Personality
Danate is the daughter of Sarai and Heizen, her father being one of the current rulers of their race. Despite this prolific position, the girl has a completely different mindset when it comes to the world around her. Joyous, positive, optimistic, it is incredibly difficult to catch Danate having a bad day. Danate is able to quite easily entertain herself through either drawing, reading or simply observing life around her. Heritage wise, people may have expected an air of superiorty or arrogance to her, but she harbors no such thing. Danate is excruciatingly aware of how imperfect her fighting style, technique and powers are, thus being arrogant simply does not suit. In many aspects, Danate openly rejects any notion that she could be considered a princess, and openly rejects the notion that she ought to train to become strong. The girl only cares for finding her own path in life. A path that leads her to a happiness, which her family has, thus far, been unable to provide.
In effect of this rejection, Danate will introduce herself under a different alias, more often than she will use her name; Kestri. In essence this is the girl stating, clearly, that she will walk her own path, dissatisfied with having her fate and life planned out for her, by individuals no longer present in her life. The girl also absolutely loathes the contemptuous idea of step parents. In the case of Danate and Nakiya, there has been nothing but a strong dislike portrayed from Danate's side. Possibly because whatever little quality time the girl got to spend with her father, had been stolen away by that wicked witch.
The girl's path, thus far, has largely been unchosen. The desire of Danate is to travel through the different universes, meet an amount of interesting beings of different races, learn and understand their way of life. Perhaps through this understanding, Danate will find the path that is most suited for her. The heart of an adventurer, an open mind, a complete lack of arrogance; The girl could practically befriend anyone, as long as they were willingly civil in their approach. When, however, it does come to engaging with trouble, Danate will often prefer avoiding conflict all together, or alternatively, fleeing from the conflict before she can get tangled up in something she cannot handle. If forced to fight, Danate will do what she can to protect herself and the things she care for. Thus far in her life, she has been largely ineffective.

Backstory
Expectations, disappointments, surrender and acceptance. Those words, in the grand scheme of things, sum up Danate's experience with life until this point. Brought into the world, a regular childhood was never in the cards. Magic was used to significantly speed up the girl's aging, until she would be more capable of taking care of herself. Likely because neither her father, nor her mother, found themselves living lives where taking care of a growing girl was possible to them. A fact that seemed even more apparent when Danate's mother mysteriously disappeared from their lives... Then, roughly three years ago, Heizen moved on from Danate's biological mother, hooking up with Nakiya.
Nakiya and Danate's first meeting wasn't the worst experience. There had been respectful bowing. There had been some rather harsh comments. Nothing the girl wouldn't have expected from a ruthless ruler. It was everything that followed in it's wake that seemed absolutely unacceptable. Prior, Danate had been the only child in Heizen's life. Even when she hadn't been, the girl was his only biological child. Heizen had given his attention to the step-children of both Nyxosa and Nakiya, although Danate had always felt somewhat special in that regard. Now, suddenly, there was going to be another. A boy. A younger brother. Spawned by none other than that witch. The step sisters had been attempting to train up Danate, to make her a useful asset to the family. It had all but failed. Danate's power didn't seem to have changed much, over an ever growing duration. Nakiya's attitude shifted. Soon, Danate was seen as worthless. Yet Heizen had made a decision to stay with the witch...
A decision Danate absolutely could not tolerate, even in the slightest. Nakiya was, from Danate's point of view, nothing more than a power hungry witch, who had next to no redeeming qualities. Nakiya would consistently do whatever she wanted, seemingly caring only for herself. Perhaps it was purely jealousy, seeing them shower each other in affection while Danate herself was left by the wayside. At least so it felt. When first Danate learned that Nakiya had been sealed within a blade, a self righteous got what she deserved was all that Danate had to offer their Queen. When, however, Danate's father met his demise, being sent straight to hell for all eternity...
Danate realized that she had never been alone. Despite how little attention she felt was given to her, despite how lonely and abandonned she would often feel, how emotionally distant the whole situation was... Compared to being left alone with a royal staff that she cared nothing for, the life which she had led before had been a paradise. With the absence of both parental figures though, came a new sense of freedom. A freedom to finally spread out her non-existant wings and soar. The girl decided that the time had come to face the world on her own terms! Now, all she needed was a bit of practice, a bit of money to get off this stinking planet, and she would begin exploring the whole galaxy ahead of her.
