Wolf School - Part I (Solo/Soy Capital)

A week had passed since Nasu met Karota at the northern mountains of Planet Natto and she accepted him as her new disciple. Things were going to be rough, but he needed this new power, as well as hew wisdom in the council, so the young Overseer was determined to handle a little humiliation and annoyance for that sake. Karota was really good with keeping promised and at the dawn of the day, before the first light, she was already helping herself in the Soy Training Hall, making some warm-ups in order to get ready to face spar with Nasu and teach him her skills and techniques. The young Overseer arrived within first light, and got quite surprised she was already there.

– Here already. I thought you mentioned first light. – he said, folding his arms as he stared at her. Karota giggled a bit, with sweat already running down her temples and pointed her index finger right at Nasu, which immediately annoyed him. ”Grrr… I hate when people point fingers at me!” he muttered to himself.

– I’m your master, kiddo! So I need to be an example! And you seriously need a good example you can respect! Hihihi! – she said, teasing him quite a lot. Nasu snorted and rolled his eyes in his orbits, but then, his scouter beeped reading her energy signature which was almost double the energy he sensed back when they met. – What?! Your power level! Is… On Miso’s level! – he exclaimed, completely surprised and unable to hide it. Karota laughed and rested her hands on her waist, staring at Nasu with a mischievous expression. – But of course! I was suppressing my power level, Nasu! Hihi. But this is all I have without transforming, so… No more surprises! Master and student need to build up some trust! Hihi. Right, my little student? – she teased him once again, widening her cocky smirk. Nasu gritted his teeth, feeling completely annoyed.

– Why you… - but before he could even finish his sentence, she pointed her index finger once again. – Now, take away that scouter! It’s good sometimes, but on this training it will not help! You rely too much on that thing and you feel waaaaayy to little! You are almost like a handicapped person! – and her tone was annoying to his ears and, although growling and complaining to himself, Nasu took it off, leaving it near the control panel of the Soy Training Hall. – Good! Now come to the ring and let’s get started! – she ordered. Nasu sighed deeply and returned to a more serious expression. ”Can’t allowe her to anger me, or I will be her play thing!” he thought to himself, making a brief nod as he stepped into the ring.

However, the second Nasu stepped there, Karota vanished in an absurd speed and reappeared right in front of him, crouching and with an energy punch ready, that turned to be a powerful hook to his gut. – Ki Blast Thrust!! – she roared as he hit the young saiyan overseer. Nasu puked a little with the surprise attack and doubled himself, feeling a huge amount of pain. – B-bitch…! Ugh! – he groaned, but before he could do anything else, she was already at the Wolf School stance, ready to kick his ass a little bit more. ”Shit! I can’t react!” he thought to himself, feeling the pain approaching together with the humiliation. – Wolf Hurricane! – she exclaimed and then the technique started; Karota initially delivered a major claw attack with her fingers slashing across Nasu’s armor and leaving a deep mark on it. Then, she used her other open palm to deliver a palm strike, sending him flying away, sailing thought the air adrift, until he managed to harness his ki energy and stop midair.

– Asshole!! I wasn’t prepared! I’d just stepped into the ring!! – he complained with deep anger in his tone. Karota laughed out loud and folded her arms. – Tell that to your enemies in war! They will most definitely listen and let you get ready, stupid moron! – she said, and that made him even more angry because she was right. Nasu flared his ghostly-white ki aura and Karota responded by flaring her own crimson ki aura. The due charged against each other. Nasu tried to land a Soy-Style haymaker to her face, but she was quick to duck, dodging his attack and charging energy on her fist once again. ”Shit!” Nasu was left wide open by her reaction and, in the next moment, he was hooked in the gut again by her attack. – Ki Blast Thrust!!! This is getting boring, Nasu! I know all moves of the Soy School! They won’t work on me! Also… - he paused briefly, vanishing and reappearing behind Nasu, landing a fierce knee strike to his back, hitting his spine and making him screech in pain – ARRRGGHHHH!!! – and he was sent flying like a rocket, only to be stopped by the floor beneath him, hitting it hard and screeching again. – You are here to learn the Wolf School, so how about you try to copy just these basic techniques I’ve been beating your sorry ass with?! – she said, giggling a bit as she remained midair, awaiting for him to get back on his feet. – Yeah… Fine! Mock me! But I’ve got to where I am by my power alone! I didn’t have help, other than a computer dad left to me! – he roared, with pure rage in his looks as he started charging energy in his right fist, trying to copy her skill. – Really, Nasu, want me to cry?! Tell you what! You weren’t the only one who lost people in this life! Mind you… I lost the man I loved before and my kids! Now I’m sort of trying to rebuild my life! So… Really sorry if I don’t cry for your pain! We all have pain! Endure it and be a man for once! – she said in a much more serious tone. Her tone, however, fully enraged Nasu, making a vein pop out in his temple.

– Enough!!! – he roared. – I will prove my worth! – he said. Nasu flared his ghostly-white ki aura once again and charged against Karota with all his will and rage. Upon reaching her, he threw his attack. – Taste your own medicine!! Ki Blast Thrust!!! – he roared as he tried to deliver a hook to her gut. Karota, however, used both her hands to block his attack and was successful. Nasu arched both his eyebrows in disbelief. – H-how?! I’m stronger and… I used the technique! – he asked, startled by her skill. – You are so blind you can’t even see what’s going on in front of you… But I will compliment you for using the Ki Blast Thrust! You are skilled! Just… Immature! – she answered, attacking him with a powerful 12-6 style elbow strike to the top of his head, sending him down again. – If you are surprised by my movements, try looking carefully! – and that was the tip she gave him.

Nasu managed to stop his fall before hitting the ground and stared back at her, with teeth gritted. ”The fuck she means… Wait! I think I understand it!” and to finally be able to see it made him feel awestruck; Karota had been powering up for a brief second, using her hybrid power to completely dominate Nasu. She did it so skillfully and so quickly he couldn’t even notice before. ”She is a beast…” he thought to himself, with eyes wide open.

– You gonna stay down there looking like a buffon? Alright then! Let me bring the fight back to you! – and with those words, she charged against him again, with her fingers ready to claw him once again. Nasu narrowed his eyes and stared right at her approaching. He was calming himself, he needed to apply the Go no Sen, otherwise he would be hit again. Karota would power-up in the second before attacking him, and he knew his Rapid Movement skill wouldn’t be enough. He would have to go further than that. ”Yes… I can do it! I just need to focus my energy. And then, I will counter! With that very same technique!” he decided.

With his strategy set, Karota flared the dull golden aura a second before clawing Nasu. Once he sar that, he harvested a lot of his own energy to leave an Afterimage of himself, fully dodging her attack. Karota was clearly surprised she hit an afterimage and, as she turned around, Nasu was already with his attack ready. – I’ve got you know! Thank you for the heads up! Wolf Hurricane! – he roared as he clawed the side of her body, scratching her and taking some blood out of his new master, sending her flying down. Karota recovered just before hitting the ground, landing with her left foot and her right knee, cracking the titled floor with the sheer force of impact. She stared at Nasu seriously and then cracked a grin, getting back on her feet. – Good! You finally reacted! You are not so useless after all! – she teased him and he hmphed.

The duo of warriors would continue fighting for the whole day, so that Nasu could properly learn the form of the attacks, dodges and blocks of the Wolf School. He was a fast learner and Karota was an amazing teacher. Still, her amazing ability to power up that quickly proved to be something quite hard to deal with, and Nasu had to master his newly developed afterimage technique, but this strategy was quite exhausting and, with nightfall he was already completely drained and unable to go on. Nasu was on the floor, with his battle suit partially broken, all wet in sweat and panting heavily. Karota was tired too, but not nearly as much as her new apprentice.

– You are alright for your first training. Get some rest, we shall continue it tomorrow! – she said, with a large smirk on her face. Nasu nodded, still panting a lot. – Alright… Just… let me rest here… I’m… Fine… - he said, unable to get up. Karota laughed at that and grabbed her student, putting him over his shoulders. Nasu complained and flounced a lot, but it was useless. – P-put me down!! This is humiliating!! – he yelled, and Karota only laughed back. – Relax! No one will see you being carried! Unless you keep on kicking and screaming! – and her argument was enough to make Nasu shut up and allow himself to be carried.

The first level of the Wolf School was mastered, but their fierce training was bound to continue until Nasu could claim mastery over all the school techniques and skills.
