The Tournament of Power was just now a distant memory left over in whatever sort of flow the time followed and years passed. Among the people that returned home and those who didn’t, there was one in particular who hadn’t returned. The Saiyan man who had taken his leave with the golden dragon and left off for no one knew where. Time passed and not a single whisper was heard about the Earthling Saiyan.
In many ways, though, things did not change drastically. Rather, the flow of life continued and even the people he held most dear moved on with their lives. Including his daughter, who was always busy in her own stuff now.
How far had things changed? Honestly, who knew? But rather, how the world would have altered from now on was perhaps the most interesting question. In the tranquility of the New Earth and its peaceful ambiance, though, not everyone ought to stay the same. Not all was meant to remain balanced, but rather, soon an event was incoming. Something was arriving, or to be precise, someone.
Just as the shadow of a particular, solid figure ever so slightly came closer as its size increased and at long last, finally parted through the pure, bright clouds— clashing through them as the individual emerged in a shiny new outfit, but familiar traits. Now, the man spun around in the skies, flying at high speeds that pierced through any human perception— almost unable to be seen but as air brushed through his hair locks that danced with the song of the beautiful winds of the planet, finally announced the man’s new times to come.
“Woohoo!”
A loud exclamation of the warrior’s excitement. It was just not the feeling of a new adventure or exploration for how many years the man had spent on this planet, but rather, just the nostalgic sensation of a long lost homeworld and perhaps humanity that he had almost lost the touch of given his long absence.
Once the figure finally danced through the scenario and allowed lakes and ice alike to reflect his image, perhaps a better view of the individual would finally be allowed but rather for those who used to know him, they wouldn’t find a great difference other than a change in attire. A ‘must’ given he had to totally trash his old outfit.
It was incredibly hilarious but at the same time, perhaps scary just how much damage it had endured during the battles. Not even in years could the man recall ever getting so bare nude before— other than in a certain war, where literally his outfit on the top reduced to nothing but his torso. He had to say, though, it was totally justified because of some strong fellows and their weird techniques. It was because of that guy...—Jinzo, right! That weird technique of his had almost killed him, but that wasn’t anywhere near what he had to suffer later. But hey, the team managed so it was all fine! But thankfully, during his journey he had somehow received a set of clothes; ones that had a certain sense of seasoned warrior but at the same time, they were brightly strong almost as if they possessed an aura of strong— they were pretty cool and light, so they did go to the male’s liking, nor were they too off the original Turtle style, oddly enough.
The persona had been used to a blue and yellow pair of each training garment. He called it ‘nostalgia’; Corn didn’t exactly know what to think of it but hey, orange was cool, too! Not orange top and blue shirt, though: it was an eyesore!
So, the flying individual donned a sleeveless, orange top— which revealed part of his bust similar to his other outfit. Like his other outfit, it wasn’t too different; he donned a belt and a pair of wristbands which were both blue. However, his loose pants followed the top’s color— he was quite dressed in orange. His boots, though, which were blue and a color that swung between the dark gray and blue with a modern-ish style to them unlike the traditional shoes the male was used to— but he had to say that it wasn’t too bad.
Finally, as the muscular alien soared the skies and eventually hit a landing point— to the moment where his velocity and kinetic energy dropped and suddenly shifted into a steady, but quite rapid landing as the man’s feet rested over a sloppy surface; a household’s roof. Quite the colorful one, to be precise, as the man leaned forth against an unusual decoration: a staff implanted within the rooftops with a chicken that slowly spun around as the wind whispered against its weak, wooden structure.
In the meanwhile, curious orbs slowly made their way over the island in the research of something familiar. It was all not too different, but at the same time, he could not help but feel like something was off.
“‘Dunno. Earth’s like it’s got a new feeling to it. But hey, I love it.”
The man smirked and soon let himself off as he removed his arm that he had wrapped around the weathervane and slid off the roof slowly, lifting up a little bit of dust as his shoes finally hit the edge of the building and the guy pretty much hopped off as his feet finally hit the ground and walked from around the corner straight off to the front for him to stare at the horizon.
“I missed this! Being home feels amazing,” - said to himself Cornatto as he smiled it away before he turned and paced off towards the entrance of the building and without ‘human manners’, he literally just went off to the window and pulled it open as he put his foot forth and pushed himself over as he pretty much sneaked in by the window.
“Heya, old man, are ya’ in here?!”
Unknown to him, there was indeed someone but it wasn’t the old man who had once trained Cornatto.
One guided by foggy memories of his past self, seeking to encounter the roots of beginning of his new life.
That idea was what guided the boy to tag along with Beat and go back to Earth, searching for the place that was the beginning of his new life, the place where he reincarnated to this world, still confused and lost, carving for something he didn't quite know what it was back then. It was painful, not physically, but emotionally, mentally... It hurt his very soul, almost as if his own existence was in pain just for the fact of being reassembled together, and this description wasn't half wrong. He was indeed a Frankenstein of some sort, a snip of two different, conflicting souls, assembled together by the Gods of Creation as a mean to preserve the brave warrior who risked his own soul in order to come and try to reestablish order to an Universe thrown back into chaos by his own offspring. A noble objective that prompted him to push himself to the edges of power, a power granted by the Gods themselves. Were they guilty? Perhaps they were, but ultimately, he was restored. They did not have the time or the means to put him back the conventional ways; it was done fast, in the rush of the moment.
There was no other way, in the end.
The sensation of the send on his face and the waves gently touching his feet was the first thing he remembered. The smell of the sea salt entering gently through his nostrils the first smell he would remember - and one he would grow to cherish - as the sea air flew away from the shore. The sight of the sunset, the orange, would forever remind him of the gift of life, no matter how unconventional his own life was. This place was special to him, no matter the fact he didn't really care for the Planet Earth - it meant little to him - but the Southern Islands, just like a bird remembering its own nest, was there, in his heart. Not a place he carved to be at, but one he wanted to visit, especially now that he knew himself, knew who he had been, and was now trying to discover who he was supposed to be. Unbound by the chains of his previous lives, his previous alliances, his previous hate, and even his previous love.
As his feet touched on the very same sand that welcomed him into this life, the waves caressed his shoes and he closed his eyes, taking a deep breath, allowing the sea air to invade his nostrils, throwing him back to that fateful day. "I'm back..." he said to himself as he slowly opened his eyes, watching the light of the sun intensely touching down the land. Everything was much brighter than that day. In front of him, a house. A humble and simple house, yet quite cozy, with its pinkish windows and red roof. "Kame House" it was the name and that name meant a lot to him. Through his memories, a few figures guided him towards the martial path. Other than his former self, a male figure that felt like a close friend and this person reminded him of this place, though he couldn't quite remember his face or name.
Without noticing, he was already inside the house and it looked quite abandoned. Not for an awful amount of time, but at least a couple years. As he walked around it, he felt a sense of familiarity and that prompted the boy to smile. The nostalgia and deja vu was so intense it numbed his ki sensing ability and he only noticed another person was around when he heard a voice. He was startled by the shrill tone of that voice and quickly turned around. The voice was familiar, but familiar from his previous life as he had learned to differentiate the feelings his current and past memories gave out. "Uhn?!" he exclaimed as his black eyes found the figure entering through the window.
The figure was indeed familiar, way too much. It was the person whose memories of taught him the Turtle School style and the sudden realization made him arch both his brows and widen his eyes. His jaws dropped and for a second he couldn't say a word. It was the first time he was seeing one from his past as he purposely avoided contact with all others back when he was on Namek.
Sai gulped upon the sight of this figure from the past and a sudden flood of memories came to his mind, but he couldn't really recall the name of this person; the thing he knew was that this person was a friend of his, someone he could rely on. The expression of surprise was quickly replaced by a calm and happy expression, with a subtle smile on his face. "I... I know you." the boy would simply say as he took a few steps to approach Cornatto. His gi was similar to the ones used by his own school, but he had no kanji emblazoned upon it, and the bright red colour would remind him of the old style of gi the school used, back from the day of its renascence during the age of the 21st World Martial Arts Tournament, which culminated with its debut to fame after a long time as a representative of the school eventually won the 23rd Tournament.
The moment that his voice resonated in the house but had no response was somewhat of a freeze for Cornatto; he just wondered if the old man was fine at this point. His daughter… well, she was somewhere. Living her own life. He was glad she had at least managed to pull herself up, it was hard to give it, given how caring of a father he had been, but all birds had to leave the nest at some point, right? Not to mention that, wow, god, the moment his sight could lay into the house again— it felt so abandoned.
So nostalgic. He could almost hear the old man’s voice still… and his daughter. Man, if he did miss them, even if to him, it felt almost as if time had stopped all of a sudden, but yet, he did recognize the time that had passed and just how much Kabocha must have missed him. Not to mention the old guy! Dude was such a fine pal, hopefully, he was still alive and kicking— dude was very old, after all.
However. When the man could get a frontal view of what was in the house, he saw no one… did anyone still live here, anyway? It was saddening to him to a certain extent; he did hope that at least the teachings of the school didn’t go to waste! That would have been sad, seriously!
He just wished he could have found the old man and told him everything about the tournament and what he had seen and done after he left off with the dragon— to catch up with a guy that had become a mentor figure to him was his desire, but apparently, it didn’t look like it would have happened anytime soon.
But also, one voice caught his attention. There was indeed someone. He did hear it. Someone who had exclaimed with the struggle of a throat: a reaction. Nothing more but yet a sign of life within the house. Yes, he could feel it too. There was indeed someone, but, it was…
The eyes followed what his heart believed to be the presence and his mind alerted him of such ki as curious, wide eyes that clashed with his eyebrows slowly arrived at the location of this guy. He was very young, he could tell that much; the kid wasn’t even half his age. Well, not that it took too much for that one, after all. Corn was kinda old, more or less, but hey! Anyway, it was quite peculiar for Cornatto to see such a new face in such ‘ruins’, not that the place was destroyed or anything, but it looked like it had seen better days with its students living in there and all.
“Huh…”
Cornatto, though, could see something else in him. Not only did he wear a uniform that resembled such lightness and traditionalism— definitely something out of the Turtle School. But, he couldn’t just tell too well, it wasn’t even about his sight because he was pretty sure he had never seen him around. Maybe.
But the man didn’t quite seem bothered by the presence, rather, he was curious if anything— what a kid was doing around here… with no one else around? Maybe he was looking for the Turtle Hermit— no, honestly. One of such power was unlikely to be looking for someone to be training him still; it had to be someone who was already strong enough who perhaps wished to face the Hermit or maybe… could this guy be the new Kamesennin?
The black-haired guy in orange pretty much just pushed up his feet as he was finally over the window, his boots resting their case on top of the familiar, wooden floor as Cornatto gently turned to completely gaze at him with curiosity but not hostility. The other, instead, looked happy as he approached and spoke.
Cornatto’s spine was almost shaking. He didn’t actually move from his position, but, the moment he heard his voice; it was like the most powerful man he had ever met suddenly fired up their ki in front of him, almost as if… a ghost ran past his body. It was… frightening, to a certain extent, but almost relieving… joyous, even?
The Earthling Saiyan smiled instinctively as he looked at the guy up and down. “Really?” - asked the guy with a hint of confidence in his tone. “You heard about me or something? Or, wait, did we meet before?”
Soon enough, the male laughed faintly with such lightness that would have maybe been familiar to Sai as he pulled up his hand and gently brushed it over the skin of the back of his neck.
“Sorry, buddy! I am usually not short on memory but, gosh, we’ve had to have met a while ago because I think I know you too— Hahaha!”
His gaze could not help but also take note of his tail as he realized: it was a Saiyan!
“Oh! Wait, maybe you were in the Alliance?”
Cornatto wasn’t sure, though, the dude looked too young to even have been there for the days of the Alliance, but either way, he guessed that it would have been a good time to make proper introductions then! Corn hadn’t quite made any correlations between a present and past life, but, as far as first impressions went, it did sure make him feel odd— in a pleasant way, too.
But, who was Corn to judge when he was the guy who had been through almost everything that was unbelievable? What was left to understand, for him, though, if such sensations were only a coincidence or perhaps; could there be more to this? Not like the Saiyan had ever been introvert, so there was no way he’d feel such goosebumps at meeting someone.
“But hey, either way,” - paused the man briefly as he leaned forward with his right shoulder and offered him his right hand. “Put it there! I am Cornatto!” - exclaimed the man with a wide and friendly smile. Regardless of who he was— one thing would never change about the man: his friendliness and his respect for fellow fighters.
The two black eyes met one another and the connection from the past was so intense it almost feel like a powerful gust of wind hit the boy right on his face. The shivers running down his spine and the butterflies flying inside his stomach as his heart pounded in excitement and nostalgia was something that was almost overwhelming, if he wasn't already getting used to his own reactions to the stimulus of his past lives coming rushing down his very being like a tidal wave. It was a sensation that could easily throw someone back and leave them breathless, but not him, not anymore at the very least; the years of solitude and meditation in the northern ruins of Planet Namek helped him connect with his core, to make peace with the dual souls that inhabited his small body and composed the new being Sai was. It was a complicated myriad of emotions, memories, sensations and ideas, but thanks to the help of the likes of Beat and the Elder Guru of Planet Namek, he managed to find his own way, his own path.
Sai chuckled at Cornatto's reaction and felt like he could relate to that, in a way. He hadn't heard about him and thus he shook his head rather energetically only to immediately start nodding, confirming that - although he hadn't heard of him before - they had indeed met before, though the way they met was everything but conventional and it would probably surprise the adult saiyan that was now standing in front of him. The excitement in Sai was visible not only through his facial expression, but through the constant swaying of his tail, like an excited puppy, ready to play. He felt happy when the fellow saiyan said that, despite his bad memory, he had an impression the two of them had met in the past and that made the red gi boy widen his smile. "Hehehe.... We've met before, though not really... It's a bit complicated! Hehe!" he started, not giving any useful information at the moment; if anything, Sai probably only made things even more confusing.
The conclusion that he was from the Alliance was not entirely wrong and Sai giggled at the statement as it was both right and wrong at the same time and in so many different ways it would take a while to explain. Finally, he introduced himself and said his name and the memory rushed through Sai's brain like crazy. For a moment his world froze solid and he pictured himself in a ring in a distant, yet familiar planet. His old self was wearing a saiyan traditional battle suit and he was in front of the man that was currently standing before him. They were friends, they trusted and cared for each other. So this was his name, his identity. And now, all of a sudden, the shady image that guided him through the secrets of the Turtle School became clear; it was this guy, Cornatto, all along.
Suddenly, Sai came back to the present time, to reality, and he was unsure of where he was, so he looked at his own body and tapped his torso, then his hair and then he moved his tail, almost startled by its sudden movement. He did so in order to confirm he was back to being his current self, and he was relieved to find out he was indeed.
"Phew..." he sighed in comfort before smiling again and staring back at Cornatto. "Sorry... My name is Sai, but this is only my current name..." he paused, chuckling lightly. "It's a bit complicated to explain, but we know each other, but not from this life. I, as Sai, have never met you before and yet, you taught me many things and I'm quite grateful for that, Cornatto!" he said, bowing lightly to the saiyan in gratitude. "I could try explaining with words... But I'm not very good with that and... On top of it all..." and his gentle smile shifted into a quite mischievous smirk. "You are really powerful! And I love fighting against powerful people! Hehehe..." and upon saying that, Sai clenched both his fists and flared a powerful yellow aura with sparkles of yellow coloured bio-electricity running wild around the aura.
"AAAAAHHHHHH!!!!" he roared, making his power explode. His ki signature skyrocketed intensely, a sign of one experienced enough to have mastered the super saiyan form, and getting dangerously close to the energy levels required to break through the super saiyan two threshold. He was not quite there yet, but definitely getting there, which was quite impressive to one of his age; Sai didn't look any older than thirteen or fourteen years old.
With the transformation completed, he allowed his arms to rest by his torso while his now teal coloured eyes stared intensely at Cornatto. Then, surprisingly, he slid into the turtle school stance and, shockingly, his stance was flawless, not different from a person who had mastered the style, with his legs spread open a bit, slightly bent knees, right fist clenched while the left was open in a claw-shaped form, ready to counter and react. It was the offensive form of the stance, showing he meant business; he was really determined to spar with Cornatto. "Through my fists, you will get to know me in a way my words can't do justice!" he said.
And with that being said, Sai launched himself right at Cornatto's face, with the right fist glowing in yellow energy, one of the signature techniques of the turtle school. "Super God Fist!" he exclaimed. If there was any doubt he knew the school, this doubt had just evaporated.

Cornatto looked at him up and down, and as much as he had gotten some kind of deja vu, he didn’t quite remember ever meeting this guy. But there was indeed something fishy about him. An element he couldn’t quite explain the origin of and it was almost frightening for many but just intriguing to the man.
The word ‘alliance’ had seemingly somewhat… tossed him into a whole new world? Corn couldn’t quite understand what he was up to, it was almost as if he had triggered some kind of trauma or whatever because this dude wasn’t even there anymore with his head. It was there that Corn leaned forth with a fist resting onto his hip, while his other hand was gently shaken in front of him for the other to check whether or not his pal was there or not.
But hey, he was there apparently— after he was done looking up whether or not he was altogether in one piece. The Earthling Saiyan eyed him curiously; phew? This guy was really mysterious, wasn’t he?
“Your current name? You had others? I mean— people kind of called me all sorts of things. Even though, they were just titles honestly,” - said the man but yet again Sai managed to make this more complicated but at the same time had given Corn an answer: another life. Did people have another life before being re-created anew or something like that? It was almost like he was from somewhere else, entirely, but yet, it was almost like the guy had it on the edge of his tongue: he knew this guy to some extent. He could feel it.
“Did I really? I am glad, buddy!” - stated the male with a smile. "I don't know how, though, I just...— well, let's say I came back from a trip," - added Corn shortly after. The Saiyan couldn’t actually grasp how he had taught him anything, but hey, as long as he managed to; that was as good as it could get for him. Would that mean he knew the Turtle School? Maybe. He did look promising.
However. Whoever this kid really was, at least he shared a very common trait with almost all Saiyans, but especially Cornatto: the love for battle. Especially stronger opponents. Cornatto chuckled and didn’t quite give a look of surprise the moment he had begun his transformation: he did expect this to blow into a full-out battle just like Sai had just anticipated.
Though, this guy was really something— ever so slightly his aura increased and even for his age, he was far stronger than Kabocha had ever gotten to; that was quite an achievement! Corn couldn’t stop but thinking about just how much potential this kid could hide and not only that but the gusts of winds that passed his hair… were almost nostalgic. He had felt this before. This ki? Not exactly, it was something deeper than just energy. But regardless, it kept Cornatto watching intensely.
The transformation was now complete and Sai had shown off a power that was almost mandatory when it came to a certain milestone in a Saiyan’s life and the guy had totally done that. He had demonstrated to Cornatto that he had a lot more to offer than words, as he had turned into a Super Saiyan. The Earthling Saiyan looked content as he simply gazed at him with a curious but definitely intrigued expression.
“Super Saiyan, huh?... I like where this is going.”
Before long, though, Sai did also accomplish a feat that Corn did not quite expect but had at least questioned for a moment. The boy pretty much assumed a perfect, turtle stance which was almost a heartful to him, to know that somebody still carried on the school’s teachings, but it was also a handful when it came to this guy; just who was he?
But just like he said: fists would have done a better job than words! Cornatto himself had always been a battle kind of guy, so he was definitely down for this, just like the younger man had also slid in a stance, the taller guy followed as his limbs almost as if they were light like feathers but solid like silk slowly assumed the stance that had likely been used by the other martial artist.
Bent knees, straight back but also slowly bent torso in order to follow up the opponent’s movements and the positioning of the hands that was as mysterious as helpful as they could get given the infinite possibilities to follow up or begin a conflict. Speaking of which, Sai was the one to begin the sparring as he tossed himself at the Earthling Saiyan with a Super God Fist.
Therefore, the man could think of no better way to respond but with a fist of his own as the man’s features quickly changed into a full powered state of the Super Saiyan; light blonde tint and a pair of wholesome, teal-colored eyes. The man put his back in his next step as he made forth for his drawn back arm to do a comeback and also return the strike Sai had offered as the man aimed to clash fists with the same technique.
[Super Saiyan Full Power [x16] | Power Level: 8.396.576]
With a blazing scent and bright glow of his fist, the man soon quickly allowed his appendage to fire a multitude of brilliant shades of white and crimson as without even needing physical pressure, knocks silently cracked as their grip tightened on the palm.
The fists clashed and their auras grazed— in the slightest moment that allowed Corn’s excitement to turn into insight for a moment. Unsure whether or not ki had anything to do with this, but the moment their punches connected, whichever was prevailing was not important in that instant, but rather, the taller man’s pupils widened in a moment of outer conscience almost as if a greater truth had been implanted within his mind.
But he didn’t really know what this was about. But it was like just a connection of fists had at least granted him a sensation of old; almost as if they had fought before and the other’s power no longer felt like a stranger but rather oddly familiar.
“You… I know you too.”
The man’s eyes blinked for a few moments until his confusion suddenly showed off in quite a different manner as a smile widened over his face before it fully blew out into a grin as he pushed forth with his fist to overpower Sai. Literally.
“Alright. Now I’m pumped up! Come at me with everything you have, Sai!”

Cornatto has fired an [IN][SOT-2] Super God Fist for PL 4.198.288 vs 1.865.384 = 2.332.904 damage heading towards Sai!
He didn't have any titles in this life, yet, but he held many titles on his previous life. Leader of the Natto Force, Commander-in-Chief of the Stationary Defence Force of the Empire, Commander of the Empire, Overseer of the Saiyan Alliance, and even some other titles as the other part of his soul. Yet, they were not something he really felt entitled to anymore, as he was no longer those two beings that composed his core. He was his own person, he was Sai, and his accomplishments would not rely on the glories of his past, but with the reality of his new life, with the present, and that was the decision he took the moment he made peace with his own heart and decided to follow his own path, not restrained by the chains of his former selves.
"Hehe... I also came back from a trip of some sorts!" he added as Cornatto briefed through his adventure with the multiverse, to which Sai was completely oblivious about. Even within his previous life, with all the perks he was allowed to accomplish with the afterlife training, he never new other universes existed, let alone higher gods than the Kaioshin. Not even the God of Destruction was within his realm of knowledge, which meant the new generation, his sons and his remaining friends and allies managed to climb even higher than Natto ever did. His stunt to pull a Kaioken times one hundred would easily be overshadowed by the perks of Godly ki and Ultra Instinct. The past was indeed doomed to be surpassed by the present, and it was good that it was this way as it meant people who were still alive were evolving, rather than devolving or staying stagnant. He would be happy to know that, but this was not within his realm of foggy memories.
As expected, Cornatto used the same fighting stance, just further confirming he was indeed the memory which guided Sai through the teachings of the Turtle School. It meant this sparring would be very hard and even more exciting. Sai's was getting all pumped up and it only increased as Cornatto turned into a super saiyan as well. His power was completely absurd, which immediately reminded him of the astonishing power Beat had displayed on their last sparring, though the Legendary Super Saiyan still managed to reach a higher, but Sai was suspicious this was just a glimpse of Cornatto's true potential, considering the power he displayed on Base form, which was over twice Sai's own power; a difference even Beat could not surpass.
"Super Saiyan hehe... This will be fun!" he exclaimed shortly before launching his attack. Cornatto matched the Super God Fist with his own and the shockwave from the impact of the fists resonated through Sai's fist and arm for a second, before sending the boy flying away from the house through the window, so powerful was Cornatto's version of the attack. "ARGH!" he grunted as he was pushed away, sailing through the air until he managed to focus enough so he would stop himself midair. As he recovered a bit, he heard Cornatto's words, saying he knew him too, but he could see in his teal coloured eyes he wasn't quite sure who he actually was and that just made things a bit more fun. The boy chuckled as he landed back on the sandy shore of the island and pushed both his hands forward in a very familiar motion.
"I will show you all I have! Hehehe! And who knows... Maybe it will tip you off!" he exclaimed as he started gathering the full potential of his ki. "Ka... Me..." and as he said that he pushed his hands to the side of his body. "Ha... Me..." and a blue coloured energy sphere appeared in between his hands, growing quickly and changing its colour to bright red for a moment. "Ha... Times..." as the sphere continued to grow, something not natural to that particular attack happened: the colour changed from red into teal and shortly before Sai pushed his hands forward, the image of a Great Ape roaring in fury appeared behind him for a brief second. "TEN!!!" he roared as he fired the massive teal coloured energy wave right at Cornatto, putting every ounce of strength he had in his core into that blast, revealing his full, unrestrained power, together with techniques combined that very few in this world would be able to use.
The power he managed to summon was massive, to the point Cornatto would have to get serious for a moment, otherwise even someone as strong as himself could easily be defeated by the sheer amount of power the saiyan boy was packing on this one attack. It was impressive how much he could achieve despite his much lower power in comparison to the saiyan standing before him. Truth was, Sai was putting his heart into it.

Every title Cornatto had received too meant little more for him anymore; sure, he had gotten plenty from: Major, Turtle Hermit. He had gotten plenty of them, but just a few still meant anything for him. It was to be expected given how much of a man on grounds he had always been, but it was always nice to think about.
“A trip? Oh! You’ll have to tell me about it then,” - added the guy before the whole sparring had unfolded. Corn himself had technically gone on a trip with a universal dragon which had provided things he would have had to reflect on later. But now, he had come back to quite the pleasing surprise to find such a promising Saiyan kid! Corn couldn’t tell precisely how old he was, but he probably couldn’t have been older than sixteen. Although, Sai definitely had quite some power for his age; definitely something he wouldn’t see very often, even in the kids that plenty of Saiyans defined as elite. But at the same time, it was also true that the exchange of fists had resulted a little bit painful for Sai. Of course, Corn didn’t exactly want to harm the guy too much, but he was sure that he could take it— if anything, he’d come out of it stronger than ever. “You okay, there buddy?”
But he was indeed fine and apparently, ready to go again.
“Come at me with everything you’ve got, c’mon!”
Corn didn’t exactly know what he meant when he mentioned gettin’ tipped off, but apparently, whatever he had just said was proven to be his true intentions as he could feel him charging an energy that was quite beyond what he had initially expected: this guy.
This guy somehow reminded the man of himself, there was something he just couldn’t skip about it— he had heart. Yes, he could tell that much, not many would have likely sparred Corn without thinking about it twice and yet, this guy decided to do so; there was something about him that was definitely part of Cornatto but also, it was like talking to someone he hadn’t in a long time.
Someone who could share: the flying soul of the deceased in the man’s mind had come back for him to remember someone whose figure wasn’t clear. Not like he could ever forget the past life of this kid, but, at the moment, he could not make the connection. That was, until the Kamehameha grew and not only that but Corn stared in amusement— he was straight out bawled at the amazing display of power. This guy was… just beyond any Turtle teaching!
This kid was using a combination similar to Cornatto’s!
“W-what… He knows the times ten?! This guy’s mastered the school!” - exclaimed the former Turtle Hermit in excitement with a smile on his face, but not only that, the moment the attack was launched— a roar followed. One that struck in many more levels than just physical, it was powerful and violent but at the same time, nostalgic. This was the ace of the Soy School… just like he had predicted.
He fought just like Corn did!
“Amazin’... all right then,” - mumbled the man before he readied himself, in a second his stance had become rigid but strong and at the same time showed off a mastery of movements that was beyond the classic martial artist; he knew what to do and when to do it and now, it was the time to brace himself for the next level!
[Super Saiyan Two Full Power [x32] | Power Level: 16.793.152]
Sparks and electricity followed this man’s body like a suit: he had ascended to the level of a Super Saiyan Two. A form that was truly beloved by most Saiyans for it was the evolution of a Super Saiyan without falling in the realm of the Three that was heavy and energy-consuming: maybe the perfect form if only one could level it even further beyond.
“Ka...me...ha...me!!”
The Earthling Saiyan had already drawn back his stance, his limbs were stretched and knees bent while he cupped his hands off to his hips as he charged the famous Turtle School signature attack: the Kamehameha!
The teal in his eyes shined— his technique did not quite turn out to be red, but rather, it flashed a bright color that glowed even far more fiercely the moment its sphere suddenly increased in size; this guy, was going to put all of his soul into this attack too!
“HAAAAAAA!!!”
A mighty, beastly roar replaced the man’s later scream as he launched forth with his feet and fired the supreme beam of energy that lifted up as much dust as one could ever make an account for and it clashed against Sai’s Kamehameha. The moment their attacks touched, it was as if an old memory touched Cornatto’s soul— he could feel it; when both Saiyans’ spirits could finally once more face each other.
Ha… My name is Natto! Maybe we are related haha!
You were one of our first members, and I need you by my side, as both a warrior and a councilor!
You alright, Corn?
With wide and shocked eyes, the man eyed the void almost as if he had been touched by the gods himself; he could see it now. He knew what was up. Not that he could tell what could have ever made this possible, but, the Saiyan now recognized the fellow within the child’s body: his old friend, Natto.
In a moment, as the clash dulled, though, the Earthling Saiyan saw plenty of images out of a far and impossible to reach past, but in the end, he could tell that… maybe the past wasn’t as far as he’d like to believe.
He had it right in front of him, after all.
“I knew you weren’t gone!— Hahaha!”
With a smirk, the man propelled himself forth as he boosted the power of his energy attack out of excitement but at the same time, happened to overwhelm Sai’s and had it coming right at him.

Cornatto fired [SPE][EOT-1] Kamehameha + [E-ULT-3] Spirit of the Saiyans for PL 30.227.673 vs 11.005.766.
A clash of Kamehameha waves is something World shaking. An explosion of power that cannot even be measured. This particular technique molded the path of generations towards the future, from the times of the infamous Mutenroshi, to the legendary saiyan who protected the universe over and over again. Even during the times of his previous lives, this technique has been used by a few warriors who also helped shaping the current situation of the Universe. This clash represented not only the previous generation, but also the current one, the new one. When Cornatto's aura exploded with bio-electricity, Sai knew that he could not hold back. Although he could feel he was close to reaching that level of power, he was still not quite there yet, and no matter how much he wanted to reach this level, he needed more power first. It would be hard, but he wouldn't back off, his saiyan pride was on the line now, and if anything, Cornatto had just made the challenge a tad bit more exciting to him. "I won't back off! You will witness my power, Cornatto!" he thought to himself as he pushed his ki energy levels to its very limit and now his energy was overflowing, all concentrated in the sphere in between his hands.
The power of their saiyan blood was acting up, and the bonds with their comrades and the ideals they fought for, which appeared as the image of the Great Ape behind them whenever they used the Spirit of the Saiyans' technique. "So he is using that too, uhn? This is going to be interesting! Hehehe! I wonder if I will even be able to stand after this, but it matters not! I will show him my full power!" he thought to himself as he got ready to fire.
At the same time, the two saiyan warriors fired their attacks and they clashed with one another, generating such a huge shockwave, that the trees around the little island were almost ripped out of the ground. The small house, although quite beaten, stood stubbornly, resisting the pressure of their clashing ki, which was an impressive feat on its own; no wonder it was still standing after over a centuries, it was a hell of a resilient structure. As the energies connected, Sai's mind was overflown with plenty of memories of his past life: the day they met, when they joined under the Saiyan Reborn Alliance, the many times they trained together, they fought together and even laughed together. The two souls were truly good and old friends, and this feeling endured the severe and painful reincarnation his soul went through, it withstood even the fusion of the souls with someone who was their enemy. It was an eternal bond.
Not long after the clash, the energy from Cornatto overpowered Sai's own and he was blasted by the power of the kamehameha wave and pushed backwards, screaming in pain. "AAAARRRGGGGHHHHH!" the huge explosion took place and smoke covered the whole area around them. The wind blew the smoke not long after that and there was Sai, still standing, even though he was completely out of it, unconscious, but his determination allowed his body to keep himself standing for a few seconds before he hit the ground. A smile was stamped on his face, despite his utter defeat.
He was happy.

The energy levels truly hit floors beyond the ones Sai might have dealt with before; quite going as far as almost completely overwhelming him in little than nothing, but then again, at the same time, Corn could as well hold back as far enough as not to cause any lethal damage but rather, as both waves clashed— but one with the power of the Ascended Super Saiyan, it became almost clear as to who would have been the winner of the contest.
The Earthling Saiyan wasn’t entirely sure what had happened to Natto, but still, for how powerful he used to be, their waves ought to be almost equal but… apparently, his old friend might have had to go through a lot.
Soon, the Supreme Kamehameha struck through the other’s and blew up as an impact force lifted up all sorts of dust and winds that ran sideways as smoke and debris made their way all over the place, but as well as that, there was also a sudden quietness; no noises or anything.
It was the calm before the storm or otherwise? In the end, as the smoke cleared, it was clear that Sai had gone down and as slowly, Cornatto blinked and recollected his form; once more he straightened his back and stood firm as he looked down at what had become of the young opponent, the man grimaced and lowered his eyes in the slightest sensation of sore pain for the kid.
Was he even a kid? In the end, somehow, the individual he had thought lost for so long had finally returned but in a different body and identity— so, was he actually a child, or? It was confusing, to say the least, for Cornatto to understand how he would have considered things to be. He was almost sure it was definitely Natto, though, no doubt. It could have hardly been a coincidence, at least to him.
“H—hey! You good, buddy? Maybe I went a little too far,” - added the man as yellow locks once more lost their color and turned into a pitch, yet fashionable black. His power level also lowered a lot, to be precise, back to his previous standing-ground which he had initially bestowed— it had been a while since he suppressed his energy since he found himself a lot more at ease simply being loose with his ki. If anything, it could be a beacon for strong guys if they were interested in a spar! But, well, his little bout with Sai was about done now. Plenty of the man’s firstly sharp hair now lowered once more and took the form of this man’s base status. Once more, the Earthling Saiyan approached and crouched down with both his knees bent and his arms rested on his own legs as he just glanced at Sai.
“So, uh, do I call you Natto or Sai?” - he asked with a smirk, hoping he would be able to provide an answer. The guy didn’t exactly know how to heal or anything, so he wouldn’t have been able to provide much in that manner, but yet, he collected him from the ground and brought him back inside, where he simply let him rest on the couch.
“You have plenty of things to explain, by the way! Sure, I’ve been away for years, but, wow, you’ve come back like… that and also mastered the Turtle School? Did anything else happen while I was away?”
With that question, though, while he was interested, Corn also went over to the kitchen to see if the fridge would be available for a small raid— but, he did keep his ears sharp for him to listen to anything— if Sai still had the strength to speak.
He was out cold for a while, the saiyan cells were working hard on restoring him back to consciousness and into pumping up his power from this dangerous, yet exciting experience. He was lucky to be a saiyan; earthlings only got the injuries and none of the benefits of facing such extreme experiences, and now he would be able to restore more of his soul's original powers and that was something his core carved for. He could feel another breakthrough approaching as he continued to grow strong and he needed it if he was to become relevant once again. The Cornatto had just displayed, the power of the Ascended Super Saiyan. The darkness of his mind slowly faded away as he heard a voice from the distance, which kept on getting closer. When he opened his now dark eyes - Sai had reverted back to base form - he saw the other saiyan standing near him. "Uhn...? Ouch... My b-body is sore... He... He... Hehe..." his mood wasn't spoiled by his injuries. With some effort, the boy managed to sit down and he took a deep breath, even though it hurt to do so, which was weirdly funny. Not even when he fought against Isabella and Beat he had reached this level of damage and, again, it felt familiar. Well, that should go without saying as Sai's past self had faced death and near erasure more than once.
He blinked twice and faced the now base form Cornatto when he asked how he should call him. "Although I'm... Well... I'm kind of his reincarnation... I'm my own person now, following my own path." he said with a hardened conviction. "Therefore, I go by Sai!" he nodded, widening his happy and careless smile. Then, he tried to get back up, but he wasn't able to, his legs were still too weak to sustain his small body. But noticing that, Cornatto collected him into his arms and he thanked him with a smile.
"Well... Some things happened, although I'm not the best person to explain, as I was living by myself in the northern ruins of Namek. But this is what I know." and he paused to take a deep breath, thinking about the subjects he thought would be important. "Komatsu is leading some saiyans in Namek that are more like a mix of the Reborn Alliance and the Galactic Patrol..." it was funny how he still used the term "Reborn Alliance", as if it was back at the days of its foundation. "Nasu is ruling a Kingdom or Empire of some sorts in a far away planet I don't know where it is... And the Demon Queen got a God of Destruction power from the Dragon Balls. That's pretty much all I know about the events that happened in these two years..." he explained with a light shrug. "And where exactly have you been, Cornatto? You seem to be almost as lost as I am, hehehehe! That's funny!" he pointed out in a goofy way.
