--- Several Thousand Years Ago ---
[ Thread PL: 100,00 ]
The soft sounds of a woman's singing could be heard, within the confines of a circular shaped home, nestled in a thick forested region of an unnamed planet. Her voice carrying off beautifully, singing a tune about the heart of an ageless warrior, their fights and friends, their adventures and memories, and the ending of it all. A young child in her seemingly frail arms, cradled against her as she sang the boy to sleep. The child was swaddled in a blanket or two, already having fallen victim to her singing and was sleeping. The woman didn't stand very tall, with pale, snow white colored hair that rested a bit wildly on her head, and flowed down to the small of her back, a tail of the same color wavering behind her gently. Blood red eyes watched the child sleep as she continued to sing, her voice was sweet and soothing. The male on the other side of the room, his back against the wall thought so, too. His back pressed against it as he listened, seemingly hidden from both her and the boy, eyes closed but would burst open as the woman's singing stopped and called out to him, in a voice almost as harmonious as her singing was.
"You can come in if you want, Kizuki. He's already asleep." The male nearly "Erked" out loud as she called out to him. Likely she had felt his presence from the other side of the wall, she was good at that. Better than him, anyway. A bit of a scoff left him, Kizuki pushed off the wall and turned to enter the room where mother and child were, her smiling face was a direct opposite of the one on his own face. It was always stone cold, never really changing, though she knew better than to judge him for it. Had she done that there would have not been this moment right now, or any of the others in the past or future to come. Kizuki was dressed in a simple dogi of sorts, black in color and tied together with a red obi around his waist. He had taken to wearing more "comfortable" clothing while they were here, his own brown tail wavering behind him as he watched her, half expecting her to say something else that was likely her way of poking fun at him. His arms remained crossed against his muscular chest, lip damn near curling up in a snarl. "I was just taking a break from training. Radishu kept complaining, so I came back." A deep voice answered her, seemingly cold and uncaring. His charcoal colored eyes went from her down to the tiny bundle in her arms for a brief moment before moving back up to her quickly, as if he was afraid she'd notice. The albino woman continued to smile, taking a step closer to Kizuki. "Would you like to hold him? I don't think you've even done that once since he was born." The male's eyes went wide again as he took a slight step back, before turning his back to the both of them in a defiant manner, his tail thrashing behind him. It was a telling sign. "Why the hell would I want to do something like that? Every time I do he cries." She couldn't help but laugh softly, arching a white brow at the much larger male. "Is the big Saiyajin man afraid of holding a little baby? Finally, something you're afraid of."
There is was again. Another shot to him, like only she could do. He grunted, feeling his cheeks get a bit hot and red with embarrassment. "Afraid of what? Give me a break, woman. I don't have time for this. Try to stay out of trouble." And he'd begin to walk off, only to have his wife make her way in front of him, literally holding the child out to him and forcing him to hold it. The infant boy still asleep as he was gently forced into his father's massive hands. One hand cradled the the back of his head, the other on his diapered behind, glaring at the woman, seething. A bead of sweat trickled down his forehead. "B-Burumasu! T-T-Take him back!" He didn't scream, but whispered in such a manner that would mimic screaming if he was. He seemed panicked, holding out the hold to her, though she took a quick step back, shaking her finger. "You watch him while I'm gone. I won't be long. He'll be fine as long as you don't scare him, and if you don't scare him he won't cry." She would turn to leave the room, feeling more stress than the beginning stages of a battle. "But he always cries!" Kizuki thought, glaring eyes moved from her down to the sleeping child. He barely could breathe, scrunching up his face as he looked down at the child. He was going to kill her when she got back.
But the truth was he was afraid of something. He was afraid of losing this, though the entire thing made him terribly uncomfortable, as well as losing her. They would need to leave in the next coming years. He had made a promise to liberate his planet, and so he had to. He wanted a place for his family, for his brothers and sisters in arms. Being a nomadic tribe of space warriors was something of the past. This was not their home, nor any other planet. Daikondu was their home, well, most of them. His wife, child, and a few others did not know the place but would fight for him regardless. Within the next hour or so the woman would return to their home, making her way back into the room and stopping in her tracks. She'd blink a few times before laughing into her hands at the sight before her. Kizuki had not moved. An inch. The child was still sleeping and Kizuki stood in the same spot she had left him, holding the babe in the same way he was. Another was in there, one of his closest friends, the Saiyajin he talked about before, named Radishu, who was leaning against the window with a smirk. He was older than the both of them, smirking at Burumasu while shooting a thumb over at Kizuki. "I offered to help, but all he did was snap at me. You've got a real keeper here, you know that?" Kizuki seethed once more, nearly hissing at the other male. "Shut. Up." He'd bark back, through teeth tightly gnashed together. His eye twitched when he turned his attention back to his wife laughing at him. He loved her laugh, he loved her. He loved his son. Though at the moment all he could feel was a deep feeling of embarrassment, blushing even worse than before. The child began to stir then, slowly waking and taking one look up at his father and began to cry. "Gckkkkk!!" Kizuki nearly gargled out, not sure of what to do before Radishu and Burumasu began to laugh again, harder than before.

But that was from a time forgotten. Now, Kizuki was dead and something completely different. The buzzing and screeching in his mind had faded, the directions clear and embedded in his brain. A portal opened before him, the male now garbed from head to toe in a crimson colored robe, a mask of sorts covering his face. "Understood." The almost robotic voice seemingly echoed from behind that mask. Without much else, he took his steps forward and vanished into the open portal, as it closed behind him nearly instantly. Whatever he had left behind was dead, a constant path of desolation always left in his wake. It was time to progress with his mission.
