Planet 709.
It's icy exterior was a lot like her own planet, and yet, there were nothing more than beasts here. Strong and fast, as one would expect from a group of hulking apes that ran on all fours, but it was a wonder how they survived.
As far as she could tell, there were no animals around in sight. Any carcasses were likely to be buried, and peeking her head into the caves she had come across from being on this planet, she only found bed-sized fur.
Excusing the lack of interesting life, the planet was still one that could be sold. Perhaps as a vacation spot of sorts for one of the more other species, who felt themselves deserving of having a whole place to themselves.
A common mindset by far to have such an opinion of one's self, but this sort needed to entertain themselves somehow. She had came to this planet in the hopes of training, having seen it on a list of planets needed to be scoped out.
They had people to do such things of course, like the Bas, but when the empire of your people seemed to be taking a turn for the worst, it was better to take matters into her own hands. What other choice did she have?
The other Kold Demons were susceptible into continuing like normal, as if nothing was out of order. But to live with ignorance and the potential that their way of life could end, was not what she wanted.
They were cultured to an extent, and for their society to potentially crumble without a fitting leader, as much as she disliked to say it, made them no better than the Saiyans. Those monkeys were always finding themselves drifting in and out of what they considered to be news. They could be on the brink of extinction one moment, only for a Supidoan or Brenchian, whichever one of those two self-proclaimed speed demons, to find out otherwise.
The seed of a Saiyan could find its place half across the galaxy, and for it to only be known of, because the monkey from that home world, wanted to go and explore. To become less brutish as she knew all Saiyans could be.
So say the legends of their different forms. Ever so angry and violent, not like ones she had access to. But her forms weren't one she needed to use, unless challenged, whether by one of her own or otherwise. To be in this first form of hers for a fight that could lead towards her death would be a mistake. Though not one she was often pushed to do.
The crinkling of snow beneath her feet, was one that left imprints in the ground, easily buried by what seemed to be an endless drift of snow, should she allow it to. But while she could appreciate a nice long walk, let it never be said that she would go a day without training. Her hands had yet to grasp the warmth a workout could bring, since arriving on this planet. An easy fix, she mused to herself, as she held up a single fingertip pointed towards the sky.
Gathering ki at its center, her finger would grow an orb on its tip, which she still held and kept focus, even as she took a dash forward through this unending snow fall. The Brenchian and Supidoans liked to pride themselves on their speed. Surely, while her body wasn't quite built up for it, she should be able to reach the same if she tried?
The focus of ki she had gathered at her fingertip, was released, as she had traveled the distance she wanted, lighting up the sky with its red hue. That snow white sky briefly parted away for this red glow to be more viewable to her eyes, and as it started to recede and fade away, she had dashed back to where she had been before.
There was no measure of time she had on her, just a feeling of what felt right. Shaking her head in displeasure, she knew that she could do better. Especially knowing those two had the kind of energy to move at this speed for hours.
She took off again, dashing to a distance that she saw was enough, briefly taking in her surroundings, before speeding off again. Movements she continued to put into play, like it was some dance. But as her muscles became adjusted to the feats of speed she was trying to display, she was able to find comfort into throwing punches and kicks.
With the way she made momentary pauses, accompanied by blows she actually threw out, it was like the strike she had given, was only the catalyst for starting up another set. Such an impression was nothing intentional on her part.
So often she found when charging at an opponent, that they were already prepared to block her blows, or deal their own to make her stronger ones less painful. A bout of who could last the longest was what it essentially was.
The strides she took to fall back however, was a remedy in preventing that. Or at least was supposed to be. For the more stubborn that just didn't know when to leave her alone, she had other plans for them. Overpowering an opponent to hurt them, and doing it just to tire them out, were two different things that started with the same process.
She didn't have a preference for either one, though the latter was certainly the easiest, when it came to settling disputes if timed right. If memory served her right, the last time she had gone this route, she had been able to pin down a Kold Demon who was in his third form, while she stayed in her second. That was always a delight.
Sighing happily at the memory coming to her mind, a sudden presence of numerous signatures, had snapped her away from those thoughts. The source came from the skies, indicating that someone was choosing to land on this isolated planet.
Her ki signature shouldn't have been able to be detected though. Not unless one of these presences had really fancy learning to detect power levels beyond what was necessary. Who in their right mind would go to such lengths to feel another's presence? Tail swishing behind her, she took flight into the air, and headed towards these numerous signatures. Best case scenario it was just a couple of space tourists looking to unwind for a few hours.
Worst case scenario, going off of what she could feel of their power levels, they were brutes that wanted to attack anything in their sight. The Saiyans might have been able to survive hell and back, but she was a Kold Demon.
The potential she had when it came to power with just a little training, was far beyond the average alien her own kind often came across. She had nothing to worry of. They were strong and capable of being able to rival most.
From the skies, a massive ship she had recognized to be like the models her own people had, slowly landed down a distance away from her. Though the big bold letters that identified it as a Capsule Corp brand ship, made it quite obvious it wasn't one. Great. So this must have been a ship with humans, or at least those associated with them.
Leave it to earthlings to go somewhere they likely had no clue about. And for what? Those artifacts that a certain sort keep obsessing about? She couldn't remember the last time she heard of them being used, but gathering those things was just asking to be targeted by other hopefuls wishing to go and grab themselves a wish.
It wasn't worth it. She had in mind to tell them this too, though she held onto that thought, as they came out of the ship. The sight of a brunette struck her first, leading the rest of this group. Young. Human. Incredibly pale.
Made her almost toy with the idea, that this was the first time the poor thing saw daylight. Clearly the leader, from what she could feel of the girl's power level, and the rest of her eyes had glanced at the rest, finding similar pale looking humans. Good lord. Now this was a sight you didn't see everyday. A group of pale humans, coming out of a massive ship. And they had a Supidoan, Majin, and Saiyan with them? Oh my, there was a joke in there somewhere.
Maybe even a story to one of the other Kold Demons she knew, given the time to think about this in a more entertaining light than it already was. Her body twitched, feeling a sudden spike of power coming from the direction she had just turned away from. Looking back, she found the brunette now had glowing red eyes, and absolutely horrid looking face.
"Why hello. Welcome. How can I help you folks?"
Even so, there wasn't a need to be rude about it.
