It took weeks to find this nameless man. The Saiyan P.I., aided by the Brenchian Heiress had looked everywhere, putting together every lead, every murder case, any bit of info out there, he became obsessed... And his obsession had paid off. Finally, they tracked him down. He screwed up just once and it was enough, the two met him on a roof top. One high above East City. He could run, but not very far...Ermine just stared the man down. "You're a hard man to find. Took us a while, you really don't want any confrontations, huh?" Ermine was making small talk with this person for now... "...So, who's putting you up to these killings?" He waited in silence after his statement, how did he figure it out? Well...Given enough time, he answered that thought. "Don't play dumb, you're not a serial killer, those deaths were all people with connections, all of them important to something. No random killings would be that coincidental."
He stares the person down, looking them right in the eyes, whether said eyes were covered by visor or not. "And the way you butchered them all..." He flashed an intimidating grin. "... You're really kind of a freak, aren't you?" He shrugs before speaking further. "Maybe I'm right about you being a contract killer. But you know..." "You don't have to work for them, whoever they are. I was...Like that once too. Ordered around by some soulless big names, forced into doing their dirty work. But I resisted, I left it all behind. You could always do the same...If you even felt that way." He was disgusted with the killer, there was no hiding that, but he gave them a chance, he gave them just one chance to turn things around. After all...There were no such thing as absolutes to him. Even the worst mistakes can be amended. All one has to do is try and make up for it.
"Anyway, I've been getting a few missing persons cases that ended with seeing your dirty work, you've sure set my job back." He ponders for a moment before speaking again, he was curious of something. "... There's just one thing I don't understand." He pauses between his sentances, his hands casually placed in his pockets. "All of these targets had connections...Except for one. A random police officer." He let his words sink in before he continued once more. "Murdered in her own apartment. Just a single, precise stab. I'd almost believe it wasn't you if the time of death wasn't a day after another killing. What did you have to gain from that, exactly? ... Maybe it was just a sick blood lust, I don't know your life." He didn't know the life of this person, indeed. But...He didn't particularly appreciate what they had done to so many people, disgusting displays, some that would take deep knowledge of anatomy to accomplish...All for what? To disrespect the dead? He wasn't sure he even wanted to bother reasoning with this person. But he was going to give it a shot anyway. He waited for their reply, he would also glance over to Vaneera from time to time...He didn't entirely want to bring her into this...
But he trusted that she could help him out pretty well with this one.
Leading himself to the edge of a roof top, Agent 0 would peer over the city, feeling almost trapped up there. "Dammit..." he said to himself. He was without his suit and without any of his hardware. He was practically naked, only with his serrated knife and the combat boots that housed his thrust boots, that could be an escape route if he truly needed it. But he was confronted either way, he had to answer back to the person. "Well, I am glad that I am hard to find, that makes me all the more happy with my work~" he would reply, holding a hand on his waist, the other out with a palm up in a position like someone explaining something. When the man told him who was putting him up to the killings, Agent 0 would just chuckle, not responding at all till the next dialogue.
"Well I can't say who put me up to it, that is sort of classified. But... I am certainly no serial killer. I am a contract killer, a bounty hunter I guess you could say." the man would go on while his white jacket would flow in the wind of the high rooftop. "I just kill effectively, I try to make it fun for myself! If somebody is nothing but red mist covering the walls and my suit, there certainly is no coming back right? If I just shoot them and be done with it, what would happen? They could survive!" he would respond. "I was trained from birth this way... I wasn't given a 'normal life' and I don't even know who my biological parents are. I could stop working for my company... sure. But I've spent thirty eight years of my life working for them and killing people. I can't just drop it, that's so much work left behind!" Code Name Reaper would keep on talking to his hearts content.
But then he would grit his teeth. His face getting visually angry at the man with the point he brought up. "Don't... don't do this..." was all Agent 0 would say when the investigator brought up a police officer. But then the investigator would explain, causing the agent in white clothing to verbally snap.
"Don't talk about Sheela! Don't just call her a random police officer!" the man would say, trembling as he looked down at his hands, both of them physically shaking as he brought them up to his head. "Do you think my job is social?! I never get any kind of positive social activity! Its just a bunch of contracted murders and people looking to put me down! I can never have any enjoyment from others! THAT ISN'T EASY!" he would say, braking off of topic. "I just wanted happiness... I wanted a family outside of my shelled in life! But that broke code... they had me kill her in cold blood... if I didn't I would be dead right now... their company would be falling... and she would probably be killed still but by another! I... I couldn't... I had to make a choice and that is what I did!" he said, still angry and yelling at the man. "Don't you dare talk about her at all! She wasn't just a contract.... she was the love of my life... she needs to be remembered well not as just some 'random police officer'" he kept on yelling, before laughing a lot.
Just thinking about her was causing his mind to visibly snap. But he would slowly shake his head and break out of that trance. "...Pushing the wrong buttons gets you nowhere... stop while you are ahead" Agent 0 would finally end off with, staring deeply at the man and his companion.

She had to admit; the prey that they were hunting down was fast. More than that, he had a few tricks to try and evade capture. However being chased down by two people made things more difficult for him... Much less there was the fact that the person he was trying to outrun was a Brenchian, that decidedly made things less favorable for him. Ermine was the first to speak, and the PTO Heiress mostly let him handle it all from this point, the crimes that this person had performed wasn't really something that she knew about, the Saiyan had mostly taken matters into his own hands.
However, this unnamed assassin wasn't bothered by what his work entailed. Rather, he seemed to take some sort of pleasure out of so violently ending his targets, and whoever had him put up to all of this really preferred when he did things like this, too. The Brenchian frowned slightly in response to it. "What a twisted way to view things, and such a waste of potential...", the White Brenchian commented as she mostly let the two have their back and forth. What had been said up to this point wasn't really something that involved her either way.
The conversation took a turning point as soon as Ermine brought up the final kill up to this point; a Police Officer. It was unlike any other target in his long list. The armor clad man snapped and told him not to talk about Sheela. So that was her name? This reaction that he had... It definitely made things clear, he must have cared about her very deeply. So why was she killed? The Brenchian could have supposed that there was only one theory that really worked; someone made him do it. Perhaps the very people he's working for.
And as his crazed words went on, that seemed to be exactly the case. It was such a sad state of affairs... Why did he want to stay with them? The White Brenchian came from an Organization that broke free of Tyrants not unlike the people that the armor clad man was working for. He finished by saying that pushing the wrong buttons wouldn't get them anywhere, and to stop while they were ahead. Vaneera proceeded to shake her head in response. "I can't believe all the excuses I'm hearing.", the PTO Heiress said without hesitation as she stared at Agent 0.
Her bright blue eyes were a natural opposite to his red eyes. "'All the work wasted'? You don't take pride in it, you hate it. Why do you think that you wanted to settle down with someone you loved? They ripped it away from you, and instead of becoming angry about it like any rational person... You just make excuses for them.", the Brenchian continued. "You know more about them than anyone else. They gave you all the skills you would need, too. It's time to break free from them, make them pay. Burn it all to ashes and build something new."
The White Brenchian then began to glare at him. "Or are you going to try and say that what they did was justified? I would call you both a coward and a liar if you did.", the PTO Heiress added as she then grasped the hilt of her sword. The red cloak around her just made it look as if she was standing casually, however. Whatever his reaction was going to be... Vaneera was ready for it. If things were going to break down into a battle, then she would just have to get through it him through combat as well as words.
Would it really go as smoothly as she thought, though? That was the real question to be asked about all of this...

The saiyan simply shakes his head. "So you hold more loyalty for some entity who took you away from a normal life and constantly hangs the threat of death over you, than someone you cared deeply about? I guess you chose wrong." Ermine scoffs with disgust, he lost everything in his past life because of the Empire, because of a bunch of hollow entities telling him what to do, but at least he had the guts to get away from it, he thought to himself. "You sound like a coward, tell me why I shouldn't just end this here and now?" He seriously contemplated just blasting this guy and being done with it...
... But then it hit him, Vaneera was all correct. "Nah, I'm not going to waste effort on someone like you, after all, that company is such a wonderful thing to you, right? Nothing else matters to you, not even the chance to get away from them. Not even the chance to avenge Sheela." ... He was playing at something, that much could've been clear to the Brenchian, but likely not to the currently emotionally unstable contract killer standing before them. "After all, if you would value this faceless company over her, you never really loved her at all, did you? What's their name...That company that means everything to you?"
He was intentionally grabbing at his emotions...His weak point. Killing him wouldn't stop this. Only destroying that company would end all of these brutal killings. This guy was afraid, upset, the saiyan wasn't the type to often abuse someone's emotions, but this was one person he felt no guilt in doing so. He pressed further, hoping his outbursts would give them more, perhaps even put a permanent rift between this killer and his employers. It was a clever idea that hopefully the Brench would catch and work with as well.
"I mean, you're too scared to get away from them, and since you love them more than Sheela, it's pretty obvious you have no reason to disclose who they are. They'd just kill you, you're too weak to fight back. I'm not wrong about any of that, am I?" The P.I. wasn't stupid though, he shifted subtly, ready to defend the girl if he had to, his attempt at information should have put only him at risk, after all. He was a little uneasy about the prospect of a fight, however. He didn't know this guy's power, what he was capable of. But it was a risk he had to take, he always took risks before, this would be no different.
"Then again, if you really loved her, prove it. Get your revenge for her death. I imagine something like that is put of your reach...But you know, any other man would go against everything he was taught if it meant protecting someone he cared about. ... If you're really a man." Such harsh cold words...Even by his standards, he didn't feel a shred of guilt in saying them, this man had a chance to get away from his superiors, but he wouldn't, that disgusted the saiyan...Even ignoring the killings. Besides, he had to not hold back at all if his plan was going to work.
Agent 0's face would drop into that of disbelief, he couldn't believe the words he was listening to. This man and his... sidekick, or whatever the hell this lady was, they were taking what he said in ways that almost made him laugh. To him, Dumb and Dumber were standing before him talking about things that were a little less than amusing at that point to the agent, who at that point would just look at the two of them with an uncaring face. "Excuses you are hearing...? What one word was an excuse... all of that was me telling you why it happened and how I had a choice and I made it... now if you tell me that any of that was just some excuse, then you obviously don't know how to tell some phrases." he would say lightly, staring at them still with a look of unsatisfactory emotion.
"...Are you serious?" the man would chuckle. "I never said I held more loyalty to the organization I work for... than the one I loved. But tell me... in light of the entire situation. I don't know who you two are but a lot of people go off of pure instincts to survive... some can break free of it when needed to save another of course... but tell me super heroes. If you were brought with a decision to save someone you cared about, but you would die... of course you would do it. HOWEVER, add on the effect that, the person you cared about will end up dying very shortly after. So like, you have a girlfriend and Mr.Main Villain tries to drop her into a volcano, you can save her but you will burn up from the volcano and the Villain's plot. With you no burned up, the Villain just walks over and shoves her back into the volcano. WHOOPS, now you are BOTH DEAD. However, if you decide to let her go... you will be forever heart broken and be filled with hatred. But you live to continue on. I may not be the hero but I have emotions... and if both paths lead to the person I could save dying... well, it drops the casualty count just a little bit if I choose myself to live..." the agent would rant on, not thinking any of this would get into their minds but he had to at least discuss it.
He then would just recede into quietness before it was broken by more words that sounded utterly dumb to him. "...Oh my gooooood. No, I don't hate the work itself, because it is all I know. If I knew anything more I would maybe hate it... but aside from that. NO. I DO NOT. THINK IT IS JUSTIFIED. You people just spout random nonsense out of your lips. I did not make excuses for them... I shouted my feelings about it onto the floor telling you that I am not allowed any of it. I hate having to bottle it up... I hate not being allowed to do what I want on my own time... you guys don't know me at all, hell this is the first time you've met me, so don't go saying I didn't get angry... of course I was brimming with hatred!" Reaper would just explode from his mouth in anger and frustration at the two people. "But sure I can break away from them... but I am right now I can't take them... I need time... I'm a weak and unstructured being who needs more strength... more training, more power... before I can think of being able to bypass everything those people have for me..." the man would say, clenching his fists into his hands more as he shook his head. However it seemed like it was the mans time to speak instead.
"Sure, its the most wonderful thing I know because it is ALL that I know... I've lived there from since the first week I was born and taken till today... all these years later. But, of course I would love to avenge Sheela but it isn't like I can just let others do that for me or on my own as I am no-" was all he could say before hearing the mans next words, which wouldn't make him angrier but it made him lose interest in the two of them altogether. So he would slowly reach down to his knife and start playing with it, his red eyes focused on it and his white hair moving around rapidly as he would do fancy tricks with the knife using his hand.
"...I don't value the company more than her... if you listened to anything I have been saying at all you would know that speaking ill of my company doesn't phase me at all but speaking a single ill line of Sheela makes me snap. Anyways, I love her more than life itself... but as you both said I am the only one who knows anything about them. Tell me, if I chose to defy them and they permanently put me out of commission... who would be able to avenge me? Not Sheela... she wouldn't have been able to and then she would have died to. If both of us were dead, nobody would be able to carry on the information of the organization... and I wouldn't be able to avenge her. I chose the option that would end in her death and them paying for it by MY hands." the Agent would say softly to them, trying to explain his situation as best as he could for the time being.
He would then just take a sort of irritated stance at the two of them, crossing his arms. "They would kill me, as I am right now I am too weak to fight back. You aren't wrong about that. And of course I want to get revenge for her death... it is out of my reach right now which is why I don't lash out against them... of course I am going to do my absolute best to avenge her... to not let that happen anymore... but, as it stands now, I literally can't... and if someone like you or your friend over there do it for me... well then, it wouldn't have been my hands, it would have been nothing but my words and I can't have that... but I loved Sheela more than anything else in the entire world which is why I need you to please... stop saying I don't care about her or don't love her..." Reaper would say, slowly putting the knife back to where it was.
It was then that the man would shake his head as well. "I can't disclose their name either, less I get my head pulled out of my socket early. But please do understand MY side of things... please.." the agent would say before words would start being spoken into his ear from his comms system, which wouldn't be able to be made out by the people he was with in terms of hearing the words, less they had enhanced hearing which would pick up something from so far away and coming out so low into somebodies ear. However if neither had the hearing required to hear the words, at the very least the sound of muffled chatter would come out of the comms for them to at least understand he was being talked to. "Agent 0 your life signs are going all over the place, your emotions and everything are skyrocketing, what the hell is going on?" the females voice would cut through into his comm that he would be forced to hear. He would slowly put his hand up and press it to allow his own voice to go through. "...Its nothing, just dealing with some... unexpected circumstances but I should be fine..." the man would say into his comm in reply, before releasing his hands to discontinue his own voice. "Acknowledged keep us updated" was all the voice would reply with before being cut off. Reaper himself would then fall into silence, slowly playing with his knife once more.
