There weren't too many people unaware of the nearby planets.
Or at the least, those that she had personally encountered. There might have been a time where she hadn't heard of Saiyans and the other more powerful beings residing and visiting the planet, but once she had, there were a lot of things that had made sense and added up. No handful of Humans could have possibly attacked their own planet for the hell of things. It was mostly all aliens or beings from hell, which she understood was hard to believe.
The former was more commonly seen due to progress throughout history, but the latter was something she knew for a fact was uncommon, due to the likelihood she would have tried following after one, around the time she had first became a Vampire. It would have been bold, knowing their inherent nature, and likely could have costed her life. But that was just what happened, when being both so young, and barely in high school. There was naivety there, even if back then, she considered herself difficult enough to judge a situation properly. There just wasn't the kind of confidence that she had right now.
It had actually been through time passing as a Vampire, the allies she had recruited, and her own research on understanding the abilities of different beings, that helped her achieve confidence rather than doubt. Knowing what she was up against, made it much less likely that things could have gone wrong.
With all of the hybrids she had met, and the reasonable estimate that someone who was full-blooded would have likely held double their power, paved the way into gauging what milestones she would have to set for herself and those who worked under her. Saiyans being numerous when it came to being hybrids, and her having recruited a full-blooded Saiyan to kill for her, made her assured that they should be the ones to match in power, for anyone who wasn't one.
Knowing how their transformations expanded power so violently, rather than be maintained like Vampires, it was hard to believe otherwise. She also held no doubts about the leader of the Remnant Alliance, wasn't likely to continue growing stronger. It was through having power that one could feel secure.
"Enough for all the morally good Saiyans to form an alliance, which is split from the original, who have proven to be more aggressive and willing to kill. If your friend was lucky, he'd have made it off of Bris and to Namek by some chance. The Saiyans I've met aren't likely to turn him away."
The strength of their leader was what she had considered to be valuable enough in the first place, to go and keep an alliance with them. They weren't as brain dead as the leader's half-sister or that hybrid Saiyan she hated so much either. If all of them were like that, then they were just hopeless.
It took a lot of consciousness to decide that there was still a need to attack her, even when others were against it. Not to mention go around claiming that anyone with a higher ounce of power willing to flare it, was someone to take down and kill. That idiotic behavior was one of the reasons why she was so open to having others kill for her, through setting up the situations in having it be done. So much time had passed since then, but she hadn't forgotten.
The only way for those people to learn was through experiencing an ample amount of death, as reason was clearly not enough for them. She had always tried to make it clear when she made a decision that she was willing to agree with, that it was likely to be an investment, if they weren't closely working under her like the others who lived in her mansion. One which she'd cash in, if they didn't meet her expectations, through killing them in the future.
As much as she wanted to believe that she would be able to do so herself, the only beings she could kill without any judgment from the morally good, would have been the Demons. With her secret alliance with them, that was out of the question, unless one was stupid enough to go against their agreement.
Those she had saved that day in East City, were only alive because of her. She could have easily helped the new Queen of Earth kill them, but there was just so much more potential in getting to work with them, than there was with killing them off. Especially when there wasn't likely to be a shortage in those she would desire to kill in the future. So many individuals always believed they were doing something others before them hadn't. And though there were few that she had met, hearing more about them through rumors than anything else, they were those who viewed her allies as those who were forced into being under her.
It said so very much how easily one could assume just about anything, and be so wrong about it, just because they were too close-minded and self-indulged in their own little world, they couldn't accept facts. And the fact was, those who worked so closely together with her, wouldn't be able to still smile if they so obviously detested being around her. The joys of smiling was one of the basic and most essential things that many cultures had inherently shared.
To take that away would be noticeable, and not to mention there was too much effort in raising the strength of those who weren't loyal, in comparison to those who were. Yet, she was well assure due to her power, there was always going to be doubt about what she could do with it. Which wasn't wrong of them.
She could always suddenly decide to go around killing people, and getting strong enough to where it wouldn't matter if she was opposed. Something likely to happen, if she could keep getting her hands on enough blood from the powerful. But that was more likely to happen when she outlived them than anything.
Those who were of her own kind, she didn't hold to the same expectations as outsiders. Becoming a Matriarch had given the capability of enforcing control if she had needed to, and while there were those within the community that were against her rule in general, stirring the idea that she might have made them forget, it was still all nothing to worry for. They were nothing but children in her eyes, being their Queen, and knowing most of their troubles held doubt in whether or not she'd be able to lead them somewhere progressive. They should be used to death, knowing culling was practiced long before she was born.
But they wouldn't have to die, if they followed her growth to power, and tried to match it. The day that there were enough Counts and Countess that could match the strength of Saiyans, was the day which she was very likely to have made training to be a norm. But not every Vampire cared for it, only wanting to live life as much as they could. She wouldn't force them to do so either, unless it became clear they had strength but weren't willing to defend themselves.
"It's responsibility that few would actually want. Or those who do, are likely to be more unqualified than they would believe. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a Saiyan out there, who was not only young, but mistakenly believes they could command an army at the age of 10 or something, yet so obviously fails to consider the idea of things like war being initiated by others."
Essentially a child trying to assert themselves and for some idiotic reason, believing they couldn't be killed by someone stronger. It was a dilemma that she strongly believed if she continued to live throughout the centuries, she would face the potential of a newer generation getting too cocky.
Why anyone would raise them to be so dumb and ignorant, she couldn't really say for sure, only knowing that they would die and not be as missed as they would likely believe. Somewhere around the world, at this given moment, life was being given. The souls waiting in the afterlife made that much obvious.
"I would assume so, since I highly doubt he changed at all. People like him are so stubborn, even when they have no business to be. And you'll find that when things go to plan for our community, you'll be able to live in comfort if you wish."
There were those who were eager to use the natural strength they gained upon becoming a Vampire, however, and would continue to survive against the harsh elements she had in mind for this envisioned planet. Enough to where they wouldn't bother to live in anywhere but the basics of what a house should have.
Hearing more about what this one could remember, she knew for a fact that these Matriarchs were likely to be no longer around. They would have had to be off the planet to even resist the control of her compulsion, knowing she was the strongest Vampire on Earth. The thought of evolution here, made her think back to the idea of there being other Vampires who chose to hide themselves on other planets, but she had already been on the more common planets around here.
Her own power should have brought them out if that was true, and being strong wasn't just on this planet itself. Wherever she chose to go, she was likely going to be stronger than the average population. Still, it was an interesting idea, to believe there were hidden Matriarchs or Antediluvians out there, knowing how one hadn't been seen in decades. The former Queen herself, had been gone from her throne for a good several centuries, and her taking the vacant spot to change that all, shook some things up. Most Vampires weren't likely to even live to see her kind of power, unless they retired from pursuing power.
"Well, whatever the reasons were, it's similar to the humans view of demons. It wouldn't be surprising for certain individuals to consider a race should be killed, without showing any remorse. If there's any chance you're older than you look, then I can at least say for myself that growing up and learning about the demon lore humans came up with, I wouldn't hesitate in killing demons either, if they gave reason to. Most beings seem to prefer the simple act of knocking out however, and its what I continued to stick towards since becoming a Matriarch and beyond that."
The thing about killing humans though, was knowing there were beings who cared enough about them, to be against something like that. She could understand why, knowing the technology which Capsule Corp had mostly made for themselves, having reigned supreme when it came to control and sale of products.
She had watched as the girl had jotted down what seemed to be notes for awhile, before finally stopping and responding once again. They had seemed to actually come into an agreement of sorts here, however she still saw a bit of a defeatist attitude concerning who this one had cared about, which she likely wouldn't. There was truth to what the girl had came up for herself, but like most, still relied on one's own assumptions, which could always be challenged.
"You're not entirely wrong. Maybe it's just because you're not used to being so fortunate, but I'm more than happy to offer aid for you to accomplish what you need to, regardless of whether or not I care about these people you're trying to protect. I generally make business deals and investments with those not of our kind, expecting favors from them in the future that would likely cost them their lives, if they don't live up to their end of things."
Something which was very likely to happen, knowing that when it came to free things, many beings often figured that they weren't likely to run into someone giving it off the bat. But the universe was smaller than it looked, if so many hybrids that were from Earth, found themselves somewhere like Namek.
"Though as Vampires, we're practically family, so I'll be more than happy to treat you like those close to me."
