It wasn't something he ever truly adjusted too being able to go where pleased when he pleased. He'd only truly made one person resembling a friend but beyond that he could only keep a distant reach from the Saiyans. The Namekians had proven kind though and didn't ask many questions the few times he ventured near waters to fish or what forest there was to hunt. Sometimes they shared water with him but they didn't require food so that was mostly up to him or when he moved near the saiyans. But he never could find the emotion or will to go any closer then that. Something always within missing as the freedom began to feel more shackling then the bonds did. As if now he was weighted to one place more then ever. Each move harder then the last as the time on this planet went on. Finding dark spots to sleep and rest within the region given the planets two suns made night a rare occasion. Although when it did come the stars were always a relaxing sensation for him to gaze upon. Remembering how they comforting him in the worst days before. The boy barely a teen young and so cracked and broken from the world. He wasn't far from the now rebuilt ruins of the Guru. Remembering days passed when it was just a shell he'd used as a hideout for a time.
He lay now though broken and beaten from a run in with the Namekian mutants. Demon tribes that roamed and at times picked fights usually remaining alone. But proving a light more restless ever since saiyans had settled upon this planet and a Guru had taken point. His body bruised and battered as he lay under the coverage of a old broken namekian hut within the wastes. He lay passed out face in the cool dirt the broken roof shading his body from the sun. Black and blue splotches dotted his visible flesh. His eyes seemed woozy as if he was fading in and out of a waking state. The cool dirt under him and shade above made him just want to drift to sleep. His supplies and other things scattered and broken up throughout the ruins of the hut. His body had several injuries as well some old and knew that had strange patterns to them. Wounds that were perhaps not caused be a enemy in some areas of his body. The fresh wounds however that battered him clearly came from a assaulting force though. He would drift in and out for coming hours. His body numb as he would simply drift in out a growing fever making his head rush keep fever dreams going when he was awake so he never truly was awoken but lost to his dreams. One of the few places he felt safe or calm anymore.
Ryuteki flew out of the lookout as fast as he could the instant that Trian was gone, stripping out of the robes that labelled him as the planet's Guru. He managed to strip down to his undershirt and white pants, keeping the robed tucked under his arm as discarding them would just be wasteful and the last thing he wanted to do was litter... the plant life would hardly appreciate being suffocated by the clothing any more than he did.
"Hmm... I can't head back to the mountains, Trian will look for me there first... then again, I still can't suppress my energy so I suppose it won't be long until he comes to find me... what a bother, I really just want a single afternoon to myself... is that so much to ask..." Ryuteki would speak to himself as his white aura blasted around him all of a sudden, pushing the young Namekian to move even faster through the skies. His first instinct was to fly as far away from the lookout as possible, though as Ryuteki flew over the old ruins of the nearby village he slowed down, and eventually came to a stop above the old shattered buildings.
"This place... This is where father would bring me when I was young, to play with the other children... I don't remember it getting so severely damaged..." He said lowly, descending towards the ground below and landing with a light click of his boot. He would land next to one of the broken buildings, gently placing his hand on it and sighing as if he could feel the buildings pain. This place, it only reminded Ryuteki that Namek wasn't as peaceful as his brothers made it out to be. While it was a far cry from the horrors many other races seemed to have to endure it was still far from paradise... especially now with the saiyans on world, there would be more towns like these in the future... not due to those saiyans certainly, but it seemed wherever they went, trouble followed. He only hoped that this Alliance with them was truly worth wild in the end.
As Ryuteki walked along the broken village he would soon come to find stains of blood on the grass at his feet. He knelt down and rubbed his finger against the blood and scowled slightly. This blood was old, though not caked meaning it had barely been a day since whatever had been injured came through this way. He stood back up and looked around for more traces of the blood, following it's faint trail until he would finally find what it led too. There lay a body in the shadows of one of the broken buildings, beaten and bruise much like the town itself.
Ryuteki hurried over to the man's side, at first glance he could only assume he was a saiyan as they were the only other aliens on the planet beyond miss Rukia and her allies, though this saiyan didn't have a visible tail. It was no matter, it didn't matter what race the boy was. He needed help and Ryu was quick to give it to him. He would place his green hands atop the boy's chest and close his eyes for a moment, focusing his energy as he would begin to heal the boy.
Tokibi coughed after a few moments of the healing energy washing through his body. But he groaned only at first. His body shifting as if he was stuck in a dazed mind state. Feverish and pained while as well exhausted perhaps. He coughed again after a few moments his opening lazily as he felt himself heavy from prior events. Looking up to see A Namekian but one of the normal breeds from the look of it. Not added facial problems or head fins. No strange mutations that made him look like one of those mutant creatures. He looked down at the mans hands as he lay flat on his back. Looking almost confused if not saddened or worried from the help he was receiving.
"Why?..." He'd mutter softly before passing out again. His head falling to the side. His body adjusting to the healing energy though as it worked its way within him aiding the parts of him that needed it most internally. Leaving mainly his superficial wounds only. His breathing felt raspy and lightly broken but it was becoming more and more stable with the passing moments.
Ryuteki kept his hands atop the boy for a long time, transferring his aura into him to heal his internal injuries. For a while it seemed he was perhaps too late, that the boy was already too far gone for his healing to take any effect, though when the boy started to stir Ryuteki would smile gently, happy that he hadn't been too late. It was a strange turn of fate that Ryu would just so happen to be passing through this old village.
"Please, don't speak. Conserve your energy." He said gently just as the boy seemed to pass out again. It wouldn't do anyone any good if Ryu ran out of energy out here... the boy had been attacked by something so he couldn't leave himself vulnerable out here. Instead he would stop healing him when he felt he had healed enough of his internal injuries, then lifted him up into his arms before taking off into the sky and soaring back towards the lookout. There was no safer place to keep the boy anyways, as even the Demon clan would think twice before attacking when there was an active Guru. Even if they did, Trian alone was powerful enough to ward them off.
He would fly the short distance back to the lookout, landing by the front entrance and slipping inside. With his feet he would kick a few of the soft cushions together to create a makeshift bed then would gently place Tokibi on top of it. He would take a heavy breath before once more placing his hands on top of the way and continuing to heal him. At least while he was unconscious he could regain his strength.
IT would all have been a hazy dream to Tokibi. Not truly realizing he'd been carried or moved until it had already happened. The cool air from being moved through the air the only thing he semi acknowledged. The cool sensation of the air against him relaxed his body. Relaxing himself lightly as his tension eased just lightly throughout his body. It was a small relief to a boy whose body and emotions were shattered metaphorically back at the prior scene.
It would take some time of focus for several hours before he'd finally stir more awoken. A few light groans leaving his lips as his body shifted just lightly upon the cushions. Thankfully softer on his frame then the hard soil of the namekian dirt. His eyes slowly sliding open as he looked upward to the ceiling a gasp leaving his lips as if sounding like a sailor parched for water while trapped at sea. "W-water..." Was all he said in a sad and weak voice. Which may have surprised Ryuteki given how long the boy had been out.
Ryuteki had left the young boy in the care of his assistant, Trian as he had gone out to gather some herbs from the nearby village. It was strange that the boy hadn't awoken yet from the obvious beating he had received and that bothered him a little bit. There really was only one explanation and that was the boy subconsciously didn't want to awaken... that a part of his psyche kept him in that state to protect him.
"Thank you" He would say kindly to one of his youngest brothers as he came up with a wrapped bundle of the herbs Ryuteki had requested. He would pat the small boy on the head before taking to the air slowly, waving to his brethren below before flying off towards his lookout once more.
His lookout... it was still so odd to say that now. Even though he had grown up in that very building, he never thought he would be living inside of it again after he had run away... It was definitely a strange feeling to be back, a conflicted feeling that was slowly subsiding. Part of him still wanted to run, to live on his own and spend his days staring at the clouds, but another part of him had stepped right into the role of Guru and wanted to remain there.
His daydreaming lasted until the Namekian reached the lookout, and only then did he break free of his thoughts. He would land by the front door and step through the threshold just as he heard the cry for water. He blinked, looking confused for a moment before he would stick the herbs into the upper half of his robe, running off to the jug of water he normally kept for himself. He was more than happy to share it with the boy, and was glad he had recently refilled it. He took the jug over and poured it into a gourde, then made his way back over to the boy and sat down next to him.
"Be still, let me help you." He would say gently, slipping one hand underneath Tokibi's neck to help prop him up so he could drink the water more comfortably. He would then bring the gourde to his lips and carefully aid the young saiyan drink it.
As tired as he was he welcomed the aid feeling his head lifted and drinking at the water slowly at first once the gourd touched his lips. His hand slipping up towards it briefly as he slurped greedily for a moment given his parched throat and pounding head. But quickly ended up chocking out some of it gasping as could often happen in such situations remaining lightly weak in the grasp of the Guru. Taking in a slow but lightly relieved breath now that his throat did not burn as much as other parts of his body did. "Thanks... It was starting to get hard to breathe from how much I needed that." He'd add weakly looking up with tired eyes. His head all but relying on the man holding it up.
He looked like he wanted to sleep but he'd gotten to much rest already. His body while weary fought against simply sleeping yet again. His head pounding but slowly easing at least from getting some water in his system. Reaching his hand out and trying to get the man to help him yet again though a moment after take a little more in but more calmly this time. The cool sensation easing his throat and body.
"Don't suppose... You could tell me where I am could you?" He'd say softly trying to give a weak smile. More so just thankful at present it appeared he was in a safe environment at least. He had grown used to expecting the worst most often from the galaxy so such events as these turn outs were quite pleasing ones indeed.
"Of course. I apologize if your body still ails you, I have no experience healing saiyans therefore my technique is somewhat flawed" Ryuteki would apologize with a light bow of his head as apology. He would watch however as the saiyan continued to drink, refilling his glass in case he needed more. It was understandable that he be so thirsty after having been out cold for so long.
The poor boy still looked like a wreck, as if Ryuteki's healing had done nothing at all to aid him. Thankfully he knew it had, as there were no longer any bruises upon his body, but any damage done to the boy's spirit wouldn't be so easy to repair. A broken spirit could feel as real as a broken body, and he feared perhaps this is what ailed the young boy.
"You are currently within Guru's Lookout, my name is Ryuteki and I've been the one caring for you since I found you. Unless you wish to speak of what happened, I will not pry. If you'll allow me to continue healing you, then you may stay as long as is needed." He assured him, moving aside only to put the jug of water back down carefully atop the counter where he had first taken it.

He just sorta chuckled at the strange offer. It was so strange he couldn't help but laugh that one of the stipulations be he had to allow the main continue to help him. Such a offer anywhere he'd known as a child or his troubled young adult life would have come with several catches and stipulations. Nothing in this world came for free or without a cost he'd learned the hard way. The vast majority of the galaxy were unkind and cruel only wanting for themselves and to take all they could from you and that was just sadly the cold hard truth of this life. But in truth it wasn't like he could truly say no and just walk out. If this person did have anything sneaky up his sleeve to come Tokibi figured it was best just to bite the bullet and wait to see when that trick would come. "I still feel like a wreck but its better then I felt before you found me or at least from what I can remember I'm pretty sure that's the case. So if you want to keep helping me I'd be much appreciated my green friend." He'd say with a coy perhaps less then sincere grin but still nothing to bad or not implying he was up to any mischief just perhaps a cautious or unsure gesture.
He'd shift lightly forcing himself to sit up lightly a bit more so he could at least more better speak and have a conversation and not feel like he was as much of a mess as he truly was. Leaning his back against the nearby wall trying to hide the pain it caused him to move and the like. "Of what happened? Heh to tell you why I'm such a mess would take a long story given all I've been through. But the most recent was a bit of a run in with those creepy variations of your kind. The scale covered ones that seem to just wanna wreak havoc then talk. Kinda weird given the rest of you are so kind and peaceful it seems at your core. You'd imagine my surprise when I discovered or more so they discovered me and while I was in a vulnerable situation dealing with some... special wounds... of my own. They got the surprise on me. Guess everywhere has its darker side doesn't it?" He'd say rubbing his arm lightly the more odd looking wounds there that didn't resemble the slashes of the mutant clan. He was tired though and talked all the same communicating with this man. If this really was where he said it was he'd heard of it from some of the other namekians at least. So if all was as the man said it was he felt he was at least in what should have been a safe place.
Ryuteki just nodded gently and offered but a faint smile in return to the young boy who seemed much to awkward to truly be a saiyan... it really was odd, he felt the same way as the saiyans did but he had no tail, nor did he have the same air of pride most of the ones he encountered did. Maybe he had been mistaken and this boy wasn't a saiyan at all? Although, he hadn't said otherwise either. The boy really was a large mystery to the Namekian.
As he sat up, Ryuteki walked up next to him and placed his hand on his shoulder gently, another warm and gentle sensation passing from his hand and into the boy's body as he continued to heal him. It was only whenever Tokibi mentioned the Demon Clan did Ryu suddenly stop, caught off guard.
"The Demon Clan... " He sighed heavily, bringing his hand up to his forehead as he brushed it against his antennae for a moment, almost like a human passing their hand through their hair. His gaze shifted away from Ryuteki and to the bulbous windows of the Lookout, almost expecting the sacred building to be surrounded all of a sudden.
"They attacked you without provocation then? I was hoping that they would have calmed themselves when I became Guru but it seems I still have much to do with regards to them... please, accept my apology on their behalf. While they are corrupt, at their core they are still my kin. I wish I could help them, however I don't know of a way to do so... all I can do for now is try to control their more aggressive urges..." Ryu couldn't help but feel guilty, as if he himself had been the one to hurt the boy upon finding out about the Demon Clan. Honestly, Ryuteki hadn't done anything in regards to them because he still feared them, he feared the Demons they were able to summon and didn't feel ready to confront them alone... maybe in time he would, but not now... and because of his weakness, this boy had been hurt.
He couldn't but quickly look at the hand that touched his shoulder as he sat up pained. He gave a grin and seemed to chuckle as if something was funny about it or strangely amusing. All he could imagine was ulterior motives from such kindness. Even if this place was amusing he found it darkly amusing and expected such things to be as his past even in such a setting as he was in now. He'd let a breath and a light sight holding back the urge to chuckle again at the dark humor behind the sensations he felt from the warm gesture. "Sounds like they are a regular problem? Heh guess this place isn't as peaceful always as it seems at first huh?" Giving a light grin and deep breath straightening himself up a bit more. "Guru you said? What exactly does all of that mean again? Curious exactly who has me here after all." He'd say jestingly questioningly trying to gather a bit of information in passing as he was saving up some of his strength for parting ways in a short time from now.
"The Demon clan have always been... different than the rest of our people. It isn't so much that they are a problem, but more so the fact that we do not how to cure them of their Demonic afflictions. There have been many studies attempted to find out what turns a Namekian into one like those of the Demon clans, but so far we've been unsuccessful. Regardless of that, they are still out brothers in the end so we do what we can to help them." Ryuteki clarified, a light tinge of sadness to his voice, contradicting what seemed to be a happy expression. The Demon clan... they had interested him for quite some time, especially when he had exiled himself to the mountains. By studying them, he had hoped to learn of the creature that had devoured his father... by studying them he had hoped to find a way to rid their Demonic influence and bring a planetary peace back to Namek. Although, Tokibi was right that even Namek wasn't completely at peace, and it hadn't been for a great many years.
His attention was brought back to the situation at hand when Tokibi asked him just what it meant to be Guru. That ws a loaded question if you really though about it, but he supposed he didn't need to go into all of the minute details.
"You speak as if I am holding you here against your will? If you feel confined then you are free to step outside if that is what you wish young warrior. As for your question, Guru is the title given to the Namekian's spiritual leader. I guide my people as best I can towards the best future we can achieve. I help my brothers with many sorts of issues, and guard knowledge sacred to our clans, as is every Guru's duty." He explained to him in what little words he could. There was nothing to hide about being Guru, that much was true, but he doubted that the boy wanted to sit there and listen to a boring lecture about his many duties.
