Blind rage.
Was this what it was? There had been times when she had been pissed off, sure, but growing in power had made that part of her die down. For quite some time, she had also been convinced that she could no longer get as angry as she used to, as if she was losing herself the same the Vampire seemed to be losing her mind. But the fact of things was, is that everyone was different. The brunette and the others growing uncaring, had nothing to do with her own growth.
She wouldn't end up like them, so long as she had kept her priorities straight. But
this was just different. This kind of rage, almost felt similar to well before the Vampire had even become a Countess. Though unlike the first time, she was actually the one experiencing the other end of things.
The Saiyan she was stuck here on the planet with, didn't waste any time into blowing apart pieces of her body away. Enough to not leave any pieces behind, that could reform and trap the girl. She did what she could to dodge the blonde's movements, the girl's hair being much longer and more rigid than before.
Her aura was also more flame-like in appearance, jagged and flickering in a way that reminded her of the brunette back on earth. To be honest, the resemblance scared her, although as calm as her mind was, she couldn't hold onto that fear long enough for it to really matter. It wasn't just the Saiyan's appearance and fighting that had changed. The gap in between her jumping and the girl's incoming strikes, had shortened more than it had been before.
She could tell from feeling the blows coming earlier than it was supposed to, and it was hard not to be impressed.
This is apparently what fighting a Super Saiyan 2 was like. The power, if not for her own fighting against it, would have easily weighed her down the same way the Vampire's own always did.
From the corner of her eye, a distance away from where they were fighting, not that far from the mansion, were three orange balls the size of a person's head. She had heard enough about these things, but never imagined of actually being able to see it up close or in person. Let alone even hold three.
They were incredibly heavy, and from what the Vampire had mentioned, there was supposed to be seven of these things. If not for the mysterious weight of the balls, she would have found it surprising these things could grant wishes. At the power a majority of those living here had, it should have been no problem holding them. But that just didn't seem possible. It seemed like what magic they had, were meant to make these things feel heavier than they should.
It was her best guess anyway. She had stood still in one of her movements around the area, catching the Saiyan's fighting fist, and using her ki to help herself flip over the girl, before swinging at her. If they were really going to start changing the way they fought, then she was going to have to keep up.
Though it was amazing to think just deciding when they were done training, would really be the thing that caused her to act like this. She must have
really read their relationship wrong, thinking it was fine to do that. Shooting a large blast of ki from her hands, which was still weaker than her spheres of ki, it was the presence of a familiar signature, that allowed her to throw a hard punch directly at the Saiyan's face to knock her down.
The energy coming from the girl had suddenly stopped, and she turned to face the new arrival, spotting a similar device to the one she had been entrusted to the Vampire. Unsurprisingly just as well, he had started off as if he was going to question them. With how often they openly fought like this, in what they had designated as their area, it was easy to get lost in the kind of power they let out. Though hearing the rest of his words, and having seen what he had been holding, it was just as unsurprising to hear what he had wanted to know. Gathering these things was such a strong word for what was going on.
"You're babbling about nothing old man."Before she could really answer his question though, the Saiyan had already commented on her own, a cheek visibly bruised, though so was the rest of the girl's body. Clothing and armor was torn here and there, bringing to attention how tall the girl had grown, and no longer looking like a twelve year old.
She was also starting to answer less indirectly, and actually addressing people. When it came to appearances though, she doubted she had really looked any better herself. She knew and could feel one of her arms was regenerating, having been blown off into nonexistence directly by the other girl.
Her body was also just as equally bruised, and if not for her feet turning into mass of flesh to help keep the balance, she would have been struggling to stand more than the Saiyan was already trying to. Though whether injured or not, the remark wasn't really something that was surprising to her either.
"She means gathering is a strong word. We found them while training all over the planet, and this thing beeping."Although her arms were visibly in the process of molding over her own injuries, she had turned slightly to the side, and produced the radar the brunette had given her, before leaving the planet with the others. The girl's words and neutral expression was clear in her mind, even though it had been awhile since.
"You know who, gave this before she left, saying it was useless on earth. Though she also wrote instructions on what to do with them."A notebook was also pulled out from within her body, which she had held up for the man to see, though she already knew most of the contents that were inside. It was like some kind of choose your own adventure esque writing, referencing the kind of pages to go to, if certain situations popped up.
Practically everything the Vampire thought was typical, and one of those situations, involved them actually finding one of these things, and being approached about it. Regardless of who it was, they were supposed to be defensive about them, if only to keep it away from the wrong hands.
"You should have met those Majins by now, that showed up awhile ago, right? Or those two other Saiyans? They're the kind of people we're mainly supposed to keep an eye on, not letting them find these things."She didn't find it odd to talk about her own people that way. She knew her own kind well enough to know they were the type to be too invasive, from lack of understanding basic social cues. Though what those two had been doing, beyond blowing up one of the cliffs within this region, was already odd.
"If the Vampire was here, she would have pointed out the Majins were at least up to something, since my kind aren't really bright enough to find themselves on a planet like this. But that's still just all about other people coming onto the planet that we don't know."The first part she was clearly reading from the book itself, tracing her finger along the sentence before stopping, with the details about her own kind's intelligence, coming more from her. Quickly flipping through the pages, she had stopped on the one she was looking for, regarding the man or one of the others who the Vampire thought was important, wanting the artifacts for themselves instead. Which differed in tone in a way that she was sure the brunette must have been smirking, when she had wrote out these parts. That was also something she found unsurprising, especially reading about a certain blonde.
"There's some stuff here about not letting a blonde swordsman get close to those things? And if she acts like some divine intervention when the ritual is starting, to remind her how she's all talk, since the girl bailed out after challenging her. She also guesses that whatever wish anyone but that swordsman could make, would involve saving people, and if you specifically, are aware she'd go after the earth dragonballs if they weren't inert. Something she says is Capsule Corp property, I guess because of these radars or something."Reading things line by line, a lot of what was written, she doubted had to really be serious. It was just childish, those parts about the blonde. The only thing that really made sense here, was the Vampire wanting to continue to remind the man whatever had happened between these two, to get this kind of mention. Though the last part about the earth ones being Capsule Corp property, there was no doubting that was how the Vampire had really felt.
There was some stuff in here just as well, about the man possibly asking what the brunette would have used a wish for, but only if it was prompted, and just one of several. She and the others already knew about what the girl had wanted, but there was probably still the whole idea around that the girl would toss them away if she had needed to. Which, even with the supposed speech the brunette gave about carrying their will or whatever, was still possible.
"If you want them yourself, I doubt she would care, by the sounds of it. She's really already set on the idea the earth ones would come back, even if it takes a couple of decades. Though knowing her, I guess there's also other questions she would have asked. I guess one of them, would be what after you guys make all your wishes? Are these things just going to go unused? What about this blue-haired guy she was told about, possibly coming back?"What these guys planed to do after the wishes were over with, she could understand. Though more people coming onto this planet, less so. They seemed to have gotten things handled, even if a couple of Majins had been allowed to destroy a cliff out in the open, right within the region their mansion was.
Ir reminded her of just how much the Vampire went on about how they were treated unequally here, because they weren't related to the leader of this alliance. There was truth to it, sure, but so long as they were being ordered to stay on the planet, it wasn't anything she would really bring up.
Some things were just better off ignored. While she had been talking, the Saiyan behind her, had gone back to the three balls sitting at the front of the door, grunting here and there as she went on with the explanation. One she had noticed, from the way the girl's ki was just moving around.
When she had finished, the first ball had been tossed right at the man, without a care in the world. It was a surprising thing to see, and she had guessed right when the girl had decided to toss her one of the other balls, with the Saiyan going on and holding onto the last one they had herself.
"You talk too much."The girl had flew off on her own after commenting on things, quickly disappearing from sight. It should have been obvious just where the girl was going, injured as they both were. Only shrugging at the directness, since it was nothing new from the girl, she had looked towards the other Saiyan.
"These things are pretty heavy, right? It's better if we helped carry them."That's what the girl must have meant.
