Tomina was lounging in what was currently her room, lounging back on her bed and casually sipping a glass of wine. She was getting some well deserved rest after everything that happened to her lately. She has been trapped in a dark cell for a long time and had to fight her way through the Brenchian army and twisted experiments. So she deserved a little break before she started on her training marathon. Tomina planned on pushing herself harder then she had ever done before. Now that she knew a little bit more about her latent powers, she was going to try and expand them further.
My first transformation is wonderful, yet it's only the beginning of what I'll be capable of. I know that I can push it to even my heights. My half-blood heritage has given me trouble in the transformation department for awhile. But now I'm starting to understand it a little more. Still, I wish I knew more about my Elemi side.
There was much she still didn't know about herself. She knew all about her Saiyan side, but there were still many mysteries concerning her other half. Tomina held the glass above her, slowly rocking it in her hand and watched the liquid splash around in the glass. She could always get the information from another Elemi, she mused. And if they were unwilling to comply she could just "persuade" them. Tomina always managed to get the answers she wanted from others. People were very eager to spill their guts out to her.
Just in orbit around the planet Earth laid in wait an idle ship. Large by its standards the unfamiliar star traveler silently laid in wait as its passengers surveyed the world. The alien ship bore a dark red tint along its very angular design from nose up to a broadened stern with oversized engines. It wasn’t the biggest but it was certainly one of the more advanced. It easily fit the small squad of fifty plus two important individuals onboard.
“Wow, you weren’t wrong Raggy. This woman’s on fire! I’ve only felt Saiyans go to this and beyond.” The young lad in one of the three centered chairs on the main deck, facing out towards the world they were orbiting, spun around in a sort of gleeful praise as they and several others at the controls watched a certain young flame from above on a holographic monitor. “Think we should go down and stop her before she burns herself? That boy doesn’t look like he’ll take much more of her backl-” The armor clad individual sitting in center of the room put a single hand out towards the boy and waved it there for a moment to get him to hush up. In the same move he turned to lean towards the monitor.
“She’ll be fine. Though, it is almost time to go down anyways.” A bit of fire flares around the individual as he spun out of his chair and stood up with a clanking of his boots. Something seemed to have come up suddenly for him to take leave of such an interesting event. A smaller, teal woman with large curly green hair stepped aside and assumed the third chair as the man started walking back and out of the deck himself.
“Sit tight and just enjoy the show prince, we’ll get to meet her within the hour! I’ve got something I must take care of beforehand though. Don’t soak the popcorn out of excitement alright?” Was what he put face to before the deck’s door opened and closed again to his back. This audacious flame brushed a bit of his hair back as he proceeded onto his main captain’s quarters on his lonesome. He didn’t seem all that enthusiastic.
“I know I’m here for my blood, but I distinctly remember feeling someone close… but so far out.” He spoke a bit quietly to himself as he took to his computer and sat it it for a long while in thought. The flame’s idea? Well, the whole while he was trying to sense out that source of power again. However strong it was before it seemed to have died down once more, but traces of it he could remember where they were. He didn’t want this to be a phone call to be an ex or his bastard of a father. Should he ring?
[“Huh. Didn’t think I’d find someone so close so far away.”] The man would send out simply, scratching his chin as he leaned on back in his chair. Looked like he was an office worker taking a phone call for the boss. [“Don’t be shy now, I’m not contacting you with ill intent.”]

Tomina shop up when she heard the voice in her head, the wine glass flying out of her hand. It shattered against the far wall, sending shards of glass and her wine spilling over the ground. She cursed, reaching into her pocket and putting on her scouter. Unfortunately she couldn't see any unusual readings though. Still, it seemed different then the last person who contacted her mentally. At least it wasn't painful... yet.
["Yeah well, excuse me for being a little weary. Last time someone broke into my mind, they pretty much mentally raped me. And what do you mean that I'm someone close to you? Identify yourself right now!"]
Tomina was going to insist on getting that special training from Nasu the next chance that she got. People were breaking into her mind constantly and she was getting really sick of it. Soon no one would be able to do this to her without her permission. And she didn't intend on giving anyone permission ever.
An abrasive response. The person on the other end of the mind phone took a moment to see if she was actually went any further with the protocols talk. Mentally clearing his throat in a sense the man on this end responded coolly. It wasn't what he was expecting but one would suppose most any saiyan would be as rough as this one was.
["Ahh, my apologies. I wasn't completely aware, I only really got a read on you when you unleashed a great amount of power... But it wasn't even that which is why I'm contacting you."] Ragnarok grabbed a bit of coffee, ready made at the desk just waiting for him. This was going to be a longer discussion than his mind would probably want to take right now, what with everything going on. This halfling wasn't going to be the first child opened up to however. Tapping to the same song he had a few times already.
["How aware are you of your elemental nature? I'd rather ease you into things if you're not really sure on everything. You wouldn't be the first I had to make contact with regarding this."] He got even more situated in his room, rolling back around in his chair to sit the coffee on down in a stationary position. ["Like the attitude by the way. Reminds me of my sis."]

So, this person didn’t seem to mean her any harm, whoever he was. At least for the moment anyway. Tomina wasn’t going to let her guard down for a moment. Not until she was absolutely sure that he wasn’t a threat. Tomina walked over to the bathroom and took a towel off the rack, making sure she got it damp before leaving the room. She then snatched up the broom and dustpan that she had in the corner. She was going to take care of the mess that she had made. She started sweeping up the broken glass as she responded to the mysterious individual.
[“I know quite a bit about my Elemi side, if that’s what you mean. I know that my powers are tied to my emotions. I know that the stronger I get, the longer my lifespan will be. And I’ve made sure to learn as much as I can about my element. I was told some of the stuff I know by the Saiyans who raised me. I figured out the rest from my encounters with other Elemi. There’s still things I don’t know I imagine.”]
Tomina decided that it would be a good idea not to mention that some encounters lead to her torturing said Elemi to get as much information as she could out of them. She wanted to be absolutely sure as to how her abilities worked. There were some pieces of info that she hadn’t been able to get though. Tomina finished scooping up the glass and dumped it into a trash can. Then she got on her hands and knees and began to wipe up the wine.
[“I don’t know your sister, or you for that matter. So I’ll ask one more time. Who are you, and why are you interested in me?”]
Ragnarok was taken a bit back by how she explained her knowledge over the subject. Direct, perhaps scrupulous to the point of detriment. Girl sounded like she was working off a wiki page and just reading off that. Ragnarok suppressed a sigh and took his cup back in hand. She wasn't aware of the organization or anything of that sort. Her mother at least didn't tell her of it which was a bit of a drag but not something he couldn't work around.
["I'm part of a galactic organization, one dominated and ran by our kind. A community like no other. I hold a high standing chair in this said organization. I see your mother didn't really tell you anything about me or it. It's my fault too that you don't know, and I'll fully take blame for that. Call me Ragnarok."] He took a deep breath and reached for something under his desk, a small and high pitched tone buzzing for just a moment as he continued.
["You seem to share your mother's saiyan attitude and blind loyalty towards strength. It's what makes you strong. If I had found out I had a bastard somewhere else out there this strong I'd have spent more time building onto your drive rather than your aunt... Though you two are pretty much identical in age. And, excuse me for sounding arrogant for a moment, but our line has a tendency to become prodigies. Leagues above our leaders even."] Soon that teal-haired blue skinned girl walked in from the halls of the ship, assumed to be from the buzzer, and bowed to him before she sat down in a chair opposite of the charming fireslinger. She remained quiet and waited for him to speak up to her, him seeming to just be thinking as he telepathed Tomina.
["You'll have to excuse this busy man for never having been in your life. We weren't so freely able to take visits to saiyan occupied space, nor did your mother really care for me beyond creating you. Go ahead and take your time to think on all this if you may, I have most the day today free for this conversation."]

[“Ragnarock…. Wait….. The way you talk….. You’re my FATHER?!”]
Tomina froze in the middle of cleaning up her wine, her eyes opening in shock. There was no way this could be happening. She supposed it was a theoretical possibility that she would run into him considering that they both would have naturally long lifespans. Although she honestly didn’t expect to be contacted in this manner. She was also pretty confused. Some of the things he said didn’t make sense at first. They all naturally clicked together eventually though. She had to view things from her Elemi side for some of it to make sense.
[“For a moment I wondered how I could have an aunt who’s around my age. The answer to that is why my mother sought one of you out in the first place. Elemi can have ridiculously long lifespans. I bet I have quite a bit of relatives from that side that I don’t even know about.”]
Tomina continued working on cleaning up the mess she had made while still conversing with him mentally. This was something new that she looked like she was going to have to get used to. Recently she had been running into beings who seemed to use all kinds of mental abilities. She expected she would encounter more like this with increasing frequency.
[“It figures my mother would go for one of the stronger bloodlines in the Elemi race. Strength was very appealing to you. You were just the screw that fit in the hole the right way. She didn’t really need you after that. And it really was a perfect fit: the blood running through my veins has a assured that I’ll one day be one of the strongest beings in the universe. Feel free to be as arrogant as you want father, as long as you have the right to be. There’s nothing wrong in having confidence if it’s warranted. I get why you didn’t visit me in my early years, but after the Empire collapsed I went from planet for 8 years. Either you couldn’t track me or you just didn’t bother to.”]
There was a twinge of bitterness in Tomina’s voice as she said those last lines. It wasn’t as though she regretting not having a Dad growing up. But clearly she wasn’t important to him at the time. The feeling of being overlooked by anyone was infuriating. Tomina scrubbed the floor ever harder, seemingly wanting to break through it with how vigorously she was going at it.
[“Alright then Ragnarok, since you’ve decided to drop in now, the least you can do is answer some questions. Start by telling me more about this organization you’re a part of, and about who I’m related to. Those two are quite simple things to answer, although I tend on asking the harder ones once I finish cleaning up here.”]
The girl was giving him quite the rundown. Seemed the mother really didn't like him all that well after the two got together. Ragnarok sighed and rolled up straight in his chair. Eyeing the young girl before him and giving her a hand gesture to 'hold' for the moment. If it wasn't for the fact basically every partner he had didn't care or hated him he wouldn't be so regressive in the next statement.
["And she told you this? Heh... well that's not much different a story from the others. Guess I deserve it for sleeping around and being active in my youth. You probably understand that notion right now better than I do. Guess I kicked myself in the gut for all of that."] It was hard for the higher standing man now to admit he had wronged in the past. Tomina, if this was really the saiyan girl, would have been one of Ragnarok's last minglings before he straightened up. It's been around ten years since he got the spot and served as a head chair for the organization. Still, at least he had the gut and rationale to own up to it calmly.
You couldn't say the same about his sister.
["I'll be honest, I'd rather much catch up in person but that doesn't seem to be an option for either of us as of now. The least I could do is accommodate the questions. Feels less personal this way but here it's... You have... a dozen? No, thirteen half siblings. You have an aunt and two uncles. Too many grandparents and cousins to count or even recall. Your great great grandma works at a strip on Earth. Just a little fun tidbit to know about. As for the organization, you realize we have no homeworld, correct? Elemi have always been foreigners. We had one from eons ago we found records on. With enough luck we can bind the race together and have a place to call home. Home World Reclamation Effort. Silly name I know, something zany like "The Terraformers" I thought would snag more attention but noooooOooOo. Our leader is a bit set in his ways. Which is why I was hoping you'd be able to hear me out on it. Perhaps past just seeing me as your father you'd find passion in the cause. Or don't. I mostly just care for us as a race being strong in body and mind. A homeworld can be moral boosting and unifying, but it will not stave away invaders. In fact it may invite them. The Planet Trade is still large for a reason. No, we need more like you. Like me. Like most of your siblings, really."] He'd go into detail a bit while taking drinks of his own coffee, watching the girl in the rom twist her thumbs around anxiously. She wasn't really sure what was going on.
"Oh sorry dear. Mental communication. Go ahead and start briefing me, I can multitask." Confident in that ability alone he cleared his mental throat and pinged Tomina. Reassuring connection.
["I'm ready for any big things you throw at me. I can't answer anything too confidential but please. Do go on."]

["No, she didn’t tell me anything about you specifically. She never even mentioned you by name. I knew her very well though. Better than you did from the sound of things. Many things were just a means to an end for her.”]
Tomina finished wiping off the wine, listening as her father told her about the family members that she had. Her first question came to her as she was rinsing off the towel in the sink.
["Heh, you sure went around. It must be convenient being a guy in that regard. You don’t have to worry about taking birth control. I’d push out a bastard every 9 months if I didn’t take precautions. Speaking of kids though, are there any notable strong siblings that I have? I’d like to know the names of the strong ones.”]
Tomina finished rinsing off her towel, and tossed it into her dirty clothes basket on her way out of the bathroom. Tomina didn't bother to hide the fact that she was disinterested in the weaker relatives. They simply weren't worth her time, and she wouldn't have to worry about any of them. She listened as he told her about his organization and the state of the Elemi race. She sat down on the edge of her bed, responding to him once he was finished talking.
["You’re right about a home world inviting invaders. I’m willing to bet it’s the reason why Elemi have stayed off the radar for so long. I don’t know if you’ve been keeping up with recent events, but planets are being destroyed and conquered on a regular basis. And it’s not going to stop anytime soon. You’re better off not having a Homeworld right now. Unless if you align yourself with an influential power.”]
Tomina decided not to mention the fact that she had played a huge role in the conquering and renaming of Planet Brench, and that her king now had a weapon that literally drained the life out of planets. She was going to keep things in as good of a light as possible. Although this was starting to seem like a huge opportunity to her. There was potential in here somewhere, but she had to know more.
[“Home World Reclamation Effort eh? Going by the name, your Homeworld still exists, but you can’t live on it for one reason or another. I can’t say that I’m interested in your clause. I understand not having a home, but my loyalty lies with the Empire that raised me, and the Saiyan race. Well, proper members of the Saiyan race to be more accurate. Unless you manage to inhabit the Elemi Homeworld in the near future, your options for actually owning your own planet means either buying one or conquering once. Since you haven't done the latter, it means either the Elemi race as a whole is too weak to conquer other planets, or it’s against your moral code.”]
Tomina crossed her legs, pressing her hands into the mattress as she made herself comfortable. This was starting to get really interesting. Although there were still some things that she just had to know. She intended to get as many answers as she could.
[“If I hadn’t become strong enough for you to sense from a long distance away, would you have ever bothered to contact me? Are you interested in your daughter, or just the strength that your daughter has? If you expect for me to help you just because you conceived me, think again. My loyalties will not waver, not even for those who share blood with me. If you want a tool, you've got thirteen others to choose from. I'm sure that at least one of them would be happy to help their dear old dad.”]
Once again, there was a twinge or bitter harshness in her voice when talking about Ragnarok's absense in her life. Tomina was going to make it perfectly clear that she was not going to just help him because they were related. Her mission was far too important to be swayed by even family. Especially family she had not heard from or even knew about for her entire life. She wasn't going to be used to help the Home World Reatoration effort. If he wanted help, then he would have to be forward with her about his intentions.
As Tomina responded to the older flame in kind the younger woman next to him started briefing over today's schedule and contact she's had with those back at HOME. He concentration was strained making sure he was taking in both of their discussions. He had plenty of experience with this though, having to mess with Flare beforehand. Mentally that is. In terms of her response she knew well enough about planets just blowing up and becoming inhospitable. Recently that is, and in full saiyan way went on to explain conquering as an option for a home. A majority of the oligarchy that controlled the HWRE were too passive and weak for that option and Ragnarok was against purging the weak himself. What actually set him off was the rightful suspicion of his motives. Would he really had bothered with trying to find her?
["It's not a matter of if I'd bothered with it. For the past several years I've tried to, when I had free time, make amends for my naive ways. You happened to be one of the few furthest out of my bounds to even consider visiting. I don't expect you to help me just from blood, that'd be even worse to try insinuating. No, if I wanted tools we had plenty of young ones back HOME that would fit the bill. Your power is great, and yes it is the reason why I was ABLE to contact you. That didn't mean I didn't care. If I didn't care I wouldn't have my subpar heran daughter Vitalerra here in front of me.
One wouldn't think you could think Elemi was weak just by nature. You've felt your own strength, and those of similar elemental fortitude. We have strength, we lack unity. Cutting out the fact the saiyan empire you work under is nothing short of barbarous the thing they do have is drive. Will. A goal. That's what makes them strong. No, most of our kind are far too complacent with taking things slowly. With conforming to other society's rules and culture. My sister, your aunt, she was a lowly Earthling mechanic of earthly vehicles, barely strong enough to pick off a fresh saibaman, before I interfered. And she would have continued on that path if I hadn't nudged her."]
Passion and fire was heard through his mental voice as he delivered more of a rant than anything, rubbing his chin and giving the heran, Vitalerra, attention as well in doing so. This chick in question seemed chy just off appearance, stuttering every few lines she was delivering.
["I've no comment on you sleeping around. You can do as you please. As far as strong siblings? My girl, you're the mightiest of them by lightyears. That is, with brute power. Be proud in that. You, however, are not the strongest in our family. No, that's reserved for your aunt. Flare. All the same energy, vibe, and heat I feel off you and more. Wrapped up inside a full blood elemi who was raised as an Earthling."]
The old flame looked aside the Heran and went to grab something inside the desk, fumbling around for some small disk that lit up s he touched it. Mid-conversation with Vitalerra he popped open this holodisk and started putting the conversation with the heran through it. Recording.
["Actually your aunt might become a problem for you if you aren't at least aware of what she's capable of and who she's against. Nasu, was it? Your glorious leader? It wasn't too long ago his life was threatened by some other saiyan. One you'd say isn't 'proper' by your standards, right? They're both warriors of Earth, allies. She'll be there if anyone, saiyan or not, comes around to try putting their claim to the already occupied blue sphere. I made sure of that myself."]

Tomina had set him off with her accusations from the sound of things. He definitely seemed genuinely angry. Although it was hard to tell if it was real or not from just a mental connection. She couldn’t exactly read his facial expressions or other reactions to confirm it one way or the other. Either way, she wasn’t going to bring up that particular subject matter again. He hadn’t visited her in a long time, and was nothing he could do to change the past. It was best to focus on the here and now. At the very least she could try to lighten the mood. It would make the conversations a bit easier hopefully. She didn’t want things turning into a pissing match. Then things would go nowhere.
[“Sorry, but I can’t be too careful these days. If I wasn’t this distrustful, I would have died a long time ago. I didn’t expect for you to care about my sex life. Not that I would change my sex life if you did. It’s funny that you bring up the Herans though. I had a threesome involving another Saiyan hybrid and a Heran recently. It was quite the fun night, let me tell you that. Can you patch in Vitalerra to this mental link for just a moment? Since she’s there, I might as well say hi to one of my sisters.”]
Tomina didn’t and likely would never care for any of her siblings. Especially after being told that she was by far the strongest She was interested as to what they were like though. She got off the bed, and walked out of her room and down the stairs.
[“You’re right, the Empire was barbaric by the standards of “civilized” races. And I hope to help make the Saiyan Galatic Kingdom every bit as barbaric as the Empire was. The Elemi race is one of the few races that has managed to escape what I’d like to call “the choice”. No doubt due to your unique circumstance of not having a homeworld of your own. Earth and its inhabitants have also escaped the choice so far. Flare seems to be yet another strong defender who has decided to protect that blue sphere for some reason. One day though, the Elemi and the Earthlings will be faced with the choice. You either live as conquerors and take out your enemies before they take out you. Or you live, or die, at the mercy of stronger species. It’s a choice every race has to make sooner or later. The Elemi are complacent and satisfied with where they’ve become used to peace. They don’t realize that they could lose everything in just a moment.”]
Tomina opened the front door, stepping outside and closing the door behind her. She just stood there in the doorway, looking off in the distance. Brench was a planet that orbited two stars. The smaller dwarf sun was about to set for the day, while the red giant still shone in the sky. This moment created a brief twilight, the sky around the blue dwarf tinged with purple hues. In the brief moment of solstice, Tomina stood silently. Soon there would be one star in the sky, and later still night would fall. No matter how many lights shone, the darkness always came back.
[“I have no doubt that this Flare would give me trouble. I know that I have a long way to go. From the start I knew that my strength paled in comparisons to the mightiest warriors. I’ve spent my whole life chasing them. For the first time I feel that the gap is starting to close. I’m beginning to understand that my Elemi side has influenced my transformations more then I would like to admit. You probably know more about it then I do. Tell me everything you know on Elemi transformations. You also mentioned that you pushed Flare to get stronger. What exactly is your game plan? I can guess your end goal going by the name of your organization, but I fail to see how making my aunt stronger and pushing her hard fits into things. Especially considering she probably didn’t even know much about your world’s politics going by what you told me. I don’t see an Earthling mechanic paying attention to galactic affairs. Unless of course some outside force made it necessary for them to.”]
He didn't quite expect the halfbreed to go on describing something sexual as that. And when he was referring to Herans. Ragnarok physically snorted and cracked a wide goofy smile at it which nearly sent the now seemingly timid Vita in a panic as she flinched and suddenly stopped the briefing she was giving. Ragnarok shook off the laugh quickly and shook his head, shutting his smile down hard.
"Oh, it's just this girl. The one's I'm telepathing. Actually, take a break for a moment. Tomina is wanting to say hi." Ragnarok tapped the holodisk on the desk to pause it. The suddenness confused the assistant even further. She looked around for a moment, expecting someone coming from behind her through the door.
"Huh?" Ragnarok pointed to his own head and winked at her.
["Think. We're all together now. We can all hear one another. Excuse any interference, doing it from this far is. A bit new -"] But at that moment the younger heran's mind started racing. Her mental message came across way too fast to be comprehended. it all ended up being a muffled mess that just gave the audacious flames a headache.
"Slow down hun. Giving me a headache. One thing at a time, please." Ragnarok rubbed his temples and took another drink of coffee as Vita, embarrassed, tried composing herself in her less comfortable chair. Straightening her hair, adjusting her gear and belongings. All the things, perhaps overdoing it just to have something in her hands to fidget around with.
["Hello? Is this right? Are you there?"] Her mental voice seemed withdrawn. Almost like it was held back by some inability she had. I was slow and meticulous, probably from training herself not to just think everything at once. Ragnarok continued to listen while Vita was sorta baffled that she was getting to hear it all in her head. When everything was said and done the audacious flame just had to laugh.
["Hahahah. That sounded somewhat hostile. So, you understand our plight but are set in your ways by loyalty to a race. I at least see their culture is consistent with teaching everyone it's all about prowess and abusing the lessers. I've no fear of confrontation but I'm not going to sully around and destroy civilizations just because I can. The squishier and lenient council members even less so. Figures the strongest of you kids would have a detrimental upbringing.
I can't exactly tell you why or how I push your aunt. Most of what I can say is that there is a reason for it. A very good one. I just can't tell. Trust me when I say she's well adjusted to dealing with galactic issues. She's met everyone in person who has been blowing entire civilizations. The fallen god King Caesar and Nasu both. She has a particular hate of them. One that drove her to where she is now."] Vita had been quiet for a while now, twiddling now with her thumbs and looking down s she heard her saiyan sibling be so calculative with possible destruction. It wasn't something she was comfortable with, being incredibly passive herself. Something very evident if Tomina were in person talking to her.
["That sounds harsh. Can't we just talk through things?"] Ragnarok himself knew it wasn't that easy, sighing physically at his daughter before standing up with his cup of joe in hand. He'd remain silent and see what this little tidbit would invite from the more aggressive Tomina.

When Ragnarok connected Vitalerra to the mental conversation, a torrent of words came pouring into Tomina’s mind. Her Heran sister had thoughts going a million miles per hour in her head from the sound of things. Tomina rubbed her temples with her fingertips, trying to alleviate the headache she was getting. Eventually her sister did manage to calm down enough to talk to her.
[“I can hear you loud and clear. I’m sure Ragna has told you about me. I’m Tomina. I didn’t expect to have this many relatives, but here we are.”]
Tomina sighed as her father told her about the Elemi’s views on combat. She figured as such. She could feel her headache growing ever stronger. Why did the rest of her family have to be this passive?
[“Oh, we have our reasons. Every other race is an enemy. You crush them before they become strong and crush you. I also have my own personal reasons for fighting. Do I have fun slaughtering lesser beings under my foot? You bet I do. I love a good fight and vanquishing my foes. My pleasure in fighting is always secondary to my objectives. There are some Saiyans who make the pleasure of fighting their number one priority. But that’s sloppy and unprofessional, and leads to mistakes. There’s a short list of things that I do where the goal is just to have fun. For everything else, having fun is just a part of the experience.”]
Tomina floated up into the air slowly, her feet touching down on the roof of her house. A gentle breeze blew through her hair as she stared at the horizon.
[“Let me get this straight. You contact me for the first time in 18 years, tell me that I have an aunt who you pushed in order to make her more powerful, who is both stronger than me and doesn’t like my king, and then don’t tell me how or why you pushed her to get stronger. It seems to be a forgone conclusion that I, or at least someone in the Saiyan Galactic Kingdom, is going to have to fight her. Unless if you start telling me what she’s capable of and her fighting style, then this entire conversation is meaningless. At the very least tell me about all you know about Elemi transformations, as I asked earlier. The more I know about my Elemi side, the easier it will be to get stronger.”]
Tomina wasn’t even bothering trying to hide her frustration anymore. Her headache was getting very noticeable now. She pressed her fingers firmly against her temple as rubbed it. At least the wind was cool and the air was crisp. When her sister asked if she had to fight, Tomina decided to have a little fun with her. Maybe it would help with the headache she had right now.
["And I thought the Heran I spent the night with was the most passive Heran I've ever met. Your race is notorious for being as ruthless as the Saiyans, yet here you are looking for an answer to things that doesn't involve fighting! It’s too late to talk things out Vita. It's a waste of time anyway, since it only serves to give me a migraine. Alliance Saiyans are insufferable to listen to. Besides, I’ve spent my entire life training to fight and defeat my enemies. I’d love to tell you why, but I don’t feel like talking about it. Maybe I’ll open up if dear old dad decides to stop being secretive about things. I suppose everyone has skeletons in their closet though. That reminds me, I need to re-organize my skull collection. See I have a wardrobe, so I just keep the skulls of the enemies I defeat in my closet. I’ve got to add and catalog the Brenchians I offed.”]
Tomina wished she could see the look on her sister's face right now. Sadly the mental connection didn’t allow for that. Considering how ruthless she was and how her father had been talking about her, she would not be surprised if Vita actually believed she kept the skulls of her enemies in her closet. Tomina was barbaric, but she wasn’t insane. At least, not entirely insane.
["Skeletons? Are you joking? And... why the race stuff."]
Vita felt herself shake a bit as Tomina jokingly spoke of the skeletons and the degenerative value of her passive nature. Well, she was sort of shaken through most of the conversation actually. Having any sibling so vicious would, at least to her. Ragnarok was having fun just watching her squirm himself but the way she brought up her ways of fighting and killing. Wasteful. Not only that she started prying more into his secretive work, like she wasn't working under someone who went against his ideals.
["Killing off potential allies or tools is wasteful girl. Slaughtering the enemy indiscriminately, it leaves nothing of substance. I find it more interesting to watch people try to deal with reality. Overcome obstacles and threats. There's no threat to be had if you easily put them down, is there? A good fight would happen if you let them grow more. But I suppose that'd get in the way of your pillaging.
I have a good reason for not telling you much more about Flare. It's not like I don't know you'll most likely have to face her should the saiyans continue plundering planets. She's usable, if I give you the tools to destroy her she'd be of no use. Besides, she's kind of my sister. Who doesn't want a strong sibling who's a passionate, empathetic Earthling? A lot will use that empathy to put you as a main priority even above themselves should push come to shove.
Assuming you knew how you felt when you first transformed I've taken notice that those able are passionate, desperate, angry. Something along those lines. The emotion swells up to fuel their powerful forms. Judging by what I seen from multiple elemi I can confirm that it's more akin to a super saiyan transformation than anything else I witnessed. What am I meaning by that? The potential is there to go further.
Your Aunt has gone further than that initial step."]
Ragnarok turned to look out of the large clear pane back behind his desk. It's current view of the blue planet was clear and marvelous. Almost breathtaking. He had seen it too many times now but it still was a gentle place. Maybe it'd calm him down before he got riled. Still, he did plenty better than what his sister would have done by now.
["That's the problem, Tomina. You and most of that Kingdom of yours thinks everyone is an enemy. That everyone's out to get them. There are no boogiemen anymore dear. It's been shown that anyone from anyone can harbor betrayal and aggression to eliminate entire cities. Worlds. Races. Do you really think Nasu is helping preserve the saiyan race by wiping out other saiyans and passive societies?
What your mother taught you was filth. Disgusting tribalism that is selfish to the point of detriment. You will always find more people willing to stand against you when you make a monster of yourself. You think you can just eliminate entire worlds and think that anyone is safer for it? You give the saiyans too much credit.
They are bullies. Simple as that. If you were wise you'd pick fights more carefully. I guess you can't expect a culture so prideful and arrogant as the Kingdom's to get that however."]

[“pfffft! You really thought I actually kept skulls in my closet! My dear sister, why would I do something like that? The dead deserve more respect then that, even if they are enemies. Having Fire abilities is rather convenient. I get to cremate my fallen enemies easily. It makes for an easy clean up. And race matters quite a bit. Although in this case I was just pointing out how peace loving you are for a Heran. If you’ve met as many Heran’s as I have, you’d realize how unusual you are. But I suppose you get your peaceful nature from your Elemi side. Fortunately I’m just as ruthless as the other Saiyans despite my heritage.”]
Tomina chuckled, shaking her head from side to side. Man, was it fun to mess with her little sister. She was pure little flower. Flowers were very delicate things, so they bent easily and were ideal for toying with. Although her good mood evaporated once her father started talking again. There he was just calling all her ideals and beliefs trash. She sat on the edge of the roof, dangling her feet off the edge.
[“Boogymen. Tell me father, do boogymen attack you without provocation, start a war that lasts 200 years, and then blow up your Homeworld? That’s what the Kold Empire did Two centuries ago. We managed to restore our planet and pay them back in full. Nasu signed a peace treaty with Caesar and his Empire. A treaty which he fully kept his word on by the way. Caesar decided to break the treaty on a whim and blow up Natto. I suppose that was just all in Nasu’s head. The nonexistant boogyman can’t blow up planets after all. And when I was 10, my home world was attacked by the traitorous Alliance! They killed Everyone! EVERYONE I EVER CARED FOR!!!”]
Tomina threw an energy ball at her chimney, shattering it into pieces of rubble. Flames shot up around Tomina. Tomina tried breathing heavily, trying to calm herself down. After half a minute, the flames quieted down, and she got into a good enough state to talk again.
[“Whether your intentions are peaceful or you live to fight, it doesn’t matter. The universe is a cruel place that can and will take everything from you in an instant. It’s better to be strong and merciless then it to be trampled upon. When one of your major enemies for years are the Kold Demons and all the races they controlled, then litterally everyone has been our enemy for the past couple of centuries.”]
Tomina sighed, jumping off the roof and landing on the ground. She walked over to the door, opening it and going inside.
[“Talking to you is like trying to talk to an Alliance Saiyan. It goes absolutely nowhere every time and leaves me pissed at the end of it. So I’m just going to ask you one final question. If me and Flare were locked in a power beam struggle, and the loser of the struggle was certain to die, who would you save?”]
Tomina plopped down onto the bed, contemplating the things her father told her about her abilities. So there was at least one more level of transformation, and Flare had reached it. Well that was fine with her. That would be her next goal.
