It was rather early in the morning, and possibly at an hour that on Earth no one would even want to do anything other than lay down on the bed and sleep for another ten minutes or more, and he couldn’t blame them even if it weren't even that earlier. It wouldn’t have taken much for the sun to shine upon Planet Natto after all, and Cornatto himself acknowledged the fact that a person needed lots of sleep. But it wasn’t like the Earthling Saiyan didn’t take a few naps throughout the day, or well, whenever he wasn’t training or doing something for the Alliance obviously.
One would likely expect Cornatto to be waking up early in the morning for, indeed, some paperwork or just some business that had to do with the Alliance, but it wasn’t like that at all. Or actually, it did have a little bit to do with the Alliance-- but it was also a personal reason; to get stronger of course! The man’s strength had been increasing a lot since he had moved to Planet Natto and started training the Soy Arts, and while he had managed to accomplish a lot that far, there were still lots of stronger people!
His friend and master himself, Natto, was incredibly strong! While he never had the chance to see him in a serious fight, even what he had to endure during their first training in the training halls of the Soy school was enough for him to tell that the two were on completely different levels. However, such a thing didn’t certainly discourage him-- on the other hand, the Saiyan was eager to catch up with him and fight the fellow Saiyan on an equal level. He knew that it could have likely taken a while and tons of effort, but that wasn’t a problem to the Earthling Saiyan.
He was willing to spend as much time as needed to get stronger, not only for himself but the Alliance too! Just like Natto told him last time during their training; he wanted him to be strong, and Cornatto outright agreed with him.
He wanted to keep surpassing himself and his limits until he would have been done for, even if he didn’t even know there were any limits anymore. He did believe there were things such as limits on one’s battle power back then on Earth, but he wasn’t even sure that limits ever existed in the first place. Some people were stronger than he had ever imagined back then on Earth, and the man himself had been increasing in strength and power drastically lately. Not to mention that he had also managed to unlock the Super Saiyan transformation, which put him on a new level. However, it was also true that the Saiyan’s attitude changed somewhat whenever he’d turn into the golden form, but he could still control himself at least.
Anyways, after ten minutes or so, he was finally ready to get out of his apartment and fly straight to the Soy Training Halls. The man walked out of his apartment, making sure that the door was locked before he took off and flew away at high speed, looking down every now and then. It had been quite a while since the Saiyan had left the blue marble to follow Natto and company to this new planet, and from that, the fellow Saiyan had managed to build up an Alliance quite quickly. It was definitely an impressive feat, the man thought that it’d have been impossible for other people to manage such a thing as easily as Natto did, but it was likely because of the numerous Saiyans who didn’t believe in the Empire’s ways.
It made him smile considering back then when he joined; it was still a small group made of a few Saiyans that didn’t approve of the Empire’s ways; honestly, he was somewhat impressed that there hadn’t been a direct conflict yet. It was evident that both factions would not have lasted together without one of them falling, and preferably it’d be the Alliance striking them first and possibly attempt at gaining the upper hand. Yes, he hated that kind of stuff but it was nothing compared to all the Empire had done throughout the years. He wasn’t exactly even aware of the soldiers within the Empire’s rankings, but he guessed that it was likely full of strong people, and there were likely more than just a few Super Saiyans around. It wouldn’t have surprised him honestly.
Cornatto aside, even the Alliance had quite a few Super Saiyan within their ranks; even if most of them were still parts of the high rankings, or at least he had not met any private who had managed to trigger the legendary transformation yet as of that day. But it wouldn’t have been that much of a surprise honestly. The Saiyan didn’t think much of the rankings-- especially if they were based off one’s power level since they didn’t mean much anyways; Cornatto himself was born a low-class warrior and yet his current power was even superior to the one of an Elite. So, for him at least, the rankings that the Empire used was pretty much useless crap.
He snapped out of his thoughts as his head lowered down, inspecting the capital before his eyes locked upon a huge building which was also where they had placed the training hall. Last time Cornatto had been there, he had a little encounter with Natto’s first son; Nasu, he was somewhat of a troublemaker, but he was a kid, and Saiyan children were known to be tough to handle. There was also Komatsu, his other son, but he was a lot quieter compared to his brother.
The Earthling Saiyan descended, his boots set firmly on the ground before he lifted his arms in the air and stretched briefly. “Here it is!” - he thought to himself, before stepping inside. He could only hope that either no one would be around, or that hopefully, Natto himself would be there so that they could resume their training.

The second Cornatto stepped into the Soy Training Hall, the young saiyan boy was already there, sitting in the edge of the tiled floor in a sloopy and cocky fashion. The brat smirked with the side of his mouth and stared at the tail less saiyan in front of him, chuckling in a rather teasing tone. ”Hey handicapped saiyan, what the hell are you doing here again?” and there he was, being rude again, as he always was with Cornatto. Once he said that he got back to his feet, standing on top of the tiled floor and folded his small arms, chuckling a tad bit more.
”My dad has more important things to do other than train a piece of shit like you. Why are you even on the Alliance, anyway? Wearing those stupid earthling clothes? I bet you can’t even turn into a super saiyan like that! Hehehehe!” the kid continued to tease him, trying to get under Cornatto’s skin. Natto was late, but he usually was because of the huge amount of duties he had to fulfill being the Overseer of the Alliance and, especially during its first years, it was quite troublesome to make such different saiyans, all with different backgrounds and personality to settle with a common, peaceful goal.
The Earthling Saiyan stepped inside the building, with the hope that the fellow Saiyan, and also the leader of the Alliance would be there but by no means, he could have ever imagined that there’d be someone else other than Natto. Even if, honestly, he should have considering he had encountered the little kid last time he had trained with Natto in the Training Halls of the Soy Arts as well. And unfortunately, he couldn’t say that he appreciated his presence most of the time.
It was Nasu, the son of Natto. Admittedly, he didn’t know at times if he had to take his insults as jokes or seriously, either way, he couldn’t certainly be annoyed more than so just by a kid’s words. He could only try to be as friendly as possible, but it didn’t usually work. It was a tad strange. If Nasu didn’t look just like his father, he would have never guessed that they’d be father and son, not at all. His father was more of a kind person, but maybe Nasu didn’t exactly inherit the behavior and all from Natto but just the looks. If he remembered correctly, Natto also had some evil brother or something-- so maybe Nasu had inherited his character from Natto’s ancestors or stuff like that? He didn’t know. Cornatto wasn’t certainly aware of how genetics even worked. But come on, he was just a kid tossing bad words; it couldn’t be so bad-- could it?
Cornatto didn’t even notice him at first until the child spoke up-- which had Cornatto react to just like one of those Japanese manga characters who would suddenly be surprised and shout out things like; ‘I-impossible!!’-- or stuff like that. Just less dramatically! The Tailless Saiyan froze on the spot for a brief moment, taking note of Nasu before he sighed to himself and cracked a faint smile on his face.
“Yo, Nasu! Heh… Happy to see ya again, too! I’ve come here to train with your dad.” - he replied, his gaze shifting in the whereabouts before looking at him again. “It looks like he’s not here yet, though. Guess I’ll have to wait. And, uh, what’cha up to?”
The Earthling Saiyan somewhat expected what Nasu’s answer would have been; it wasn’t that difficult to guess it after all. Not to mention that they were in the training halls, so it was pretty much evident that Nasu was probably training. Either that or he was waiting for Natto as well, but he assumed it was likely his first thought; Nasu possessed an impressive battle power for his age, and by what he could sense, it seemed that it had increased slightly too. Despite his bad behavior, he knew that the kid was committed to his training-- even the last time he found him there training with a simulation.
Cornatto wished that he could have made us of such stuff when he was about his age, and while at his age he had no idea as to how one could even sense another’s ki. He was pretty sure that his power level was nowhere as high as Nasu’s; which was not only a natural talent but also the results of the kid’s training. He guessed that Natto was proud of his son.
Nasu then stood up and folded his arms in sort of a cocky and arrogant manner, like usual, and threw more insults at the Saiyan; while the kid had evidently gotten somewhat stronger. It seemed that he was just as rude as that one time when Natto introduced him to the basics of the Soy martial arts. Then again, Nasu was still just a kid, and he might be behaving like that just because he was way too excited about fighting, or so Natto mentioned.
And, he could believe that; Saiyan children were usually more energetic than earthling ones-- and in most cases, they could be tough to handle. Cornatto himself was a lot more playful and all, even if he could barely remember a thing about when he was a child; it had just been so long, but he wasn’t like Nasu all right. Not to mention that his father would have likely beat him down pretty badly if he were to act like that to him, but he was pretty sure that Nasu himself was respectful to Natto. On the other hand, though, he didn’t remember Komatsu being as savage as his brother-- maybe that was because he was more like the mother? He guessed so.
He tilted his head slightly, not entirely sure about what sort of connection he made between his presence in the Alliance, his earthling clothes, and the Super Saiyan transformation. It probably had to do with the whole not looking like a Saiyan without armor, to which Cornatto disagreed even if he could understand what the point was. Natto himself told him that once he didn’t feel like he’ fit in earthling attire, something that he could respect; everyone wore what he preferred after all. For combat, the Earthling Saiyan liked to wear this traditional martial arts outfit-- he didn’t feel comfortable putting on armor or even a scouter.
Plus, he could finally turn into a Super Saiyan himself. If only had made that statement earlier, he could not have been wrong at all; Cornatto had only recently tapped into the power, and while he could control it, he had not mastered its power at all. But there was still a huge difference between his battle power in his base form and the one he bestowed as a Super Saiyan. But, he didn’t certainly think that he could rely only on the power of the legendary form, no. He wanted to go beyond his limits and increase his battle power more than ever.
“Uhh. I was born on Earth, that’s why I wear these clothes. As a matter of fact, I joined the Alliance like when we were still on Earth, and the idea of a place where the Saiyan could live peacefully without all that Empire stuff was kind of interesting, too!”

Nasu indeed had taken his personality from his saiyan family, more specifically his late grandmother, Natto’s mother and his uncle and aunt, all saiyans who were part of the Empire and held a grudge against Natto’s pacific ways. Tamari, Natto’s mother, even went as far as to entirely forfeit her own son and, if it wasn’t for his father, Douchi, Natto may have died back when he came back from his first planet conquering mission, sustaining some severe injuries. In any case, Nasu looked like the spitting image of Natto, but behaved nothing like his kind and gentle father. Still, he wasn’t a slacker and didn’t take his position as son of the Overseer for granted. The kid trained a lot and, although he bragged to be an elite, he was actually stronger than most members of the Saiyan Alliance, even though he was still a little kid.
Nasu pouted when Cornatto spoke to him in a carefree manner as it angered him to see goofy saiyans his father brought from Earth. Nasu though they brought shame to the Alliance, and he was already planning to prove himself to his father in the future. ”I will conquer a planet!” he usually thought, alien to the fact that it would only get him severely scolded for such a behavior: the Alliance was nothing like the Empire, and it desired no conquest, no war, but peace for the saiyan race.
”I know why you are here, idiot! That’s obvious! You need training because you are a weakling! And you waste my dad’s time with this pitiful worthless job of training you! If you had any pride, you would just leave!” the kid’s tone was harsh and he seemed rather annoyed by Cornatto. He seemed further annoyed when the older Saiyan said that he was born on Earth and that he liked the idea of peace.
”Earth… Such a boring place! I’m glad I’ve never been there! And you should hate it too! After all, you all were kicked out of the place by that bitch of a Kami! If I had a saying in that, we should take revenge on them and destroy her house, just like she did with the old headquarters! But no… You all want this stupid peace! You know what, this sickens me! I won’t train near a slacker like you!” he said in an angered manner as he hopped from the tiled floor. Still, before he could leave, the door opened once again and it was Natto.
Nasu widened his eyes, surprised with the sudden appearance of his father: he didn’t have his scouter on and he had no ability regarding ki sensing or anything. Natto had a serious expression on his face and glared at Nasu, who seemed a little scared now. ”Nasu, are you bullying Corn again?” he asked in a harsh, patronizing way. Nasu gulped and a drop of cold sweat ran down his temple and he shook his head. ”N-no! I was just asking what he was doing here, right?!” he lied, and then stared at Cornatto, hoping he wouldn’t sell him out. Natto also stared at Cornatto, wanting to hear his version of it.
Both Natto and Corn apparently came from similar families, so to say, considering even the Earthling Saiyan’s parents were pretty much like most traditionalist Saiyans out there; for the one thing that mattered the most for them was pride, and such wasn’t something that Cornatto could comprehend at all. And while his dad usually seemed disgusted from his son’s lack of character, on the other hand, his mother had always been somewhat passive about the whole thing; she didn’t usually question her son’s kind nature, even if Cornatto was more playful than kind back then when he was a child. He always used to try and enjoy himself, even if there was no reason to. And probably that was all his mother cared about; for her son to grow healthily and happily, while his dad likely expected to raise a prideful Saiyan warrior, but that wasn’t how things went at all.
Cornatto didn’t usually give the matter too much importance, even if he guessed that it could have been because of how they had raised him; they didn't put him into an incubator in the first place. Not to mention that Earth was an entirely different thing from Vegeta and likely influenced on the child without him realizing it. Again, this subject wasn’t usually one he liked to dwell about, mostly because a question would often arise; what if he had grown up differently? Would he have been like ‘those’ people on Vegeta? The idea terrified him, and made his stomach twist and screw itself all over again. Maybe he was exaggerating, but it was the truth. Though, his parents had never been as extreme as Natto’s, especially because they had not much of a choice other than moving on Earth-- else things could have as well gone differently. The family, so to say, grew up rather quietly on the blue marble.
At times he wondered what they would have thought if they were to see him now; much stronger, and a Super Saiyan too. Not to mention that he had technically made the decision of joining a group of Saiyans that wasn’t anything like the Empire but rather one with a peaceful goal, something that probably not everyone was completely fine with, and that was understandable; there were lots of different people within the Alliance, after all. One of them seemed to be Nasu himself, the son of the Overseer, which was a little tad strange. He’d have likely expected for him to at least approve of his father’s doings, or maybe he did but didn’t like the way he did it?
He didn’t know.
There was only so much he knew about them, after all. Natto was a good man, but he was aware that he could also be pretty serious in certain situations, and that included parenting as well. But it made sense. As much of a gentle person Cornatto was, he could see the point in educating his children to behave and be not fearful but at least aware of a parent’s voice; the Earthling Saiyan himself had to go through quite a lot with his father whenever he wouldn’t listen to him. But it was definitely for the best.
“Pride, huh?” - he thought to himself, folding his arms over his chest as he tilted his head slightly for a brief moment.
“...Why’d ya ask if you knew, then?” - asked the man. However, he probably expected his relaxed attitude to only anger him more than he wasn’t already. Again, not like he was doing it on purpose, it was just his nature.
The kid didn’t seem to particularly appreciate the knowledge that the man had given to him. Apparently, he wasn’t particularly fond of the man’s homeworld; and maybe there was a little bit of reason with that, Cornatto himself agreed that the Kami’s reasoning to just kick the Saiyans off the planet was somewhat exaggerate. --Actually, it was total crap. They could have just continued their endeavors there without disturbing anyone, but she was probably troubled because of the invasion. Still, he missed his planets and the ones who inhabited it. They were genuine people, all of them, aside from what had happened with the Kami, whom he barely knew but she probably just cared for her planet. Nothing to blame her for, she just wanted to protect her world.
However, Nasu’s idea of destroying her house-- the Lookout was definitely off the charts; he didn’t know what the others thought about it, but he was sure that most of the Councilors and Natto himself would have profoundly disagreed, and so did Cornatto. No need to further tense their relation with the planet, not to mention that at that point they were pretty much settled. The Alliance had managed to find a new world, and everyone was content with it; Cornatto too. “Earth isn’t that bad y’know, maybe you’d pay it a visit later on. Just… don’t go around and mess with Kami’s stuff.” - he said, chuckling a bit before watching hop off the ground, apparently about to leave. He wasn’t going to hold him from leaving or not, at that point he was just waiting for Natto.
“Well, see ya’ then!”
However, before Nasu could go anywhere, his father had just arrived; and sooner than what Cornatto had expected at that point, but at least he had managed to come before Nasu could start another fight like last time. But, just like that one time, Natto was once more glaring at his son and asking for whatever he was up to in the training hall, funnily enough, the kid immediately backed down and lied about what he had been doing in the training room that far. Then, it was apparently up to Cornatto whether having Natto punish his son or not and while maybe he deserved it, Cornatto wasn’t that kind of person.
The man cracked a smile, lifting up a hand in greeting towards Natto. “Yo, Natto! Haha, good to see ya. And no, Nasu wasn’t doing anything. He just asked me what I had come here for, that's all. So, how have you been doing?”

Nasu pouted once again when he told him not to mess with Kami’s stuff, and before Natto arrived, he found time to answer him in a insolent way. ”I do what I want, asshole!” and this behavior of his just further frightened him when his father arrived, as he knew for sure he wouldn’t like to know he was bullying on Cornatto again. Nasu didn’t understand why his father saw that excuse of a saiyan as a friend, but he did anyway, but then, against all the odds, Cornatto didn’t sell him out and, instead, helped cover what really happened. Nasu was quite surprised by that, but then he turned his attention to his father, and Natto sighed in relief and even managed to crack a gentle smile in his face. ”Then I’m glad. Anyway, if you want to stay and watch, Nasu, you are welcome, but now dad and Corn here need to train! Hehe!” he said in a kind tone, and Nasu shook his head. ”I will pass. I will be going somewhere to train! I’m an elite, I can’t slack off!” he said with a fiery determination in his tone.
Natto found that quite amusing and chuckled. ”Alright, my elite boy! Do your best!” and Nasu nodded, smirking with the corner of his mouth in a both arrogant and satisfied fashion. As the boy began to leave the place, with his tail swaying from one side to the other, he briefly paused beside Cornatto and whispered so only they would hear. ”This changes nothing, you cripple!” he said in a rather mean tone, before leaving the Soy Training Hall, leaving only Cornatto and Natto there.
When asked about what he was doing, Natto sighed and touched his forehead, closing his eyes in an annoyed way. ”Man, I’m beat! In all honesty, I’m not smart enough to rule! If it wasn’t for Tomo, Karota and Totoma I would be wrecked! Too much brain activity, and my brain was made to fight!” he complained with a chagrin tone. ”I would rather face the wrath of Kami or the Queen than to face all that paperwork… Such a bother!” he paused to sigh and then a smile appeared on his face as he opened his eyes once again to stare back at Cornatto, chuckling in excitement. ”That’s why I was looking forward for this training!! Man! I could really use some time away from all that bother!! Hehehe! I truly hate to exercise my brain other than to think about a better way to fight! I guess I’m more of a saiyan than I thought, in the end! Hahahaha!” he admitted in a jokingly yet honest tone, shrugging a bit as he did so.
Nasu was one difficult to deal with, and he couldn’t exactly understand why he had to be like that. All right, it was kind of evident that he had directly taken the behavior of a real Saiyan, but he didn’t quite understand how he could act like despite the fact that there were no one else but allies. The thing Cornatto didn’t realize is that both of them were entirely different-- and he didn’t understand it because he was still a kid, and kids could easily be just as troublesome as Nasu. Little the Earthling Saiyan knew that the very same kid would have then caused a lot of trouble on Earth and that he’d likely understand it only later just how different Nasu was from other kinder Saiyans that he had the pleasure to meet. His father included, most of them were earthlings, but there were also some nice people on Planet Natto, too!
However, where he lacked in manners, he guessed that he was decent enough when it came to battle power for his age; Cornatto was nowhere as strong, and it wasn’t just a matter of whether who trained more intensely than the other, no.
The Earthling Saiyan was naturally born with a weak power, or well, nothing too exceptional at least. Both his parents were low-class soldiers who were barely even a quarter worthy of the power that the Saiyan bestowed recently; that even reached the peak of the race’s limits and managed to ascend to the level of a Super Saiyan. And from there, he took quite a while to grow even higher than what was three-quarters of his current power. But that Nasu was that strong already was no surprise! After all, he was the son of two of the most powerful warriors in the galaxy; it couldn’t be any different.
However, while Nasu acted pretty harshly towards the blue-dressed Saiyan, he was pretty much docile to his father, which was kind of obvious but always kind of a surprise to notice how different Nasu acted in front of his father. It was almost like he suddenly turned into a different kid; and while it’d have been fair for Cornatto to spill it and tell Natto that Nasu was having another of his moments where he’d catch an attitude with the Earthling Saiyan, he wasn’t that type of person. One would have likely sold Nasu off so that Natto could give him a Super Saiyan Three spanking, but Cornatto was more generous than he’d have probably been, and as such, he decided to keep his mouth shut in regards to Nasu’s bad words and lied too. And Natto seemed to believe the Saiyan’s words thankfully, for Nasu that was. Else it could have been quite awkward.
Either way, Nasu was nowhere interested in remaining there for the training like he did last time and left so that he could train himself. However, before going, he passed by Cornatto who gave him a sideways glance, raising an eyebrow as he whispered low enough for only the two to hear. And he couldn’t help but let out a chuckle, with that usual goofy smile of his.
“Implying I thought it would have.” - he whispered back, folding his arms over his chest. He didn’t naturally expect his act even to be taken into consideration by Nasu, even if Cornatto had just saved him from one of the strongest men in the galaxy with a little lie. But at last, he left the two alone-- one of which, Natto, replied to Corn’s question in a rather frustrated way. He could imagine how it could be for Natto having to rule all of that, but at the same time, he had no idea of how the Saiyan could keep it all together. The Earthling Saiyan himself wasn’t fit at all for things such as ruling and all of that; he wouldn’t even know where to begin if he were in his place. Thankfully he could count on more than a few people who were probably more fit for that kind of work than Natto was-- and admittedly, Cornatto himself considered paperwork to be annoying.
“Damn, man. You sure sound like you mean it. Maybe you’d see if you can afford yourself a little break sometime!” - said the man, and while he somewhat expected what Natto would have answered-- basically that he couldn’t-- it was still worth suggesting! He would never likely have to go through as much as Natto had to do for the Alliance, but he felt like he’d probably need to take a few days off work after a little while! Just like Natto said, that sort of brain activity wasn’t typical for them to handle. Not to mention that Cornatto thought it was boring too!
He had to say, though, that his comment on the Kami and the Queen made him snicker a little; that’d have probably been better than paperwork, at least that would have likely ended up in a fight! Yes, much better than paperwork all right. And it made him somewhat smile when Natto admitted that he was looking forward to their training because so did Cornatto, not only he wanted to get stronger but he admired the fellow Saiyan for his power! Training with him was the best thing he could have asked.
“Haha! Well, having to face the Queen sounds much better than sitting at some desk all right. But yeah, I’ve been looking forward to this a lot myself. We both are Saiyans all right, hah.” - replied the man before lowering himself into the fighting stance that Natto had shown him last time they had sparred; his knees bent, a half-clenched fist placed close to his face, and his other arm bent at 90° degree close to his body. Cornatto cracked a grin in excitement, evidently impatient for the spar to commence.

Natto chuckled a bit and a teasing smirk in the corner of his mouth cracked as he slid into his fighting stance, with the knees slightly bent, his right arm tightly close to his torso with the fist clenched, while the left hand was in front of his body, index and middle finger slightly bent, this was the main Soy School stance and the one Natto learned a bit with his father and a bit with his own experience, and then further updated it when he learned Karota’s style. Speaking of which, the saiyaness was there, although unable to be sensed as she was a master of Ki Suppression and managed to keep it down to a level not even the best sensor could detect. In any case, Natto chuckled a bit more after getting into his stance. ”So… I’ve heard you managed to reach a new power… And I know you know what I’m talking about, so… Why don’t you show, me? Cornatto? The Power of a Super Saiyan and then, perhaps, I can also teach you how to fully control it and, thus, harness the true power and potential of this form!” he said and, once he finished, Natto flared his ghostly white ki aura, but that color was short lived.
In the blink of a second, his aura turned bright golden and his power level skyrocketed. His hair bristled and grew spiked and his eyes became teal as he ascended to a fully powered super saiyan form. The sheer power of this basic transformation had been enough to crack the tiled floor of the Soy Training Hall, showing just how powerful Natto truly was.
[Super Saiyan Full Power. Power Level: 8,960,000]
Natto’s super saiyan form was stronger than a normal newly transformed super saiyan two was and it showed just how much he grew. Natto, similarly to Cornatto, was born in a mid to lower tier family of warriors, with his mother’s Power Level, the greatest of his family not even reaching the mark of 10,000. Still, he managed to overcome all his limitations through pure effort. Unlike his kids, Natto was born with a feeble power level of only 1,800. Which just barely put him on the middle class. Some people are gifted, that is true, but gifted people are easily surpassed by those who train hard and dedicate themselves into polishing their skill and mind.
Up there, in the roof of the Soy Training Hall, Karota smirked. ”Let’s see how Cornatto handles that…” she thought to herself, thrilled to see their training and also to see how much Natto improved in his teaching abilities after her teachings.
The Earthling Saiyan remained in the Soy fighting stance, the one that Natto himself taught him that other time, as he watched the fellow Saiyan himself lowering down in that position. It was something that Cornatto took a little bit to get used to, and while he wasn’t still completely smooth with it. It was quite obvious to see that he had taken to heart the man’s teachings; he had been nearly using most of the time he fought someone, growing always more attached to the fighting style of the Soy school.
Cornatto was excited more than he had ever been lately for this spar; even more than the time he fought that Anubian guy, who was certainly strong, but not as powerful as Natto could have ever been. His power was something that the Earthling Saiyan looked up to as an objective-- a goal that he wanted to reach to get stronger and then use that strength for the greater good, something that he had set himself to do ever since he left planet Earth with the guys of the Alliance. It was pretty much something weird as to how a bunch of Saiyans could ever aspire for something peaceful indeed, but it was what interested the blue-dressed Saiyan in the first place. He wasn’t interested in the wicked ways of the Empire, it just didn’t suit him as a person, and probably that’s how Natto felt too. Even if he had no idea as to how he could endure even a day in the Empire-- maybe it had something to do with being a Commander or something like that. He didn’t know if they treated him differently or maybe he just had a wrong idea of the Saiyan society, but however they treated each other, he couldn’t stand their actions at all.
They had not only harmed the Earth but the system of the Kolds, and that was only a small part of all their barbarities throughout the centuries; most would say that at best they had conquered planets somewhere in Free Space, where it wouldn’t affect anyone, but did it make any difference? Obviously not. They still hurt living beings carelessly and at times even enjoying it, and Cornatto was glad that they had sent his family to Earth, though-- at least he didn’t end up like some of the Saiyans that he had encountered. Nor would he have liked to go through what Natto had to so that he’d realize the Empire’s evil ways and create the Reborn Saiyan Alliance.
It was just so strange that someone as nice as Natto could have been not only part of the Empire but one of their strongest warriors! If he hadn’t told him beforehand the day they met, he would have never believed it. Saiyans believed that the kind members of their species were the weakest because of their inability to embrace their ruthless self, but such was incorrect, and one just had to look at how many good Saiyans were part of the Saiyans, and to the number of the good-hearted Super Saiyans around.
Speaking of the legendary transformation, it seemed that Natto had somehow learned of the Earthling Saiyan’s recent ascension to the form, and it made him smirk a little. If Natto wanted Cornatto to show him the power he bestowed in his powered up form and while it could boost the Saiyan up to an incredible level, he had a few doubts that it’d still be nowhere as powerful as Natto’s own. However, he was quite interested in the Saiyan’s offer; his power was still raw and used up a lot of stamina, not to mention that he couldn’t exactly control his emotions rather well in the transformed form but he was sure that Natto could lend him a hand with that. “Really? Haha, that’d be awesome!” - replied the man, about to turn into a Super Saiyan but before he moved an inch, his eyes suddenly widened as he felt Natto’s power sparking up. In the beginning, it looked like he was only powering up by his aura, but it suddenly switched to a fiery golden and then the fellow’s power ascended even further; leaving Cornatto to stare in awe.
He sure knew that Natto was powerful, considering he wasn’t only a Super Saiyan but one who had managed to break the Super Saiyan wall-- but that power was incredible! And he was just in the first stage of the legendary transformation; how far could he ever go if he were to turn even further beyond than this?
“A-a-amazing!” - exclaimed the man in disbelief.
However, no way this was going to demoralize Cornatto. On the other hand, his eyes sparked with a burning fire; he was excited! He’d always get like that whenever he had to face such a strong fighter. And so, the Earthling Saiyan regained his composure and bent his knees slightly, both his fists closed as he assumed a power up stance. The power difference was quite evident despite the fact that Cornatto had not successfully turned yet, one only had to see how none of the tiles had lifted up aside from some debris, but regardless of that, his power wasn’t something to laugh at either.
He clenched his teeth, his physique surging with power as he unleashed a primal growl as he unleashed a golden aura; his hair turning blonde and his ear into bright, green eyes.
By the time his power sparked up to about two million of battle power, his golden aura had exploded and flared around the Saiyan brightly; he had transformed into a Super Saiyan. But it was still obvious that he hadn’t managed to master the form yet; his eyes weren’t teal like Natto’s, not to mention that his power output was nothing compared to Natto.

“This is me as a Super Saiyan… I still can’t control this very good, though.” - he said, and probably Natto had the chance to see this the moment he transformed. Not only he didn’t possess the characteristics of a Super Saiyan Full Power, but he also took a minute or so to change form, while Natto could manage to switch from his base form to the one of a golden warrior quite quickly.

Natto seemed quite hyped for their spar, despite the huge difference in between their power levels. In truth, he liked how bold Cornatto was, never hesitating before battling a strong foe, and that was something he deeply admired. When the earthling saiyan ascended, it was clear he had just recently acquired that form and he still needed a lot of practice with it and, although Natto could teach him to further empower it without much polishing, meaning, teaching him to reach second or third grade, he wanted him to achieve full mastery of it, in order to become a fully powered super saiyan, or a mastered super saiyan, as he preferred to call it.
”Nice work reaching this form, Corn! But… Honestly, you will be tired in no time with just how much energy you are wasting to sustain this form alone! You see… The first super saiyan form and the forms directly above it are flawed in a sense they devour your ki reserves and your stamina.” Natto said, making his aura completely vanish, but without reducing his power level at all, showing just how much control over it he had. ”So… In order to make you control this transformation, you need to try and calm your heart! I now the rage burns hot in this form! Believe me, but you need to chill out! Also… Try to suppress your power level while on this form!” Natto said, chuckling a bit. ”Once you do that, you will allow your body to properly use the super saiyan ki, and this will enhance your power way beyond a normal super saiyan form. This is the first step into the path of the many super saiyan forms, and I’m sure you are capable of doing that! I will guide you, now try. Once you manage to accomplish this, we can spar!” he said, making a brief nod.
Natto wanted him stronger so that the training could be way more productive. Cornatto still needed a lot of classes in order to become a true master of the Soy School style, but if he could manage to maximize the usability of his power, those training sessions would be not only more productive, but much more fun.
Natto wasn’t the only one hyped for this training; the Earthling Saiyan had been waiting for this for quite a while. Not only he wanted to learn the secrets of the Soy Arts, but he also wanted to get much stronger and have fun! And he was sure that as long as he was going to train with Natto, that’d have been quite easy to achieve! The man was ridiculously strong and pointless to say that instead of intimidating Cornatto, his power only made him wanting to fight him even more! If the Earthling Saiyan could seriously get any stronger than that by following Natto’s advice on the Super Saiyan, then he’d be damned if he weren’t to, it was probably the best he could have ever asked.
He thought the same as Natto; not only their training would have then given more results but also manage to entertain both of the Saiyans at it, despite the fact that Natto was more or less four times stronger than Cornatto. And while he was aware of the existence of the following forms of the Super Saiyan stage, he wasn’t aware of the difference between a Super Saiyan and a Mastered one; but thankfully Natto was going to explain him that.
The Saiyan stared at the fellow warrior, listening to him intently as he spoke of the stamina cost that would come everytime the Saiyan switched to his elevated state. And he wasn’t wrong at all, to be honest, Cornatto didn’t directly notice, but he usually felt a greater power weight on his shoulder every time he’d stay as a Super Saiyan for a prolonged time. It was probably the drawback that the stamina cost put on him, and that couldn’t be good at all in a fight-- especially a long one.
“So, this one and the forms beyond the first level of Super Saiyan eat up your energies? I had no idea… but you’re right. I can feel it right now-- I guess it wasn’t something I paid much attention to, but I can feel it-- even if I ain’t doing anything right now.” - replied the man, looking down at himself for a brief moment. It wasn’t a very quick and noticeable process, especially since the Saiyan was just standing somewhere, but he could feel his energies slowly being drained by the legendary transformation. Was that the cost of maintaining such incredible strength? Which-- honestly, it wasn’t even that great if he had to compare it with the fellow Saiyan’s powered up form; but he had clearly gotten through all of this mastered Super Saiyan deal already.
Then, the man snapped out of his thoughts once he felt something unusual; or rather, had seen Natto making his aura fade away almost as if it was child’s play, and yet Cornatto wasn’t able to. Or rather, not without a good five minutes or so when it’d go off itself without him noticing. The man had managed to grasp a pretty good control over the form, and that was likely a step necessary if the man wanted to surpass the Super Saiyan One and reach forms such as Super Saiyan Two or even further beyond. It wasn’t probably going to be easy, nor did Cornatto have a clear idea as to how he could achieve those two forms, but he believed he’d have gotten the hang of it sooner or later!
Natto explained the whole deal as to how the way to control the golden form was basically to get the better over his rage and feelings themselves that burst the Saiyan into achieving that power in the first place. But he could see sense into that; without calming himself down, it’d have been impossible for him to harness all of his ki. “Lower down my power level, huh?... Well, that sounds easier than what it is.” - added the man, frowning down as he folded his arms over his chest.
He seemed to be getting somewhat focused; not meditative and all of that but likely trying to make sense out of the man’s words. For him to suppress his power level had been something relatively easy since he had been taught by a good old friend how to do that, but yet it was still difficult for him to do that as a Super Saiyan. It felt like the only thing he could do in that form was just surging more power through his body, and thus losing, even more, the control over his mind as great emotions such as rage would quickly take over. Even if there wasn’t usually no reason to get angry after the first time, it was what it felt like; his soul screamed with rage and it wouldn’t ever come to a stop.
“Calm my heart…” - he had muttered under his breath before he decided to give it a try! He closed his eyes, his arms still folded over his chest as he wanted to make himself feel comfortable or anyways relaxed; apparently, he didn’t believe so, but still it was worth a shot. As his eyes were closed, Natto would likely notice the fact that his power level wasn’t going either down nor up, it was probably a stale situation-- although his aura seemed to be flaking every now and then. The Earthling Saiyan was attempting something, although his power level didn’t change at all-- until his aura suddenly disappeared and with that, also the Super Saiyan looks as the man reverted to his base form.
“Uh, did I do it? I do kinda feel calm now.” - he thought to himself.
He blinked for a few moments until he realized what had just happened. He burst out in a faint laughter, rubbing the back of his neck. “Oopsie! I guess I just calmed down way too much, haha.” - exclaimed the man before turning into a Super Saiyan once more, his power that had previously lowered down, once more returned to where it was standing earlier. "I'm gonna try again!"

Natto nodded and chuckled. ”They do! They eat your stamina like crazy. I know it’s hard to feel it when the adrenaline is rushing through our veins once we transform, but once you revert back you will be exhausted and, on top of all that, it will become much harder to sustain it.” he said, pausing for a brief second. ”Once you reach mastery over the form, you can sustain it even in our sleep, since it doesn’t consume your stamina at all. It becomes much more easy to excel in using up your energies, since you can dedicate them all to the fight, maximizing the efficiency of your whole body. You will become more resistant and stronger too, so it’s a complete win-win situation.” Natto further explained and more than that, his form was already showing it by itself: he had no aura flared around his body, his hair wasn’t that bright gold, but a much “whiter” version of it, and even his expression didn’t seem all that angered, like a normal super saiyan was.
”And truth be told…” he started again, raising his right index finger, as if he wanted to make an observation. ”The second and third grade state are much heavier on your stamina. They will leave you entirely drained once your adrenaline is over.” and that was a very important observation to make, and that would help guide Cornatto as to which road he would rather follow. Natto knew he was completely capable of attaining mastery over the form and thus he believed it was a waste of time for him to go toward the other path, and, as he had expected, that was precisely what he was aiming for, and Natto chuckled in excitement, carefully watching the earthling saiyan.
Then, to is surprise, Cornatto ended up reverting back to his base form and, after a second shocked, Nasu laughed out loud, holding his belly with his hands. ”Hahahaha! Don’t do it like that! Don’t let go of your energy! You need to keep your power up, but without wasting any more energy. And you need to calm down without reverting back. Think of your super saiyan form as a base form, but a stronger base form, and that’s the kind of feeling you will need to reach, alright? I know you can do it! I can sense the potential in you! Hahaha!” and he was being completely honest: Cornatto could definitely do it.
It was some outcome the one that Cornatto had managed to pull off; not only he didn’t manage what Natto asked him to do, but Cornatto thought that he had succeeded until he took a closer look at himself and his battle power. Honestly, the Earthling Saiyan thought that he had managed to control his Super Saiyan form at first, but that was until the man realized that he didn’t feel stronger at all, but on the other hand, his power had weakened since he had reverted to his base form. And without him noticing, too! It was something that only Cornatto could have managed to pull so carelessly and still to laugh off it; nor did he blame Natto for laughing, it was pretty hilarious indeed!
But again, his laughter aside, he tried to gather as many information as possible from what Natto told him. For him not to let go of his energy was something that he had learned to do by relying on his anger, which he had to contain but at the same time never calmed it down, else he’d quickly lose his power and switch back to his base form. That is why he turned back into his black-haired Saiyan form earlier, he wasn't exactly sure as to how he could execute what Natto requested him to do, but he was obviously going to give it a try! He had just started, and that little fail didn’t certainly discourage him, it would have taken much more than that before the Saiyan were to call it a day. Plus, Natto was trying to encourage him a bit, too! He appreciated that, but he also he wanted to have a spar him, and they weren’t going to until Cornatto would have got a hold of this Mastered Super Saiyan stuff.
“Super Saiyan as a base form, huh?... Well, y’know what? That sounds kind of simple now!” - exclaimed the man, and he had to say, that the idea of thinking it like that kind of helped him imagine how he’d have thought of it as. More or less as if the golden form was nothing more than his actual power and not just a transformation-- if that were the case, then that would mean that his heart would be calm! Or so he guessed at least-- he couldn’t think of other ways he could view this whole thing like.
Even if he had to say, the news that stages superior to the first Super Saiyan transformations were even more taxing on the body was kind of disappointing to hear! As much as he didn’t bother trying to control the transformation earlier, mostly because he had no idea it would come with such benefits, he didn’t like how tiring he felt after turning into a Super Saiyan. Without even fighting! Almost as if just staying in the form was a continuous draining of energy and stamina, and it wasn’t certainly going to help Cornatto in a fight. Not at all! He needed a form that he could rely on for longer fights than one's usual training spars; if the transformation were to use up all of his energies, then it'd have just been a double-edged sword to him.
While, in the terms that Natto used; the Super Saiyan Full Power sounded like some sort of blessing if one could even sleep in that form. Cornatto didn’t really see the sense into why one would even sleep as a Super Saiyan in the first place, but he understood what he meant; he needed to reach that level. No matter what, he was definitely going to do it this time! The Earthling Saiyan lowered his head for a brief moment as he closed his eyes and tried to focus for once.
What was he going to do? Try to expand the usage of power output and make use of the second and third-grade forms or try to master it first? He didn’t feel like going for such a useless upgrade like the Second or Third Grade form, he had heard them before and by what Natto had just confirmed him; they were extremely taxing and not worth it in the end. Not to mention that he wanted to get rid of the rage burning in his heart; he wanted to be his normal self. And that is when Cornatto then, tried to suppress his power but this time not by letting go of the power that the transformation granted him; but this time, imagining that he was actually in his base form already. However, what he imagined in his mind wasn’t an image of himself in his black-haired appearance but rather the one in his Super Saiyan form, but at the same time, he tried to feel as if he had not even transformed into a Super Saiyan in the first place. It was a complicated process to describe, and it took more than just five minutes, and Cornatto himself barely knew what he was doing, but it felt like it was working; his power level was slowly lowering, but he was still capable of maintaining the Super Saiyan form.
He could feel that angsty feeling of sorts fading away deep down within his heart; he was calming down, but this time without having to revert to his actual base form. His aura itself wasn’t just as bright as earlier before it completely vanished, however Cornatto was still transformed! It didn’t take much other than a few moments for him to open his eyes, his softened features curiously looking at himself before he lifted up both his arms.
[Super Saiyan Full Power | Power Level: 2.561.376]
The man stared at both his arms for a brief moment before he tightened his fists tightly and brought them back down as he unleashed an even greater power than before! He could feel it; he was calm and not only that but he had managed to break through the limitations that had been restraining him up until that moment.
Cornatto remained silent for a moment before he grinned, his eyes now sparkling with happiness. “Wooohooo!! I did it! Hahaha, this is awesome!” - exclaimed the man in triumph. Then, he glanced at Natto, smirking a bit.
“Thanks for helping me with this, man. I didn’t know I could still release all this power! Now, I guess we can get our spar going?”

Natto’s smile widened when he seemed to finally understand how to work on the Super Saiyan Full Power form and the Saiyan Overseer couldn’t even wait for him to reach it in order for them to train. Of course the boost in power wouldn’t be so impressive that would allow Cornatto to fight toe to toe with Natto, but it would still be considerable, and make this sparring session last for more than a second, without Natto having to hold back a hell lot. Especially because the new technique he was about to learn was very taxing in the body and could easily knock him out if Cornatto wasn’t careful enough.
After a few moments trying to control his energy, Cornatto managed to make his ki aura vanish without reverting back to his normal base form. His hair was much whiter in tone and his feeling of rage vanished. Natto chuckled a bit, making an approving nod with his head, feeling quite proud of his earthling saiyan friend. ”See? I knew you could do it! Hahaha! I knew it!” he said in a rather excited tone. ”So, how does it feel to have reached the true mastery over your super saiyan form? Pretty sweet, isn’t it?! Hehehe!” he said and Cornatto responded by saying it was pretty awesome and thanking him for helping him out, to which Natto shook his head. ”You don’t have to thank me for that. That was the very least I could do! You helped me out with building this new society for our kin, and for that I will be forever grateful, my friend! So… Let’s cut the talk and start throwing punches, alright?!” and his happy and goofy smile vanished to that of a warrior’s smirk.
It was funny how much Natto changed when he was getting into battle. The gentle and kind saiyan leader was indeed a fierce warrior who loved to fight, he just lacked the bloodlust and cruelty of the normal saiyans. ”To tell you the truth, Corn, there was another reason I wanted you to learn to control your power! The next technique of the Soy School requires quite a lot of control over your own ki and aura, and if you couldn’t reach mastery over your super saiyan form, you would have to learn this tech on your base form.” he began explaining. ”I call it the Rebellion Spear because… Well… I used it when I rebelled against the Empire! Hehehe!” and that ended up serving as the base to naming the following technique, but that’s some story for another time. ”To be able to perform the Rebellion Spear, you will need to charge your ki aura like you would charge an energy attack! But not focused in a single place. Instead, you will create a barrier-like energy attack all around your body! Right onto your aura! Like this!” Natto charged his bright golden ki aura and it quickly changed to a light-blue aura that looked quite dangerous, almost like it was a contained energy sphere around his body.
”When you reach this state, you can just charge against your opponent, and hit them with a body slam! Your aura acts as both the tip of a spear and a shield for your body! Pretty handy, isn’t it?! Hehehe!” he said, now giving time for Cornatto to try and do the same, while he sustained the attack.
Stamina 5/5 Using: [IN][OT-2] Rebellion Spear: The user charges a light-blue aura around his body as he strikes a crouching pose. Then, he charges toward the opponent using the blue aura as a shield, inflicting a great amount of damage. [50% Damage]
Cornatto was all fired up! Maybe he was overdoing it, after all, it wasn’t that much of a power boost compared to Natto’s current power level, but he was still happy that he had managed to pull it off-- he did fail once, but one could learn from their mistakes. However, he had to say that he didn’t imagine it to feel that good; it was an entirely different feeling from before, all right! He would have easily mistaken it for his base form if it weren’t for his enhanced power. In the raw form of a Super Saiyan, he was obviously quick to anger and didn’t realize that there was still quite some power that he could make use of but that very same burning soul deep down blinded his senses on the matter. It was almost like he always had a blindfold wrapped around his eyes whenever he’d transform. However, the moment Cornatto managed to calm his heart, he could clearly see through it and tap into that power-- not only that, but he also felt just like he usually did in his base form. And, aside from his aura vanishing, the only difference was his hair that was a little bit whiter than before.
The Earthling Saiyan wasn’t the only who seemed excited about his results; his friend Natto did too, and he had to say although the fact that he didn’t have to thank him. For him to teach Cornatto not only the secrets of the Soy martial arts but also assist him with the Super Saiyan form, he appreciated it. A lot. It would have likely taken him some time for the Saiyan to realize it by himself, he hadn’t ever heard about a thing such as controlling his power like that in that form.
“Man, it feels great! Haha, now I won’t have to look grumpy all the time when I switch forms.” - said the man, letting out a short laugh. It was true, it wasn’t like he’d go around and act all friendly during a fight, but still it was good not having some emotional drift influencing you and your actions. It honestly felt as if he had made the Super Saiyan power as his own, and that was only the beginning of it! Cornatto was looking forward to going even further than the first level-- he was well aware that it would have taken him far more power than the one he currently possessed to even ascend to the next form, but he was going to work hard for it!
“And may the Alliance last long! Hehe.” - he added, and little he knew that it would last quite a while-- but of course, there was no way that he could know that-- it was just a little hope of his.
“Yeah, let’s do this!” - exclaimed the man, his smile of his slowly turning into a smirk, which didn't reflect his kind nature but rather the one of a warrior. The man was sure that he was going to have quite some fun with this one spar. Natto was a pretty strong foe, and it was needless to repeat how easily Cornatto would get excited against more powerful opponents. However, Natto had broken through walls that Cornatto was still far from reaching, he didn’t know how long he could last, but that one time he did manage to hold his ground for quite a while before collapsing. He was confident that he could have done even better this time.
Natto decided to start it off directly with the explanation as to what they were going to cover that day beforehand; another one of his preferred moves by what Natto said; the same one that he had used when he rebelled against the Empire apparently. It somewhat amused Cornatto who chuckled a bit. It was a fitting name; he had to give him that. Then, Natto proceeded to explain further in detail and showcase how the technique worked, and that gave him enough insight as to how it worked. It was more or less like a barrier, but instead of making one for the sole purpose of defending yourself, he also had to use it as a mean to inflict damage upon the opponent through his ki.
Not to mention that the whole thing as to why he needed to master his full power made sense after he was done explaining. After all, he’d have needed complete mastery over his ki in that form, and that’d have not been the case if it weren’t for Natto teaching him how to do that. If he hadn’t, it’d have likely just not worked at all-- either that or maybe cause something worse.
“I see! If I had not gained control over this transformation beforehand, either it’d have not worked, or I’d have likely caused some explosion before I’d even be done charging my energy.” - he commented and stared at the fellow Saiyan intently as he made sure that he had seen everything he could out of the technique Natto had just shown him.
Cornatto let out a faint chuckle and nodded. “Heehee, yeah! It sounds pretty handy-- I’ll give it a try right away.” - said the man before he bent both his arms at a 90° degree, and with both his fists clenched. His own bright and golden ki aura suddenly flared around his body before it dissipated and started glowing all around the perimeter of his body. The ki expanded and switched to a light-blue aura as it continued to burn around the Saiyan dangerously.
“I guess this should be it!” - he said as his smirk widened and then he bent his knees enough for him to assume a crouching pose while facing Natto. “Here I come!” - exclaimed the man before he launched himself at the Saiyan, in the attempt to hit him with the Rebellion Spear.
