[Heavy Weights On. Current PL: 3,437]
Nasu had been working with some improvements to one of his training battle suits he brought to Earth when he came, about a year ago. Due to his natural disgust for intense training by himself, he left it to dust for a while and it did badly to the materials used for making it much heavier than a normal battle suit. With that in mind, and due to him scavenging materials from Satan City, the night he went there and met a couple weird figures. Anyway, now he had enough to get his set done. And the motivation he had for that? He had encountered, this past few days, tons of strong people. Although he was, still, stronger than them, they seemed quite determined to fight against the saiyans with all their might, and they were definitely the training type.
On top of that, he had also met Komatsu, his younger brother long lost. Apparently he had been raised by the Empire’s saiyans and made one of their own, and he was strong! Almost on par with Nasu’s strength, even though he was seven years younger than him. ”I can’t let my little brother surpass me… Even though I’m not a training freak like my father was, I know I have to get serious and work hard, otherwise I won’t be able to accomplish anything and I will be forever trapped in the shadow of my parents! My revenge will also be only a distant dream because, let’s face it…” he gulped for a while, with a drop of sweat running down his left temple. ”That bastard Emer managed to kill my father when he was the Legendary Super Saiyan Three… I can’t even tap into that damn golden power… I need to train, and I need to train a lot… And this starts today!” with those thoughts on his mind, he quickly took off his normal white battle suit and cast it aside, throwing it at a corner of the cave he used as home. Then, he immediately put on the heavy weighted battle suit and immediately felt overwhelmed by it, almost falling to his knees.
– Goddammit! – he swore as he knee almost touched the ground. But he was a proud saiyan warrior, and no weighted battle suit would throw him to his knees, and so he resisted. Sweat began running wild on his forehead with the sheer effort of standing up. It was just too much, and he wondered how his parents managed to endure such weights and still live their normal lives, as he heard that Natto wore this damn weighted armor for months before they became ultimately useless. ”Just how much of a monster were you, dad?!” he couldn’t help but ask himself. And his mother didn’t fall behind, as she was able to become amazingly strong almost at his father’s pace, and that was absolutely incredible. Those thoughts made him sigh deeply and left him slightly irritated.
Step by step and slowly, he walked towards the exit of the cave. The sun had just risen about an hour ago, so it wasn’t incredibly hot yet. After a few seconds, he managed to reach the exit and stared at that annoying blue ski painted yellow on the eastern border. ”Still miss Planet Natto’s crimson skies… This blue is annoying… Even though I like the damn color, no sky should be painted that way! Especially on a backwater planet such as this one.” he muttered to himself, reassuring his dislike for the Blue Marble, but, still, he was there, looking for the strength their parents gathered on this planet, and now, after a whole year, he was starting to understand the mythical aura of Earth, that, somehow, always manages to gather strong fighters from all over the universe. – Okay, let’s fly to a more appropriate training ground! – he said to himself as he used all his strength to leap into the air. However, what he didn’t account for was the effect of the weights on his ability to fly.
Nasu wasn’t really prepared to all that cargo and he couldn’t sustain a flight. ”Dammit!!! It’s too heavy!!! I’m gonna fall!!!” he exclaimed to himself as he began to fall from the high cliff. He waved his arms and legs desperately, trying to slow his fall, but to no use. After about a second he crashed into the ground, opening a huge crater on the dirt. – ARGH!! – he moaned upon impact as he felt all his body in pain. The weight almost crashed his back at the fall, and he struggled like hell to get back up, having to humiliate himself by getting up with all his four limbs, like some wretched lowly dog. ”Fuck this! I won’t be humiliated anymore by this fucking armor!” he roared to himself. With the fuel of his rage, Nasu flared his ghostly-white ki aura around his body, harvesting all strength he had available inside his body, that was heavily hindered by the weighted battle suit.
Powered up to his very limit, Nasu managed to get back on his feet and not only that. He concentrated his ki energy on his base, as if he was a rocket ready to be launched and, in a blink of an eye he took the skies, flying with the impulse of his powerful aura, leaving behind him a trail of white ki energy that would soon disappear. Nasu flew for about a minute, resisting the strains on his body. He gritted his teeth and frowned his eyebrows: he was angry, but he wasn’t going to give up just yet! ”I will only stop when I pass out! I won’t slack off anymore! I will show them who will inherit the legacy of Natto and Tomoroko!” his determination flared to its peak and even when his body began to want to yield to the weights, he insisted and kept on flying all over Paprika Wasteland. His flight lasted for minutes.
The young saiyan warrior flew for as long as he could until his body, even fired with his determination could no longer sustain it, and he slowly fell back to the ground, panting heavily as he grasped for air, trying his best to recover his stamina reserves. ”I still have a lot to do! Don’t fail on me, body!” he spoke to himself, in order to keep on moving forward. The dirt beneath him was painted in a darker shade by the drops of sweat that fell from his face, and his pitch black hair was all wet by now. ”And all I did up until now was to fly… Heh… Damn! This is annoying!” he said to himself as he slowly got back on his feet and stared at the environment around him: there was nothing there, but the stone cliffs and the dirt. A little grass here and there, but other than that, he was lonely under that blu sky with his weighted battle suit to be conquered.
– You, annoying blue sky, shall be the witness of my ability to overcome my obstacles! I will become stronger!! And you won’t mock me anymore! – he roared to the skies and, suddenly, he cracked a smile on his face. Butterflies got crazy on his stomach and he could also feel the shivers of excitement running down his spine, as he began to walk. Soon the walk became a lope, that later became a sprint. The young saiyan warrior was doing his best to maintain a sprint, as he kept on running around the wasteland like there was no tomorrow. All of his muscular fibers on his body were burning like crazy due to his effort and it almost felt like they were reaching the point of tearing apart. The pain was intense, and he grimaced heavily multiple times, but he kept on sprinting. When his body was about to give up, he harvested his ki energy to flare his ghostly-white ki aura and restore part of his strength, stamina, but mostly his determination to keep on pushing forward, way beyond his natural limitations.
He didn’t know how long he spent sprinting across the wasteland, but it was around twenty minutes before his legs started shaking like crazy and could barely stand anymore. He plummeted to the ground, rolling adrift for a couple feet. His body was aching now more than ever, and he remembered about the time he fought against those yellow annoying aliens on that faraway planet he went to conquer on his whim. When they first transformed into the red monster versions of themselves, they easily ganged up on Nasu and the young saiyan warrior almost lost his life. He wasn’t ready for that and was severely beaten by their fists, swords and axes. The injuries lasted for days, as he had no other mean of recovering, other than time, and luckily none of the injuries were deadly, but still, they hurt like a bitch and annoyed him for more than a week. Right now he was feeling a similar pain, but that only made his smile widen, as he knew that, with his saiyan blood and genetics, when he recovered, he would be far stronger than the lower races could ever dream of becoming.
Nasu chuckled a little bit and to imagine the namekian and that girl suffering by his hand gave him enough will power to put both his hands on the ground, stretch his body and put his feet on the dirt too: he was ready to do some push-ups and he started it in a fast pace. The young saiyan started with both his hands, and after about one thousand push-ups, he started making them with only one hand. With his left hand was far more difficult, but he still managed to complete the following two series of push-ups. Now his arms were at the point of breaking down, and so was his legs. ”But I still have my abs! Freaking weights! See my determination?! No one can best a saiyan!! And those weaklings will suffer for defying me! Hahaha!” Nasu thought to himself and shortly after that, he rolled his body to change his position and bent his knees. He put his hand near his head and quickly started doing abdominal crunches, one after the other. Cramps attacked his abs as he reached the mark of two thousand, but he ignored the pain that only grew stronger. With an uncanny effort, he managed to reach the impressive mark of three thousand crunches with his weighted battle suit.
However, when he was finished, he was completely broken and almost unable to move. He was panting even more and the ground around him was wet with his sweat. – Arf… Arf… G-goddammit… I’m done for today… I… I j-just… Need some r-rest! – he slowly spoke. The sun right now was high in the sky and was burning like crazy, and he had to find at least some shelter where he could rest, as he would probably blank out for a whole day. The young saiyan could only manage to crawl and so he did for about a mile, until he reached a peculiar shaped rock formation that resembled a huge mushroom. It wasn’t pretty and its shape annoyed the shit out of him, but if provided enough shade so that he wouldn’t get sunburns for sleeping on the wasteland.
As soon as he reached the shade, he stopped his struggle to move and just laid there. He was still heavily breathing, and his heartbeat was fast as hell. It took him a while to be able to fully relax, and every small movement on his body made him remember about the pain of the injured muscular fibers. But those injuries would soon enough be healed and become power, so it was all worthy in the end. A small sting of sadness hit him when he realized that today was only the first day of his new training regime, but it was something necessary. – I shall… Reach that… G-golden light… - the image of the legendary transformation that made his race the strongest on the universe was now filling his dreams. Truth be told, Nasu never really imagined himself actually becoming a super saiyan, but now it was his goal. Funny how the situation changes the will of a person.
The young saiyan blanked out after about ten minutes on the shade, and he was so tired that he slept for about thirty hours. Luckily for him, nobody found him there, one of the advantages of being in the wastes in a planet that has plenty of fertile land.
