"Hey! Okay! Its time to continue. I've gotten my rest and I'm all recovered and ready to go, so I oughta let King Kai know I'm good to go! Not just that, but since I ain't here by myself anymore, I have a little more confidence in my step. Being as Christopher is here and all. Its upsetting to know he died, too, but..ah, we chose this life of battle and risk, right? Got what we deserved for challenging such a titan..hehe!" Son thought to himself. Sitting against a large tree, his back pressed against the trunk with his arms folded over one another and his legs crossed as well. Eyes shut and relaxed. His bare arms flexed as he had been soaking up the modified gravity present on the small planet. His feet bare as well, and toes wiggling in freedom. Opening his eyes, the young man had popped up onto his feet. The bottoms of his feet feeling the somewhat cold grass beneath them. The morning dew alerting him and causing him to wake up somewhat. Moving from where had once been resting, and to King Kai's home. Entering and changing his clothes temporarily. Getting out his normal dogi in exchange for his regular old training trunks. They were comfortable and he was finally feeling up to training hard. Like the good old days. He was prepped. Standing outside once again, Son stood tall. His right hand brought over his belly and carefully grazing over his scarred stomach. The large X form once before remaining and unchanging itself. A mark of being a man and hunter. He loved being form where he was and not from a city. He had knowledge that many city folk wouldn't even dream of knowing without the use of television or experiencing it for themselves. Quickly bringing his hand by his side, the young man took a deep breath.
Exhaling and bringing himself into a certain state of mindfulness. His hands joined by his lower abdomen and his feet apart about shoulder width. Closing his eyes for a mere moment and setting his heart beat to a calm pace and noticing everything going on within himself. How he was feeling. How his muscle felt. If it was sore, or if it was neutral. Had he an ache in any of his limbs or was he okay. Things like this. Specific things, as well. Such as whether or not he was really 'okay' with being dead. Had he missed the living world. Or if there was anything else for him to truly learn while up, in the Upper Worlds. Keeping his eyes shut, his arms had risen. Flowing like the calm waters of a river bank into the fighting stance of a Son clansmen. His left arm held up with his fist balled, fingers curled into palm and his right arm held by his rib cage. Fist balled but his knuckles aiming behind him. A singular step taken forward and his arms moving once more. This time out, together. His right arm extended more so than his left. Another step had been taken and his left heel had been lifted. His right leg brought up and bent at the knee. His arms whipping forward, cleanly breezing past one another as he took the stance. A final step had been taken of him and his foot was brought down. Sweat beading his brow and dribbling down his chin. He had taken the form of Kaioken up, remaining in it's absolute base form. So, Kaioken times two, essentially. His eyes remaining closed, as they had felt heavy from the combination of heat, slight strain and modified gravity acting on him all at once. It was bad, but he had to remember that he lived for this. This, feeling. The feeling of hurt and pain was practically apart of him as a man, as a person, as a human and as a Saiyan. All of these characteristics, were him. Halting and remaining in his stance, Son huffed slightly.
"Im okay. Im ready to pursue my goals, when I go back home."
