It was simple enough to evade the Saiyan Alliance's sensors on Planet Natto using the Stealth Pod that her employer had given her. The Heran smirked out at the planet as its surface got closer and closer to her. She did so love playing with Saiyans, they made for some of the most entertaining fights she'd ever had. Of course, she wasn't here to pick a fight with the Saiyans.
No, instead she was here to rendezvous with one Saiyan in particular, and then proceed to keep an eye on the planet, and its leadership. Standard watch dog mission, which since she was an alien meant she could go places that the Saiyan girl couldn't. Get the trust of those beneath the gaze of the Saiyans who wouldn't talk to any Saiyan.
As the Stealth Pod landed, Murdra stepped out and let the wind blow through her hair for a moment, revealing the archaic M stamped on her forehead. She took in a deep breath of that new planet air, which was always a welcome relief from all the recycled air of an interstellar pod. There was no replacing the genuine article.
The Heran female rearranged her frontal locks to cover up the M mark on her head, then tapped a few keys on a device hidden under her waist sash. The Pod sealed up and went into camouflage mode, disguising itself as part of the terrain. With that done, she began to set off towards the nearest settlement. "Wonder if they've got anything decent to drink on this rock." mused Murdra.
(To Clarify. Murdra is here on Natto. NOT Abzerute.)

Now that Kinoko was off duty, she found herself extremely relieved to be able to get out of the saiyan armor the Overseer had provided her with. It was comfortable... if you were used to wearing that sort of thing, which the saiyaness was not! She was extremely happy to strip out of her clothing the instant she got home, walking around her tiny apartment completely naked as she prepared her clothing for that evening, and placing them just outside her shower.
She would make quick work of cleaning off the build up of sweat after that day's training. She would get out and take her time getting dressed... in fact, she was still tying on her top after she had left the apartment! Anyone watching, would have probably gotten a very brief show! Not that her outfit left very much to the imagination, but that was the plan wasn't it?
Kinoko seemed to have a spring in her step that evening! She had found a bar she quite enjoyed! The owner had made necessary adjustments to allow her space to dance, and include games such as pool so that she could watch, and possibly hang onto the arm of whichever male (or female) would attempt to bed her that night. Not that she ever allowed them too, she would always get them far too drunk to even make it back home, taking advantage of their insobriety to knock them out and sneak away into the night.
She would slide into the bar, earning a loud cheer from several patrons who greeted her by name. She couldn't help but chuckle, her tail swinging excitedly from the left, to the right as she immediately B-lined it for a rather handsome saiyan male~ He seemed to be much older than her, but easily the most handsome of the bunch~
Mercenary races always knew where the nearest bar was. It was like some sort of genetic homing signal that Murdra had never really questioned nor really wanted to if she were honest. Whilst she was here to try and find her contact, she figured her boss wouldn't mind her grabbing just the one drink... or several if this place was any good after her long trip getting here. That pod he gave her may have been pretty decent, but damn was it boring with nothing to do.
She made her way inside, ignoring the sneering looks of all the Saiyans she walked by. There was always something about Saiyans and feeling superior... if she didn't have her metaphorical leash on her, she'd be more than willing to kick each and every one of their butts into the dirt, and make them lick her boots for forgiveness.
But sadly, she wasn't here to start a fight and simply made her way to the counter taking a stool for herself. "What'chu want her green-skin?" the bartender asked, Murdra merely scoffing at the pretty weak insult. "Whatever you've got that's any good." she said to him, glancing over towards one of the Saiyan girls who seemed to be trying to make herself familiar with a Saiyan old enough to be her father, or probably grand-father. It was a little hard to tell with Saiyans given how their species physically aged. Something about the girl did look familiar though, from what she could see from the back that was anyway.
Murdra shrugged before looking at the glass of alcohol as the barkeep put it down in front of her. "That's ten." he said, the Heran raising an eyebrow and sneering. "Ten? Are you kidding me? For that piddly puddle of piss?" she asked, peering at the glass. "There's barely a measure in there to be worth ten." she countermanded, the barkeep scowling at her. "You wanted the good stuff you Heran bitch. Not my fault if you ain't barked at enough people to scrape up ten zeni." Murdra growled, her hair flaring slightly as she almost went into her Battle Spirit form before she calmed herself down and smiled far too sweetly at the Saiyan behind the bar.
"Tell you what... I'll pay the ten and toss this drink down in one go, if you can give me a little bit of information. I'm looking for an old friend of mine who I heard came by Natto recently." she said, sliding over the zeni to the barkeep. "We ain't seen no Heran's here 'sides you." he replied, pocketing the money. "No, not a Heran. I'm looking for a Saiyan friend of mine. Female, likes to wear pretty much nothing, sort of like that girl entertaining gramps over there." she said, hiking a thumb towards the couple as she slid over a picture she pulled out from her shirt.
The barkeep looked at the picture then began to snicker. "Oh yeah, I seen her. Fact of the matter-" he said before Murdra put two and two together. "Thanks." she said, picking up the glass in a mock toast before downing the entire thing in one single shot. She put the glass back down on the table, collected her picture from the man, and then turned on her stool, waiting for Kinoko to finish having her fun. Murdra wasn't going to interrupt the girl, in fact she wanted to see what else would happen. Although she was a little disappointed that her contact was a Saiyan whore... well, maybe only cus she didn't have the girl on her own lap right now. The Heran licked her lips at the thought and chuckled. This job held all sorts of fun possibilities in store~
"Here you go love~" Kinoko would coo as she would hand her evening companion his mug of ale. Her tail would wave behind her cutely as she clung to his arm, pressing herself up against him seductively, her chest pushed right up against him, ensuring a constant red tint on the man's face. He would cheer with his buddies before downing the entire glass in one chug. He would toss it behind him with a hearty laugh as he would lean over to try and plant a forceful kiss on Kinoko's lips.
The girl however, would bring one hand up to those puckered lips, stopping him only inches away from her face.
"Now now, you wouldn't want to embarrass me in front of all these people, would you?" She would ask him as a light pout would cross her features. While the conversation continued, and the man continued to try and push himself on her, Kinoko's hand was masterfully fidgeting into his pocket, retrieving what cash she could grab, before subtly stuffing it up her metal wrist guards.
"Well... if you want me that badly love... let's take this outside~" She would say as her hand would move to his pocket, pressing up against him leg and sliding up his jumpsuit.
"Now THAT'S what I"m talking about girl!" The man would cheer, gleefully standing up just as Kinoko did. Kinoko would bring her tail up to teasingly brush against his lips as she intertwined her fingers in his grip before leading the man outside. No one would protest or pay the girl any mind. This seemed to be a common occurrence for her, and many of the men here were dying for their chance to be with her. Little did any of them know, none of them had the pleasure of mating with her at all.
She would lead the older saiyan man out a side door, to the ally between the bar and the next building over. The man would push Kinoko until her back was against the wall of the opposite building, but as soon as his lips touched her own, the man would freeze up. His face grew pale, and within moments, he was lying against her completely unconscious.
"Hehe... sorry love~ Nothing personal" She would muse before pushing him off of her and letting him hit the ground with a thunk.
"Well... That was fast... he must have been a higher rank to of have been carrying around this kind of cash." She would state as she stayed nearby the man's body for now. To make things believable she still had a bit of a job to do before disappearing into the night.
There was a slow clap as Murdra stepped out through the door, looking on at the scene. "Well played girl. Gotta admit, you almost had me fooled too with that whole bimbo whore act. You've got it down to a science with these twats don'tcha? Course their brains tend to stop working the minute they get perky." smirked the Heran as she closed the door behind her and leaned against the wall opposite from Kinoko.
She held up a hand just in case the busty female got skittish and started shooting, before revealing the M emblazoned on her forehead. "Relax, I work for someone who you're already familiar with." the mercenary said, tapping her head for emphasis. She covered the Mark back up with her hair.
"He figured two sets of eyes and ears were better than one. Personally I think you got things here handled, but hey, a job's a job. So long as I get paid, I ain't complaining." Murdra shrugged as she looked the Saiyan girl over. "And to be honest, you are by far the best looking person I have ever had the pleasure of working with." the Heran warrior said with a smirk.
She took a step towards Kinoko, partially eyeing the unconscious Saiyan male at her feet. "So, aside from the obvious fact that the males here are the same as males anywhere else in the galaxy, anything I should know about before I get started?" inquired Murdra.
Her heart would suddenly pound loudly in her chest as Kinoko spun around at the sound of the clapping. She would grit her teeth tightly though refrain from charging an energy attack just yet. She could still play this off if she needed too. However, as the alien girl spoke, she would reach up to reveal some strange tattoo on her forehead, claiming that she worked for someone she was familiar with... That caused Kinoko to raise an eyebrow.
"I don't know what you're talking about... and what's with the stupid looking tattoo anyways? Some sort of gang sign?" She would ask of the Heran girl coldly. How was she even here? There weren't many aliens about on Vegeta unless they were someone's mate or had some pull with the higher ups. 'Who is this he person she keeps talking about? Master hasn't told me anything in quite some time, as I've asked of her... but she would have still warned me if she was sending someone else... especially an alien.' Kinoko would think to herself, trying to rationalize the situation in her mind, and to see just how much of a threat to her position here this girl actually was.
"An alien like you won't do much good here. The saiyans really aren't fond of em, in fact every time I see em their being carted off to either be executed or deported if they're useful enough. How did you even land on the planet? I doubt they would of just let you stroll freely." She would say as she was now quite on edge in regards to this girl. She even completely ignored her attempt to flirt with her, and redused to give her any sort of 'tips' until she knew 100% who and what she was dealing with.
After the trouble Chris had been having ever since he had landed at first just trying to get his ship registered...Kais that was a nightmare. He was glad to finally be able to actually explore the planet and its cities. Swirling in the air a she flew with what he felt as a great feeling of truth in honesty he smiled upon the feeling of the air flowing past his body. It was such a relaxing feeling. In truth he was excited about this. He hadn't felt such excitement since his first time flying on earth. It was just wonderful living through that memory once more.
Chris was enjoying the skyline as he felt for the power levels of those in the region. He had been wanting to see how strong the others could be and he found this almost as the perfect example to see just how strong his race was when they didn't grow up on earth. Everything felt peaceful as well until he felt someone's power dropping rather fast before stopping at a level he had felt before from himself when he had been knocked out before. In honesty it was a bit worrying and while he should just leave it to authorities of this planet he still wanted to make sure everything was alright.
Chris began to fly toward the way of an alleyway. He didn't want to be caught inside that kind of an area of there was trouble. He decided to stick to flying above as he began soaring slowly above it as to not deter to much attention to himself. However there was nothing that could prepare him for what he would see. He saw an unconscious man next to Kinoko. Why was he unconscious? Wasn't she nice when he had met her? What had happened here exactly?
As he saw another figure approach he could only hear a few words from what he could from up ther. Something about working for someone they were both familiar with. As he watched her pulls her hair to reveal a tattoo he felt as if he had been just frozen in time at that very moment. Something about it just didn't feel right in his gut. He didn't know what it was but yet he still couldn't shake a bad feeling in his gut whether from just the tattoo or the way the air practically felt about now. At that moment while distracted in thought he accidentally began to flight right towards the wall and making a rather large audible sound against it. He wasn't hurt but he knew that he would have just been revealed.
Murdra smirked at the girl's commentary. "My boss works for your boss." she said, and would have probably said more if it wasn't for a noise above the two girls. The Heran's gaze immediately turned to the sky, peering about till she spotted the culprit, a single lone Saiyan boy. "Didn't your mother ever teach you its naughty to spy on girls?" she called up to the boy, wondering how long the brat had been hiding up there for and more importantly, who they worked for.
The fact that he'd been trying to get away suggested that he wasn't one of the local Natto Saiyans, they usually have a bit more balls. And there's no way a Vegeta Saiyan would try to run away either, which left only one planet. Earth. If this was an Earth based Saiyan, what were they doing here on Natto? No doubt probably the same reason as Kinoko and herself were here, to keep a personal eye on things... which struck her as odd, given the situation between the Overseer of Natto and the Earth's Kami... was Kami planning something that they didn't want the Overseer to know about?
Or was this kid just really an unfortunate tourist who's gotten lost in the big mean streets of the city she wondered for a brief moment. Normally whenever she'd been discovered by someone as dubious as this, she'd just straight up catch them, and promptly interrogate them through torture before killing them and dumping their corpse somewhere. However, she could just make out that this kid was stronger than she was, even with the Mark on her forehead empowering her. Kinoko however could probably take them on... but first they had to get the kid. She curled her finger, gesturing for the boy to come closer. "Promise I won't bite kid. My species has a rule about not hitting kids."
Well that wasn't good at all... that meant that this alien girl worked for either Abzerute or Jarvis... and judging by the mark and the way she spoke about her 'boss', it was Abzerute. She really wished she knew how to use telepathy right about now... it would do her good to tell this woman to shut up and leave her alone... She wanted zero contact with anyone that could be connected to Nakiya... for the safety of her mission of course. She was still being watched...
And apparently, she was quite literally being watched as the woman picked up on someone above them snooping in on their conversation. She would look up towards where the woman was talking just as she too heard the loud THUNK. The person watching them was doing a poor job being stealthy.
That was when she saw Chris, and Kinoko couldn't help but raise an eyebrow.
"Chris? Is that you? What are you doing here? I'm glad everything got settled, but this is no place for a kid your age." She would say to the young saiyan seriously, almost as if she was scolding him for being out too late.
This wasn't good, he had been spotted. However in honesty he could only blame himself. If he hadn't lost himself in thought he wouldn't have been spotted as easily. He had no choice but to just try and play this situation out for now, it shouldn't be too hard as long as he kept himself viable for exits. That meant that as long as he stuck to the sky he should be fine atleast. It would give him a head start of he needed to run. As he always told himself, it was always good to have a back up plan. He frankly didn't want to have to fight anyone.
That was when the alien asked him if his mother had taught him better, that really messed with his emotions for a moment. "I wouldn't know, my adopted mother was murdered and I don't even know who my real parents are or even if their alive." Chris would say in clear response to her. He wasn't born an idiot and especially the way she said specifically that her race didn't harm kids. "Thanks for the offer but I think I'm a lot more comfortable up here in honesty." Chris would quickly say as he continued his hover.
He really wasn't liking the alien. There was something about her tone that labeled her as a giant do not trust sign. He would quite litterally have to be crazy to just listen to her like that. As he continued his hover though he couldn't help but wonder what she meant about Kinoto's boss being the boss of the boss for the alien girl. He would normally think immeadiately of Koma's brother Nasu but than this would have been held in a higher security room rather than here. That was why this whole thing didn't feel right. He just had to play dumb.
"Well I came here because I felt someone's power level drop, to an unconscious level. I was worried that something had happened. I naturally came here to check it out when I spotted you two talking." Chris would quickly say his excuse as he only began to continue. "I had been flying around the city exploring when I had felt it." Chris would quickly explain as he watched her. Was it wierd that she was really reminding him of Leena right now? No? Just him. Well Atleast he gave a pretty good alibi though that didn't involve him having to fight anyone.
He still didn't know what to think of this whole situation though. Something didn't feel right and yet he really couldn't say anything and frankly he had no idea who he could truly trust right now. He didn't know if Kinoko was really truthful to him this entire time. That was what struck his nerves as he thought this person he could trust was now someone he didn't know for sure. He didn't know what to expect though. This whole trip so far hadn't been going right and he shouldn't have expected it to stay that way. Talk about worst vacation ever.
Murdra listened to the kid, her mind quickly going over the situation and which backstory to utilise when it clicked for her. "Well, its good to see that there are at least some Saiyans here that are concerned for their cities safety besides the Overseer himself." she said, relaxing against the wall. "My name's Murdra, I work for a private security force that's undergoing a trial run here on Natto to see if its up to the Overseer's standards before we get hired on full-time." the Heran explained to Chris whilst also providing Kinoko some room to manoeuvre her own story around.
"The Overseer wanted to make sure that there were no gaps in his planets security, which is where aliens like myself come in. On a planet full of Saiyans, a single alien's bound to stand out." she smoothly explained. "This sorry excuse of flesh," she said, pointing at the large Saiyan male unconscious on the ground, "was trying to rob Kinoko here and flee the scene. Obviously it didn't go well for him." smirked Murdra with a chuckle. "Poor bastard didn't stand a chance. Girl's the best takedown fighter I've seen, sorta why my boss tried to recruit her once. Turned him down faster than a high school date to the prom as I recall." said Murdra.
Kinoko hadn't really thought of the fast that the men's power level would drop when he fell unconscious... it had never alerted anyone before, probably because there were so many drunks passing out at this late hour anyways. She was quickly forming her own story to tell Chris, when Murdra stepped in with her own story, giving Kinoko either a perfect alibi, or a perfect way to call her out as a liar to save her own skin.
"He's drunk... Chris. We were in the bar when he tried to... take advantage of me, not just rob me... so I let him take me outside, and knocked him out here so that he didn't cause any more trouble. I'm sorry if I worried you at all, Murdra showed up to protect me, but I can take care of myself." She would say, the look on her face was a kind one as she looked at Chris, then over to Murdra as she stated that she could take care of herself. She didn't need the girls help on this planet, and if Nasu found out about her little lie... damn it, it was going to definitely bite her in the ass... she'd have to deal with Murdra sooner rather than later...
"So... Sorry Murdra but I'm going to have to turn down the invitation again. I'm not interested in being part of this security force. I'm going to be too busy fighting in the arena anyways~" She would push the envelop even more with Murdra, hopefully getting her point across...
There was still that feeling in his git. Something he learned never to not trust but still. He couldn't help but listen to the alien speak first. It sounded similar to another group on Earth, the one he was secretly a part of. Now he was just glad though that the only ones who knew about him being a part of the group were his sister and his closest friends. It gave him a playing field to not be noticed as easily. He looked right at the alien still untrusting of her. This scene here was just playing out too perfectly.
He still held up his game though. "Wow a private group meant to help defend citizens of their world. It sounds similar to another group I saw on the new back on earth. The Z Fighters or Earth Special Forces? Something like that at least." Chris said as he shook his head acting as if he knew very little of the actual group. The way he was doing it woul make it quite believable as well. He was waiting still for some kind of slip up of some kind. Even if her story made sense there was something just not right about it.
Kinoko was a member of the military. If that was true why didn't she just arrest the guy instead of knocking him unconscious? There was something that just didn't feel right. There were just way too many ifs at the moment that he couldn't tell what exactly was true. He couldn't figure out what exactly was the truth, he needed someone to help if he even wanted a chance to find out the truth..maybe he could ask Nasu...it wouldn't be too hard if his sister was buddy buddy with him. Hopefully he would be able to tell if this was true.
"It's a shame that someone had to try that with you but why didn't you just arrest him? You far surpassed the man. You didn't have to knock him out. That might have been a little extreme, but atleast you didn't kill him." Chris would say with a slight laugh. In truth he really was glad she hadn't killed the man at least. "Who knows maybe I can ask my sister about this group of yours. It does sound interesting if your trying to bring back order to the streets. I'm sure she would have an idea about it if Nasu does." He would continue saying with a bit of a smile as he hovered there.
"Ever tried arresting a groping drunk Saiyan? Nah. Much easier to just knock the bastard out and let him sleep in a puddle of his own drool." said the Heran in explanation to the boy's question. "It'll do a number on his ego as well, cus what big strong male would freely admit to getting his butt kicked in one single blow by a little girl? Saiyans, you gotta take a different approach." Murdra said. When the kid suggested talking to his sister about her group, she waved it off. "Go ahead, although they'll deny any knowledge of us." she said.
"Private security force is... a euphemism. A polite term for hired mercenaries that you keep off the books. We do our job, we get paid, and then you never hear from us again unless you got a job for us." explained Murdra with a bit of a chuckle. "We're just poking at the current system they've got set up, so that the Overseer knows where to plug up the gaps. When he thinks they've got them all plugged, we poke at it again. And so on until he's satisfied." the Heran explained once more before looking at Kinoko.
"Well, have fun in the arena Kinoko. Although if your opponents are gonna be bastards like this guy, I doubt you'll get that much fun out of it." Murdra snickered before she looked over to Chris. "As for you kid, see you around. Oh, and word of advice for you if you ever make any friends on this rock besides Kinoko here... don't let them get you so drunk you'll agree to anything, otherwise you'd wind up with their idea of a funny reminder of the evening." she said, moving her hair slightly to reveal the M on her forehead. "M for Murdra. Hilarious." deadpanned the Heran before she started to fly off into the air.
Attempting to exit thread, will take PL for this please :3
"Listen, Chris. I'm not going to justify my actions, you're new here on planet Natto, I can only imagine things work differently on Earth. But if someone attacks me, I'll defend myself, no matter what. He was weaker than me, and drunker than me, so I knocked him out. I could easily have killed him if I wanted too, but this seemed the better option." Kinoko would clarify, just as Murdra would say something... somewhere along those lines. She called her a little girl and Kinoko couldn't help but huff at that and cross her arms, looking away from her as she went on to explain this security force of hers, claiming that the Overseer, or even Leena, would deny their existence. Clever... very clever.
Whenever Murdra finally wished her luck in the arena, Kinoko would nod as she looked back to the alien girl.
"As long as none of the Super Saiyans jump in there, I think I'll be fine. The others might be weak but it's a pretty paycheck when you win." She would say as a small smile crept back up onto her lips as she thought about the upcoming matches. It was bound to be fun, and it would hopefully catch the Overseer's eye... a rookie from the fallen Empire, punching and kicking her way to the top~ She would then look back up to Chris as Murdra excused herself and flew off. At this point, Kinoko would rise off of the ground herself, flying up into the air and landing on the top of the bar she had just exited, sitting down on it's ledge as she motioned for Chris to have a seat with her.
"You don't sound convinced about all this kid? Things here are really different hunh?"
