Ranon
(From Ray + None)
Personality
Due to a mix of her upbringing and being a runt, Ranon is not as aggressive as most Ankoku. Sure, she may put up an act if she feels threatened, or might push someone around, but she's never outright aggressive - rarely ever attacking first, unless she has a reason to. Instead, Ranon relies more upon her wit to get by - being willing to (try) to talk her way thru a situation if the other seems willing to listen to her, or even outsmart an individual to get her way. She is also perfectly content to use shapeshifting to disguise herself to either seem more approachable, or to intimidate the other, oftentimes preferring the forms of other races that are around her size. Examples include a Supidoan, a Humungaloid, or even a Skulblaka - not that she’s aware of them not really existing on U7.
She's overall a somewhat ambitious and rambunctious but quick witted individual who recognizes the value in a good friend, and cooperation with others to get by. She is amicable if she thinks she'll get along with someone, and is otherwise respectful even if she doesn't - though with Ankoku being a mostly independent species, she tends to be a little awkward at times with certain forms of sociality. She, additionally, tends to be hard to hold back in the event she does end up flying into a rage, as rare as it may be.
She's content to spend her day doing what she needs to do to get by, still as much of a survivalist as she was from hatching - though simply with a different coat of paint. She doesn't tend to have a desire to go beyond the life of a bounty hunter-slash-bodyguard, except to get stronger - which, of course, aids in her job. She's a simple reptile-woman with simple needs - and is content as long as she has a roof over her head at night, and a nice slab of meat to wake up to in the morning; though she won't say no if presented with the opportunity to indulge herself in something.
She appreciates strong and tough individuals, but seems to have a particular fondness for those who value knowledge, perhaps due to her upbringing. Konatsians tend to have an easier time befriending her as well, due to them reminding her of her technically-adoptive-father, and she is more than willing to sit down and have a talk with those she likes. The idea of settling down somewhere has occurred to her before, though she is disinterested in it - deep down enjoying appealing to those ingrained hunter instincts of hers, be it thru fighting as a bodyguard, sparring with others, or tracking someone down as a bounty hunter.

Appearance
Standing at about 9'1'' and weighing around 418 pounds, Ranon is massive - towering over most individuals, even if she is on the small and runty side by Ankoku-seijin standards. Her thick skin is a dark azure blue in color, and her eyes are an orangish-red, with the spikes and claws typical of an Ankoku being a dark reddish-brown in color and the tiniest bit below average size. Her build is somewhat typical as well - though her muscles are lean as opposed to bulky, being built for dexterity and speed equally as much as it is built for strength. Being reptilian, she bears little to no visible characteristics that distinguish her from a male of her species, and her monstrous shape makes it rather difficult to wear anything - not that she really tends to anyways.
Aside from general body type and clothing (or lack thereof) though, she does bear a few identifying features - namely, her lower left spike is halfway broken, and her upper left spike is somewhat cracked, but still hanging on. Her teeth are a little more larger and prominent than a normal Ankoku's, leading to her having a slight snaggletooth, and she also bears some light scarring just to the left of where her jugular would be. Finally, she appears to be slightly impaired in her right eye - bearing cataracts from an old injury.
Biography
Having been born a runt, Ranon's childhood was shaped a little differently than most Ankoku from the start. Forced to fend for herself like any other newborn Ankoku, she was easily pushed around and overpowered by her larger more developed siblings in squabbles over food - especially in the early days, while she still lingered near the nest she was hatched from. Instead of relying on strength, she was forced to rely more on wit and speed to get by - often hiding the meals she caught, and outsmarting - or even stealing and fleeing from - other larger ankoku to get her meals. As a result of this, she grew clever - recognizing the value in relying on more than just muscle to survive.
As she got older, approximately at the age of adolescence - she found herself face to face with a large ship, full of people who had come to study and explore her planet. Curious, and feeling somewhat bold, she would end up sneaking up onto the ship as they were beginning to wrap up their expedition - and though she was able to avoid detection initially, she was discovered awhile after they had departed her planet.
Being less aggressive than her larger brethren (though still cautious about letting any of the others near her), she drew the curiosity of the other researchers and explorers on the ship. Thus, with the promise of food and a cleared out room for her to hide in, they took her in - studying her, and teaching her, as she was practically still a child at her age. She was able to learn their tongue, and over time, grew more comfortable around other individuals - though her wit still proved to make her a bit of a troublemaker at times. It was thru this upbringing that she was able to learn the value in relationships, as well as learn to use her Ki, and adapt to more modern life.
Even as people came and went from the group with each expedition as Ranon grew, one particular researcher remained - and as a result, she found herself looking up to them as the closest thing she had to a parental figure, not that she really understood the concept of one. This researcher was an elderly Konatsian, who wanted to spend his last years in gathering and spreading knowledge. She was oftentimes inseparable from him whenever he'd leave the ship, being there to protect him from any danger she could, and would spend part of her days on the ship with him - asking questions, and trying to help with any heavy lifting. Even if she was a runt, her strength was still impressive compared to the old man's own.
However, as old as he was, it was inevitable that age would eventually take him - and when it did, much of the individuals in the expedition group were mostly unfamiliar to her, acquaintances at best. Instead of lingering with those that she was unsure of, Ranon would set off on her own - to find a place in this world for herself. She'd eventually find herself gravitating to the role of a vigilante or mercenary; taking jobs as a bodyguard for others, and hunting down criminals with bounties on them to bring them to justice. It was like this that she was able to get by for a time, at least... until the inevitable erasal of Universe 4.
Before she knew it, Ranon would've - for all intents and purposes - died, only to almost as quickly come back, yet in an unfamiliar place. She had been revived by the wish of another, not that she'd know that - from her perspective, the most she could really comprehend was that she was somewhere new, somewhere strange... Though it wouldn't take long before she'd adapt anew; as to today picking up jobs all the same, as she tries to figure out what had happened in the grand scheme of things...
Extras
- Eats primarily meat and energy of course; but actually kind of likes sour foods like lemons.
- Doesn’t realize that Skulblakas aren’t actually in Universe 7, cause she usually uses the form of one to intimidate, not to converse.
