In a dark room of a random Namekian village, Xiao Qing would be laying on what looked to be a table or bed of some kind, perhaps a mix of the two. The namekian had taken some seriously mortal blows in his last fight against the strange creature that took the Guardian's life. Honestly, it was a surprise that he was even laying in a bed or anything of the sort, and not laying in the ground forever lost to the world itself. It must have been a miracle but there he was, his eyes closed on the table like structure, the strange slashes from the creature buried deep into his chest. But soon, another namekian would enter the room, slowly looking over Xiao and just shaking his head, before leaving the room with a sighing sound like he was disappointed. There was constant chatter within the other rooms of the building but Xiao would continue to lay there in his state, not moving or anything of the sort, though there were still signs of life coming from the Namekian and his body as he would lay. It was obvious that this wasn't a sleeping or resting state however.
Soon enough, a few more Namekians would enter the room, including the one that had entered before, all clambering around the table to look at Xiao. "How long has he been here again?" one would speak up in a curious manner, inquiring about the time that Xiao was in the room. "Well, I found him like this on the same night the Guardian was taken... Now I've lost track of time, but quite a bit to not have woken up or fully healed from his wounds" the one that first came in would state, looking to the one that spoke up. "So his body is standing strong in keeping him alive then? He just never woke up from that night. That surely means he was fighting the same thing that took the protector? I feel sorry for the fool, if the Guardian couldn't take the creature, nobody cou-" a third would speak up before being immediately silenced. "Quiet! Do not speak down to family who was trying to avenge one of our very own. Sure it may have been suicidal, but that shows dedication does it not? To fight against all odds, to protect ones own home, the Guru, and to avenge the Guardian? Does he not deserve some sort of praise, to be accepted by his family?" the first would say in a firm tone. He seemed to have some sort of connection to Xiao Qing, who was still laying on the table, unmoved from the commotion around him. "Fine fine, but I believe he may be a lost cause at this point, if he has not got up even once from that day, shall he not be considered dead already!" the third would chime in once more before getting waved out of the room. "No, don't dare count him out yet. He may be weak but his will to carry on... it must be upheld. Its not like resources are wasted keeping him here... lets just, keep him here and hope that he can continue his training once more, once he wakes up it should be fine!" the first would end off on before the entire group would leave the room but him. He just stared down at Xiao and pulled up a little chair, sitting in it and looking over the Namekian. It must have been a long time that the Namekian just had to spend time, looking over a resting body that would never awaken for all that time. To still believe that it would turn around was truly a miracle all its own, how could one even believe such a person, wounded with deep scars and a eviscerated body from such powerful attacks to ever wake up. Well, a thing called hope could always drive someone to do so, though it was a little odd that the Namekian still had hope such as that for a man long wounded. Who truly knew how long had past. Days? Weeks? Months...? It was hard to tell, but the time frame was quite noticeable, to wake up into something like this must have been scary. Even though there was hope for this Namekian to wake again, would it be fair? Perhaps it wouldn't be but the Namekian never cared for that, a Dragon Clan Namekian who had the will and the desire to become the Guru, to surpass into the realm of status in the Namekian society. That was something needed for a time that they were suffering through. Not only that but they needed a Guardian too, but as for that, it would be harder to find just anybody who wanted in, with the lack of people just standing up and saying they would take the position of the dead Guardian.
However, it was then that the hopes and prayers of the Namekian people within that small village, most importantly the Namekian who had stayed by Xiao's side during the entire process, were finally answered. As Xiao's hand would gently twitch, the Namekian would slowly flinch, staring at the hand as it would twitch again, Xiao now making grunting sounds as he would begin to move his hand. "It truly is a miracle... Elder! Elder!" he would say, running out of the room to go fetch the one of the group that spoke first, but never said anything again, who came in quickly after with the First Namekian. "What is it, did something chan- Oh my... is he...?" The one would speak, supposedly the Elder of the village considering the words of the Watchful Namekian. Xiao's eyes would slowly open as his head would slowly begin to turn, looking around the room. "Yes Elder... he's finally awakening, I told all of you that we just had to hope for his return! Isn't this wonderful Elder!" the Watchful Namekian would say, almost near excitement as he would speak. "Yes its... quite the Miracle. Even through all of our healing efforts, he was showing no signs of coming around. Now he chooses to awaken? What could the reason be?" the elder would continue to speak before Xiao would slowly start feeling around on his chest, wincing in pain as he would feel the wounds on his body from the battle fought with the creature, Isaac, that put him in this state anyways. Though he had no way to know where he was or what he was doing, or how long it had been since that battle. "Xiao Qing... is it? How are you feeling, are you doing okay?" the elder would continue to ask before Xiao would fully sit up and stretch, looking to the elder with a worried look on his face. "Where is that creature? I was just fighting it, it left me alive? I-Is the Guru okay...?" Xiao would question one after another towards the elder who would just look towards the ground with a disheartened face. "Nobody knows where the creatures whereabouts are at the moment. And yes, it surprisingly left you alive, however it probably thought you were being left for dead. Even some of us thought you were a lost cause. You see, it has been quite a while... since you fought that creature and passed out due to your wounds. You are just barely waking up from the pain in fact, been quite a number of the two suns rotations passing by since you were found. As for the Guru... nobody has been brave enough to check on him. However, that beast was powerful... strong enough to kill the Guru if it wanted to, though we have no way to know if it would even care about the Guru. But because of this... we aren't exactly optimistic about his survival, though we hope and pray to hear of his survival soon... but none of us are sure. Though! Now that you are awake, we want to see if you will continue your training. We know you looked up to the Guardian and look up to Lord Guru as well, so in... worst case scenario. We sort of wanted to see if you would continue training towards taking up his position... maybe" the elder would explain, trying to be as sincere as possible, sounding like he was being as kind and caring as possible, but also looking out for the best of their race, making some pretty saddening remarks for the Namekian.
With this news meeting him head on, Xiao was a little more than scared and terrified. Perhaps the others were right in that him never waking up would be a bad idea. "No... No it can't be true! I can't have been out for so long... you can't make me believe that! Guru is alright... he's... he's going to be just fine I say! Let me just go!" Xiao would yell out before pulling himself off of the table and starting to try and run, but he would easily trip and plant himself to the ground, painfully starting to grunt as he tried to pick himself up. The tears on his face were genuine from the sadness drawn within him. "LORD GURU! I'M COMING.... To save you..." he would be pawing at the ground now, trying to drag himself across to be able to get to guru, being too fatigued from just waking up after that long coma state to be able to fully move, his limps needing their time to readjust themselves. Though that could be a sign to showing just how weak he really was. The elder would just look over to the watchful Namekian who had a worried look on his face, before just kneeling down next to Xiao in a caring voice. "I understand that waking up in a world like this can't be easy. But that is why if you calm down and accept it... work through it. Put in the time and the effort... you'll be able to do great things. You'll be an inspiration, Xiao. You just have to believe in yourself!" was all the elder could calmly say to Xiao for the time being, he needed to be able to hear the Namekian respond. "...How am I supposed to accept it... its so hard... what if my Guru is dead... what if so many others have died. I don't think I can clear my mind... to put in the time and the effort... I'll never be an inspiration... I'm a failure" he would say, pounding his fist once against the tiles of the floor. "Xiao, you worked hard every day of your life in hopes of sitting among the greats, and to one day take over if anything happened right? You rushed to help your Guru... and fought to avenge your Great Protector when he had died. Tell me, all of this is correct?" the elder would calmly speak down to the fallen Namekian, who just looked back up in a quizzical way. "Yes... I did rush to help Guru... and fought the beast to avenge... the Guardian... I don't see how that means anything" Xiao would slowly respond as he looked up, gritting his teeth very gently. It was a bit too much to handle, yes, but he could make it through this. "Now Xiao... this is the time where you need to show that determination. That training! You tried to avenge the great protector but you weren't strong enough to be able to. If you were to work hard at it... be strong enough to become the next Guru himself! You can try again... to avenge the Guru and the Guardian. To make sure that neither of them died in vein, and to finally push that creature off of our planet and into the afterlife! Xiao... out of all of us in this village, you're the only one who can do it. Perhaps other villages wont rally behind our hero... and maybe some will even call upon their own to take the mantle. Perhaps some all their own will take up the will to take it. But for us... here... for us you are OUR champion... the one worthy of being Guru" the elder would explain to Xiao, bringing up how there could definitely be some Namekians out there that wanted to take the position as Guru themselves. But for the village that he was in at the moment, where he was laying. Xiao Qing was their candidate. "So listen to our words... you will bring honor to us all... you will make the great Namekian race... the dragon clan... our planet. You will make them all honored with your presence. You must begin your training immediately as you get your strength back, however. Once you realize that, you will be able to go full throttle towards the position itself, and take out that beast!" the Elder would continue speaking before standing and smiling down to him.
Throughout all of that, Xiao Qing would just listen, tears welling up in his eyes as he looked up at the elder, before he began nodding. He wasn't a powerful namekian... but he was a determined one. Hearing those words just brought inspiration to Xiao's entire being. He would slowly make himself rise, and his arms would be thrown to the upper worlds themselves with a mighty stretch, as he would crack a smile on his face. "If you say so Elder... I'll make all of you proud. I'll make the Guru and the Guardian smile down at me from above as I bring them honor! I'm ready now... ready to get out there and train... Just point me the way lord Guru!" was all that the Namekian would say, shouting to the sky itself as he would say his last line, trying to get guidance from a land further beyond. With that, the Elder would pat Xiao on the back before making motion for the exit of the building, just leaving behind almost immediately. The watchful Namekian would then just smile at Xiao, happiness strewn across his face. "I watched over you for so long... I had faith you would return to us! Its just... so good to see it come true! My name is Da Lu, of the Warrior Caste! Nice to meet you Xiao!" he would say excitedly before making motion for the exit as well. "Come on, we need to go show everyone you're awake!" Da Lu would then make his way outside, Xiao making way quickly and closely behind into the beating sunlight that the planet had from its never ending daylight from two suns. Many people would look at the Namekian, curious and surprised. Murmurs of different people going "Who's that?" and "Whoa is that him?" others going as far as saying "No way... he actually woke up". One standing out loudly going "Seriously! Right as we left! Whats up with that timing!" in an almost irritated and comical way. Though the elder and Da Lu would calm them all down so that they would father in front of the house, Da Lu going more to stand among the crowd as all the Namekians in the village were looking upon Xiao Qing and the Elder. Though the village itself didn't have many people in it, it was still nice to look at. "People of this village... after waiting so much time, Xiao Qing has finally re-awoken, it is time for him to take up the mantle as the Villages trainee, and candidate to cleanse the creature that is plaguing our planet. He may not be prepared... yet. However, with time we are sure of his potential to sky rocket. We just need to help him through it! So what do you all say, will you help us with this, as a village?!" the elder would shout out to all of them, it would take a few seconds of silence where Da Lu was the only one roaring in agreement, but before long, all of them were roaring words of praise and acceptance, seeing it as perhaps an answer to all that they were asking for. Though it was a little silly that they all looked up to him that way even though he just woke up, but he didn't turn it away.
"Thank you all... its such an honor" Xiao would say to the entire group who would slowly die down in speaking. "I don't know what I would do... if it wasn't for you all. Without the elder I probably would have fell into sadness and refused to come out. But he made points that I couldn't refuse... that I felt were too strong to turn down. Now, my determination is soaring. I myself want to show it to you all! I promise I wont let you down... I'll help Namek to the best of my abilities! Just give me the time and the resources, and I swear I will be able to... thank you all" was all he would say before going quiet and turning to the Elder, who was now letting the group go on its own business for the time being. "Of course, Xiao... but get a bit of rest... you will need it for the coming training. It will be quite vigorous and you'll need to be able to keep up with some of the Warrior Caste... we also have some things that may help. But its up to you if you want to use them. Come now, shall you follow me to my house? I need to show you what it is... and to see if you will accept it. I can't make you accept it but it could be something vital to your training. So what about it Xiao?" the elder would say before beginning to walk. "Yes Elder, I will be right behind you" was all he would say before waving off the rest of the Namekians and saying goodbye to Da Lu, only starting to then follow after the Elder, not knowing what would come out of all of this.
