as a saiyan!” he said, narrowing his eyes at his target as he got ready to start the duel.
The crowd watching held their breath as the excitement for the first match of the World Martial Arts Tournament was no longer able to be contained.
And so it startet.
Cygnus moved his right hand above his head, concentrating a high amount of energy, creating a mid-sized, purple coloured energy sphere. ”Taste my… Super Crusher Ball!” he exclaimed as he fired the energy sphere right at his opponent, showing just how serious he was right now.

Even when the Kold Demon went to tease the Gerodowr, he kept a very relaxed and almost unwavering face as he saw it as nothing more than idle chat to let him know what this opponent thought of his own threats. Perhaps he had no idea what his race was or was capable of. That would strike a very wonderful advantage against one of the only races he'd have to worry about in regards to his powers. Kyokan's eyebrows began to raise a bit, however, as his opponent slid into a fighting stance that looked a lot more refined. It seemed that other races required such a thing... but he never had a need for such a thing. It seemed the Kold Demon was going to go for the attack in full as well. Very interesting.
"I wouldn't have it any other way." his hands stayed in his pockets as a soft aura of dark teal ki went up around his body, allowing the Kold Demon access to sense his base power if he was even able to do so. And there, he sat, a soft smile moving onto his face that wasn't very noticeable aside from the slight movements on the edges of his lips to make it do so. Kyokan's eyes locked onto the arm of his Kold Demon opponent, watching the energy sphere be formed as he'd stay in his same stance almost unmoving. Of course all was not as it seemed, as Kyokan was using a fraction of his time skip power to prepare for the attack coming towards him, seeing as he had no reason to waste too much energy on putting the Kold Demon on the offensive just yet.
Upon hearing his opponent's exclamation of his attack, Kyokan's feet moved very slightly outwards as the attack seemingly collided with his location, before, moving through him without losing any velocity as it'd be able to collide with the arena stage in a dramatic show. Kyokan himself, would look almost hazy and seethrough, his form twisting and turn to the eyes before it'd slowly morph back into his normal look. "A fine show. Let's get this started." he said this with a bit of a lighter tone than he showed before, seeing that the Kold Demon was capable of keeping up with him in at least this unrestrained form. Seeing as he already used a bit of his energy to take the defensive against the large attack used against him, he'd take his hands out of his pockets and hold them close to his chest in a more offensive fighting stance. He'd leap towards the Kold Demon with a quick motion, aiming to connect a punch with his face to start off. His opponent showed no traces of fear and that was beginning to annoy Cygnus quite a lot. He wasn't like most of his race, but he still had some pride and to be looked down upon by a creature he didn't even know the race exactly was something he wasn't really able to take in well. He wanted to make him take things seriously - and perhaps even finish this fight, depending on how powerful his opponent truly was - by throwing his Super Crusher Ball. It was an extremely powerful attack, capable of defeating most of the average foe he usually faced. This guy had no stance, no fighting finesse. Cygnus wasn't any pro, he was barely skilled in the fighting style from the Planet Trade Organization - by his own fault - but he could clearly see that his own lousy stance was better than this guy's.
To his unfortunate surprise, the man's body got blurry and Cygnus' attack went right through him, causing no damage at all and breaking the floor of the arena where it hit it. "W-what?!" he exclaimed in shock, not believing his own eyes. At the very least the man was forced to take some form of fighting stance and he decided to start his own offensive, aiming to throw a punch to the Kold Demon's face, but he wouldn't let him have a free shot like that. Cygnus took a breathe and recovered his own composure, bracing himself for the attack to come.
Using the nimble movement of his small body, he took a couple steps back, moving his face out of the way and successfully dodging the assault from his opponent. "Hmph! You aren't that good! I can see through your attacks easily!" he exclaimed with a slightly annoyed expression. Then, by moving his tail in what he hoped was a surprise attack, he countered his opponent, aiming to throw him at the arena floor with the sweep.

Seeing the Kold Demon move out of the way so easily of his attack, Kyokan's face would move into a very slight smirk before turning to be more firm once again. He didn't like his fighting style to be mocked so easily, but at the same time, he was happy to meet at least somebody worth their stuff in this tournament. He was worried they'd all be flattened in a second. But still, it was very little to worry about for the time being. With that, Kyokan didn't give much of a remark back to the Kold Demon, before letting out a very slight grunt as he was taken surprise by the tail sweep that would easily knock him to the ground with a fierce thud. His opponent was far more skilled than he was, even his basic attacks like these had more force than the Gerodowr could muster. He'd have to swap his approach if he wanted to win this without using his full power.
With a quick movement, Kyokan would leap back up to his feet and get back into his hardly trained fighting stance. "You can see through my attacks? How long can that last, I wonder." the Gerodowr would offer this much, before lunging forward with another very untrained strike, aiming to hit the Kold Demon in the chest with a feint of sorts. This attack of course was primarily used to distract and hopefully harm his opponent with a quick strike, but this was all a set up for his signature move when not aiming to kill.
Not even an instant would pass from his last strike, and Kyokan's other fist would be aiming to strike Cygnus in his chest once again, from a setup of a one-inch punch. But when did he even have the time to set such a thing up on the Kold Demon? This, of course, was the Time Skip technique, secretly passed through his race for generations. It was a heavy doubt that anybody would know of this technique in this tournament, but he still knew that he had to use his time skip sparingly if he wanted to finish this Kold Demon off. He could have finished this fight in a single strike if he really wanted to power up, but that was the last resort for now. For the time being, he just had to see how the Kold Demon would handle being struck with this blow. It brought him great satisfaction to be able to hit the Gerodowr with his tail sweep. The impact against his legs was hard and he was feeling really good about that. "Not so nimble, I see! Ohohhohoho!" he laughed in excitement. Cygnus wasn't very much fond of fighting, but he had his eyes on the prize money and with that he would be able to continue to build up towards his goals. Without wasting much time, Cygnus used both his feet to propel his body towards Kyokan at about the same time as Kyokan got back to his feet. His words didn't really affect the Kold Demon who had a clear picture of this fight thus far. "Can't you see? Ohohohoh! You must be really foolish! But I'm winning!" he said with pride as he got his right clenched fist ready to strike his foe.
As Kyokan came to strike his chest, Cygnus decided he would tank the attack in order to have a better momentum and hit the Gerodowr at the same time. From what he had seen so far, he wasn't that good at fighting, so even though he would be taking some damage, it would pay off with the fact that his opponent would be far more injured by his attack. Kyokan's fist hit his chest while Cygnus' fist hit his jaw and the pain, as he had anticipated, wasn't all that great. Through the pain, he managed to crack a smirk and laugh again. "Ohohoho! See?! This is alrea... UGH!" his mockery was cut short when, out of the blue, he felt another hit in his chest, so powerful that he was pushed away from their clash, falling on his back at the arena titled floor.
"ARGH!" he gasped as he felt the shock of pain running through his body like crazy. It wasn't too much of a damage, but it was still considerable; what was fazing him so much was the sheer surprise of this attack. Where did it come from? When did he strike him? Was the attack better than he had anticipated and Cygnus just underestimated it? Was there a delay on the damage? But he was sure he felt it hurt a bit before. So many questions were hauting his mind right now, but one thing he knew for sure: he couldn't lay on the ground for long if he wanted to win this bout.
Pushing his body up with a back-flip, he landed back on his feet. His left hand touching his chest at the spot he had been attacked, his breathe laboured and an angered expression on his face. "So... You had a lucky strike! So what? I will make you pay for this!" he said, losing the cocky tone now.

It was a bit hard to keep too much of the excitement out of this fight, it wasn't very often that the Gerodowr could fight somebody that could give him a run for his money. And while it was a false sense of it here, due to not pushing out the full extent of his own power, he couldn't help but smile on the inside at the prospect of taking some form of battle damage. The strike that the Kold Demon connected with at the same time as Kyokan was incredibly fierce, causing the Gerodowr's head to reel back. But at some point between that connected strike and the follow-up pain that sent Cygnus pushed away, he had returned to a normal standing position to stare at his opponent. The feeling of making the opponent get a bit more aggressive was a wonderful one at times, but the Gerodowr kept his unmoving expression for a few short moments before offering a very soft smirk.
"I painted you the wrong way at first, you are far more skilled than I." he'd say this with a more respectful tone, as he was coming to enjoy this fight a bit more than he anticipated at first, it was incredible that the first round could give this to him. But his face would drop back into its more seriously plastered point as he moved back into his stance. "However, you won't beat me at this rate." with his point being made clear, Kyokan's eyes stayed locked onto his obviously angered opponent. He was hoping to see a bit more of this Kold Demon's fighting style before trying to go at him entirely. He had yet to use any of his more powerful signature techniques, which were made almost lethal with the Time Skip maneuver. Of course, he wouldn't go as far as to kill his opponent in a tournament such as this. There was a point to be made that he wanted to fight on even terms, technique and skill both on display. The Kold Demon obviously trumped the Gerodowr in the second category, but Time Skip was almost cheating in the first. Which held more weight?
After only a few seconds had passed, he'd break his pause by rushing towards the Kold Demon once more, aiming to strike him with an uppercut at the edge of his jawline. He knew that hitting his opponent with a weak attack like this wasn't going to progress much in terms of knocking him out, but any way he could push the Kold's aggression to give him a more intense fight was worth it to him. Seemed like this opponent of his wasn't that much of prick now that he was seeing Cygnus' true colours, and while it didn't help appease all of his anger, he felt way better for a second, before the Geordowr said that - regardless of the fact Cygnus was more skilled - he wouldn't be able to win this match. "What did you say?!" he exclaimed, arching one of his protrude brows only to frown it immediately afterwards, growling with his now gritted teeth. "You recognize I'm your superior and yet you mock me by saying I can't beat you?! We will see about that, you buffoon!" he barked as he got back into his fighting stance, waiting for what was about to come from Kyokan.
And as he had anticipated, his opponent took the initiative to attack once again. His goal was clear as daylight: he wanted to throw an uppercut at his jawline and there was absolutely no way he would allow him to take a free hit. The way Kyokan moved was a bit obvious to Cygnus and he had enough reaction speed to handle him well. With a quick back-step, he managed to put his body out of the way with quite a lot of skill. Then, Cygnus lowered his center of gravity by bending his knees and crouching. Then, he opened his palm, charging a purple-coloured energy sphere in his hand and aiming to hit Kyokan's guts with the ki blast and cause some damage, as well as to send him flying away.
He knew it wouldn't be enough to throw him out of the ring, but would be a good way to put some distance in between the fighters. Regardless of that, Cygnus would do a back flip, landing near the edge of the ring in order to put even more distance in between them. "I'm done playing games! I will win this fight no matter what. It has been a while since I had to unsuppress my power, but alas, here it is!" and as he said that, his chest pumped and enlarged, followed by his shoulders. His body doubled forward and his tail grew a lot, resting on the ground while his legs were still small. His facial features became harder and made him look older and more intimidating. His horns grew bigger and bent upwards. As his legs grew, his muscle mass also increased and his power grew four times.
"So... Feel like giving up yet upon seeing my Brute Form? There's nothing you can do now, you fool!" he announced, cracking a smirk with the corner of his mouth as the overconfidence grew within him. The gap in power was huge now, but little did he know his opponent was also holding back on his power.

It surprised the Gerodowr very little that his opponent moved to evade his strike. Once again, the gap in skill between the two was far too apparent. But doing that alone had allowed Kyokan to bolster his energy once again. What the Assassin didn't exactly plan for, however, was the blast of purple energy that would follow up the Kold Demons evasive maneuver. He barely had the time to actually move his hands into a block, negating a very minimal amount of the damage caused to him in the process. Pain swept over him in an instant as he'd go flying backward out of the resulting wave of smoke, causing him to slide to a halt on the arena ground to realign himself. It was a very minor setback, to say the least, but he was still able to make do with his current plans.
With a small motion, Kyokan spat out some blood and then wiped his mouth to get back up into a standing position. He listened over his opponents next words very carefully. Another small setback in his plans had surfaced, as the Kold Demon was supposedly suppressing his power the entire time as well, but the resulting form was something more monstrous than just a powerup. Kyokan's eyes widened very subtly, showing a small hint of a reaction to this sight, before just closing them promptly after. "I've met your kind before... but I did not know they could change like that. It is truly a terrifying sight..." the Assassin's eyes opened up slowly, moving his hands back into a fighting stance as he stared on towards the Kold Demon.
"Even so... I'll prove to you that my blows are not mere lucky strikes. Only then will I show you why I've already won." Kyokan's words sounded resolute and determined as if he truly believed that would be the case up against this titanic opponent. Once more, he would be the one to charge forward and try to deliver an attack. He was being reckless by not powering up to his limit already, but he still had something to prove to the Kold Demon. His hand was held up in an almost overly obvious faction, his hand poised for a running right hook to the jaw that was clearer than water. But for whatever reason the position his body was in changed drastically in the blink of an eye. Almost as if he had always been sending out this attack, Kyokan's fist would already be sending out the end of a one-inch punch directly to Cygnus' chest from such short range. This was the exact same move that was considered a 'lucky strike' previously, but this one had a bit more power behind it being sent directly into the Kold Demon's chest, and what was more, the strike was more well-aimed this time as it looked to wear down Cygnus' energy from his very core. Of course, whether this strike would pull through, it wasn't going to be too devastating a blow considering how strong the Kold Demon was now. But that certainly didn't stop the Assassin from trying to prove his point. He scoffed and smirked. "My kind has some special abilities. This is our suppressed forms. We have so much innate power that it's hard to control. That's why we suppress our power with lower forms in order to keep it balanced, so we don't kill people by accident." he explained, but not because he felt like he owned his opponent any sort of explanation, but because he wanted to intimidate him as to his potential, to make him doubt himself and make mistakes he could make use of, and the fact that he was hit by the attack and spit blood meant that his victory was closer now and that he had little to worry about. That one attack was out of luck and it wouldn't happen again.
But then again the creature was saying he had already won and Cygnus' smirk vanished, giving its place to an annoyed expression. "You still say you already won? Are you mad?" he asked, scoffing as he got back into his own fighting stance, waiting for his opponent to come. His movements were slower and not as refined, he wasn't a very skilled fighter and he would have it coming now. He was coming for an obvious hook to his chin and the Kold Demon got ready to intercept that with one hand and counter with a powerful hook to the gut, so he would double himself in pain, but before he could actually block the attack, the guy's posture changed immediately and Cygnus felt the sting of pain irradiating through his body. "ARGH!" he screamed as he was hit on the chest with a direct punch. The pain was so intense it made him lose his breath and fall to his knees, gasping for air.
He was now shaking and struggled to lift his head to stare at the opponent now staring down on him. Blood was running down his mouth, the purple blood of his kin and his eyes had a mix of disbelief and a little bit of fear. "H-ho...w?" and he could barely speak due tot he pain and the lack of air. He was left completely vulnerable due to this unexpected attack and he needed a second to recover before being able to do anything. This creature, even though Cygnus was now more than four times stronger, was still severely punishing him. This wasn't supposed to be possible. This was completely outrageous.

It seemed that Kyokan's attack was delivered in full force, causing him to immediately stare at his opponent who was driven to struggling to even look up at him now. The disbelief in his opponent's voice showed fully well that the Kold Demon had not yet learned the secrets behind Kyokan's move. The seeds were now sewn into his opponent that even with the dramatic increase in power, there were still ways to circumvent his ability. Kyokan had given his opponent a valuable lesson despite needing to learn such a lesson himself at some point. But he didn't have the time to sit around and delay the match any longer. There were more fighters to come after this match and they were likely itching to battle as well.
"Your skill was magnificent, take pride knowing that you were my superior." with his words being dull and flat, Kyokan's aura would flare up massively around him as his power rose dramatically. It layered on top of itself about eleven times over what he was previously putting out. The gap that the Kold Demon had placed before was not only closed but pushed in the opposite direction now. Despite the difference in power, Kyokan seemed entirely calm with pushing it all out. This was most likely his true power that he wasn't pushing out until now.
Drawing his fist back, Kyokan's form would change in the blink of an eye once more like all the other times, going from just preparing for a punch to slamming his fist against Cygnus' chest once more with incredible strength. A small shockwave would be sent out as if he was focusing all of the energy of his attack through one spot of Cygnus' chest, possibly wearing him down even further from the last attack. Once the possibly decisive blow was dealt, Kyokan would twist himself around to try and kick Cygnus square in the chest where he had struck him before. This combo was perhaps not lethal, but it was Kyokan's ultimate combination to attempt to push Cygnus out of the arena rather than having to drag the fight on any longer.
Though of course, the results would have to be seen. He couldn't really understand how this creature was being able to hit him in a way he couldn't anticipate or even understand. it felt like some mystical force was hitting Cygnus before he could even react. And how could one defend themselves against such a thing? There was no way this guy was a conventional fighter. His style seemed rather lacking - even from the standpoint of a guy like Cygnus, who was no master of the fighting arts - and yet he could overcome their difference in skill and severely punish the Kold Demon to the point of utter humiliation. He wasn't prideful like most of his kin, but damn he was still a Kold demon and he was in an arena, surrounded by weak creatures - cattle, even - so how could he allow himself to fall to his knees?
His crimson eyes were locked on his opponent as he slowly recovered the air on his lungs. His right foot once again touched the titled floor as he got ready to get up, only to freeze with the unleash of Kyokan's true power. So he was also holding back on his full power? His current power could rival Cygnus' true form and as things stood, he would have no other option rather than to rely on his unrestrained power. "Bastard... I will show you my true power then!" he announced in defiance, but before he could do that, his opponent acted once again, and once more the Kold demon was unable to react to it. He was completely overwhelmed as his opponent dominated the fight.
"ARGH!" The pain once again struck his chest and as he screamed in pain, his body was sent flying out of the arena, landing with his back on the grass in a loud thud. The attack was too much and he was now laying defeated outside the boundaries of the arena. His chest was burning in excruciating pain as he felt almost as if his bio armour and his bones had been completely broken. He was having a very hard time to breathe, but alas, thanks to the incredible resilience of his race, he didn't die like a weakling in front of the useless earthlings. Struggling, he managed to lift his torso enough so he could see his opponent, standing proud atop of him. "Y-you... B-bastard!" he cursed as he felt the bitter shame of defeat once more.

The words of the Kold Demon echoed through Kyokan's mind as he struck his opponent and sent him flying onto the grass out of bounds. Kyokan won this battle by the Earthling's means but his opponent was neither dead or unconscious. In a more true battle, his opponent would be able to power up just like he said and could have even turned the fight around. There was no fear in that defiant Kold Demon's voice when he said he would show his true power, so it could have been another form that could overshadow even Kyokan's full might. This fight was room to grow for the Gerodowr, and he knew it.
With a few paces towards the edge of the Arena to stare at his opponent, Kyokan offered a very slight smile. Not one of cockiness, but of respect. "I understand your feelings of malice, Kold Demon. But know you were one of the greatest fights of my life. For that, you have my respect. You've also shown me my weakness." Kyokan would look out towards the crowds that were watching them. Kyokan must have been a boring fight round to watch, nobody could even see the blows that he was primarily dishing out on his opponent, just the aftermath of intense speed. But he cared not for their entertainment, they set up this game and made the rules. And by those very rules, he was the victor, entertaining or not.
It seemed that the next set of contestants would be coming up now as well, the victor of this upcoming match would decide who he was going up against in the second set. At this point, the fights were no longer just about skill or power, you had to gather information. Hopefully, nobody knew Kyokan's secret in the crowd that could spread information about him. He needed every upper hand he could get if more powerful opponents were to come at him.
Nonetheless, victory was assured for the Gerodowr, so he began to take his leave, walking by the Kold Demon to stop once more. "My name is Kyokan, should we ever meet again." this was a brief exchange, but it meant a lot for the Gerodowr. His name was not thrown around lightly to people usually. And most people would not be allowed to live after a fight with him. So opponents learning his name was also very rare. Perhaps the Kold Demon would scoff at the idea of learning his name, and forget it in a heartbeat, but the importance there was still grand for the Assassin himself.
Without another word, Kyokan walked away from the arena to prepare for the next rounds he had to see for himself. WC: 459 TWC: 3294
But more awful than the taste of defeat itself was to be looking up at the one who bested you in front of a crowd of people, and to hear the very same person saying that he understood you, that he respected you, and that they learned with you. Cygnus gritted his teeth, his anger boiling up even more as he struggled to put himself back up. His bio-armour in the chest had been broken and now he had no option but to revert back to his more suppressed form in order to try and recover some of the damage by reconstructing the bio-armour of his chest. The attack was absurdly strong and yet he didn't know how it happened. It was annoying, infuriating, and yet there was nothing he could do about it, not anymore. He had to suck it up and leave this place, wearing the shame like a buffoons crown.
As he finally managed to put himself back to his feet, still with a laboured breathe, the Gerodowr passed by him, telling Cygnus his name and hoping that they would meet again. The Kold demon stared at him with the corner of his crimson eyes. "Next time we meet, I won't be falling so easily. I will show you the terror of my full power! And you won't be protected by the stupid rules of this tournament!" he was vengeful, and that was clear as daylight. Cygnus wasn't much of a fighter; he was more of a space-pirate and a businessman, but he was still a member of the powerful race from Planet Kold, and he wouldn't let a creature that lacked a proper fighting stance to best him for much longer.
Took him almost four centuries to realize this Universe held no soft spot for weaklings, and he could either bring his game up, or bend his knee to every single bastard that crossed his path. And he would choose the former. Without further endue, he flared his purple ki aura and flew away from the arena, leaving this place and this World Martial Arts Tournament behind him, but never forgetting the face of his new rival, Kyokan.
