After the whole Imposter on issues that happen and the Great ape sim training, he had with that saiyan girl. Garick had noticed that he was lacking an important skill that put him at a massive disadvantage and that the ability to be able to sense ki. Garick knew the only way he was going to be able to learn this skill was either someone taught him it or learned himself.
Garick would decide to learn it on his own as learning things was never Garick kind of thing. Which led to Garick coming up with some ideal of what he had to do to achieve this skill 'I know, I got keep power up...no That makes no sense' Garick would keep coming up with all sort of ideas, but when he took proper good thought about it they would not make any sense leading him to go back to square one.
Until it finally hit him as he realizes 'I got it If I want to achieve this skill Than I need to focus on opening up my mind to the presence of my power. But how do I do that...' Garick pounders as he tries to come up with something with him remember something about a thing some people would do to focus their mind, which was called meditation he thinks. 'Okay, so all I need to do is sit down with my legs in crossed position than what.' as he was think to himself Garick get into his meditating position with him taking off his armour but he would leave on his two weight armbrace seeing no point taking those things off.
'Okay, Garick just focus your mind and try to let feel the energy around you' Garick would repeat to himself 4 times in a row as he tries his best to focus his mind with the next 2 hours was him sat down on the floor in his house doing nothing. Yet sadly nothing would happen even after his 2 hours of meditating with it only really irritating him just as he got ready to get out of his meditating position, Garick would begin to feel a weird sensation as he could feel all the ki outside his house but to Garick surprise he would feel some incredibly strong levels of power coming from all corners of the capital with Garick even falling down to his knees as he notices just how below he was.
"Incredible..." Garick says as he feels completely shocked yet amazed at the same time with him even more motivated than before to push his strength further beyond his current level of strength with Garick promising to himself on that spot that he would gain the power that will surpass all powers even the power of a super saiyan no, matter what it took with Garick having no clue, what such a difficult task he had just committed himself to.
