Down the rabbit hole she had went, falling and falling. She felt the pain of a thousand years as her and Vulpes began to fuse back into a single entity. It felt different now however, as if she could still feel her by her own side. Yet she knew the truth. Vulpes souls was still inside her but it was quiet...she couldn’t believe she was saying this..but she missed hearing their voice. It was all just silence..this hole of darkness eventually hitting a stop as she collapsed with the ground, hard. It had been unexpected enough to hurt quite a bit. Slowly though her vision began to return and she truly started taking notice. She was in a smaller alleyway and in front of her was..home… Something still wasn’t right though. She could feel it deeper in herself, deeper than Vulpes spirit. It was like her heart was shattering.
That was when she noticed the ambulances in front of her. She saw..she saw her mother, their arm outstreched to the side as she was pulled on the cart into the ambulance. It didn’t matter. She could feel the ki, the life force..her mother’s was gone. She wanted to cry, she wanted to weep. Yet the only thing she could do was collapse back to the ground. She had been released from the confines of death only to be released into a world of losing one of the most important people in her personal world, her mother. She wanted to hear her mother’s voice one more time, she wanted to hear Vulpes voice, she wanted to hear Rumia’s voice..but there was only silence..silence only broken by the sounds of her weeping.
Only after the ambulance left did she finally approach her house. It reeked with a feeling of sadness to it, one that she couldn’t stand almost. Walking in she began to walk into her mother’s room, a smell of lavender to it as she collapsed onto her mother’s bed trying to take in the last scents of her that she would be able to have for an eternity. She felt her tears streaming off of her face into her mother’s pillow. Her mother had been the last of her family she had known.and now she was gone forever. What point was there to anything any longer? If all the good was just taken away..as she whined and wept at her mother’s departure she shook the bed only to hear what sounded like metal struck. Quickly she climbed off of the bed and looked under the bed. There was a safe built into the floor. Slowly she held her hand to the lock and began to manipulate fox fire to melt the lock off. Whatever her mother had inside this safe..maybe it would give her something to remind herself of her mother. Once she had managed to unlock the door she was shocked at what she had found. It was a variety of documents, old one ranging to very official ones. As well as a single necklace with a full moon emblem. These douments..one of them was her mother’s birth certificate. Her mother was over two hundred years old!! She had known her mother had been a two tail kitsune. She had been quite strong. Just to know she was over two hundred shocked her. How long could kitsunes live? Another of these documents..they were very royal looking. From what she was reading..her mother’s mother had been a princess who had fled. She had royal blood...that meant..that meant...as she looked out the window at the rest of the poor district..she realized what that meant..she could still help. Slowly she began to fluctuate her ki, mainly to try and attract her friends to her small small house though she couldn’t help if any othe guest came. Hiding the documents back into the safe she grabbed her new necklace, her mother’s necklace and placed it on..she wanted to keep a part of her mother with her..

The White Brenchian nearly had everything in order. Motet's training was finished, they were both much stronger now... Everything in regards to her ship was in order. It all told Vaneera that it was time to get underway. But there was something that gave her pause, an energy that she sensed rather suddenly. Someone that she met before... That much she was certain of. It was also someone that died before. That was Rinako... How was she back? The Future Viceroy heard the explanation from Chris, but it was still unreal to think. Well, she didn't want to waste too much time!
Still, before she just ran off, Vaneera left a note for Motet. Explaining that she sensed someone familiar and went to investigate, with that, the White Brenchian soared through the skies towards the Ki signature. Rinako was pretty strong now, too... Definitely stronger than the Future Viceroy at her base power. But all of that training would pay off pretty soon, she was certain of that. Maybe she could already tap into a greater power... A refined transformation. It was only a theory at the moment, and it wasn't anything that she had particular need of just yet.
The signature led her to a poor district, and even further to a small house within it. Vaneera landed calmly... She didn't have her mask anymore, so she was more mindful about her appearance. Mostly in making sure that her hood kept her face mostly covered while in public like this. But then she knocked on the door. "Rinako?", she asked, voice a little raised so that whoever was inside might be able to hear. After no immediate response, she'd open the door and step inside. Vaneera would close the door behind her and glance around at the small place.
Well, she could still feel the energy in another room, so Vaneera followed it. "I hope you don't mind that I let myself in. I was a little eager to see you... It is you, right? This is the first time something like this has happened...", she spoke once more. This was beyond all of her expectations. To her, death was a permanent thing. People didn't just come back from that, but she could hardly deny the energy she felt right now. And as she rounded the corner and peered in through the doorway... There she was, the woman she tried saving in the park.
It almost went perfectly, until that God King showed up. But somehow she was back. "Rinako...", she wanted to feel overjoyed. But she was able to see the fresh trail of tears on the Kitsune's face. As well as the safe that was forced open. There was just a general feeling of somberness in the household, at that. The Future Viceroy was able to keep herself composed, however. "I don't know how you came back... I have a few questions about that, but it can wait.", she would state. She wasn't entirely sure how to proceed here.
"Ah... Are you okay? You look like you've been through hell.", a part of her almost recognized the look. It resembled what she went through when the news of her Father's death arrived. She still didn't know who or what caused it. It could have been any number of things... The Planet Trade Organization made many enemies, within and without. It was another reason why she wanted to change it. Maybe Rinako would help with that? It might take her mind off of all of this too. But she didn't want to impose anymore than she already was, either.
The White Brenchian silently hoped that Motet would show up soon. Her friend was better at the more social activities than she was. It's not that she didn't care, it's just that she didn't really know how to convey her emotions the right way. Vaneera was just... Better at making plans and fighting for what she thought was right. This was something that she couldn't do either for, however. Vaneera felt a whole lot of conflict. Happiness that Rinako was back, but concern over something that happened, too. All she could do was wait for her to respond, though.
From there, she could gauge how to act.... A part of her had to hold back the offer just for the moment, but maybe it would be good for Rinako to get out of this place and see what she and Motet were planning to do with the Planet Trade Organization. It might give her inspiration to make something of her own life, but of course she didn't want to just say it like that. It might come off the wrong way, and maybe it wasn't really something welcomed at the moment. Hell, she was sort of trespassing at the moment...
At least she remembered to knock on the door and announce her presence. Vaneera could have easily forgotten that in all of her haste to confirm that it was actually Rinako that she was sensing. Then again, if Rinako wanted to be alone... Maybe she wouldn't have flared up her power like this either. "Sorry that I just sort of barged in... Once I felt your energy, I just had to be sure that it was actually you, if that makes sense. I sort of... Watched you die right in front of me, after all.", she explained. It was hard to forget that sort of thing.
It was another reason why Vaneera had to restrain herself, there was a part of her tempted to just give Rinako a hug. Maybe she was too reserved for her own good. Maybe the Future Viceroy spent so much time thinking that she ended up overthinking things. It wouldn't really surprise her at this point, so all she could do now was just slow down. Take some deep breaths, and listen to Rinako. Maybe Motet would show up shortly, too. Then she could feel a little more at ease about all of this.
Though she had received Vaneera's message, and hadn't been far behind her afterwards she had been unable to enter the actual house. Instead she hovered a few feet above staring at the place. Inside she felt the same feeling as the night Shizen was taken away, the same as when she was in the hospital with Vaneera. 'Regret' 'Sadness'. She hated those feelings. They were just so well.... sad. The only difference was the feeling wasn't coming from her this time, it was coming from the familiar energy Vaneera had entered the house to see. That energy... she could feel it now to. That didn't make sense though. Sad or not Van had taught her about death. She should not able to sense that familiar energy, because it was of the Fox girl that had died that night, Rinako. It was strange to Motet. Was someone imitating her energy, could people do that? Or had been Chris been telling the truth? She hadn't wanted to believe, because she knew Vany wouldn't lie to her but... their wearnt a whole lot of reasons to be feeling that energy again ether.
"Maybe... theirs only one way to find out"
Yes the only way she could know was to go down and see for herself. She was worried of course... but Vaneera was down there to. So even if it was a trap or something bad they would still have each other! Still when she landed and opened the door, she was shocked at what she saw after a bit of searching. Their just past Vany... it was the fox girl Rinako! But.. But she died! Vaneera said so and up until now her energy had been gone, poof! It. Just didn't make sense to her but... what she could make sense of was the impression she got from her. That feeling of sadness and regret.... it was coming from her.
"Rinako...."
Motet wished Shizen was here. She was better at this sort of thing than her or Vaneera. She had always helped Motet feel at ease. But... she supposed she wasnt here, wouldn't be for a while. Until then well... how had Shizen done it? Motet would simply walk over to the kitsune and gently place her hands on her shoulders, a gentle smile on the playful girls lips. Unbeknowest to Motet a soft green glow would begin to emit from the necklace containing Shizen's seed around her neck. The energy would mix with Motet's own ki and proceed to flow gently into the kitsune girl's body, likely making her feel at least a bit more comfortable, due to the natural energy flowing into her.
"Hey Riny... you can talk to us if you need to, that's ummm... that's what friends are for!"
Briefly Motet would look back at Vaneera, the look of concern obvious on her face, along with the energy flow Motet still failed to notice herself, yet the energy would feel familiar to anyone that had felt Shizen and Motet's ki before. Motet then turned back to face Rinako, and embraced the kitsune in a hug, just as her friends had done for her-and her for them.

What more could she say as she lied there alone in the darkened room. Besides the reason she was given as such what point was there to do anything else? What would await her more out there? The deaths of others? The thought that if those souls died again in the afterlife they would cease to exist? So what was the point to any of this? Was there any point? She was willing to say no so easily to that very question. To lose a friend was tough as is, to lose a family member was even worse, to lose your mother who had been convinced you were dead, only to realize once they were to go to the afterlife that their daughter wasn’t there but rather still here on Earth? Utterly inconceivable..that was why she just couldn’t see a point any further..
Until she heard those voices again, the same voices from the day her life had went to a living hell..the day her world turned upside down. Vaneera and Motet, she still remembered that day fresh in her mind, the whole experience of everything, the fear, the pain, the rush..All of it bad memories that she didn’t want a part of any longer. Just because she had to get along with Vulpes now, didn’t mean she wanted to remember those days. She wished Vulpes was here as well to talk with the soul, but they were quiet for reasons she still couldn’t guess. She could barely understand Vaneera or Motet behind her. The bed doing its job of keeping others quiet from her own ears.
However once Van made the statement of her looking like she had went through hell she did let out a small laugh at that before that smile faded as she got up. ”You have no literal idea how true that statement is.” Rinako would say as she would feel the embrace of Motet, she felt something covering her, some kind of ki, but although it provided only a minor comfort, it was nowhere near powerful enough to heal the wound of a broken heart, the loss of a mother. She felt another tear reach her cheek once more. Silent although she was one could tell the depression she was in. Heck if one could really call it that for sure. Either way the sadness raining from her eyes, her heart, were all but true.
Motet made the notice of how they were friends, they could talk with her. She didn’t know how to put it.. ”If you look in that box..it's a royal birth certificate, I don’t know why my mother hid it. However I’m eligible to become Queen of Earth..” She would begin to speak though one could wonder why she said she was eligible but not her mother, only then would it sink in why, the ki of death radiating from this room. Her mother was gone, all of Rinako’s family was gone except maybe a younger cousin that she had no idea of where they could be, just another person mentioned in her journal, of an aunt who was far gone but with a child.
At first it seemed like Rinako didn't want to say anything or talk with them at all. The White Brenchian wasn't really sure what to do... But eventually the Kitsune did speak up, after a light chuckle after the comment of looking like she'd been through hell. So... Literally. Vaneera got the message there. "Sorry...", she replied. That's not how she intended it. Thankfully, Motet showed up soon after and did her best at comforting their distraught friend. Although the Future Viceroy was more or less able to piece together what happened here once Rinako spoke up again. So someone really did die...
Probably her Mother, given how she was talking... So on top of it all, the Kitsune was eligible to become Queen of Earth, huh? That's quite a lot to just take in one day. So maybe she'd need a little bit of guidance on what it was like. Vaneera would calmly walk over as well. "Well look. It's far from my place to tell you how to do anything...", she began. "But knowing what you can do, how much you can help your people as a result... Maybe it's time to learn how?", she poised the question to Rinako.
"We didn't really get to talk back in the park... But now you should know that I'm not from Earth. Neither of us are, as I imagine you may have guessed. We come from a world called Brench... We're Brenchians, as obvious as that might sound. But we're also from a faction that calls themselves the Planet Trade Organization... I was born the daughter to the Viceroy. But both of us can tell you just how horrible that Organization is right now, too.", she continued. It all did have a point, this was leading up to something! She would swear by it.
"That's why I've been making plans and preparations... Motet and I are going to be heading to Planet Brench in order to take control of the Organization. We're going to change it entirely. It will be making history. I'm new to this whole 'Ruler' thing... But I think this will be a good experience for you. You can come with, if you'd like.", Vaneera explained. "It will show you the ropes, and... Well, it will serve as a reminder that you aren't alone.", the White Brenchian added. Still, it was as she said. She couldn't make Rinako do anything.
"In the end, it's your choice... But you're certainly welcome if you want to come. Maybe you'll find your own inspiration with what you'd like to do here on Earth. I won't be asking you to stay on Planet Brench, or with the remade Organization.", she finished. With that, Vaneera would look expectantly at Motet. It was the only thing that she could think of in order to try and comfort Rinako. Maybe it would help? Maybe it wouldn't. Vaneera was just wondering if it was the right decision to make at the moment, and was almost silently asking Motet that question.
But soon enough, the Future Viceroy's gaze would turn back to Rinako. "Oh yeah... We're not going to be leaving straight away either. So take some time to think it over, I imagine you have a lot that you need to work out right now, too.", she at least wanted to assure the Kitsune of that much. With that, the White Brenchian fell silent, wondering what could be said now that wasn't already said... Well, she was curious of something. Vaneera would look back to Motet once more, that strange glowing energy... She definitely didn't imagine that.
"By the way, Motet... How did you do that? It looked like you did the same thing as Shizen.", Vaneera inquired. Now as far as she knew, Motet was born a pure Brenchian. And while they were a very capable race, most didn't have elemental control. There was little to mistake in that it highly resembled what Shizen used to do, though. Vaneera wracked her mind for the answer. Maybe it was the seed that Shizen left as a gift? She was uncertain, but it was very possible that could be giving her some sort of elemental power...
If Motet was absorbing the energy in it somehow, or maybe it was just resonating with her. The Future Viceroy could claim to be no expert on that field, but it was very curious indeed. Maybe once they got back to Planet Brench and everything settled down, Vaneera would have to start looking into it more carefully. If Shizen were still around, she'd be able to ask her about this... That wasn't really an option right now. But there wasn't much to be done, either. There was no way they would ever defeat the God King, not without a ridiculous amount of training.
They would need an absurd power before they could ever bring Shizen back... There was also the question of whether or not she would want to come back. It only served to depress Vaneera to think like that, however. Maybe the gloomy atmosphere of the small structure was getting to her. She tried to put it aside and think of the positives. They were very close to getting underway with their plan! And maybe Rinako would be coming with too, that would liven things up a little! Plus... She just didn't feel right leaving the Kitsune here alone.
The Future Viceroy also fancied the idea of maybe showing Rinako the ropes about leadership. If she wanted to pursue the throne here on Earth, anyway. With all of that out of the way, the White Brenchian fell silent once more. Allowing Rinako and Motet both some time to process what she said and respond in turn. Vaneera didn't expect a speedy recovery on Rinako's part, but she silently hoped that it wouldn't turn out that they would just be having a bad day. Her pain was entirely understandable, but... You had to keep moving forward even in the face of events like this, right?
That's how Vaneera had got here, if she gave up back then... None of this would have happened.
Motet would release her hug, and with it the aura around her and Rinako would fade. The childish brench would gaze to the papers Rinako mentioned with curiosity. So she was royalty to, just like Van Van? She could become the queen of earth.... of all the humans? That was pretty amazing! Still... she didn't look happy. No Rinako really looked down. Ack... Motet Wasn't exactly sure why but just being in this how... it felt like that night at the hospital. It felt like.... like death. Motet would noticeably shiver and back up for a moment, as if trying to shake off the feeling on her now more sensitive ki senses. Though the teen wished to comfort her kitsune friend she found herself instead backing towards vaneera, offering a half smile when the future viceroy looked to her for confirmation. Vany was doing the right thing for sure! It was motets newfound weakness for death that was getting the better of her. Still she... this wasn't about her! Rinako was the one that needed help here. Motet needed to be strong for her, and strong enough for Vaneera to rely on. The brenchian took a a deep breath and took a step foward from the place she had retreated to in Vaneera's shadow.
"I guess.... your mother was nice, huh? She cared for you... loved you. That's special.... must hurt a lot. But you know I... if all of what I'm thinking is true... I don't think she'd want you to despair like this. I think... maybe she'd want you to hold your head high. Hold it high and show off a beautiful smile!"
Motet would offer a light smile to Rinako as she said those words. The feeling of death was still affecting her, but she was doing her best to ignore it for her friend. She would then offer her words to Van's own, in support of her words.
"Vany Is right, as it is now the pto is lead by a jerkass council and aassisted by my family... were going to fix it and if it would help you grow into what this planet needs for a ruler I'd be glad for you to travel with us! Plus the more friends we have the easier it's bound to become! That and I really font want to leave you all by your lonesome while we leave.... friends stick together after all!"
Motet would then turn her attention back to Vaneera as her besty asked her question. Motet would blink in confusion. What had she done? By the look on her face it was clear the mentally younger brench hadn't notice the energy that she had released.
"What do you mean Vany? All I did was hug Riny! Ummmm what did I do like Shizen? I mean I know shes nice buts lots of people give hugs Van Van...."
What had she done? Being like Shizen would ve cool but she didn't get how! Had she grown wings? Oooh ooh or maybe her hair changed color!

Rinako didn’t know how to react properly to what Van had begun to say, not any kind of comforting words, just immediately straight to the point on how to help her people. It was rude..”I have my own plan for helping them, I learned..from someone else, I just never knew that what they had been training me for was for this..” She would say not terribly surprised by what Vaneera had said about her and Motet not being from this planet. It..had been rather obvious with how they acted, it made them stick out like sore thumbs.
She remained silent, her red stained eyes from the soreness of tears staring back at her. She listened as she began to describe where they came from. She really didn’t know how this was supposed to make her feel any better. They lived a terrible life, she had a terrible life, what was she really supposed to feel here except the pain of loss that coursed through her? These two weren’t helping..no mainly Vaneera wasn’t helping at all. Motet had at least helped a bit with her hug. Otherwise though, were these two just like others? Only wanting to use her to further their own goals? How could she know, it had happened before, what was to stop it from happening again.
”So let me get this fully straight..I find out my mother is dead, and the first thing you do is to ask me to help you take back control of your planet. Do you realize just how inconsiderate that actually is? I don’t know what it’s like on your planet, but I know it’s at least got to be partially that same feeling. When a loved one has passed you don’t just ask someone to help you out with something!” She would huff after yelling such. Yes she was emotional but frankly who wouldn’t have been after such a disrespect. ”Someone has shown me what to do..I just never understood what they had meant until now. As you already guessed, I will help you, but if any actual fighting erupts, I’m not going to help with it unless there is an absolute risk of you two dying.. This is your war, I won’t have my people become a part of this war.” She would say with a hint of harshness, she didn’t want it to seem in a bad way, but she wasn’t going to let her own people get involved in this war if they did lose and they saw an earthling with them.
That was when she heard the words of Motet, those were filled with an actual calming sense, something Van’s words had lacked. She had at least made the attempt to make her feel better. Motet was a true friend. ”Motet..thank you. You're right though, I will come with you guys, as a friend..” Rinako would speak softly as she looked in her mother’s journal, a map drawn in it each having certain spots marked. She could only wonder where these would lead.
Vaneera listened as Rinako mentioned having her own plan on how to help her people. "If that's the case, then I'll not press on the subject.", she replied. Maybe the Kitsune took it in her own way. The White Brenchian wasn't going to pry anymore than she already had. The truth of the matter was she didn't know how to act in this sort of situation. The Future Viceroy had her own terms of coping with loss. Maybe it was different here on Earth. But what the Kitsune said next... That set her off. The Brenchian would merely turn away.
"Then wallow in your damn self pity and try to solve everything by yourself. You know what? That's what I tried to do. It got to the point where I found it better to give up.", she would respond harshly to Rinako. "Additionally, I never said that I wanted you to help us take control. Frankly, between Motet and I, we won't need any help. I'm taking you along as an escort, so you wouldn't have to be alone. So you could learn how this shit actually works. I don't know what you were taught and I don't care. It never shapes up to the real thing."
She would shout back at the Kitsune. "As for your people...", she then turned towards Rinako, glaring at her right in the eye. "I've already made the decision that Earth is going to be my home if all of this doesn't work out. They're just as much my people now. I don't want them involved in this war, and that's precisely why I'm leaving everyone here on Earth. You can drop your damn attitude. You think you're the only one to ever have something horrible happen to them? You think it gives you the right to act like a total bitch?"
Vaneera clenched her hands into fists at this point. "I tried to save your life, and I watched you die right in front of me. The very first day, when you come back... When I don't even know how to react to this shit, the first thing you decide to do is insult me? Rinako, you can go back to hell. And if you do intend to come with us... You better change how you intend to act as a goddamn leader. Because you're going to spark war if you speak like that to any other leader."
With that, the Future Viceroy would begin making her way towards the door. "...I'm done here. Do what you two like.", she would then state briefly. She wasn't going to stand for this. Vaneera opened up with what she had gone through, what she intended to do, and Rinako picked through for every worst thing in it, twisting it into something else and insulting her. Her patience for the Kitsune had reached it's ending point in one simple moment, and she nearly made the decision to pull back her offer for the Kitsune to travel with them.
Why take along someone that viewed her so lowly? "...If we're really friends. You wouldn't view me like I'm your enemy.", that was the last thing she had to say before walking out the door. Vaneera kept pace to leave the house, and upon getting outside she'd take flight. It wasn't that she was trying to ignore what Motet had to say either, but right now, they had to talk later. She wasn't going to interrupt the moments that her friend could have, even if it met that she personally couldn't be there for them. The nerve of that Kitsune...
All Vaneera knew now was that Rinako would have to bend over backwards to come along with, or otherwise Motet would have to vouch for her. Because the Future Viceroy was done with her. She had no reason to take along someone that hated her entirely and utterly and then still had the galls to say that she was a friend. That being said... In her emotional state, it wasn't exactly as if she was moving at her fastest. Vaneera had quite a ways to go before she would actually be well out of the reasonable vicinity to be stopped.
But her plan was to return to that village in Mount Paozu. If Rinako wanted to make all of those assumptions about her... That was her choice, and she could live with the consequences of it. "Damn it... Just another corrupt leader in the making. If she thinks I'll leave Earth... She has another thing coming.", she muttered. The Future Viceroy was practically fuming at this rate. Why wouldn't she have reason to be? That girl spared no expense in stabbing a knife into the heart and twisting it slowly, but surely. On her day of returning from death, no less.
That was something that the White Brenchian couldn't comprehend in the slightest! Why hadn't her Father returned from death?! There so many people that did die, and they stayed that way! They didn't get a free pass to return! Yet Rinako was acting like she had every reason to trample on everyone else regardless of how they might have been able to take the reality of someone cheating death! The more she thought about it, the more her power flared up. Her aura surging to it's peak. "Tch... Caring so much about what she says...", she spat out.
"It couldn't be that I felt bad because of her dying right in front of me! Because of my total inability to do help anyone!", she roared again. Her only saving grace was that she was well into the air at this point and no one could bother her... Or at least, that was what she thought. Her emotions had become such a mess that she couldn't even tell if anyone was on their way towards her. Eventually the White Brenchian just stopped, taking the moment to catch her breath... It all had rendered her dazed, her view practically spinning.
A brief opening.
