Chapter Three: Resurrection
Her red hair always left him stunned by how vibrant it was.
The saiyan was following close behind Anima as she lead him towards the spot she had found. The two had originally been back at the pub in the village talking over their latest kills in the hunt. Anima had managed to one up him with the arrow shot on the pterodactyl, but he had came close to beating her with his own raptor kills. The elder had approached the two with a mission, a strange energy reading had came from the forest. The two being one of the best working groups in the village couldn't help but be rearing to accept the mission and investigate the strange disturbances. How could they say no to such a large prize reward after all?
"Anima I think were getting close to the location marked on the map!", Sine would shout out towards his friend as he would jump from tree line to tree line. It was typically safer moving this way when out in these woods even with their weighted clothing on. There were always so many monsters out here, that moving by the ground could be viewed as dangerous, deadly even. It was why they always tried to build their forward camps in the ground itself, or up in the tree lines. It made it harder for something unwanted to enter and pick off at their supplies. "This is the place?", Anima would begin to say as she began studying the scarred wood on the tree line. It looked like it had been burned by something bad alright. Though it's been a long time since it happened, the tree log still had markings left upon it. "Looks like some kind of battle went on here, the markings are too old to say how long though. Maybe someone nearby could explain what happened.", Anima would finish saying as she would jump down from the tree line and landing on the ground with a thud as her boots collided with the dirt.
Sine was quick to follow after as he jumped down. Though the sound that came from his didn't sound like dirt. As he looked down, he saw the cloth of a symbol of some kind. The cloth was far too ruined by age for him to properly recognize it however. When his gaze returned upward however, he began to spot something in the distance. "Anima! I got something over this way!", his voice loud from the yelling, would be enough to rouse anyone from a slumber. Anima for one would be one of those to hear it as she would turn towards the saiyan male, running towards her partner as she began to approach with Sine toward the figure in the distance. Sine however couldn't help but wonder if just perhaps this was the source of the mission they were supposed to find? Talk about some easy pay if this was to be the case in the end.

It was as if she had been asleep for a minute, that's how long it seemed to her but she knew it had been longer than that. All those bugs and insects crawling all over her body, until she awoke with a jolt and inhaled deeply as if she was shocked at dying. She sat up and looked around confused, she then heard a voice that seemed unfamilar to her and she wanted to go and investigate it but, she hadn't moved in a long time and well she found it difficult to move. She then looked down at her injury and widened her eyes as she touched it a little before wincing in pain.
How had she survived a direct injury to the heart, she would never know. But she would find out and hunt the one who had done it to her. An eye for an eye of course. She would shout out loud to anyone who would be able to hear her, depending if they were in the vicinity. ""Hey! I am here! If you can hear me! I am here!"

Chapter Three: Resurrection
The swift sound of a voice, that was all he needed to hear...
Sine felt his walk begin to pick up in pace, a jog...no a run now as he began to run towards the knocked down figure. They were alive, that was what mattered. He felt his heart burst into a heat as he began running as fast as he could, beating Anima in speed even. He wasn't going to let the mission fail like this. They had life, in this moss overgrown, pile of waste that a battle had taken long ago. They had someone alive, someone who wouldn't end up like the rest here. That feeling inside, that heat he felt burning in his heart. That was what made him push, and go. As he would approach the black haired figure, he would come to slide as his feet kicked up dirt from his sudden halt.
"Are you okay?"
Those three words would escape him as he looked to her. The dirt covering her armor, the bugs that were now leaving off it. How long had she been in trouble here for? How long had she been stuck out here alone to end up like this? He would look towards Anima as she began approaching. Her bow was pulled and aimed, not towards the figure on the ground, but as a sort of over watch for the two. "Is she injured at all? Do we need to take her back to the village or the capital?", her voice would ring, still younger as the young adult she was. Her fiery red eyes would look towards Shinoa before changing to watch the woodlands around them. One could never know when something was to arrive after all.
"That depends on her entirely Anima; do you think you're alright to walk miss? If so it might be closer to head towards our village. If not, we might have to travel to the capital to get better care...", Sine would ask at first, looking toward Shinoa as he awaited a response. He didn't want to be stuck out here when night was to arrive, and chances were, as he looked back to Anima. He could see it in her own eyes, she didn't want to either. Night was always more dangerous than day, especially with all the hostile creatures that existed in these out lands.

"I do not know how long I have been here. All I know is that I survived a direct hit to the heart and I am amazed by it. I think Sawa killed me, there was all sorts of different people here when I died. Kaitara, some cat lady. A Mob boss. I'm not sure anymore. As for your question. The city, there is someone I need to speak to in the City."
Shinoa said as she looked up at the two strangers and just coughed lightly. Even though she was alive, she still felt dead, her bandits were nowhere to be seen now and hopefully these people didn't connect the dots as to why she was here in the first place for she was the Bandits leader, although her mask wasn't on. In fact that was rusted and damaged greatly due to the weather. She began to stand up slowly as she grunted a little to signify the pain she was in at the moment. However, she figured she would have to do something different than lead a bandit group, she would have to join back up with the SDF. She would have to work her way back up to the rank she had before.
Although she didn't mind it at all, she loved work and that conversation she had with Kaitara in the afterlife had helped her a little bit. Or maybe she could talk to whoever ran Sadala in the first place, maybe they would be able to help her in the long run.

Chapter Three: Resurrection
Well...She was alive, that was one thing at the very least
As she began to speak her words though, of all these foreign names, some pretty strange figures as well. He couldn't help but start to worry if she had some head trauma as well. The descriptions they were giving just felt so weird compared to the norm of things. Especially the claim of dying, a direct hit to the heart as well. It just didn't all add up. Either way they were going to need a professional doctor to take a look at her, which meant another trip to the capital. He supposed it would be good to see their robo friend once again. He seemed pretty nice before, and was even part of the defense here of their home world. If there was anyone who was going to know who they needed to get this girl to see. It was going to be him.
"Alrighty then, Anima head on back towards the village, tell them I'll be back soon. I'll make sure she gets to the capital alright before I leave her. Then I'll head right on back. I promise.", Sine would begin to say as he would turn toward the red head. He hated that they had to split like this, but the village needed to know that it was going to take him a bit longer to get back.
As Anima would look towards Sine, then back towards Shinoa, she would give a nod before she would slide her bow onto her back. She would jump on top of the tree and shout towards the two. "Alrighty then Sine, I'll see you soon, don't leave for too long, village still needs us after all. Make sure to stay safe on your travels you two.", her words would ring as she gave a quick wave and vanished into the forest. They were beginning their own trek back towards the forest.
"I'm afraid I can't fly myself Miss, so were gonna have to walk. Hope ya don't mind. Can't let ya go alone though, after having been there for so long who knows if something would along the way. We like to say better safe then sorry you know?", Sine would say as he flashed a smile, holding a hand out as to offer help with getting them back onto their feet. It was the little things that made smiles.

"It's fine. I do not need to be helped but thank you for offering, kid."
She just hoped she could get done with this and then find Rose and Sawa again so she could kill them in return. However, it would not be that easy as she wondered how long it had been and how long she'd been dead for. It just struck her as confusing. And then she got an idea, she would ask this kid some questions to piece together information according to what he told her. So she truned to face him and and she would begin to speak despite being dead for a long time. "So, kid. How long has that place been without bandits, surely there must have been some clean up on bandits. I just need to know, how long I was dead for to be honest. There must have been some talk, right?" Chapter Three: Resurrection
This lady sure seemed to be a weird one at that, though he could fault her for any recollection issues.
"Hey, I'm no kid, I turned nineteen a couple months ago.", Sine would begin to acknowledge as he began the trek, watching and waiting for the lady to follow. He found it weird in his own thoughts for her to call him a kid. Sure he was younger, but she didn't look too old herself. It was hard to tell with all of them looking so much younger in their own youths. He had his own place even back in the village, but it wasn't like this lady needed to know that. They were just out here to get them some help.
"Bandits? Were you attacked by them? We haven't seen any of them for a good four to five years at least. Thank the divine for that. I still remember our defenses we would hold at the village walls.", Sine would begin to converse with the saiyaness as they continue their walk. Truth be told he hadn't seen bandits in a long while. It felt like after those years that realistically now that he thought about it. Those attacks did seem to just die down. Not that he was complaining of course. He rather enjoyed having the village wake up happy without the thoughts of if they were going to wake up again the next day. Though there it was with her comments on being dead. "Heh, maybe we should get you checked out properly in the capital.", Sine would begin to let a slight chuckle escape under his breath. He clearly didn't believe she had died. One didn't just come back from the afterlife like that. It was against all sorts of logical reasoning.
As the two continued their walk through the forest, the trees would begin to lessen in their density, the path becoming more and more visible as they exited to a plains. The grass yellowish and tall, at least up to the average waist. The sun was beaming from the side as it was beginning its descent. A clear sign that it was after noon. In the distance a tall building could be seen from the Capital's direction. This was the path the two needed to follow.
