The Fanatic's rise to Mastery! (Closed) (Atsuko/Jarvis)

The Water Elemi responded in a very confident way, stating that she would make sure it would be remembered. Atsuko couldn't help but smile at that, she definitely had no reason to doubt Ayami in that regard. The Albino Saiyan watched the way that the Elemi carried herself now. The difference from when they first started training, to this... It was almost like looking at night and day. But even so, Ayami herself hadn't changed that much despite how far she had come. Atsuko hoped it would stay that way; she was very worried about that Prophecy, and it was fair that she was...

But it seems like they had gotten through to her, too. Ayami responded to Emi, expressing interest in spending more time with her after all this. This particular training session was nearly finished! This was actually the last lesson of the Martial Arts, but Atsuko had a few more personal lessons that she wished to impart to the Elemi. Namely how to better control her energy, and then how to control that greater power. Both of these would be very important for her to learn, the Albino Saiyan saw it happen more than a few times.

How the Water Elemi lost control of her emotions, and her power flared up to extraordinary heights. It wasn't her fault, she just didn't know how to properly handle them yet. Finally, Ayami began to gather her energy and slowly move her sword into position. The Albino Saiyan continued to watch, it looked amazing. It felt the same way, she could sense every little nuance that the Elemi had to pour into this single moment. The Water Elemi then lets out the shout, and unleashes the massive pillar of energy that she had built up; the sheer amount of power behind it...

By her estimations, Ayami just practically negated the effects of those Heavy Weights, and a little bit more. It was nothing short of impressive, and once she had the chance to rest? It was going to be even more so! In light of that, Atsuko stood up from the chair and calmly walks towards the Elemi. The Knight would gently place her hand on Ayami's shoulder. "You've done very well... At this point, you're a full fledged Knight. I have no further lessons to teach you in regards to the Martial Arts. But that doesn't mean your training comes to an end, of course!"

Atsuko stated with a smile. "You'll be able to grow even more. This isn't an ending, it's a beginning... Remember that, okay?", the Saiyan would add, then turning her gaze to the Android as she began to speak up. Emi seemed to be troubled by something... "Well, I intended to teach Ayami a few more things... But if you need, we could send you back to the Lookout so you can rest. I wouldn't want to make you any more uncomfortable than you already are, so I'll leave that up to you, okay?", the Knight responds calmly.

While their Martial Arts Training was done, there was still two more things Atsuko wanted to go over, with that in mind... "Now, Ayami. We're going to talk about suppressing your power. It's a technique that lets you hide your true capabilities. It's a strategy you may very well want to consider one day, as it can be used to avoid detection, and take enemies by complete surprise.", the Albino Saiyan would then start into yet another lesson. Normally they would have just stopped by this point, but seeing as how the Elemi wasn't tired to the point of dropping...

Which was a rather impressive feat, by the by; it meant that they could continue just a bit farther. Atsuko didn't want to keep putting it off. "We'll start with some meditation.", the Saiyan adds, then stepping back in order to sit down and assume a meditative posture. "You can sense energy... This will help you. Start by shutting out the distractions around you, focus on the sensations that you feel inside of and around you.", the Knight was speaking in a soft tone of voice now, to allow Ayami a chance to focus on what she needed to do.

"When you feel these sensations, I want you to start drawing them closer together. Compress them as much as you can together.", the Albino Saiyan explained further, then began to demonstrate it herself. The Saiyan's energy began to shrink, down to a nearly if not undetectable level. "It may take you a few attempts... You'll just have to practice it. Especially if you wish to maintain your power being hidden even while you fight.", the Albino Saiyan continued. Then falling silent to allow Ayami to focus. There really wasn't many other ways for Atsuko to explain the process.

Ayami was a fairly bright individual when it came to this, however. Meanwhile, Excalibur walks over to Emi. "Hey, while they're meditating... Do you want to talk? I can still send you back to the Lookout if you like, but you seem really bothered by something. You alright?', the Sacred Sword attempted to strike up conversation with the Android. It was weird to see the normally cheery individuals so serious... In the case of the Android, it really bothered the woman in red. She never noticed a moment before where she looked so worked up. She was acting like she had seen a ghost.

"I don't mean to pry, it's just... You look like you've seen a Ghost. You're our guest, and under our protection. So there's no need to be scared, alright?", Excalibur would attempt to assure the girl. Still, she couldn't make any guesses as to what it was that was bothering Emi so much. There was very clearly something wrong, but... It didn't do her any good to speculate on what, if the Android told her what was wrong, then that would change up the approach quite a lot. But this was all she had to work with for now.

Maybe comforting her would be enough of an act for now.

Emi drew in a breath rubbing lightly at one of her arms not showing any sign of taking the exit. But nodded at the idea of resting with Ayami or perhaps easing some of her pains however she could from a hard training session. After all if her scans were correct such hardened activities such as these even if just in triangle took a real toll on ones body and core. She'd be there to work the tension from the young girls muscles and be a soothing nearby friend. Her fingers fidgeting as she stayed calm looking towards the ground lightly. 

She looked at the woman clad in red as she just shook her head calmly to Ayami's requests to leave and giving only a soft smile in response. Letting them go to their meditation and place of peace and focus. Ayami just watching and looking towards Excalibur. Acting as if she was bout to speak but closed her mouth briefly looking back to Atsuko and even Ayami. It was a mixed expression. Maybe as if she wasn't sure she should share... or that she wanted it reaching all ears. Before only speaking simply. "Its just part of who I am I guess... I'm not sure if you can understand or if you'd understand perfectly... We aren't exactly the same as them are we? Me what I am and you... clearly something else at its core. Of course I don't mean that in any bad way... I guess its just a confusing time. I know how I feel about things. An how I feel about others. Just now when they come together in conflict. If... If I asked you something. Does it only reach your ears?" Her eyes looking towards Ayami the girls she... well. An Atsuko clearly when she looked back asking if ot implying some confidence. Discretion to say the least. Rubbing at her arm as something in her related to the blade. 

OR at least she hoped some mutual feeling was true. They were both not exactly what you'd call normal forms of life. But Emi had no idea if the spirit of this sword was something g forged or simply tied to the spirit like some demonic magic she'd heard about in study. She cleared her throat and looked back to the ground. It seemed if she didn't hear what she wanted she may not be willing all that much to talk simply sighing and looking back to Ayami. Her eyes often fixing on the Elemi it seemed when she didn't let them wonder elsewhere. They were caring if not sad. Longing as well as looking as if tears could form in that stoically calm expression. "I wouldn't want to burden you. If you can't... take such precaution and secrecy with confidence I understand. Given my position here though... I assume I will always be in some sorts a outsider as well. I am a representative in our alliance. And I..." She'd say softly. 

"Careful what you say girl. You can keep your place here cause the master doesn't care about it personally... But ruin anything for us and it wouldn't take much to pull you back... Kaiyou may have orders not to harm you... But if you leak anything to important... Heh who do you think they'd side with? The General or the waggling tongued toaster... Think careful what you say." That feeling of something clicking off inside her occurred again. Someone was checking her stored files via the connection she'd been sending back records through. Talking via some mind connection as well to let them know it was happening. Her files of the empire let her know who as well... She knew better then to risk fowling up any operation. But she also knew Jarvis nor Kaiyou would allow her to be bullied... she hoped. So as long she kept calm and watched what she said... She could still make it work here. Feeling strange... that actually mattered now. Not just the alliance but also getting to stay here. Fearing if she'd ever have to pull back should something break the allegiance and alliance. "I...I guess. I don't know what to tell you... I hope though we stay allied for many years and throughout time. So we never have to fight or worry about any war." She looked at the lovely sword spirit. Some part of her wanting to reach and hold her as she might have Ayami or Kaiyou if she were here. But alas she felt reserved and to held back to consider such a act. 

Ayami smiled as Atsuko congratulated her on succeeding, she was overjoyed that yet another skill had been mastered, the Water Elemi could tell she was becoming better and better with each new thing she learned, even if she didn't neccesarily know exactly how much better, it was obvious to even her that with each passing moment she was becoming far better than she once was, far more capable of fighting off any threat to her friends and to herself. But more importantly, she could impress those very same friends with these skills she had acquired, something that only made her even happier. To be equal with her idol of all people, it was an amazing prospect.

She listened in amazement as Atsuko told her it would only become easier to suppress from here on, mentioning that she could even increase that ki sense of hers, she could only imagine the ways her power would improve, enthralled at the idea of training those further, though she knew it wasn't exactly the best time for that given her condition right now. She was far too tired to learn more of those skills right now, at best she could manage one more thing, though she didn't seem too upset over the idea, after all, one more thing gave her one more useful ability! She was optimistic about finishing, but also about learning again.

However, Ayami sighed timidly, she knew what was coming next even before Atsuko spoke up again. Training that power spike of hers when she got upset...It terrified her. She couldn't control herself, and at one point she had even launched an attack at the lookout, almost seriously injuring someone, something like that...She often wished it could never come out again, knowing just how badly she could hurt an innocent person, or worse - One of her friends. It filled her with unimaginable terror.

Still, she could have a greater power, possibly even ascend further than that? "You really think so? I've never seen an Elemi become so strong...Not on the level you displayed. That was beyond anything I could hope to match, really." She sighed a bit, but nodded. "I'll give it a try. But if I go too far, you have to promise me." She carefully though firmly grabbed Atsuko's shoulders, looking her in the eyes. "Promise me. that if I take it too far, you can restrain me before I hurt someone. I don't want to live with an accident like that."

She shut her eyes for a second. "Think of something upsetting, I got you. And then...Suppress it...?" The last part she didn't understand as much, hoping she would just...Get it, when she had to, she'd try suppressing in a way to hold onto Enrage. She decided to go ahead, and started thinking of upsetting things, she stood there in silence, her eyes slowly darting about the room as she thought of things that usually upset her...She felt a little bad about it, but nothing was triggering her spike quite like it did when it happened physically.

There was just no thoughts in her mind that hurt as badly as physically experiencing them, it did still make her feel awful, but it was an unavoidable truth, all those thoughts did was make her mildly upset, the waters around her shifting about, but perhaps not enough to trigger the spike as they wanted. It seemed nothing would trigger it...But then she saw it. She saw Emi as her eyes wandered, their eyes locking even from across the room. She saw those eyes look as though tears could form at any moment.

She felt a fire ignite and burn inside her. Her frown grew deeper and deeper the longer she had to see Emi upset, she didn't know why the android girl was upset, but it made her upset too, it made her want to put an end to whoeever made her this way, she saw memories flash by that the two had shared, some only hours ago, she remembered the strange feelings she held for Emi, the way she wanted to care for the girl and hold her in her arms, it made the Water Elemi practically burn.

Indeed the waters around her were turning into a raging torrent, she couldn't stand to see Emi like this! her thoughts rested on making someone pay, anyone! If they made Emi upset, the Water Elemi was going to see justice served by her own hands! her eyes glowed and her power spiked immensely, she was furious now, her thoughts could only rest on Emi, on making her happy again through any means possible, the Water Elemi's heart was hurting, she didn't understand, but she knew one thing for sure that rested on her mind with such a heavy weight.

She wanted to destroy someone for Emi having become like that. She felt so helpless in that moment that she drew her blade, her emotional delusions seeing Atsuko as an enemy, and she rushed forth using Invisible Air! She would certainly have to be restrained now, part of her mind only hoping she didn't hurt Atsuko as...Somehow, somewhere, she still held some control over her emotional mind. her body however struck out against Atsuko! Fury in her eyes like she had not displayed before, tears starting to form as she soon backed off and panted, now too tired to attack a second time, she was starting to become aware. "N...No, I have to...Stop....I'm sorry..." She tried to take deep breaths, tried to make use of ki suppression as well, she had hoped it was not too late to do so, but she still gave it a shot...her mind was calming now, so too were the waters, it almost seemed like she was losing Enrage...But the power spike given by it remained. She gave a sigh as she tried to hold onto her emotions, tried to keep them under control. "..I'm...Sorry, again. I'm trying my best not to attack you, but for some reason my body just wants to act out. I guess I'm such a fool." She shook her head, continuing to take deep breaths as she shut her eyes, she was still upset over Emi, but her desire to become stronger precisely so she could protect that android girl seemed to be reason enough for her to take back control of those fickle emotions of hers.

The Water Elemi was naturally skeptical about being able to actually access even greater powers, much less control them. But Atsuko firmly believed it to be the case. The Albino Saiyan knew that everyone had latent powers, just perhaps different methods to access it, of course. "It may take time, it may take a lot of effort... But you were able to master my Martial Arts, I know that you will be able to call upon greater powers. You may even be able to reach my level if you dedicate yourself enough to such a task.", the Knight responded without hesitation.

The truth was, the Saiyan wasn't anything special. She was just very dedicated to her training regime, that did make her a very powerful person, but she was imparting the same methods to her students, who would all become very skilled Warriors in their own rights. She knew that for a fact, Bernael was already there, even! "You have my word that I won't let you harm anyone. I promise you, Ayami.", the Albino Saiyan once more replied with no hesitation. Ayami was understandably worried about that potential scenario... It was one that Atsuko understood all too well, it was why she avoided using her new form.

Super Saiyan Two. That power was beyond deadly, how her parents were able to use it was something that baffled her mind. Then there was Super Saiyan Three! How did they ever accomplish such a feat? Well, she wasn't going to be discouraged; one way or another she would master every last form. Hell, even with that her training wouldn't be over... One day, she wanted to access a new, even higher form. How would she do that? The Knight had no idea, it was so very far off, like nothing more than a dream.

The Water Elemi didn't seem to entirely understand what Atsuko meant. She was actually referring to bringing that energy back into her body, containing it and maintaining it on a more conscious level, rather than riding off of the emotional highs to do it. It was the difference between relying on instinct, and training to do it. Still, Ayami would mostly have to figure everything out herself anyway. The Elemi had fallen silent, trying to trigger that Enrage of hers. It seemed like it would be a bit of a lengthy wait, as she wasn't able to just trigger it through thoughts alone.

Atsuko frowned a little, maybe she needed something more... Would they have to postpone the lesson for now? The Knight didn't know when would be a good time to do this, however. But Ayami suddenly saw it; just how distraught Emi looked. That seemed to be the key right there... Almost right away, the Saiyan could feel it, that spike in her energy. Even with those Heavy Weights, she became ridiculously powerful! Her strength was unreal, and her speed... She could practically move as if the Weights weren't affecting her at all! But it wasn't all good.

The Water Elemi was beginning to rage out of control, suddenly drawing her sword and unleashing Invisible Air in direction of the Knight. The Albino Saiyan began to move her sheath to stop each incoming slash before it hit her. Thankfully, she was able to rest a little before that came right for her. Even then... The difference was staggering! If Ayami had used anything stronger, she would have actually broke through Atsuko's guard unless she used Super Saiyan. The Water Elemi's fury began to fade, then replaced by tears as she backed off, now too tired to continue the assault.

Her clarity was coming back, as she began to apologize. The Albino Saiyan walks towards Ayami, gently pulling her into a hug. "It's alright... I know that wasn't easy for you at all. Everything's fine; now that power. I want you to focus on it, hold onto it, but let your mind clear.", the Knight would soon state, trying to both assure her and help the process along. "The reason why this power disappears when you calm down is because your emotions call them out, and you rely on them to do all the work.", the Saiyan continued.

"You rely on instinct, this is going to let you bypass that trigger, call upon the power when you have need of it... At the very least, you'll be more skilled in shaking off your distress, but holding onto that unreal power of yours.", the Albino Saiyan added, she released the hug a little, then smiling a bit. "You almost broke though my guard, you know? You're really getting strong now... I'm proud of you, Ayami.", Atsuko then finished. There was no other lessons to go over, Ayami had more than earned her rest at this rate. They all did.

Meanwhile, Excalibur was listening intently to everything that Emi had to say. The poor girl had more than a few concerns... She was so worried about everything. And in many ways, the Sacred Sword could relate to her. "Look... We won't be enemies. I know you have your loyalties, and I know why you wouldn't want to betray them for anything. I wouldn't make that request of you, either. But no one can make that decision for you...", the woman in red would begin her response, this... Was a tricky subject, she never really envisioned a conflict of interests involving her wielder before.

"I don't know what I would do. I don't think I would be able to choose... But Atsuko wouldn't force it on me, either.", the Sacred Sword would state as she glances over to the Albino Saiyan with a smile on her face, she soon looks back to Emi. "None of us here would put you through that either. This can be your home, Emi. I know that Atsuko and Ayami both feel the same way.", Excalibur would finish her response, that was really about the best way she could handle it. It... Wasn't the most pleasant subject.

Then she heard it, a slight breath by someone through Telepathy, as if they were about to speak. She was just about to catch them red-handed, but then someone else interrupted entirely! This voice was so child-like, and distinctly not hostile. Whoever it was, was speaking of all these assurances that everything was perfectly fine now, and that the Android wasn't in any danger. What the hell was so off about this... It wasn't just a case of a Demon, or something like that. Excalibur felt something familiar about this other being. They seemed to notice it as well.

The Sacred Sword didn't respond to them yet, waiting them out a little bit more. This time, she heard a voice that she definitely recognized. That was Jarvis! "Look... I know who at least one of you are; Jarvis. I'm going to guess you sent Emi here for more than just being an Emissary, too. Manipulating people like this is rather disgusting. An Android at that... You wouldn't happen to be collecting information, now would you? We agreed to a peaceful alliance, not any of this.", the Sacred Sword would finally send her message through the still open Telepathic Link.

"You're on our good side. You want to stay there.", she finished. No doubt the Telepathic Link would have closed by now. About then, she noticed that the Android was clinging to her out of desperate fear. The Sacred Sword returning the hug and trying to get her to calm down a bit. "It's alright. I'm not going to let anything happen to you. I don't care who is responsible.", the woman in red attempted to comfort the Android. Damn it, just how scared she was really bothered her... Jarvis and his lackeys were really starting to push it.

Emi asked if she thought it was going to be alright, and Excalibur gave a nod. "I do. Just stay close to us, nothing bad will happen, I promise you.", she continued, now adopting a... Surprisingly Motherly tone, as she began to gently pet Emi. "Now, why don't we go back to the Lookout? It seems like we're all finished in here now.", the Sacred Sword would state, she looked over to Atsuko once more, who gave a nod to her. Reality then began to shift around all of them, and they would find themselves standing back on the Timeless Lookout.

"Let's get these two to their quarters, they've earned a rest.", Atsuko states. Excalibur nods in agreement, and they begin to help Ayami and Emi respectively to the quarters that the Water Elemi had been using. It was a very long day, and it was finally coming to an end. Both the Albino Saiyan and the Sacred Sword knew that something was happening, and it wasn't exactly carrying good tidings... Yet all they could do for the moment was lie in wait. The Knight really needed to master Super Saiyan Two, she couldn't be that much farther off, right?

She would need that strength to keep everyone safe.

Emi just held on softly and let all the talking continue nuzzling with Excalibur. There was just something strange about the sword woman. A sense of kinship and familiarity of what they were and how they related to other creatures and species. It was a form of understanding she likely couldn't find anywhere else or at least very rarely across the stars. Even then it was unlikely the fates would be so kind as to grant many such sensations again throughout her rather long machine life span. 

"I have alliance with you... not with certain people hiding on that planet if my information is correct... You'll see me soon." Meanwhile somewhere in space. 

"I guess we'll find out soon..." ... "We'll check up if its true... she can either give us the information... Or burn with her friends. Its their own fault if their leader risks breaking the alliance for such crimes against me... Prepare yourself for either outcome." 

An leaving with the others Emi whispered to excalibur. "Its not the people you think you have to watch for... Ill be safe here and I can't say more or risk betrayal. Just know... it won't be who you expect that frightens me. I don't think they'd try anything but they also don't want any dangers. They worry for how I've grown attached to you. They are... paranoid I think the word is. I am a loyal friend to you... and to my leaders... Its just some people in the middle that scare me Cali." Worried even more now. She'd heard those voices for part of the conversation. If this went wrong and she misunderstood or stuck at Jarvis or the Queen... Kaiyou would no doubt order her back. She couldn't out Maraca. Chances are he was just full of threats that held no true intention. He was also a general of legions. He'd helped wipe out dozens of rebel holes and was known in inner circles as skilled for discouraging others form joining such groups. Examples were made often by anyone that dared raise flag or rebellion notice. In truth saiyan population dipped nearly fifteen percent from the light battles. Most the others and weaker smart enough to know when to pledge new allegiance and with no higher elites to stand for them rebellion talk had all but died fully. But a tiny cancerous whisper of it was not a bad thing. Keep it alive just enough to keep your spies watching was the key for Jarvis. To kill it to a full extent would mean chasing too many new leads as they would run the survivors like cockroaches from the den. However let them think a few places were safe... and keep a watchful eye and one could be more easily prepared. 

"Its not as simple for me... I'm not as much of a spirit as you. I know my place in both areas here and there. If you really want to help me... Then lets keep the peace... for as long as we can." She'd say sticking close to excalibur. 


OF course later her and Ayami were alone in the chambers. Ayami outstretched relaxed on the bed. Emi smiling at her her heart sat at some ease after speaking to Excalibur hoping all had been understood now. Emi crawled softly into bed along side her. Her hand drifting over her as she whispered soflty that she was pleased and how amazing Ayami was in soft cooing whispers like that of a doves coo carrying sweet words. She held her warmly and lay her head along the girls shoulder. Kissing her softly when she'd drifted to sleep and nuzzling close to the girl. Laying so she cold breath in the girls scent all night as she rested and Emi lay ever protective at her side. Her core charging but her body ever vigilant. She'd enjoy Ayami in this confusing way for as long as she could... As long as she could..
