And Jie Shan had him! He wrapped his hands around that golden, energized hair. His hands tingled with power at the very touch of it. It was a powerful sensation. It did not quite hurt, but it made his skin hum and vibrate with the golden power of a Super Saiyan. Amazing, thought Jie Shan, it was like the man was made entirely of power. The transformation made the ki so volatile, so powerful, even the very extremities of its user were ablaze with this golden energy. Jie Shan took a moment to be impressed by the energy, but only a moment.

In the next moment, he was pulling the Super Saiyan forward. Jie Shan’s satisfaction soared as he felt the wet, vulnerable orbs of Nasu’s eyes clash with his finger tips. Just as he had planned. The Overseer screeched in agony and Jie Shan knew he had accomplished what he had set out to do: harming the Super Saiyan. How many people on Planet Natto could say they had done that? Jie Shan was willing to bet very few.

But his small moment of pride was soon taken away from him. He felt the ki rising as his foe lost control. It reached such absurd heights, and that was when Jie Shan knew he had waken the beast. Damn, thought Jie Shan, this would not go well. And he would not have to think about it for long: a violent wave of energy poured out from Nasu and swept Jie Shan away. The pain burned at his body, the hot, terrible ki of a Super Saiyan. Jie Shan was carried away with the wave and soon it slammed him into the wall of the chamber, holding him there as the ki raged. And as soon as the wave fadd, Jie Shan fell to the ground like a rag doll. He could scarcely moce. His entire body was white hot with pain. Jie Shan had messed with the bull and gotten the horns.

Slowly, he lifted his and coughed out a statement. "Okay," he groaned, "I think you got me. That was a pretty fierce attack. But you gotta admit, I got you good there."

So they were done. Jie Shan felt the Overseer’s power drop again, back to that controlled level. And it was not long before the man was standing over him, sending for medical care. Jie Shan coughed his thanks. He could certainly do with some rest and relaxation after that blow. Though soon the Overseer added an addendum: they were going to meet at the Soy Training Hall tomorrow. Good, thought Jie Shan, he was eager to continue his training in the Soy Arts. And this matter of a proposition intrigued him...

"You got it, Overseer. I'll be back there tomorrow, better than ever," groaned Jie Shan.

And soon, the Overseer was gone. Jie Shan sat there as he waited for medical attention.

"Rudieri," he called out, "Were you watching that battle?"

"Of course," came her voice, "I'm always watching."

"Is it just me," he said, ignoring the certain creepiness in that statement, "Or did his power increase like fifteen times over?"

"It's just you," She said, "Because his power actually increased sixteen times over."

"Shit," whispered Jie Shan, "I really need to catch up."

"Well, that’s what we're working on, Jie Shan. Now hold on. The medical team and I are coming down..."
