After the battle between himself and Jie Shan, Komatsu had found himself in one of the top grade healing chambers at the hospital. He had lost the fight, though he hadn’t gone down easy. The unconscious Saiyan kept playing the events of the battle in his mind, from the very begining, to Jie Shan ascending to Super Saiyan, and to his loss.
He had gone in with quite the plan in hopes of beating Jie Shan at base form, to summon up the power of Zenkai and surpass his hybrid strength. However… that had proved to be a waste of effort as Jie shan had easily tripled his base power level. He knew that he had a lot of power, but that was absolutely ridiculous. What was worse, was that Jie Shan deemed it necessary to hold back the entire time, that was until Komatsu himself had summoned his Super Saiyan transformation and easily dwarfed his power.
Why was it that everyone felt the need to hold back against him? Was he truly so weak that no one deemed it necessary? Did no one actually see him as a worthy opponent, or of someone who could yield great power, even at his young age? Damn it he was the son of Natto and Tomoroko! The two most powerful beings of their time! Those that saw him should fear what kind of power the young saiyan could achieve! Not treat him like some porcelain doll.
Within the healing chamber, Komatsu’s power level would constantly fluctuate, rising and falling again and again as his thoughts ran wild, sending the machine in a frenzy as it attempted to keep track of his health.
Thinking back on the match, Komatsu should have just ended it the first chance he got for Jie Shan’s arrogance… He should of prevented him from taking that healing capsule and claimed his victory there. However, that was were Komatsu’s pride had come into play… how could he claim that victory, and sit in the council for beating some guy who couldn’t even ascend… no he needed to prove how powerful he truly was, how honorable he could be… and so, he had goaded Jie Shan into finally reaching his golden transformation.
He should have expected the loss right then and there… he hadn’t been able to control himself very well when he first transformed. Hell, he had attacked the emissary from Vegeta and was on the verge of attacking Karota herself. What would make Jie any different than him?
Nope, again he was proved wrong. While the lust for battle boiled in jie Shan’s blood, he seemed to have no problem commanding the power that came to him. Almost as if he had done it time and time again. His skill easily over shadowed Komatsu’s own. So much so, that the newly transformed saiyan had taken him out with one strike…
That was when Komatsu’s power began to rage around him while within the healing tank. His anger was rising to new heights as he relived the experience.
He hadn’t only lost the match that day, he’d lost a piece of himself… What did he have now? Nothing. The Councillor seat was his one chance to live up to his parent’s legacy! To make his parent’s proud of the man he was becoming!
Even Nasu easily claimed his father’s position, ripping it away from his stupid grandfather with ease! Sure Komatsu was more similar to his mother than his father, but then why couldn’t he claim her old position then!? Why did he always have to be so god damned weak?!
Komatsu’s golden aura exploded around him, creating a shock wave that instantly shattered the healing tank that he was in. The water would spill onto the floor, mixing with the shattered glass and broken equipment. Komatsu would have fallen down on his knees, the oxygen mask still clinging to his face though it was no longer connected to any machine. The boy slammed his fist down onto the bottom of the ruined machine, shattering it further as the young Super Saiyan cried out in anger.
“DAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT! WHY!? IM JUST AS STRONG AS HIM! HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA”
He was furious, beyond furious! He couldn’t win, he could never win a single battle! He couldn’t make his parent’s proud, and now he’d probably disappointed Nasu! Tears of anger were now pouring down the young saiyan’s teal eyes, blending in with the water that still clung to his body from the medical machine.
“I can’t stay here… damn it I just want to help the alliance but… I don’t even know who I am anymore… everything I’ve ever stood for, everything I wanted to be is always being taken away from me. Shit!”
He growled as he started to push himself up to his feet, fumbling as his bones were far from healed. He would stumble forward and fall off the edge of the remains of the machine, shards of the broken glass now digging into his arm, adding blood to the mix of debris in the room.
Kyuri had been the one on watch for Komatsu. She had deemed it necessary to have the boy guarded in the event that he woke up, still stuck in his battle mode. If that had happened, the hospital as a whole would be in danger, and grandson or no, she couldn’t allow him to hurt a single member of the alliance. And so, as she heard the explosions from Komatsu’s room, along with the yelling she sped towards it as fast as she could. She could see golden, flickering light from the window to his room, along with liquid seeping out from under it. She would curse lightly as she swung the door open in time to see Komatsu standing up, as a Super saiyan.
“Komatsu what are you-”
She began to ask as Komatsu quickly fell back down onto the ground. She would quickly run over to his side, just as another fit of anger struck the young Super Saiyan. Another powerful wave of energy escaped his body, slamming into Kyuri and sending her flying back into the wall with a sickening crack. The difference in their powers was huge! It was probably do to the metal in her body that Kyuri hadn’t been completely crushed.
“Look I know you’re upset Komatsu, but you need to calm down! Damn brat!”
Kyuri growled now as she tried to pry herself free from the wall, but found that she had been severely damaged.
“Switch over to full mechanical override”
She muttered to herself. Her body seemed to seize for just a moment before a red orb of energy surrounded her. This time, Kyuri pushed herself away from the wall successfully, debris falling to the ground behind her as she raised her hand, aiming it at the Super Saiyan that was once more trying to get up.
“You’re really growing to become a huge pain in the ass Komatsu! It’s time to stop feeling entitled to the whole god damned world. Grow up!”
For Kyuri to snap like that to her youngest grandson had meant that he had royally screwed something up. Right now however, Komatsu wasn’t listening. He didn’t care what she had to say, she couldn’t understand him, he felt like no one could.
Whenever Komatsu ignored her, Kyuri just narrowed her eyes on the child as her palm literally opened up to reveal a small metal cylinder that fired from her hand. The cylinder landed on Komatsu’s neck, four tiny claws sprouting from it as it dug into Komatsu’s skin, a needle shooting out from the cylinder as it began to inject Koma with a whole lot of sedatives.
It took a moment for it to take effect, but Komatsu began to wobble once more as the sedatives ran through his body. Finally, he would fall backwards, unconscious once more.
With a sigh, Kyuri walked over to Komatsu, pulling the metal cylinder from his neck as she watched his revert back to base form.
“I don’t know what to do with you anymore kid…”
She would sigh softly as she pushed his hair out of his face, picking him up off of the ground once more, and taking him out of the room. They would need to find him a new healing chamber...
