Mar tends to go barefooted when in the Otherworld or on the Sacred World of the Kai's, and carry a lot less ornamentation about him than most Kaioshin, forgoing the usual robes that his people wear, for a less formal style. He wears a single pauldron on his left shoulder, paired with a forearm bracer which he utilises as a guard in his spars, whilst the pauldron gives any little spirits or animals he comes across a perch to sit on without fear of accidentally harming him. He carries a pendant hanging from his waist to always remind himself to keep himself in balance, and that he shouldn't try to intervene with anything and everything that goes on in the universe under his watch. He of course wears a pair of orange Potara earrings in his ears.
Living World Appearance:
In the Living World however, Mar garbs himself in full silver battle armour and combat boots as if prepared for combat, his hair trimmed back through magical means to give his opponents less to try and grab hold of. He carries with him a red scarf as well, paired with his goggles that he can use to shield his face from any harsh elements such as sandstorms or blizzards that he may encouter in the Living World. Never know when or where a threat to the universe may arise from, and Mar would rather be prepared and not require it, than need it and not have it.
He still carries his pendant on his waist though to remind him of his duty in the Living World, to only intervene with the matters that require his attention and not every little thing along the way. And to also use every ounce of his power at his disposal to see the threat is ended as soon as possible. He of course wears a pair of orange Potara earrings in his ears.

Backstory:
During the time of the Kai's getting murdered by the calamity known as Majin Buu, Mar was but a stripling and managed to evade the monster's notice till long after it was sealed away. Whilst the Grand Kai set about his goal of stopping the beast with the eventual aid of Earth's heroes, Mar was working on training his body and spirit, and didn't even take up the mantle of the Eastern Supreme Kai until after the battle on the Sacred World of the Kai's.
Since that day he has been focused on trying to improve and hone his martial skills so that should another threat arise like the calamity of the past, he would be ready and would not need to resort to the measures of recruiting mortals to attend to the issue. Of course, he looks out to his domain now and then, grimacing as several events occur that he feels could use his intervention, but at the same time they resolve themselves without much input from him. He cannot stop every single disaster that envelops his corner of the universe, as much as he would desire to.
One other reason he looks out upon the universe now and then, both the living and the Otherworld, is to keep an eye out for any potential students... the Kai's beneath the Kaioshin take upon themselves students, notably those that stopped the threat of Majin Buu were students of a Kai... if Mar could find some promising students of his own, then perhaps the universe would require less intervention on the part of the Kaioshin. That and sparring with only himself gets quite boring after a few centuries, along with only watching the universe and not interacting with it.

The green and yellow haired youth looked out across the endless plain that was the Sacred World of the Kais, rolling his shoulders as his gaze tilted upwards towards the stars in the distant skies. Each star a different set of worlds, and each world with its own problems. Recently he'd felt rumblings of something, but he couldn't be sure if it was good or ill. Most of the rumblings of late seemed to be focused on two certain planets in the Northern Supreme Kai's purveyance, Vegeta and Earth...
Whatever was going on on those two worlds, Mar was almost certain that it was leading up to something massive. He just couldn't tell what yet though, and that annoyed the Kaioshin more than anything else. As a Supreme Kai, he should be able to tell whether an event was good or bad... but of late, they had been a mixture of both. In his mind's eye that was either a failing on his part, or a sign that some new calamity was going to come about.
Whatever was going on on those two worlds, Mar was almost certain that it was leading up to something massive. He just couldn't tell what yet though, and that annoyed the Kaioshin more than anything else. As a Supreme Kai, he should be able to tell whether an event was good or bad... but of late, they had been a mixture of both. In his mind's eye that was either a failing on his part, or a sign that some new calamity was going to come about.
Earth's new Guardian was apparently a Saiyan, according to King Yemma's report. Mar's ears twitched at that seeming coincidence. Both Earth and Vegeta's destinies had been long entertwined, at least several centuries worth of history lay between them even if most of it had been forgotten by the mortal realms. The fact that a Saiyan was Earth's Guardian did not seem at all like coincidence to the Eastern Supreme Kai. He had considered at one point contacting this new Guardian, to get a better understanding of the situation personally... but thought better of it. For now. For the time being, he would have to be content watching the situation as it developed, however slowly or quickly that may be. Even if it was probably none of his business since it was the North Galaxy after all, and he was in charge of the East.
Mar sighed as he stood up and stretched his body, grimacing as his body protested against his movements. He'd only been sitting there for the last couple of months, so he couldn't figure out why his body was grumbling at him so much. Maybe it was the inactivity for so long? "Perhaps my body's more in tune with the cosmos than my mind is eh?" he asked of nobody, a slight smirk crossing his features as the notion struck him. He shook his head though.

Of course, then came the most hated part of anyone when their body's been still for too long in the one position. "Pins and needles, pins and needles! Ow ow ow ow!" winced Mar as he began to walk it off, refusing to fly as he had to get his body working again.

It took a couple of hours, but eventually the sensation subsided and he was himself again. Mar once more looked up to the stars, focusing his attention on the distant worlds of Earth and Vegeta. Something was going on on those worlds, and the Supreme Kai did not feel at ease with this inaction. Course, it could just be his paranoia talking. Mar snorted and gave a slight chuckle. "Maybe I'm just going nuts from all this time alone... think I'll pay North a visit. See what he's been up to lately... maybe get in a spar or two as well." he mused before he began to fly off into the air towards where his Northern counterpart tended to reside. And maybe get a second opinion about the distant rumblings while I'm at it... Mar thought to himself.
