'Guard the ship, Pup, he says. What does he take me for?' The ultra-high tech space craft would seem shockingly out of place parked outside of Earth's East City, ditto for the Saiyan hybrid sitting on top of it staring idly at the sky as he allowed his ki sense to do most of his guarding for him. If Zyahe hadn't felt ill at ease here before the way that the few people he'd seen reacted to the profile of his armour made it pretty clear this wasn't anything like his home any more. Saiyans he knew from personal experience all looked largely the same to an Earthling who had no truck with interstellar affairs, with even their armour types not sufficient to separate the one from the other. In light of that he just hoped that word wouldn't spread and draw a crowd, seeing as how avoiding crowds of drightened Earthlings had been something like the driving force in his life as of late.
Sighing he leaned back and gazed up in to the sun, keeping his senses poised and at the ready to determine any threat before it came too close. He imagined even doing this that Beat would berate him for slacking off. Apparently there was a chamber in the ship where he could train, which due to certain circumstances during their trip he hadn't seen much of. He didn't feel like it though, small wonder that the Ambassador had left him here if he was going to be this melancholy and demotivated the whole trip. At the very least he supposed it was a nice day to be on watch, for one thing it wasn't raining, if it were he'd be stuck inside listening to it pound incessantly on the ship's hull, as it was he was just stuck waiting for something else to rain down on him.
That thought made him uncomfortable, so much so he had to sit up again and be an attentive guard dog at... least... ah, that was it, he was being lampooned after all. 'Oh man... I really am the dog, aren't I?' Not being at all amused by Beat's slow burning practical joke he dismounted the ship from where he'd been perching and made for the access ramp. If there really was nothing to worry about then there was no need sitting out here like... well like a sunbathing worm. Zyahe had only set one foot on the entrance ramp, however, when he suddenly sensed something which gave him pause and caused him to look back. Had something escaped his notice? Crept up on him until now? Or had it simply come on so fast that he'd been unable to perceive it until it was already this close by? None of those thoughts were particularly comforting but he found he could do nothing more than linger in the entry way of the Ambassador's vessel. Waiting and wondering with bated breath.
It seemed that this joke might just be the true kind since it certainly wasn't the funny kind.

"Why are you talking to yourself like that? People gonna think you're crazy you know?" a boy, far too well built--actually pretty much hulking for Earthling standard asked Zyahe. It's rare to see them fly around here but what he pulled is pretty much a dead pterodactyl. He lifted it like it's the easiest thing ever. "Do you want to help me butcher it or something? It's pretty much for our dinner," Tetsu would say. "We'll also drain its blood and all of that stuff. But I guess if you don't have the stomach I'll just leave this to Aoi. Ooooi! Someone in control room call Aoi here! The dinner is here!"
A blue haired girl immediately came over. "Ah, Tetsu, nice catch! This should be... I guess it'll be barely enough hah hah..."
"I know right? But at the very least it should help somewhat," Tetsu replied. The girl then asked him to carry it to the cargo bay... most likely to be butchered. The ship is way too big in a way, as its maximum capacity is sixty person, but only eight can have the best facility. Not that anyone would complain to be honest. Tetsu would then come out again to meet Zyahe. "So, sup? You're not really alone, you see. I'm told to guard it too. As fellow Aniki's disciple, let's get along... ah... eh... what's your name again? Zinger?" Tetsu asked, obviously only remembering the Z. "Name's Tetsu. I'm Aniki's first disciple. I heard a bit of you from Aniki. He called you Pup, huh. I guess it's just part of his strange quirk He seem trying a bit too hard to adopt the drill sergeant personality you know. He's usually not like that. More chill and relaxed..."
But suddenly the boy's gaze looked far away "...he's goddamn spartan though. In these two years I thought I would end up as a normal looking kid, you know... Probably just muscular, like, teensy bit, but Aniki never really satisfied with how I grew. I didn't either. But in the end we agreed that we kinda make it overblown..." Tetsu pointed at his own body. "I'm living proof that his training works, so... don't be too worried about it doesn't make any sort of effects to you. You'll be a great warrior before you knew it. So, all thing considered, wanna train with me? Probably it's better than just sitting here doing nothing." WC: 410
How he'd not seen or felt the young Human approaching before now was somewhat lost on Zyahe, especially seeing as how he was hefting a giant dead dinosaur at the time. For quite a time he could do no more than stand dumbstruck at what had just presented itself before him, even as the youngster proceeded up to the ship ahead of him he just followed along with his eyes, not saying a word the whole time. Good thing too seeing as how dino-butchery was not something he was keen to add to thee extensive repertoire of menial labour his training with Beat had involved thus far. Thankfully by the time the youth, who handily identified himself as Tetsu, made it back he was feeling a touch more talkative.
'Aniki? Oh, right...' It was a term of endearment that Zyahe had heard a number of times before on Earth, usually when he'd had to work less than strictly scrupulous security jobs, but he guessed that it was more widely used than just that. He had certainly never expected to hear of it being used between a human and a Saiyan. The rather obvious evidence that Beat represented aside, he never really expected any term of endearment to be passed between Human and Saiyan. That was rather the point of them all being here, he supposed. 'It's Zyahe,' he corrected the young Human, only noticing then, since the huge dead pterodactyl had been kind of drawing focus from it earlier, just how young he actually was. Now fair enough, they were on a diplomatic mission and it was to the lad's own home world, but Zyahe wasn't sure he really liked the idea of someone so young fighting with them. Whatever impressive musculature or ki he possessed, there were factors to consider other than raw strength when it came to things like this.
As he said, even though he wasn't terribly experienced at it or didn't seem to be, Beat's method of drilling seemed to bear fruit. Zyahe actually smiled recalling how hard Beat had leaned in too the persona when they had first met and the... interesting way that he had deployed it back then.
Which did nothing to make it any less surprising and disconcerting when Tetsu asked whether he would want to train with him. Zyahe's eyes widened in obvious shock and he was stuck for words a few moment before finally blurting out: 'No,' while that was his overbearing feeling he hadn't meant to leave it hanging unqualified and risk causing offense. 'That is... uh, I would prefer not to given... well you're very impressive, as you said. It's just it wouldn't feel right what with me being so much older than you is all. Sorry.'

Tetsu raised his eyebrow questioningly. At first, he wondered what on Earth is this guy so spaced out about. "Hm? Oh, it's Zyahe, huh, nice to meet you." For some reason, Tetsu wrote the name of the guy on his own palm thrice before nodding. "I'm bad at remembering names, sorry about that."
...And that's where the situation just... deescalated so quickly. Tetsu listened to the young man and from his expression, at first it looked like he have no idea what to say. Perhaps the guy was a bit out of it, tired from jet lag or something so he was about to suggest some other thing but... Tetsu's eyes squinted dangerously as he glared at the older guy. Veins starting to pop on his body. If looks can kill, they Zyahe probably have been ripped apart for ten times over. "...Oi, what's the not right in your book, bub? Is that really a way to speak to your superior? The Saiyans sent their babies to be out there at three to conquer planet. I'm nine, race be damned, do you think I gave a fuck? I'm as warrior as any of them out there. I joined the remnants because I want to help, but this is seriously the first time someone refused. You better have a damn good explanation as of why... If it's just because of pride then screw it. Aniki's disciple shouldn't have that measly amount of pride. That sort of fragile pride should not even be worth to be called saiyan's pride. If it's just because of how young I am..."
He would grab a nearby tree and then uprooted it so easily, the slung it on his back like it's a weightless club. "...Then you seriously going to regret it. Ages means nothing for warrior. If you keep that sort of view then you gotta cut that crap out. I'm not letting you off easily either. Start talking now."
...If there's anything that the disciple and teacher share, it's their short temper when not being treated like how they want to be treated.
So obviously misrepresenting and falling over himself was just Zyahe's thing at this point, waving his hands frantically as though to deflect Tetsu's biting words he began to explain himself as best as he could, looking on aghast as he did so. If misunderstandings of this kind were his thing it seemed as though deforestation was the thing which Beat's crew did. Always with the lifting trees. 'N-no! That's not it at all, Tetsu! Honestly I never really understood that whole “Saiyan pride” thing myself so...eheheh.' Trailing off in to nervous laughter he dropped his hands and finally looking at Tetsu dead on his face grew significantly darker.
'Look, I don't know whether Beat told you about me or not, but I'm honestly not that good at controlling my power yet, so...' As though he didn't even wish to give voice to the possibility he had tailed off in his explanation, but since Tetsu was still wielding a tree he seemed largely unconvinced. Gritting his teeth he glanced back over his shoulder at the silhouetted East City in the distance before returning his attention to Tetsu. 'I just can't. Forget race, forget pride, forget power, this exact situation is why I left Earth in the first place.' It was tempting to just cave right then and there, as he clenched his fists in anticipation of an attack the young hybrid could already feel a telltale thrum in the back of his head. Something wild, something dangerous, something that made the hairs of his body stand on end and an insidious chill run down his spine. Something which was altogether unlike him and something which wanted to get out.
No matter what Tetsu said though, it did matter, it mattered to him. Limits and boundaries were the way he knew he was still himself and if the Remnant expected him to cast all of that aside well, perhaps he had made a mistake in seeking them out in the first place. What was for sure though was that it was no mistake to have left this planet, a world made of glass practically designeed to stress him out. 'I'm not about to fight you, Tetsu,' he said finally. He straightened up, his muscles relaxed as he un-bunched his fists, suddenly oddly calm. 'That's just how it is.'
He hadn't been that far off making his way towards East city. While this planet was a more free place compared to other great planets he still tended to learn and attempt to keep out of the direct spot light. His kind didn't always make people feel that safe when they were around. This saddened him but he tried when he could to keep from upsetting or provoking the common mob. It was easier to allow them to approach him then vice versa at least in most cases. A bag slung over his shoulder and a small walking stick had been digging small spots into the ground as he made his way calmly along the dirt roads where he was. He'd spotted the ship a ways off and had thought he'd pass by curious of who may have been arriving or departing from this world. Seeing a ship simply parked outside of the city was a bit odd. Most parked such vessels in specified places or kept them hidden more further out into the wastelands. Something about that curious saiba nature made it just to hard to ignore for the moment. He straightened up his clothes and decided to take a closer look.
Of course once he actually got close enough he saw what looked like a fight brewing. Or ending? He wasn't quite sure as one of them just seemed to calm themselves or relax rather then tense up. The other a small one but holding a tree up heaved from the earth. Saibacus gulping lightly but taking a light frown to his lips at the unneeded demise of the once healthy tree. But even still he approached as from the looks of it one of these folks didn't really seem to want to fight if he was taking it at face value. A rather loud whistle would cut through the air as he made himself known by its sound first before stopping merely a few yards away giving a light nod as crimson eyes looking them both over for the briefest of moments.
"Forgive my intrusion... Couldn't bother you for some water could I? Its been a long trek this far and I still have a way to go before reaching the city." He'd say calmly looking towards the man who seemed more calm in the moment. Perhaps attempting to defuse the situation with his calm request and harmless demeanor. He hoped they wouldn't be too taken back by his appearance. Gripping his walking stick tightly in hand though he was prepared if anything sparked off. Although he hoped it wouldn't come to that. He leaned lightly towards the side supported by the walking stick a smirk that curved up the side of his cheek in a cheeky grin. Looking as had some secret or was about to crack some joke.

"Hmph, not knowing what is saiyan pride? That's ridiculous. Looks like Aniki haven't taught you all that much. Listen carefully, are you ever ashamed to be yourself? To be what you are? Saiyan pride is to be prideful of what you own, of what you are. To honor your parents, to be happy to be born like how you are is part of the pride. Pride of being a saiyan isn't a pride for being able to toss a punch or recklessly charging into battle, that's not saiyans. Saiyan pride embodies courage, the desire to improve, the tenacity of the saiyans. It's the same like a warrior having his own pride and ethics. Are you happy of your strength? Are you passionate about your growth? That's all it meant to be battle race, the saiyans.
And Aniki did tell me. So? You think you can beat me...? Or you're afraid that I'll be see unsightly side of yours? Afraid of brutalizing a kid? I'll be that guy who gone with the logic of elimination and guess that it's latter. Remember what Aniki said? To control that, you need to get there and fight it. To control it you need to be stronger, both physically and metally. You think that he's merely talking shit and just want you to be eternally uncomfortable with yourself? To drill it over and over again how scary you are? Bitch please. He want to help you, and he's doing this because it's the best way to do it. Do you want to be forever locked in your own insecurity? Do you want to be forever locked in that image of 'I'm a bloodthirsty monster'? That's exactly what I'm talking about. If you have pride, then you don't want to. As it is however, your ego is frail. You're afraid of losing yourself, even when you're presented with the presence of someone stronger than you to control yourself, to stop you from going overboard. None of us would judge you, and all of us are strong enough to stop you. What's stopping you is your own self. Your mind instinctively says 'this is wrong', and you're missing the bigger picture. This is what Aniki want to fix. He want you to be ready. He want you to not repeat the same mistake as he does when he transformed."
Tetsu tossed the tree aside and flew toward the deck of the ship. "Plus you're a strange one. Training doesn't have to be fighting. For all you know I could be just offering you simple training like weightlifting and running in gravity machine. Do you seriously think that all people like us only think about fighting? Hmph, nevermind. Let my word sink in. No one of us want our comrade to lost himself. All of us want them to be happy and proud of what they could do. So don't make me repeat myself and spout that sort of nonsense again. Ask yourself why you can't control your own power instead of 'I can't control it yet'. If you keep telling yourself that you're unhinged, then you'll always be unhinged. If you keep telling yourself that you're weak then you are weak. Now if you keep telling yourself that you are strong... Then you are strong."
And at that time... he sensed a ki from a strong source. "Newbie, get over here quickly," he would order Zyahe. The newcomer... revealed himself to be some sort of alien? Hmn. "...Water is it?" Tetsu would took one of his own and tossed it to the figure. "What do you want, stranger? Never seen your species before---wait, no, that's not right... You're Saibaman aren't you? What one doing so far here?"
Usually when Saiyans mentioned training it almost certainly meant wailing on one another, which as had been suggested Zyahe was keen to avoid, however Tetsu was not a Saiyan and the Ambassador to whom they were both attached on this mission was not entirely usual. As such quite a great deal of what the young human had to say cut fairly close to the bone but before he would have any decent chance to respond; and the moment was drawn out as he tripped over the words in his head, Tetsu indicated he should ready himself. Zyahe tensed suddenly, being caught off guard for the second time that day, especially with Tetsu close by he hadn't expected there to be even a potential threat but here they were again.
Looming behind Tetsu he straightened his back and squared his shoulders, to someone who didn't know him very well he might even have looked the image of an imposing Saiyan warrior he was trying to project, armour and all. Despite that he could feel already the slight tremble in his bones and something a little more than anxiety pulling at the very back of his consciousness, like it was riding the insistence of his fight-or-flight response. His ki fluctuated while this went on, at once high and then low again, ebbing and flowing as though bulging up against a barrier.
That is until their 'guest' made himself known, as a somewhat jovial looking little green man of all things. Less what humans of the past might have imagined aliens to look like but the biology was there. Zyahe couldn't help but let the tension wash out of him, taking the creature somewhat at face value as he looked on, confused as to what exactly he should make of this-- what was this thing exactly?
Luckily Tetsu had a suggestion as to that and the pieces slid in to place from there.
'It is, uh, I mean he is.' Zyahe affirmed whilst peering at the creature from behind Tetsu. 'It is 'he' isn't it?' Unsurprisingly the question as to whether Saibamen had or even recognized the concept of gender had never come up in his formative years. After the couple of days that he'd been having probably better at this point just to ask rather than be putting a foot in his mouth right off the bat. WC: 395 TWC: 1620
He caught the water skin with relative ease but fumbled it lightly nearly dropping it in the after effect. A lazy eye might of saw him as clumsy but a more keen eye would realize he was simply trying to keep his claws from accidentally cutting open the skin or popping it. But in a manner of mere moments he had a grip on it. He listened to the small ones words as he downed the water into his mouth quickly and with great haste. The cool refreshing sensation of the sweet water gave him life once again before he finally lowered it to his side. The saiyan had quickly thrown it to him and not expected him either so it wasn't like he expected any ill doing to have been done to it before hand.
He let out a satisfied gasp as if to say he truly enjoyed the refreshing treat chuckling at the boy who seemed truly surprised once things starting coming together as he tried to figure out Saibacus who stood before him. "One might ask the same for so many that come wondering. But truly would the answers make much difference?" He'd say chuckling at the boy and drinking a bit more water as he pondered the idea of why'd he come from so far. "My young boy... Most people live their who lives in one little corner of the galaxy and never get to see any of it... Let's just say I don't want to be most people." He said with a light chuckle as he began to slowly make his way over. his boots kicking up a bit of dust on the dry earth bellow as he did. His walking stick held firmly in one of his hands digging into the ground supporting him as well as he sauntered slowly and casually across the ground.
He chuckled heartily as the one stayed behind the other boy. He couldn't help but wonder if he really set them off so quickly? He found it almost amusing hence why he couldn't truly stifle his laughter. He'd stop leaving plenty of space between them at least so they could breathe more easily. A smile on his face as crimson eyes watched them rather closely. "Ji tchi chial rhar sheer? Chorah Nashis Ji Shratar?" He'd say briefly and humorously in his own tongue ever so briefly. "Rather defensive it looks like... An you may call me he yes. My name is Saibacus though." He'd say as a matter of factly in tone. Sorta of putting a but of a stern notion on it. Given so far they definitely seemed a bit unsure on how to act around him just yet.

A Saibaman, in Earth. Tetsu had no idea if there are any saibamen used in Namek by the Remnant Alliance, but probably not. They're most likely replaced by drones and robots both for labors and for training purpose. Saibamen born from the Remnant Alliance probably now equals to zero after a lot of trade with various other planets. Technologies are imported, a lot of shop are modernized, along with those come the training and the armory no longer looking like how a saiyan traditionally do their own training and whatnots... so he guess this one came from other faction. What's confusing though is the fact that he spoke so clearly for a saibaman. The record said that Saibaman have knowledge level of at least a newborn child, and probably as much as a really smart dog with speech capability. However, this one proven that they're almost sentient. How he'll proceed, Tetsu have no idea...
"...It wouldn't, you came here and that's all that's important. However, I request you to stay away at least fifteen meters away from the ship. It has nothing personal, but unauthorized personnel must abide to this rule unless permitted by the second in command, and that's me, or one even higher than me, my boss, to approach closer to Van Eltia." Albeit, his answer is confusing. For it to gain sentience and not to mention sapience to this level... The awareness of this individual is astounding. At this point, there would be no difference of him with any other races. Truly, a creature out of this world.
"You doesn't look much older than me either," Tetsu shot back, yet there is no malice or agitation in his voice, merely a cheeky jab "being called young boy is a bit unpleasant. I'm a warrior first and foremost." Tetsu might looked slightly dumb, or muscle head, and Tetsu wouldn't mind if anyone think so, because first impression is definitely defining people's perception... and the impression that he gave at the moment? Probably sounds like a huge guard dog. By Earthling standard he's different than the rest, being as beefy as a saiyan, or even more even... but even so, Tetsu is a second in command exactly because he's not as dumb as he looks.
"...Well, you're coming to some place where a really huge ship is parked, and the fact that you're no mere saibaman either would alert someone. With that level of intelligence I wouldn't even surprised if you're suppressing yourself. You can't blame us for being defensive, especially when you came out of nowhere," Tetsu answered to the Saibaman. "...Name's Tetsu, this guy behind me is... I guess he's a subordinate. Zyahe is his name. Now that I have gave you water, is there is anything else that you want?"
As if deflating, all of the tension seemed to go out of Zyahe when the Saiba introduced itself, to him at least it didn't seem as though he was going to be a threat. Tetsu seemed less convinced of this but at the end of the day he was right, they did have a job and they were part of a hierarchy. It didn't necessarily follow then that every interloper was to be treated as an immediate threat which was why Beat was allowing him to use his judgment in the first place. This of course he kept to himself but it didn't mean that he couldn't try to bring Tetsu around to being a bit less... Tetsu? Zyahe had only just met him but the name seemed oddly appropriate under the circumstances.
There was something terribly disarming about Saibacus' lack of pretense, he spoke free and easy despite the fact that Tetsu pretty obviously considered him a potential threat, chuckling and weaving his way through the difficult, prickly situation the three had found themselves in. Zyahe liked him almost immediately. Being surrounded by his own kind was no bad thing but a lot of the Saiyans he'd met other than Beat spoke and acted as though there were something other than a tail protruding from their backside. That Tetsu would behave this way on his native planet where he ought to assumedly be most at ease did make Zyahe wonder how high strung he might be in an actually hostile environment.
'If he's been traveling a while he probably just wants to talk,' Zyahe chimed in, not wishing the situation to escalate. Zyahe himself had wandered around a lot looking for work and coming back in to civilization he'd always struck up a conversation with pretty much the first person he'd clapped eyes on... or at least the first one that didn't recoil at the sight of his tail. The appendage in question shifted around his waist as he became consciously aware of its presence; Saiyans used Saibamen for training dummies didn't they? Maybe Tetsu's wariness was not entirely unfounded. Awkwardly he shifted his gaze from the affable Saibaman and did not look back even as he addressed him again.
'So then, Saibacus, best guess is that you're not native and you're not exactly what I would've expected from a Saibaman. Where have you traveled from exactly?'
He couldn't help but eventually let out a chuckle laughing at their intense emotion. They seemed so weary if not worried about such minor things. His chuckle would last a good three or four seconds before he stifled it wiping a single a tear from his eye with his forearm after. "You know the ship is also parked right next to a rather large city. In equal respects a couple of saiyans parking such a vessel so close could garner just as much attention as little ol me approaching it. I suppose neither of us are very subtle in this instance." He'd say in a bit of wit as he chuckled again making humor of the boy. Leaning on his walking stick as the ware of the road still had him a bit tired from the long journey to this point.
"Also yes I am just a 'mere saibamen' as you put it. I get the feeling you haven't met many of my kind beyond the new borns your people often use then murder without much of a second thought. But I assure you my people have capabilities given time you wouldn't believe young one." He'd say again with a light snicker and a curved grin as if he knew something the boy didn't. There weren't many out there but there was a few. It was a handful of secrets he guarded closely waiting for a chance for it to actually be able to be helped and of more importance.
He nodded towards the older saiyan as this one seemed to have a bit more cooperative or at least open to conversation. It was a nice change of pace from the strange if not at times dangerous reactions other often chose to take when dealing with him. People often were very quick to judge and didn't care for things that didn't fit their idea of the norm and average. "I've been around, I was originally born on Namek but I've gotten around since then. I often find many people assume allot when talking to me. Its a shame most just see others like me as disposable. I've read quite a bit and I noticed it wasn't that long ago some were hunting your kind as well. I would have thought some of your people would become more sympathetic to our plight after experiencing that but I doubt most would change their views easily if at all." Speaking calmly but trying not to offer any disrespect. He simply spoke plainly as well as directly as the conversation turned.
