It had been quite a long time since Letti had been training with the Saiyans of Yasai, said training had evolved her into a Super Saiyan of Legend, but now she had grown up and pushed her happy idealistic memories out her head. She had come to realise, it was not like that at all and now she come to see the true state of the world. It wasn't pretty as she thought it was. It had changed her too much and now she was a cold hearted warrior ever since turning to Super Saiyan 1. But she to achieve her promise, to kill those who had tortured her in her younger years and she was one step closer to her promise.
She had a very long road in front of her and she was willing to go the distance to become the strongest she could be and maybe surpass the King and Queen. She just wanted to be the strongest and she knew she could do it. She pulled up her black hood and put her hand on her sword that was attached to her hip and just sighed softly. Even she knew she had changed. Even her dress style had changed, her clothing was now all black, and she liked black, it fit her right now. She wondered if anyone was on Yasai that could talk to her sometime...
He could feel the sweat beading off of his face as he continued his training regiments. Being one of the many saiyans who've yet to achieve the power of a Super Saiyan placed him behind many of those at his power level. He didn't need the power of one to grow though, in his eyes perhaps they were all getting a bit too reliant on their transformations, training so much while in their forms that perhaps they were beginning to lack in the very strength and reflexes they could achieve in their base forms. He didn't have plans to remain behind them all for too long however, one day, one day he would reach their levels, whether it would be through the unlocking of such a transformation, or by the sheer will he held. If he couldn't reach such a state as a Super Saiyan, then he would find his own path, his own way to grow.
As the battle hardened warrior sat inside his training room, he began to sit in place in the middle of the room. His ki flowing around him as he began to control his power, controlling his energy around him. Slowly he began to float as he held his eyes closed. He could see it even without light. The old home they all once served, the planet Vegeta, the very memories he tried to keep repressed after such incident. A frown would slowly form as he floated there in focus, a grinding of teeth as he rewatched the battle going on. He wanted to stop, to open his eyes, to see it all go away. He couldn't...He had to stick through it, if he couldn't keep his calmed mind, his rationale. There was no way he was going to be able to finish his training, to finish his own techniques.
Kai-Lan began to feel a slowed, but burning inside his heart, a warmth that he welcomed, one that made him feel...safe. Slowly, he began to think of those alive, those who were here. They began to bring him back, helping to clear his thoughts. Once he could find it, this calmness that he couldn't explain. The roaring of his ki stopped, flowing as calm liquid almost, imbuing him with energy as he felt his breath return, his stamina restored as he found it.
...
Silence, that was all that sat in his thoughts as his energy flowed naturally, without a restriction. The burst in power still floating, possibly attracting any who were to arrive. This was how he would do it. This was how he was going to pass beyond the limit of a normal Saiyan. They could have this Super Saiyan power of legends. He was a Saiyan and he was proud. Slowly, but surely his eyes began to open, the anger beginning to subside as he looked towards the door, sensing another approaching energy. Right before the anger fully subsided, a slight golden droplet sat in his iris, before vanishing as soon as it appeared.
Letti was on her way to the training room, when she sensed another powerful energy similar to her own amount of power and grinned ever so slightly due wanting to get stronger and this person could potentially help her in their own way. That was a promise she made to Sigma her earth mother. She didn't have to keep her promise now, but she thought it would be better to keep her promise to her out of respect. And she did respect Sigma for raising her.
She would let out all of her strenght so that she could turn Super Saiyan, for she did not know if this person was training by himself. But she figured she would train her form longer. It was a must really, she needed to get used to Super Saiyan Form if she wanted to survive out in this cold world. And that was why she would win at everything. She would be a survivor out in this world. She would surpass everyone she knew and would become the strongest Saiyan she could ever be and ever was.
He could feel the strength of his power growing as he kept a control over his energy. All his effort was being placed as to not force it to move, but rather to let it flow naturally. These techniques he had came to in theory, their purpose to protect those that were his own, the saiyan race. He could feel the energy beginning to rise within his soul, as that heat continued to flare forward. A direct conversion of energy into raw and primal heat. A heat that burned through his soul, into his very core. He could feel the energy pouring into his veins as his orange ki floated around him. This? This was the path he chose. He wasn't going to fall behind, become the equivalence of cannon fodder to these legendary powers. That was his way, his path, his determination.
As he released his breath, he began to feel the approach of an incoming super power. Someone had noticed it seemed, but to use the power of a Super Saiyan against him? Maybe his techniques were more problematic than he originally thought. It wasn't like it mattered though, he was a saiyan and he was proud. As the Super Saiyan came to view, he didn't recognize them. In his eyes this power of legends, this strength of many. What did they have to go through to earn it. He would let loose a deep breath as he began to release the flow of his ki, letting his aura hum around him as the heat protruded off of him. He could feel it now in his strength, it wasn't enough to compete, but it was something, that was the very least of it. It was the hope of a chance, a hope that he would be able to break these limit and surpass these Super Saiyans.
"You!", Kai-Lan would begin to say in a stern manner as he began to stand from his meditation, his kid flowing around him like an open flame, the heat from its not strong, but his power up technique working like a charm. Still, it was nothing compared to the might of a Super Saiyan. "I can only assume that if you're here in that kind of form? That your rearing for a fight. That saiyan blood pounding throughout your veins runs through mine as well, and I can feel that anticipation...So bring it!", Kai-Lan would speak up as he let his ki flow, even with his lesser strength, he wasn't going to give up yet.
This face off here, a saiyan, and a Super Saiyan, even if it was just a young girl. He could still picture those buried images, the memories of that war, of the Super Saiyan who killed his squad... This time would be different. He wasn't going to fail this time. His stance slowly changed as he mirrored what earthlings remembered as the turtle school in a way. This form was different in certain ways, a more defensive stance held as it awaited the impact to come.
She too would also feel this Saiyan's power as well and it startled her just a little. She would then release her aura to it's fullest as she yelled out loudly before she would lunge towards him as she heard him say for her bring it. She would attempt a flurry of punches towards Kai-Lan's stomach as she yelled out loudly. She was getting tougher and she knew it. Pretty soon she would be able to be strong enough for the ones who captured quite a while ago. She would eventually reach the level needed to destroy them once for all. Provided they didn't get stronger. In the case he would try to escape or dodge the attack, she would leap backwards and get into a defensive stance.
He felt himself get pushed back by the sheer force of the aura of a Super Saiyan. The power was so immense and yet he was doing everything he could to stay buckled into the ground. He wasn't going to let himself get pushed back like this so easily, not after everything else he had gone through to make this day come to light. Too many of his comrades had been lost by his inability to become a Super Saiyan. That bloody war, if only he had the power to do so, if only he had the right genetics to access such feats. She was moving so fast, his eyes were barely keeping track of her ki signature as she reach closer towards him.
He didn't see a warrior here, he saw another kid, another kid who had to unlock a form triggered by rage. Another kid who lost their innocence to the growing battle in this galaxy. He felt a jolt rush through his spine as his eyes gazed toward her. The black slowly being covered with golden specks as an beast like gaze focused towards Letti. Everything in his mind went blank in that instant as he shot his aura outward. An array of sparks and green energy shooting out as it blasted towards Letti, pushing back against her attempts for the melee assault as the rush of power erupted from the saiyan warrior. The power radiating absurd from what appeared to be the saiyan in his base form. The only notable change being this strange green aura, the spark occurring from its violent clash with everything around it. His eyes as well, they looked like they belonged to a beast, their color now golden as this state of power was achieved. This was no super saiyan. It felt like the essence of a great ape, pulled into the power of this man's base form. His tail was flowing free behind him, a sheer sense of power to it. Slowly his ki began to relax into a condensed state, building up the heat to power him up.
In that instant, there was a strange feeling in the air as his ki seemed to be flowing back towards him, forming a ripple before snapping back in full force towards Letti, the strength far beyond what had been shown prior as this rift launched towards her. The wave of energy flowing towards Letti in a wide array. The speed of it immense as well as the power of the attack. A strange occurrence for a saiyan who appeared to be in some altered form of their base state. Was Kai-Lan truly there? That was the real question, whether he held control of this state.
