The Earthling Saiyan had long since returned to Earth after his time off the radar; not only he had he managed to fit himself with the likes of Super Shenron and disappeared for quite a while, but he had soon returned and managed to at least make an appearance back in the greater scheme of things. Or did he? He had met Sai, and yet, there was indeed something that he was currently lacking.
Or rather, the world was. The man had long since been thinking, after having established himself back on the Turtle Island— how many dangers Earth had been put through? How many would it still live to see? The dear old planet was already gone, with nothing much other than a newborn star left to host them. It was nearly the same when it came to appearances, yet, the Earthling veteran could indeed tell there was a difference.
But, it wasn’t like he was too nostalgic or anything. In the end, a planet was a planet and all of its inhabitants were now enjoying themselves over their new resort. However, the man had a bigger picture in his mind; not to allow anyone else to harm this planet again. Nor this, nor others.
“It’s not like this will suddenly make Earth invincible or whatever. But, at the moment, there’s nothing— no one who wills to take responsibility for it.”
The man hummed softly as he finally flew his way to the Timeless Lookout. The orange-dressed man slowly looked over the scene without too much of a surprise; nobody was there at all. Or was it truly so? Soon, the man inhaled and soon breathed out through his lungs as he began calling out names.
“Kami?!— I mean… Galen! Are you here?!”
He blinked, unsure of whether or not he’d have had the chance to meet his old friend. “Maybe he’s sleeping,” - thought the man to himself as he silently clicked his tongue, taking a few steps around. The man sighed as he folded his arms over his chest, while one hand moved over to scratch the back of his head, ruffling through his hair briefly.
“Alright. I guess I can’t just wait, can I?”
The man soon spread his feet wide, some dust lifting across the tiles as they soon began to crack as his power suddenly dangerously burst, as the man roared fiercely— he was overwhelmed by golden energy, one that soon faded away for the scene to reveal his transformation.
He was currently transformed into a Super Saiyan Three.
[Super Saiyan Three [x40] | Power Level: 21.771.440]
Yet, Cornatto was quite concerned at the signature of his battle power.
“What’s this… I feel weaker than the last time I’ve used it,” - commented the man as he looked down at himself, blinking briefly. Soon, a mysterious ‘object’ surfaced from the back of the Saiyan— a golden tail. The man had never questioned it too much, nor did he really do too much to show it off; but he had grown a new one during his trip with the Universal Dragon. He looked over it briefly, shrugging. “It can’t be because of the tail, right?”
The Saiyan let out just the faintest of groans; this did annoy him a little, but he guessed he’d try and investigate about this later. Soon, his attention resurfaced over to the edge of the Lookout as he walked by it and slowly looked down at the skies, before he tried and reach out to the mind of anybody, of those with kind and good spirit, who would care to listen.
“Earthlings! I am Cornatto— I know not plenty of you might know about me, at all. But, I am only here to ask that all of us can unite! The Earth has faced many dangers in the past years, both in recent and ancient times. And it hurts me. I am sure many of you, out there, also feel the same. Am I not right? Then, this is our chance!”
The Earthling Saiyan formed a smirk. He did not quite forget the legends of this place, ever since he was a youthful man; the stories of the Earth’s Special Forces. It was a group of fighters that were dedicated to the protection of the planet— and as far as he could tell, from his experience back in the Afterlife, some of them had even been affiliated to King Kai at some point in history!
This was the time.
The Z-Fighters had to come back.
“Follow this energy… No matter how strong you are,” - he paused briefly. “We are all here to gather our power and grow stronger all together! We’ll be the Earth— and the Universe’s first line of defense; we’ll be the Z-Fighters!”
Cornatto's coming back with a bang! Attempting to claim Z-Fighter Leader. Also, switching the transformation path to the Second Branch just this once, together with all the other character revamps, with Nasu 's permission, unless any other staff member would rather discuss such a decision, that's also an option. Just approach either me or Nasu about it! Using a Tail Regeneration trait, too, for this.

Ever since he came back to life and assumed the mantle of Guardian of Earth, Galen had spent most of his time observing the world and trying to learn even more about the different people that inhabited his world. His time as the Tower Keeper of Korin's Tower helped him understanding much of the responsibility, but the scope of work of the Guardian involved the whole Blue Planet, and he had a lot of catching up to do. So many different people, cultures and beliefs. And he was the one God to watch them, to guide them from afar, and to intervene when things became too dire for the normal people to properly deal with without catastrophic consequences for the world. He was at peace, however, as he knew that his lover and Queen was taking proper care of the political affairs of the world, and even the recent rise of the Red Ribbon army wasn't a mirror of what it used to be in the past.
Things were good.
But even then, being a seasoned warrior as he was, he couldn't help but to feel that bit of unease inside his heart, as if terrible things were just on the corner, lurking and waiting for an opportunity before wreaking havoc on the world he swore to protect. And despite the fact that him and Holly were here, and that the Red Ribbon army was not an enemy of the world anymore, it still lacked a powerful group to act as the true shield of mankind. The Z-Fighters. Unfortunately, Galen didn't know how he could actually work on getting the group going. Rensu was still on the otherworld and he wasn't sure the boy was willing to come back and help, he was a conflicted, yet good-hearted boy who jumped from faction to faction in search of himself.
In truth, there was only one person he could think of, but he didn't know if he could actually ask him that much. But fate works in a very odd way. As he meditated on the matter, Cornatto sought for him and for a moment, he wasn't sure if he heard him right. Was it really him? It seemed like it, the energy felt like his. Galen slowly walked to the edge of the Timeless Lookout and his eyes gazed upon the horizon. For some, it would seem like he was just thinking, but in truth he was using his power as the Guardian, the Far-Seeing Arts. And he finally found his friend.
He was different, he had a tail Galen never remembered seeing, and he had this resolve on him. A subtle smile appeared on the Guardian's face as he walked back to his temple, still not answering the call, but listening to all of it. Inside the temple, he picked up a special orange gi, one that belonged to the greatest hero the universe had ever seen, and with that under his arm, he flew away and to the base of the timeless lookout, where a thin red stick connected it to the Tower of Korin. Touching that stick, it immediately shrunk into a small pole, which Galen placed on a sheath. "It is time..." he spoke to himself.
Serge, who was helping on the lookout, approached. "So... This is the guy you were waiting for, Galen?" and the Guardian nodded with conviction. "He is." and Serge smiled. "Then I will wait for the outcome here. If he is true to his words, you can count on my sword." and Galen nodded. "Thank you, my friend!" and without further ado, Galen jumped off the lookout, landing on his flying Nimbus and heading straight to the source of Cornatto's energy.
The man had made an announcement— a statement for all that lived on Earth and had suffered the pain of loss, defeat and perhaps, even the most tragic that could be the one of memory. He recalled that plenty of people could easily forget and move on, but… not everyone could. The Earthling Saiyan was one of them, even though he didn’t quite dwell on things… he did like to go ahead and dig back down in the depths of his mind.
He had plenty of memories he could try and remember or at least recollect a few hints, they were mostly associated with his youthful days— not that his appearance was currently any different from the Cornatto that he regularly was.
He was interested to find out more at times, about himself and what truly happened. Even, before he was actually born. One of these examples was actually the Z-Fighters group. A bunch of benevolent defenders that gave it all to defend Earth and fight evil, and even then, who knew how many stories had gone untold. However, there was one thing… or rather individual in particular that Cornatto respected.
Son Goku.
He was the figure he had learned of during his Turtle training— simply an amazing person, as described by both the books and just Cornatto himself, too, at this point, as he had a renowned admiration for the fighter. If only he could have had the chance to truly meet him… he’d have definitely loved it.
The man actually had no idea that the mythological figure was actually a Saiyan himself, actually. He only knew that he had been formally trained by the legend itself, Muten Roshi, considered to their days one of the greatest martial artists to ever live. However, his whereabouts or doings were basically very vague, possibly lost to the ages of time. Yet, to this day, Corn considered him almost like a role figure.
Now, though, there was something more important to handle at once as the man waited, with his arms folded over his torso while he looked around. Was he wrong or… nobody was coming? Honestly, he was… surprised? Earth was usually full of strong people that rushed at the presence of somebody stronger, almost as if they were a gank squad— yet, so far, nobody was even approaching.
He sighed. “Alright, this is kind of weird. Last time I came here it was filled with people doing nothing other than standing— yet, now that everyone has been summoned… Oof. Maybe there’s on another planet now? It’s so weird.”
At this point, the man even wondered what would have been the next step; he couldn’t revive a faction without any members, right? It was kind of pointless, at that point. Maybe he just had to retry at another date, maybe when Earth would get a few stable fighters on its grounds. However. He was soon halted from just flying away, as he felt an energy signature approaching. It was a strong aura, too.
“Huh. Wait, I know who this is…”
The Earthling Saiyan soon formed a smirk as the figure of Galen became clear to him and the man waved towards him. “Hey, Galen!” - exclaimed the man as he floated towards him, curiously approaching. He was one, if not, the only student he had ever trained… and definitely, the best guy when it came down to the Earthlings, although he possessed the heart of a warrior. Galen was the Kami, but Corn was sure that he wouldn't have dismissed the man’s idea, not at all.
“You’ve heard my announcement? What do you think about it?”
(Shiori is an android. Therefore she has no ki to sense).
Shiori had a problem on her hands. Specifically the boneheaded decision making of one native Saiyan. He seemed alright enough, so she didn’t want to escalate things and being in the military. But at the same time she couldn’t just ignore what was going on either. When notable powers were gathering she couldn’t just ignore it. What she had done was notify her superiors, but requested that she handle the situation alone unless back up was needed.
Shiori flew towards the strange structure in the sky, the floating platform that had no right to existing there. In normal circumstances the RRA would have done some research into it and try to figure out its purpose and what made it tick. But there was just so much that they had to do. It was daunting keeping track of the high level beings, and this outing was proving that first hand.
Unlike the last time she was here, Shiori didn’t bother to use her stealth equipment. She flew up from below, her scanners assessing the situation. Down on the ground was another strong being who appeared to be human. And then of course there was the Saiyan. This guy was a complete enigma to her. There was quite a bit she was going to have to set straight with this being. She floated her way to the ground, settling in five feet away from the Saiyan. Her cold red eyes gazing unrelentingly into the alien’s own.
”It Isn’t my place to question the culture of foreign species. I can’t help but be perplexed by your view on things though. You release a telepathic message calling people to form a vigilante group to supposedly defend the Earth. Normally you’d be treated as an enemy forming a hostile force. Yet if your intent was to create a secret group, then you wouldn’t have sent out a mass telepathic message. That’s the only type that I can receive from long range. What is your objective?”
Shiori spoke in the monotone voice she was most known for. Once again, it was difficult to get a read on her. Granted the last time she was here, she hadn’t looked at anyone with the steely eyed gaze she was giving the Saiyan right now. Was she legitimately angry with him? He certainly had put her in a unique situation, that was for sure.
The Earthling Saiyan had long since awaited for a response, yet it looked like nobody else was going to come along for this… it was quite sad. He didn’t exactly expect the entirety of Earth to come and join, but when compared to the numbers of fighters that once stood on this surface— it was definitely concerning. What had become of all the people he had seen and met in the past? They did not die, did they? Perhaps, retirement was truly a thing.
But well, not for Cornatto! He was going to keep fighting as long as he could still breathe. He was just in his thirties, too, he had a lot of time still ahead of him. Now, though, what he did not quite expect was the visit of a certain figure he had only managed to gaze at once— it was petite compared to the man, but managed to quite catch the eye still by her outstanding white hair and crimson pupils on black eyes.
He did not see her coming right away until she finally showed herself. She was an Android, one of those mechanical beings that were manipulated for the enhancement of their strength. Corn did not have the greatest memories about Androids, on the other hand.. seeing one was still somewhat worrisome for him, but— a girl who was aligned with Earth did not deserve to be told any of that, as his gaze remained neutral rather, as he stared at her.
“Foreign species?”
He briefly repeated, as he easily wagged his tail from left to right. But he admittedly chuckled at the enemy and secret group part, as he formed a quiet smirk… until he reverted to his base form, dropping his power. Perhaps, to show that he did not mean any harm.
“It… ought to be secret,” - commented the man briefly. “But, sadly I can not take the luxury to go ahead and recruit good warriors one by one. I’ve done that once and trust me… it takes forever.”
Cornatto almost wished to sigh in recollection to the whole tournament of power recruitment process.
“But, you see. My objective is… to protect the planet, basically. True, I have not been the most reliable and I usually disappear, but that’s why I want to do this now. The world’s gone through all sorts of things… and I wasn’t there. It makes me feel like a bastard all the time—… and, I thought that if I’d revive this, I’d be able to make up for it. If really I can not attend to something, I can at least wish that my fellow Z-Fighters will be able to. I am not here to cause harm or anything, you know? I was born and raised here.”
The Earthling Saiyan, though, was seriously… almost sweating because of the eye she gave her. It reminded him of the angry gazes his own mate would give him back then… and they were terrifying. No matter she was an Android and possibly not even all that powerful, she still had one hell of a fiery spirit possibly, underneath her circuits and serious tone.
The smirk on the Saiyan’s face awoke something within her. a foreign feeling infected her body, building up inside of her and tightening her chest. This sensation felt vaguely familiar? What was it? She recalled something similar from when she was human, but it had been so long since was a flesh and blood Earthling. She had forgotten many emotions in the process of turning into an Android. She ignored it for now and continued pressing the Saiyan.
“If you were born here naturally than you should be well aware of your infractions. I’m pushing aside the main issue for the time being, so that I can focus on a more immediate flaw in your plan. If you recruit people at once like this, there’s a higher probability that one or more will go rouge in some capacity. Creating a reliable defense force takes time and careful conditioning. It’s not something that you can rush. Especially since you don’t need to speed up the process in the first place. The Earth is already protected by me, the Queen, and the rest of the Red Ribbon Army.”
Shiori crossed her arms, her eyes boring into the Saiyan’s own. She had to nip this in the bud and make him understand that he couldn’t do things like this. The Android wasn’t going to let this Saiyan get his way and build a group independent from the ruling monarch and the RRA.
“If you want to protect the planet, then you’ll go through the proper procedure and apply for the Red Ribbon Army. If you find others interested in serving the best interests of Earth, direct them towards the Red Ribbon Army. All applicants will be rigorously reviewed and given a diligent background check. If you pass, than you can serve your planet and your queen. The world needs order, not a misguided vigilante causing more issues stemming from his psychological shortcomings.”
Shiori was aware that the Z fighters had been an organization that existed in the past. But that was from a different era. Right now the Earth needed stability and order. And Cornatto was threatening that by trying to create his own group.
The Earthling Saiyan did not quite catch hold of much of a reaction from her, other than her stern eyes, that truly could be quite something to be careful of— not that… he was scared, but they could be truly quite imposing. But well, at the moment what could only truly terrify him was not her looks… which could be captivating, but possibly try and find a contrast to his idea.
Which, she did seem to express in one way or the other. The man did not exactly seem to align himself with the ‘infraction’ term, he did know what it meant… but he honestly saw no harm to what he was trying to do; in his heart, he just wanted to do right, therefore he did little more than just stare at her briefly.
“Hm. I guess I did not consider that far— even because, if there were troublemakers, I’d just deal with them myself,” - commented the man, without giving any ‘goodie’ talk about how karma or righteousness would have gotten to any with malice: he was outright a warrior, a seasoned one and a Saiyan. If there was somebody trying to play him, he would have made sure to teach ‘em a lesson.
But, he didn’t really feel like looking for a meaningless fight.
He was here to prevent harm.
Though, he admittedly smiled at the mention of the Red Ribbon Army. Not that he didn’t take them seriously, but… that was cute, to say the least, in his opinion, at least. But Corn did not feel like pointing that out quite yet, as he just silently wagged his tail, allowing her to speak furthermore.
“Wait, ‘’you’ll’’?— Sorry, lady. But protecting a planet does not require a license… and I don’t want to join an army or anyone else, for that matter. I am happy you proposed but, no. I don’t think I will. I have spent my whole life fighting, once, for the Alliance… then for the Galactic Patrol— I am over with factions and similar organizations.”
He chuckled and silently rested his arms over his chest. “As simple as that. I am not here to make a group. All of you can have soldiers and flying machines, but… when a God of Destruction or a Super Saiyan God will appear— who will stand to defend this planet? I am sure you will… but how can a defender who can not protect themselves even try and look out for others?”
Cornatto returned a deep gaze into the Android as he fearlessly and bluntly floated ahead, approaching her ever so slowly.
“I appreciate people who will always stand up, no matter what. I am like that. But, do not waste your life.”
The Earthling Saiyan soon cleared his throat, somewhat backing away before he wagged his tail left and right. “I am here to unite a group of remarkable people. Not to make a big agency or army. I am here to put together a bunch of people who can work together, even as friends. I will take your words to heart and not endorse this— I will just pick people as I meet trustworthy ones. And before you ask; no… you can not change my mind. My resolve is unbreakable, sadly.”

Chapter 0.2: Rise Sleeping Warriors
No one may be behind you one day, but you can't let that drag you down.
She had been residing peacefully within her home near the beachfront of the southern isles. Another meal being prepped as she thought of life back on Namek. It was weird getting used to once again the nights that occurred here. After having been on a planet that experienced the sun twenty four hours a day, it was hard not to miss it even a tiny bit. Now that she was back at her home on Earth however, she couldn't help but still feel different when it came to seeing the moon. The night that once seemed so friendly to her...and Liari...now seemed so foreign, so strange. How she missed the old days sometimes. The thoughts only continued as she stared to the ocean tide rolling up.
"I'm not looking at these with only my own eyes no longer, she's still inside me. We may almost be one...but not yet, there's still the final divide that separates us...how much longer though?"
Isabella would begin to say to herself, questioning her own being as she felt a voice intrude her mind. It didn't sound hostile, but rather...joyful. She could feel any malice come from it, and as she thought of the idea coursed through her mind. She found herself thinking back to the promise she made to the guru. Protect it...protect her jewel...
As she began to stand, wiping off the sand from her waist, she felt for the energy signal that had been sent out. It was strong alright, but she couldn't feel malice from it. Her decision was made clear. As her feet lifted from the sand, only the footprints having been left, she began soaring towards the round up location. Her gaze didn't even turn back as the tide erased her footprints, she knew her decision.
It was as she began approach that she noticed only the smaller crowd. A frown was hidden in her thoughts however as she spotted the android girl. She still remembered her from the Tower all right... It made her glad to live in seclusion at the least. Then she saw him next, the long haired male may have changed his appearance with this form, but even without eyebrows, how could she ever forget such a friendly and goofy look?
"Cornatto? I heard your message, I'm ready to give it my all for our jewel of a world.", She would begin to speak softly as they began moving ever closer. They hoped the turtle master recognized her from the tower. Their red eyes staring right at the two figures, a smirk held on her face as she let loose her current limits. She knew she could push further...she could feel it. While she lacked transformations like the Saiyan did, hopefully her base power would be enough to provide some help, of some kind at least.
Cornatto had a surprising amount to say. For once it actually made at least some amount of sense. Aliens did seem to love running their mouths at every opportunity they could get. Well, it did at first anyway. Then it devolved into strange talk about deities. Even her AI enhanced brain couldn’t make sense of that.
“I don’t believe in deities. The existence of such beings defies any sort of logic. If you worship such Gods than I won’t trample upon your beliefs. Rest assured we can handle anything that comes our way.”
Shiori lowered her arms to her sides as the Saiyan approached. It was best not to let her guard down against someone like this. Then… a response. Her eyes narrowed at the Saiyan. For the first time she didn’t have an emotionless gaze on her face.
“As long as I live for this planet, my life is far from wasted. Unlike the waste of time it would be to attempt to make you cease this foolishness. I won’t make a move against you unless I’m ordered to. But your group is going to be monitored as long as you’re on this planet. If any of you step out of line, you will be treated like any other being under the law. Make sure your friends understand the possible consequences that could come from this.”
Shiori’s sensors picked up a new power level approaching. She turned her head to see the pink skinned being she had seen the last time she was here. She only spared her a couple of seconds before focusing back on Cornatto. It looked as though one person was already joining his group. She didn’t like it one bit: if he was gathering powerful beings than she doubted they could be stopped even if Earth threw all their resources into fighting them. But she would never admit that out loud.
