It had been a couple of days since he had arrived on earth, and with that, a decision had been made, he would settle in. Earth as a planet, was something that amazed him, be either by its natural characteristics or by its culture altogether, however, living on his ship was something that despite all the commodities it had, it lacked some utilities that only a house could provide, and with that in mind, Houri had picked a place in the western lands close to a forest and green hills with a river passing by from the nearby mountain.
The place itself was quiet and with a good measure of distance between civilization and nature, for him, it was ideal. It was sunny and while using his regular Saiyan attire, he surveyed the land with Beau by his side. He had a small tablet in his hand while taking notes on it about area while putting flags on the ground, as if marking the limits of what he would build, he needed plenty of space and as he was kicking the soil he commented.
- So, I will really build a base here, but we need to make some adjustments, like a underground hangar to fit Specter, otherwise she will be always outside sticking out in the open, I could just blast the ground around until it was deep enough, but still, I think it might disturb the land and I do not want to cause damage to this area and risk changing it. –
Beau, in her Dragon form, slowly clawed the ground besides Houri while slapping her tail against the soil behind her. The sound was solid, and while the kid had not yet understood what she was up to, her eyes glimmered with a spark of an idea. She quickly used her claws and shoulder plates to bury herself while talking mentally with the Kid.
- Little one, I believe that if I dig using my body and my claws I can in due time, give us enough room to build the underground, I consider that it will take a long while for me to finish it, so, you can try and gather the materials for the structures needed, we will need wood, iron and some other minerals, you can gather wood from the forest nearby, just be sure to get only what we need ok? –
Houri saw this as an opportunity to train, after all. Since he had met Beat and got information about how the state of the universe was, he was dying to improve himself, and one thing in particular, to be able to cut with his ki, just like Beat used the sword. Nodding to Beau and leaving for the woods. He stated as he took a good look at the trees he was about to bring down.
- Most of these woods will go to the processor to create the materials I need, however Beau said that I need to take extra care in order not to take too many threes from the same place. About ten would do I guess. –
And with that in mind, Houri flared up his Ki and while turning super Saiyan, focused his ki in a compressed and flat form, resembling Beat’s sword, the form was crude and imperfect, but the energy was dense enough to be able to cut a large three if he wanted. He took preference in threes he saw that were empty of animal life, and once he cut them, before they could fall, he would grab them and bring about to where Specter was stationed.
Back on Earth again, the place where it all started, the fission between Natto’s Force and the Saiyan Empire. It has been but a day since he had arrived on the planet with Beat and he once again needed a time for himself, to figure things out. That led him to fly to the Southern Islands, the place where he first appeared on when he reincarnated and also the place where his former self established his first headquarter for his group. He didn’t quite remember much more, or why they were driven out of the planet, but he knew it was because of some conflict with the local earthlings.
The waves were gently touching his feet as he stood there by the shore, eyes closed and thinking about all those still foggy memories he had. So many things still randomly flooded his mind and if he was to be fair, he felt it was completely overwhelming, but thanks to the Elder Guru, he was now able to handle it way better than succumbing to PTSD episodes and losing his mind. Mastering his Super Saiyan form also played a great role in that, he had to admit.
Sai missed too many people and he couldn’t help but to make an effort to remember how their ki signature felt like, even though it was on his memories alone. As he focused on that, he felt a sudden spike of energy in an island nearby, one that screamed super saiyan levels, but that was not the thing that alerted him the most. Turning his head in that direction in shock, he noticed that this particular ki signature was too complicated. It reminded him of himself and at the same time reminded him of someone most of his soul hated and the smaller part of it feared. It was a myriad of energies that made even less sense to be together than his own.
”W-what… Is this energy?” he asked himself while a single drop of cold sweat ran down his temple. He felt some shivers running down his spine, but his curiosity was intense and he knew he had to check. Maybe it was someone from his past, maybe this person would help him figure things out about himself before he was ready to go to the two main sources of memories he could get. Committed to that, he flared his ghostly-white aura and flew towards the source of that ki signature, with his heart in conflict.
As Houri cutted the trees, he looked rather disapointed at the way they were being cut down, the cut was not clean or perfect, in a way, it was a bit jagged, showing that his ki had control, but not the finesse that he would need to have a ki sword well defined like Beat's own sword.
At that moment, holding the huge tree trunk he wondered if he somehow wasn't dispersing too much energy or even wasting it with a bad control. His mind at this, was not completely focused as he should, he kept remembering about his spar with Beat and the way that the two had a abyss of difference between their power and technique.
- I can fight, but, I have to be more effective, but i wonder if Koma would teach me, or even the Kami, considering I am a Saiyan and all, once i finish this, i will go seek the Kami, if that swordsman that i meet here years ago was right, the Kami is a nice person, he would not judge me over my blood, or in this case, tail right?
At this point, Houri mumbled to himself instead of actually talking to someone else, he was so distracted at his work, cutting, carrying the trunks and coming back to the woods that he did not realize that after he had cut down his last tree the trunk wasnt falling on the area that he had anticipated and without time to react he could only see it falling, however, he had not sensed it, but someone was nearby and was about to be hit by the falling trunk.
He was so distracted that he had not noticed any energy, honestly, he had only noticed the person that had wandered in due to his bright clothes. Such was his surprise and little time to react, that his face was contorted in a terrible expression of despair, indecision and fear. For a split seccond, he did not knew if he would scream, fly at it or grab the person, so, in a flash, he did the two first options, screaming desperatly and attacking the trunk with a focused blast to push it away
LOOK THE WOOOOOOOOD!!! IS FALLING!!!!
Still in his Super Saiyan form, Houri rushed to get closer to the person that was almost hit and panting, more out of the scare than anything else, touched the floor and started to appologize while looking quickly at him to see if he was ok. Of course, Houri was so distressed that he not realized that he was speaking to another Saiyan.
Please, i am so sorry, i thought i was alone here, are you ok? I am just building my house and was cutting wood, i mean you no harm! But if you are hurt, i have med bay in my ship!
Despite his Saiyan armor having a more unique look to it, Houri had his easygoing attitude towards himself, jolly even, something that conflicted a bit with his Super Saiyan looks, however, as soon as he had calmed down a bit, he was now back to normal and offered his hand while stating his name.
My name is Houri! Sorry if we started in a wrong foot! Nice to meet you!

As he approached the scene, he saw this boy, not much older than him, in his super saiyan form. The way he was displaying the mystical power of the S-Cells was enough for Sai to realize he was accustomed to the power they granted so he was a somewhat seasoned fighter despite the tender age. The boy in the red gi narrowed his eyes as he approached as it seemed like the other boy in saiyan armour had not noticed his approach up until he had landed nearby, which completely startled him, prompting the armoured boy to attack the trunk of wood. Sai stared at him with suspicion and curiosity in his eyes, his tail hanging loose on his back, but he didn’t act or say a word yet; he just watched and listened to that boy.
After this sudden shock, he began approaching Sai and, just as a warning, he clenches both his fists and focused his mind on the tingling sensation on his upper back. In an instant, the golden aura was flared and his hair became spiked and gold and his eyes teal, a sign of the fully powered super saiyan estate. This was just a silent warning to the armoured boy not to get any closer.
Once he transformed, Sai could properly measure his power in comparison to the other boy and he estimated that he was about a fourth stronger than the person in front of him and that allowed him to relax a tad bit more and he loosened his erstwhile clenched fist and listened to what the boy had to say. Sai cracked a boastful smirk in the corner of his mouth and chuckled a bit. ”I would be surprised if a piece of wood could actually hurt me! Hehe!” he gloated. ”Or can’t you sense my ki?” he asked with the smirk, arching one of his brows in a quite abrasive tone.
But as the boy reverted back to base form, so did Sai. He stared at the hand of the boy and considered his options for a while until he decided to shake it, still with a suspicious look on his face. ”I’m Sai. So… Let me ask you right away. Remnants or Kingdom? I couldn’t help but to notice the armour.” he bluntly asked.

At First Houri did not knew how to proceed when he first saw the Super Saiyan form of the newcomer, however, his laugh came in right away after the question regarding his ki sense. He scratched his head a bit and said while wagging his tail in a relaxed way.
- Sorry, i was actually distracted, i am cutting some trees to build myself a House, and was taking the opportunity to hone my ki skills, i saw a friend do a sword thing with his Ki, since i thought it is cool i am trying to develop my own, but you see, the cut is not doing so great, my control is ok, but i need more practice. I had not even noticed you coming, good thing you doesn’t seem like a bad person, plus, it is nice meeting another one like me! Haha and finally someone close to my power level, first time!
He laughed a bit while putting the log a bit away and checking it if he could still use it, the hit had pushed it to the side, but it was usable, he would just have a bit less of the material he would need, but by his calculations, he had almost everything of wood, he needed not some iron ore and some of the rocks nearby would have it, he would need only to break them and carry, however, when he heard about the factions, Houri stopped, and turned around, first, listening and then, looking at his own clothes while again, laughing with his jolly attitude.
- I really do not belong to any faction, politics are to complicated, i consider myself a free Saiyan, the clothes? Fashion! Take a look! Functional, resistant and cool looking! It can’t get much better than that, might use a cape, but i think it would get in the way, specially when one is cutting wood. And you? You do not seem to be using any armor like the people from Nasu’s army, so, do you live here on earth, or are you with Koma and the guys from the RA thing? Also, i am not really alone, a friend of mine is digging around for the basement of my place, so, please do not be surprised by her looks ok?
Despite just powering down from his Super Saiyan form, Houri smiled and acted as relaxed as if he knew Sai for years, at ease and talking openly, however, one thing was in his mind, his power signature, it was familiar to his in a way he could not really put into words, but he ignored while pointing out to a area nearby where the ground was shifting. Not too long after, Beau, in her form came out of the ground and started cleaning herself before resting a bit under a nearby tree.
- That is Beau! She is my friend i was talking about, she is harmless, and overly polite too!
The kid claimed he was building a house and Sai could definitely see that. Not that he really cared with what he was doing here, the thing that provoked his curiosity was the fact that he was a saiyan and was wearing the armour and, on top of that all, his features looked familiar to him in a way he couldn’t yet understand, which made him suspect that boy might have a connection to his past life or something along those lines. When he said it was good to find someone close to his level and that was like him, Sai cracked a smirk with the corner of his mouth, showing all of his saiyan pride. ”Well… I don’t really think we are on the same level from the moves I saw when you were breaking the wood. It looked very clumsy.” Sai’s blunt honesty could be annoying to some, but that was how the boy behaved and he was still a bit oblivious to some social cues.
The boy then explained he did not belong to any faction and that made him a bit like Sai and the red-gi boy nodded in acknowledgement, maybe they were indeed similar in a way. ”I see…” he said while the armoured boy explained a bit about his background. When asked about himself and if he belonged to Earth he shook his head. ”I belong nowhere really. I’m still working on finding a place I can call home. For now, I’m a wandering saiyan.” he explained and then he looked to the creature approaching.
It was indeed one of a kind, it resemble nothing Sai had ever seen, but he wasn’t shocked or afraid of the creature. ”Quite the amazing creature! I’m surprised! But then again, I don’t have a lot of experience with this kinda thing. The only thing I’m currently good at is fighting! And I’m proud to say I learned it by myself… In a sense! Hehehe!” he said, feeling the rush of adrenaline running inside his veins. ”Say, Houri… Do you also feel you only really know people after sparring with them?” and as he said that, he chuckled and slid into a fighting stance that would look to be very ancient, a fighting style with plenty of story behind it.
”So… How about we exchange some blows? Maybe you will learn a thing or two, hehe…” he teased Houri, hoping he would accept the bout.
[/b] Houri could not help but laugh openly when Sai remarked his moves, there was no way to deny it, his moves were not really the best they could be, the lack of formal training was visible even to someone that he had just met. He wasn’t embarrassed by it, or ashamed of it, but he had to admit, learning the basics from simulations and learning from a master, like Beat or his brothers, it was something else entirely. However, he still carried pride over it, not from his moves, but because where he was due to them, even not having any training, he had been able to get this far, and even though he had capped it and needed to learn more, he stated with a smirk that made him resemble Sai even more.[/color][/b]
- Well, I never had formal training before, all you see is just me and my Saiyan instincts! And if I came up this far in life, even while being clumsy, which I am a bit haha! It is thanks to them. And do not think that because your power level is a bit higher than mine, that I can’t surprise you! I sure can! Haha –
His blood was boiling, the rush of adrenaline was undeniable, Sai’s comments weren’t bad or made Houri mad, in fact, they just stirred something in him, in his spirit, it was like an urge to trade blows, but not in a hostile way, Houri could not tell exactly why, but he liked the Saiyan and felt at ease with him. When he heard about the tittle he smiled and spoke while stretching a bit.[/b]
- Haha, we are really similar then, I do not have a place to call home too, for almost all my life I lived in a tent in planet Vegeta wastelands having to survive on scraps. I managed to make a friend that helped me start up, but even then, I have not felt that I belonged anywhere. But I must admit, I feel more at ease here in this planet than any other place! This place has a way to make you feel good! That is why I decided to live here, I heard that people often suffer here at the hands of people that are much stronger than the inhabitants, so, the other reason I decided to stay, it’s because even though I am not as strong as Nasu or Koma, I do not want to see people prayed on by stronger people, so I will protect everyone I can here.
After finishing up his stretching and cleaning up a bit of his clothes, he smirked and looked at Sai, he knew where they were going with that conversation, they were saiyans and a spar was almost like a handshake for them, when he heard about the comments from Beau, and finally about his own fighting and with that, another smile.[/b]
- See, another thing in common! Haha, yes, I was actually waiting to see how you felt about it, and I am glad to see you are up for this! I am getting really excited! This will be a great way to measure how am I doing compared to someone so similar! Also, I never knew my dad or my mom, I know who they are by name and reputation, but I wish I could met them! And often I am left to wonder what would be the things he would say or advices he would give. I think he would say that fists can’t lie!
After that, and seeing Sai fighting stance, Houri tilted his head to the side, studying it for a second, he did not have a stance from a martial art or something, he only had what he had seen and remembered, and even not knowing how to fight like Nasu, he assumed the initial pose he had seen his older brother take, what he would do after it, it was his own movements. A silent moment ensued, the wind blew leaves and Beau’s eyes focused on the boys, as if waiting for a lightning to strike. The tension was palpable, and yet, something else, something unnamed could be felt, something good. Houri said one last thing before starting and smiled before attacking.
- Do not go easy on me! Please, I wanna see all of your power! I will not hold back too! –
With that, Houri advanced at top speed against Sai, but before he could be reached by either a punch or a kick, he used his tail as a spring and changed his direction to a nearby tree on his right, there, he kicked the tree to build up more speed and flank Sai, he advanced and before landing a kick or a puch, Houri hitted the ground getting stones up and kicking them in a circled move, as if to see how he would react. Meanwhile, a smile was on his face but his eyes burned with the rush of a fight. His moves, where not as clumsy as before, they were almost primal, every move had meaning and nothing was wasted, every momentum was taken advantage of. Sai chuckled lightly when Houri said that he learned everything out of his saiyan instincts alone and that was something he could respect. Although he did train basically on himself, he had the memories from his past lives to lean on and he used those memories in order to make his own body remember how to fight and that was how he, in the span of only two years, managed to master not only the Turtle School, but also the the Soy School he founded when he was Natto, decades ago. They both felt very natural to himself and he was happy to be able to fight like a real warrior now and maybe he could teach this other kid a thing or two.
This kid seemed to have been around the factions as he knew both Nasu and Komatsu and that just made things even more interesting. ”You’ve been around some great warriors. Like you, I have learned to fight on my own, but I remember some things from my past lives, so I could use that as a guideline for my training. Worry not, Houri. You may learn a thing or two with this spar. I will only use the Turtle Style on this fight!” he added, capping himself so he could at least give him a fighting chance.
It was funny how much they were alike - in a way - both homeless saiyan boys with no faction behind them to give full support. Two saiyan boys, alone in the world was a very sad thing, but they were making it through. ”Heh… I lived in a tent in the northern ruins of Namek for the past two years… Before that I didn’t even have a tent!” he commented, so they could relate a tad bit more. ”And I don’t even have a dad and a mom in this life… I just poofed here about two and a half years ago… With this body… It’s a bit of a weird story… I’m still figuring out most of it, there’s plenty of missing information… But yeah! I’m decided to be my own person, not the person I was before. There’s a reason we come back to this world and it’s to start anew!” and his conviction was unshaken.
When Houri finally slid into a somewhat clumsy fighting stance, he immediately recognized it as the Soy School stance. ”Soy School? That wouldn’t work against me… The old me was the one who created this style!” and that revelation, although done in a casual way, was quite big as it basically revealed who Sai’s previous incarnation was. ”And I never go easy! I’m a saiyan!” he chuckled as they took a deep breath before the sparring began.
Houri took the initiative and showed all of his nimbleness and adaptability, but Sai was experienced and his eyes followed his every move while he waited, not moving for a second. As he came to punch him after moving around for a while, he somersaulted backwards, fully avoiding the attack. But while he somersaulted, his tail aimed to wrap itself around Houri’s legs and sweep his feet so he would fall to the ground, which would be followed by Sai dashing forward, aiming to punch Houri’s guts downward, so he would be further pressured into the ground.

– Yeah! They are nice, I mean, Nasu is frightening and I do not know if he can laugh without his face shattering, but I look up to how strong he is, just hope that someday I can fight him as equals, my first meeting with him ended up with me almost dead, Komatsu is nicer though, he, at first, did not believed in me, but after a while he at least tolerated me, from all of these guys, the one who treated me best, was Uncle Miso, he even helped me get to Super Saiyan!–
Houri had a little moment to talk before the sparring began, and knowing that Sai knew not only how to fight, but was a able master in two schools got him impressed, not that it would be very hard, after all, the world was a wonder for him and every new thing was an adventure and discovery, that piece of information, only excited him more, however, his mind had not yet started to work regarding the fact of who founded the Soy school. While advancing to Sai, Houri smiled and questioned him about popping out of thin air.
- How is that? Like bam! You are here! I was born in a lab back in planet Vegeta! –
Houri lacked formal experience, but all his years alone fending for himself in the wastelands of his home planet had forced the kid to become resourceful, always fighting people stronger than him or better equipped made him always aware of how to wait for an opening, under a regular situation, he would be more careful, even more tactical, however he was too excited to actually devise a plan, he just wanted to enjoy this. Despite words, the feeling he had was beyond description.
Even though he had tried to divert Sai’s attention, his plan was up in shambles as he got hit effortlessly by his punch, it was not a matter of power, in raw power Houri was close to him in a manner of speaking, but the experience was something else, he felt it, but he was too proud to just let one punch take him down. Instead of just receiving the punch Houri used his tail just like Sai had done before, however, instead of using it to attack or maneuver his blows, the kid used the tail as a spring to soften the blow and avoid being pressed against the ground.
At this point, his mind had shut down at the conscious level, his instincts had kicked in and with a smile on his face, Houri pulled himself towards Sai’s body using his legs in a motion similar to an arm lock on Sai’s arm, however, his aim was not to stop or immobilize him, he wanted only to gain momentum with his Tail to push himself to the air while twisting his body and forcing Sai to move along. Houri had let go of Sai’s arm mid air while he tried to kick him, whoever the kick was too obvious and only served the purpose of drawing his attention, Houri was in fact planning a spinning back hand punch on Sai’s head. Whether the punch landed or not, the kid would state before charging again towards Sai. [/b]
- Past life? That is new, never had heard of it, can’t imagine how does that feel or is like, the nice part is that you have the fighting skills of someone very seasoned! That punch was something else! I wasn’t just a regular punch! And you know, it just makes me more excited! –
Normally, he would never be attack head on or try to force his way inside a situation where he knew that he had little to no advantage, however this was not a life or death situation, he could afford the luxury of enjoying himself a bit, Sai could see in his body language, he was relaxed, even if clumsy, he was nimble enough to pick up on how the red gi Saiyan was using his stance, he advanced with a single punch but before connecting it Houri moved only an inch closer and used a feint for an elbow blow with a synchronized knee to the ribs. [/b]
- How come you were born with no parents? Are you like me? Lab grown?

Shortly before their clash, they exchanged a few words. ”It’s weird. I kinda know them both, but not really. I never even saw them in this life, but I will take your word for it!” he said, chuckling lightly. He knew they who they were and what they represented and that was precisely why he didn’t want to meet them, or Miso, or even Tomoroko before he found out who he was and what his life meant to him. It was a difficult, yet bold decision. ”And that is pretty much it. I just woke up on a beach on the Southern Islands and that’s the beginning of it.” he admitted, not making a big fuss over it at all, almost as if it was just another wednesday in a person’s life.
In any case, it was enough of chitchat and the sparring session restarted with intensity. Sai’s tail wrapped itself around Houri’s leg and successfully took him down and immediately following that, he came crashing down with the powerful punch to the gut. ”HEEEYYAAAA!!” he shouted as he hit his opponent. But Houri was a resourceful fighter, if not a very skilled one, and managed to use his own tail as a spring to prevent him from crashing with the ground. This stunt gave him enough momentum to catch Sai off-guard for a brief second - he truly didn’t expect his opponent to be able to do something like that - and, although he managed to cross his hands in order to prepare a defence against the kick, it was a feint. ”What?!” he exclaimed a second before he was hit by the back of Houri’s hand right in the face, which sent him sailing through the air adrift.
Sai rubbed his cheek, but it didn’t hurt too much, showing Houri didn’t know how to apply his full potential to his attacks, a trait of those who lacked martial arts knowledge. ”Good opportunism, but shallow blow. You are way too focused on the maneuvers and failing to pack some power and speed behind your attacks. You won’t be able to catch me in a feint again in this fight! Hehe!” he warned as he slid back into his fighting stance. With the brief pause, Houri spoke again, curious about the whole reincarnation kind of thing.
”It’s a bit difficult to get used to it… Emotions and memories you don’t quite comprehend… But ultimately I found a way to make it helpful!” he explained with a smile on his youthful face. As Houri came again, with yet another feint, Sai pretended to fall for that only to, seconds later, move his hand towards his knee strike. ”Rock, Scissors… PAPER!” he shouted as his open palm completely blocked the knee strike. His other hand came flying at the same second aimed at Houri’s face. ”Rock, Scissors… ROCK!” he shouted as he aimed to hit Houri with a powerful haymaker to the face, much faster and stronger than his previous attacks.
”I came from no lab! I came from the universe!” he simply stated as he attacked.

– I told you I could surprise you! But I am not over yet! –
Houri was happy, even proud to be able to land even if a small blow against Sai, that only motivated him to keep the pressure on him, in his mind, if he kept the pace and let out little to no opening to Sai, he would be too busy to land a power blow.
He couldn’t be more wrong, while lost the heat of the battle and his excitement made he did not realize that in a way, he was being played by Sai, his feint, as he had been told, only worked once, and as punishment for his failed attempt, he experienced a full block of his attack and a counter that he would take some time to understand.
The block cut his momentum and the punch sent him flying away crashing hard into a nearby tree. Houri could feel the shock of the wood against his back and not only impressed, he now understood about what the difference between their fighting was at.
With minimal movement, Sai had sent him much farther away and with much more force than he would ever be able with just that small blow. That was a martial artist, and that was something that he needed to learn. In that split second, Houri knew that he had to do.
He looked at Sai returning to his stance and after getting out of the tree, he smiled as proudly as he could, not because he was winning or something like that, in fact, he was being beaten easily, but his spirit was rising, vibrating with a warm energy. It was not just about his ki, it was his soul.
While advancing against Sai again, he muttered to himself while attacking with simple punches and kicks meanwhile focusing on defending against Sai to minimize the blows against him. He knew how to take punches, to be on the losing side, and right now, he was using that on his favor.
- This is going to hurt, but just you wait, I will make your jaw drop! – ( From this moment, listen to this song ) www.youtube.com/watch?v=iP7mxiSx7Jc
His first attacks were straightforward, he took every hit with no mention to avoid them, only softened with his own body and movement. No matter how much punishment he took from the attacks his smile kept broadening. His eyes were discreetly focused on Sai’s waist, elbows, shoulders, knees and ankles, the way he red gi Saiyan moved and the way he put his back in every punch or the way his waist moved with every kick and sway of his body to avoid being hit. Even for an experienced fighter, what he was doing would be considered reckless or even insane, but for Houri, it was the only way he had to learn and improve in the shortest span of time possible, it was his “talent” something that he knew he was born with, a somehow endless potential. Sai could see his punished state, face dirtied and a bit hurt, multiple blows to his armor and clothes, but the more the fight dragged on, more of the kid’s energy would rise with his spirit. He smiled at Sai and taunted. [/b]
- I can keep going with this all day and I won’t run out of energy! And know this! You will never meet a Saiyan like me! You better step up or I will catch up with you! –
He knew he was in a bad situation, his body was being beat blow after blow, but his Saiyan spirit would not give way, at least, not yet, he knew that Sai would push him even harder after it, and now was the time he was waiting for. After a small opening between Sai’s blows, Houri attacked with a punch, but not an ordinary one, this had the full weight of his back and waist supporting it behind the most loyally copied turtle stance, following a kick with the same basis, and with that, his smile broadened and every single blow in sequence was backed by fluid movements and the tensioning and relaxation of every hit he took. Houri started pressing Sai’s until he would use his attack again, he waited for it, and when Sai screamed for the technique name again, he would mimic it and scream Paper blocking his attack with his palm and invading his space hitting him with the elbow of his free arm, forcing it to bend while using his shoulder to hit his chest launching him away and stopping in the turtle stance while stating proudly. [/b]
- I might not have had the same education as my brothers! But I am still the son of Natto! The greatest Saiyan that ever lived! Soo come on! The warm up is over and this is getting really good!
He flared his ki as highly as possible in his blue color and even though not turning super Saiyan, the vibration of the ki was pure joy.[/b]

The battle heatened up immensely as the two young boys clashed against one another. The more skilled red gi boy was taking the upper hand and severely punishing the armoured boy with a flurry of intense, heavy blows. Precise, swift and deadly, the turtle school was a martial arts style practiced and refined by the best warriors of Earth across different ages and had matured to become one of the deadliest, most versatile styles to ever exist, and Sai knew how to make proper use of it and wasn’t pulling his punches. At some points, Houri looked like a ragdoll, there for Sai’s amusement, and he wasn’t wasting any time. The armoured boy looked completely battered after a few minutes of intense punishment and as he attacked, Sai screamed with all his lungs, putting all of his energy into the fight.
”Come on, Houri! Fight back or I’m going to crush you completely! You told me not to hold back and I’m not going to pull out my punches now! That’s what you asked for!!!!” he shouted as he continued to attack. After a few more blows, he prepared to end it with another one the turtle school traditional technique. ”It’s the end of it now! Rock, Scissors… SCISSOR!” he shouted as the index and middle finger aimed to hit a pressure point on Houri’s chest but, to his immense surprise, the other boy managed to mimic the attack with the perfect block to it: ROCK. ”What?!” he exclaimed, surprised. ”Lucky move, but here I go… Rock, Scissors… ROCK!” he shouted as he aimed to throw the cross-punch at Houri’s face, only to be stopped by the PAPER version of it and now he was convinced he had somehow learned the technique while being constantly punished by it.
Sai cracked a smirk, proud of his sparring partner as he was now starting to fight back in a more efficient way by learning the turtle style by being constantly assaulted by it. ”So you are learning as we fight… Impressive!” he complimented, but when Houri spoke again, he was shocked by his statement and froze for a second. ”What?!” he exclaimed, lowering his guard completely and taking a blow that send him flying away, stopping only when his body clashed against a rock, breaking it.
The red gi boy got back to his feet, feeling a bit more of this attack. ”This was a good one… It actually hurt…” he said as he slid back into the fighting stance and pushed both his hands forward, with a serious expression on his face. ”Son of Natto, you said? I will see about that… If you are truly his son, you will be able to pull your weight with this one!” he said as he pulled his hands to the side of his body and began charging all of his ki in between his hands. ”Ka… Me…” he started. His dark eyes were locked into the kid as he analyzed his features and he could definitely see some similarities. But why didn’t he remember this one? He had flashes of Nasu and Komatsu quite often. He had a few flashes of Akiko and even some rare ones of Cambia, but none of this kid. Why was that, he wondered. Maybe it had something to do with how he was created, in a laboratory or something. He needed to check. And this clash would give him some answers before he could actually talk about it.
”Ha… Me…” and now a blue coloured energy sphere was starting to grow in between his hands. This attack wasn’t an ordinary attack. Even when compared to other ki blasts, this was way beyond their regular level.

Indeed, Houri had surprised Sai with his short improvement, however, something else was happening, he did not realize what was it, but something made him lower his guard to the point of being flung away by his punch. The armored kid immediately worried over his partner, but upon seeing him stand up and get on his feet, Houri smiled and for a second turned back to the stance of the turtle school, he was ready to keep exchanging blows, but things were about to escalate. His eyes quickly analyzed Sai’s stance, the way it changed, his legs spread to give more balance, his body lower to the ground, his hands joining and gathering ki. It wasn’t a physical attack anymore, it was something else, something more! When he heard Sai question his statement, Houri smiled, he was used to people not believing him, and with that, copied Sai’s stance while speaking to himself.
- I can sense the energy and aura around him, I can’t just take this and learn from it! I will have to learn as I go! –
This technique, was different from his blue cannon, he did not overcharged the energy on his hand, he did not held it inside of his body, he just focused outward and directed every ounce of power to it. It was effective, and positively deadly. He smiled over the danger, and with it, did the same. The armored Saiyan adjusted his stance, breathed in, out, and looked at Sai one last time and did the unthinkable, he closed his eyes and for a second, lowered his energy to zero taking a millisecond to sense it all.
Sai would be able to feel it, Houri at one point had zero power level, he wasn’t suppressing it, he had just dispersed it as he felt the whole area and its fluctuation of energy as it was. Houri could feel the trees, the grass, the water, the animals and Sai’s rising energy. His hands now were close to his waist in the same position, his energy started to rise up with increasing speed, but not only that, something else was added to his energy, it wasn’t just his ki, but his spirit and soul were behind it as if it was synchronized to the nature around him. Houri used his ki sensing skill to match the exact output of Sai’s energy to the very amount and started with his eyes closed, to mimic the sound he was hearing. [/b]
– I am proud to be his son! And someday I will meet him and make him proud of me! So I will show you just how fast I can grow! KA ME–
The energy being gathered by Houri differed by one single detail, it wasn’t just being gathered from his body, the energy sphere was being composed of energy from outside too, it was calm, peaceful, but at the same time, charged with a conviction capable of moving a mountain with sheer willpower. Houri could hear his heartbeat, he could hear the wind and the nature, the crackling of the energy, and felt the energy condense. [/b]
- My brothers are way ahead of me, they know the martial arts, they had my dad with them! So, I have go even farther to catch up! Otherwise, how can I say I am his son if I am just the runt born from the lab? HA! ME!
His energy was at his peak, just like Sai’s, but the moment the energy hit the maximum, Houri took his ki to the maximum of his base form and made it flow entirely to his hands and at the same time Sai’s attacked, he released his own energy, however, he had not stopped at the exact amount of energy Sai’s had put in the blast, he had put it all he had, all he was in that. His mind, his heart, his soul and his ki and shouted! [/b]
- HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
