Drei "no, you cannot address me as 'android Drei'."
|
Personality
Drei comes off as misanthropic, condescending, and highly irritable. Sometimes even sociopathic, depending who she’s interacting with. Her sour attitude goes mostly towards organic beings, though becomes notably worse towards those who have voluntarily mechanized themselves. The former being out of jealousy and the latter out of disgust, both feelings she hides behind a superiority complex. Part of her programming prevents her from letting this prejudice affect her work though, and so she’s left with being passive aggressive and snarky towards nearly everyone she meets.
Aside from her misanthropic demeanor and height making her seem unapproachable and intimidating, Drei isn’t truly super robotic when it comes down to social interactions. One could talk to her just as easily as one might talk to any other normal person. One of her most favorite topics and one she is most knowledgeable on is firearms and heavy weaponry. Being efficient in combat is a large part of her job, and getting to work so closely with different kinds of weaponry and tech makes being an android just a little more tolerable.
Before her mechanization she was carefree and headstrong, known to tackle issues head on with no room left for being discreet. Her personality showed in how she preferred to take down opponents, closing in with overwhelmingly violent blows and electrical attacks. She had a personal preference towards getting her opponent into a grapple and subduing them through sheer force, slamming them into nearby surfaces or throwing them against solid surfaces.
Though it was mostly while being intoxicated, Drei could be quite flirtatious as well, although she was rather passive aggressive about it. Dropping hints and making only slight nods towards a potential interest when she knew she could get away with it without having to risk what she feared could be an awkward situation. She was basically an odd sort of mix of shy and flirty, despite her normal response to issues. One way to put it might be; you can't punch a bad pickup line in the face- even and especially when it came from your own mouth,

Backstory
Before the damage that forced her to make the choice between mechanization or death, Drei was a very different person from her current mechanized self. The same capacity for her dry and dark sense of humor was all there, though she was much more lively and animated- far less bitter and more.. kittenish. She was a lightning Elemi who worked as a mercenary, offering her abilities to the highest bidder for whatever job needed doing. Some could easily argue that she were more of a hitman, if not for her direct approach to conflict.
None could argue that she had a talent for her line of work, but if it hadn't been for her own over-confidence and bad habits, she wouldn't have made as many enemies as she did which would lead her to what should have been her final fight. Becoming as high up as she was in the world of organized crime, she had plenty of people after her who wished for her downfall. When she was brought down in a fight, left in a state where anyone else likely would have died, she had accumulated so much infamy that it was decided she would be denied passing into Other World.
Against her will, Drei was resuscitated and then mechanized. Her body made almost entirely machine, and if some part of her wasn't made mechanical, it was given augmentations. The part of her most effected in this regard was her brain, as a lot of the damage she sustained in the fighting was done to her frontal lobe. It was nothing beyond repair with today's technology- even a bunch of well organized criminals had the means to put her mostly back together.
Still though, with the damage done and the shoddy repair job, Drei would have future difficulties with things such as sympathy and empathy, and her ability to make correct judgments. Her sense of touch would be dramatically affected as well, made worse by the pain inhibitors forced on her. On a bright side however, her motor functions and her ability to see and hear would be greatly enhanced, as such things would have been seen as necessary to her original intended purpose behind being mechanized: being a weapon.
Those who mechanized her attempted to force her compliance by means of putting a bomb inside her, though once she had fully come back to herself and realized her situation, she flew into a rage setting off her innate abilities as someone who was previously a lightning Elemi causing the bomb inside her chest to short circuit. With no other means to make her obey, Drei was able to defeat her captors and make her escape.
Though she despises her continued existence as something mostly machine, her near-death experience serves as a wake up call that she needs to change her ways. She takes advantage of being an android to change her appearance and name, adopting part of the designation she had been assigned by her previous captors. She hopes to apply what skills she has in signing up with the Saiyans on Sadal.

OFFENSIVE/VARIANT
- [SOT-1]Mercenary Grapple
A standard grapple with a sort of fancy name, Drei grabs an opponent and follows it with another attack.
[25% PL]
- [SVT-1] Mercenary Neckbreaker
In a practiced maneuver, Drei hoists her opponent over her shoulder placing them back to back and then drops them savagely on the ground, twisting their neck backwards in a sickening show of force.
[30% PL, Stun, 1 Stamina]
- [SVT-2] Splitting the Mountain
Putting an electrical charge out through her arm, Drei paralyzes her opponent and then performs a maneuver similar to the Neckbreaker. The primary difference being that as she drops, there's a sudden discharge of energy that unloads into her opponent's spine directly.
[60% PL, Stun, 2 Stamina]
