Skulldor stands at 6 feet 2 inches tall and has a brawn figure. While he is no more then a shambling skeleton, his body is held together by magical armor that is bound to him. His face is the only visible part of his figure that is deceased and no longer covered in flesh. Somehow, Skulldor still has the ability to see quite clearly, despite having no eyes. The same can be said for his ability to speak, smell, taste and hear without having vocal chords, a nose, mouth or ears.
With quite the menacing figure, Skulldor's skeletal frame is hidden under his armor, giving him a muscular look. The armor is smoothed around his body, acting as if it was his skin, though it is blue in color. Aside from the armor, Skulldor wears a dark purple hood, along with leather straps that travel from his back before crossing in front of his chest to keep the head secure. On the backside, Skulldor wears a dark jagged looking cloak that stretches down to his calf muscles.
Skulldor also sports a leather piece to cover his neither regions, along with a loin cloth that drapes down both in front and behind. To match, he has a pair of dark purple grieves that cover the shin and around, ending just before the knee and ankles. His toes are decrepit and jagged, both a testament to his many years laying in the grave.
Backstory:
Skulldor Necromus was originally born as Arthur Luccius in 1441 in England. Like his father and grandfather before him, Arthur carried a gift with him. The Luccius family name had been looked down upon, despite the house being of noble class. It seemed there was a division even among the noble born, the Luccius were one of the low nobles due to the gift of magic in their bloodline. Arthur discovered his hidden talents when he was as young as four years of age, able to manipulate objects into floating as if they were weightless. However, a much more sinister and dark magic began to take control.
The Luccius family line was haunted with the ability to see those that had passed and unfortunately, with magic came demons. Arthur had been visited regularly by the deceased and because of this, as he grew older he began to grow more curious. They told him things, told him how to revive the dead and began to corrupt him from a young age. Soon, Arthur began to distance himself from the people he knew, preferring the company of ghosts and corpses.
Arthur began to experiment on the dead, his magic abilities growing as he managed to control small creatures. First it began with the rats and mice, he found that control was intoxicating and soon, Arthur had gone onto much more insidious magic. By the time he was sixteen, Arthur began to experiment on the corpses of fallen soldiers, able to revive them, however it was at a cost. Arthur could not control the shambling bodies and so his lust for power and control continued to spiral out of control.
Seeking knowledge, Arthur sought to contact the dead once more, so that he may learn of more. The demons told him the only way to do so, was to open a portal and allow them to come through. It was then, Arthur became a victim of his own foolishness. It was not darkness that took Arthur, no, it was his own hand. Mixing what he thought to be the ingredients necessary to open the portal, Arthur had actually been conned into creating an explosive.
With the deceased telling him he had one last thing to do, Arthur set the powder ablaze and was caught in a fiery explosion that sent him to Hell. Now, after centuries, the mage had been sent back and so, Skulldor as he called himself, walks the Earth. He remembers very little other than his magic but something drives the walking corpse to recruit and build what he believes to be an army.

There was a low crackle, an echo that rung wildly throughout the dark. In one moment, it all vanished and with the darkness gone, Arthur arose. The skeletal figure let out a surprised holler as he sat up, soil and debris clinging to his garments. How did he end up here? Why was he here? The last thing the undead being could recall was a flash of light and searing pain before waking up in this field. Arthur looked down, he had clawed his way out of a wooden box and the ground. As he turned his head back to look at his surroundings, the male caught sight of why he was here.
Etched into the face of a large stone tablet, a name and dates. Arthur Luccius, 1441 – 1457. The male stared blankly ahead before looking down at his own hands. There was no flesh, no blood, only bone and to his horror, he could not make a sound. What was once Arthur wanted to scream out in horror as he examined his body, there was nothing but barren bone and with nothing but his thoughts to race, he was able to piece together his situation. He had been killed, his memories began to playback through his mind. At the moment of his death, a powerful demon came to Arthur and struck a deal with him.
The being claimed it would return Arthur back to life in exchange for becoming a servant of his. The necromancer agreed, he was in his most vulnerable moment and with nothing but his own life on the line, he had blindly accepted the deal. Recalling the memories, the deceased Luccius soon found himself accompanied by a dark figured individual. He stood under a rotting oak tree, his cane in hand as he watched Arthur panic. ”Now you awake, necromancer. I have need for you.” Arthur tried to respond but he could not produce a noise, there was nothing that came out.
”I’ll leave you this parting gift. Remember, you serve me now, I imbue you with some of my power. You are the servant of Lord Arfestus.” With a single wave of the hand, Arthur found himself being cloaked in some sort of dark vortex. With it, a searing pain shot up his body, the skeletal figure arching back as Arthur’s thoughts were filled with his would be cries of pain. It was the explosion that claimed his life, however, it was giving back what it had taken from the Luccius boy so long ago. Suddenly, his silence was broken and the cemetery in which Arthur was put to rest, was awoken with his anguished yells of pain.
It was over, the pain stopped and Arthur looked once more to his body. He had a cloak about him that mimicked the flesh he once had, he could feel. Turning back to look at the man, Arthur moved to his feet, his figure imposing and a burning crimson in his empty eye sockets. ”Excellent. Lord Arfestus commands that you construct an army much like yourself. We have set our plans in motion and you are a vital part to it all. With one final gift, I give you the tool necessary to create this army.” The man lifted his cane into the air with a single hand, directing it at the new Luccius. The silver cane became contorted and shifted, the slick cane now a few feet longer and jagged.
The makeshift staff then flew to the necromancer, floating before him. ”Do you understand?” Arthur extended his hand out forward, grasping the staff, electricity crackling around it. “Yes Master.”
