The village was a small one and he'd left his forest recently listening to the whispers of hell forever in the back of his head. His stranglehold on the power of the place was strong enough and the Oni's kept vigil. They knew better then to let things fall into disarray and risk his wrath. His forest on earth was so well dense with dangerous plant life and poisonous vegetation as well as carnivorous it was free of most interlopers. His hidden empire in the stars as well was ran quite well buy his minions and now smaller but still great army. A place where he was worshiped, A kingdom in hell, An a temple take over on earth. It was good to be a good to hold power both holy and physical in land and riches.
The small being however today had taken to a small village one he picked just from its location. The sun casting down bright light warmth nearly all year round. The place almost in a way of summer all year besides the coldest of winter times. The village had been a farming village perhaps the population barely over ten thousand. It was hardly anything truly of note. His mental waves were easy to keep trapped within such a location where only those passing close enough would hear the waves. Or notice the growing tree. The whispers and whistling that would hum through all ears replacing thoughts and memories with dark twisted vial replacements of their true memories and thoughts.
A large tree would have grown in the center of this small town it looking as a familiar site compared to south city. But on a vastly smaller scale. Green covered all now but the mental whistling like a tune would still be echoing to anyone that came within range. But they'd find only... a green over taken town. No souls left around or a sound of people in danger or even just around at all. Just silence beyond the occasional animal or carnivorous plant snapping. It was as if the plants had swallowed the city and its inhabitants. It would only be when they'd get to the center of the town where a giant forty foot tall cherry blossom tree stood would they discover a truth. A giant tree with cherry blossoms as red as crimson and some dripping as well wet and sticky to the touch. The trees form shaped in that of a woman like that of the forest Elemi that was no part of the god she served. The base of the tree as you'd look down her oak figure and feminine beauty would show a more horrific site down at the base and trunk. The countless bodies of those that lived in the village had been twisted and broken. Conformed and cracked into shape twisted and torn within the roots as if swallowed by the tree. The crimson on the blossoms from feeding off their blood. The tree feeding off the corpses for nourishment. The tree appearing as the beautiful woman surrounded by cherry blossoms. Caesar whistling hovering near it as if sitting on air reclined watching it basking in the sun as he did so. Whistling the same tune that was mentally moving throughout the area. But if someone got to close to actually see him or the tree. The visions of the town would begin to unfold in their head as well.
Screaming echoes and memories twisting as if that of believing they'd killed their loved ones. Think those near them had been attempting to kill them and they must protect themselves and stop this one. How their souls had been corrupted and they must give themselves to whatever feeble god they prayed too. Hundred of various types of twists and tears to memories was all it took to within minutes prior to all this get the people to end themselves. Drawing them all together only required a little power and trickery of his abilities. It was a strange sensation to know the tens of thousands of people had all taken each others or their own lives technically. It was a sweet sensation he thought to himself in that. It was as if even if he'd caused it some... It was as if they'd sacrificed themselves to the memorial to the beloved flower. With a bit more energy when the tree was done it would be able to withstand extreme damage. A small twisted portal felt within it as well. Like a connection to hell was made here as he had his Oni's put to work and a demon or two as well. Those had had died their souls quickly rounded up. Pumping that as well into the trees life force. It would be... a living memorial. A gift to his now lost love. It would be complete in mere moments. An so he whistled sitting in theair in the sun. Thinking of lost love and what the sacrifice had meant.

Lucy had barely gotten any training in with Jie Shan since the two had last spoken... really only one lesson and Lucy found she still wasn't getting the hang of it. All she was being taught to do was sense ki around her... it shouldn't be too hard but for some reason Lucy found it infuriating. She just couldn't do it! How could you just SENSE people? what was energy anyways? how did you manipulate it? The only reason she could fly was because her master had forced the knowledge into her mind. She didn't really understand it...
"Oh all things... hey... when did that tree get there..." Lucy said aloud curiously as she soared through the blue skies above the small town she had come to call her second home. It wasn't very big so Lucy didn't feel overwhelmed, but it was just big enough to have a school and other kids she could learn with. Of course with her advanced aging, she had grown to look about 16 in only a few short months. She came in for a landing in the now overgrown village, landing softly on the lush green grass and looking around with a mild look of horror. Where was everyone? Where they okay? What was all of this? How was this even happening?
"...Guys... Alice..? Where are you..." She called out softly for her friends, stopping dead in her tracks though when she saw a single blond haired boy walking around the village. He didn't look like any of the other kids she had met, and he definitely didn't dress like they did... but unlike most Lucy wasn't quick to jump to conclusions.
"Excuse me... do you know what happened?" She asked him innocently, still looking bewildered at what she saw. What Lucy didn't realize, was that the empty village, the sadness and fright she felt was all in her mind. No doubt it was no where near as bad as what some of the other villagers were envisioning, but to the small girl being left alone with nothing, again, was the most horrifying future she could think of...
The whistling continued as he hadn't given the girl much notice. A creation with lost purpose that wondered around aimlessly now. A tree of life created twisting and turning within the ground at its roots that sucked clean the dead the bodies devoured now but if you listened closely one could still hear the whining of large branches tightening deep within the earth. Wood as hard as rock that would drink, grow, and whither to a point where whether it lived or died it would stand tall like a statue of stone like wood in the shape like that of a woman along its trunk and body. There were things that needed doing a itch at his ear as a second awakening was needed to those that carried the genes of gods. Another strange twist of genetics his wish had brought to the world along with his wish. New souls to take to his sides along the stars. A kingdom in the world of souls that was protected by foul fire and brimmstone and could call him back to face any threat to power. A kingdom of man hidden within the stars his people protected in a lush world like that of a paradise a sleeping armor should he ever desire. But namekian generals and brenchian warriors were not the people to call on now to be his constant left and right hands. He would seek another course soon. His mind silent to the doll that neared. Wondering on loss of purpose... "Death is a awakening... Most never have any true meaning in their final moments. These people however... Their souls serve to bring a last monument to a love before it became something new. Bodies twisted within as nutrients and souls forged through hells gates to allow it to live for eons. Long when other life whithers the tree will still stand. So I wonder though what a lost puppet does so far from home? Shall I take retribution against your master Kami for your disturbance towards me this day? " He'd say smirking lightly still floating within the air in a sitting position looking upon the demonic tree. His body warmed by its image the warm sun shining upon him as well nourishing him lightly in its own way. He didn't look at her simply waited and listened curious on its thoughts and reactions.

At first the boy didn't answer her, and Lucy started thinking that maybe he had been injured somehow, but he started floating and Lucy stopped dead in her tracks. Something inside of her was screaming at her to get out of there as fast as possible, her sense of fight or flight telling her to run as fast as she could. Despite that, she stayed firmly planted in place. She would look up at the child like Jarvis with a look of disbelief on her face as she looked from the boy to the tree.
What was he talking about? That tree? That tree was made up of the villagers!? Small tears began to well up in the corner of her eyes as she looked away from the tree, panicked and looked back towards the small boy.
"That tree... It's... you used the villagers... They were my friends... They were my family!" She bellowed out at the boy, her teary eyes turning into a bit of a glare as he called her a puppet. Who was this kid?! She wasn't a puppet! How dare he call he call her that! She was a human being! She was just born differently!
"Who are you!?" She demanded, angrily pointing her finger in an accusatory tone as she faced Jarvis.
Both the northern hemisphere, as well as the south, were rather damaged in ways she hadn't remembered it to be, leaving behind only East and West as areas that were still intact. At least, for now. To have the kind of power capable of doing such a thing, was quite a wonder in her eyes. Made it such a shame that the battles that had went on, had happened while she was on Namek.
There was no doubt in her mind that at least the destruction in one of the hemispheres, had been the doing of the leader of the Saiyan Alliance. None of the other planets sensed by her allies, had really proved to have any lingering power around them.
Which meant the other half must have been done by the one who destroyed the Saiyan base of operations, located on the Southern Islands. That was her astute assumption, and an idea that she played with, as she was surrounded by various paperwork.
The kind of casualties her own company had ended up with, weren't really surprising. A few scientific minds were lost here and there, with complaints filed against her, for not being around. It was child's play really, to use her as a scapegoat for lost lives. All it would really take to resolve it, is giving them the kind of personal visit that they wanted so badly from her.
It was a meticulous process, having to go through each piece of paper, signing off things or piling them onto an increasing stack, where she needed more clarification to consider. Her hands never really took that long to ache with this line of work, which was time she spent reviewing the things that took a bit more effort to grasp her mind around, with her limited knowledge of business.
Charts and graphs here and there, projecting what budget they had for which project, as well as the market share and sizes, with ideas on how to continue appealing to their consumers. This Nero Industries, was perhaps the only concern she had found, who was likely to be after the Capsule Corp name, if she had ever somehow passed by a threat she couldn't really handle alone.
A reason why she tended to put time into reviewing her will, and making corrections here and there. The thing was supposed to be as airtight as anything else that she had decided to put her name on, when it had came to business and their prospects.
It was fine when it came to being screwed over when it came to power, but official documents such as these, would be laughable if had missed. She was supposed to be a representative of the Brief's family and their legacy here. They weren't supposed to make mistakes. Every now and again, her concentration and work was disrupted by a rather large power she hadn't quite recognized.
East and West City, she was rather positive and had considered the idea that they would wind up being attacked, just as well as the North and South. There was no reason for the being of power behind it, to just go and stop after all, beyond having been beaten.
But if that was really the case, it only made her wonder just what kept the other party, the ones who declared themselves as saviors of the planet, from finishing the job. Information on that regard, was what she had lacked, not really allying herself with those who supposedly lived in Korin's Tower. Though it wasn't as if she had really winded up needing to go and do so either.
If she could just continue funding Project Android with most of what she made, then it should be rather easier to garner support, under the noses of those not expecting people digging their noses to deep, to be replaced by more superior beings.
Most people wouldn't be able to tell, though a rather dead giveaway was not being able to really sense the minuscule power level humans tended to possess. But that was an issue to consider later, rather than at the moment. She was still ways away from it.
The pen that she wrote with, only saw less and less use, as the power within the vicinity wouldn't suppress itself, and she found herself wondering if she should follow after it. She was one of three mother of all Vampires now, and following after trouble, as she had done when she was a fledgling, was supposed to be beneath her. Until things had gotten out of hand at least.
Though with how she had been swamped with work since returning from Namek, she supposed there was no harm in giving herself a breather, and follow after the little interest she had in this power. It was only really a bit stronger than her best, after all.
The world just blurred around her, as she had assigned her cousin to overlook things for her, voices around rather faint and muffled, yet her mind was still able to pick up the gist of things. Blood magic was rather peculiar in that regard.
It felt wonderful, but at the same time, like a heavy weight onto her shoulders, to go and briefly tap into her power here and there. The outside world had came into view, blurring like the rest, as she had traveled alone by foot, before coming across what appeared to be the source of things. A small village, which made itself rather apparent that something was wrong with it.
She heard whispers as she had walked along and went through the brief process, that came with tying her shoulder-length hair back to something more manageable. Ones that encouraged her to kill, along with phantoms of those that she had knew weren't actually around. It was rather cute to see, and even more delightful to smell blood in the air. Though whether or not they were merely illusions, a smile played itself across her lips nonetheless. Her eyes still remained brown as she glanced around, wondering.
Was this the work of some demons she hadn't known about? That was the only thing that really came to her mind. This didn't seem to be the work of any other lesser species she could have thought of. And most of her kin didn't dwell in illusions like these.
Maybe this would be more interesting than she had thought.

He seemed to smirk but didn't turn to face her only remained floating upon the air. The warm sun gave this day a orange glow within the sky. As if the morning was truly beautiful and nature wished to honor his monument as well. The circle of life as one stage of her life had ended and she had become one with the powers above... His powers. It seemed perhaps another was growing near too but he allowed his mind to ignore that one for a moment. HE was positive he didn't miss any of the sacrifices. So if this one had a reason to be here he'd think amusing himself it would likely make itself known before lone. He'd wait in comfort just as he waited for this little one to approach.
"Please do not be foolish. We both know you don't have any family... At least not in the traditional sense and further more not to these creatures... Humanity is a weakness like so many other races. Your station could allow you to be far more above them then you are but it seems your purpose or your design has given fault within you. It's a pity. I imagine you can have been more use to your mother had you proven or turned out... differently." He'd look down at her while hovering crimson eyes slowly fading downward she spoke and chose to face him bravely. The emotional moment within her allowing stupidity to be masked by bravery. As so it often did in times of emotional empowerment or trauma. His feet and legs would shift crossing one way to crossing over the opposite way as if her presents had shifting his comfort lightly. "Normally if people don't know who I am I imagine they'd consider a blessing of a time once they 'do' know who I am. I could show you things I've done that would make this barely equate to stealing your lunch money or pulling your hair. I'm curious... Do you like games? Do you like hunting? Are you... strong willed?" He'd ask as several dark thoughts wormed into his mind sinking his canine teeth in the back of his mouth hard into his tongue to keep from smiling to deceive or stop accidentally revealing his dark notions to the world. His eyes emanating a dark power though as if they could take on a dark orange glow within the crimson. As if his all seeing eyes had focused in on her for this moment as she seemed to have wanted for standing where she stood.

“You’re a liar! I DID have family! Akiko, these villagers… they all took me in and accepted me as one of their own! They are my family and you hurt them! I… I… She’s not my mother… How do you know Master Nakiya?” Lucy asked suspiciously, her heart desperately trying to tell her to be brave while her mind told her to run away and return to the lookout where she had always been safe. Lucy couldn’t sense energy so she had no idea that this was Jarvis, and had no idea that anyone else was lurking around. The last time she had seen Jarvis he was a tall, Older man with blue hair… this kid just didn’t make her think of him at all… but he knew so much, so maybe he was a demon? His pointy ears would surely indicate as such.
“Are you a demon..?” She then asked, falling silent once more as he began to vaguely speak of things that he’s done… apparently what he had done here was barely worth any of his effort according to his words. Though when he asked her if she liked games and hunting, Lucy’s hand flew to the sword at her side. She shakily withdrew it from her scabbard and brought it in front of her, placing it between herself and Jarvis.
“N, no… no games, but I do have a strong will, I have too to be a Guardian of my planet… I won’t let you get away with hurting people…” She stated, though not sounding very sure of herself as was reflected in the shaking of her sword.
That was what she had decided on, listening to the mutterings, which spoke words that clearly meant to have tugged at her heart. Remind her of the mistakes she had made in the past, and the lives that she had willingly or otherwise cause, with her decisions and confidence. The phantom apparitions that appeared to go and emphasize such a point, she could see were meant to break down her spirit, backed up with a ringing of pain in her head, as the illusion disappeared after performing its bidding.
It was all very interesting to experience. Enough to where she hadn't bother dulling away the voices into muffled disinterest, or blurred the world around her, and simply sped through to find the source of it all. No, she was greatly enjoying her time here.
It took her back to her early days as a fledgling, where she was so susceptible for her mental state to be attacked. All those thoughts and regrets of what she had decided to become, and fear of being a slave to her hunger of blood.
They were all laughable now though. She found her drive too long ago, to be disturbed by these illusions. Being a Matriarch had only strengthened the resolve she had, knowing just how close she and the others were, to being Antediluvians. Once they had reached such a level of power, the place of Vampires in the world, would be rightfully established among the other powerhouses.
They would no longer need to keep their society a secret. It was an old belief she was steadily breaking away from, which range of control as one of the three known Matriarchs in the world, actually meant something. Just a matter of time before the rest follow.
"No...NO!"
Brief smiles had shown here and there, as she began with a flick of a finger at one crying apparition, its body exploding into blood, and driving her already heightened senses into believing it was all real. Her eyes closed from the ring of pain that attacked her after, displayed at the twitching of her brows at best, before her eyes had opened again.
The phantom blood had disappeared from where it landed on her body, but both the cries of one of her own, and the smell of blood continued to linger behind, as she moved on and was stopped again. Whether it was a flick of her finger like with this one, a kick with her foot, or a grab at the neck, her acts hadn't truly mattered. In the area these illusions had a say in, she was simply playing into the role the mastermind wanted her to play. Attacking what she knew wasn't true, or simply standing around and taking it, as they imploded before her eyes. All things that mortals would have so easily fallen to, and made themselves vulnerable.
But her own kind was just so used to killing, that it was easy to be desensitized. Sure, she knew some of her allies were likely to be more hesitant than she was, but the power of a Matriarch would guide them away from any doubts they could have.
Anyone she had raised, should be so used to killing by now. Those who weren't under her protection and still showed doubts, were likely to get culled with the other weaker Vampires, by the end of the month, seeing as how power was wasted on them.
They wouldn't have even been able to survive through some territorial dispute by another coven. She hadn't tire of the illusions that approached her, as she had gotten closer to the two different energy signatures. The attacks only continued to serve as a reminder of the power that felt so close to her grasp, but she couldn't yet push herself to actually go and reach.
Her breathing had quickened a bit. More so than she would have ever thought would happen from something so simple, but that was where the humor was. For such things to even hold the slightest of a grasp on her, pulling on her interest, only made her sides hurt as she had laughed. She could feel bits of power flowing through her, and changing her normally brown eyes into red, but the closest it even got to the glowing crimson of one of her other forms, was nothing more than just a flicker. Like a lit candle.
They went back to its dull brown as she forced the power back within her, knowing just how much these tricks was actually getting to her. She might not have fallen and broken down like the source had wished for her to, but where her heart had ceased to beat, she had felt a welling excitement that was becoming so rare to her, now that she had become a Matriarch of her kin.
"I'll have to applaud you for your efforts here. The apparitions might have meant nothing to me, beyond stirring some excitement into this life of mine, but for sure, it would have broken the mortals down."
Slow clapping. That had been the first thing she had done, finally reaching the likely source of all of these illusions, her arms having stretched outwards, as her brown eyes had gazed onto those who were actually here. Blue hair. A glint of recognition had came from seeing the sight, more so than what was going on behind him, or the blonde swordsman practically shaking.
The question of whether or not this man was a demon, and the revelation that this girl had both a strong will, and was a proclaimed guardian of this planet, left her only more eager to piece together just what was going on here herself.
Her own tone had been rather patronizing, as Vampires so often found themselves speaking with, if it wasn't something more playful, and surely wouldn't have been the last of it either. Especially if what appeared to be a power with child, got offended.
"So what exactly would I get here, for going through both the game you've set up, and guessing who your identity is? Hm? More flaunting of power imposed onto this girl here? Or something even better I haven't seen the opportunity to say?"
Idly walking up to the swordsman and patting the other girl on the shoulder, the tone that she had spoke with, shifted into something more playful. Her observations were finished with a slight head tilt to the side, hand propping her chin, as if she was expecting to hear an answer. She was aware it was an odd sight to have such a youthful face speak with such confidence.
But she had yet to see a need for her brown eyes to see even a hint of crimson, and it wasn't as if she was the only youthful face around, displaying such a thing. She was positive that this boy here, was the Caesar that blonde swordsman kept moaning about.
Somehow, he seemed to be as trapped as she was, carrying such youthful and lithe looks. It made her wonder if his transformations were as similar as her own, in that it would shed away such youth, and bring forth a few inches in height, and a fuller body.
"I'm quite aware neither of you two seem to be human. No mortal could ever hold such a power. So as she had said, my guess you must be composed of dna mixed with demon, but being a hybrid overall. As for your identity, I've met a certain blonde swordsman on Namek not that long ago, red armor and all, who interestingly kept imposing her feelings for a 'Caesar' onto my own flaunting of power. Moaned on about how it was her duty to prevent a second coming from happening if she could help it.
She mentioned blue hair, how he had already attacked the earth once before, and her fear made it quite obvious this figure it was someone to bow before. Although I expect for you to forgive that I'm not willing to do such a thing, when you're currently cursed with the same youthful appearance I carry without going into my other forms. Do know that you'll disappoint me, if you're even remotely offended by someone with lesser power."
Breaking away from the playful mocking she had done with her head tilt, a single finger was pointed upwards as she had went on into sharing her observations, which was pulled back down near the end of it, as she began talking with distaste about Cambia.
Someone like him, who had likely killed plenty of those who could have fitted such a description, she only wondered if he could even deduce who she was referring to. If this power of his, which likely held back even more, had been her own, she would have done the same. Much like that lesser Saiyan male black on Namek, she was practically just a fly on the wall to this guy.
But her brown eyes couldn't have possibly lit up even more from that realization.
"Please don't waste my time assuming your loss gives much merit to me. You aren't truly kin to anyone... Merely a project let loose. But I digress... Your master is a lover of mine. Or more so something else now, Its hard to know what she is exactly to me as time passes on. The universe is shifting and my own ambitions and mind as well. So the coming truths until things settle more are hard to discover until they actually come to pass. For once... I am left to wonder of my own future rather then seeing it before me. Another mystery is not something often discovered once death becomes nary even a inconvenience at best. " He didn't really turn to face her again but did the vampire briefly. He gave her a momentary glance or two but she didn't truly seem to be taken much interest too. Although his eyes did linger upon her for a moment or two longer then the much smaller imp. "IF you have a guess at who I am there isn't any 'opportunity' for guessing or besting me. You both are simply intruders upon my memorial too..." He seemed to pause in silence as his eyes focused upon the tree rather sharply. Still floating within the air in a relaxed position floating looking as if he was reclined in a royal throne that wasn't actually there floating lightly with a up and down movement that was just ever so slightly easy to miss. Beyond those that new her best likely wouldn't see the resemblance in the wooden woman of this tree and the woman it was meant to mourn. A strange sensation of mourning self as well within it. It was a strange thing to lose something that was now apart of you as well as feeling you'd lost a piece of yourself even though it had become a piece of you as well. The growing changes weren't going to stop he felt and new shifts in power and mind. But for now even if he was unsure about this act it would serve its purpose all the same. "I suppose its really not your concern..." He'd groan though rather loudly as the vampire seemingly continued to speak. The idea of hunting down the smaller creation and this... thing now too began to give him more of a headache then a act of fun. At least that was part of the reason... But truly how fun was it being able to crush the insect under heel? Sooner or later it became less a sensation of power and more the annoyance of having the stain upon ones boot. What was the insect truly anyway compared to the one with the boot. The law of nature and power... The one with power an above the other was always the one in control.
"Those words mean nothing to me... People are looking for me all the time and often on the idea they'll avenge some lost loved one or fallen place or something. Merely broken souls with no other meaning in life then to venture after a impossible cause so they feel they have something left in life. They'll either eventually lose hope or fail when they find me. Anyone who chases across planets after a being like me for any type of simple revenge or hopes of besting me is a fool worth no more then a after thought before fading out of my memory and anyone elses. People often praise such foolish actions but don't often realize it happens far more then people think. Just as expected most such warriors die failing against impossible odds as why its often described as impossible odds. An nobody ever knows about it as they fade into obscure nothingness leaving only people to wonder where they went or what happened to them." He'd let out a snort looking into the wooden eyes as the energy stirred within the tree as soon the souls would be devoured and this tree would stand for many centuries here. Life energy ready to ensure its longevity as well as its chance to regrow if destroyed soon would be cemented into place. He drew in a few breaths as the moments passed on still not moving from his spot giving it a moment or two before speaking again to the creature and the abomination. "I don't truly care if you're dissapointed or not. You are a abomination that would be foolish not to bow or respect me. But then again to be insulted by that would be the true jest. You are a abomination just as she is a creation. You aren't exactly prime desire for servants or soldiers. AT best you abomination girl would be a evening desire to scratch a itch of mine. But even that is being generous to expect. Consider it only out of respect for what I'm doing here that I don't bind you in chains and vines where you stand and make you part of my creation. Believe me... If you'd done this say a few weeks ago I'd not have hesitated to simply incinerate you where you now stand. " He'd not felt interested enough to prod into her mind or see if that was possible. His eyes fixated upon the eyes of the tree. Only the words he imagined hearing from lips that couldn't move stayed his hand from killing them. "Its rather amusing though... Caesar. The name or title if you prefer taken after my first change. But perhaps now I'm not even that anymore. Its hard to truly know what I am any longer. In truth I believe I can rightly say... There are no men like me, There is only me. " Thinking on this as he felt a sadness and warmth growing within him.

"Master Nakiya's... lover?" The young girl asked with a raised eyebrow, her grip on the sword steadying as she tried to think of what that meant. Did that mean that they loved each other? So were they married then? If that was the case then she probably shouldn't have her sword raised against Jarvis since it might make her master mad but... then again Jarvis killed her friends... her teachers... everyone... "STOP calling me those things! My NAME is Lucy and I'm a human being! It... it doesn't matter that you're master's husband or whatever! You hurt-my-family!" She cried out angrily, her body starting to glow with a pink aura, her teeth grit together as Lucy's power came exploding forth. Of course Lucy had no idea how to use this power, hell she didn't even know that she had it, nor did she really realize she was using it! She just knew that she was VERY mad with this boy right now and she was going to make him regret this! She had to be a Hero! Just like Master Jie Shan taught her!
The little girl ran forward with her sword in hand, aiming a rather sloppy strike of her blade in a chopping motion towards Jarvis.
> wc: 229 > Lucy unknowing called on her inner power! (this means she's also learning ki suppression) PL is 450,605 > Used all of her strength to melee strike Jarvis since she has no offensive techs! 22,532PL
The revelation of having stumbled onto a matter she had no context of, beyond her own observations. Loss? Project? Master? It was a horrible mix of concerns outlining one thing to be a cause of behavior, as in what she had believed to be a maze of horrors, for whoever was strong enough to pass it.
But this talk about this girl being a project that was let loose, and this guy having an intimate relationship with her master, was where things just seemed all so absurd from her perspective. She could understand the failures that could come with creations, having not been able to succeed on her own, in programming her idea of an Android. Had wanted to ensure it wouldn't have some sort of identity crisis, that seemed to be the implication here.
All things that were still a work in progress, but something she was certain of. This was what this guy was apparently lacking, if he really had doubts of where the future would lead, although she could hardly sympathize. This sense of vulnerability she was getting alone, slight as it was, only made it more opportune to strike him down. Take a sample of the power she knew he must have still been hiding, all for herself, if she had been foolishness to do so.
For it would be a mistake on her part, to go and judge capability, based on words alone. She only knew he was confident enough to reveal such info, without much care. The idea of death merely being an inconvenience, had said enough about that, even if she wasn't still wondering how anyone with power, could really find the time to hold a relationship. She might have the saw potential of it herself, but that was different than actually acting on it.
"Oh, is that what this is? Seems to me you were acting as a beacon trying to draw in others, and that girl seems just as puzzled."
A memorial. That was really what he was calling everything? The phantoms attacking those trying to venture through, and that amalgamation of a tree, which could easily struck fear into the paranoid. It was far from being anything that she knew others wouldn't have simply called twisted.
Though when one had the kind of power this guy did, it didn't really matter what others thought. His idea of a memorial, could be imposed however he wished. That was the thing that people nearly always failed to understand about those who had more power than they did. How stopping them wasn't needed.
People, even those she considered to be her allies, just felt sympathy where they really shouldn't, and wind up suffering because of it. Acting as if the one with power was in the wrong, despite all the disclaimers and warnings that were tossed around, had never gone and be said in the first place.
"Still, if it's truly a memorial, then I can't say you're wrong. Only that it'd be easier to allow a sympathetic ear, seeing as how we're already here."
She was speaking for herself and the girl, though whether or not the latter would listen, was another matter entirely. The blonde didn't seem to really carry the kind of confidence, someone with a weapon really should have held. But it was also the matter of how the girl was likely to be like the rest she so often met, who felt a need to disturb anything here, rather than just letting the guy finish, and move on to who knows where else.
The groan that had escaped him, as he seemed to admit defeat at their presence, brought her in a much better mood, even after hearing that he couldn't identify just who she was alluding to. This was just only one of many differences that came to those who were able to rule, and be in power.
A majority of those she had killed as a Vampire, she had at least planned to have done so. Not remembering the name of a life he had injured, only goes to show just how less things started to matter, when having such power. If this was something she had, she knew for sure she could have done better with it.
"I suppose I shouldn't have expected as much. I might not have been exposed to many men who held this kind of power, but your words only proves to me that women should be the one to rule. You seem aware enough of what's typical, yet all the slaughtering and the like, isn't as memorable as it should be. There should be instances that wouldn't even take a second to be recalled on, to ignite the spark you're seeming to lack at the moment. It's hardly impressionable to be so lost in thought, there can't be a little banter."
Though there might have been plenty of instances in her life, where she had accessed the power of her forms, there was only a handful where doing so had been really worth it. The most recent and her favorite had been tapping into the strength of a Matriarch, just to talk down on that lesser Saiyan male, back on Namek. Nothing had ever really came out of it, when it came to even laying a hand on the Saiyan, but that was just the beauty of the memory.
She knew there would be a time when the opportunity would come, where she would be able to show the one who so obviously loathed her, just who she was choosing to disturb, as if his life had really mattered. The thought was enough to briefly flick her eyes into that glowing crimson, but she still continued to suppress that power, and remain displaying her natural brown eyes. Even the littlest bit of excitement, could prove to be a disadvantage.
This guy might have been clearly sulking at whoever it was he had lost, but she was still rather plenty interested in hearing more of his mentality. She had merely been told by Toru, that all the guy had done, was flaunt his power onto a city. Nothing she would ever find to be out of the ordinary.
What she hadn't been told, but was seeing for herself, was just how aware he seemed to be of his actions. To the point where he was even calling out how typical it was, for others to dive into business they shouldn't. She might have been doing the same right now, but she was confident in her power.
"And I don't expect you to care, knowing this couldn't possibly be all the power you possess. Though it's rich you're imposing that I'm the abomination, when you and just about anyone else I've met with significant power, always reveal themselves to be a hybrid of sorts. Beneficial as it might be, you're still only half of what you could be, trying to play a game of mix and match."
The kind of comfort she held for herself, she was always going to be reminded of, knowing that unlike most of those she had met, she was actually just a singular being. No other mixed genes or the like from other species, like some sort of experiment performed by the hands of another.
It was only the power that he held, that was really making him different than whatever experiment, the blonde was involved in. Whatever it was, she wasn't surprised in the slightest to find the girl powering up, before doing the most saddest attempt she had ever seen, with going to swing a sword.
"Say what you will about binding myself and the girl in chains, or going the boring route of incineration. I could easily ruin the mood, and tear her throat out just as well, but it's still all conjecture, of which I can only hope would lift your spirits."
She hadn't bat an eye at all into the threats of what he could have done, simply choosing to take the time to look at her nails, as she responded with her own. With what back and forth they had even managed to do so far, she couldn't really say her efforts to seek his signature out, had been in vain.
He might have attacked earth, but like she had figured when she had been told of his deeds by Toru, there must have been a clear reason for it, as simple as enjoying the fact he knew others would suffer. The way he had gotten specific about binding them, instead of just swatting them into trees, and even bringing up the idea of incineration, only proved that in her eyes. It was still rather savage for the sake of it, but this was still his power.
"Rukia. Though I'm certain you'll forget about it, just as any other name, if you're truly taking this hard. Outside of wishing to act upon vengeance I can't say might even be real, knowing what I've seen myself coming here, you'll have to forgive the girl for seemingly being associated with those carrying soft hearts. As you've said, she and most people don't understand how many lives are so often lost. You should continue on with the memorial. It can't be as bad as that big tree, not that long ago."
With how the blonde having already initiating what she had felt about this guy's words, which couldn't have possibly been anything other than vengeance, she had prepared herself in the case that the girl was either smacked to the side, or directed at her. As much as she had enjoyed banter and their conjecture, it was difficult to really tell what others were thinking. She had simply wanted to gesture for the guy to pretend they weren't here if he could.
Though that was much easier said than done, if he was really taking whatever he had lost, hard. Didn't help the fact that the other girl ignored the guy admitting that it was a memorial, all because those she knew had gotten hurt. Having gotten here before the girl, she couldn't even tell if the blonde was referring to illusions, or if this guy had actually attacked those she knew. Either way, the lunge had certainly lacked the kind of respect to be there.
She stood to the side, brown eyes continuing to watch over the two.

Rukia briefly powers up to Refined Control [x12] for a PL of 3,724,476, as she talks to Caesar about igniting a spark, before suppressing back to 310,373.
He rolled his eyes at the exceedingly growing annoyance he felt at the child with her own personality issues at his side. He hardly saw any reason why she got worked up as she did. A blade hacking down at him. A slash cutting his flesh as blood leaked lightly out of his side. A slash mark upon his shirt and ribs as his white cloth began to stain with crimson blood. But he didn't seem to noticed as he placed a hand to his chin lost in thought and irritation. Wondering why truly was she so bothered? As if being a creation was truly so bad... Try being a god, your closest friend, and whatever you once were all rolled up into one! Really it all seemed useless dribble to get so angry about. Nearly deflating any want to harm her either. It wasn't worth the irritation from Nakiya's later reaction anyway to smite the small abomination. Turning to face her as he floated upon the air giving her a light snort. Barely taller then here if not the same height. "You are by far one of the most irritating things I've had to deal with all day... I intended to think on whats happened here today in the passing of a old spirit to a new form. But you just prattle on against what you are and the loss of these useless mortals! You... Are highly annoying..." He'd say floating within the air finally lowering himself to stand upon his two bare feet upon the ground. The four foot five form looking at the girl with a look of annoyance as the blood pooled down his side lightly at his feet. The slash upon his clothing and body seemingly a think of no importance. He'd felt long before it landed a true kill was not intended so he payed it no mind then nor now. Pain was hardly a problem anymore given what all else he felt.
Eyes shifted back to the woman as well as he groaned looking off into the distance. His eyes half opened half lazily closed as if looking tired or weary. Annoyance weighing on him as he placed his hands upon his hips starting at the tree and drawing in a couple deep breaths as he did so. "You two are just here to annoy me aren't you... I don't hide my power no king or ruler should ever hide their power! I live a life most would only dream of my good and bad days are things most couldn't even imagine in scope. As for your thoughts on rulers you are wrong... I am mortal, nor pure kai, an my fusion technically makes me my old love as well so I'm in a sense her too? So one could propose I am all mortal, god, man, woman, and so many other things perhaps? But in truth such titles don't matter... Power rules above all else and always will. If you believe only women should rule over men and haven't seen it much in play then the women you have known must be weak. No one gets anywhere by simply saying others are strong and they should be strong instead." Groaning lightly in consideration of his next move. Drawing in a few breaths in silence chewing lightly on his tongue for a brief moment. "You both must me insane to pester me as you do. Even in this state and your powers you've shown you'd only slightly be a challenge. AN this is purely me relaxed power. But I do suppose at least you appear pleasing to the eye. Its a shame you have to be so upsetting... I must admit some time alone with you would interest me Rukia." Crimson eyes briefly looking over her as the Caesar seemed to think momentarily upon his own inner thoughts. The smell of blood lightly flowing within the air.

Her sword would easily cut through Jarvis, though it didn't do much damage as Lucy wasn't the least bit masterful with it yet and had barely applied any pressure to the blade at all. It did draw blood though and that made her face go pale. She'd really got him! Even though he didn't seem to react to the fact that he was cut she just stood there with a look of shock and mild horror on her face as she looked at the blood dripping from the blade. If only she was stronger, that one strike could have ended it all... she could have avenged the villagers and gotten rid of Jarvis, no matter how mad that would make her master.
She cautiously turned to look back towards Jarvis who had just walked away, and Rukia who seemed to only be egging on the boy.She even went as far as to suggest tearing out Lucy's throat! At that she dropped her sword, taking a step away from Rukia and Jarvis as she looked from one to the other in mild panic. Just what was she getting herself into... She couldn't avenge them, she couldn't beat either of them... there was no way anything she did here was going to have any significance.
She took a few more steps back before she would turn her back on them and take to the sky, quickly trying to leave the scene and go get help...

They weren't immediate ones, but they would surface nonetheless. This blonde hybrid she would say was certainly going to leave this place, confused and flustered. The girl so obviously had doubts that extended well beyond her own insecurities.
That was the only reason she could have guessed, as to why the hybrid had chosen to just outright slash at the cursed man. Sure, the girl had mentioned doing it out of vengeance, as she and many others like her, had chosen to do for the fallen.
It might not have even mattered, whether or not the hybrid even personally knew everyone. As what had already been admitted, the issue here was that the girl believed it was wrong that her family had gotten attacked. Rightfully so, though a bit of a lost cause to attempt vengeance, when the girl's power was just so beneath this guy's own. But that never stopped those acting on a moral compass. The only surprising thing that had came out of the girl's attempt to slash at the guy, was seeing it actually succeed.
If it had been her, the blonde would have either struck the ground itself, putting the girl into a rather vulnerable position, or be simply blocked with a finger. She was certain that shaky attempt, hadn't even hold the strength needed for more than that.
"So she's easily driven by her emotions. Blame that more on those she associates with."
Her words weren't meant at all to be in defense of the hybrid. All it simply was, had been her own decision to state the most obvious reason, which although she was aware he could care less for, she felt needed to be said nonetheless.
It might have been power that had people like them say what they wished, but that was no excuse with asserting certain things were true. Especially seeing as how he had already noted himself, just how typical it was for people to die by his hands.
The sight of the blood, and it easily hitting her senses, took her attention more than any mistake the blonde could have made. She could never help but always see it as a waste, when such a supply was pouring out in front of her, and onto the ground of all things. Blood didn't really take too long to dry either, so every passing second meant it would clot and just stop.
Another groan had came from the guy, which was much less surprising, having already gotten a feeling that it took more than just words to appease him. Each and everything he had also said such far, also unsurprisingly just lumped him with the hybrid.
She knew for sure that she was better, and had she been a fledgling, would have taken offense. But those days were just so few and between now. He could go on about how typical they were all he wanted, but she had already addressed he was doing the same.
"You can lump me in with her if you wish, though the fact of the matter is, she was the only one who attacked. Don't go assume my acknowledgment this isn't your best, as you hiding anything either. I understand fine the full extent isn’t needed for every little thing, and memorial isn’t meant to be one of them."
It was difficult to even say how much he was actually even listening, or if he was going to just continue misconstruing things. He seemed he was like the type of guy to have people working for him. Who in a position of power like this, wouldn’t do the same?
She herself, had already an assortment of people working for her, and one of those comforts was knowing that if things were to go unpleasant, they would arrive at her location to help her flee the scene. There was no shame in doing so, unlike many believed.
It was pointless trying for a fight where even at her best, she couldn’t have possibly even reached what he hadn’t even used. Gathering the usual of her allies here just as well, would have only added a few million, and caused unnecessary death on her hands.
If she were to die, it was going to be alone. The others had instructions to go and carry out her work in her stead, though she couldn’t imagine they would ever get to the level of power where they could take vengeance. It was simpler to find an outsider for that.
”A life considered good is too dependent on the person’s own satisfaction to assert they would even wish wanting to go through the nuances that comes with getting better. It’s a mistake to believe I’m not content with own fulfillings at the moment.”
More assertions came about, which she had no issues with challenging. He didn’t even have to go and believe her either, being the one with more power. But she could easily see with all of his own doubts, he might just insist that he was actually accurate.
This talked about being fused with someone else, and whatever a Kai was, she could only really piece together meant that he was theoretically sharing a mind. One who had likely had a weaker influence if she were to actually go and speculate here.
She hadn’t even been told all that much from Toru that could have captured his personality as anything but someone who actively flaunted his power. Even if this other half had been like minded, she would have expected a more obvious difference.
The lack of one, as far as she knew, would imply her assumptions about a weaker influence was correct. But she was already willing to believe anyway, that what he was saying was even true and not just madness, because of power alone.
Thinking was just one of the things that came with gaining power, knowing that there wasn’t many who could challenge if. If he had his mind merged, then she didn’t doubt at all that he likely would have had some time around to even do so.
”A women coming up to rule, requires time like anything else. Even shorter through fusion, assuming someone fitting could even be found in the first place. Events will surface and won’t even wait until then, but no one’s saying it has to. If the world falls before then, there’s just simply no options to seek.”
The idea that things were just so simple, really was the folly that could come from power, and who obtained it. Things just couldn’t be marked off as so, even if he tried to assert it. If an afterlife was to really be believed, she’d be laughing at the insistence there too.
She had noticed the hybrid had started to back away, as he simply just continued to lump her with the blonde. It was an obvious exaggeration that came with his frustrations, but still didn’t fail to make her any less peeved at his assumptions.
The other girl was insane in her eyes, for not simply accepting he could do what he wished, and imposing her own feelings of vengeance, which she still wasn’t sure had actually even happened, what with the illusions that came on the way here.
”If you think insanity is supposed to be insulting, I would still be backed there, attacked by the illusions. And it’s just simply convenient that her misconstruing what’s going on, is an excuse she’s taking to leave.”
Beyond whatever else was going on in the head of that hybrid, it must have been her casual utterance she would have ripped the girl’s throat, that further gave reason for the blonde to leave. She must have really associated with the wrong people.
With the kind of banter that she was viewing things in the first place, she would have thought the girl would have at least understood she was under her protection, even if they were both strangers. It was the least she could do with what little power they had.
A shame, really. If things had gone wrong much earlier, she could have used working together with the girl, if only to use as leverage in the future. But she supposed that was just one of the troubles that life just so wanted to go and give her.
”I suppose I could say the same with not having that one’s company. I’m still not certain if what she says was merely just the illusions she received on the way here. Either way, I’ll repeat the fact that she’s the one unaware of things, and lacks the comfort I possess.”
The idea that she was eye candy, was the kind of thing that just made her want to gag. Those crimson eyes that could rival her own, had she been transformed, still wasn’t remotely enough to take away the fact that he was cursed to look young.
She also wasn’t the type of girl to both shy away, and fawn over guys either, if that was what he was expecting from even saying that sort of thing. There was also the more obvious intentions, which she doubted knowing how much he groaned.
Nor would even come without struggle. Whether he realized it himself or not, everything was practically in its peak when it came to the kind of comfort she had. That momentary flick of power, her people knew to keep an eye on things.
It was the sole reason that along with matching his stare with her regular own brown eyes, she hadn’t hesitated to quickly speed and trace a finger along the patch of blood he had on him, which immediately drifted towards her mouth for a taste.
The closest thing to a bite from the source she was positive she could ever had, unless she went and grew in power herself to match his. There was an estimation with these sort of things, and it was progress that wouldn’t just come so easily.
”I’m sure you have people working under you, as do I, which makes me question your demeanor on days where you’re not mourning. Even if we’re all just lesser in comparison, I haven’t seen anything from you suggesting you’ve dwelled in intimate comfort as of late. It’s detrimental not to have such reliefs.”
She had nothing else but conversation to try transitioning into a more positive manner, if the hybrid was going to really leave.
He watched the little one flee his hand holding to the sky as if contemplating stopping her but quickly lowering as he wished her no harm. Allowing her to go now was most likely the best path it could have taken. He'd sigh once his hand had lowered and he could now turn his full attention back towards. He'd eye her curiously at the idea of blaming Lucy's behavior on those she was raised or associated with. He eyed her carefully at her ideas of power and female rulers. He didn't see how anything but power and fear made a difference. It was always power, the strength to drive fear and envy of the people into those bellow you that kept a ruler in power. He remained silent at the notions however not flinching either but did draw in a light breath deep when her finger had touched him. Yet he hadn't so much at flinched from it. As the stronger creature had no fear of the touch. Her finger touched her lips as he watched her taste his blood. He eyed her for that for a long moment. His silence had stayed through all her comments as if soaking them in this time but his eyes seemed to twinge to the touch and observation. Facing with a bit more focus it seemed now as he also relaxed. Only twitching on his left eye briefly at her final comment. Given he was confused on... what she was implying. "Intimate comfort has avoided me of late. But not for reasons you may imagine... My mourning as you would call it is strange. I have neither truly lost or still hold one who held importance to me. I would not lose what was mine... That spirit is now part of me and will remain so for all time. They are me as I am them, Rather romantic in some aspects." He'd say gulping lightly as if she'd had some effect on him.
Eyeing her lips and the scent of blood he could ever so lightly pick up that flowed between them now and not just from his own body. "I feel though your idea of such comfort or release may be vastly different then my own. You seem to favor something of a slightly different carnal variety. Tell me... How does it taste?" He'd ask calmly as with a snap of magic his upper clothing was gone. Revealing the wound more directly and blood that seeped from a elongated slice in his side. A wound he'd remove before long when the time was right. But his expression looked amused but only lightly so hiding whatever this truly was. Whether it was testing or teasing to show her this. "Would you enjoy some... intimate relief... creature?" Adding a bit of insult at the end but holding a lightly grin. His head leaning to the side as well showing his neck to the son but leaning just slightly to the side as if to show it to her. When she'd touched him it allowed him just enough time to pry into her mind a little more easily without having to use his mental tendrils. "You've intrigued me... You don't even seem to fear me or come with anger like so many others do. Making me curious as this is no easy feat any longer. Such feats deserve reward do they not? If its strange someone so small offering such a reward perhaps you have preferences?" He'd say his body shifting and for a moment after a magical light formed he stood before after the glow faded a taller woman. Blonde hair and green eyes looking back his clothing changed as well to green traveler apparel. Something shook in her eyes though from perhaps being uncomfortable in such a body. But Its energy felt natural and unchanged. As if this was as natural a form as ever. "Perhaps you hold more strange intrigues?" He'd say shifting yet again and a moment after a second glow it would appear as if Rukia herself now stood before the vampire. A hand holding her brown hair back as if to offer the neck ever still. The clothing the same as well. "Or perhaps you'd enjoy the image most have come to fear..." With a final twinge of light appearing before her after a light had come and faded the image of Jarvis as he once was a few days prior before this power had awakened. His power shifting as well as when he looked like Rukia unlike these other forms it felt like he had some covering over his power. Close sensation could have revealed her form was a trick while the others ran deeper. Jarvis looked at her now a bit taller and with aqua hair and eyes looking back at her. His clothing similar to before in his smaller form but a few more trinkets adorned to his body of jewelry as he often preferred. "I hold many powers some of which surprise even me. Being a unnatural god deformed as other beings above would see it does come with its perks as well. So tell me what 'it' is you seek. What do you see for comfort. Perhaps you'll prove more entertaining since I've allowed you a personal audience by letting the little one leave." Eyes watching her carefully now. His grin a bit more smug in this form as he'd been told as well many times before the change. He couldn't deny she interested him but given something hidden inside him that pained him and his natural behavior as well. Explaining further his own lack of comfort directly or teasing his own desires would have been impossible. So instead he elected to play this game as those that knew him may have recognized. Trying to tease her senses and desires like puppet strings. The neck of a god shown to her now that was seen as a horror story and monster to most the known galaxy and even the after life. Truthfully he himself allowed himself to become lightly lost in the game. It helped distract from other unpleasantness.
