Komatsu hadn't had the time to properly heal from his fight against Jarvis as he didn't have access to a healing machine. Therefore, while most of his wounds were closed now he was still in a hell of a lot of pain and unable to mask his PL. That meant, everyone on Earth who could sense ki knew he was coming. Wether they knew him or not they could tell that this enormous PL was now on Earth.
Koma wasted no time parting ways with Chris, wanting to see his temporary home and those he had left behind, those he had sent here from Earth. He hoped he would find them at the outpost and they hadn't all abandoned him for Nasu... they wouldn't, would they? Not without seeing him first... He felt extremely insecure about people's allegiances just then, that anxiety growing with every mile he gained on the outpost.
His eyes grew wide as he approached it, seeing that it now lay in charred and frozen ruin. What the hell had happened here?! Where was everyone! He felt his anger rising very easily as he came in for a landing, looking around the outpost in a panic.
"Grandma!? Kohl!" He cried out for him family first, reaching out with his ki sense for anyone that might be around... hoping that they weren't dead....
"Damn it what the hell... did he... did he do this too... damn! If Chris had let me die I could have wiped him from existence..." He growled angrily as he passed his hands through his now matted hair. He didn't truly wish himself dead, but this anger and hatred was quickly becoming overwhelming and he couldn't help the dark thoughts that crossed his mind...

Negi
Following Nasu’s orders, Karota left the medical bay of the Star Javelin and headed to her quarters, where she grabbed her scouter and reached of Negi’s frequency on Earth. The red-haired hybrid had been there for quite a while and even failed in protecting the outpost, but ever since then he had been focusing on training in order to become more powerful and be able to accomplish his own goals. ”Negi, do you copy?’” she asked through a private channel, and the hybrid was quick to respond. ”Yes, Colonel, I do. What’s wrong?” he asked with a serious tone. ”Well… A lot is wrong, but I’m sure you know about at least part of it, right?” she said, making a rhetorical question. Negi sighed deeply before answering. ”Yes… That bastard Jarvis… Not only he destroyed our outpost, but he also destroyed our planet! Now a lot of people died! Nasu should’ve been there to protect it!” his tone was bitter and he was clearly angered by that, but Karota responded promptly. ”You shouldn’t blame Nasu for that. And if you do, be sure to blame Komatsu and Miso too, since they were there and, still, they failed to do a thing.” those words made Negi growl, but he didn’t say anything in return, meaning that Karota’s words had some impact.
”Now that this point is clear, I think you should know that Nasu is in a campaign to destroy the enemy of the saiyans.” she started. ”I’ve heard about that, yes, so what? I don’t really care about the Kolds and, although their forces joined hands with Jarvis, I think they are too much a small fry for the time being.” he said, shrugging it a bit, although Karota couldn’t see what his body was doing anyway. ”Nonetheless, Negi, for crying out loud, listen to me without bitching for a second! Nasu is now heading towards Planet Brench…” and she paused there on purpose to be able to read his reaction. Negi’s eyes widened absurdly and he could feel shivers running down his spine like crazy. ”What?! Planet Brench?! Nasu is attacking the Planet Trade Organization?!” he asked, in disbelief. ”Yes. We are on the way.” she answered. ”Dammit! I thought he would chill for a bit after nearly dying from Chris’ attack!” he said, still with disbelief on his tone. ”Negi… Did you send energy to that attack?” she asked in a sullen tone. ”Of course not! I’m not a freaking traitor, Karota! You know that! I may not like Nasu very much, but I would never do that, even though Chris is my friend!” he retaliated, and Karota sighed in relief.
”Good. That’s good. Anyway… As I was saying, we are going to strike the Planet Trade Organization and, since I know you have a history with them, I think you should know.” she said. Negi was silent for a few seconds after that. ”Negi?” she asked and he snorted. ”That’s… That’s cheap, Karota. That’s absurdly cheap! You know they killed my parents! You know I won’t stay idle knowing the saiyans are waging war against those bastards!” he roared in anger. ”I know. But it wouldn’t be fair to do that behind your back. I know this revenge is important to you. Nasu does too.” she said in a serene tone now. ”Goddammit! This leaves me with no choice… But, Karota… I want to know what am I getting into… What is Nasu truly up to?” he asked in a wary tone. The saiyaness sighed deeply.
”Nasu is creating his own view of a saiyan society and, although it’s very different from the Saiyan Alliance, it’s also different from the Saiyan Empire. He wants to take a more pro-active approach to how we handle our enemies. He believes we should strike first and obliterate them. He also doesn’t really care about conquering a lot of places, but he wishes to make Brench the new Saiyan Planet. And he wants to name it Planet Saiya.” she paused. Negi sighed, massaging his temples. ”Not as bad as I though… But I’m sure he wants to wage war against the whole fucking universe, doesn’t him?” he asked, and she nodded before answering. ”That is true. He is embracing violence. Still, he is more selfless than I’ve expected, he is really putting his life on the line for the saiyans. Not only for himself. I will be honest with you, Negi. I have my reserves about his approach, but I can’t join Koma either. He has become way too soft and, honestly… We can’t live among humans. And I’m a Halfling… We’ve been kicked out of Earth more than once, so don’t fool yourself.” she said and he sighed yet again. ”Yeah… I know that. Dammit… I’m between the cliff and the sword… But you already know what I will do… Expect me to be arriving in Brench in a few days. And let me finish off some of those high-ranking bastards, you hear me?!” he demanded. ”You have my word. I will let you execute the prisoners too.” and with that, they cut off communications for the time being.
Negi took off his scouter and massaged his temples. ”Well… So it’s finally time… I’m sorry, Koma. I wish I could remain by your side… But… This… This is important to me…” he thought to himself as he sensed Komatsu approaching the planet. The timing couldn’t be better. Negi grabbed his things and then flew immediately towards the landing spot, near the ruins of the new outpost, in the southern islands. During this time, Negi’s power increased absurdly and he had become one of the strongest saiyans alive, rivaling Karota and Miso; he didn’t want to be played with anymore.
When Komatsu walked out of the ship, Negi smiled, but with sadness in his blue eyes. ”They are alive and well. Isis too, so you don’t have to look so down, Komatsu.” Negi said in a friendly tone. He wanted him to calm down, because he knew their conversation wouldn’t be a pleasant one.
The man was floating in mid-air, his gaze set below his figure as he looked over the shocking view of the Outpost-- or rather what there was left. It had been like twenty years or so, but old age had not hit Cornatto yet, and he was entirely sure that the time they left the planet, the Outpost was still in good conditions. So to say, he knew that after so long the place wouldn’t have looked as good as it did back in the days, but what he could see was nothing but just a bunch of ruins compared to what he remembered. There were none of the facilities he remembered but rather just a bunch of huts.
“W-what the…” - he mumbled under his breath as he continued staring at the ruins. What had happened? It had been already some time since he had come back on Earth, but he didn’t honestly think of taking a look over the Outpost. He thought that it was nothing more than an empty place with a bunch of memories that started from the end of the Saiyan invasion and finished with the Kami’s request for the Saiyans to grab their stuff and leave. But it was apparent that something had erupted; maybe a conflict? He doubted that the Guardian of Earth had anything to do with that.
Maybe the Saiyans weren’t in good terms with her back then but that aside she didn’t look like the type that would do this stuff. So, he could only guess that it had been more than just the wrath of an angered woman that caused that damage to the former base of the Saiyan Alliance. Cornatto sighed and rubbed the back of his neck as he floated to the ground. “Well, this sucks… I was kind of hoping some of the facilities would still be here, or well, maybe even some Saiyan. But that wouldn’t make much sense considering the Alliance has been on planet Natto for about twenty years.” - he thought to himself, as he obviously had no idea of what had happened recently.
He looked around and barely recognized anything-- there was only so much that he could remember of the old outpost, but there was nearly nothing that he could recognize other than a few things such as some old junk and other stuff here and there. Then again, it had been quite a while so his memory could be pulling jokes on him but he seriously felt like the Outpost as a whole different place.
Cornatto was about to take off and leave, but before he did that, he felt two massive power levels-- one stronger than the other! He didn’t immediately recognize the first one of them. However, it was close, and a few moments later he spotted him flying towards the landing spot of the outpost. The other signature was approaching the planet, and whoever it was, he was pretty powerful! He’d dare say that this person was almost about as tough as Natto back in the days, not only that but it felt somewhat familiar! He couldn’t exactly pinpoint who possessed such huge amount of ki, but he was going to find out!
The man took off himself and slowly approached the landing zone, by the time he was there, he didn’t only spot once more the young red-haired Saiyan but also the one that had just walked out of their ship.
“Yo! What are y’all doing out here?”
The Earthling Saiyan butted in the discussion between the two, with his usual careless and friendly tone. The moment he looked at Negi, he immediately recognized that the young Saiyan wasn’t a pure-blood, but the red-haired boy was likely a hybrid-- which Cornatto guessed just from looking at his attire and tail; it was evident he had Saiyan blood in his veins. He didn’t know who he was, but the man guessed that he was probably part of the Alliance. As of the other Saiyan, he couldn’t help but keep staring; there was something that tingled his senses, it was like he knew him, but at the same time he couldn’t add up all the similarities that the guy shared with one of his parents. Hilariously enough, one of the two brothers looked just like the father while the other was more similar to the mother.
So, it wasn’t long until realization hit him and that just shocked Cornatto even more than the view of the destroyed ruins; his eyes were wide open as he just glanced at Komatsu with a surprised look on his face. “Is… is that you, Komatsu?!” - he exclaimed in evident amazement. Cornatto barely remembered much of the days he spent on Natto aside from a few things such as the Soy School teachings, but he did remember that Komatsu was quite the opposite compared to his big brother Nasu-- and not only in regards to their personality but also in power level. Nasu was like, about six times stronger than his little brother and yet it seemed that the kid had managed to do quite some work in those twenty years and had ascended to quite the impressive level! His surprise expression couldn’t help but quickly turn into a smile.
“Damn, haha! It’s sure been a while.” - said the man, letting out a faint laugh. Natto would have sure been proud of him if he were still there. It also made him wonder how strong Nasu had got himself-- he had never been a slacker, so he was sure that the two brothers were probably about as strong as the other.
He had to say, though, that the other Saiyan was quite powerful himself! He wasn't much if one were to compare him to Komatsu, but damn, it seemed that many were way above Cornatto’s battle power-- but he wasn’t obviously going to do nothing about it; he was working hard to get stronger. It was something he did regret not doing earlier, but like they say, better late than never!

Koma spun around at the sound of Negi’s voice. He had been reaching out to sense them, but as he was sensing far away he hadn’t expected his squad mate to suddenly appear near him. Even though he was on edge, he didn’t react violently, instead a look of relief washed over him as he calmed down and even managed to crack the faintest of smiles.
“Negi… it’s good to see you’re okay… what the hell happened here? And where is everyone else? I’m… I’m sorry I wasn’t here I thought… well I don’t know but I didn’t think anyone would attack the outpost on Earth!” You could tell the boy was still blaming himself for what happened, and no doubt blaming himself for what happened on their home planet. It wasn’t an easy pill to swallow and he knew most saiyans would think that the entire thing was his fault. He thought he could deal with Jarvis on his own… by playing Jarvis’ game he thought he could draw Jarvis away from his people and defeat him, but instead Jarvis had come right to him.
Just the thought of the destruction of his planet put the saiyan in a foul mood, wanting nothing more than to tear him to pieces for all the lives he had killed… how he wished Chris had just let him die so he could continue to beat Jarvis well into the after-life. It was easy to see that he was angry as his body seemed to glow with his crimson aura. He had to shake his head to snap himself out of it as he sensed another figure approaching.
By the looks of him he was a saiyan but komatsu didn’t recognize him… was he an Earthling Saiyan? Or maybe he was one of the saiyans that had escaped planet Natto’s destruction and chose to come to Earth instead of following Nasu? Whatever the case this saiyan had no problems butting into the conversation, and what was more it sounded like the saiyan knew him personally judging by the way he spoke.
Koma raised an eyebrow as he looked this man up and down trying to figure out just whom he was but still couldn’t recognize him. Little did he know Komatsu had met him before when he was about 5 years old… just a few short months before the Empire-alliance war and when he was captured. There were quite a few people he couldn’t remember from his past, and sadly Cornatto was one of them.
“Sorry but who are you?” Koma asked shortly, his eyes never leaving the newcomer as he waited for an answer. He wasn’t sure what to make of it, and while normally he’d try not to show hostilities, the majin mark on his forehead was making it extremely difficult to stay calm.

Kohlrabi wasn't there to see the destruction of the utpost but she was already present at there when Komatsu arrived, though she hadn't noticed his arrival immediately as she didn't have that great of an ability to sense Ki unless someone was really pouring out their power. That was besides the point, though. The most she had done since she had gotten back from Natto was sit around and remain distant from people. The same stone-like expression on her face with her shoulders slumped down while she stared off into space, lost in her own thoughts trying to process her own emotions. The saiyan was unaware that Komatsu had survived what happened on Natto, so for all she knew she was convinced that Komatsu was dead and that she had lost a third person that was important to her while she wasn't even a fully grown adult quite yet.. At least definitely not in physical appearance. If appearance was not being considered, it was definitely debatable, especially after all the things she had been through. It probably wasn't much in comparison to some people that were out there, but it still weighed heavily on her and that definitely showed in the way she was acting.
She sat on the ground and stared ahead into the distance, legs crossed with her hands in her lap with a stone-cold look on her face. First she had lost her parents, then she had lost Komatsu, and to add salt to the present wounds Natto was destroyed. That was her father's planet, like Earth was her mother's. Being powerless to prevent it's destruction and the death of the one she loved most tore her up inside. It was a horrible, gut-wrenching pain that she chose not to show through her body language or facial expressions. With Komatsu assumed dead and her parents dead for years now, she had closed herself off almost entirely. Choosing to let her emotions cause her a great deal of pain throughout her body, instead of the healthy alternative which would be crying it off or even venting it out to a somewhat trustworthy person.
Despite being so deep into her thoughts, she could hear the sounds of a distant ship landing and looked up to see it's source. When it's occupant stepped out to talk to Negi, her eyes widened before she literally shot forward out of her sitting position and flew directly at Komatsu. Top fucking speed. She couldn't believe that Komatsu was still alive, and some part of her thought that maybe this was some fucked up dream but for right now she didn't care about that. If it were real or fake she would find out the old fashion way, with some good ole' physical contact. "KOMATSU!" The girl screamed at the top of her lungs almost, probably scaring the hell out of any nearby Saiyans. She shot like a blue blur towards Komatsu, slowing her flight down just as soon as she reached him, clinging to him as if her life depended upon it.
Words could not describe the overwhelming joy she felt at his return. The sadness and pain she had felt was pushed way into the back-lines and replaced with an almost excessive amount of happiness, enough to make the blue-haired hybrid shake slightly while she clung firmly to Komatsu. Her arms wrapped firmly around him and his face hidden against his torso and neck area.

Komatsu seemed very distressed, but he still managed to greet Negi with a smile and that made the hybrid both happy and sad, and a half-hearted smile appeared on his face. When he asked what happened there, Negi sighed. ”We were attacked. By a great force and unfortunately there was nothing we could’ve done about it. But some survived, me included.” he said with grief on his tone. Negi was feeling a little useless for not being able to make a true difference in the attack, but there was no use crying over spilled milk anyway.
After he greeted Komatsu, Negi sensed another power level approaching. It wasn’t much, but still quite considerable when comparing with the average earthling power level, when the person arrived, though, he couldn’t help but to think he was somewhat familiar, but he couldn’t quite remember from where he knew this guy. Something in his gut told him he was a saiyan and he did look like one, despite the lack of a visible tail and the earthling clothes he was wearing. The saiyan seemed to remember Komatsu which probably meant he was from the Alliance, and that was when it struck him, from the pictures on the Army’s quarters.
Negi widened his eyes and arched his brows in surprise. ”Hang on a second! Y-you are… Major Cornatto, aren’t you?! I saw a picture of you in the army quarters! You are a veteran from the Alliance-Empire War!” and that was pretty much all he knew about Cornatto. Before he could say anything else, though, Kohlrabi arrived at the landing spot, screaming to her hearts contempt. Negi grimaced a bit because of the loud scream, but then exhaled deeply and cracked a caring smile on his face; it was good to see the love that flourished between those two and this scene just made everything much harder for the hybrid.
But Negi’s smile faded away with the realization that the clock was ticking and he had to leave, otherwise he wouldn’t arrive in Planet Brench in time for the siege. Negi’s concern was quite visible now, but it could be mistaken for many things. Still, he waited a handful of seconds before he spoke again, allowing Komatsu and Kohl to embrace for a while. ”Koma… I know this is not the best of time, but there’s something I need to speak to you about… And it’s quite urgent.” he said in a rather tense tone.
Cornatto couldn’t still believe that the boy there with that enormous power was truly Komatsu, people changed a lot for sure! He wasn’t even that sure how he had managed to recognize him; the Earthling Saiyan remembered him just a little, but he could still remember that hairstyle, even if it had got longer and his face looked somewhat familiar, too!
But he had changed quite a lot, and it was difficult to accurately match the boy's current self with the memories of that far away past, but ki helped him a little bit. A person’s soul hardly changed at all, the only thing that made it difficult for him to recognize Komatsu for a second was that his power had drastically increased.
He seriously wondered what kind of training he had undergone through, but there’d probably be time for that kind of questions and stuff like that-- the boy didn’t look to be in the best shape, but Corn had decided not to inquire about that for the moment. He had just shown up after twenty years or more, and he didn’t want to butt in others’ business that quickly-- even if the man was seriously wondering what the hell had happened to the outpost.
It seemed that the Earthling Saiyan had hit the jackpot; it was indeed Komatsu! But, there was one issue-- it appeared that the younger Saiyan was hesitating to answer, while Cornatto hadn’t changed physically that much as he still retained his youthful looks. He hadn’t taken into consideration that Komatsu was still a kid back in the days and it was only natural for people not to remember everything in those youthful years. Not to mention that he had not been around for a while, so he hardly expected anyone to recognize him, honestly. Not like Cornatto had any expectation of identifying anyone himself, maybe aside from people like Nasu-- whom the man guessed that looked just like Natto considering the two looked just alike back then, and maybe some other Saiyan who was just as old-- or older than him. He couldn’t exactly think of many names aside from other fellow veterans of the war such as Karota, and perhaps Natto’s brother, too.
After a good few moments or so, Komatsu finally spoke up, inquiring on the Saiyan’s identity. Cornatto chuckled, feeling somewhat awkward for a moment as he had not expected that-- even if he should have. Then again, it wasn’t like Cornatto could blame the kid-- how many times did they meet? That, he didn’t even remember himself! But he could remember him having a little bout with his big brother once, of course, he remembered because it was the first day of his training with Natto which included the basics of the Soy Arts-- he couldn’t certainly afford himself to forget that!
“Haha… I guess it has been a long time,” - he said, and when he was about to resume his speech, Negi gave his input on the matter and introduced Cornatto with his former rank in the Alliance’s military. He also mentioned his most ‘valuable’ military experience during his time in the Saiyan Alliance; the Empire-Alliance war.
Again, it was something that had happened a long time ago, and he highly doubted that anyone would have remembered all of that, but apparently, his picture and a bunch of information were still available in the army quarters. It impressed Corn a little; he had expected them to remove his stuff once they’d have made sure that he hadn’t been on Natto for about two decades.
Then again, he guessed it had something to do with the Alliance’s records rather than keeping up with the members of the Saiyan Army; which was kind of fair considering Cornatto was one of the first Saiyans to join Natto and his goals that would then flourish into the Alliance.
“Hehe, yeah. That’s me!” - he replied, cracking a smirk as he nodded in Negi’s direction. “I guess I haven’t changed that much if you remember me from a picture.” - he added, letting out a faint chuckle before he glanced at Komatsu.
“You were still kinda little back then, so I guess you don’t remember me but your father used to train me. Unless my memory’s gone nuts, I remember seeing you in the dojo once with Nasu.”
He didn’t exactly remember what the kids were up to that day; it probably had something to do with sparring each other but regardless of how much time had passed. At the time he was too focused on keeping up with Natto-- so he wasn’t exactly sure as to what the others in the dojo were up to-- he guessed they were training themselves, though.
Before either Negi or Corn could say anything else, another Saiyan made her appearance and rushed her way to Komatsu, which made Cornatto tilt his head slightly as he watched the two curiously until he realized that the two were probably close-- or at least that was what he could see by their exchange. He smiled a little, and let them have their moment of privacy just like Negi did.
It felt funny how much had changed! Last time he had seen Komatsu, he was still a kid, and while Cornatto was unsure as to how old Komatsu was, he had grown up quite a bit and not only that but also found himself some good friends apparently.
Some time after that, something changed in the air-- or well, rather with Negi. He couldn’t tell well what it was, but the young Saiyan’s look had changed, and while it was quite evident for anyone to notice, Corn didn’t think much of it at first. That was until he spoke up, and his request to talk to Koma kind of earned a bit of the man’s curiosity. “Hm? Is something the matter?” - he asked. He didn’t know whether Negi had implied a private audience with Komatsu or not, but he was somewhat curious to know what was going on as well.

"Kohlrabi..." He said softly, his words barely escaping his lips, sounding little more than a whisper as he suddenly felt her energy nearby. He heard everything Negi had said of course, but moments after he had finish Kohlrabi came soaring out of no where and crashing into him. He winced, immediately tensing up as pain flooded his body though pushing himself through it and wrapping his arms around the saiyaness lovingly.
Komatsu would hug the girl tightly, though obviously not hard enough to hurt her... He had been so scared that she had lost her life! He had tried to push everyone away from him so that they could be spared Jarvis' wrath as well as the destruction of the planet, but he hadn't been able to spare a moment to check up on them all as he needed every ounce of his concentration to defeat Jarvis. Only now did he realize how scared he had been...
"I'm sorry..." He said lowly as he felt his own sadness echoed in her own scream. He'd bite his lower lip as he burried his face in his hair, hiding himself away from the other two for a moment as he took the opportunity to compost himself. Only Kohl would know how distraught he was, as she would no doubt feel him shaking as he held her close, too scared to let her go.
It seemed like eternity before Komatsu pulled his face away from Kohl's blue hair, taking in a deep breath as he moved one hand to finally tilt her head up towards him, stealing a kiss of reassurance from her before he would glance to the other two now while still not letting her go.
"Cornatto... The name rings a bell but I really don't remember you. The earliest memory I have is being thrown into the Empire's prison... I don't think I can honestly remember anything from my childhood before the war. If you trained with my dad though, then it's really an honor to meet you. Why are you here on Earth? I mean... did you come here escaping the planet as well?" He asked curiously, though his eyes quickly darting to Negi whenever the boy's tone changed. It became far more serious, and instantly Komatsu tensed up as he nodded towards the red haired saiyan.
"Urgent? What's going on?" He was immediately on high alert, reaching out as far as he could with his ki sense to try and find the root of the problem before Negi could even go on to talk about it.

Negi tried to smile to Cornatto but it wasn’t easy right now and it was quite obvious his smile was a forced one. ”You didn’t change at all. You look exactly the same.” he said, before Cornatto went on to speak with Komatsu once again. Negi had a very important matter to discuss and he didn’t want to waste any more time, because he had to leave and he was already running late; if he stalled any further he would probably lose the opportunity to have his so desired revenge and he couldn’t accept that at all.
To his surprise, Cornatto also seemed interested in knowing what was the issue Negi wanted to talk about, but that didn’t appraise the hybrid. If anything, just made it sounds even more troublesome and he sighed deeply. ”Koma… I need to ask you something and I beg of you to answer me as honestly as you can.” he said, pausing for a short moment in order to take a very deep breath. ”Do you intend on attacking the Planet Trade Organization at all? I mean, even if they never attack us again? I really need you to answer this question.” and Negi had a very serious tone, and his expression was that of concern and a tad bit of anger, perhaps even some remorse. The hybrid’s heart was in a turmoil of emotions right now, so it would be a little hard for anyone to correctly read him.
The man chuckled a bit like the red haired Saiyan mentioned as to how he hadn’t changed at all, it was true, honestly. His looks were pretty much the same; it was difficult for a Saiyan to change only throughout twenty years-- it would have usually taken for the Saiyan to be seventy-- or eighty, something around that before actually turning old, and so not only he’d lose his strength but also his youthful appearance. Thankfully, though, he was still far from getting that old, and he could only hope that it’d take a while still for the years to pass.
Cornatto chuckled a bit, nodding in response to Negi’s comment. He had to say, seeing a red-haired Saiyan-- which meant that he was not a pure-blood, but at least half-Saiyan and it brought Corn way back to memories of his time on Earth when he was a lot younger. It was just that one of his friends was a hybrid with red hair, and it was sort of hilarious to see someone else sharing the same trait. He didn’t obviously hint at it that much; he doubted that the two hybrids had anything to do with the other. So, he just shifted his gaze at Komatsu and the other Saiyan woman as the two embraced and celebrated their reunion, with both Negi and Corn watching silently in content.
Shortly after that, Komatsu gave an answer to Cornatto that more or less made him understand that Komatsu had gone through something that had apparently made his memories of before the war shady and all, or well rather he mentioned something about being thrown into the Empire’s prisons. It was something that made Cornatto somewhat curious as to what had happened to most of the other soldiers aside from the ones who had lost their lives-- including Komatsu’s parents, of course.
He had seen lots of people to die, but he had no idea-- even if he should have likely imagined it, that some people were even kidnapped and brought into Imperial prisons. Honestly, the bare thought was creepy enough, he wondered whether the Saiyan Empire had imprisoned members of the Alliance other than Komatsu-- and maybe they could still be stuck in there.
He had no idea that the Empire had kidnapped the kid, and the news was certainly kind of disturbing-- he couldn’t imagine how the Empire would treat a member of the Alliance-- not to mention, the Overseer’s son. That aside, though, he appreciated the fact that he acknowledged the fact that he knew Natto-- Corn was one of the first members of the Alliance and considered Natto to be a good friend. He wished he could have done something so that Natto wouldn’t have got killed that day, but unfortunately, the circumstances Metal Asparagus had forced him into were something that the Earthling Saiyan couldn’t have avoided. At the time he was occupied trying to beat that damn android, but he had no idea whether things could have gone differently or not, but he had a few doubts about it.
However, his content and happy expression turned into one of curiosity as Komatsu hinted at the possibility that Corn might have escaped the planet ‘as well’; what was that supposed to mean? Did other Saiyans leave the Alliance’s home for some reason unknown to him? It was true that he would have probably sensed such an immense happening, considering his senses were quite sharpened, but he had been focusing on his training, so he hadn’t given the matter much importance. He was admittedly confused, and he couldn’t reply in no way other than being honest.
“Huh? What do you mean? I’ve come here on Earth like a few months ago. But, that aside… I don’t see why I would have had to escape the planet in the first place-- did something happen?” - he asked in a curious tone, his arms folded over his chest as he eagerly waited for an answer. He was admittedly starting to grow somewhat concerned too; he hoped that nothing too serious had happened on Planet Natto.
And the air only continued to tense up as Negi seemed not to be comfortable with the conversation at all at that point, and Cornatto had noticed that as well. He didn’t know what was going on anymore; something destroyed the Outpost, the Saiyans had to escape from Planet Natto, and now the red-haired Saiyan asked a question that left Corn just to stare at him for a few moments. “The Planet Trade Organization? Huh...” - he thought to himself. It was kind of interesting how certain factions would still be around after so much time, and admittedly it made Corn wonder why the Alliance would even attack first if they hadn't assaulted the Alliance first.
It had sure been a while, but the Earthling Saiyan was pretty sure that the Alliance was more or less the same to the one he remembered and followed back in the days before the whole Empire-Alliance conflict happened back then on Planet Vegeta.
“I’d understand if they were threatening you guys, but I don’t see why the Alliance would attack the Planet Trade Organization.” - he said, evidently expressing his concern and interest in Negi’s question, it was something he couldn’t exactly grasp the concept of; he hadn’t been around for anything in regards to what the Alliance did in the latest years. In a few words, Corn wasn't aware of most of the stuff that had happened in the most recent years.
By all he knew, the Alliance could have taken a much different direction than the one Natto had established to follow when he first created it. He doubted it, considering his son didn’t seem like a bad person at all, but he couldn’t know what could have ever happened in those twenty years he was absent. But, he was admittedly interested about it.

Komatsu would slowly loosen his grip on Kohl, feeling slightly better now that he knew she was alright and got to embrace her once more. He didn't let go of her completely though, quite glad to be using her as a crutch as that moment as his ribs were seriously hurting... throughout the trip home Komatsu hadn't managed to get into a healing tank of any kind, his tank having been aboard the ship he had told Flare to take here to Earth. Healing from wounds naturally was literally, such a pain.
He had to take steady breaths to keep himself standing straight and seem as if he wasn't hurt at all... he was enjoying this little reunion, even through the news of losing the outpost. He glanced between Cornatto and Negi and couldn't help but smile softly. This... this interaction between saiyans was what he wanted to see bloom with the remnants of the Saiyan Alliance... a camaraderie that would peacefully blossom... it was rare to see saiyans actually being kind to one another lately.
First, Cornatto spoke, asking about what he meant about Planet Natto. Koma couldn't help but feel relieved that he wasn't there... it wasn't an experience he wished on anyone... though he figured he should probably clarify what happened. He felt his heart grow heavy just thinking about what happened, finding it difficult to actually bring the words forward.
"Planet Natto... it's... gone. It's a long story but Jarvis... uh... the leader of what used to be the Cerulean Empire... He took advantage of the fact that we were missing a large part of our military, including Nasu and invaded. " Instinctively, Komatsu brought his hand to the freshly carved scar on his face, the pain the spear had caused passing over him like a ghost and actually making the boy shudder. He would grind his teeth though and take a breath, his eyes shifting over to NEgi as he would suddenly press the subject he wanted to speak about.
"The planet trade organization?" Komatsu asked, raising one of his eyebrows as the subject came up. He had talked to Negi quite a lot and understood his hatred of the PTO so the question wasn't completely out of left field... though he didn't like where this subject would be taking them... Would Negi leave him to go after Nasu if Komatsu said he wouldn't attack the PTO? He couldn't stop him from doing that if it was the case but... Negi was a part of his squad, and while that might not mean anything now that the Alliance was broken, Negi was still a dear friend to him... all those of his squad had become his close friends. With a deep breath he pushed himself off of Kohl enough to straighten himself up, looking at Negi seriously.
"I won't... I know how you feel about them but we don't have the man power to attack them, nor a good reason too. They've kept their noses clean for a long time as far as I'm aware. Negi... There's really only one reason you'd ask me that... what is Nasu up too?" He asked seriously, turning the questions on his friend. If Nasu was up to something again... well for starters it would make things a lot harder for him to establish any kind of foothold with the Remnants of the Alliance... He supposed it meant he would need to act faster, starting with getting himself in a medical tank soon.
For the time being, Komatsu didn't answer Cornatto's statement. The man was absolutely right, without provocation there's no way Komatsu would lead a charge against them... he was trying to build a life of peace for his people, not lead them into senseless wars.

Negi literally glared at Cornatto with anger in his blue eyes. ”They threatened us back then! They killed my parents! They are just too afraid of us now to do anything, but those wounds… They are open and won’t ever close!” Negi said with harshness in his tone, before turning back to Komatsu and trying to calm himself a bit, even though his feature was still clearly angered. When Komatsu said they didn’t have a good reason to attack them, he scoffed, gazing away for a second and folding his arms, and then Komatsu asked the reason behind his question. Negi’s eyes watered though, and he still avoided staring back at his friend as he was really angry now.
”Not long enough… Not long enough to make me forget… My parents… They were kind, you know?! They loved and admired your parents… They followed Tomo and Natto everywhere. They were weak, but brave… And they died! The PTO got too scared to keep on attacking us, but what about it? I can’t ever forgive them for what they did! That was the reason I joined the army to begin with… And… Yes, Koma, you are right, Nasu is up to something…” some tears rolled down his face before he stated back at Komatsu. ”He is now reaching Planet Brench and his goal is to destroy the Planet Trade Organization and… Karota asked me to join them…” he sighed deeply and painfully. ”I… I can’t let them avenge my folks while I’m here doing nothing… It would kill me, Koma… I don’t like your brother, I never did. I think he is a self-centered idiot, but… He is doing something right now, against the very people who murdered my parents while they were just scouting our own planet’s borders! I’m sorry…. But… I need to go… I would rather fight them by your side… But… If you aren’t going to do it… Then I will…” he said and it pained him to say so, but he couldn’t fight the hatred in his heart. His saiyan blood was boiling.
Cornatto only grew more curious as he took note as to how Komatsu initially seemed to be struggling to find the words to answer his question-- and admittedly as the moments passed, Corn was feeling concerned as to what had happened. It was sure strange that not only Saiyans would be coming back to the Outpost out of nowhere, but also that Komatsu's earlier question when the boy asked whether Cornatto had apparently escaped the planet for some reason. It was evident that something had happened, but what intrigued the Saiyan were the details; what could have ever happened? Was there some conflict or something like that? He doubted that a race such as the Saiyans would have run away from their planet just because of a little fight. Despite the fact that the Saiyans from the Alliance were much different from the cold ones, most of them maintained their love for battling, so Cornatto thought that such option was unlikely, or rather impossible.
Shortly after, his concerns were confirmed as Komatsu told him as to how Planet Natto had been destroyed by a certain Jarvis, the leader of the Cerulean Empire. Such news hit Cornatto as the man widened his eyes in shock. “W-what?!” - he exclaimed, leaving his jaw slightly open as he attempted to process the information the fellow Saiyan had given him. It was obviously devastating news for the man, despite the fact that he had been for so long away from the Alliance’s home, it was a place that the Earthling Saiyan still cared for-- it was only natural. The world that had been welcoming all of the Saiyans that were tired of the Empire’s ways but at the same time it wasn’t just a revolutionary force against the Empire, but it quickly turned out into a place where the door was always open for every single member of the warrior race.
Cornatto himself had contributed to the creation of such dream, so it was only natural that he had mixed feelings about this-- however, among them all, there was not only a hint of anger in his eyes, but he also felt sadness deep inside his heart. His hand slowly clenched, a few veins clearly popping up on his arm as he was evidently angered more than anything. His features hardened, followed by a quiet, primal growl vibrating within his body. It was true that getting to see such a sight would have perhaps hurt him more but at least he would have been there for the planet that despite his attachment to Earth, he had considered being his new home long ago.
The man had no idea as to who this Jarvis was either, but he guessed that he wasn’t in good terms with the Alliance because of his actions, Corn did hear something about the Cerulean Empire, though, he didn’t know much other than its existence. So, he was pretty much clueless.
The Earthling Saiyan’s gaze slowly shifted around, as he took another look at the Outpost that was nothing more but a bunch of ruins and slowly brought it back on Komatsu. “This Jarvis guy… did he also do this?” - he asked. It was pretty much the only explanation he could come up with in response to what had happened to the Outpost-- it could have seriously been anything but what Komatsu had just told him couldn’t have made him think otherwise.
In the meanwhile, Negi slowly opened up to his kinsman-- even if it seemed that Cornatto had touched a button with his earlier statement. Cornatto listened silently, still somewhat shocked by the news that Planet Natto was gone but he could still see what Negi’s point was-- it didn’t mean he agreed with it, though.
“...I’m sorry about your parents, but I don’t think it’d be a good choice for you guys to attack them especially now that Planet Natto is no more.” - he said, evidently trying to kick some sense in the hybrid’s head; the Saiyans were probably hurt inside, and he could only wonder how many losses there were-- after all, it wasn’t like there were many other survivors in the whereabouts by what he could sense. He thought that the Alliance’s priority was probably to rebuild at the time.
But, he could somewhat sympathize with the boy; Corn’s parents were killed by the Empire back then, although he had never personally taken revenge for them-- not even during the Alliance-Empire war. At first he had gradually turned his feelings towards the Saiyan race into hate, but funnily enough, it was thanks to Natto that his idea of Saiyans completely changed. He doubted Natto’s intentions the day they met, but Corn quickly realized that Natto was a trustworthy fellow and quickly became friends with him.
Speaking of Natto-- Negi shortly after hinted at what Nasu was up to-- and Cornatto admittedly arched an eyebrow. It had been quite a while since he had last seen the kid and to be honest; he somewhat expected him to look just like his father. After all, his features were similar to Natto’s even when he was just a kid and Saiyans didn’t change that much when it came to their appearances. They’d usually look different, yes, but just older compared as to how some humans’ features drastically changed at times. Nor did their hairstyles change at all.
However, even if Nasu might have looked just like his father, he was nothing like Natto. Cornatto sighed to himself when Negi mentioned the fact that Nasu was not only attacking the Planet Trade Organization but that the hybrid also considered him a selfish idiot. He guessed that his attitude as a child wasn’t just a matter of being excited about fighting like Natto once said, but at least Komatsu had seemingly turned out different from his brother-- from what he had seen that far, of course. Still, it somewhat made him happy to hear a familiar name such as the one of Karota; he was glad to hear that an old friend of his was still alive, she was also the one who had assisted him in learning what was left for him to apprehend of the Soy Arts.
However, this time he decided to stay silent and see what Komatsu would say-- Cornatto wasn’t really up to date with most of the stuff that had happened. So, the man doubted that he could have given that much of input. Corn admittedly felt somewhat powerless and regret deep down; the world he had put so faith in the past and something that he could consider to be part of his effort too, was destroyed without him even knowing.

Komatsu watched Negi struggle with his own emotions just then, they were very clear in his eyes and his mannerisms... He couldn't say Negi was good at hiding his feelings, though he didn't know a single saiyan who was. He let a sigh escape his lips as he glanced over towards Cornatto when he asked if Jarvis had done this to the outpost. He couldn't say for sure as he hadn't been there, but would gladly assume it was his fault if only for another reason to hate him.
"I don't know, Cornatto... but Negi I..." He brought his hand up to the bridge of his nose for a moment before pushing his hand back and prushing his long hair back. He was unsure of what he wanted to say to him... he wanted to stop him from going to Nasu's side for a multitude of reasons, but he also understood how Negi felt... he would kill just for the opportunity to avenge his parents or right the wrongs done to his family... He couldn't rightfully prevent Negi from doing what he would do.
Instead, he walked up to the half breed and reached out, placing his hand gently on the boy's shoulder just as Negi looked back up to him with tear filled eyes.
"Go... but you have to promise me something. Only fight their soldiers, if there are any by standers... don't hurt those that can't fight for themselves... Avenge your family, but there's no need for senseless murder... okay? I know Nasu would just order everyone killed but... promise me you wont. You aren't a part of his army any more. " He tried to say confidently, though while still being in so much physical pain and all of this thrown at him, he sounded so uncertain. For all of his power right now, Komatsu didn't sound like some big commander, he just sounded like the 18 year old kid he was.
He once more looked over to Cornatto as he had voiced the fact that he didn't think Negi should go, that it wasn't the right time and Komatsu couldn't help but nod. Cornatto was right, but that decision was already made for them... it seemed Nasu was already on his way there, so he wouldn't wait...
"You're right, it's not a good idea to go after the PTO with what few forces we have left... the Saiyan Race is barely more than a handful now and he's just going to throw their lives away on planet Brench. Heh, figures my brother would do nearly the exact same thing as Queen Lettis..." He muttered the last part more to himself than to Cornatto or Negi, the thought only making him angrier with Nasu in the end... His own brother was acting like the ancient leader of the Empire he hated so much... The Empire their parent's had fought so diligently to overthrow... He was sure his parent's were furious up in the afterlife. He wondered if they would be pulling any other favors to come down here and kick some sense into him again...
"Negi... we aren't going to be on Planet Earth when all of this is done. I'm taking what's left of us to planet Namek. I'll explain everything to you when you get back, okay?"

Negi just glared at Cornatto when he said it wasn’t a good choice to attack Planet Brench. The hybrid knew it wasn’t, but he also couldn’t let this unique opportunity go to waste; chances were that Nasu would win anyway and after that the Planet Trade Organization would be gone and so would be his chance to make justice against the murderers of his parents. After that Komatsu began speaking again and Negi stared at him, still feeling quite bad with himself for leaving his friend. Komatsu asked him to promise to only fight the soldiers and he nodded in agreement. ”Of course, Koma. You know me. Their soldiers attacked my parents, not the civilians. I hold no love for the brenchians, but they won’t be dying by my hand.” he said in an honest tone, in which Komatsu knew he could trust.
Then, Komatsu told him they would be going to Namek and that surprised him quite a lot. ”Namek?!” he exclaimed in surprise, but when Komatsu said that he would be explain it later, he nodded. ”Alright. And thank you for understanding, Koma.” he said as his eyes became quite watered, but he held his tears and, with everything being said, he took a few steps back. ”Farewell, my friend. I hope to come back soon.” he said and with those words, Negi took flight, heading towards his spaceship, which was landed near the ruins. He had a long journey ahead of him and he knew he had to hurry up.
