Capsule Corporation.
It was a place she had an eye on, ever since earth had gotten a new Queen. One who was a kitsune, and had taken her place into gaining such a royal position, because she hadn't been strong enough to take over that last family first.
She still wasn't according to the fanatics amongst her minions, but it was fine. That fact wasn't difficult to accept, seeing what happened to the Saiyan outpost on the Southern Islands, and for someone to take that sort of power over a planet for themselves, they had to have been reasonably strong. So she was fine waiting a couple more years.
Maybe even a whole decade. As a Vampire, the life she had ahead of her was low, and this youthful appearance that came with being only sixteen, would stick with her for a long while. Perhaps it was even the best that a Kitsune had the throne. Tricky creatures, who clearly had reasoning and intelligence behind their decisions and playful acts.
Or at least, that was what she knew about their lore. They were able to think beyond the level of an average human, and that was really what mattered. So long as it didn't interfere with her other plans to power, then it was fine.
Capsule Corp was her back up plan. She didn't know much about the economy, as that wasn't her intended major, but she knew enough in general to know that it could easily rise and fall with the wrong investments. She also knew that Capsule Corp, which had been a company with a long success in prospering, was a good company to be apart of.
They were essentially old money, if there really had to be a label to them, and had funds which didn't seem like they would run out anytime soon. To be in their highest position of power, would possibly be the best resource she could pool from, given the time to settle in. The only thing that had really stopped her from doing a takeover, was time.
Time to gather enough power through her own accord, to strike fear into the city that she hadn't been able to do months back. Time to gather a pool of funds which she had in mind to use to accommodate future allies and minions.
All of which had come to a past now that she had gotten those things. Every instance and event where she had gained closer to this goal, she had went over her plans, seeing how things could go wrong, and reassigning roles where necessary. Including herself, she had a party of ten people, who had a different mix of skills and assets.
A mix of different strength and weaknesses. Out of all of them, six had the strength and speed needed to possibly defend against any unwanted attention, if it really came down to that. While the rest were merely decoys.
People who those within Capsule Corp, and those on the streets, wouldn't expect that they were up to anything nefarious. The simplest route would just be to take those who could fight along with her, and leave the rest to be decoys. Any attraction she could possibly attract to a building like Capsule Corp of all places, likely wouldn't be dangerous. But she didn't feel comfortable leaving her cousin open to the possibility of being attacked.
It took a lot of consideration and input to come up with a final plan, but this one seemed to be solid. And as human as it made her feel reviewing the plan, it couldn't be helped that it brought things back to basics.
Back when it had only been just her, the Majin, and the Saiyan. This would be the first group who will go inside of the building, and make their way up into gaining an audience with the current Capsule Corp president.
The second group meanwhile, would involve Dashie and Miki, who will follow after the first, and ensure they aren't followed further in. Both the Supidoan and the other Vampire should be fast enough to prevent any escapes.
Stopping people from hitting the panic button wouldn't be a problem, though there's likely cameras in the lobby, that would alert workers stationed at a position that could hit a different panic button elsewhere. But that wasn't too worrying, because the last two groups will be the ones keeping people from going further inside.
The fanatics of her group, Ayumi and Hana, would be the ones checking both the sides and back of the building. Both the Vampire and Human were already a good pair, so there wasn't a real need to split those two apart from each other.
She could say the same about the two conservative duo of the group, Asuka and Mayu, who will be managed by her cousin. Their innocence should be enough to deter away questions as something believable, and if not, Yui should be able to take care of things through force, verbally or physically. It was difficult to really tell what her cousin planned.
Most of those around here, using past experiences of those she had invited to her mansion, weren't really the threatening sort. She had actually yet to meet someone who she would refer to as a danger. Those who perceived as threats, were those creatures from space that were bug-like, and those who had many transformations.
Their existence however were still nothing more than rumors. Word of mouth. Drawings which could have been misconstrued and explained by someone's imagination from exhaustion. Because who was really strong enough to live to spread the word of beings with that kind of power? But it would hardly be a surprising thing to learn they're real.
She had met many different groups of species trying to gather the right allies and minions. Many of them had potential, but a majority had been hybrids, whose blood were diluted enough to have them as cultured as humans.
The drive that she expected from their species were practically either nonexistent, or needed to be forced out. And even then, it was nothing she had imagined from what a real demon was. Or a Saiyan with more experience than her own young ally. They were nearly all disappointments, but it wasn't a total loss. She had learned much.
Being aware of their existence, along with their styles, would actually go onto help her with this takeover. Her minions and allies were fully informed on how to approach any sign of combat, when it came to certain species.
A couple of blasts and some time to send out a text should be enough to handle anything that could come their way. Though she highly doubted that was a worry. She had traveled to all the major cities, and hadn't bothered to hide her power on numerous occasions, with no one headed to her location to come find her. Just a bunch of coincidences that led her to meeting the numerous amount of guests she invited to her mansion. People who didn't know she studied them.
Confidence would really be the key here into making sure this takeover becomes a success. And what she wanted to believe was that there wouldn't be much stopping her from gaining this position. She saw herself as a rather reasonable person, whose decisions were backed up by things that she had thought through on more than one occasion.
Because there was a difference between dreaming of wanting something, and actually carrying things out. This plan of hers had enough thought into it, and she still had the same feelings of wanting to take on this position, as she did when she had decided to settle on gaining the power of this company. There wasn't much left beyond second best.
All she saw in her eyes, without this position, was the amount of time she had to wait to obtain the best. Settling for second place was better use, than choosing nothing at all. That was her decision, and she wasn't the type to back out of things. Not when this had been a plan that had been worked on for so long. It would be a waste to drop it.
Looking at her reflection in the mirror, she had sighed. All of this thinking was stressful, yet it should have also been exciting to do something so risky. But she didn't feel that racing excitement, or really, had the inability to, without danger or blood around. One of the many costs that came with giving up the human weaknesses she had.
The others were downstairs, told to be at their own leisure, until she was ready to leave. According to the clock on the wall, she had spent about a good hour or two going over the plan in her head. It was still early enough to carry things out however, and once she was taken to the current president, she would only need about an hour to discuss affairs. The idea was to get them to agree to sign over their shares of the company, and to resign.
It wouldn't really be an immediate transaction however, in order to get under the radar of the legal affairs that came with doing a takeover. Though by the end of this discussion, she would gain the position, with her parents acting as representatives, if her authority really had to go on and be questioned by anyone. Which wasn't really likely.
Strapping on her slingbag, and leaving her room, she headed downstairs to the living room, where they were told to wait. Even with how serious this whole operation was for her, and really should be for them, the place still remained lively as ever, as she came closer and closer to where the others were. She couldn't help but think about why though.
Her cousin, crude as she could be, should understand the kind of trouble this could bring, if not pulled off successfully. But the red-head was also her number one supporter, so her acting like usual wasn't anything new.
The same had went for her Majin, Saiyan, and Supidoan allies, whose cultures were used to facing off dangers, and fighting. Miki, she couldn't really understand. The other girl was the leader of a different coven, and considered herself to be a rival to her own. Yet, she had still shown up when asked to assist her with this plan, not really giving reason as to why. Ayumi and Hana were fanatics, but watching and getting involved were different things.
Even with the former also being a Vampire, there wasn't really much interest in training, than there was leading the latter through her own ordeals. Then finally, there was the more conservative duo of the group, Asuka and Mayu. Their gentle natures made them loyal, though that should have brought hesitation hearing this plan.
She saw each of their faces as she entered the living room, all crowding into their own pairs, but still filling the room with life. Their chatter didn't end upon her arrival, like they were all some unified presence. A majority of them, including herself, were high school age, and only a few had really gone and noticed her presence.
"Lady Rukia."
From her position on the floor, having cradled the other girl in a hug, Asuka had pulled the two up, where both had slightly bowed. The brunette's smile never changed much from her usual beaming happiness, which showed slight concern now. Even Mayu, who should have been nothing more than shyness, had a similar confidence to her friend.
"Forgive me for the phrasing, but we've all been waiting for you. If you need more time though w-"
"Speak for yourself. If you wanna mope all day, then whatever, but I'm not going to sit here all day."
Her cousin had cut off the brunette, hopping off of the couch from her seat next to the Supidoan, demanding who knows what from the blue alien. The red-head stepped in front of the other girl, who lowered her head and gave a little nod, taking her friend by the hand, and leading her elsewhere. Something which her cousin had only smirked at.
"Whatever's going on in that head of yours needs to chill. This whole plan of yours is going to work out fine."
There was no hesitation shown by the girl in poking her in the shoulder, where behind the red-head on the couch, she saw Miki watching in bewilderment. The three of them all went to the same school, but for whatever reason, the other brunette was always shocked by this behavior. It was surprise that could have been mistaken for merely interest, but she had come to learn to read the girl's expressions for what it actually was, than what it appeared to be.
She shut her eyes, not really in annoyance, but more so in realization of where things seemed to be headed. Though both her cousin and the other two girls were meaning to help her out in what was essentially a pep talk, she had very much already made her decision, deciding to come down here in the first place. It was actually seeing their faces, and all of them acting the way she had expected, like any other day, that really solidified this decision.
Everyone was acting normal, despite how serious this takeover should be, because they had confidence in her. Confidence that everyone else who was here could keep them relatively safe from danger, as the plan was carried out.
"The both of you are making rather hasty assumptions. If you're all ready as you say, then we could take our leave now."
Dismissive was the best way in recovering from these accusations, as she turned around and headed towards the front door. There wasn't a need to openly acknowledge the advice they were trying to give any other way. Recognition shouldn't have been something any of them were looking for, in times where it was obvious that she was stumped.
It was much too human, and they all should know what her standing about that was. As well as where her standing with them were. The walls of her mansion passed her by as she led the group, and were exchanged for the city streets and buildings. Once that air had hit her, she had taken off in a speed that most of them wouldn't keep up with.
People and buildings became more of a blur, taking her back to previous times she had raced herself, and didn't hide her true strength, in order to draw out potential allies. Attempts that never really worked, as future allies like the Supidoan, settled in after a number of days, and had different times as to when they would come out of hiding.
She wasn't bothering to play with such a method now, though she was planning on releasing her true power when she had gotten there. Her failures in driving out a sense of desperation in her past guests, were because they weren't as weak as many of the humans that were in this city. What better way to strike fear into them, than showing someone with her kind of power was intentionally not choosing to knock over buildings. That she was capable of reason.
The Capsule Corp building, unless you were new to the city or very sheltered, was a place that many who lived here would come to recognize. Though its size wasn't like the skyscrapers that were in this city, a fact like that didn't represent its long standing at all. Getting to the building, at her level of speed, wasn't an issue at all.
And left behind in her wake, were those she had avoided, and weren't prepared for what they would mostly view as a rush of wind. She knew her allies and minions enough that they would help those they could into standing up, though they knew full well for this plan to actually work, it wouldn't do them good to really take their time.
She could picture her conservative duo being the ones most affected at leaving behind those who had fallen, right next to the Supidoan, who usually went out of his way to help those he felt that they were in need. The emotions they felt from having to sacrifice something however, was exactly what she wanted them to feel. Expressions she wanted them to see, as they fully understood just how much this position meant for her, in disregarding care of those around.
Alone at the moment from reaching the building first, those who had meant to walk into the building, or at least were just walking by, would be surprised by her sudden appearance. It was only now that she stopped hiding her power, eyes glowing red and forming into slits, while her fangs were retracted out in display for those who were around.
The pressure she had exerted from her strength, regardless of those who knew how to sense ki or not, should have been felt. An inability to do something couldn't hide the look in her eyes, which showed she didn't want her time wasted.
Their retreating figures were a pleasant sight to behold, and the rest of her party had joined her shortly after. The trickle of sweat and shared frowns, they certainly knew exactly what they were looking at. Though they had split up into their positions as she turned towards the door, and headed into the building where the lobby was.
Changes in the air had surfaced, as the Supidoan and other Vampire had sped around, gathering what workers were around in the lobby, while the Majin and the younger Saiyan watched these rounded up groups for any trouble.
Only the worker who stood at the front desk, and hadn't dared to move at all, was left, allowing the speedsters to continue through the building. No words needed to be exchanged about the plan, or at least ones directed at her. She had walked up to the front desk, leaning over, hands on the counter, as she smiled. Her fangs were very visible.
"I'd like to speak with your president."
