Nasu’s power was overflowing and he could feel it clearly; this was only the second time he had been using this form and yet it felt much better than his normal Super Saiyan God form. And the ki control that came with it was outstanding, it was almost as if he could precisely control the output of every single ounce of ki he had inside of his body, being able to measure himself and an opponent much easier than when using any of the regular super saiyan forms.
Cornatto responded by ascending to the Super Saiyan Two form and Nasu just kept the smirk on his face, staring at the earthling saiyan as if he posed absolutely no threat; and at this point he didn’t. The stakes had never been hire and with the risk of erasure, Nasu knew that taking part in the tournament was a must. Hell, even Chris and Jarvis should be invited despite their differences and the bitter taste it would leave in his mouth. But at this point pride and prejudice would only mean the final and eternal death.
The super saiyan two repeated the name and Nasu nodded. ”You better remember this name, Cornatto. And you better train hard to achieve this form in the future because…” Nasu briefly paused to point his index finger at Cornatto’s face. ”If that’s all the power you have, you might as well don’t even bother with the tournament. You will be a handicap.” he arrogantly stated. As a matter of fact, Nasu knew he could be helpful even at that level, but he was teasing Cornatto, trying to get under his skin to, perhaps, awaken a deep rage inside of him, a will to overcome any obstacle and to ascend even further.
He didn’t know if it was the effect of his words or if he would’ve done it anyway, but Cornatto roared and darted forward at full speed with his sparkling aura screeching like a thousand birds. He tried to hit Nasu with a barrage of strikes and Nasu didn’t even flinch, allowing him to strike him to his heart’s contempt. The most the strikes would do was to move his face just a bit, but they obviously didn’t injure him in the slightest. Nasu’s body was so strengthened by his godly ki that it felt like it had a barrier around his skin.
”Lacking power, lacking spirit, lacking everything.” he simply said with a more serious expression now.
“It’s simply amazing, there’s nothing else to it. But, how did he achieve this?”
The Earthling Saiyan’s thoughts took over his mind as he stared in his Super Saiyan Two with a frown on his face, he was perplexed even as to how such form came to be— there was no doubt, no. Nasu had surpassed his father in all aspects, perhaps he had done so already, but if he were, to be honest, he guessed that it was to be expected from the King of all Saiyans.
In the end, Nasu had become the strongest Saiyan alive for the moment— well, they were dead, but death wasn’t all that much of a big deal, after all. Either way, he could only see that Nasu wasn’t certainly going to make it easy for Corn or possibly, it was going to end faster than he had anticipated. But Cornatto hadn’t challenged Nasu just to win in the first place, he expected to gain something more out of this and he was going to give it his all to accomplish his goal.
The Earthling Saiyan glared at Nasu as the latter one mentioned that he’d be a handicap at the Tournament, he didn’t know quite well what he was on about but he wasn’t certain just going to take that without showing him what he was capable of— although Nasu’s powers had become beyond just any Super Saiyan Three, Corn could probably take him on for a little while. The problem was just how much, even Super Saiyan Two Kaioken Times Ten was barely as strong as a Super Saiyan Three’s power, how was he going to face something that was supposedly beyond the most legendary transformation of them all? It was certainly quite a complicated case, but he believed he could arrange something to at least keep himself standing— unless Nasu were to aim a finishing blow at him right away.
“I will show you!”
As Cornatto charged towards Nasu with the intent of striking him first, he couldn’t help but wonder what would have been the result. His ki was unsenseable and almost a mystery to the Saiyan if it weren’t for the fact that he had felt something similar once with Lagerus, he could only guess there had to be some sort of connection between the two powers— but no matter how much Nasu would power up, what he had felt from Lagerus was deeper than anything he had felt before. If Corn had to be sincere, what he was feeling at the moment might have been the strongest mortal’s power, though, since Lagerus was a God.
But what was Nasu? What had happened to the Saiyan warrior? It wasn’t certainly a common transformation for Saiyans to become blue and yet, Nasu looked more than confident— and the ‘Blue’ form never came before three either, which Cornatto believed to be the strongest. So, if he had to add the facts together, he could only guess that Blue was an even stronger transformation and perhaps his strongest, for Nasu to go all out and showcase such an incredible feeling.
The Earthling Saiyan’s roar sent out a powerful vibe within the ambient around them and as the man’s frame flew closer and closer— evidently about to deliver a potent blow and he did. Was it potent? Generally yes. But it was not effective. The man’s eyes widened ever so slightly as he stared at the Saiyan who had just taken the hit, he didn’t even try to defend himself. The man grit his teeth as his fist had seemingly done no damage, but he didn’t flinch either as he seemingly continued the physical assault as the martial artist drew back and launched his arms back and forth, dancing together with his shoulders as he tried to pull off a flurry on Nasu but such was pointless as Nasu’s power acted as some sort of tough skin and hardly did any damage if not just made him aware of Cornatto’s presence.
The Earthling Saiyan could totally go up to Kaioken Times Ten at the moment, but he was strictly observing his power, almost as if he was trying to realize just the depth of his strength or perhaps simply testing his strength as a martial artist— there was a huge difference between any other living being’s ki and Nasu’s, that was for sure. It was similar to the Gods’ but at the same time, it wouldn’t have made any sense in that case unless Nasu had become a God.
The man’s electric sparks raged stronger for a brief moment as the other tackled the man’s nerves during their fight, as to how he lacked simply everything and at that, Cornatto growled silently as he continued his assault on the armored Saiyan before he realized it was useless and pushed himself forth, and struck Nasu with his knee. Obviously, the result was the same.
“I HAVE GOT ONE FOR YOU…!! HAAAHHH!!!”
There was something that Cornatto could rely on; if he wanted to fight Nasu with all his power, he had to feel angry, because anger was a huge power-up to the Saiyan race’s strength. Although it wasn’t the smartest move and quite taxing, his move was indeed going to be a heavy blow to take for the King of all Saiyans and possibly too much for him to just block— the Saiyan was going to focus all of his energy in a single attack. The real blow was likely going to inflict it himself to his own stamina after this, but he couldn’t count on too many special moves— at least, not the deadly ones such as the Kienzan. The man’s form vanished and reappeared above him as the Saiyan pulled his arms back and cupped his hands together as a bright, sphere of ki formed in his hands. The man aimed then launched his hands forth, aimed to blast Nasu with a full power Kamehameha.

Normal attacks were completely useless against Nasu on his new Super Saiyan Blue form, it was like the sheer pressure of his ki generated some sort of natural barrier of energy around his body. His fiery-like aura was dancing around his body as he stared at his foe with the screeching and sparkling aura of the super saiyan two form and he couldn't help but to think that up until a while ago, that was his favored battle form. Those memories made him scoff, but nor in despise. No, he was feeling a bit nostalgic and for the very first time in his life he was recognizing that Cornatto was actually a true warrior; unlike many, he didn't cower in fear when facing such an overwhelming and impossible obstacle. He lacked power, that was true, but he didn't lack bravery. But Nasu wouldn't tell him that, he wanted him angry, he wanted him determined to break through his shell and grow stronger and thus he would push him towards the ceiling so he could pound him so hard he would pierce right through it.
Tired of trying to hit him to no avail, Cornatto once again put some distance in between them and started charging a technique he knew all too well: the Kamehameha Wave. Nasu could sense him clearly and the difference in their speed and reaction was so great that it seemed like the super saiyan two was moving in slow motion; when Cornatto appeared above Nasu, ready to fire his energy wave, his blue eyes were already there, staring at him, challenging him to do his worse and so he did. The energy wave was brutal in power and capable of besting most foes, but Nasu wasn't one of those foes.
The Super Saiyan Blue bent his knees for a moment, to gather impulse and then launched himself against the Kamehameha Wave and, against all odds, his body pierced right through it like it was nothing. Nasu sailed through the energy wave like it was the calm stream of a river and once he got close enough his body emerged from the energy with a smirk on his face, completely unscathed. "What a faint energy wave, Cornatto. It didn't even tickle." he said with a bit of a cocky tone before he moved his waist way too fast, aiming to hit him with a powerful elbow strike to the face in a well-known fashion: it was the Flash Spirit.
Nasu's attack was a simple technique, but the power packed behind it was so huge that it rivaled the power of Cornatto's full-powered Kamehameha Wave. Following the attempt to elbow strike his face, he would immediately follow it with a kick to the gut, aiming to throw him against the mountains on the horizon, causing further damage with the impact. In any case, once he was done with that he would just keep himself afloat, staring at Cornatto, wherever he may be at this point. His smirk faded away and he went back to his normal serious expression, followed by him folding his arms in front of his chest.
"Is that all you've got? Because honestly, this is not even my full power." and that was not arrogance, nor a bluff. He was being completely honest and that was absolutely scary. Most people would be shitting their pants now, but he knew Cornatto was better than that and oddly enough, that made his blood rush a little bit.

The Earthling Saiyan fired off his most powerful Kamehameha towards Nasu; probably the most powerful technique that he could make use of at the moment to face the Super Saiyan Blue on an equal level, or so he thought. When the bright, blue beam extended and aimed to blast Nasu— it didn’t even falter the other Saiyan. On the other hand, the armored Saiyan actually jumped into the attack almost as if he tried to launch himself towards the user.
“W-what?! No way!”
Cornatto struggled to pour more power into his Kamehameha as Nasu proceeded to literally pierce through the technique and end up on the other side, right in front of Cornatto as the man was shortly after knocked out by an elbow in the face and lost control over his Kamehameha that faded as nothing more than a chunk of energy that Corn had just wasted and left the man senseless for a brief moment before he recovered them and shortly after again, he was kicked with immense force away with a kick to the gut.
Cornatto arched his back with his arms hanging forward as he groaned with wide eyes and his mouth gaping before his body flew with an absurd speed right into a mountain. The Saiyan hit through the tough material that formed the mountains of hell and felt his bones almost crack at the impact; it was definitely a hard hit even if it had been provoked just by a few hits, they had admittedly more power than what Cornatto would have imagined at first. It was obvious now that the Earthling Saiyan couldn’t beat him in the Super Saiyan Two form.
The man scoffed as he was stuck in a fissure inside a mountain that the man had created with the mere impact of his body, he was stuck inside at first until he pushed one hand out and pulled his body outside as he struggled, he could feel his entire body trembling as he did the slightest movement. He couldn’t believe it. Nasu had truly passed through many walls that he didn’t even know that could exist and yet, the King of all Saiyans had ascended to another level that not even Natto did previously.
“This...—This is the power of a Super Saiyan Blue. Hah, amazing… And that was only the Flash Spirit. If he were to pull something more powerful than that, I’d be gone for sure,” - the man said to himself as he looked at himself and glared at his injuries, they were evident as scratches and minor bleeding over his body. The man bit the corner of his bottom lip ever so slightly with his canine as the fellow Saiyan announced that it wasn’t even his full power— it was difficult to admit, but Corn couldn’t defeat him, not like that. He had to go all out, and as much as he hated to say it, maybe he would try be a handicap in the tournament, in his Super Saiyan Two form.
“Then…”
The man murmured to himself as his expression hardened and lowered his head as the man fell into a power-up stance, his powerful fists tightened as his nails pressed against his skin. His biceps tightly pressed against his muscles as he tensed up his frame. A golden aura flared around the man’s body as he pressed his teeth together and lightning sparks raged around his form while his hairstyle ran wild against a fierce wind that had suddenly picked up.
“Then I will have to go beyond any other Super Saiyan level…!!— HAAAAAAHHHHH!!!”
The Turtle Hermit exclaimed and unleashed a far larger aura that wrapped his entire being. Suddenly, a sensation— not exactly a new level of power could easily be noticed by anyone in the Afterlife who knew how to sense energy, it was as if something insidious had just begun to come out. But it wasn’t anything malevolent, on the other hand, it could simply be frightening because of its intensity.
The man roared with all of the force within his vocal cords, so much that he could swear he felt his chest vibrate and not only that, but the ground beneath his feet itself had begun to shatter in tiny pieces and huge chunks of solid matter that began to float upwards towards the Heavens.
Cornatto arched his back, his eyes wide open as he pressed himself the most he could to pull it out— this time he’d unleash the power he had felt when he fought Yamcha, but that he couldn’t reach back then. It was painful. Corn’s throat itself had begun to feel sore from his screams that penetrated the barriers of Hell itself, as the man’s hair slowly and gradually began to extend, with his hair locks growing longer, and longer. His face, his glare, the veins that literally tightened against the man’s skin. He was pouring an overwhelming power out of his body.
Dust and powerful gusts of wind quickly lifted off the ground and pushed everything else around him away, as the mountain itself that he had earlier crashed into— utterly shattered before it collapsed onto its own rubble.
It wasn’t long until the dimension itself began to alter and bend itself— the skies themselves changed into a darker shade of blue in a twisting motion that would likely be taken for hallucinations ruled supreme over the three Saiyans’ heads and as circular waves, similar to the ones one would see after throwing a pebble into a lake, all of them expanded around Cornatto’s frame.
“HHHAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!”
The Afterlife trembled. It was shaking at the Super Saiyan’s transformation.
The Earthling Saiyan could finally feel it, deep within his soul. The power that vibrated deep down his chest, roaring like a mighty, raging Oozaru. The Oozaru that hid inside his spirit— No matter the form— Super Saiyan Two, Super Saiyan, Adult or Child.
He was a pure-blooded Saiyan warrior.
The warrior pushed his bust forward and unleashed a roar with the strength and vocals of a Great Ape and unleashed a light brighter than ever, as everything turned white for a few moment and powered up into the strongest form that he had ever achieved before. The bright light soon turned only into a dim reminiscence of his power, slowly fading away and left only dust and smoke that hid the man’s frame for a few moments.
[Super Saiyan Three [x42] | Power Level: 15.776.292]
But as it cleared out, the mirage of the man’s efforts was finally visible; his primate expression, showing no trace of his eyebrows but rather a thick forehead followed by a long, massive crest of golden hair locks. The man’s gaze was firm and settled off the armored Saiyan until a few moments later when he finally adverted his glance and turned his head to look at Nasu.
“This is thanks to you. Fightin’ you makes me feel unbelievable power boilin’ up from inside.”
The Super Saiyan Three then floated at high speed towards Nasu and attempted to strike him with a haymaker.

A clean hit and Cornatto was sent flying through the mountains of Hell and Nasu just stood there watching as he hit thing after thing until he hit the ground, pretty much defeated in his Super Saiyan 2 form. There was no way he could even faze Nasu in that limited form now that he had achieved through mastery over his godly ki and had this form at his disposal, the ultimate saiyan form, the pinnacle of strength and the symbol of perfection. Oddly enough, Cornatto didn't seem angry with that at all. Rather, he seemed amused and that intrigued Nasu. "Did I hit him on the head way too hard, or is he just a true idiot?" he asked himself as he folded his arms in front of his chest with a thoughtful expression on his face, even leaning his head to the side a bit as he tried to figure out the earthling saiyan. Truth be told, Cornatto has always been an odd figure, Nasu thought as much ever since he was a child witnessing him training with his father on Planet Natto, back in the days he was still a Major of the Saiyan Alliance, prior to the war. His tenacity was one of his most distinguishing traits, he had to give him that, but in all honesty, what was there left for him to do at this point?
Well, that was when he revealed he would push himself beyond the normal super saiyan levels, prompting Nasu to arch one of his eyebrows. "With this level of yours you can't handle Super Saiyan Three, you bug." he coldly stated, doubting he could even accomplish such a feat. "And if you fail, you will be completely depleted of energy." he added, trying to convince him to not even try as he still could use some more sparring, even though - at this point - it would be like fighting a rag doll. However, despite Nasu's warnings, he started trying anyway, and the Super Saiyan Blue rolled his bright blue eyes in his orbits, mildly annoyed at his stubbornness.
But something was off and Nasu quickly noticed that. "Uhn?" Cornatto was increasing his power level rather quickly which shouldn't be possible and, against all odds, his hair began to grow and this time Nasu was truly surprised. He unfolded his arms, letting them fall to the side of his body as he stared at the transformation which was taking place. "I can't believe it... He is actually doing it..." and, just like that, he managed to ascend into what Nasu considered the final evolution of the super saiyan form. Maybe he did it because of the perks of their spiritual bodies; Nasu did find it easier to sustain the form while he was training with Mira, but, in all honesty, it didn't seem like it was the most accurate answer. No, he had to admit it: Cornatto did it because he put his soul into it. Every cell of his body was determined to break through his shell and destroy the limiting roof above him, thus allowing the earthling saiyan to rise up to the skies above, where only the greatest could stand. That made Nasu crack a smirk on his face, feeling shockingly proud of his opponent.
"Now that's impressive." he commented mostly to himself and shortly after that it was Cornatto's turn to speak, thanking Nasu for helping him achieve that form, to which the Saiyan King answered with an excited laughter. In the next moment, Cornatto was already in front of him and as his fist approached Nasu, the Super Saiyan Blue had actually to move his hand fast enough to block his fist, holding it tightly but not with ease, as he could feel his arms' muscles tensing up. Nasu chuckled a bit more when that happened. "And I actually had to block this one! Seems you are better than I thought, Cornatto!" he complimented him, but a warrior's compliment is not solely based on words and with that in Mind, Nasu let go of his hand and aimed to hit him with a powerful hook to his guts, using his other hand.
The power built up in his form in a manner that Cornatto had never experienced before; perhaps only when he had attained the level of a Super Saiyan Two but with the power of Kaioken Times Ten boosting him up, but this was a feeling of its own and it felt great. So, this was Super Saiyan Three. He had seen the form before, but to think he’d have finally attained it himself, he couldn’t be more satisfied than he was at the moment. Corn had long sought to achieve this form and yet, he believed it would have taken him longer than the time he had actually spent in the Afterlife.
At every single second that passed, though, he’d eventually make amends with the real problem beneath the secret of the Super Saiyan Three form; it was taxing, a lot. Not to mention the fact that Cornatto had somehow cheated his body’s strength, therefore actually unlocking the form with lesser power than what he had expected. It was difficult, neither simple nor easy were adjectives possible to use for such feat at all.
“I don’t have all the power required to keep up this form. I already knew Three is supposed to burn your stamina. If I don’t even have all of the power, it’s going to suck more strength out of my body to sustain it,” - the man thought to himself, his primate forehead furrowed ever so slightly; perhaps both in a acknowledgement frown or he could already feel a small sense of strain in his muscles.
“I will have to make this quick.”
As the male’s gaze lifted up to the warrior, his expression was a lot more rigid than his trademark self; his features had truly outlined a certain firmness in the Earthling Saiyan, who dashed forward, charging at Nasu with a haymaker. He went straight for him, not much in the hope of actually hitting him but rather to test his strength compared to the Super Saiyan Blue. It wasn’t even that long until the man found himself with Nasu in front of him but both warriors were still, as the other’s hand reached out and intercepted Cornatto’s attack.
It was already some improvement. But it was not enough.
Before the King of the Saiyans needed nothing more than actual ‘nothing’ to stand to the Saiyan, while now he had needed to block his attack. Even Nasu’s comments pointed out just how much of a difference there was still between the two’s battle powers, but yet, it had struck Nasu as on a level higher than what he had previously been facing him with— Super Saiyan Three was amazing, but still nothing to Super Saiyan Blue.
“What power is this?”
The Turtle Hermit growled beneath his breath as his fist struggled against the King’s guard, it was pretty much pointless for him to even try a flurry. The martial artist had a lot more experience than that to know it’d bring no solution to this other than a quick waste of energy; if he couldn’t hit him now, then he’d have had to step up and go even further than the Super Saiyan Three.
“After training at Kaio-sama’s place, I thought I had reached my pinnacle… but you have done far better than I have,” - said the male as his struggling expression showed off the faint trace of a smirk until he torn apart from the conflict, floating back a fair distance between him and the other Saiyan.
“I will reach Super Saiyan Blue and face you head on, one day, I promise. But for the moment, I will have to give you all I have— surpass even Super Saiyan Three!”
The long-haired male braced himself once more, similarly to the way he did earlier to transform into his current form and fired up his ki, as electricity raged around his figure and soon enough debris started to float and the ground around them to crack as Hell was fiercely shaken by the man’s roaring.
Was he going to transform again?!— Or…!
As the male charged his ki, soon a fiery crimson exploded within his being, burning over with amazing intensity over the male’s golden aura. His figure now displayed two layers of energy that stacked upon each other, both wielding incredible energy that Cornatto built up as he could feel his heart either growing larger or beating almost hard enough for it to break through his torso.
It was painful but at the same time, he could feel it within his back— his ki was growing at an incredible rate to pinnacles that seemed unreachable for the Saiyan before and it wasn’t long until the man’s form finally rose as his vocal chords unleashed a powerful shout; strong enough to compare itself to the breaking energy beneath a thunder.
[Super Saiyan Three Kaioken X10 [x52] | Power Level: 19.532.552]
“HAAAAAAAAHHHHH...—!! KAIOKEN!”
A large explosion shattered reality between the two for a moment, as nothing more other than dust and debris was visible for a few, short moments until it finally faded away and slowly revealed the warrior that once stood there, firmly placed on the ground.
But with a new, powerful ki. Despite having retained the look of a Super Saiyan Three, as the smoke cleared out, his aura was now a mix between golden and crimson, his long hair locks were now not a bright yellow anymore but a vivid red. As the flaming color now tainted the Turtle Hermit’s appearance in all of its aspects. Not only the man had just unlocked the legendary transformation, but he had also managed to surpass it all at once.
And now, it was the moment to let the real show begin and strike Nasu with all he could muster up— for as long as he could keep his new power in check.
The man’s figure quickly disappeared as he had charged at high speed towards his opponent and aimed to sidekick them up in the air, only for him to chase the armored Saiyan and roundhouse punch the warrior away. He would then reappear right behind him and wait for the moment he would turn around just to elbow him in the stomach. In the end, the Earthling Saiyan would attempt to inflict further damage to the opponent with a barrage of fists and kicks only to end with a final kick that would send him up in the air and then dash right around him, to knee him in the back and strike him down to the ground with a Double Axe Handle.

When Cornatto remarked that Nasu had made even better than him he widened his smirk. "Naturally." he stated with a cocky tone as Cornatto put some distance in between them after the punch to his gut. He promised to reach Super Saiyan Blue and pose a real challenge to Nasu, to which the King responded by laughing a bit. "No matter what you do, I will be steps above and beyond you. But I do like the will to try and surpass me. Who knows, maybe you can grow to become a proper rival. I'm severely lacking a real challenge." he further teased Cornatto, but deep inside his smirk became a bit fake as he was reminded of Mira and how the former Demon King overpowered and out-skilled him in every regard. "And he even have that damn technique..." he bitterly thought to himself, only to shake the thought away from his head and focus back on the saiyan in front of him.
The earthling saiyan was claiming to surpass Super Saiyan 3 and, for all he cared, he hoped it didn't mean that stupid super saiyan 4 form that was so annoying, especially due to the fact that it was that damn form that managed to kill Nasu for the first - and hopefully last - time in his existence. But soon enough Cornatto's intentions became clear as the crimson aura exploded around his body, a technique that Nasu knew all too well and now even knew a similar version of that same means of powering up. Still, he couldn't help but to feel impressed he was able to use the same multiplier that the King of All the Saiyans managed to accomplish. Cornatto's power level skyrocketed to a degree that made it almost godly tier and that was commendable on its own. Nasu chuckled at that feat and even clapped his hands a few times. "Impressive! To think you managed to master this power so fast. You are better than I thought. Maybe it was not so stupid to put you in charge of this Tournament thing." he said, pausing for a moment, only to fall into his Soy School stance. "Still you are not even within half of my current power, and so you know... I can do that too!" he revealed and then it began once again.
Cornatto came at him with everything he had got and Nasu dashed towards him all the same, clashing fist on fist, knee on knee to the best of his capabilities, using the fact that he was much faster than Cornatto even with all this power he was using. Ultimately, though, since Nasu was saving his energies, Cornatto managed to land some strikes on him and finished by double axe handling him down to the ground, where he hit hard, creating a very larger crater and creating a heavy smoke screen of hellish dust. When it seemed that Cornatto may have indeed changed the tides of the battle, he heard Nasu's voice unshaken. "Makaioken times Ten!" he roared as he exploded his ki energy in a mix of his dense blue ki aura, and a deep red bigger and fiercest aura that enveloped the first one.

Nasu's power exploded so much that the whole afterlife shook intensely, almost as if it was about to be destroyed completely. "Appreciate this, because it means I'm acknowledging you as a worthy warrior, but this duel is over now." he announced as he launched himself against Cornatto, aiming to knock him out with a brutish punch to the gut.

His power and speed were all powered up without any drawback, at the moment, at least. But it was easy to tell that as much as he had finally managed, actually that his fists did, actually hit him— It wasn't going to establish the result of the fight. The Earthling Saiyan had indeeed just grown stronger but at the cost of also burning his stamina, which would have not helped him down the line if the fight were to go on for any longer than this. Perhaps he had something like five or ten minutes, he couldn't tell. It would have all been up as to how he'd be using his energy. If he were to make the smallest mistake, that would have resulted into an almost certain defeat. No amtter how many techniques he knew, he couldn't simply pull them off without weakening the other first.
Although he had landed more than just one blow, in an amazing display of skill and strength. The Turtle Hermit had quite gone berserk with his attacks, as more and more of them landed until the man finally flew up and then gathered his hands in a Double Axe Handle, he pulled it over his head as tight as he could until he finally let it down and struck Nasu to the ground with it. His combo was successful, but what now? He had indeed managed to break through his defenses but what now?
Now that the dust was the only thing left he could see off the ground, after the man’s incredible rush that had even managed to strike Nasu; he had to say that he was quite satisfied with this power. But it wasn’t quite enough. He knew that even if he had accomplished such, Nasu would have just emerged again in a matter of moments. But yet, in the ecstasy of his newfound strength, the male decided to slowly lift a hand with the palm facing the direction of his gaze.
Cornatto eyed his palm firmly with his orbs not taking off the stare for even the shortest of moments. The Turtle Hermit hummed softly to himself, not much in a ‘hum’ itself but in a questioning manner as a string of voice left from his vocal cords and was simply subjugated but regardless, he could not help but wonder. “Can I go even beyond than this? I swear I can’t almost feel my heart anymore. It must be the Super Saiyan Three and Kaioken’s doing. I can actually feel my energy burn. It’s even worse than with Two,” - the male thought to himself.
A groan escaped from his lips as he braced himself and his fist closed, with his nails that tightly pressed against the skin of his palm. This strength. It was astounding but yet he could not just control it as good as he preferred. He guessed there was still much he had to learn before he could actually master the power of Super Saiyan Three. Truly his current battle power was amazing but at the same time, it could be even greater and it filled the Saiyan with joy. That was what he fought for, too; so that he could test himself and keep surpassing his limits.
He wanted to make sure that he wouldn’t lose. Victory was indeed not likely in this battle, but it had already helped him leaps and bounds as he had found the drive necessary to push himself forth to the next level, now he only needed to actually stay put on that layer and make it his own— it was not going to be easy but he could do it. He was sure of that. The man had already gone too far to stop there.
“I have to finish this quickly before my time is up! I won’t be able to keep up this form for much longer.”
Before long, though, Nasu finally resurfaced but this time and wasted no time as his voice broke through the ears of the other warrior. Makaioken Times Ten. Cornatto’s expression couldn’t help but follow, twisting in a confused gaze; it couldn’t be what the man had just assumed, right? There were other variations of the Kaioken technique?!
Soon enough, the armored Saiyan exploded in a mix of blue and red that was all too familiar— it was the same ki that Cornatto had tapped into and was still currently burning within his body. Kaioken and Makaioken… of course, that must be it!
“So he wasn’t kidding when he said he could do it. If I learned Kaioken up there and Nasu is down here...—Right, I get it! Makaioken must be this place’s version of the technique. Kaio-sama didn’t tell me about it! They seem more or less the same, though, so if that’s the case…”
Yes, Nasu wielded a power just beyond ten times his normal power as a Super Saiyan Blue. He still could not sense his ki, but it was quite easy to tell when gusts of wind easily passed through Cornatto with a force powerful enough to try and push away the male as he clenched his teeth together. He struggled just to stay in place, his power was just that incredible.
The Afterlife itself seemed to be about to shatter on itself for a brief moment, only, by comparison, one could easily tell just how many times stronger the other’s power was if put next to what Cornatto had showcased earlier. And now? What was he going to do? Soon enough, the man’s gaze rested upon the figure of the Saiyan King. The Earthling Saiyan lowered himself down at about the same height as Nasu’s, staring at him with his now double-layered aura while his own crimson, fiery aura burned intensely around his form.
“So this is your full power.”
Cornatto had to expect this from someone like Nasu. He couldn’t help but smirk, no matter how quickly things had escalated. The Earthling Saiyan was truly an amusing individual, to smile even in face of such a mighty opponent; he was getting excited! No matter just how strong or powerful Nasu would get, he was going to beat him at that, he was sure that he could. This was only the beginning and for the moment, what he could give him was only his all.
Nasu then mentioned both as to how he recognized the man as a warrior, but also that their duel was finally over. Corn knew that, he totally had realized it long before, but he wasn’t certainly going to take the blow without fighting back or just surrendering. If he was going to lose, then he’d do it in a way that fit him and his warrior origins.
“Then you will have to take me down because I am not givin’ up! HAAAHHH!!”
The man roared with all of his power and indulged Nasu. He no longer stood where he did moments prior to this, instead, he charged once more towards his opponent with a thick, crimson aura that formed a trail behind the man’s flight path. He drew his fist back as both the men had launched forward to hit each other, and so did Corn with his punch that he suddenly pushed forth as it clashed against Nasu’s punch for a moment.
On the moment of contact, though, as both fists connected, there was something more than a regular impact; it was an unusual feeling, but quite visible as well, ki had leaked out but it was not just normal energy. It was a particular type of spiritual fuel that Cornatto had not experienced before, but yet it felt just like the pressure he had been feeling ever since Nasu transformed.
Was this… the ki of Super Saiyan Blue?
Cornatto’s his eyes could only widen ever so slightly, their outlines pushing his primate brow up ever so slightly. This feeling… It was unlike anything Cornatto had ever truly felt before. It was so short but intense, that it felt like an eternity but yet, the man’s mind could not process the information quick enough for him to even think about what he was experiencing. However, it wasn’t long until both fists did indeed clash, but given just how much more powerful Nasu was and that this whole event had caught him off guard— it slipped.
His fist slid away from Nasu’s, which then had free way to strike the Saiyan in the gut as he was immediately forced into a prone stance; everything had suddenly been cancelled out of his sight as nothing more other than pain was audible, a knot tightened inside his throat as he had released all air within his lungs for a brief moment until the impact made him fly for a short distance upwards and caused him to finally land with his back to the ground. Little debris lifted up as the ground made for a perfect resting place to Cornatto, whose chest continued to rise and lower as he forced his nose to welcome in as much air as he could, breathing heavily as the feeling began to subside but so did his power; first the Kaioken disappeared and then, Cornatto reverted to his base form.
He could barely breathe, but he didn’t seem to be taking it too bad as his eyes were shut down and his arms spread out, waiting for him to recover from that blow.
But later on, to when he could finally at least sit up. The Earthling Saiyan felt fantastic, his outfit had just slightly been ruined because of the spar but he guessed he could just ask King Kai for a new one. He showed off a smile on his features as he lifted a palm upwards directed at Nasu. “Hehe. Thank you for the spar, Nasu. It helped me a big deal, I tell ya’! There’s still some other stuff I need to work on, but you have seen my full power for now. I am planning to get much, much stronger by the tournament, though,” - the male stated, his smile growing into a half-hearted smirk until he finally managed to stand up.
Fatigue and pain were truly quite not a trouble for him in the Afterlife, but because of how used to life he had become during his years in the living world, it was something he could feel quite easily.
“I will be honest with you. It won’t be easy to manage once the team will be gathered. You can probably expect who is going to be picked, can’t you? That says pretty much everything— hopefully, no one will try to kill each other, though. But hey, I am livid that we can win and will get out altogether. I am all excited for the battles ahead of us! I can’t wait to see you on the battlefield, too. But I am looking forward to when I will be Blue myself. Let’s fight again that day, okay?”
To himself. Cornatto promised that he would have gotten much stronger for that day, to have a serious fight, all out against Nasu. He had forever lost his best friend that day, but he had also found possibly a rival and one that he hoped to have the greatest fight of his life with when the time would have come.
The man slowly floated off the ground until he began to rise in the air at a much faster speed.
“See you when we’re alive again!”
One last exclamation while the man waved his hand left and right. Once more, then he disappeared as he made his way to Heaven.

Even though some of Cornatto's attacks connected, it was fair to say Nasu - even though unleashing all of his power - was still holding back, which could be clearly seen by the fact that he wasn't even using any of his more complex techniques, but restraining himself to just throw blows back at Cornatto, while he was using the most of his turtle school knowledge. In the end, he was a force Cornatto was not yet ready to face, no matter how much he had progressed in the past couple months. It was worth noting that his tenacity was something to be respected and Nasu's smirk widened when he said that the only way this fight would end was if the King of the Saiyans were to take him down. "But that's precisely what I'm going to do." he simply stated as if it was an undoubted truth now that his Makaioken was burning bright around his blue fiery aura.
The two fists clashed a moment later but Nasu's fist skillfully slipped past Cornatto's and hit the target, knocking him out of both the Kaioken and the Super Saiyan Three form. The earthling saiyan fell to the ground, out cold and Nasu stared at him for a moment, almost hoping he would open his eyes and continue fighting, but he had indeed reached his limits and once he was certain this battle was over, he took a deep breathe, reverting back to his base form. Thanks to how quickly he defeated Cornatto after using the Makaioken, his body was still alright, but he had to be mindful of this technique; were him to use it for a prolonged amount of time he could be into serious trouble. "And if, by some chance, I'm pushed to use it during the tournament of power, I will have to make the most out of it." he reminded himself as he landed near Cornatto, folding his arms in front of his chest as he waited for his opponent to wake up.
It took the earthling saiyan a couple of minutes and by the time he finally opened his eyes, Nasu was hammering his fingers on his arms, mildly annoyed. "Took you long enough." he complained with annoyance in his tone. But being how he was, Cornatto ignored his grumpiness and thanked him for the spar and told him he was going to improve a lot more before the tournament and Nasu gazed away for a moment, clicking his tongue. "There's not much you can do in this short spam of time, but if you can master the Super Saiyan Three form, you will be able to harvest it's full power." and even though Nasu seemed a bit annoyed, he was still giving him some tips, trying to help Cornatto once again surpass his limits; truth be told, with the universe survival at stake, there was no point in trying to block the progress of others, even if they annoyed him in the past.
When he mentioned the members for the team, Nasu nodded even though he wasn't really staring at Cornatto. "I figure the likes of Komatsu, Ruttsu, Jarvis and Nakiya will be among them probably. As much as I dislike them, they are strong, I can't deny that. I dunno who the others will be, but honestly, it's not like we have many good options other than Tomina and Flare." he shrugged; hopefully he wouldn't really need them, but with the lack of knowledge on who were the warriors of the other universe, they couldn't give themselves the luxury of being comfortable. Still, when he mentioned reaching blue, Nasu stared back at him with the corner of his eyes and humphed. "If you can reach it, I will fight you again." and he put quite the emphasis on the "if" because no matter how strong he was right now, reaching Super Saiyan Blue was a whole other level.
And once that had been said, he left the place. Nasu stared at him as he reached the upper realms once again and sighed. "Well... I guess I shouldn't bother finding a way out of here. They will need me anyway for this thing." he spoke to himself before turning back to his mother, who had been watching the fight. "Well... I have to go. I will try to do some training with Fennle for the time being. But I will see you again soon, mother." and with that being said, Nasu flared his ghostly-white ki aura and left the place, still oblivious to the fact that he was soon to be resurrect by none other than his younger brother, Komatsu.
