Aya's spacepod approached planet Namek after hours of soaring through space. While there was literally nothing to see outside her window besides the light soaring passed faster than she could count them. While extremely boring, it was still far more interesting than her little hidden home deep beneath the Tuffle Ruins.
Aya had been asleep for most of the ride to Namek, only being awoken as Android 1's voice alerted her to the incoming planet. Aya peeked an eye open, yawning widely as she learned forward in her chair, peering outside the window towards the large green planet.
"Woaaaaah, it's so beautiful!" She said excitedly as she stared at the Green orb. The contract between blue and green was obvious, and even from this far away Aya could feel the various life signatures coming from the planet. {{Princess, Please sit back down properly as we are about to enter the planet's atmosphere}} The androids voice stated, earning a huff from Aya as she sat back in her seat, holding on tightly to the arms as the pod began to shake slightly as it entered the planet's atmosphere. Aya watched as flames seemed to engulf the window, hiding planet Namek behind the raging fire. Aya's heart felt like it was stuck in her throat, wondering if she was about to crash, and if she should just pop over to Makai to prevent getting hurt... However before she could decide on anything, the flames disappeared and she was soaring high above the skies of Planet Namek.
The pod began to slow down as it headed towards the ground for a landing. Slower, and slower until finally the pod came to a stop, gently descending until it hit the ground with a light thud.
{{Please be careful princess, if you face any danger please return to the pod and you will be returned to Planet Vegeta}} The android stated, causing Aya to stick her tongue out at the voice box.
"Number 1 stop worrying about me i'm going to be fine! Now open the door please!" She said excitedly, and as instructed, the door to the pod hissed open, allowing the young pink haired demoness to step out with a bounce in her step. She scrunched up her nose as she took a breath of fresh air. The air here felt so much different than the air on planet Vegeta... it wasn't as thick, and the gravity was much lighter! It was a strange sensation, but one that she gladly embraced as she leaped up into the air, feeling lighter than a feather.
"My goodness! I feel like I could easily move twice as fast as before!" Aya exclaimed excitedly as she flew off into the distance. She needed to find a town or city or something so that she could start asking the locals about the dragonballs. She would grasp the radar around her neck tightly, pushing the activatin button again, and again, and yet nothing would pop onto the screen.
It seemed like it was going to be another day of training for the Namekian that was in his training. Xiao was in the village, doing a few little moves that pertained towards fighting, though they were amateur at best, as he still wasn't a powerful person in prospect. Though that didn't stop him from training all the same, working towards becoming the Guru of the entire planet, to give the people of his village, and hopefully the rest of the villages a slight bit of hope when faced with the wrath of the creature that had killed the Guardian, and even the Namekian himself. There was also the fact that nobody knew what had happened to the Guru, however the power difference between the Guru and the creature was widespread. It was big enough to make Xiao Qing think that there was no hope at all for the Guru to have survived... plus the Guru would have called out by then, right? To warn them all of his safety and the defeat of the creature! However that was not the case... and the Guru had not been seen since those months of time gone passed. With that, the only hope for the future was to just continue on with his training.
It did not take long however, for the day to shift into something more unique... aside from the creature that had attacked and slaughtered many... Xiao had never seen an off world person before. So as soon as he saw a little thing in the sky that didn't go hand in hand with any namekian that he had seen before! Which brought him to instantly drop all of his training to fly out of his village. His target was... well, he was flying right towards that girl who was out and about that day. With that in mind, he would intercept her flight path, not in a hostile way but just in a worried way. He had just recuperated.. this was no time for a fight! But with that, he would still have to give it a shot if the time came upon him that he had to, so he would slowly stand tall, not in an offending and rude position but in one that showed some sort of... you could say it showed diplomacy of some sort.
Xiao would then begin to speak up, staring at the figure a bit while sort of gritting his teeth. What were they here for... would they attack as well? Only time would be able to tell! "So... I haven't seen you around our planet before... what brings you here? And who exactly are you?" Xiao would say, cracking a gentle smirk like he was trying to get through this in an orderly and peaceful fashion. But nonetheless he would speak out once more. "Ah yes, but let me introduce myself first. My name is Xiao Qing... I am a Dragon Clan Namekian, as well as aspiring Guru successor... I hope that it will become a pleasure to meet you... miss?" he would explain a bit more on who he was before dropping into silence to allow the woman herself to speak.
Aya had to come to a sliding stop to avoid hitting the Namekian that intercepted her as she flew. he looked quite imposing as he stared her down, even though he was trying to look... diplomatic? The young Demoness raised her eyebrow as she flew a couple of paces back and away from the Namekian so that she wasn't right up against him.
"Well that was rude..." The young girl huffed as she crossed her arms as she looked at the green man floating in front of her. He asked her who she was, and Aya just hmph'ed in return, turning up her nose as she looked away from him with a rather snooty and entitled attitude. She didn't let up this attitude until he introduced himself first.
'What's a Guru..?' Aya thought to herself as she looked at this Xiao cautiously.
"Aya. My name is Princess Aya Devla, and I'm here because I need to save my family and my people." She stated as she uncrossed her arms finally to face Xiao, a rather sad expression crossing the demon's face.
"I heard that... you could find something called Dragonballs here on Namek, and I need to find them to bring them back." She said openly, as he did in fact ask her as to why she was currently on the planet. Was there really any harm in telling this guy? Perhaps he could help her find the Dragonballs is she kept subtly tugging on his heart strings.
The namekian would slowly rub the back of his neck, hearing how she responded it was sort of a bad one at that. "Yes, sorry that was indeed rude of me... I just needed you to stop" he would say slowly, trying to explain himself just a little bit even if it wasn't that great of an explanation. He could have just called out and waved her down... seemed he took the bad path for being truly diplomatic. He just sort of noticed her cautious look, he event came off as an imposing force it seemed... that was unnecessary for his advancements.
Though it seemed like the ice was broken a little bit when he introduced himself... least he was going somewhere with it. "Oh, well... I need to save my family and my people too! Perhaps we could help each other out with that if that is why you are here, Princess Aya Devla." the Namekian would say out, smirking gently as he would listen to her words. "Oh... I am sorry ma'am. The Dragonballs... they aren't here right now. The old Guru never made them and we don't know if he is around anymore TO make them. That is a job the Guru can do for this entire planet. If I can become Guru... I can try to make them for you. However, you can't take them off of this planet... though you can use them here if you so wish." he'd give a very slight nod. "I can't become the Guru yet... I need more training. However the more I train the stronger I'll be and the better chance that I can actually take up that position. I wasn't planning on cursing this planet with the dragonballs but if you want to use them to help save your people... I guess I could. But I would probably try to deactivate them right afterwards... if its okay with you." he'd say, giving off a gentle smirk.
Xiao Qing felt sort of bad... though. For him to dishonor his entire line... so easily. Sure the dragonballs were sacred and everything, but using them was so rare and they didn't need it much. Plus the corrupted chance of people wanting that power for evil was very apparent. Even if he was to make them for this little girl and her family and people... he needed to be very careful. "But yes, the Dragonballs can be found here, we just need to get them made once more." he'd explain for one final bit before falling silent.
Aya clenched the dragon radar around her neck tightly as she listened to Xiao speak. Apparently he needed to save his family and people? Was there something happening on Namek that they weren't aware of? It was true that they lacked proper resources to have a complete database on the current goings on of the planet but still... if there was something major happening there would be some record of it right?
The demoness' face grew sad when Xiao said that there were no dragonballs, sighing lightly as she let the radar go. however, as he continued to speak, she was quick to start formulating a plan. There were no Dragonballs because there was no Guru, but this guy has said he was aspiring to be this Guru... did that mean that he would be able to make the Dragonballs if he achieved this position? She would have to play this carefully.
Whenever Xiao mentioned that he could make them for her once he became Guru, Aya's sad expression disappeared. The young girl darted towards the namekian and took his hands n hers, beaming up at him.
"You would really help me!? Maybe I can help you with your training! This way you can get stronger and become this Guru! If it means saving my family I don't mind!" She said excitedly! If her tail wasn't tightly wrapped around her under her dress, it would be flailing around like a happy puppy in that moment.
"I wouldn't ever think of taking the dragonballs off the planet... and deactivating them wouldn't be a bad idea after either! I'm sure the same people who destroyed my planet could easily come here and try to use them..." She said, losing quite a bit of enthusiasm the more she spoke about 'what happened.
As soon as the girl had rushed forward to take the Namekian's hand into her and start to beam up at him with that look of hers... well, it was safe to say that Xiao was feeling a little amused. It felt good to make such a little looking girl happy like that... she didn't deserve such sadness in her life. It also felt good to watch her sad expression fade... perhaps it was good that he intercepted her when he did, even if it started off a little shaky at first. He'd just smirk down at her, thinking that all of this was a good plan.
Though once the girl started to speak up excitedly to him, talking about helping with his training, he'd chuckle a little bit. "Yes, I would really help you. It sounds like you needed it. How much your expression changed when I agreed to help... its something of innocence that you can never truly find outside of people who are in need of help and have found it, harboring no ill intent. However, you do not have to help me with my training if you wish not to. That doesn't mean I will stop you if you choose to though. Its just, I would feel bad making a little one such as yourself get into heavy training. It just doesn't feel right. Though I need to get quite a bit stronger to become the Guru, so prepare for some sort of a long haul. I know you don't mind but I thought I should warn you." he would go into detail a little bit about the subject. He really didn't want to make her do something that she thought wasn't necessary... it would be a waste of her time in saving her family!
Xiao's face would slowly stop being a gentle smile and chuckle and fall into that of shared grief and worry for the girl. "S-Same people who destroyed your planet huh... I'm so sorry..." he would say gently, feeling quite a bit bad. Even though it was in air, he would do the next best thing for kneeling, and instead floated downwards, so as to be at perfect eye level, while resting a hand on her head, giving her hair a gentle pat and ruffle, trying to put on a caring smile. "I'll make sure that you get them back... and that nobody will use those Dragonballs for evil from this planet... or with ill intent towards your own. The Dragonballs will only be remade any time that they are needed... but I hope that is never, needing them is bad in its own right." he would slowly float back up to be at normal distance to her and would just shake his head.
"I mostly need the strength and training though... to stop a great evil that has plagued the planet. A monster... one of unknown origin has invaded. It killed the guardian... and possibly the Guru, we haven't heard anything from him and there are no signs of anything to tell us he yet lives. Countless other Namekian warriors and clansmen have laid consumed in its rampaging path. I want to avenge everyone... and take the spot of Guru if absence of the old one proves to be true. It will be a hard path but... I will walk along it all the same. To avenge everybody" he would say, clenching his fists with a smirk on his face.
"Thank you mr. Xiao! I really do appreciate it... but don't underestimate me just because i'm little" Aya pouted at the Namekian. The pout however didn't last as it turned into a bright child-like smile.
"My parent's sent me off planet so I couldn't help them fight... but i'm stronger than I look you know! Maybe i'm not exactly a warrior... but I know I can help somehow!" She said with determination in her voice. She was acting the part of the little victim, and it was working to a T. The Namekian seemed to feel genuinely sorry for her, and wanted to help her in any way he could. It was perfect, all she needed to do now was make sure this guy grew powerful enough to make the dragonballs, but not strong enough to stop her from using them. She would probably need to learn Namekian while she was here as well in the event that he tried to use that as a security measure.
When Xiao began talking about a monster though, Aya would raise her eyebrow as she listened carefully...
"A monster? like... a very evil person, or something that could of crawled out of a demon's world?" She asked curiously as he spoke about it. However, as he continued to speak about how it seemed to literally eat other Namekians, Aya scrunched up her nose at the imagery. It sounded like a low class demon had been summoned here and it went on a little rampage. If that was the case, they wouldn't have to worry about that 'monster' for very long.
"Well, if we train you hard enough, i'm sure you'll make child's play of that monster!" She said enthusiatically as she glanced around them, almost as if checking to see if it was about to creep up on them.
Xiao's face would lighten up a bit as he heard her words, chuckling a bit as well. "I wont underestimate you... I promise. All beings hold great potential that they just need to unleash from within themselves. I believe that most can grasp it if they try... even if you were to be underestimated, you'd have the potential to make whoever thought that quake in fear! That is why... I must train to destroy that monster. I am outclassed in every way as I am now... but if I take hold of my potential. Well, I am sure there will be hope for me to beat him yet!" the Namekian would burst into a fit of laughter once more, happy to be holding such a conversation with someone... to not be put down so easily and to possibly have someone to train with.
Though the next words the girl said certainly caught the mans interest... the determination in her voice and the way she spoke certainly made him feel as if they were true. It wasn't like he knew the girl all that well... what if she truly was stronger than he thought in every way. Perhaps even strong enough to kill the monster if put up to the task. It was a long shot but.. well, the thought of it made the Namekian excited of who he'd be able to train with. "Well then, if you are not a warrior, but are much stronger than what you appear to be. I am sure you'll be able to pass wisdom and aid in battle at least, yes. Its not as if a peaceful person who doesn't wage war cannot help in the war effort. You just need to find the right... I guess position. Just fighting alongside me to help me train would be more than enough" Xiao would continue on, before looking up to the sky.
Her next words entreated him a little more... in which he would smirk. "Well... I wouldn't call them a person at all. They seemed almost feral in nature... they had a wide gap in their chest that was used to devour... and it could only speak in broken words and through telepathy. Though, I am not sure if it came from a Demon's World... perhaps a member of the Demon Clan could have summoned it but from stuff found around the planet... it landed here from a ship. If it came from another planet and was a demon, well... that would be the case sure! But, it was just a brutish alien in nature for what we knew and learned in combating it." then Xiao would cross his arms, being in deep thought.
"If I trained enough... I could unleash the power of a Namekian and fight with it on equal ground for a decent amount of time. I may be able to come out on top over time but... the creatures speed was unimaginable, at least for my own power which is quite lacking. It moved faster than I could see and places precision slashes that threatened my life. Actually I was... inactive from that fight until just recently due to it. Anyways, I doubt I'll be able to make Child's Pay out of it... however I will do my best to surpass it and dominate it with my intentions set." his arms would move to his sides once more. "But... your intentions and manner seem trustworthy. I will believe you and put my full trust in what you say about your family. I will train harder and if you do wish, alongside you to get strong enough to surpass that thing once and for all. For now... however, please state anything else you would like to say before we move on to stuff like that." he then gave a calm smirk, showing he was alright with waiting around a tad bit longer for this purpose.
'peaceful? Well, I guess I haven't done anything to the contrary yet... but anyways, this thing doesn't sound like any demon I know about... I'd have to get a good look at it before I report it to mother. Hmm...' Aya thought to herself as she listened to Xiao speak. She did look like she was in deep thought suddenly, though that could easily be associated to the fact that the girl was trying to picture the monster that the Namekian described. It definitely did sound strange! Then Xiao mentioned something about a demon clan and Aya tilted her head curiously.
"Demon clan? are they demons? Or are they like you? Namekians?" Aya asked curiously now. Her mother hadn't payed too much attention to the goings on of Namek besides the magical wishing orbs that she was after. If there were demon's that resided outside of their realm though, her mother would want to know about them immediately.
"Sorry I don't know much about Namek... I don't mean to bother you with so many questions. I'll just learn it all during my stay. As for anything I have to say... I don't know... I mean... I can't think of anything right now but i'm sure I'll have questions as things come up. Thank you again for your help Mr. Xiao. I really appreciate it." She said softly as she brought her hands in front of her and bowed politely, very much like a princess!
He looked towards the girl curiously... it seemed that she was thinking about something, but he felt wrong to go into it more as it was probably just about all the information that he was dumping on her which he felt bad about. However, the little girl would bring up and ask about something, at which point he would just get a sort of frown on his face. "I don't know much about the Demon Clan itself... but, I know they are just like me... Namekians. However, they give life to mutant namekians instead normal ones like me. They sprout like crazy and it can get out of hand... however, that thing was nothing like a normal Mutant Namekian, but it had the regenerating properties of one so its unclear." he would then scowl a bit... it was so crazy, where did it come from?
However he would then look to the girl once more as she said a bit more and bowed politely. He would give a very brief and sort of sloppy bow back, not really being accustomed to such things. "Its alright, you do not have to be sorry about that. It isn't a bother... it's a rare thing to get a visitor that I can meet... and its the first occurrence of one that doesn't want to hurt my people. Because of this, I feel it is entirely reasonable for you to ask so much, its a learning experience for me as well." he then just gave a sort of motion, which was in the direction if his village as he began to fly in its direction with a purpose. "Anyways, since you have nothing to really say or ask for now... I will take you to my village where most stuff can go on. Your welcome for the help, it is a help to me as well to have someone who can join in on the training, I appreciate it as well." but by then, he was moving towards his village... what would come of this meeting? Was it as innocent as it seemed? Xiao had no true way to know but he just had to go with his gut feeling.
This looks like a good place to end it off in my opinion. In the event that it would be continued, I do not mind. However if this is a good spot to end it, then I am well prepared for it to end.
