It had been quite a while since Lucky and the Galactic Patrol had met up with the saiyans that had been inhabiting planet Earth, as well as the guardian’s assistant. They had chosen to stay by their ship, collecting data from there before going out again. It seemed people weren’t too impressed with their presence here on Earth, even though they meant no harm.
That morning Lucky decided to sneak out of the ship at the break of dawn, careful not to make a sound so that she didn’t wake anyone up. She snuck her way outside and quickly took off the first chance she got! She would run and run as fast as she could, and while she couldn’t fly, she was fast as all hell! It took her only about an hour of running to reach Korrin’s Tower.
She stared up at the intimidating structure, grinning from one ear to the next as she debated her next move. Admitedly this would be ridiculously easy if she could fly, but since she couldn’t, well she’d h ave to take the long way up.
“Okay Lucky! You got this! You’ve done way worse in the Patrol Academy!” She coaxed herself, slapping her cheeks once before leaping onto the tower. She gripped it tightly and started to climb it with incredible speed! Up and up and up she went until the ground started to look fake. She looked up after pausing, still not even seeing the top of the tower and sticking her tongue out at it.
“If Miss Cleo can make it up here then so can I! I have to get to the top... with everything going on... I need to... make sure Kami is.... okay!!” She cheered herself on as she continued her climb. She finally made it to the point that the clouds were hiding the Earth below before she had to stop and take a breather. Her muscles were killing her already and there was really nowhere to rest yet. Okay so maybe it was a horrible idea to do this alone… Hermes or Medusa could of just flown her up there…
She shook her head and brushed her fluffy tail against her face to snap her out of her negative thinking. It was just a little bit further right!
With her second wind, Lucky continued to climb the tower, higher and higher still, her heart pounding furiously inside of her chest. Finally! She could see what she thought was the top! Korrin’s place! She just assumed that this was the lookout itself and began to climb much more rapidly until she reached the platform. She let herself collapse onto the ground, laughing loudly as she punched the air in success.
“I made i-” She paused. Was the tower still going up higher!? Was this not it??!! She looked around herself and noted just how small Korrin’s place really was… maybe it was just a place to rest before continuing on the journey. She sighed as she let herself rest for a moment, allowing her muscles to relax before pushing herself back up to her feet.
“Okay… just a bit more… Don’t fail me now muscles.” Lucky coaxed before climbing the outside of Korrin’s place and continuing to climb the tower. It felt like another forever before Lucky was finally able to see the base of the lookout! While she tried to hurry, she slowed down nearly to a crawl as she found the staircase and made her way up onto it’s surface.
Once on top, Lucky let herself collapse again, this time face first onto the tiles of the lookout, breathing heavily and just… refusing to move for the moment as her body tried to adjust to her climb and the new pressure of being so high up in the air. WC: 650

The tower wasn't exactly a happy place for Hasenya. From what she could remember of being a small child on Earth, the lookout was more of.. well, a sniper's tower, for lack of better description. Nothing was safe for long if it couldn't hide its power level, and if it couldn't death would come swiftly and abruptly. Though she stood at its base in this still yet-to-be-ruined timeline where the grass was green and the skies were still blue, she found her own eyes would betray her and place her back in a time where the planet was void of life, in a state where you could almost hear the planet crying out in agony. In those times, Earth was like a horse with a broken leg, needing to be put out of its misery. Hasenya herself had neither the power nor the heart to utterly destroy it though, and Excalibur was far from up to the task. Speaking of Excalibur, the sword was still awfully silent resting on her back after she arrived in this time. It was more than just a little concerning, given how often the motherly nature within the blade enjoyed poking in on all of the her personal thoughts and feelings. Not that she wasn't thankful, when she thought about it she really did need a person like that watching her back.
"Please be okay, Excalibur.." Hasenya let out an irritated sigh and peeked over the edge of the lookout down towards the ground and or the layer of clouds that occasionally wrapped around the base of the spire. Maybe if the sword were awake and had a say in her actions, she wouldn't have to smoke as much. Or if Jie or another member of the ESF had been on the lookout like she expected, she might expect the same sort of intervention, though she doubted most would care without knowing exactly who she was and where she came from. Those thoughts only made her feel even worse, though. Guilt wouldn't stop her from committing this act, since at this point it was her only relief from the flashbacks and nightmares that insisted on haunting her despite her main goal had been completed. Besides, it was easy was easy to speculate and theorize that, given her new condition, it might be actually good for her health.
Hasenya shrugged and stepped away from the ledge, brushing off the thoughts that distracted her from that sweet and yet poisonous relief. She was just about to light one up too, before the sound of person-hitting-ground behind her came so suddenly that it startled her bad enough to send the cigarette flying off the lookout. For a brief moment she thought Excalibur had more power over reality than she original thought and was trying her damnedest to keep her away from her addiction, despite clearly being in some kind of hibernation. She let out a low, irritated groan and turned to look down at Lucky. She gave a quizzical look and arched a brow with a tilt of her head, trying to determine who this person was. If she had some key role in Hasenya's time, she either never noticed or just couldn't remember it right at that moment. If it were relevant, it would certainly come to her as a harsh reminder in the form of another flashback or nightmare.
She extended a hand, open-palmed facing up towards the sky and lifting it slowly. As if in response to her movements, a cloud of smoke formed under the exhausted little redhead and helped her up to her feet as carefully as possible before Hasenya stepped forward and took hold of her shoulder to keep her steady in case she might flop over like a fish out of water again. Call her lazy, if you will, but you could just as easily call it 'using what her mamma gave her' except more literally and a lot less sexually. Climbing up the lookout was sure to be an exhausting chore for someone who couldn't or wouldn't simply fly, so Hasenya could at least try and be polite to a stranger for once. Especially when it was the first (hopefully) not crazy, not (again, hopefully) evil person she'd seen in at least five or six years.
"hmfomgimadehuffitallthehngwayuphaaaimsoexhaustedihmphneverwannagetupaaarg... Hunh?" She had been mumbling nonsense into the cold tiles of the lookout, the cold feeling wonderful against her exhausted muscles. She just wanted to lie there forever! However she wasn't given that opportunity, instead a cloud of smoke came over and lifted her up from the ground, standing her straight up and she was suddenly looking into the eyes of an older woman. She had to blink rapidly to compose herself before...
"HUUUUUUUUUNH!? THERE'S ACTUALLY SOMEONE HERE!! HI!! My name is Lucky Red!! It's a pleasure to meet you miss! I came all the way up here looking for Kami! Are you Kami? Because if you are BOY am I happy to see that you're okay!" Her energy suddenly returned to her as she was embraced by the heat of this smoke. Her mouth would run wild with excitement as she was faced with an actual sentient being! She had been so worried that she would have climbed all the way up here for nothing! That miss Cleo might not have told her the truth and there was no kami at all!
In fact she wondered just how much further she had to go to get into space... honestly the air was pretty thin up here... maybe that was why she was feeling so light headed and bubbly? She couldn't be sure because she waaaaaas pretty excited right now! So much so that her fluffy red Kitsune tail was swaying behind her rapidly.

Hasenya drew the smoke that had been the cloud the little red Kitsune was lifted up by back to her, letting it wrap around her fingers before seeping into her skin, back to the source that it had come from. She winced in response to the volume of Lucky's voice, one eye squinting as she looked back at her and arched a brow. "Jeez, okay, yeah. I hear you loud and clear, Red.. Tone it down." She grumbled, massaging at one of her temples. She pursed her lips and blinked when she had realized how crotchety she sounded, especially for someone who was just twenty-one. The Elemi cleared her throat and lowered her own hand back to her side, lips still pursed while she tried to quickly think of a way to fix that horrible first impression she likely just made. The little fox was clearly out looking for the Kami, and Hasenya didn't know who the current holder of the title was- If there were one at all, since in her timeline the title was useless. The thing Hasenya needed most right now was friends and allies, and she was convinced that giving disappointing information to the Kitsune might make things between the two a little more worse.
She might regret it later, or maybe not if she played her cards right. If she were to fake being the Kami, she could keep from telling people the first damn thing she did in this timeline was hurt a little girl's feelings.. Or at least, she assumed she was young. From what she remembered, Kitsune aged differently from other Earth races, and she wasn't too well informed on this particular race. For all she knew, this half-pint of red kool-aid jam packed full of sugar could be double or triple her age. Hasenya let out a deep sigh through her nostrils, muttering an apology to Excalibur in the back of her mind before she straightened her composure in some attempt to put on a more friendly demeanor for the bubbly little redhead. Even if it were a lie, this would help her establish connections that would bring her closer to those associated with the Kami and or with the previously appointed holder of the title. "You said you were looking for the Kami, yeah? What's a little one like you need the Kami for?" The hybrid ended her question in a much lighter, approachable tone of voice than when she had first told off Red. "Well I mean, you're looking right at 'er so may as well kill two birds with one stone." She added on, reaching forward to place her hand atop the Kitsune's head and russle her hair just a bit.
Excalibur was so gonna kick her ass for this. Arms and legs tied, given it had neither.
The young girls ears drooped when she was told to tone it down, though that was barely visible due to the armor covering most of them. She didn't look saddened or anything, but her words reminded the young hybrid that she did need to try and calm down a touch... her instructors had been very clear on that in the academy.
"I'm sorry, I just got a little excited is all!" She quickly apologized, watching the woman's rough movements with a raised eyebrow. Just who was this lady to be on Kami's lookout? She wasn't exactly what she had pictured in terms of a guardian... having grown up in the Galactic Patrol she was used to people being rather uptight about position and rank and all that jazz, she supposed she expected Kami to be the same... but as the woman indicated she was in fact the Kami, and Lucky really only had the option of taking her word at face value.
"Well thank goodness! I don't need Kami or anything like that... I just wanted to make sure that you were still safe! There's a lot going on down below and... hey if you're the Guardian of this planet shouldn't you be down there fighting too?? There's a lot of people dying right now, civilians and warriors... I mean the galactic patrol would interfere but we're not exactly strong enough to even tussle with their weaker warriors..." She noted as she looked the Kami over from head to toe. She then moved forward and reached for her hand, taking it into her own and attemptin in vain to drag her towards the edge of the lookout to try and usher her into action.
Hasenya didn't oppose the attempt at gripping her hand, because she didn't think that this little redhead would be strong enough in comparison to her to drag her anywhere. Lo and behold, though, she was actually rather easily being moved from her current position, which caused her eyes to widen in slight panic. "Hey, hey h-hey.. There's no need to drag me around." The smokey Elemi insisted, tugging with her gripped arm to get the tinier hybrid to stop, if only for a brief moment. If what she said was true, what chance did Hasenya have against even the lower warriors threatening the planet if this little half-pint could go dragging her around? Too much information was trying to be processed at the same time she was being dragged to what might as well have been her impending death, but panicking would solve nothing. She took a deep breath and exerted her will over her gripped arm, wincing as solid converted to gaseous form, the Elemi's entire arm disappeared.. or rather, it materialized into a cloud of smoke. This way, Hasenya could easily pull away before she willed her arm to return to it's original state. It was likely an odd process to watch, if Lucky had been paying any attention anyway.
"Alright, slow down Red. We need to approach this with a bit more caution before we go swan diving off the lookout." She waved the newly re-materialized hand with a shake of her head. Had she not aimed to travel back to days that were peaceful? This could only mean she had either overshot or undershot the mark slightly if not completely. This was a pain in the ass; asking too many questions might get her caught in the middle of her lie. She did have an idea, though. "I was injured during the initial fighting so I've been up here where it's trying to recover. I'm not sure what those bastards did to me, but I can't even get off a simple fireball and Excalibur is unresponsive." She explained, making sure to add in some of that natural bitterness to her tone to add a little more mock sincerity to her words. Well, it wasn't entirely a lie, she really couldn't get off a simple fireball and Excalibur hadn't said a word to her since she arrived in this timeline. The lie was the part about her saying she had no idea why things were that way.
She sighed, even if she were this weak and even if she weren't really the Kami, Lucky was right. As a guardian of the planet- even if not held to such a high title as Kami- she should be down there fighting. It'd be futile to even try engaging in real combat, was the issue. "I don't mean to disappoint you but my power, as it is now, is nowhere near as strong as even their lower warriors. Right now, my power isn't even anywhere near yours, Red. That's why we need to be careful and consider are options more thoroughly. Am I making sense?"
"OH!" Lucky raised her hands above her head as Hasenya's arm just vanished from her grasp. She looked at Hasenya curiously, wondering why it was she was refusing to jump into action! The young hybrid couldn't read power levels so really had no idea that even she was stronger than the Kami was. Hasenya went on to tell her to slow down again and that they should approach this with more caution... if they approached it with any more caution there wouldn't be a planet left to guard and that would look reaaaaaaaaaaally horrible on her report back to the patrol... this was her first mission out after-all!
She suddenly felt like Hermes, thinking about how much of a bother this all was and wishing she had an easier assignment, one where she could actually do something about the bad guys running around... was the Galactic Patrol really that far behind in terms of strength?
Hasenya then went on to explain that she was injured and Lucky winced, bringing her hands to her mouth as she promptly apologized for her rude behavior!
"I'm so sorry I didn't know! I didn't hurt you or anything did I!? I mean of course not you're Kami so it's not like I could hurt you but... wow I'm sorry I just... I feel so helpless! I'm supposed to be a great leader like my parents... but ever since I came out on my own patrol I just haven't been able to do a single thing about all the bad guys on Earth... The galaxy really isn't looking good and there's nothing I can do about it... I'm sorry..." She stated with a sudden saddened look to her eyes. It wasn't like she was about to cry but the hopelessness of everything was really starting to get to her... She was starting to think she might not have such a long career ahead of her if she kept having guys like this thrown at her. She took in a deep breath suddenly, then lowered herself onto the ground, kneeling on the tiles before Hasenya and looking up towards the older woman as she placed her hands on her knees.
"I understand. So... how are we going to save planet Earth?"
Hasenya inhaled and let out a deep sigh through her nostrils as she tried to process the question, and then come up with some sort of answer that wouldn't worsen the little redhead's mood. The Elemi's lips tightened into a thin line for a brief moment as she crossed her arms across her chest. If she had arrived in the time she was sure she had, then there was very little that could be done to save Earth beyond beating down people that were too far out of her and Lucky Red's league. "I.. Don't think we can, Red. Even if we start training right at this very moment and give it our all without even one break we wouldn't have enough time to catch up to everyone else." Hasenya spoke carefully, making sure she worded things in such a way that wouldn't give away the fact she wasn't who she said she was. While she didn't have the ability to sense Ki, she did have the future and the stories told to her for a good reference as to what the more important figures in the universes levels of power were. Given that even in her own timeline she never caught up to them, it was easy to assume then that she was even further behind from them than she had been in her own timeline.
There was an alternative to just leaving the Earth for dead and giving up on the idea of trying to train at least a bit, though. Hasenya just wasn't sure if that were to be crossing her boundary in her false faked position. She glanced back over her shoulder towards the big building in the center of the lookout and let out a sigh. In her own timeline, the Time Chamber hadn't been an option since it was kinda.. blown up and all. The time traveler couldn't help but cringe as she thought about how useful it could've been if she had been given even just a month in that thing before her final showdown prior to traveling to this point in time. "The situation is not as hopeless as it seems. Just remember, dying here and now on this planet would be a waste. If we can live to fight another day somewhere else, we're going to take that option, no matter how much it hurts." Hasenya stated firmly, her gaze turning back to Red.
The more the little kitsune spoke about herself, the more Hasenya was starting to catch on to who this little rascal was back in her own timeline. It surprised her to see the leader of the Galactic Patrol in this state- on her knees and feeling hopeless over what seemed like everything. If they were to skip twenty years ahead, Red's reactions just might be a little more different. Though Hasenya was glad that wasn't the case, as a 36 Lucky Red was surely far less gullible than a teenage one.
"Hmmm...." Lucky lowered her head a little bit, her eyes focusing on the white tiles underneath her. There had to be something that they could at least do to help them, even if they couldn't fight directly. Lucky herself wasn't much of one for support but she couldn't stand sitting here feeling so helpless! She had to get better, she had to be able to help! What good was the Galactic Patrol if all they did was standby and watch while those weaker than them suffered... She hadn't even been the one to execute the command to evacuate Earth... she didn't have ships to take them.
"I'm just... sick and tired of sitting on the sidelines. I always have to rely on my team mates for everything and now, we can't even do a single thing against the dark forces on this planet. Even if I don't get strong enough to fight, can you maybe teach me some basics? I'm good with hand to hand combat, but I can't even fly... Maybe if I were at least able to get around faster then I could at least help the wounded escape." She would say wit a determined tone. She wouldn't look back up towards Hasenya, instead she lowered herself further to the ground, putting herself in a position that looked like she was begging.
"Please train me Kami-chan... all I have is a family name and a determination to do good... but the Academy won't teach me anything yet, so I can't be as good as I need to be. I want to help any way I can. Please." She asked of her, staying down in that position until Hasenya would ask her to get up. She didn't care how awkward it made Kami feel, it was a bit manipulative on her part, but she had to do this! Not just for her but for the greater good!
Hasenya couldn't help but crack a smile and then even chuckle at the little red fox girl. The comparison between this Red and the one that she knew contrasted so heavily that it was honestly comical. But based off what she was saying now, she had definitely become all the things she seemed to express wanting. That made Hasenya's up and coming pep talk much easier to come up with on the fly. The older female uncrossed her arms and shoved them into her pockets, a bright smile appearing on her face in response to Lucky's enthusiasm and determination towards being some sort of savior.
"I was just like you once, you know.. I wanted to be independent, strong, and the hero our universe needs. But being as young as I was at that time, I didn't understand all the huge costs that came with that. People I loved died, sometimes right before my very eyes, and I've watched the life be drained from planets until they were just lifeless rocks drifting in the cold darkness of space. Horrors beyond what someone your age should be able to comprehend, but unfortunately we don't live in such simple times anymore. I'm going to say to you what a woman even stronger than I once said to me in one of my darkest hours." Hasenya leaned in to be merely inches from Red's face, her smile fading into a far more stern expression as she continued to speak in a lower tone of voice. "Ignorance is bliss, and youth is an unpenetrable shelter from everything this nearly doomed universe can throw at you. Right here, right now, if you want to see to it that people not only survive but thrive you have to give those things up. You can't be a kid anymore once that's said and done. Once you take the first step, you can't take it back."
While Hasenya repeated those words she had heard oh so long ago, even she could still feel the weight behind them. Unfortunately for poor little Red, she had another bit to add on. "Death is an every day occurence in this business. And still there are things worse than that waiting for you once our training begins. Things that'll beat you down and lift you up just to beat you back down again. But if you are truly sincere in your desires to be the best hero that ever fucking hero'd, then you should be able to stand and tell me- once again- what it is that you want me to do for you to help you reach those goals of yours."
She stood up straight with a deep sigh, letting all that seriousness roll off her shoulders. "If it helps, if you decide to really go through with going under my training, you're not gonna be alone through anything." The smokey elemi muttered and then gave an irritated look as a thought crossed her mind. "Kais, I sound like such an old lady sometimes. I'm not even that much older than you!" Hasenya shook her head, maybe that thought would help lighten the mood if only ever so slightly.
Red would finally straighten up and sit back on her legs as she looked up to Hasenya, listening to her speech intently. The way she was speaking, the events she referred too didn't make sense to her. She spoke of dying worlds, of life being drained from them... wasn't Kami supposed to be bound to this lookout? That was according to her research anyways... plus she hadn't heard of any worlds being drained of life recently... but then again it wasn't like they would tell her everything.
She continued to listen in silence, offering up a bit of a smile when she spoke of all the horrors somsone like her could face, that she had to abandon her innocence as a child to truly achieve the rank of Hero. Hadn't Hasenya been listening? She was a part of the Galactic Patrol... she might still be fresh out of the Academy but she had seen plenty of things already. She had seen people die, she had even killed people, albeit not by choice... It was a difficult job to be a Patroller.
"Miss Kami, don't forget that I am from the Galactic Patrol. I'm the youngest agent ever to have graduated the Academy. I'm young and just a kid but...I've been on planets at war, I've seen death, though I"ve never lost friends. I knew what it meant when I joined the Patrol, and I still know what it means to be a Hero... I know what I have to do, and I need your help." She admonished as she finally pushed herself back up to her feet instead of getting for Hasenya to train her again. This time the little Kitsune hybrid would stand tall, as was befitting of her fathers race, a Konatsian.
"If you'll have me Miss Kami, please train me to become a Hero." She asked seriously, though cracking a smile when she called herself old. Honestly, Hasenya reminded her a lot of her father in terms of personality. It was reassuring to be asking someone so similar to him train ehr.
Hasenya took note of the smile with an arched brow and the tilting of her head to her left. She shouldn't have expected anything less of a future officer, but truly even with all her extra knowledge she could not have anticipated such an enthusiastic response. The Elemi was expecting uncertainty- if only just a little bit of it initially. She knew that the little redhead would ultimately pull through and take her up on the offer, basing that prediction off how the future version of the little kitsune acted. Seemed she didn't know her friends as much as she liked to think, so she'd have to be a little more careful about how she tried to influence the future with these interactions of hers. Hasenya wasn't mad, however, in fact she couldn't really help but smile back at the shorter female and nod. "Of course I'll have you, I really admire your commitment to this whole thing. Even for someone so young I can't help but respect you as if you were already grown." She was partially joking, but there was definitely sincerity to her words. Hasenya could definitely see the Konatsian in her new little student. It made her look older and stronger in a way, there was no real physical change other than the way she seemed to carry herself but the atmosphere and energy she gave off made Hasenya smile way more brightly than she had in a very long time.
With an agreement made, Hasenya took a quick look around the lookout and then back down at Lucky Red. "How much do you know about using swords? Or rather, I suppose a better question is: how much do you know about channeling Ki energy into weapons?" It was a good place to start- it was a simple technique and she knew that if Red could pull that off she could most definitely pull off flying. The extra offensive capabilities with a good weapon might also be a life saver in the future when things really started to pick up and get nasty. The smokey Elemi reached back and gripped the handle of Excalibur, pulling it free of it's sheath making it free for the little Kitsune's potential viewing pleasure. Excalibur most definitely lived up to it's name as a holy weapon, though it looked different from this day and age's Excalibur: It was longer and looked even more finely crafted, but was more like a claymore as opposed to a longsword. Better held with both hands on the handle rather than just one. The sheath was the only thing that was the same, other than being bigger to accommodate the larger size of Hasenya's version of the legendary blade. A mechanism inside the sheath was able to cause it to shift into a sort of shield mode, creating Avalon.
"Channeling Ki and manipulating it into a set point or two is a primary thing to know how to do when you wish to fly, and it's easier to do with things like weapons. Though.. Perhaps you would rather learn to fly the way I do? It might be a fair bit harder but you'd get a better grasp on your control over fire. It's meant to be an Elemi technique but I'm sure you're more than determined enough to put forth the extra effort." To demonstrate what she meant, two clouds of smoke poured out of her back and vaguely formed the shape of wings. With a bit more concentration and even a good bit of pain making Hasenya wince, the two smoke clouds ignited into flames creating a fiery set of wings. Given the condition of her body, she wouldn't be able to maintain it for long, but it would ultimately be good endurance and resilience training for both her and Red.
"YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYES!" Red suddenly exclaimed excitedly whenever Hasenya said she would accept her as her student. The young hybrid punched at the air with her fist and giggled, temporarily losing all semblance of her warrior ancestry. Her fluffy tail would quickly move back and forth rapidly in excitement as she was praised. Hasenya only had good things to say about her which didn't help the young one's sudden burst of excitement. Though, it was what Hasenya said next that really got the little Kitsune's blood boiling! Did she know anything about swords?! OF COURSE! Swords were only the most awesome weapon ever to use! She leaped back excitedly as Hasenya drew her own, rather massive blade!
"Woooooooaaaaaah. That's a big sword! You're strong enough to carry that? I thought Swords were supposed to be balanced with your body frame? Kinda like this!" She exclaimed, reaching up to the two pieces of armor that adorned her ears. She took them off with a simple click of a button, exposing the red fox like ears on her head. She would then clip both small pieces together and hold it in her right hand. As she flicked her wrist outward, the mechanics of the items activated and the earpieces changed and elongated into a sword most earthlings would only have seen in sci fi movies or anime. It looked like a long sword, though it was thicker in design and just a tad bit shorter so that it was relative to Lucky's own height.
"My father uses a sword so I picked this up right away when I started the academy." She explained, but fell silent whenever Hasenya mentioned that a better control over her ki would make it easier to fly. Red's cheeks started to go red at that, but she continued to watch and listen to what she had to say, her eyes going wide as Hasenya created wings of flames behind her! Once more, the hybrids jaw dropped though she still looked extremely excited.
"WOAAAAAH! That's so cool! That! I wanna try that!" She exclaimed happily, wondering how the heck it was Hasenya was going that! There was no way that it was just simple ki control... there had to be more to it... Lucky could control her ki well enough, but she still couldn't fly, and she didn't understand why she couldn't... she'd had many lessons but had always failed at it...
The Elemi chuckled at the little Kitsune. The way her tail wagged when she was excited made her cute like a little puppy. Except she seemed much smarter than a puppy, perhaps closer to a cat in intelligence and wisdom- at least for her age. Not to call dogs stupid, of course, that would be disrespectful to one of Hasenya's old teachers.. Before she went crazy, anyway. Hasenya liked to joke and said she 'came down with a bad case of rabies'. "Try not to use up all that energy of yours on celebration. You'll definitely be needing it here very soon."
Hasenya shook her head when Red mentioned sword build matching the wielders build. "Usually that would be the case, but Excalibur here is special. I'm bound to her and she's bound to me. In the truest sense, she's an extension of myself and a manifestation of my will. Her form changed to accommodate both things." The Elemi explained with some level of pride in her tone. Excalibur may not be very talkative right now but Hasenya could still feel her presence somewhere deep in the blessed metal material that made up the large sword. It was admittedly hard for Hasenya to be an optimist over whether or not Excalibur was still truly hard, but even as messed up as she was now she probably couldn't emotionally handle losing the last friend and loved one back from her own timeline. She furrowed her brow and shook her head, realizing she was getting off track. "Besides, I think she still fits me pretty well. A tall girl needs a tall sword, if you ask me. And if you're even just the slightest bit unlucky there will be times you'll have to improvise a weapon in the place of that rather fancy looking sword of yours."
She dispelled her wings and inhaled through her nose, reabsorbing the smoke that made up the fiery wings, making her insides give off a faint orange glow underneath her dark red shirt. A literal fire in her belly, if nothing else. "It probably won't be as painful for you trying to learn, like I said I was pretty hurt in some of the fighting." Hasenya sighed as the weird glow went away. With all that aside and at least some basic idea of a training plan in mind, Hasenya readied Excalibur, gripping the handle with both hands keeping the sword aimed at an upwards angle effectively guarding her midsection. "Come at me with everything you have then. That way we can see what you need to improve in regards to ki manipulation before we really get into teaching you how to fly." The Elemi was feeling a little hesitant when she told the kitsune to go off on her. It'd be her own personal test of whatever endurance she might have left withstanding the attacks that came at her. Assuming they didn't mess her up immediately.
Appearing through a small portal that phased into the world. The smaller Caesar would step forth bare feet hitting upon the ground as his divine apparel made him appear in all the lavish means of that of a young prince. Looking upon the building of the Kami and fine home once more. As he'd done several times before but each time now it felt like there was always a new person in charge each time he came to pass coming through here. But it meant little truly any longer. This place was more a facade then anything. A place that held a few powerful secrets and made a few mortals feel like they meant more to the cosmos then they truly did. He'd turn to enter the building as his massive power emanated off of him even in this resting state. Golden hair and crimson eyes gleaming as he'd make his way into the building curious of a couple tomes he planned to relieve this temple of. Chuckling as it brought back fond memories of the first time he was here. He hadn't acknowledged the others but he'd not be hard to spot or hear or even feel as he entered the palace. Making little effort to hide himself as he rarely did.
