Saeko
Name: Saeko
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Race: Majin
Homeworld: Earth
Starting Planet: Earth
Appearance:
According to the people she's met, there are two notable things about her. The first thing was her red eyes, which was surrounded by a black sclera. While the second thing was her height. Standing at four foot nine, she was rather short for a girl her age. Although considering the Majin's ability to stretch their limbs, this might be attributed to her personality.
Likewise, her hair is usually kept short, with the fringes sweeping across the sides of her face, and the back spiking out. The long antenna her kind is known for also rests on the top of her head. Having been influenced by several media, she believes that girls should dress up in cute outfits, which her wardrobe reflects. Although they're still consistent with the color scheme Majin's are known for wearing, with her usual outfit being a black blouse and skirt, with white stockings.
Backstory:
Born long after Majin's started to populate the earth, Saeko has a rather normal life. At least, as normal as a race of demon-like beings, can possibly have among humans. While they had rights like any other citizen, the tension didn't die down everywhere on earth. Over where she and her family lived, the people here were cautious of what they said to her kind.
This was in fault due to hearsay about how easy it was to sway a Majin's morality. So, ever since she was little, the topic of conversation often changed when she was around. It brought out the curiosity Majin's were known for, and the look of innocence in her eyes, was the kind of good they wanted to keep intact. With how often she learned about typical behavior, as she got older, she found herself either agreeing or disagreeing with what she was told.
New information either stayed, or left her head, depending on what it was. If something was too long or difficult to remember, it would both confuse and frustrate her. But rather than try and figure things out, she forgot about it, as other thoughts popped into her head. Due to this upbringing, she retained several of the traits Majin's were known for, that they would usually get rid of over time.
Things like distractions, almost nonexistent social barriers, referring to herself in third person, and the preference of logic seen in some media. Having lived a rather peaceful life so far, besides the kind of training her parents taught her, she has no real experience in fighting, other than what she's seen in various anime or games.

Aah, Saeko loves going downtown.
All around her, people were walking in and out of stores. The flashy signs of the outlets, and the assortment of bags people were carrying around, easily caught her eye.
Which one first?
As a student, that was the usual problem with going into the city. But as a Majin, she didn't have that problem. The best decision, when they couldn't decide, was to go to everything.
Ooh, shaved ice.
Her eyes caught wind of a stranger stepping out of the crowd, and holding the iced treat in their hand. She didn't hesitate to go into that direction, where she quickly disappeared, and blended in with the crowd. Having a tiny frame made it easy to slip through without struggling for space. Once she had gotten on the other side, she found the outlet she was looking for. Even from a distance, she could smell the different flavored syrups from here.
But which one?
Again, she was asking herself. There were lots of flavors, both those she did and didn't recognize. Each one her eyes glanced over, she was picturing eating it, in her head. Sweet plum tasted nasty, since she didn't like the vegetable itself. Green paradise sounded amazing, and was probably filled with juice. While flavors like Horchata sounded spicy, but based on the picture guide, looked like it might contain coconut.
Wedding Cake?
Weddings were what humans go to when they loved each other, right? Although she's never been to one, cake tasted good, so this should be as well. The owner of the outlet was busy serving a couple her age, when she had walked up. Seeing them had reminded her of something, but at the moment, she couldn't remember what.
Oh well.
"One wedding cake, please."
"R-right."
The man behind the counter had flinched when she came up, but she thought nothing of it, besides that it was funny. Except for Haruto-kun, everyone seemed to always do that when they saw her.
Oh.
That's right. She had came here with Haruto-kun.
"Sorry, could you add blueberry too?"
It was her friend's favorite. While she didn't mind blueberry, if she was personally going to eat a fruit, it would have been a raspberry.
The owner simply nodded, and she had turned her gaze down, watching him do his work.
"Saeko?!"
Huh?
That sounded like Haruto-kun. Guess he was done buying that jacket he wanted.
"Here we go. E-enjoy."
"Thanks."
She went and grabbed both of the shaved ice, after paying the right amount for both, and quickly ducked into the crowd.
Aah, this is amazing.
The ice in her mouth tasted like some special flavor of vanilla. If this is what wedding cake tasted like, she wanted to go to one.
She was careful with holding her friend's iced treat, while continuing to just suck on her own. Getting through the crowd had only taken about a minute or two.
There he is.
Haruto-kun was looking around, bags in hand, and shouting her name. She could only see his back from this angle, giving a full view of his jacket. The one he bought was probably either identical, or similar to what he was wearing, if she had to guess. He really liked the style.
A hoodie that had a built-in vest. The original was an overseas present from his dad, if she wasn't mistaken. Though from what he told her earlier, he had found a store here in the city that sold them.
"Saeko got some shaved ice!"
She had to stop sucking on hers for a moment to let him know she was here. He jumped up a little, then turned around, where he had to turn down a little to meet her eye level. It reminded her of how tall he was. Or was he only a bit taller than average, and she was just short? Maybe both? Because she actually was short. He brought that up a lot in their conversations.
"Saeko, don't run off like that."
He was frowning, until he saw his iced treat, and his gaze softened. He sighed, but smiled appreciatively.
"Oh, thanks."
She gave him a nod and went back to eating hers. They started walking together through the district, looking at each of the stores. It was probably only after three stores, did she find one she really liked. She had walked off without him, getting only a second away, before feeling him grab her hand. He didn't pull her back, but made sure they were still walking together, towards where she wanted to go.
And that place happened to be an anime store.
She was grinning at him when they stopped in front of the outlet's windows. Only the shaved ice cup was left in her mouth, which was sticking out between her teeth.
"An anime store, huh?"
His cheeks were red for some reason, though it couldn't have been a fever.
She did find it funny.
