Most people could wake up to a normal life, get out of bed, have a shower, drink some coffee while they're at it and go about their day, just to go to sleep and start that all over again. Mito didn't have that privilege at all, waking up day in and day out in a constrained, highly resistant tank with a fluid that kept the bug afloat, the only thing to entertain him is the outdated database linked to his head, and his thoughts which have arguably gone haywire a long, long time ago. He's lost count of the days he's been drifting in this god forsaken tank, what didn't help is what appeared to be his inevitable demise are the floating, decayed corpses of the other Bio-Androids in the other tanks, while the labs lights have gotten weaker over the many years, that only added fear to what's coming as they barely illuminated the corpses of the other Bio-androids.
Like most days, Mito tried to power up. He followed what he was programmed to do and try to break out of the tank, he tried to blast his way out, he tried to whack his tail against it which funny enough, he consistently broke his tail against the tanks glass so hard at one stage that it bent the wrong way, and he had to regenerate a new one... with the old tail still floating around in the tank. It bothered him sometimes, and other times it didn't... it depended on his mood. He tried so hard a few years back, but every now and then he tries again, just to give up easily due to knowing how fruitless his efforts are. He could only hope for some programming in the lab that would let the Bio-Android free, or someone would stumble along and free him. He'd promise to not absorb them as the taste of freedom is more appealing and tasteful than absorbing whoever freed him, but he's not quite sure he'd keep that part of his deal when that time came... if it ever comes.
With seemingly nothing else to do like every day, Mito drifted back to sleep. He always tried to mess around in the tank, find new ways to pass the time but everything he could've possibly think of, he's already done and half the time he's either bored or he acts crazy, there's usually no inbetween. He only imagined the day that somebody would finally free him... but for now, he wanted to focus on his nap. There was no point trying to hope for something that hasn't come in many, many years.

Most people could wake up to a normal life, get out of bed, have a shower, drink some coffee while they're at it and go about their day. Bucket did have that privilege, to a totally normal life where he woke up from a bed of dirt in the middle of the ravenous trail of destruction he left behind whenever he went on his "midnight snack" rampage, get up, stretch and open his giant, gaping black void of a mouth to start eating again. His breakfast, which meant at least eating at least 500k of those necessary calories, half of the yearly intake for a fully grown adult human male.
In his breakfast.
With an appetite that could never hope to be satisfied and the power to eat anything he crosses, from the trees, to the bushes, to rocks, dirt, bugs, small animals that get caught up in the entire thing, nothing could escape his endless, eternal hunger. It wasn't being done in malice of any kind, he just so happened to REALLY want to eat everything he saw whenever he woke up, his stomach driving him to do things in such a violent, brainless manner that he barely ever remembered what he just ate once he finally came to. And of course, there's the very rare instance where he'll find something that he just can't eat. Like how he ate a few huge rocks and even a cool looking metallic disk which, though it took a bit more strength to chew through, still became a good meal.
But the meals were just starting.
"M-Meat..? Meat! Not alive meat! THERE'S MEAT!" Hopping up and down like a mad child, Bucket's cylinder-like face slammed itself into the screen of one of the pods right next to Mito's, the giant so focused in looking at the dead bio-android, with that indomitable lust to devour that he didn't notice the remarkable power level coming from the next pod. His sharp senses, of course, did catch up to him when his Ki Sensing slowly turned his attention to the still active pod, stepping close to it, just before pushing his face against the reinforced glass again, directly staring at Mito. No words were exchanged, though he did stop drooling and, for once, looked sad.
"You shouldn't be trapped. Trapping is for food!" And, soon enough, he was doing everything he could to open the damn thing. He tried prying it open with his bare hands, though that was clear it wouldn't work anytime soon when he flung himself into a wall from trying to hard. He looked at the several colored buttons with the funny jumbled symbols on top of them, clearly intimidated by them since he had no idea how to read. Instead, he went for the next best thing. He attempted a few Ki Blasts at the door and, though it did slam into it, it didn't even seem to bend or budge. It was frustrating, infuriatingly so! So, obviously, when he lost his patience, his eyes soon started glowing a dark blue, his entire body gaining some more muscle mass as the giant tapped into his demon heart, his Ki levels rising rapidly.
They rose even further as a dark glow started coming out of his mouth, with a dark orange aura flowing out from his body, into his mouth. Powered by the "star" (which is actually a planet) that supposedly gave all demons life, he let out a deafening roar, a large, dark blue blast shooting out of his giant mouth, directly into the pod. The power that slammed into it had been unparalleled to the machine so far, so much so that, even though it didn't open, the impact and destruction of its internal wiring did glitch it up so fucking bad that the door just didn't lock anymore. It wasn't even closed, it'd easily move out of the way if someone just slightly pushed against it.
Bucket didn't do it though, since he sat down to start panting, that blast being the strongest one he had on his small arsenal. "...I'm fucking hungry again."

Mito had picked up on a powerlevel approaching him, but at first he perceived it as a hallucination since it had happened to him before, faint powerlevels that went by that either didn't notice him, or it was his mind playing tricks with him and he wholeheartedly believed it to be the latter... until something started chomping down on the greenery that covered the lab, Mito's belief that nobody was coming for him quickly turned to hope, as he felt like someone was intentionally searching for him and when he finally saw his potential savior, he was quick to turn back to his old mindset. "A man with a bucket on his head? I've really lost it..." Mito said, but now that he's woken up, he might as well entertain this hallucination. As soon as he felt the tremble from him slamming against the wall however, Mito was quick to return back to his hopeful state again, a hallucination wouldn't make an actual, physical tremble like that. The glass was so dense that it wouldn't carry out Mito's voice, but he tried to tell him "Press the red button! press the red button!" over and over, but it seems to fall on deaf ears.
It looked like he's going to try what Mito tried for over 20 years, and give his strongest blast on the tank which eventually shined a red alarm inside Mito's cell, he knew something was going on with the door now and after that powerful blast, he'd give one good tail whip enhanced with ki against it and before he knew it, the big steel door collapsed down on the lab's ground. Mito was finally... free
"Haha, YES! you're not a hallucination! I'd hug you so hard right now if I actually had arms!" but nevertheless, he flew straight past Bucket and went straight for a clearer surface. Hopefully he'd understand, since this is the first time Mito has tasted freedom for the first time! He looked out to the land, then to the sky which scared him a bit... it felt like it was going to drop on him any second, mostly because he's used to seeing a clear ceiling most of his life and to see a ceiling that's unlimited messed with his perspective, but he knew deep down it wouldn't "drop" on him.
He assumed that Bucket would catch up, giving his profound thanks. "Thank you, thank you AND thank you. How did you know I was there? you're the first person in like... twenty years? roughly around that time to find the lab." not so much find, but the last person to be in the lab, the last people in the lab were scientists who ran from the war, who were on the side of the crown. He wouldn't speak of that though as he isn't sure of what has happened in history after that point.
Holy shit it can speak!? He actually thought about eating something that could speak!? Sure, it was alive but, even in alive beings, Bucket usually had not a lot of qualms about eating the non-thinking ones, even if he felt bad. Sometimes, he just had to refrain from eating the land dry, so animals had to do. But this one could speak! Actually -- fuck, this one felt like it had greater power than he did, actually! A fair share of it, even though it was bug-shaped! It was truly impressive the amount of power that could be gotten inside one of those funny little white shells that he blasted open.
"Know you were there? I was eating everything I saw, but then I saw your little shell! I thought it was a funny egg with you inside and, since I didn't know what the funny buttons on the side did, I opened it! I knew you were alive, but I didn't know you can speak!" Bucket actually needed some food and fast. He had gotten so low on power that he felt like he could only release small blasts, nothing like the awesome beams he usually released. So, even though they were still talking, Bucket opened his horrifyingly large, black maw, his serrated teeth shredding through the first tree he saw, being quick to start munching on it, the sounds coming out of him being something akin to an hydraulic press squashing wood into a flat pancake. "How long have you been inside the egg? I'm eight thousand, four hundred and forty nine sleep cycles old myself!" In actual years, which the demon was never actually taught, that came to about twenty four years and around two months and a half. Really betrayed his young age, being already a rugged, scarred giant, with the muscles of a statue and the appetite only befitting of an ancient legend.
Seriously. He was devouring thousands of the tree's leaves as if scraping meat off of a kebab stick, using his serrated teeth and black, slithering tongue to rip it out, not even looking like he was truly aware of his actions or how weird they must look. In fact, he did it so naturally that, once he was done cleaning off the leaves off of the branch, he quietly glanced at it, crushed it into a ball of splinters and sticks and munched it down as well, like some sort of snack.
