Snakes and Secrets - Nasu/Koma/Tomo [Flashback]

Nasu clicked his tongue with Tomoroko's explanation as for why she kept the name. It didn't convince him enough, but he also wasn't so mad about it as he was when he first noticed who his younger - and actual true - brother was named after. The Komatsu from her past was a nobody to him and the only Komatsu that actually mattered to him was the one standing in front of Nasu, the one he could rely, the one he would often clash with, but the one who had been part of his life for most of it, his one, true kin. But Nasu wasn't irrational. He knew that the kid had no fault in any of this and to hear her asking for a him to give Tokibi a chance was something that gave him odd feelings. At one hand, he wanted to deny it so he could further punish her for it, on the other hand, blood was thicker than water and despite the circumstances, he was his brother just like Cambia was his sister and there was nothing he could do about it. Until the boy proved to be a hassle, or worthless, he was inclined to give him a chance, although he didn't like it in the slightest.

"Well, he is the one not a fault here at the very least. I can concede to your request... I will allow him to prove himself to me and I will give him the benefit of the doubt, just like I gave Cambia before. But be mindful that I'm not doing that for you!" and he roared at the end of his sentence, wanting to make it crystal clear that their relationship - mother and son - was still severely strained, and would be like that for quite sometime as Nasu wasn't one to let go of grudges easily. And it only made Nasu even more salty and irritated as she brought his father in the conversation, saying how much she missed him and loved him despite what she did. "I don't give a shit anymore to what you think of him or not. That's on you. But this..." he said as he pointed the the cross-shaped scar on his left cheek, quite similar to Natto's own. "I did it to myself when he died so I would never forget, so I would never yield. I may be quite the different person from him, and I may not abide by all of his ideals. But... I'm forever proud of who he was. With his flaws, his mistakes. I've learned from some of them. And unfortunately I can no longer say I'm proud of you..." he stated, coldly. "And while you do not deserve this... I will let you know something that I realized a while ago." he paused.

"He is most likely back here, in a way. The wish could restore everything, even people who got erased, so there was only one way he wouldn't be able to return... And that is if he got reincarnated. So... He is around, somewhere. Probably as a baby. If you want to find yourself some purpose, some atonement, even, there it is. Go look for him. If you love him so much as you claim, that is..." and with those words, Nasu turned his back on her and took a few steps away. Then, he glanced over to Komatsu. "Take care, Koma. You are a father now. I know you will be a good one. Better than me, at least..." he scoffed, cracking a smirk as he was reminded of how rough he was with Natsu most of the time, although he got slightly better as of now. "And mother. I will be leaving to conquer my Planet. I will be busy for the next couple of years and I think that's for the best. Use those years wisely. And after that, if you and Tokibi feel like visiting. I will consider you both allies. But unfortunately there will be no special treatment to either of you." he informed her.

And then, Nasu flared his ghostly-white aura and finally left the place, heading back towards where his Spaceships were getting ready to depart. His time on Namek had come to an end.
