Chris looked off the edge of the lookout into the clouds ahead. The main goal he had been striving for..the ability King Kai had given him to help his friends..all but gone now. His strength, his abilities..all but gone. The past, almost nearly a year since this crazy ride had all begun..all progress..even unlocking the powers so legendary as the strength of a super saiyan..all but gone. All because of a virus. A virus so rare..that he practically had to be extremely unlucky to have just gotten it in the first place. With but a simple sigh Chris placed his head in his hands as he pulled on his spiky hair in stress. It was like he was just a plain ole everyday human now. Not one of the martial artist but simply one of the civilians.
Next to Chris was a large variety of books. All from the lookout's library...he had gone through every single one of them and yet still he never found anyone who had suffered like he had mentioned through any of the books. Not a single mention. He had tried to take his mind off of it before..trying countless attempts to train to try and bring his ki back out. However without his ki, the training he used to do was impossible. He could not move fast enough or strike hard enough. Still there had not been a single touch of it returning. Chris had even began to accept the hopelessness of it. He was no hero...he couldn't save anyone now..now his own sister was going to be stuck with the demon queen forever..and there was nothing he could do about it.
Looking out into the darkened sky. The Mayako star able to be seen partially if one were to look for it. One of the nights of demons. A dangerous night. Still it was safe here on the lookout. "Fates of the night..Kais above me..please...show me how I can help other once more..I can't stand the feeling, the feeling of being unable to help once more. Please..show me anything..anything to show me..how I can follow my dreams. " Chris asked in but a silent whisper...something..something must have been keeping a close close eye however. As Chris noticed one of the books open as if some kind of wind forced the book open. It began to even scroll through the pages, until it seemingly opened a very very hidden page having been stuck very close together to the other page. Having made it invisible without someone else showing it. The page began to glow with a gray light as golden lettering appeared in it. A language Chris had never seen before. He however had indeed notice what seemed to be glowing runes hovering around the book in a seemingly circle like fashion. Chris still continued to look in wonder..wonder if this was the thing to help him on this day. Even though every other feeling in his body told him to run and get Master Suko. Something else..a feeling..it felt..it felt like ki..but so much older..still he could feel it. As he walked closer. He touched the book. Silence lasted for seemingly minutes that were only seconds however before he got blasted back.
Chris woke to the books scattered and the page he had touch seemingly burned completely. It would be simply impossible to read the unknown language that had been on it. However it seemed that nothing had actually happened. Damn it had seemed he had just done something he didn't know..all for nothing..again. That was when pain shook his entire body..it was as if his entire body was shifting to the very tiny DNA inside him. He struggled greatly to not scream as he felt it begin to change..his body repairing the damage the virus had became by becoming an unstable ki. This ki felt different to anything he had ever felt before. It felt so much older. As the pain finally faded..Chris noticed a very key thing..He could feel his mentor..he could feel the planet..no the galaxy once more. Still the strength of the super saiyan he couldn't feel any longer. That did not stop him from getting up..and beginning to pour all of his energy into trying..Even he felt something different however..his ki radiating white before changing to a bright golden color, a golden clothing like armor beginning to form, all around his body it went forming into a tight fitted clothing with gloves over his hands even. However one arm still not covered in the clothing but rather showed his bare arm. A hood over his hair keeping the spikiness down and rather the front of it seemingly keeping his eyes invisible to anyone not looking from underneath him. A serious smirk held on his face as two weapons formed in both of his hands. Each one, one of his two blades form before but now duplicated to make two dual bladed staffs. Although he remained silent, he still smiled as his ki changed to a white center with a golden outer. From what he felt of his own ki, it felt almost entirely different. Almost like another race entirely. The saiyan and human from his ki much smaller now. Still remaining, but yet lesser to this newer feeling. "Master, I think I have something to show you outside. " Chris would send to his mentor, who he had no doubt would most likely be surprised maybe at his use of ki. Though more surprised at it's use, or how it felt was a question he couldn't answer.

[Thread PL: 479,227 base. 22,044,442 in Super Saiyan 3 Full Power (Pendulum Room Training). Using Mansion for 50% bonus!]
Atsuko had been training, as she often did. The Pendulum Room ended up becoming her most popular spot, pushing herself on and on to discover new heights of power. In truth, she had already achieved her goal of becoming stronger than Nasu. The Albino Saiyan didn't have any other reason to stick to such an intense training regime, right? It would have been a reasonable assumption any other time, but she knew how close the gap was, and on the other hand... Komatsu ended up saying something that infuriated her to no end. As was the norm, she was fighting Saiyans.
Not Planet Vegeta Saiyans this time, however. Planet Natto Saiyans. A fake version of Nasu included, even a version of Komatsu. Attacking the Saiyan Alliance in a fake reality was the closest she could get to overcoming her issues, venting out her frustrations. When she saw Nasu, the Saiyan felt a rage build up deep inside her from all of the betrayals. All of the horrid things he had ever done to her. It welled up in the form of an attack which ended up him instantly. The fake was only around the power of a Super Saiyan two, after all.
Komatsu was even worse off, but as she stared him in the eyes. All she could remember was... "I'll always defend them!", the words he said to her without hesitation. Caring not even a single ounce that she was visibly hurt by it. "DEFEND THEM FROM THIS!!", she shouted in pure anger as she unleashed Excalibur. Which soon overtook her little brother and then began to collide against the planet. She turned away and sheathed her blade, stepping into a ship which she had apparently used in this reality to arrive on Planet Natto. As the doors closed, the planet began to break apart.
Atsuko simply left it all behind silently, to watch the planet explode from afar. It brought her no measure of relief. It did not ease her pain, it felt empty. The Albino Saiyan knew that she could repeat it as many times as she wanted, and not one of those times would change anything in the true reality. She felt hatred for her brothers... No, they weren't her brothers. They were people that felt like they could just trample all over her because she was a 'brainwashed Earthling', a pathetic weakling. A disgrace to Saiyans...
Or that she was merely 'racist'. Any number of reasons to justify the actions they had taken against her and Earth. The Knight wasn't even insulting the Saiyan Alliance... She said there were differences, but that the government was what she hated. And her reasons for hating them only sparked ire in her little brother. He wanted to 'understand', but he had a completely closed mind to the issue. Despite it all, he had come to her to ask for help... He wanted a resource that the Earthlings had. He had started a war that now involved the Earthlings.
In short. He didn't practice what he preached, and that frustrated her to no end. Yet... She wouldn't say anything to him now. When faced with the real Komatsu, she would merely give him a look of disappointment. No words, no more hate. Just disappointment. That would hurt him more than anything else, and maybe then he would realize how much he's screwed up. With a heavy sigh, the Knight would find herself standing back on the Timeless Lookout... It felt like she was the only one there, just like always. Even though Chris had more or less been confined here.
It wasn't that she was trying to keep him prisoner or something, but she wanted to keep a close eye on him, and he didn't have many other places to go. The Albino Saiyan kept her word that this would always be a home for him. But something would interrupt her chain of thoughts, a spark of power that came from Chris, no less. He... Had gotten his Ki back? But it felt different now, with her mastered senses she was able to tell that right away, but it was still him. It had to be, there was no other explanation.
Shortly after that revelation, she received a telepathic message from him, which further confirmed the identity. Atsuko took a moment to steel herself, taking a deep breath... All to regather her composure as she began to make her way outside of the winding halls of the Palace. As she stepped outside, she was greeted by the sight of Christopher in a new outfit. He was practically radiating with a new energy, it wasn't that of a Super Saiyan, it... Felt more mystical, somehow. Here he was, standing with a newfound power... It brought her a measure of relief.
"I see... You've gotten your powers back, somehow...", she stated with a smile on her face. It was the first genuine one that she had in awhile. The Knight took a moment to lean against a nearby wall, she felt short of breath. Most of all she felt happiness, however. Somehow she hadn't failed her student, and now things weren't crumbling as she originally believed. "Ah... I'm sorry. I guess I'm more emotional than I try to show.", the Saiyan spoke in assurance. It really wasn't becoming of her to get so worked up like this, but she couldn't help it.
After everything she went through, she desperately needed good news. Now she finally had some. "Chris... I'm glad that you have your power back now. Now we can finish your training.", she added, trying to gather some of her usual calmness. Atsuko probably ended up looking rather silly... Or at least, she believed that to be the case. Maybe what she needed to do now was meditate. It had been awhile, but it could wait just a little while longer. Things were finally starting to turn around, Atsuko hoped it would stay at this rate. The more Earth prospered...
Chris grasped onto the grips of both of his dual bladed staffs, their light radiating with his own energy. He felt confident with such power. He felt a new feeling, he felt actually rather cocky. Though he could only suspect that maybe it was just his excitement of having his strength back once more. Either way he was more than back now, he was ready for whatever was next to come. He had a feeling as well..that if some kind of virus were to attack his body once more..this time he would be ready for it. He almost wanted to laugh, yet something still in him kept such restraint. For now he would just relish in the fact that he wasn't just a useless knight any longer.
He still waited for his master to arrive for when she would. While he did in fact wait he decided to test out his powers a bit. Maybe try out a new move he had been itching to try, one he had thought of while he had been stranded without his ki. It was a bit of a word taker, but hopefully it's effect would still be good enough. Especially in the need of a fight where he would need to deliver non lethal blows, while still neutralizing whatever target...one specifically he was thinking of..was his sister..if he could just manage to get to her one more time.
Chris focused his now much stronger ki into materializing a few training dummies. While dissipating his other two dual blades. This technique required everything placed into his one fist. Which meant he could not afford a distraction because of the blades. This had to be timed perfect or else he could literally risk electrocuting himself. Not a problem right? Chris however took notice as the dummies took the form's of natto saiyan's with their builds. One quite scarily looked similar in build to Negi..the saiyan who betrayed him, the other looking like Kinoko, this one because of his suspicions on what she knows of the markings going around. If he could find her, maybe he could find some link to the sorcerer Rumia's friend had told him about..If he could find her maybe he could find a way to get to the demon realm and stop this sorcerer..and find his sister. Either way it seemed Chris as well still held a grudge towards the Natto Saiyans.
Chris stared dead on to the training dummies. He could feel the rage from the thought of what those two had done to him. It filled within him, still he managed to keep it under control as he stared the two training dummies down. Reaching his hand down and grasping it in a fist, he moved his other arm grasping right his arm right above the fist. "Now it is time to see how much I really have improved. Here is my strength all at once! Final Electrical Shocking Magnetic Thrilling Dynamic Voltiac Fury Combo! " Chris would yell as he charged at the Negi shaped dummy first before moving at lightning speed to alternate between the both of them. His fist glowing with lightning blue ki as well as shooting bits of ki electricity at the opponent meant with the intention to temporarily paralyze an opponent.
The fury of assaults moving so fast, the training dummies did not stand a ghost of a chance. They were ripped utterly to shreds. Barely recognizable even. One wouldn't be able to tell who they had once been based off of. All one would be able to tell was that they were in a similar frame to Natto Saiyans. Chris however, was regaining his very energy slowly as he took a few breaths from the training he had just done over that single technique. He loved the rush he was feeling from it. Yet it didn't feel the same anymore. It felt..more subtle. Not nearly as big as he had once felt it to be. Although it was strange at least to him, he still did not find it as much of a nuisance. Rather he felt better without the need of a fight. Still he couldn't believe how strong and how effective his attack had been. It grew a smile to his face.
However his master stepped outside, just from her sheer large power set off his senses as he turned to her. His older cousin, stood there just looking at him. He waited as well for her to say something. Although he realized that from her perspective she probably could not see his eyes even. What a weird thought of how he was able to see yet not for others to see his own eyes. It gave a sense of stealth almost with it, at least to his own feelings. That was the very moment of though he had, when it was interrupted by his master speaking. "Yeah, I'm excited to have my strength back. It's weird and feels quite different, I don't even feel like a saiyan anymore..well not fully anyway, I still feel a part of it and a very small part of the earthling in my ki. Yet this new ki, it feels amazing and yet different." Chris would say with obvious wonder, only to watch as his master leaned against a wall seemingly short of breath. He immediately grew alert only to be replaced with a very different feeling upon her words.
" Master, it's okay to be a bit emotional, After all we have bee through lately, it isn't surprising. After all, being emotional is what makes us truly human after all. I am gladly ready to get back to training with you though. After all we never got to finish did we. Worst case I cut most of my hair off again." Chris would say though near the beginning of it he did eye towards the ripped up natto saiyan shaped training dummies that were close to him. Only to turn back to her and continue a smile at the very joke he told his cousin.

Learned [VT-1] Final Electrical Shocking Magnetic Thrilling Dynamic Voltiac Fury Combo
It seems that the mere act of her arrival prompted a reaction out of Chris, mainly due to her large power... So it really was true, he could use his power again, he could sense the power that others held. It was insane, right up until today, he wasn't able to use his power... Atsuko became convinced that she would have to fight even harder to keep Earth safe, and she'd have to do it herself until Hwa-Jae could be trained up. Now? Well, any statement to her relief would be an understatement. Chris was a valuable asset to the defense of Earth.
But beyond that, the Albino Saiyan cared a lot for his well being, too. After that, he pointed out that his energy definitely felt different, and she would give a nod in response to that. "I noticed that... It feels incredibly different, but I can still tell that it's you. There's a certain air to it, a feeling that's difficult to explain. The closest thing is like seeing someone's face. It may age and look different, but you'll still recognize it for the qualities it still has.", the Knight explained, trying to make sense of it. It was true enough...
About him being only part Saiyan and even Human now, but he was still Chris. If that made any sense whatsoever. After that, he'd say that it was okay to be emotional. Given everything they've been through, it only made sense... That was an assessment she agreed with. Still, a part of her felt like she was showing too much vulnerability. But maybe that was alright after everything. It certainly made sense if she was feeling vulnerable, right? Still, the understanding that he had was appreciated. Then of course he'd make a joke, which prompted a small laugh out of her.
"Let's not give you anymore haircuts that way if we can help it...", the Knight stated. After that, she'd take the moment to ponder. "Still... You've done a lot of training, you've gotten a certain knack for the Martial Arts, and your new power seems like it will mesh well with Excalibur.", the Albino Saiyan would state as she had moved a hand to her chin, her index finger and thumb cupping it in a common gesture to show that she was thinking. "I'd say with all of that taken into account, you're more than prepared for the final technique."
The Saiyan added with a smile, now resuming proper posture. The shock of it had passed, and now she was starting to resemble more of her old self; before she had gotten all stressed out and angry, at that. "We can start your training when you're ready. I won't push for you to do it now. After all, it seems like you're enjoying the moment to stretch out your arms and legs... If you follow my meaning.", Atsuko added. This really did turn everything around, and of course, Excalibur took notice of it almost immediately. How could she not?
"Atsuko! You... Feel really good right now. And I'm guessing it's because of what I noticed, too.", the Sacred Sword chimed in. "Yes... Chris has gotten his strength back. In fact, he's ended up quite strong now. I still need to somehow train him to the point that he can access a power like that of a Super Saiyan Two. But the very least we can do is finish his Martial Arts Training.", the Albino Saiyan responds. "Ahh, right! Our last training session, we had to put it to a stop early... He doesn't know my final technique!"
"Something that we can fix now, hopefully.", after that exchange, the golden sword at her side would begin glowing, and then the woman in red would appear at Atsuko's side. The same confident smile as always was present on her face. "Well! That's quite the interesting energy you have there! Very interesting... But most importantly, it's nice to have you back!", Excalibur would then give a greeting of her own to Christopher. "By the way... Next time you're feeling anything like that, tell us! We're here to help, after all.", she would point out, a little frustrated that he didn't say anything before it got this bad.
But, well. Things had worked out, so the frustration didn't last. "Now, we just have to figure out how to deal with Atsuko's issues...", after saying that, she'd shoot a glance towards her Wielder. The Knight would scratch the back of her head slightly. "I mean... Komatsu said something to me that I can't really forgive. Especially if he won't apologize for it. I keep putting myself on the line for the Saiyans, and I keep paying for it. They should have expected this sooner, honestly.", the Albino Saiyan would defend herself.
"Under the circumstances, I'd say that I've been shockingly nice...", she would add. Excalibur just sighed afterwards. "Yeah... You have your reasons to be upset. I get that, and I try to treat that with respect. I can't say that I'm not at all angry with how they've been handling things either. But your parents wanted peace between the Earth and the Alliance, right?", she would inquire. It prompted a nod out of Atsuko. "They did... But I've been thinking.", Atsuko would then pause for a moment. She wanted to find the exactly right words for this line of thought.
"...Is that what the Saiyan Alliance of today still wants? I'm not so sure, with Nasu at it's head.", Atsuko would just throw that out into the waters. Excalibur would just grow thoughtful at that, and a bit of an awkward silence had taken hold... Well, at least the ball was in Christopher's court now? He certainly had more than a few options on where to take the discussion from here on out. It seems like Excalibur didn't have a retort of her own, and Atsuko didn't have much else to say at this very moment. But it did show what she had been struggling with for awhile now.
Really really sorry I want to continue this thread but right now my muse is at a landslide right now but I will gladly do another thread with you when it's back fully So I am ending it here right now since for that reason
That's fine! I'll go ahead and take zeni for this thread, then. As it's way too small for me to get anything worthwhile in PL, and I need to upgrade me an Ally...
