Being stuck in hell was probably the worst possible outcome for the hybrid Elemi's psyche. While the girl was no longer corrupted by the Demon Queen's water, she wasn't quick to jump back into her old ways. How could she after so long of being with Caesar and under the influence of that devil? She had given her life to Caesar so long ago as a sacrifice to keep Flare and her friends alive, none of which had come for her in return... Instead, Flare chose a new partner, a saiyan boy no less and the friends she had protected? She had no idea where they even were... She had promised them to help with the takeover of the Planet Trade Organization's government, but now? She noly wanted them dead for tossing her aside so easily.
Most of all, she wanted Flare to suffer for what she had done to her... lying to her about wanting to save her, toying with her emotions like it was some game, and finally... killing her and condemning her to hell. She couldn't forgive her for that, and she would make her pay dearly.
The entire time she was in hell she was either by her Caesar's side of plotting her revenge on the fire Elemi. These bitter thoughts and strange magic from hell were the reason she was headed to Earth now, not that she knew where she was going... She had eaten a strange dark fruit that had knocked her out, and now? Well there was a dark green orb of light soaring in the sky above the southern islands, looking like it might be a meteor coming from outer space.
In truth, the mix of energies had caused a life portal to open and had flung Shizen towards the last planet she had on her mind, planet Earth.
Unconscious still from the fruit she had eaten, Shizen plummeted towards one of the large islands, her ki keeping her safe from any burning effects that might have normally surrounded her. She landed with a loud CRASH, a large crater created on impact. Shizen however groaned as if she had just been disturbed from sleep, shifting into a more comfortable position as the dirst underneath her already began to grow once more. Grass began to sprout up from the dirt and spread out the span of the crater. Flowers began to bloom as well as shrubs and trees. It was like Shizen's very presence encouraged the flora around her to grow at an increased rate. Soon, the entire Island was feeling the effects and would already look overgrown to any passers by.
The mansion. It was the least of her concerns. It would be taken care of by her servants and earthling builders. Structural damage can be mended; It's the critical injuries of Auntie that worried her. She was to be put in a healing pod, just like any other warrior would. Her old age was going to get to her eventually however. The blue haired prick toyed with those who she cherished again. Violating her life more and more. At this point it all felt like hell itself was clawing up to try and grasp at her ankles and drag her down to the depths. She could shake away that feeling for now though. What really mattered was that Auntie Tabitha was fine and was on her way to recovery. Flare and Ragnarok were present just outside the mansion, which still in a bit of shambles as they had stepped over the rubble of the entrance way.
"Ragnarok. Tell that fleet of yours I'm interested in helping whatever this agenda it has is. I'm wanting forces here on Earth first and foremost however. They can consider it a favor up front. You've got more control in your hands than that few you call a crew, yeah?" This sidewinder of a question caught the older red head off guard as he stepped over the rubble with her. Ragnarok's steps being considerably nosier in comparison. He turned her way with a perked brow and smirk.
"Oh? So now you consider it? Brilliant. But, I do want to know what of Komatsu and-" Flare was quick to snap at him, snapping a finger and snarling at him. Flare seems to have dropped her quirk entirely now in favor of straight forward heat.
"Not now. We're friends but it's obvious we've failed eachother. We have a literal malevolent god wandering around Earth now since nobody left on Earth was able to stop him. Koma and Chris came too late. You can bugger off and get him yourself if you want but I'm too busy with all... THIS." The two at least understood one another. Despite being separate for so long blood really does seem to understand one another pretty easily. Of course their upbringing wasn't opposites for that to matter, and the fact he's old meant he probably changed plenty more to compensate around the more peace loving Flare. Without much else mentioned the young flame jettisoned off and started her way towards the lookout.
When she felt the emergence of another disturbingly eerie presence. Shizen? No way. Flare froze up mid flight and stopped, taking a bit more time to concentrate on the energy. No, that was her alright. In a similar vein had the fallen hippie re-surged and started causing chaos on the Earth? Surely the others would have felt her up commence too but perhaps were disinterested. Not this young elemi. No. If Shizen was revived of her own volition it means either Koma did something with the dead relative or... Yeah, the former Jarvis way of just splitting open a passage seemed reasonable. She was on her way lickety split in that case.
The southern isles, littered with tiny masses of land. The hippie's presence was felt from the most obviously afflicted candidate she managed to start stumbling upon. It was sizable. The Flora was starting to get out of hand however. Therefor, it kept Flare a bit in the dark in terms of where, exactly, Shizen was just from this view from above. Instead of dangerously trying to traverse the land she opted to telepath the former love in an attempt to communicate with her.
The plants on the island were becoming rather massive, the trees stretching up high into the sky, far above the tree's on the other islands. The flora closer down to the Earth was growing to the side of small houses while vines snaked and slithered around the slowly waking Nature Elemi, creating a dome to further hide her from the view of anyone that might be looking in.
Shizen slowly sat up, bringing a hand up to the side of her head with a light sigh as she rubbed her temple. Her head was absolutely killing her, the memories of the otherworld becoming a little hazy as they tried to escape her mind and let her forget about the otherworlds secrets... but she couldn't forget, she was the Guardian of the King of hell, a sacred Kai.
As she opened her eyes she spotted the metallic bracer on her arm, smiling gently as she was glad her clothes managed to remain intact when she returned to the realm of the living. Honestly, she thought she might wake up completely naked but it looked like Jarvis' magic was more powerful then that and remained intact. She slowly pushed herself to her feet, looking around at the small vine hutt around her and couldn't help but smile as she walked up to one of the walls, tracing her fingers along the natural vines of the island... They were so different than the one's she had kept with her all this time... They were untainted and only contained the life of this planet within it. Her own vines, they were much more then that... containing the life of Earth, and the entirety of Kanassa.
"It's so strange to be back like this..." She muttered aloud as she watched the tiny flowers bloom behind her fingertips as she traced the vines. It had been so long since she had used untainted energy... while the flowers no longer looked Demonic in nature, it was clear that they weren't earthling flowers. They were a strange breed that had once grown on Kanassa, now flourishin in a rich environment once more.
"They killed that planet... they deserved it..." She whispered, her voice catching itself in her throat as another voice pierced into her mind with a single word, just one word that sent her blood boiling. 'Shizen'. She recognized it immediately... Flare, the traitor who had taken her heart and dragged it through the mud before piercing it and watching her die. She grit her teeth angrily as she looked up to the sky, reaching out with her senses to locate the fire Elemi. As soon as she had, the large tree's that had grown began to move at incredible speed, almost as if they were alive. They would soar towards Flare and aim to wrap their trunks around her.
No response. The fire elemi squinted her eyes and looked down at the now developing dome of plant life that was a large portion of the island. The hippie chose to ignore her? Did she not know who it was, or what happened? To Shizen, yes; Flare appeared to be leagues weaker than she was before. In fact, her mere presence doesn't seem as fiery as before. No flames were to be in sight as the weakened woman took in deep breaths to come at this a bit at a better angle.
["Shizen? Are you alright? It's Flare. Hun... Are you alright? Ya don't have to consume an island, you know. Jarvis isn't... He's not here."] This could be a more touching moment was it not for the fact she was growing a bio dome out of the island. Flora the size which you'd mistake it for being Jurassic Park. Upon observing it now with a more keen eye a lot of the flowering and leafing on these plants didn't look like anything she had seen before. It was alien to be it up in simple terms. And then tit hit her.
Metaphorically speaking that is. When a few trees started sprouting enormously quick at her. Flare still had a good bit of kick and her and was able to see it coming fast. But did she have the strength to put up with it? Well, she thought she did. This was Shizen she was dealing with so burning it was out of the question. The young flame was going to try man handling it instead. Big mistake. The large trunks smashed into her as they went right through extended hands that were meant to catch the giant things.
Honestly, being wrapped with tree trunks was one of the more strange things one could experience. In this case young wounds would feel the abrasion this caused too. Flare'd growl as she's overpowered an these large trees engulf her person almost entirely. She'd muster up the strength to keep it from getting a crushing grip on her, holding out whatever she could from her sides, but she hissed and growled. The things already scrapped a good bit of her spandex under bits off and revealed the bandage work still underneath from the god king's punishment of her.
"Sonuva'!" The young flame grit her own teeth and tried looking through, past the thick leafscape she was in now, and tried looking around for any signs of Shizen directly in sight. Nothing. Again the young flame would prod the hippie's mind, her telepathy beoming hot in the back of the young blonde's head.
she could feel the tree's grab a hold of Flare almost as if the elemi was holding the woman herself. She gripped her fist tightly as if she was holding her there, pretending as if she was squeezing the life out of her, though she wasn't. The tree's simply held Flare bound high up above the island, snaking around her until it couldn't anymore and it finally stopped.
Shizen lifted herself off of the ground, the top of her dome spinning open to allow her passage. She levitated herself, up and up until she was at Flare's height, staring the woman down coldly, angrily. Her eyes were narrow and void of the innocence she once had when she lived here on Earth.
"I know it's you, and stay out of my head. If you knew me at all you'd know I hate that." She stated just as coldly, extending her right hand forward as a green glow encompassed it. The tree holding Flare began to move again, it's lower trunk begging to sprout branches like stakes at a rapid pace, climbing up closer and closer to the Fire Elemi, threatening to impale her if it reached her.
"Why the hell would you come running towards me, traitor. You want to die that badly?" She gave Flare but a moment to respond, having the full intention of impaling her with the branches if her answer didn't sit well with Shizen.
The trunks eventually stopped their surge, having wrapped around and closed deftly in on the young flame. The crackling of wood as Flare kept pushing on the sides that held her would become apparent more now as the float itself stopped growing at such a tremendous rate. To her surprise it wasn't taking long after that for Shizen to show herself. She looked different and cold. Abstraction from how Flare originally met her. The young flame could just make out that much from the distance and interference between them. What shook her more was the first thing to pop out of the hippie's mouth.
Flare understood the sentiment if it was mental violation Like Jarvis or that mysterious magician... this just took her aback. She was being more aggressive and angered at her than even on planet Natto. Not that the young flame had a problem with shutting her telepathy down if asked. It was for convenience more than anything. Still, this feeling of aggression and hate was felt more from the former lover once she started hearing the tree rattle again. Fire... No, she didn't want to further anger Shizen. That's not what she came around for. Something stirred that fire in her though. being called a traitor. What? Flare grunted and tried shoving the trees away from her before they'd spike her on the trees, yet her body was weaker than Shizen's own form. It would prove a hard task.
"Traitor? Kill you!? No, what are you going on about!? I came by to get you, I want you to be safe!" She'd hope her call out would at least be effective in getting her attention away from trying to impale her. Hoping for that much at least she'd manage to shove away and break off part of the tree before some of the other came to sprout spikey branches at her. The young flame pushed away from the remaining trunk just short of avoiding it in full, crazy spikes catching her left arm and leg and sticking in her a good bit. It was far from impaling but she was stuck away from the tree a bit and had to take time to pry the branches from herself.
"Gah, fuck! H-hnng... Why? I'm not trying to hurt you. Was it- Was it Jarvis? Did he tell you more lies!?" Flare put a bit of pressure on her arm, keeping just one of the few wounds from bleeding as the others poured pretty freely down her clothing and bare skin. Flare had to assume worse. Had to assume that the god king had something to do with this. They both have came in near close the same time, so did he still control her in the afterlife? This scared Flare more than she liked to admit.
She could feel the adrenaline rush of the tree's trapping Flare, the satisfaction of the branches striking her flesh... it was a strange desire she had only felt once before when she was devouring planet Kanassa, and taking all of it's living energy into herself. She couldn't help but lick the inside of her lips when blood was drawn. Unlike others, blood represented energy to her and that's what these Kanassan plants seemed to desire the most~
"Don't play dumb or pretend to be innocent... I gave up everything for you! and then when it mattered most you took everything I had left on planet Natto! You were supposed to come and save me, but you didn't... you only showed up because your new boyfriends planet was in danger... then you tossed me aside and left me to die." Shizen yelled at Flare now, angry that she would dare to play stupid! She clenched her teeth, baring her teeth now as it was clear she was pissed off by that comment.
"Because of you I might never have seen my daughter being born! It's only because of Caesar that i'm alive again! He has never once lied to me, never mistreated me. Why should I believe you when you say he's the one who's lying? It's too late to 'save me' now Flare, I don't WANT to leave him." She said sternly, making her stance on the situation very clear. Cassia, their daughter, was still within her incubation chamber on the hidden planet housing what was left of the Cerulean Empire and she desperately wanted her little girl by her side. She never liked humans anyways, so coming back to Earth forever would be pointless... and Jarvis... while even she could agree he was crazy, he loved her. He took care of her and Cassia as much as if she was the Demon Queen herself.
The young flame looked her former love over, cringing at the sadistic nature of her being. The hippie shot back with her own accusations, making Flare stop dead in her tracks. She did give up everything she didn't need to, for a fiery girl who still couldn't protect her when it was right. But being called a liar, a cheat, a murderer. When her intentions were much more wholesome and right? And to think, Flare only came because of Koma? While she was there to help him it was more a sibling relation between the two. Flare squinted and shook before turning her head away from Shizen. Unable to look at her as she frown to the side.
"You did give up everything for me, hun. Your youth, your kindness and generosity. For what, a woman who couldn't even save you even after all this time? That 'boy', Komatsu, He's a brother to me. He was training me. Helping me be strong so I could rescue you but all we did was fail. Fail you, Fail that twat of a brother he has and fail myself. I wanted to save that planet, beat up the bad guy, and rescue the damsel, but it's clear I'm just a fuckin' failure." A low flame started forming round her head, somber emotions bringing up the flames as she spoke. Her power did something unexpected with the change however; It dropped to extreme vulnerability. Lowering herself to vanilla standards while she hung her head even lower. Shizen was so in love with the literal worst person in the galaxy. The man who violated Flare in mind, in body, and in spirit.
[5 PL]
"I know you won't listen to me. Trust me. You died with the planet. Jarvis tied your unconscious body to it as I tried getting you away. It was ready to explode, and I had no time. Komatsu had no time. The man you love is a fraud, a fake god who only tortures for his amusement. You think he would not do the same again if it came to it!? He has done nothing but kill people! Ruin lives! Ruin mine!... Destroy yours... I'll offer my own life on it if you don't believe me." The young flame would spread her arms open, exposing herself to the young hippie girl. Still, she looked away. Trying a good deal to make sure her distressed face wasn't seen as she held back tears.
"Do it, Strike me down. I'm a miserable excuse of a friend. A Partner. A Guardian. I wasn't able to protect you even when I needed to. And all you've done was give yourself up to him and let him curse the rest of your life. Taint it with his bastardy. Your child... I would want to protect that too, but you would rather have the murdering rapist that violated me! So come on. Do it. I deserve nothing but your wrath for failing us."
Shizen shook her head from side to side, refusing to believe what Flare was talling her, still far too angry with her to believe her. While her tree's paused in their assault, they were still ready to start attacking once more...
"No" She said simply, still shaking her head as she looked up at Flare with a look of pure anger on her features. If she had been part fire Elemi, this would probably be the part where she would combust into flames... instead however her skin would slowly begin to change color, getting darker and darker by the moment as it almost looked like vines were overtaking her body. She was slowly slipping into her transformation unknowingly by letting her emotions get the best of her.
"No, that's not true. Because of you and him, Caesar and I weren't able to escape. You left me there because he was more important. And STOP talking about him like that! I'm no different than he is! I've never liked humans, or any other 'humanoid' living being. If any of them got in the way of what I wanted I would have killed them too! I killed those Kanassian's for destroying the natural life on their world, and I'd do it again! Caesar is only doing the same thing! This planet... those that live on it... you entitled pricks who think you're so 'good'... you're all a plague..." She spoke venom as she yelled back at Flare, though still didn't attack her just yet. The more she got angry, the faster her transformation would take her over, until she was now completely covered in vines from head to toe, her hair looking like rose petals while a crown of thorns sat atop her head. Her vibrant green eyes stared into Flare's desperately trying to discredit her words.
Even as Flare completely opened herself up to Shizen, she just couldn't finish her, as much as she wanted too... the branches on the overgrown trees turned to spikes as Shizen just floated there, trembling angrily and struggling to find the words to say. Then Flare dropped the bomb that Jarvis had violated her and her heart truly sank at that. He had gone ahead and done such a thing? He knew how much Shizen had wanted Flare and he...
"Stop! Just stop! Stop coming after me!" She continued to shake her head before taking a few more airborne paces back. She needed to leave, she needed to not be around Flare... all of these emotions welling up inside of her, this was why she had originally chosen a life of solitude... she wanted nothing more than to be alone, but her duty to Caesar would now always come first.
The sun would suddenly seem to be getting brighter and brighter to the point it was nearly blinding, the air around them growing hot and humid... an environment not suited to humans, but to the two Elemi would be rather comfortable. Shizen however was using the power of the sun to distract Flare's eyes long enough to take off in the direction of where she could sense Jarvis through their link.
Flare couldn't help but sigh at her response. Shizen was warped into this poison ivy looking woman from the hatred and the deaths she's inflicted from the young flame's own neglect of her.
"That's not how it should be, Shizen... You don''t kill people for that, you appeal to their senses. You work with them. You just make enemies want you dead. People I can't hold back will kill you. That blue haired bastard Jarvis and that racist prick Nasu are both scoundrels for thinking that eliminating people and societies would make things better. They only bring death and hatred towards themselves and against others because they act like evil shits. They're no different from demons. From raging power-hungry lunatics to self absorbed speciests... You only make it worse!" She didn't receive a spike through her heart yet? A punch through her spine? Flare looked back just to see Shizen tell her to back off. She looked scared, perhaps emotionally confused about it all as she stepped back. Flare knew all too well the behavior and started pacing in the air forwards towards her. The atmosphere around them both becoming humid and bright, blinding Flare as she needed to shield her eyes with her arm.
"Wait!" She was kept blinded for a bit before feeling out that Shizen was shooting off into the skies, away from her. Trying to get away. Flare clenched her fists and had to power up to compensate her lack of energy now. Shooting off after her as well as she could. Catching her not far away from the island she spawned from and tried grabbing a hold of the hippie in order to stop them both. If unable she'd still try telling this to her.
[100,000 PL]
"No no no, I can't do that! You're here now, I can't just let you slip back to that man! Listen to me, please, I'm trying to help you. Teach you. We can work around this."
As Flare flew closer Shizen was too emotionally distracted to note her getting close, or whenever Flare grabbed her. She tried to yank her arm away from her suddenly, but found herself unable too, even with Flare's limited power at the time.
"I told you to stop coming after me! You don't understand!" She protested as she kept her back turned to the flame, still trying to pull her arm free of Flare without actually attacking her at this point. She wanted to hit her so badly... slap her around for the betrayal she felt, the hatred that had festered inside of her like a weed. She grit her teeth as Flare insisted that she was trying to help her. However, bound to Jarvis as she was through both their spiritual bond and their emotional bond, saving her would be a very, very difficult battle.
"You can't anymore! You took too long, Flare! I know you think you're helping me, but I don't want to be away from him, I don't want to be saved anymore. I get that you hate him for all the things he's doing but... I don't think he's wrong! I don't! He's a god, god's take what they want from whoever they want. I wouldn't be any different than him in his shoes. He takes care of me unlike anyone else has before. When we died, he made sure I wouldn't be alone. Even in death, he never left me..." She insisted, only now glancing towards Flare with furrowed brows. As her emotions continued to run rampant, even moss was beginning to overtake the parts of her that were more plant like than brenchian like.
"I waited for you... Flare, and I still would... but it's too late. I've gone too far to turn back now. If you want me to stop, then you'll just have to kill me. Or... let one of the others do it. I'm evil right? One of the bastards you hate so much."
Flare grit her teeth as the hippie resisted. Not even looking back at the young flame. The elemi doubled down on her grip then, small fires bellowing from the tips of her hair. Flare, not understand? Flare was one of the few people who could understand this! Nay, the most qualified outside Shizen herself. Something about this continued rubbing her the wrong way. She felt compelled to yell her down, to shout down her dissent again and again. Her power was rising again, but it wasn't nearly to the point she was at previously.
"Me, not understand!? I DO! Now turn around and listen to me!" red eyes watched the more demonically influenced elemi start shrouding herself in plant life more and more in a grotesque manner. Was that natural for a plant elemi, like her own flames spouting out? Shizen was strong enough and emotional now to expel the emotional tantrums. Her words would somewhat verify this too. Flare would stand float there in arms reach, having to eat these damned words Shizen spouted. Was she really beyond saving? Was there no way to really tturn her back around? At least make her see the errors of her ways?
"No that can't be true... He's a faker, power hungry maniac! He only takes care of you 'cause you're a possession! Something to taunt me with! If he were truly a god he'd have no interest in meddling with someone like me! He would have easily taken from someone greater! Someone more significant!" Flare paused for a moment. Some expression of apprehension starting up on her face as Shizen kept painting herself a villain. No, no. She's a victim! Flare had to catch herself before she'd roar at her again for it. No, Flare sighed through her nose and relinquished her grip hesitantly.
"Kill you? Shizen... No, you can't believe all this, can you? You're a victim here. I can help you, WE can help you. We can understand what happened. You got manipulated. you weren't you when you did all those nasty things! You can't... I can't justify hating you, it's not your fault!" She'd offer, squinting at Shizen with sizzling, watery eyes. Evaporating at the heat the young flame was putting of from just the emotional stress alone. Flare wasn't going to believe for a moment this is what Shizen really thought.
Shizen would forcefully pull her arm away from Flare when she slowly started to erupt in flames, getting her now plant like arm out of harms way. She drew it up to her chest and held it there in an attempt to prevent herself from lashing out against her. She wanted to cry, she wanted to scream, she wanted so many things! Her emotions were running wild and she felt like her nerves were on fire.
"At what point DOES it start being my fault? hunh, Flare? Yeah, I was a victim when he first took me and for a while after that... I might be the way I am now because of his influence but honestly? He didn't have to try very hard. This IS me. You look at Jarvis and you see this crazed monster, but you know what? 'It's not his fault'. The Demon Queen manipulated him and turned him into what he is now. She made sure I knew that much. So he's just a victim too, but you won't see that side of him because you didn't know him before.
We can only be victims for so long until we lose that side of us. I'm not.... I'm not that helpless girl you met in the forest anymore Flare. I am Shizen, the Elemi of Nature, devourer of planets and guardian of Jarvis. I can't be saved anymore." She repeated, floating back from Flare a little bit now, her body trembling like a leaf due to the sheet emotion that threatened to burst from the seems. If Flare would just let her leave, she would return to Jarvis immediately... if not... well the two would have to fight it out wouldn't they...
Flare recoiled as the plant lady pulled away, clenching her fists further. She was refraining from just knocking her flat out, from just taking her back here and now. The fire woman very well could, but her own feelings held her back from trying something so bold and aggressive. Then it was Shizen's turn to yell at Flare, and it made her squirm in the air. Eyes widening and summoned tears hissing and evaporating off her radiating skin. The flames too harsh to allow that.
Up to this point Jarvis was seen as malevolent. Intentionally out to get those dragon balls and wish himself a god so he could rule. Destroy others. Then proceeded to take Shizen and indoctrinate her. The demon queen? The sorcerer? Yeah, they were on Flare's hit list of baddies but Jarvis was seen at the front of that. At best this demon queen was seen as a mere ally to the man. But shizen said it was her that made him this way? The young flame didn't want to believe it. She had to be mistaken, or lying! But what did she have to gain by either? The queen surely was mistaken... but then Jarvis would have denounced that long ago if that was the case.
"No... That can't be, lies! She was lying to you!" The whole idea that people could just be bad and typically were bad just because seemed to be somewhat tossed out the window. Maybe it was those good that were extreme outliers in this sea of careless emotions and apathy. All of this startd getting into her head, and once there started providing images in her head. She was in this situation before. Same scenario just about. Only this time Flare could have the ability to stop it. Sani was lost at FLare's own hands. This was going to be different, it had to be! But her body refused to move as she relived the sensation of being cut down by the former friend, the metaphor tranlating over as Shizen started leaving in her stunned form.
"No! You can still be saved! Please, don't go! Not again! Don't leave me!" All she could muster was raising her hand to try and grab at a woman far gone from her, shaking at the seams The lot of emotion forcing her to transform involuntarily into an enraged state as she started tearing at her own fabrics out of frustration. Stupidity. In a final roar she'd be left out in the empty expanse of ocean and spotted islands. Left with nothing but tears and memories of a simpler time.
