And along with them, she had gained certain knowledge and exposure she wouldn't have normally considered, prior to leaving the isolation of her planet. Those two personas that she had come up with, not that long ago, meant a little bit more to her now, than what they previously had been.
More than mere disguises, she had imagined they had their own lives to get back to, whenever they didn't find themselves appearing in either of their divisions. And when they did, one would continue to question their reason for being here, while the other would see it as no more than a dream. To go along with what they had been told to do, up until they found themselves returning back to where they had come from. She thought it was a believable background.
Rin had some commentary on how she should be cautious with remembering these details, which was true. These two girls had both had their own dialects and manner of speaking. That had to be kept, and she would have to stick to fighting the same way that they were known for. An idea which she had found to be difficult when it had been first conceived, although was surprised by the other Shinjin she had knew, who had gathered the information she was seeking.
It was a bit of a refresher for her, reading through all of these different styles belonging to different beings, although some had not been documented yet, and possibly could only be viewed through the transfer of memories or the far-seeing arts. It was useful information however, and she was very thankful for it. Out of the many martial art forms that she had recalled learning about however, while flipping through this gathered data, there was only few that had actually fit the kind of image that she had wanted for either of those two forms she had. The Saiyans had a few rather interesting techniques.
One which was better explained here than just watching them strike. She'd need to view so many angles and such using the far-seeing arts, to really get a feel for the kind of passion these beings had put inside of their blows. Something that Kira would have been proud to know, as someone who didn't seem to be like much of a fighter. That Bijou she had met some time ago, might have seen her real techniques, but time had tended to make one forget.
She might wind up being nothing more than a memory for that man, since she didn't suppose she would make another trip back to Hell so soon. But the problem with learning a style for Kira, was that it would have been more beneficial if she had learned from a real Saiyan. They were plenty of them around the universe and not just among the common planets. Namek supposedly might have been the best place to have that experience, although she still felt she wasn't yet strong enough to cross to that galaxy. Which had meant only Hikari would get any real training, seeing that there was a Konatsian school here.
Or at least would, had she still been able to find a proper sword the form would have been proud of. Something regular wouldn't have been fitting, and because of that, she had only created a simple ocarina for herself, which she was only beginning to learn how to play. No amount of studying written behavior could prepare her for such a thing. Although she knew the instrument was beautiful enough that even some basic notes would sound wonderful.
Training in a style was what she had wanted, and with neither of those two options truly available, that had only left going on to perfect her own martial form. The style was something she had heard fairly well among the other Shinjins, as something that had been banned learning once, because of its power.
That history carried with it such a burden that she wanted to become better. With the other Kais so busy, and how expected it was to guide herself, without some kind of attendant, she had to only learn through her own means. Unlike either of the other schools however, it was simpler to learn through description, and what memories she had managed to have be transferred to her, in order to view what it should have looked like. Knowledge of this sort was so precious, and for a new God of Creation like her to truly master this form, she was going to have to get stronger in order to handle the fatigue.
Sitting out by the lakefront where she had previously met an important soul, although on one of the benches rather than by the body of water, she had focused more on playing a little melody at the moment, on the ocarina she had materialized. In time, she would use her own power to create an instrument just as valuable as the sword that she had envisioned for herself. Every simple note that she played, as her fingers covered the holes, she thought back to her notes on the school that was meant for just Kais, her eyes closed as the image had steadily flashed in her mind for her to look at.
One of the first techniques had involved creating a shockwave. Something that she was already familiar with, although not in the kind of way that she had normally struck with. Rather than creating one upon striking, this technique had involved expelling ki to create one entirely. An interesting method.
She just needed someone who could help her learn. The fight down there in West City made itself already quite clear how many souls would end up here in this division, or one of the other ones. The demons were winning what they had apparently come to do, and those who could stop them were preoccupied.
A burden that she would make up for with time.

(Maki has shapeshifted to pretend being a Konatsian, and will learn the BG of Blades of Judgment within this thread.)
Soi Feng the young boy from Penguin Village found himself alone, confused, and overall afraid. None of the things that took place made sense to him. The strange beings that acted as attendants referred to the clouds as souls, but why was he surrounded by them. What was this place that he found himself, he managed to slip out of the line while an attendant was distracted. He scurried into to the corner of the reception area, hoping to remain undisturbed. He fell to his backside drawing his knees into his chest, securing them with his arms as he tucked his head.
The child rocked back and forth his feeble mind unable to handle what had been exposed to him. Unable to understand that he was no longer among the living, that everything he knew before meant nothing to him now. He was now at the mercy of other souls from the outermost reaches of the cosmos. What could him a feeble human do in such an otherworldly place such as this. The boy peered over his arms his eyes focused directly on a large red demon. It wasn’t hard to discern whether she was in charge here.
Yet he couldn’t muster the strength to ease out of his corner. (I don’t like this place. I want to go home. I don’t like this place at all.) Soi thought to himself as his tears ran out of his eyes. He tucked his head back into his chest. He yielded to his own cowardice heart not ready to face what had become his new life. How could anyone accept this as their new life, what did all of this even mean.
Why was he taken from his village to this place full of clouds horned people. The lad watched the passing of souls for what felt like hours, finding what appeared to be a never ending loop. A cloud approaches the big desk and then disappears, five minutes pass, then another cloud approaches. It was like watching a music video set on an infinite loop. (Where do those clouds go? I was one of those clouds? What’s going to happen to me?) He shivered drawing in his knees as close as he could.
The boy was far too afraid to continue pondering these thoughts. As the downpour of tears came to a halt, he could feel a strange sensation throughout his body. He felt connected to every being in this room that walked, even the larger presence behind the desk. (What does this mean.) He rose to his feet dusting himself off and wiping his tears, but his eyes were red and still heavy. Anyone would be able to tell he’d been shedding tears for what they would assume was days.
The front of his jacket was stained with a noticeably large wet spot from his tears. The boy found himself wandering out into the open, as his body started tingling the more he moved. (This actually feels good.) Soi spun around observing a rogue cloud jutting across as the attendants chased after it. He should have kept his eyes face front before he rudely bumped into a passerby. The boy sat on the ground rubbing out the pain in his backside, “Gomenosai. I should have been paying more attention. I-I’m uh…”
Soi glanced at the figure in shock and awe, his mouth gaped at the sight. It looked like a girl well at least he believed it was a girl. (Her ears are really pointy.) The boy gathered himself from the ground, bowing as a symbol of apology his head hanging low. Perhaps he may have found someone who could possibly help him, or someone to put him out of his misery. Only time could tell.

The more she had thought about it, and pictured herself performing such a thing, the more she had felt reassured it was quite possible she could perform it if she had tried. Though the reasons for doing so, was quite simply lacking at the moment, with no desire to seek out an excuse to do so.
She was consent sitting here and playing a melody with this ocarina, the movements that went along with playing such an instrument, filling her with a sense of joy. Imagine if she had performed enough to get more than a basic grasp of this. It could fill her private planet with a certain solace and comfort that wasn't too hard on her own body, knowing that sort of isolation was meant for her to relax with. The troubles that she had been exposed to rather recently, and the ones that would no doubt arrive in the future, were ones that she had a choice not to bear the burden of someone meant to oversee only one galaxy.
There would be hardships in doing so, and she knew certain mortals would likely hold their own opinions about it, but she trusted what the others Kais had or hadn't done with various instances, were made in good favor. Judgment and perception were simply different for those who had knew of the afterlife far longer than that of society. It was possible to be sympathetic to future plights, but humanity could not always go on to rely on the gods for their issues.
If something was truly to be a time of need, she knew the Grand Kai or Lord Lagerus, would have interfered to stop such a thing. Mortals only knowing of what was around them, she could likely say now from her most recent observations, had clouded their judgment. Their lives and the situation going on with them mattered more. As a God of Creation, the best thing to do for those with that kind of passion, would have been to guide them back to the living.
It was a thought that made her think back to the other Kais this realm had lost, specifically the former Northern Kai, who gave up this life to become a Brenchian. She supposed that if she had ever gone to do the same, she might have reincarnated herself into being a Konatsian. This instrument they were so known for possessing, and the melodies she wanted to preserve until she had gotten better, were just so joyful to get lost in. Had such a sense of peace.
The technique that she had wished to learn, had easily followed along in her head, with the notes that she had played. Her tune going on to increase its rhythm as she pictured the kind of air currents that were meant to have been expelled with this technique. It truly felt like learning this style was meant for her. Though knowing that it was a school for her kind in the first place, had helped painted the idea of that image of this being a necessary practice.
The next step according to her memories, was a blade of ki. The purple color to it made the technique relatable to her, as that had been the color of her own ki, and version of these shockwaves. It was maintaining the energy long enough to strike an opponent, did she see a difficulty with performing it.
The method for gathering energy for that kind of focus, she felt as if she could perform, but for how long would be the question. At this level of power, success was yet to be determined. The thought was left aside for the moment as she had took rest with her ocarina playing, in what was meant to be a short break. What difference there was between her playing, and the lack of it, was rather clear within the atmosphere here. It was certainly a way of life.
The voice that had suddenly spoke out to her, caused her to look around, where she saw a young mortal who had managed to retain his body. She couldn't feel any particular value with his soul, though it was quite clear that he must have been lost or in denial, seeing his appearance. He might have even convinced himself he hadn't been here for too long, knowing that it usually took some time to form a body within this realm, unless one was truly heroic.
Benefits such as that weren't given to just everyone, as troubling as it might be for mortals. She could see possible reason for being upset with such knowledge, but being a God of Creation, there was no true attachment to what humanity had believed in. Merely recognition of their deeds or misdeeds.
"You're probably a bit too shaken up, aren't ya? Weeell I'm probably not the best person to come to for this kind of thing."
Putting away her ocarina within the inner pockets of her outfit, she had sat cross-legged with her hands in her lap as she spoke to the soul. Hikari was a rather chatty person, from what she had gotten out of an experience some time ago. And having viewed this realm as nothing more than a dream, there was no true worries for any of the souls that were around here. This Konatsian, had she been real, would have merely tried to keep a conversation going, and doing what she had wished to do. There was nothing particularly evil with doing that, and what could have possibly made her be considered as an attendant to a Kai, would have likely been the fact that there was pure good within this soul. One that was guided into the proper direction if given the opportunity.
"Still, I guess I could lend an ear if you need. Think of me as like your teacher in this realm or something. You've noticed I had no halo, right? Some people I've met have missed that for some reason."
Her head tilted to the side as she had made the offer, a smile on her face as she pointed at the top of her head. Though much like what she did with the last soul who had met Hikari, she had straightened herself up again as she had thought of something else to bring up to this lost and crying soul.
"Can you remember how you got here? Or are you one of those types that don't want to talk about it? Either way, it's kind of a hard thing to ignore, you know?"
The only time she couldn't really get a straight answer, had been with the Bijou she had met in Hell as Kira.
“N-no please I r-really could use your help.” He stammered thinking that the woman would turn her back on him. “I don’t understand any of this miss! What is with all of these clouds, or the weird people with horns? Why do I have a halo? Why did I become one of those clouds? Please miss help me!” He spurted. He took a glance above her head noticing that she was missing a halo, but why did he have one in the first place he wondered.
His memories were clouded making it hard to remember much of what transpired before he arrived. The boy followed her finger that directed his eyes above. “Yes I see that you don’t have a halo. Why is that?” He tried dissecting an answer from the woman, but he had even more questions that he wanted answered. For instance what did she mean about ‘this realm’, how did he end up in this place? She gave off a very nurturing vibe, and that made Soi feel a little more comfortable.
She asked him if he could remember anything before he got here. That was another sad case with this poor lost boy, his memories were fragmented he could remember very little. He knew the basics such as his age, name, gender. Yet to no fault of his own his memories of his friends, and his small hometown of penguin village were absent. “No. Sorry I can’t say I can remember anything. What is a hard thing to ignore, and why wouldn’t someone want to talk about arriving in a weird place like this?”
Soi clenched his fist becoming teary eyed as he struggled to remember something. Anything he could recollect might trigger other memories for him. Yet it seemed that everything that came to mind just didn’t seem logical. He wiped the wet streaks on his face with his jacket, and looked up at his self-appointed teacher. “I have nowhere to go. I don’t know where to go. I really need help miss, and I promise I won’t be a bother.” He tried to make a plea with the woman.
“One more thing. All of a sudden I can feel stuff, and I mean feel stuff like I can feel other people. Such as you, whatever is behind that desk, and all the horned people. Why is that?” He asked curiously. That aside, in the event that she denied assisting him through this realm would leave him out of options. He’d more than likely remain here in this reception area all alone back in his corner. Trying to keep away from the horned people, and better understand why he could feel everything all of a sudden. As if his sense of touch increased by one hundred fold.

As much as most souls would have liked to believe it was such, they weren't all equal in priority. She could sense the value of a soul, and along with it, the possible feeling of how wrong things could go, if someone wasn't saved, or an individual wasn't stopped. Neither of those two situations she could feel coming from this young one, but there might have been a chance in the future, he would walk either of those two paths. If she could help avoid the lesser path in anyway, she would take the chance, through these 'mortal' forms of hers. They might have had their own beliefs, but they had still meant well.
This soul seemed to carry the kind of behavior other mortals would have judged to be nervous, and one who lacked confidence. But he was young, and with him seeming to be one of the lost, unable to yet accept the fate he had winded up with, she could understand all of the doubt that she was hearing here.
Words that were meant to be said clearly, he was lacking in, and with him being dead, just how likely and how long would it take to change something like this? His time here was likely going to be short, if he was willing, though to not overcome these issues, was only going to have him fall dead again.
It was the truth, as he had likely died in a situation that was out of his hands. The universe had so many individuals of stronger power at this point and time, that it was easy for lives to be lost, if the number of those who were good, weren't around to defend. Some mortals even turned away from the paths they had been on before, turning a blind eye to giving help they normally would have offered. It was wrong in the eyes of some and right in others.
But no matter how these mortals had felt, they truly weren't meant to save the universe anyway. That role belonged to her kind, and it was only the comfort that past Kais held for allowing the mortals to play a part in this role, that things were continuing as is. She was not one to break away from what a predecessor of hers had set up, unless it truly called for a need to. So many Kais had fallen or given up their lives as gods, and were also as young as she currently was. For her to still be around, she wanted to believe that it was some sign that this misfortune would end with her existence.
With the mortal level being a concerned for Lord Lagerus, the universe was going to need a Kai to interfere now and again. But before she'd be able to, things would start here with her training in the styles she had in mind first. Only then could she truly say she had done more than her predecessors.
"Hey, you're gonna have to calm down a little. None of what you're asking is really easy to swallow, ya know?"
Her hands were placed onto her lap as the soul had came at her with questions not unusual to ask. Someone like him, who had once been in the mortal realm, couldn't have possibly not have known what death was. There was a chance he might have been what mortals had inflicted upon those they knew, as 'being sheltered', a form of isolation where knowledge of the world was lost on them, which would be unfortunate to really observe firsthand like this.
"You're dead, and those guys are apparently onis. You know, like demons and stuff? I get this is a pretty big shock and all, but you've gotta have at least heard some stories about both of these things."
He wasn't really a cloud anymore, and had seemed to have at least recognized that part about this realm. Although it was curious to see how much of this information he would actually begin to accept. Life here wasn't as bad as some mortals had made it out to be. It might not have been attuned to their desires, as she had heard some of them had dreamed of, but there weren't meant to be troubles here. Something the mortal realm had lacked.
"Because I'm not dead yet. I guess it's some kind of near death experience? They haven't really explained anything to me, the last few times I've been here. But I don't really mind, since this feels like a dream anyway."
It was the story and explanation that she had came up with for this form and their backstory. Beliefs that she was aware certain mortals had, but weren't true. Visiting the afterlife in a near death state was false, no matter how much they had believed they were capable of doing so. The most they would have gotten to see were the line of clouds, rather than their family and friends, who mortals supposedly hallucinated being able to see in such a situation.
"You say that, but you sound pretty lost to me about what's going on."
She had leaned back, hearing he didn't seem to understand what she was trying to imply about not wanting to talk about death. A bit peculiar knowing his desperation, and one which she wouldn't hesitate to challenge. If death wasn't terrifying to him, just what was he feeling so much concern for?
"Most of the clouds around here don't really seem to like talking about their deaths is all, or really accept that they died. Whoever you really are, it doesn't sound like you were much of a fighter, if you don't know about sensing. I was kinda hoping I'd run into someone I could practice on."
A sigh had escaped her next. His power really wasn't much at all, even if she had held back, trying to master the beginnings of this style she had in mind, wouldn't have helped at all without the proper partner. The last technique, from what she could pull from her memories, involved dodging an attack, and then knocking the opponent away with a blast. Someone like this soul, she could understand why some mortals looked down on each other due to a lack of confidence. He was likely to be overcome by his emotions and burst into tears, was what it had seemed to feel like for her, just listening to him.
She held some sympathy for it, but watching over one individual soul, when there was so much more, wasn't in her interest. There was still time she could spend, before she would decide to return to her own planet, and after she had, he was going to find his own way around this place without her.
"If you want, you could watch me practice my moves over in a more open area. Maybe it'll jog your memory or something."
Her hand was extended out for him to grab, as her legs had returned to the ground, from its cross-legged position.
