Liari's eyes fluttered open, her arms... empty. She lay within the interior of her ship, curled up on the floor of the gravity hall, staring blankly at the interior bulkhead with her silver eyes... For several minutes, she didn't even remember where she was, what her purpose here was nor even what her NAME even was... She just... it was like an old computer booting up for the first time in a decade. But slowly... surely, memories began to bleed back, the little blue majin's lips curling downward into a frown. Oh... that's right... the Tournament of Power. That wasn't something she wanted to wake up too... The deathly stakes, the stupid reason for having it at all... A nightmarish battle-royal where everyone fought for the sake of existence itself! It wasn't even their lives... Liari remembered that this was a death worse than the punishments of hell: Non-existence. She had no idea what had happened in that fight... She had... checked out more or less, her mind just not ready to handle the horror. One could even say it was a coma of sorts, leaving Liari little more than a vegetable... only awakening in modern day...
"Wait..." She whispered, shooting up, staring around the room. "...Terra...?" Instantly, the majin shot up, blasting around the entire top floor in a matter of seconds, her silver eyes absorbing every last detail for any trace of her daughter. It seemed that even after years of not training, her speed hadn't degraded much.
"Terra!? TERRA!" She hollered, her voice touching every ounce of the ship, only a second behind her real self. "Terra, baby, where are you!?" No response... Nothing but the cold creaking of ancient steel. the metal of this ship had long since rusted away in the majin's sleep, her negligence allowing it to become a barely-functioning hunk of junk. She could smell the rotting food from the fridge down stairs, a ripe, repulsive odor of rancid meat and milk but she cared NOT for such things! Such a concern didn't even register on her radar!
"TERRA! PLEASE! ANSWER ME!"
....
Silence.
Liari came to a slow, grinding halt as her legs gave out from underneath her. She curled up into a ball, her forehead pressed against the floor of the ship as she felt a deep, cavernous hole cut through her chest... No one could see it... for it wasn't physically there but she could feel it just the same.
"Terra...." She sobbed softly. "Where are you...."
