The night that Komatsu got swindled into agreeing to an arena match with Jie Shan was quite the busy one. For starters, once he left home he had immediately gone to see his grandmother, and ended up in a wild goose chase looking for her blue prints. Little did he know, when he did indeed find them it had been rigged with a tiny nanobot that managed to enter his head and 'download' all the data needed to repair her. It was the strangest feeling and he hated it, but at least now he would always know how to fix her! Until she upgraded something again...
Anyways, when his grandmother had woken up, they had decided to spend a little bit of time that evening catching up. They had gone out for food, and to Koma's request had gone out to buy him some proper clothes. He literally had nothing to his name, and Kyuri didn't mind spending on him in the slightest. It was a very nostalgic feeling to be with her again. He couldn't remember the last time he had actually been this happy~
When they had gotten home, the pair had proceeded to Kyuri's room as he had let quite the mess in his search. They would clean everything up but, as soon as Komatsu sat down for the tiniest of breaks, the young saiyan had fallen asleep. He would have slept right up until the next after-noon if it wasn't for Kyuri shaking him awake at the first sign of daylight.
"Sorry Koma, it's probably still too early but you don't want to be late. You go show him just how tough you can be." She said with a gentle smile on her face as she passed her hand through his hair, much like his mother had done.
Komatsu sighed however, wishing he could just stay sleeping like the dead. His body was exhausted from everything that had happened and wasn't fond of the idea of having to get up to go through more punishment. However Koma wouldn't let himself stay down, he had to prove himself to Nasu and the first thing to do was get his ass out of bed.
He didn't have to like it though, and though the young saiyan grunted and grumbled the entire time he got ready. He lazily put on his weighted armour and tied his new headband around his forehead, pushing his hair back further so it didn't get in the way, if that was even possible with the mass amounts he had.
He stepped outside the house just as the sun started to creep up over the horizon. For the most part it was still dark out.
"Well, better early than late." He said with a wide yawn as he took to the sky and darted off away from home towards where he could only assume his brother was waiting for him... The Soy Dojo.
It would take him only a few minutes to get there. He would come in for a landing at the front steps and waste no time walking inside, peering around to see if he had beaten his brother here or not.

Komatsu arrived before Nasu did. The Soy Training Hall was a very impressive place, and he would most likely still be awestruck with it, since it had been ages since the last time he saw the place. It was composed of a square-shaped titled floor, made of a very resistant material. Sure it wasn’t as hard as the mystical metal known as katchin, but it was a very close second, capable of withstanding the power of full powered super saiyan without cracking and breaking just by powering up. It had 150 feet of length, enough for the legendary warriors to go all out with their impulse, speed and power. The whole training hall was inside a round chamber, with 150 feet of height, with a large, circular hatch on top of it, to allow the saiyans to reach their Great Ape forms if they wanted to and had an available full moon. On the northern side, about 10 feet away from the titled floor, there was the control panel that had plenty of functions, such as controlling the hatch, allowing some holographic mirrors to make it seems like the place wasn’t covered by its dome.
Nasu didn’t take long to arrive and reached the place about three minutes after Komatsu. Due to his ki sensing ability, even though he wasn’t wearing his father’s advanced red scouter, he already knew Komatsu was there. As he entered the room, he didn’t say a word and headed straight towards the control panel, pressing some buttons hasty and, in a second, all of the halls of the dome seemed to change. The holographic walls simulated the environment of planet Earth. To be specific, it emulated the lookout; Nasu’s scouter’s data had been downloaded to the computer of the Soy Training Hall so it could easily emulate everything he had been able to record while wearing the gadget. A mischievous smirk appeared on his face as he finished configuring the environment.
”Wonder how Komatsu will react to be sparring in what looks like the lookout. With some luck, I may be able to harvest some ill feelings and push him above his limits! I will make a super saiyan out of this good for nothing brat too! With him and Jie Shan as super saiyans, we will reach the mark of four! And as soon as Karota manages to reach the legendary transformation too, we will number five, and that will be the largest number of super saiyans in a single group in millennia!” he thought to himself, feeling rather excited with that. Nasu then walked to the titled floor, stopping in front of Komatsu while keeping the smirk on his face. – Thought you would give up on the battle and run back to hide under Kyuri’s skirt! Hehehe! – he teased his little brother, as he couldn’t waste such a golden opportunity. – I hope you are prepared! I will have to beat some warrior into you! I’m not a soft teacher, so… If you are expecting to have an easy time, you are gonna get absurdly disappointed! – he said, while folding his arms. Nasu stared Komatsu right in his eyes, waiting for his reaction.

"Huh looks like i'm first" He would say to himself lowly as another yawn escaped his lips. He grumbled as he rubbed the sleep from his eyes as he looked around the dojo. He couldn't say he had payed very much attention to it's detail when he was younger, but now that he had the time too he couldn't help but smirk faintly. It might as well be a disaster bunker the way that this thing was reinforced. He wondered how much punishment it could actually take if his parent's use to train in here. He doubted they ever went full out but still.
He wasn't able to walk too far before Nasu arrived. He would stop and look back to his brother, opening his mouth to speak but closing it whenever his brother simply walked passed without a word.
'Rude...' Komatsu thought to himself as he crossed his arms and watched Nasu go over to the computer. It wasn't long after that, that the room's image began to change, shifting to resemble the lookout. He couldn't help but jump at the sudden change of scenery, so unused to this kind of technology. It took him only a moment to adjust as he looked around himself, taking in his surroundings.
'Why did he pick this place... I thought he hated it more than anything...' He analyzed as he glanced back to his brother and catching the grin on his face. Koma would raise an eyebrow at that, then frowned when Nasu accused him of basically being a coward.
"Shut up, you should show grandma a bit more respect." He defended himself before Nasu continued speaking, asking him if he was ready.
"You make it sound like i'm not a warrior already. I'm ready for whatever you can throw at me Nasu, stop treating me like i'm a baby and lets do this. I've only got 2 days to master all of this remember." He said confidently, looking Nasu right back in the eyes. He wasn't going to back down from this... he had a loooot of pent up rage from his time with the Empire that even seeing his parents again didn't get rid of. If Nasu wanted to see what he could do, he'd show him just that...

Nasu chuckled when Komatsu said he should show their grandmother more respect. – Oh, but I do! She is our top scientist! I respect her and her knowledge, but she is an excuse of a fighter and I don’t respect her in that regard! She never was a warrior and never rose above low class. Still, she is a Colonel of the Army and I’m not even thinking about taking her rank away. If that’s not respect, brat, then I don’t know what it is… Licking her soles, like you do, maybe? – he teased his little brother. Then, Komatsu told him to stop treating him like a baby and that made the Overseer laugh. – Then stop acting like a quite spoiled one and prove your worth! You will never master it in two days, not even I managed that! But I can make you a decent fighter meanwhile, but, as things stand now, you are not even worthy of sparring with me. I will find you a decent sparring partner for the mean time! – he said, jumping backwards to the edge of the titled floor of the Soy Training Hall.
After that, the hatch above opened and one person started descending down. He was absolutely huge in size, with over 7 feet height and absolutely bulked. That was Miso, their uncle and the General of the Alliance’s Army. His power level was unrestrained and was overwhelming, even greater than Komatsu’s own, and Komatsu knew one thing: Miso was a super saiyan, so he could go even higher than that if he so wanted.
[Power Level: 110,968]
– He will be your opponent, Komatsu! And I will be coaching you into learning the principles of our School. Remember my style during the attack on the Lookout! That’s precisely why I chose such an environment, so I can harvest the best in you! You died a meaningless death back then. Now restore your pride and make us respect you! If you can’t beat Miso at the end of it, you are nothing! – he said with a teasing tone and Miso stared back at Nasu. – So I’m your guinea pig for the new generation?! Heh. I don’t care! My pride evolved, you bunch of maggots! You are the new generation! It’s your obligation to be better than me and then become better than your parents! Otherwise there’s no evolution, and no evolution means that we are doomed! So… - Miso paused briefly, staring back at Komatsu with a cheeky look on his face. – I will be beating you down to the pulp, unless you stand up for yourself! I will go all out on this first spar! But on the next, brat, I will go super saiyan! And I will treat you as an enemy! Fall to your position, Komatsu! I will show what despair looks like! Hehehehe! – Miso warned him and, as he finished speaking, it was Nasu’s turn.
– Komatsu! The first discipline of the Soy School is Mental Discipline! I hope you can keep that in mind, while Miso brings you to a living hell! – he said, chuckling. Nasu waited Komatsu to fall into his battle stance so he could correct it, only then he would authorize the beginning of the fight.

"Oh shut up, like you didn't drool all over uncle Miso every chance you could." Komatsu defended with a sudden glare towards his brother. He didn't hide behind Kyuri or lick at her soles as Nasu said. he'd just finished fixing her up and wanted some time to catch up with her. Nasu would of done the same if he had come back to their dad still being here.
Komatsu had never wanted to come back to life, he was quite happy being dead and being with his parents. He needed something to anchor him to life because until now, he didn't have anything but a mission keeping him here. He needed more than just his parents wish to see their kids getting along. Being with his grandmother again reminded him that he could still do so much while he was alive. All of this was something he doubted Nasu would ever understand.
Regardless, Nasu knew exactly how to piss him off, and he was doing an excellent job at it. How the hell was he acting like an entitled brat? He didn't feel entitled at all! Well okay maybe a little bit when it came to this martial arts style but still...
"yeah, well then I'll just prove to be better than you when I do master it." He said as he crossed his arms and huffed, though raised an eyebrow whenever he said he would find him a training partner. That didn't make much sense... how was he going to learn anything if Nasu wasn't going to show him himself?
Then his uncle Miso appeared and Koma would feel a sweat drop slip down the back of his neck. Great, just great... it wasn't enough he had his ass kicked by his brother, now he was going to get his ass kicked by his uncle.
'what a jerk... damn it does he plan on disabling me before this damn fight to give his favorite an advantage?' He thought to himself angrily, clenching his fist angrily as he listened to his brother speak. Did Nasu not notice that Komatsu hadn't seen him fight AT ALL? Damn it how was he supposed to learn from that!?
When his uncle spoke, Komatsu could feel his blood run cold. He'd never sparred against him before... in fact when he was little he found he was always scared of Miso, and he couldn't help but remember that fear now.
'No... I can't be scared anymore... I'm not a kid anymore.' He tried to convince himself, taking in a deep breath. When he exhaled, he had slipped into his mother's more aggressive fighting stance. His body was lower to the ground and his stance wide and steady. His left hand was open in a sort of claw in front of him while his right hand was open close to his face.
"Fine by me. Bring it on uncle Miso." He tried to sound confident, to push all of his self doubt aside. Truth be told, he'd been in very few serious fights, even the battle at the lookout could barely be considered a real fight for him.

Nasu narrowed his eyes with Komatsu’s comment, the first one referring Miso, and the other claiming he would become better than him once he mastered the Soy School. Although he kept his serious feature, he was clearly annoyed by such statements. – You are a thousand years too early to dream of surpassing me, brat. Don’t take me lightly, Komatsu! This would be your worst mistake. – and his sentence had a threatening tone too. Then, he turned to Miso. – Miso, you are free to start this fight! I will go ahead and coach the brat. – he said, and Miso nodded, chuckling.
Nasu stared back at Komatsu evaluating his stance and saw plenty of flaws in it, which made him snort. – Your posture is awful! Use it and you will certainly die again! – he roared, feeling rather irritated by his brother’s lack of skill. - Your legs are too far apart! And those open fingers, I would break them in no time! Want to learn the Soy Style?! Clench your damn fists! Protect your torso too! Lower your right hand and put it close to your body! Also, turn your body to the side a little bit! Move quickly, brat! Your sorry excuse for a stance is making me want to puke! – and he wasn't the niciest teacher, but that should have always been pretty damn obvious by now.
Nasu was with an angered expression now, irritated with Komatsu. He gritted his teeth and growled again. Miso, on the other hand, kept his smirk in his feature and chuckled a bit more. – Say, maggot. Heh. How about some suffering? – he said and, with those words, he flared his white ki aura, powering up to his very limit as he charged a powerful blue-colored energy sphere in his hand. In the following second, Miso drew his hand backwards and, by now, Komatsu would already be able to recognize that technique: it was the Spirit Cannon, developed by his father. Miso didn’t waste any time and pushed his hand forward. – Vanish, maggot! Spirit Canon!!! – he roared, firing the powerful energy sphere right at Komatsu.
The attack was rather powerful and would hurt if it hit. With this attack, one thing could be noticed: Miso knew about the Soy School. It wasn’t clear just how much he knew it, but at least the basics for sure! This would make this battle even more tricky, and Komatsu would have to think quickly.

"Stop underestimating me Nasu." He stated seriously, his eyes never leaving Miso however. He knew better, the instant his eyes shifted to the distraction, he would move. He growled lowly as he insulted his posture, though he made the necessary corrections, shifting his stance closer together so he could be far more agile. He closed his fists bringing his right hand closer to his torso and bringing in his left a little closer as well. It felt so alien to him to be standing like this. Instead of feeling like he could withstand anything, he felt like he was going to get pushed around...
'I hate having to listen to him... damn it... it's just for now Koma... prove him wrong, get stronger and then you can kick his ass...until he goes super saiyan anyways.' The thought that he would never be able to achieve the same pissed him off, and his knuckles began to go white he was clenching them so hard.
his uncle began to speak, promising that this was going to be one hell of a difficult fight, and making him think that maybe he should have asked Nasu the terms of this fight. Was he allowed to use the techniques he knew? Or would he be forced into quickly learning the one's of the Soy School? Well, techniques weren't completely off the table as Miso launched a very familiar one towards him.
"Hmph" With a smirk his fists ignited into crimson energy. he planted his feet firmly on the ground and only took a step once Miso's spirit cannon seemed like it would hit the immobile young saiyan. however, as he did take his step he literally punched the spirit cannon as hard as he could, causing it to explode on contact with the energy around his fist.
The force and proximity of the explosion caused Komatsu to slide backwards, his fist getting lightly burned from the explosion but other then that, Komatsu was fine.
He didn't wait for the smoke to clear, instead, he came charging directly through it, aiming another glowing fist towards Miso's gut.
-------------- Atomic Strike Used: 23,543 vs Miso's 27,742 = 4,199 exploded against Komatsu's fist, knocking him back and burning his fist.
Threw a punch at Miso's stomach, fists still glowing with the atomic strike but that's just for flavor! regular punch!

The battle had started. Komatsu reacted to Miso’s Spirit Cannon with an Atomic Strike and that made Nasu growl. – Stupid brat! You won’t defeat the Spirit Cannon with that! – he roared to Komatsu, as he watched the fight. And Nasu was right. The attacks clashed and the explosion hit Komatsu. He managed to dissipate most of the Spirit Canon’s energy, but, still, he was pushed back by Miso, and he knew Miso all too well to know he never backed off once he gained the upper hand in a fight. – Don’t retreat, Komatsu! He will kill you if you give him space! For fuck sake, brat! – Nasu roared, being the terribly annoying coach he was.
But Komatsu quickly reacted and with his fist still glowing, he aimed to attack Miso in his gut, but the older saiyan was far more experienced and he was already expecting him to charge, while saving some of his energy right now, and that was his mistake. – Heh. Too slow! – he exclaimed as he quickly spun his body to the side, successfully dodging his attack just barely, letting Komatsu’s fist graze by his black battle-suit, just slightly touching it but causing no damage whatsoever. Then, just as he dodged, he raised his hand with a palm wide opened, pointing it right at Komatsu’s eyes and his smirk widening while his eyes narrowed. – Allow me to put this technique into your head! Spirit Cannon!! – Miso exclaimed, as he fired yet another Spirit Cannon, only this time it was almost at point blank shot and aiming at Komatsu’s face. His goal was quite clear: it would most likely blind him for a brief moment should it hit.
Either way, blinding him or not, it was still a quite dangerous attack at such close proximity and enough to show him that his uncle wasn’t going to go easy on him at all. Miso enjoyed battle and he was a saiyan to the core, meaning he didn’t care about injuring his opponents even if they were family. – You remind me of your dad when we use to spare back in the day! Know how it ended on our last spar as kids? With me breaking his back! Hehehe! – he chuckled in a cocky tone as he attacked his nephew. Nasu didn’t say a word for now, just watching the fight with an annoyed expression on his face, almost like he was sort of disappointed.
Miso’s Stamina 2/3 > 1/3
- Dodged Koma’s melee and countered with Spirit Cannon
Post by King of All on Mar 3, 2016 20:03:26 GMT -5
Koma felt his still burning hand hit Miso's side though grazed right off him! He silently cursed himself for missing, though spun his body around to attempt a quick rebound strike. However before he could ever raise a hand to try and hit Miso, the man placed his hand up to Koma's face, charging up the Spirit Cannon one more time. Komatsu's eyes went wide at the dangerous proximity of the attack. He attempted to reach up and grab Miso's wrist and force him to miss, but he wasn't fast enough. The spirit Cannon instantly collided with his face with such force it pushed Komatsu back, knocking him cleanly off his feet and flying back into the wall of the Dojo.
For a moment, Komatsu didn't move, blood tricking down from the point of impact. His head was bowed forward, so all Miso could see was blood dripping down onto the floor of the dojo.
"I've withstood... my nerves being set on fire... literally being lit aflame... I've been beaten down... had all of my bones broken and lingered on the edge of death... time and time again... because it was 'funny'" He said as he would slowly begin to push himself up to his feet. His face, and especially his eyes had been pretty badly damaged, traces of the blast seeming to scar up his face. As he stood up to face where he assumed miso was, the damage was repairing itself, leaving nothing but the blood that had been spilled as any indication that he had been hit.
"It's going to take more than that to hurt me. But thanks for the close up, I get it now." Komatsu said as a shit eating grin graced his lips. The young saiyan brought his hand forward, charging a beam of energy, which to even his surprise, was blue.
"haha, come 'n get me uncle" He said as he would finally bring his arm back like he saw Miso do the first time, his free hand moving behind the blue sphere as if holding it in place. The instant Miso moved, he would be ready with his own Spirit Cannon.
-------- Miso's attack hit full force! Used [ST-1] Recharge:(Komatsu draws in the ki from around himself, charging it within his body for 1 turn in order to heal medium wounds.) To heal the damage and blindness.
Readying/learning Spirit Cannon, will fire next turn! (Not charging, learning how to do it)

Nasu face palmed when he saw Komatsu being hit at point blank. ”Goddammit… Teaching this brat will be a hindrance…” he thought to himself as he snorted in annoyance. Miso, on the other hand, was having a ton load of fun as his nephew was blow away from him, heavily injured by the blast to his face. Blood was dripping down his face, painting the titled floor red with it. – I like the color of your blood, maggot! Heh! – Miso said, teasing his nephew. Then, Komatsu began speaking, bragging he withstood some heavy shit while he was on the Empire, being constantly tortured time and time again, and that made Miso laugh out loud, resting both his hands on his waist. – Want me to cry and offer you a shoulder?! That’s an average life for a real saiyan! You might not know, maggot, but I’ve been through worse shit when I was younger than you, conquering planets! Even your father and mother went through worse as infants, and your stupid brother lived in a hell of planet too, when he thought it was a good idea to try and conquer estate for the Alliance! – he said, with a teasing tone. Then, as the brat began to get up again, he was somehow healing. Nasu narrowed his eyes with that sight. ”What?! The brat can heal? That’s a useful skill… Makes since he developed such a thing but, still, it’s quite impressive he managed to do that!” he thought, touching his chin with his index and thumb.
Following that, Komatsu began to charge a technique that seemed like the Spirit Cannon. Nasu stood there, paying attention to it. ”Yes, he is getting it right!” he thought in surprise, as he was accomplishing it quite fast. Still, he had seen both Natto and even Nasu use that technique more than once, it was only natural he could already replicate it. Miso also noticed what he was up too and laughed out loud opening his arms wide open, offering his chest to Komatsu. – Good! Show me your rage! Show me your determination, maggot! Hit me with your Spirit Cannon as I have hit you before!!! Show me your fury, Komatsu!!! I want to see your mama’s fury in you! Heh! – he demanded, feeling completely addicted to the thrill of a dangerous battle. Miso was a warrior to the core, and a very bloodthirsty one! To put his life on the line was something that pleased him, especially when he wanted his opponent to be strong and fierce, as he wanted Komatsu to be.

"Heh, hardly. I wan't you to know it's going to take a lot more to break me, so stop pulling your punches." Komatsu said with the same wide smirk on his face. Hew knew he was going to regret his words, because the second Miso transformed into a super saiyan he was going to be in a hellish amount of pain. That was fine with him, he'd have to learn fast if he was up against that. At this pace, he'd have to walk into a lot more of Miso's blasts.
Something seemed to click inside of him though whenever his uncle asked to see his rage. His evil had been purged, but his rage... well he had that in spades, and thanks to their conversation he had a new outlet, a new person to direct his rage towards, and that person was in front of him now. His smirk slowly started to fade into a more serious look, his eyes actually seemed to gain a red shimmer as his uncle opened his arms up wide to receive his attack.
"Well since you asked so nicely, Spirit Cannon!" He said as he brought his arm forward once more, fuelling everything he had into the sphere as it launched front his hand, soaring directly for Miso's open arms. ------------------- WC: 217 Total WC: 2,405

Komatsu managed to use the Spirit Cannon perfectly and it hit Miso right on his chest. The 7 feet tall saiyan warrior was pushed backwards, with both his feet dragging against the ground for about fifteen feet. Smoke covered his upper body and, after a few seconds it started vanishing. Miso was chuckling and, as his body was revealed, it was shown that he was indeed damaged. There was a line of blood running down from his mouth, the chest of his battle suit was damaged – although not broken – and his arms, under the shoulder guard were scorched a little bit. – Good! Very good, maggot! Heh! You could sting me! Hehe! – he said, without losing his convinced and arrogant tone. Miso wasn’t scared at all, and seemed to be somehow happy.
Nasu, on the edge of the titled floor nodded. – Good, Komatsu! That’s the basic level of the Spirit Cannon. You managed to learn it. But that’s not enough for this training session! Miso! Use that technique! – he ordered, staring from his brother to his uncle. Miso grunted a bit. – Don’t coach me, brat! Coach the little maggot over there! I was already killing people when your dad was still in my dad’s balls! – it was the first time his smirk had disappeared. Although Miso respected Nasu’s new position, it was clear he was still prideful and it bothered him to have his nephew above him as both warrior and ruler. Nasu growled a bit, irritated by Miso’s comment. – Respect your Overseer, General! – he ordered in an angered tone. In response, Miso snorted, rolling his eyes. – Alright, Lord Overseer! Alright! – he said, with a bitter tone and then finally stared back at Komatsu. – So, Maggot… - he said to Komatsu. – Let’s continue our little dance! Heh! – and he cracked a smirk again, before flaring his light-blue aura and dashing forward again.
– That’s the Flash Spirit, Komatsu! Be cautious or its gonna hurt! – Nasu warned him, but gave no further details. As Miso approached, he used his waist to put all of his strength into spinning his body a little and strike Komatsu with a powerful elbow to the face. After that, should it hit or not, Miso would immediately spin his body again, throwing an inverse roundhouse kick right at Komatsu’s jaw, aiming to send him flying away. – Taste that, bug!!! Flash Spirit!! – he roared as he delivered the attack, chuckling lightly as he did so.

'Well... that took a lot more out of me then I thought it would...' Komatsu thought to himself as he had started to breath heavily, his arm still extended towards Miso as the blast crashed into him. He hadn't seen any signs of Miso dodging it, but somehow doubted that he'd hit him. Komatsu was thankful for the few seconds of a breather that he was able to get as his eyes darted around before resting on his uncle's form, long before he was able to see him.
The smoke billowed off of Miso's body revealing the damage done by his Spirit Cannon bit by bit until the smoke was completely gone. He was surprised to see that he has hid his uncle at all, let alone the extent of the damage the blast had inflicted on him.
'Have I really gotten that much stronger... I know he just stood there and took it but... a few months ago he would of laughed at any attack I threw at him...' Komatsu continues to think to himself as he stayed quiet. His eyes always remained on Miso, though his ears listened closely to what Nasu had to say. So he was asking Miso to use something different this time, obviously satisfied with his quick mastery of the Spirit Cannon. What kind of technique was he going to use this time?
He had time to think about what was coming, and what he was going to do as it seemed Nasu and Miso were arguing, another welcome break that let the young saiyan catch his breath. That was until Nasu announced the name of the attack that was going to be used against him, and only moment's later Miso charged him!
'ok... some kind of rush attack...' He thought again as Miso's elbow flew towards his face. He gathered up as much energy as he could muster to leap up into the air to avoid the strike. However, due to his uncle being so tall, and him being so short, his leg still collided with with his ribs instead of his jaw, sending him flying once more.
He felt something crack beneath his skin, causing him to wince and grit his teeth to prevent any expression of pain. As he flew, he twisted himself while in mid air, forcing himself back down onto the ground on all fours as he finished skidding back, just as his foot touched the wall.
So there the boy stood, right arm shaking slightly as the pain of his broken rib radiated through him. He could take the time to heal it, but then he'd have even less energy to try this Flash Spirit technique. No, he just needed another minute to gather up his strength and suck it up.
When Komatsu pushed himself back up to his feet, he ran towards his uncle as fast as he could, quickly trying to immitate him by jumping up and throwing an elbow strike to the face.
There were two factors working against him here though. For starters, his energy was low and his strike was just that, a strike, and second of all... his uncle had a distinct height advantage...

Although Komatsu tried to dodge the attack, Miso was far bigger and that made things extremely harder. The result? Well… Komatsu was hit in the ribs and some of them were broken. Nasu sighed in irritation when he saw that scene; there was just so much one person could do after breaking ribs during a fight, and he knew this spar was close to the end. ”If he doesn’t react soon, he won’t be able to master the initial level of the Soy School… That will be annoying! Come on, stupid shit brat! Do something!!” he thought to himself, as he started hammering his fingers on his arm and stomping his feet on the floor, growing impatient.
Miso was having tons of fun, and he enjoyed breaking Komatsu’s ribs; he loved the sound and the feeling it gave and that made him chuckle again, overjoyed with pleasure, filling his blood rushing with adrenaline like crazy. It had been a while since the last time he had this much fun in a fight, and he would savor every bit of it. Komatsu was sent sailing thought the air to the edge of the Training Hall, and his foot even touched the holographic wall, simulating the skies beyond the Timeless Lookout. Then, harvesting his remaining strength, he launched himself at Miso one more time, trying to attack him with melee. Nasu growled in anger. – Stupid! He will crush you!!! His skill is far more refined than yours! You are in a bad shape!!! – he exclaimed, showing some sort of concern for Komatsu. Miso, on the other hand, just chuckled and, as Komatsu’s elbow approached his face, he just moved his hand almost effortlessly and blocked the elbow, holding it with his powerful grip.
– Stupid move! But bold! I like that kid! You are brave! Yet, unrefined and unpolished! But you will grow! Your ferocity is not from Natto, but from Tomoroko! Use it to your advantage! Keep on coming, brat!!! Hit me with your Flash Spirit soon, or I will end up killing you! – he said, as his hand glowed with a fiery like blue-colored energy. Miso kept Komatsu on his tight grip with his right hand, while his left hand charged an attack. Then, he threw an energy punch right at Komatsu’s already broken ribs. – Taste the Tyrant Lancer!! – he exclaimed, as he attacked.
If Komatsu dodged it or not, the energy punch would be followed by the opening of his palm and a powerful energy wave that would be fired from it, completing the attack, that was also a technique Nasu and their father had, one of his signature techniques. Miso definitely didn’t take it easy, he was a true beast and seemed to be completely deprived or mercy and, worst of all, he rather enjoyed crushing the young saiyan.
However, he panted a bit after this final attack, showing he was tired of constantly attacking Komatsu. That was probably the perfect and only opportunity he would have to use the Flash Spirit.

Koma wanted to yell at Nasu to shut up. He knew what he was doing, and he knew very well that he was at a disadvantage. He also knew that being smaller made him more nimble than his uncle. Depending on his uncle's reaction, he could probably snake his way around him and try the Flash Spirit from behind.
Though he had no such luck. Instead of dodging him or pushing him aside, Miso simply grabbed his elbow, and Nasu's word's rang in his ears. 'He will crush you!' Well not if Komatsu had anything to say about it! He hadn't saved up enough every for the Flash Spirit, but he had saved up enough to defend himself! He had seen the Tyrant Lancer enough times before to know what to expect, and he had to time it right. As Miso's fist came flying towards him, he knew he had no choice but to let it hit, but the instant that Miso opened his hand Komatsu unleashed a massive amount of energy from within his core.
His aura flared up around him and then expanded at the speed of an explosion around him. It would be enough to push Miso and Koma apart, while taking the brunt of the Tyrant Lancers attack. The Tyrant Lancer didn't over power his Explosive wave by much, and so the damage from the attack was far less than it would have been had it hit him full force.
Still, Komatsu found himself on his ass once more, a small expression of pain escaping his lips as his hand covered the area over his broken ribs. He was panting heavily again as his energy was running very low again... but on the plus side, so was Miso.
'This is nothing... Ignore it...' Komatsu coached himself as he shakily pushed himself up to his feet once more. His teeth were grit tightly as he bore the pain of the broken ribs that were now damaging him from the inside. The hand that covered the area was trembling lightly, but otherwise that was the only expression of pain he would let himself show.
"You're... very contradicting Nasu... Flash spirit is a charge... I need to get up close. I'm not done...not yet..." He panted as he pushed a confident grin back onto his lips. He wasn't used to being able to call it quits, he was always pushed to the brink of death before. If he couldn't do that now, then he wouldn't learn the absolute most that he could, and he'd consider it quitting.
He moved his hand away from his side and brought them up into the same fighting stance as earlier. Not his sloppy, open palmed stance, but the proper Soy School stance Nasu had corrected him into. He just needed another quick minute to gather up his energy.
