Komatsu couldn't help but stare up at King Yemma in disbelief. Had he just heard correctly? He WASN'T going to go to hell? What kind of people did he let into the upper worlds exactly!? He'd done some really awful stuff, and personally he didn't think he deserved to go to the upper worlds... He wasn't going to complain though, by not going to hell he had avoided the one thing he had feared the most... loneliness. No doubt he would be stuck down there forever and alone, without his family... maybe now he could at least find someone he knew! Well... it would be hard since everyone seemed to be nothing but a soul cloud.
He was just about to thank King Yemma for his decision when two of the Oni closed in on him. His instincts quickly kicked in and the little cloud booked it! He ran straight out one of the side doors, the two Oni in tow!
It didn't take them very long to catch him though, he was no where near as fast as he was when he had his body... The larger, male Oni scooped up the little cloud by the end of the... tail? and carried him down a winding path that would lead them down to the cleansing machine.
"What the hell is THAT!" Komatsu exclaimed as they walked into the room where a few dozen souls were being corralled towards what looked like a giant newspaper printing machine! The souls would get onto a conveyor belt which somehow stopped them from being able to escape. That conveyor belt then disappeared into a tin box which would light up with a bright light as a soul passed through it, a black shadow falling out from underneath the box as the soul popped out the other side. It didn't stop there though, the conveyor belt would continue to go through several rigorous cleansing methods. Some of these methods could be compared to a car wash! At the end of the belt, there were two large rolling pins that slowly spun so close together that there was no way the soul cloud could fit through! And yet, there it went, squeezed flat by the two rolling pins like dough! Once more, shadows began to fall from the soul cloud, being collected by the drums that lined the bottom of the machine.
Komatsu stared at the machine in disbelief. This so wasn't fair... it was cruel! He wouldn't do it! He began to struggle pointlessly against the Oni's grip, attempting to wiggle this way and that, resembling a fish caught on a hook as he tried to get away!
Moments prior Jarvis had already been on his way to this strange machine. Tempted to put up a resistance but these Oni's were oddly stronger then they looked. His own fault for getting so close to one as well. The who he'd had fun blowing up her skirt to get a look at her undies had gotten her vengeance in a sense. Gripping him around what would qualify as his chest or belly perhaps. "Whoa Whoa Whoa! Can't we talk about this! Aren't you being a little rough! You can hold off on this give the good guy speech!" His higher pitched helium sounding spirit voice echoing out. Knowing he didn't exactly like the way this machine worked. It was hardly what you'd call a good feeling seeing souls or puffs or whatever they were going through and knowing you must be next. But shortly after he heard another high pitched sound. Which only got him to wiggle more violently in the woman's grasp. To no avail of course.
"Is that the little shit I think it is! Where is he! Let me go I'll kick his ass! Or at least whatever the puff ball equivalent to ass kickery is!" A little upset and a little jesting in the moment. As his frantic feelings kept his anger from rising to high. Although he wasn't quite sure he did believe it may have been who he believed it to be.
"Try and relax if you can. It won't take long before we wash and squeeze all the sins from you. Then it'll be like a whole new awakening." She'd say in her business like attire of a dress. Holding a book under her arm with her notes and laws held secure. Always good for reference when needed. Jarvis still wiggling in her arms. "I'd rather stay here! If I had my body we could try some other squeezing and I could show you how to add sins rather then remove them. But I think your ideas look a bit more extreme then mine ever were!" Jarvis just as in life resorting and naturally throwing in a bit of a jest or flirtation at times. A defense mechanism for him in a sense and just how he was as it seemed to always be present in most situations.
"Right... Might have to put you on the watch list just to be sure." Given that some souls didn't react to the cleanser like others. It could take away their sins but it didn't always actually change the person. She still shook her head recalling the Golden Kold Demons mishap when they let him through it for a short time. Rashik was gonna be doing hell duty for six thousand years for that one. But she wasn't gonna make mistakes like that. She'd make sure to apply for the paperwork and make sure this one didn't get too out of hand. Rolling her eyes lightly at his flirts but finding it amusing. It was the first time that was part of their pleading process when this happened. "I'm sure we'll see each other on the other side. Just try and relax so it'll go more smoothly. Its better that way for you. Less... uncomfortable." She'd say setting him down on the conveyor belt. An as soon as she did. He found himself unable to lift from it. "Oh well this is just bullshit! Are you sure this isn't hell! You're too red to be a angel! Common we can work out a deal baby! Get me out of here and I'll show you the best time and break us out of here! Common what do you say? Ahhhh! This sucks, This sucks, This sucks!" He'd say still wiggling as the machine came closer with its blinding lights and painful looking cleaning and cleansing process.
The female not far behind already filling out one of her forms and handing it off quickly and in perfect hand writing to one of the other Oni's standing around. They seemed to have a very well done filing and paperwork system that was taken care of almost immediately when something was to be done. She'd open her book briefly as well curious as to just what likely strange dark soul she'd be keeping a eye on looked like and his sins. Her book working off a bit of Oni skill or magic some might have called it. Given how unadvanced living world races mostly were. Reading down the list of sins as a picture slowly morphed on the page. Some of his sins more like a adventure book of smuggling and bounty hunting. An then she started seeing the sins of the flesh and desires for the stimulants and drugs he'd used over the years and things he'd done with while no a unimaginable number still large number of people. Finally seeing the picture as her face reached a level of red much brighter then would even think one of red skin could reach. "SCANDALOUS!" Being a top side worker she didn't really deal with stuff like this often. So if anything it did stir her adventuring imagination. As she tried to control her blush. Finding herself though for a brief moment starting at the picture shortly after. A finger twirling some of her blue hair around it as she looked at his own blue features.
Of course Jarvis was too distracted by the big burning fucking light to notice this right just yet! Still pleading his case and trying to deal with the oni's that passed by. Or yelling at the sniveling souls behind him to shut up so he could be louder and be heard. Waiting as no soul had yet to be placed in front of him yet either.

If any of the souls could tear their nonexistent eyes away from the menacing piece of machinery in front of them, they would have seen the air near the line of souls waiting to go in ripple before expanding into a dark blue portal. It wasn't long before an armored Oni leapt out with a stable landing, her heavy metal boots clanking against the ground loudly. Yup, Sakana's shift in Hell was over. She had received a few new cool scars, though she didn't know where she even got half of them. Now it was time for her to head on over to Job B. The blue fish creature also worked as an integrator, she helped new souls adjust to Otherworld. She got to choose who she picked up for the most part. And of course when she warped to the Soul Cleansing Machine, Sakana was greeted with some yells from some resistant souls- but two high-pitched voices from the souls stood out to her. It came as no surprise that someone would not want to go in the massive machine. Between the rollers, flashing lights, or any of the other contraptions inside the massive printer-like machine, well, even the levelheaded Sakana would freak if she was to be sent in there.
She could see a few of the souls glance at her, probably because of her armor. It set the fighter apart from the rest of the formally dressed Oni in the room, their different statuses clear as day. But despite the armor and faded scars that covered her scales, the warrior also helped integrate new souls into Otherworld. So helping these two fussy ones was right up her alley, with the Oni's laid back and comical attitude helping her calm down some of the souls she worked with in the past. Since they were entering the Soul Cleanser, it seemed like these guys were going to the upper world. Good! Giving someone a tour around Hell was no fun. It was actually kinda depressing. But showing someone the wonders of paradise in Heaven was fun! Welp, it was time to do her job.
Jogging over, Sakana peered over the sea of souls and Onis to take a look and try to spot the strugglers. She managed to spot a small poof ball in the grasp of a larger male Oni with another one nearby. The other one was held against a small female's chest. She observed from afar for a short while, snickering when the red Oni holding that one soul yelled a little, becoming even redder somehow. Oh, she was going to have some fun today! A smile flashed across her face for a moment before the fish creature squeezed her way through the ocean of Onis and souls by the machine. Geez, hopefully she could catch these two and do her professional work before they were chucked in the oversized printer.
The Oni gritted her teeth when she saw the blue-hued one placed in the machine. Shit. If these two were going in, the integrator would make sure that it would be willingly. She picked up her pace before finally deciding to create another portal. Sakana didn't even yell as the pulse of ki flew from her hand, creating the vortex. After leaping through, Sakana would land several feet away from the little scene in front of the Cleanser. After that, it wasn't long before the Onis about to bring the two souls into the Cleanser would soon find a shadow cast over them from behind, followed by Sakana clearing her throat to gain their attention. Her helmet was still on, and the only thing that could be seen beneath the armor was her one yellow eye as she folded her arms and straightened her posture. Despite this menacing appearance, the Oni spoke in a casual, almost playful tune.
" Heyo. What's up? " Sakana spoke casually as she finally removed her shark-like helmet, revealing her scaled and scarred blue face. Holding her helm at her side, the Oni leaned forward a little as she spoke with a confident smirk." I see we have a pair of scaredy-souls, no? Look, I can take these two off your hands. I'm a pro at stuff like this, and I'm sure you folks would like to get back to whatever you have to do. Truuust me, I'm used to putting up with troublemakers down in Hell- I mean, I've put up with some serious shit down there. " She gave a quick wink to the smaller of the two souls as she smiled. Hopefully these two would just play along and let her take the wheel instead of these nerds. She stood back up straight and put her hands on her hips as she looked at the other Onis, confident as always. Sure, they WOULD have to go through the machine at some point, but if she could spare these two from it's menacing roller pins and flashing lights for a little while longer... "Lemme go, lemme go, lemme go, lemme goooooo!" Komatsu complained and whined loudly as he continued to struggle furiously against the large Oni's iron grip! Okay so maybe the creature wasn't holding him all that tightly... ok so he was holding him with his index and thumb, but it felt like an iron grip! No matter how he struggled there was just no getting away from this thing!
"AAAAAARG" He exclaimed in aggravation as he headbutted the Oni in the chest, causing the man to laugh heartily as he walked towards the cleansing machine.
"You just won first place little saiyan spirit! I haven't been head butted in a long time. Nice try though!" The Oni stated as he dangled Komatsu in front of Jarvis' soul, threatening to drop him on the machine. Koma just kept complaining and wriggling in an attempt to get free, glaring at Jarvis' soul as he did so. He had heard the high pitched comment about kicking his ass, and could only assume this was blue haired bastard he had killed back on Earth! He couldn't remember it very clearly and didn't really know if it was him or Nasu but he'd happily claim this kill! As the Oni let go of Koma, dropping him onto the conveyor belt, Koma had wriggled just enough to swing himself at Jarvis, his soul cloud smacking into the immovable Jarvis and landing on the conveyor belt next to him head down.
"Is that you, you blue bastard! See this is what you get for runnign away from me!" He attempted to wriggle away from Jarvis, but found himself stuck in the rather odd position glued to Jarvis' soul cloud! If he had fists, he'd be wailing on the spirit right now but he couldn't do anything besides wiggle! He didn't stop his wiggly assault until a fish looking Oni stepped out of no where and offered to take Jarvis and himself off their hands. Potentially saving them from the cleansing machine! If this Oni could of seen the expression on his face! or at least the expression he was trying to make she would see so much hope in the little cloud's eyes!
"Hey! I"m no scardey-cat fish lady! I just don't enjoy getting wrung out like a washcloth!" He called out to her in an attempt to further grab her attention and escape this machine! Any second now him and Jarvis were going to pass through the first metal box...
The female Oni finished some of her checking in her book still looking over one of the pictures snapping the book shut as she was exploring some of his past... sins. Shutting when another one of the Oni guards and judging from her appearance and attitude one of the hell attendants. It meant for the time she was no longer needed here. She could return to check up this interest another time. After all she already had the clearance now to keep a update of reports. Trying not to blush as the clearly formal and repressed of most outburst type Oni found allot of what she saw very new to her. Clutching her book as she'd take her leave. "They're all yours. I'll check up on my watch later on once they've gotten more settled... Curious to see how much effect the machine has on these ones." Turning to take her leave. Her own reasons secretly burrowed in her subconscious for why she was curious if it washed away... all of their creative side. Placing her hands on both her cheeks trying to chase these thoughts out of her head as they weren't proper for a lady at all! "SCANDALOUS!" She'd utter to herself walking away.
"Whats up? Whats up!? The fuck do you think is up!?!" He'd say the little puff with the helium induced voice wriggling in place again. Momentarily picking up the fight again before giving it up once more. It wasn't gonna be long now till it was his turn for this machine. And the screeching shadows that seemed to pour from people in the 'cleansing' didn't seem comfortable in the least. "Oh god if this is a dream wake me up already! This is awful! Get me off this thing scaly! This is already strange enough without being put through some torture machine!" Wriggling violently for a few more moments before calming and tiring himself out. He really wasn't like the lack of his prior power in this form. "The hell you taking over? What you gonna man the machine yourself scaly?" Clearly trying to look or sound intimidating in his wriggling. But with his helium like voice and small soul that only was distinct in how it glowed a much more aqua shade of blue. Were more adorable then fearsome. He let out a sigh when he'd finally calm. An even if she couldn't tell he'd at least enjoy the moment by taking in the view or at least what he could her strange armor at the view of those hips she placed her hands on. "God even the less uptight ones are good to look out... and me without a body." Another parting sigh leaving his lips that didn't quite exist.
"It is you! You little runt! I see it didn't take them long to kill you too! An you were the big power house Oozaru too! Haha! You can't win a fight even in that form I see!" He'd say back at the moment most of his cool thrown to the wind. This was for many reasons a very emotional and aggravating moment. So to give into the boys angry words and take up argument wasn't as much snappy and jesting as it may have normally been from his voice and tone.
Jarvis pushed against him as well in the wiggles in the strange assault. At this point they both likely knew this was pointless but as emotions and anger flared. They likely didn't care or just lost sight of that. Of course Jarvis's wiggling rather then pushing was more to try and push past Komatsu and make sure he was first in the thing. But to no avail. The conveyor belts unnatural pull to them kept them in place as if they'd been nailed to it directly. "This just gets worse... First I die... now they are gonna shove me in this thing, Then you get here... And you keep teasing me with these creatures after taking away my body! THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE!" Actually managing to in this rant dive upward breaking free of the conveyor belt for about two feet in the sky. Before being whammed back down as connection was reestablished and with a smash and think the cloud hit hard against the ground.

Sakana let out a sigh of relief. She had the wheel of the situation now, with the two souls now under her custody. She was going to make a grab for the small one, but it soon managed to knock itself into the other one, getting the two in a rather sticky situation. It looked like someone had gone and glued them together! The smaller of the two seemed pretty ecstatic when he saw the fish creature, while the other... Was unique, to say the very least. He seemed to try to intimidate her, but both his high pitched voice and the fact that he was a just a puff ball just earned a stifled laugh from Sakana. The blue one complained a little more, just wanting off of the machine, whining about the strangeness of the situation. Well, he was right. It was probably a lot to take in. You die. Go to heaven, only to find this thing in the way. It wasn't fair. She could hear some wails from the souls already inside, causing her to frown as she looked into the machine at the two slowly advancing souls. The blue one bantered a little more to the small one. She didn't catch all of it, but the word "Oozaru" rung in her head. So the small one was a Saiyan? Noted. It was difficult to tell age or race when someone was a puff cloud.
But would Sakana leave them hanging and allow the machine to do it's job? HELL no! If they were going in, it would be willingly! She knew that the two would have to go through the cleanser- unless they wanted to go to Hell instead, but maybe a little encouragement or a little bribery was all they needed. The whole situation wasn't fair. The two should have at least had some time to cool down- dying then being thrown into this mess was overwhelming. She bared her yellow fangs as a glow emitted from her left hand. Swinging her palm forward, a thin string of Ki would whip forward into the machine to grab the two.
If successful, the whip would snatch up and tighten around the "tails" of the two souls. The Tesla Whip usually stunned opponents, but since Sakana had cut it down to a much smaller size, it would just give the two a little shock- as if someone gave them a shock with static electricity. The cord tightened and stopped the two from advancing just inches away from the first station. After that, Sakana tugged hard on the string of Ki, the force of her pull tearing the two off of the conveyor belt and into the air. Sakana then began to retract the whip, shortening it until the two puff clouds were held in front of her." Pffft... You really think I'm like those uptight business dorks? Think again. " She'd speak while the two puff clouds were still glued together and wrapped up in her whip before he lowered the two and dispelled the lash, letting the two drop to the ground. Bending down to look at the two stuck souls, she flattened her ears against the side of her face, looking at their predicament with a raised brow " Seems like you two are in a sticky situation. " Sakana spoke casually, watching the two.
If they hadn't broken free from each other already, the Oni would open a hand as one of her ki spears materialized in it. " Do I have to cut in now to take a stab at this? " Sakana spoke, spinning her spear around impatiently. " But you know this would hurt a hell of a lot less than that. " She pointed back to the cleanser. Sakana just hoped these two would be at least a little grateful that they were spared from the machine for a little while longer. WORD COUNT: 646

"Shut up! Just shut the hell up you bastard!" Komatsu's voice sounded legitimately hurt at Jarvis' comment on how he had lost... again. He had literally never won a single fight, people were always too happy to put the little upstart in 'his place'. He wanted so desperately to win a fair fight... to prove to himself that he was actually strong and not just the weak little kid everyone thought he was. Well... it looked like he'd never get that chance now... Jarvis had been his last try, and the blue haired hybrid didn't even look at him like a worthy adversary.
Komatsu didn't even get to do or say anything to Jarvis because the fish lady's energy whip suddenly lashed out at them, wrapping itself around both of their tails and flopping them down on the floor in front of her. He listen to Jarvis continue to complain and would have grit his teeth and scowled if he could.
"What the hell do you expect, you're dead you idiot, you're a ball of white cloud. Nobody cares about you or what you think is acceptable. Get over it" The little cloud scolded before glancing back towards the fish lady. He was about to comment on her bad joke when she suddenly summoned a spear made out of her ki, threatening to pull them apart forcefully. With a slight gasp, he was quick to pull himself away from Jarvis, quickly making some distance between himself and the other cloud, but not straying too far away from Sakana. She seemed to be his safest bet for the time being and he wasn't going to stray too far from her... At least until she tried to send him to hell for whatever reason.
"Look, miss fish lady? Isn't there another way to do this cleansing thing?" He asked, now completely ignoring Jarvis in favor of listening to Sakana.

He wriggled and wallowed around roughly trying to get free. Letting out a light meep of surprise when the strange blue woman used her whip like energy on them both. It was strange and it send a jolt through his body... or rather cloud. IT was hard to explain but she was still able to give him a sensation that related to pain. This body and its sensation something he still wasn't quite used to yet. He just sorta was held for a moment still close to Koma tangled up and in the shocking state from the energy. Jarvis not exactly pleased with this predicament either. "Oh yea use your fucking whip on us! Cause that's totally how you make friends!" He'd mutter on his breath. Greatly to be off the machine but still miffed from the jolt that still felt for a moment to be running through his body.
Hitting the ground a moment after stopping a couple feet away as he seemed to hold naturally a sort of hover. Another odd thing about being a soul. It seemed you could simply hover. But it hardly took the focus or willpower like flight did. But instead it was perhaps as natural as walking to him. Jarvis at the moment still a little emotional about the whole ordeal trying to at least keep as much of a cool as he could. Although perhaps not doing as well of a job as he'd have liked too. "And you! You're dead too pipsqueak! What the hell did you do to fuck that up! You were doing fine and already on my tail this fast! Did you miss me or just trip and drop your big ass all the way to the ground?" He'd say with a sneer and jesting tone. But there was a hint of aggression and irritation as well. He'd be with a jeering snake like grin if he in fact still had a face. Instead just tried however to briefly ram into the side of the cloud boy. Sadly the forms they currently held they weren't even a challenge for a saibamen anymore. It was like to pillows bashing into each other and without the girls swinging them.
He'd do this once or twice before rushing over and around in front of the puff squeak. An looking up at the fish woman. His little blue body wiggling as he heard Koma talk to her. Thinking maybe it was true. She worked here... possibly. Wherever here really was. Still unsure to himself how this whole being dead thing worked. "Hey scaly!? Down here! What the puff said behind me. Anyway out of here besides that torture device? Get me out of her and back to the living world and I can pay you? I've got money in a few caches hidden on a little planet north of the PTO regions. Hell we can make a crew of it sweet cheeks. I could give you a real run for your money if you let me peel the rest of that armor of you! Common what do you say surely you got some way to get a body and some way out? Right? Right!" Wiggling violently now in place. Leaping into the air a few feet as well. Clearly wanting a exit as he frantically bargained. Oddly enough trying to seduce her as well in his words even if he was lacking certain proper tools. All while trying to stay in front of Koma and Assert himself forward.

Sakana tilted her head, her ears raising up a little as she listened to the two souls. While they were bantering, Sakana would frown and look down at the two, ears drooping. These two obviously were not all buddy-buddy. It seemed like they died around the same time and area too, something she assumed from their dialogue. When the blue soul tried to ram into the small one, Sakana would merely cause a small wall of spears to rise between the two, blunt ends facing up so neither would get hurt. Bending down a little, Sakana would speak to the two in an irritated tone. " Oh would you two cut it? You're both dead. And there's THIS thing. " She gestured to the cleanser as she spoke in an exaggerated tone. before looking back down to the two. " I don't think you can get much worse than that. "
After that, the smaller one spoke up, asking if there was an alternate cleansing method. Oh man, looks like Sakana would have to drop the bomb now. But before she could break it to them, the blue one, which was a little in her personal space, spoke- asking once again if there was an alternate method, bargaining a little with her. She'd visibly smile at the mention of the living world. She had only ever heard of it, but anything could me more exciting than her work up here! Then he.. uh.. flirted with her? Her pupils reduced to slits as she tilted her head, a confused expression making it's way across her face. "...Are you... " The Oni's ears pressed against her face as she muttered out the words. " Hitting on me? " Sakana shook her head as her pupils went back to normal while her ears fanned again. She still appeared a little flustered, but spoke in a much more calm tone now." ...Well you have good taste I guess?? "
" While I'd hate to break it to you... " She sighed, closing her one eye. The two could probably guess what was coming from her pained expression. It was painful giving news like this to souls. " This is the only way. And it SUCKS!! " Sakana roared at the end of her sentence. Indeed. The Cleanser was not a fun machine. But her expression would quickly change to a smile as she spoke. She always countered bad news with good news. Especially when there was the foreboding threat of the eventual cleansing. " But hey! You're heading to the upper worlds! Congrats on that! But it seems like you've obviously done some shitty things since you have to go through this thing. " Sakana spoke, a bead of sweat on her head. It could be worse, the two could have been sent to Hell instead of the cleanser.
But right now it could seem like this was the worse option... Crouching down, the fish creature spoke once more, trying to lighten the threat a little more as she spoke in a casual tune. By no means was the cleaning machine a pleasant ride, but it could be far worse. The thing could of had spikes in it! Or spiders!... Or spikey spiders... " Besides, you two don't even have the physical nerves to even feel pain. The thing only lasts for like twenty seconds as far as I'm aware. Just close your eyes- Wait... Right, you don't have those. But do the soul equivalent of that and it'll brush over and you'll never see the machine again after that. It won't do anything to your head or anything, unlike some of the stuff down in Hell. Because right now you have two options. You either go once through the cleanser thingy or rot in Hell for eternity. Both choices SUCK, so pick your poison. Trust me when I say staying in Hell would be like a never ending trip through the cleanser. I mean, I work down there."
If that didn't work, Sakana would give one last bit to her little monologue. Being a puff cloud was not the best, especially when your limbs were revoked. She could fix that for them sometime. " But... " She paused, a grin making its way across her face. " You do this and I may be able to get you two your arms and legs back, or maybe even return to life! The Otherworld has a few loopholes and exploits here and there. I know this place like the back of my hand. " Sakana had seen nearly every nook and cranny of Hell and Heaven. She toured souls around and stopped the malicious down in Hell. Of course she would know the layout after integrating at least ten thousand souls! Sakana's eyes widened a little when she spoke again. "But I AM COMING WITH if you go back to the mortal world! It's boring as shit up here! " She roared, clenching one of her fists. God, if she could hitch a ride to the living world... It would be like a dream come true.

Komatsu was getting so mad with Jarvis that the little cloud began to shake. How the hell was this jerk so arrogant!? And how did he ever even consider him a rival? He hated him... and that was a kind way of saying how he felt about the half bred saiyan. If Komatsu could kill him again just then, he would in a heartbeat.
He withheld any further comment as Jarvis continued to mock him for dying so soon after him when he didn't even know what had happened. He had died protecting his family, died because he couldn't of gone on living without the one person who acknowledged him and made him feel at home. He'd rather be dead than not have his family...
As Jarvis cut in front of him, the cloud rolled it's figurative eyes as he turned his back on Jarvis and Sakana, though didn't move away as he listened to what the fish lady had to say. So, the machine was his only choice if he wanted to go to the upper worlds... but what if they weren't up there? What if they had been sent to hell? Then he would of lost his chance to be with them again and would never get another one. He felt even more anger and rage wash over him at the thought of missing out... on the possibility of him screwing up again.
"Damn it... whatever... let's just get this over with. I"m not going to cry about it like this big baby." He said, speaking of Jarvis as the little soul cloud made it's way back towards the cleansing machine. He didn't bother going to wait in line, instead he hopped onto the conveyor belt, cutting in front of another soul who was complaining about having to go through the machine.
He knew that his little act would piss Jarvis off, as the little 13 year old showed more balls in the face of this torturous device. Komatsu would have smiled at the thought of it, but soon sucked in a breath as his little soul cloud passed through the first metallic box.
Everything around him was dark for only just a moment before small 'boxes' began to appear all around him. Each box would play out a part of the young boys life, showing him all the evil he had done in his life. He could see his younger self enjoying the torture he had inflicted on the animals of planet Natto, in another screen he could see himself killing another saiyan on planet Vegeta cruelly by slitting his throat just deep enough to cause him to die slowly. Another screen displayed his murder of the Earthling monk and the torture of an entire Earthling village... and another even showed the giant Oozaru killing a blue haired half bred saiyan.
The events that he was seeing were flashing about him as if on fast forward, playing out their entirety before being sucked away and disappearing as the black shadows he had seen come from the previous souls. When he came out of the first box, the little cloud shook as if trying to push the images out of his mind before he would soon pass through what looked like two large rolling pins. He would cringe as his soul cloud was caught between then, advancing until the two rolling pins began to squeeze any evil and sin that would remain within Komatsu. Again, the images began to play in his mind however this time, he could see the good he had done instead of the bad... the happier moments in his life which were so few... if he wasn't the one being cruel, he was the one being tortured, and so any happy memories he had were early in his life, before he was captured by the empire.
Finally, as Komatsu's flat soul cloud came sliding out of the end of the machine, it seemed like the soul would stay flat forever until "POP". His soul suddenly reinflated back to how he had been before passing through the machine. The aura around the soul however seemed a little brighter than it had before, and as Komatsu stepped off, he found himself not caring about Jarvis. He felt strangely... relaxed...
"Hey... fish lady? Can I ask you a favor? There's... two people that have been dead a while and I was wondering if maybe... you could find them..?" He asked, the tone of his voice having changed from the frustrated and pissed off tone it had been only a minute ago. When it came to Sakana's request of returning to the living world well, Komatsu wasn't so sure he would want to go back now... What did he have there but pain? At least here he might have a little more...
He'd skit to a halt after a moment in his attempt to rush at the other spirits soul. The strange blue spears summoning up and forming a lightly fearsome wall between the two. Jarvis wriggling in place for a moment. An in a sense cleared the throat he didn't have. These creatures up here definitely had quite a few tricks up their sleeves. He didn't like it and that he was basically in a element he know so little if anything about. "None of it sounds good to be honest! Machine or no machine. I'd rather be back where I want to be and have my real god damn body back!" His light toned voice would say. Always failing to sound direct when he'd try to assert himself. This body even depriving him of his true voice in a sense. Altered by a strange cloud high pitched overlay.
Jarvis heard the tone and did look back briefly to see the boy rush through the machine on his own. Jarvis just giving a jeer to the idea. Fool could be prideful for it all he wanted. Jarvis never accepted when anyone tried to stand above him. He didn't let empires stand on him in real life and he sure as hell wasn't gonna let these wanna be gods do it either. Even if they were... Heh good to look at so far. Taking back in the girls view when he turned back. But he seemed to calm hearing Komatsu's new tone when he returned. Jarvis being a man who noticed small details in times of importance as well noticed the lightness to his aura. His tone as he considered the dark shadows shoved from the soul and many others moments ago. The idea of conformity sickened him as he thought of this more and more. His sins may have been seen as sins to these people but...
"I have great taste yes. In all things I want I know exactly whats the best. Comes from experience dove." Being a little coy as to experience at what and what exactly he all knew of the best for. "So the lass wants to escape home? Escape to the real world? Sick of pretending to be gods are we?" He'd say with a chuckle breaking from his lips. "Tell you what... I've been around most galaxies. Unlike the little puff behind me. An I know how to do things to you might find interesting. Of course I mean... the bigger the scratch I get for your back? Its only fair you scratch just as a big a itch as mine right?" It slowly came out of him as pure as if he was still alive.
That tone and way of speaking that said as if. Don't worry we can work all this out. Everything gonna be fine and perfect if you only do exactly as I say. "Just getting to the real world might not be good enough. I mean don't you also want to be able to move freely? Laws are different there you know. Hell I was wanted in most known laws in space it was crazy. But know the right people and grease a few wheels and I've learned the right places to get papers. People would just think your some alien or PTO race." Trying to make it sound like she might need some further aid in the real world. Better playing up his own value. He wasn't ever in favor of being bottom dog in any deal. "We travel together and with a little time I could most likely wherever we come out get you what you need. I mean do you want a real life down there or just to be looked at like some crazy woman claiming to be from some weird version of heaven? OR hell in your case?" He'd jerk his shoulder towards the machine behind him. Or what would substitute for a shoulder.
"Is there really no way to get by that? I might not exactly believe you it doesn't change anything. I am who I am an I don't really trust this fully..." Shivering implying possible boon but he knew this was likely a non negotiable thing. "IF you can't. How about we strike a better bargain. I get you papers back in the living realm. An even make sure we help sneak you out with us when we find a way to break out of this prison." Referring to even heaven as a prison. A boring place where he would be deprived he felt from most the excitements of life he felt were what were the essence of living and fun. He'd want the rest of years he felt he should have had before resting here. "All I want for my secrecy and aid to you is as you said a body, A ticket out of here, An perhaps you could even show me a little gratitude personally when I get this body back. Hell could be a mutual reward if ya think about it. As you said I have good taste. I'm sure you have your own ways to see what the souls once looked like." Bargaining to ensure a alliance if possible. Jarvis was many things but except in the most rarest of circumstances you could always count on his word in a deal. If a smuggler didn't keep his word then he'd have no contacts nor allies of any kind after all. "What do you say? Small price right? Everyone gets to go to the good places they want soon and we even get a little prereward here in the after life? I'm sure you could use a little fun anyway given how... tame your male friends look up here." If she had any kind of magic like the pre Oni girl who might be watching in the future. It wouldn't be hard to have seen his prior looks that would return in time. Or know of his rather colorful past and a list of sins that went on that while many he wished to forget they were still his. An Jarvis was a man that didn't run from who he was.

Well, it seemed like the child had more guts than the adult. The smaller soul had willingly gone into the cleanser as Sakana has a mental celebration in her head. Mission accomplished!... Kind of. There still was the blue one to get in the machine. But that bridge would be crossed later. She folded her arms, waiting several seconds before the kid popped out the other side of the machine, good as new. Seeming to be much calmer than before, the child asked for her to track down two souls that have been dead for awhile. Did he already have friends or family up here? Nonetheless, the kid went through the cleanser, so she might as well give him this reward. " Yeah, sure. It's only fair I give you SOMETHING for going through that hell of a machine! You've got more balls than this scaredy-soul, kid." Sakana spoke with a smile, her expression turning into a smug one when she poked at the blue soul for still chickening out on the cleanser while a little kid did. But she did give the kid some praise. It wasn't everyday someone went into the cleanser willingly, let alone a child. She was legitimately impressed. " But I'm gonna need their full names, though. 'Cause there's literally a quintillion people up here. " There were plenty of Joes and Bobs up here. She'd probably have to get into Yemma's vast array of oversized papers to locate whoever the kid wanted to meet. " But anywho, name's Sakana. " She smiled once more, cocking her head to the side. Introductions were far overdue.
Before she could do anything else, the blue soul, whom hadn't yet gone in the machine, spoke to her once more. Her eyes dilated a little as she stared down at the soul. The flirting was just strange earlier, coming from the small puff cloud, but now she was just moderately confused. Jeez, how old was this guy even? Sakana herself was in her late thirties. It was difficult to tell age when someone was a puff cloud of some kind. " Y'know, I get the inkling that you think you're the head honcho around here. " Sakana raised a brow, her expression now solemn as she narrowed her one eye. It was odd hearing this from a small cloud of some kind. But the soul's voice had changed, presumably to that of his original form. Sakana raised a brow again, but pushed it aside. She wanted to get some kind of fun for once in her life. He did have a fair point- she'd probably be seen as some kind of alien- or whatever a PTO was. She had researched into the living world a little recently in her preparations to set off. Seemed like she still had more to learn. But much like the soul in front of her, Sakana never enjoyed being at the bottom of something. " ...Touche." Sakana listened to the small blue soul a little more, nodding at the mention of the living world. She then narrowed her eyes a little as the soul seemed to poke at her a little, but her ears flew up and her eyes dilated when she realized exactly what he was implying " First of all- Excuse me, WHAT??? Secondly, let's NOT get too over our heads here, soul. I don't work like THAT. I will still assist you in getting your bodies back and possibly back to the living realm. Just do not expect me to be someone else's lap dog. " She growled, ears pressed against her head as the fish creature bared her teeth as she spoke. Her eye inverted color for a moment, turning black with a white pupil. If anyone was the boss, it was her. " As stated before, you are new to the Otherworld. I know this place and all of its exploits. If anyone is to take the wheel of this escape plan, I will be sailing the ship for now. " She spoke in a calmer tone, but still had some hostility. It was rare for her to ever lose her head over something. Rage was an uncommon emotion, along with excitement. The living world could give her that thrill she had been waiting for, but she wasn't so fond of the blue soul's "terms." " Look. I will get you your bodies back and try to open a rift to the living world at some point. That is what I do for you. In return, I'll come along also to the living world. Capiche? " She paused, narrowing her eye. The joking and sarcastic side of her was gone. She was just a little peeved now. " You have to go through the cleanser or Hell. There is no other option besides forcing me to DROP KICK you to either of them. " Sakana spoke, tapping her foot on the ground. A smirk crossed her face as she spoke once again, raising her head up. " Besides, why would I do something like that with someone who has less balls than the kid over here?! " She spoke smugly, arms folded as she looked to the kid to see if he might get in on this. She and the small blue soul had been going at this for a little while now, she almost forgot about the kid. She'd give him as much of a wink as she could with one eye, turning back to the blue soul. Taunting was the name of the game now.

"Heh, well I already knew that much... believe it or not this idiot ran scared from a 13 year old... well, 14 now.. technically." Komatsu piped up when Sakana began to sing his praises... well okay she wasn't exactly singing them but he would gladly take the compliment. Right now he just felt like Jarvis was being a big baby... trying to make all kinds of deals, most he didn't even understand, all to avoid going through the machine. It had been an awful experience, having all of your sins play out before your eyes like some sort of movie reel. However, when the images had been pulled away he felt... better? It was strange... the machine didn't change him.. not one little bit but it felt like.. what he had done was a lot easier to live with... or stay dead with. All that negative energy that had been pent up inside of him was gone, and the boy felt like he hadn't felt in a long time... since the days that he lived with his parents.
"My name is Komatsu... and Ms Sakana... the two people that I'm looking for are my parents. Natto and Tomoroko, they used to be the leaders of the Saiyan Alliance... if you know what that is... They died 3 years ago during the war against planet Vegeta. And uhm... I can't offer anything like Jarvis did but... if I do end up being able to get back to the living world... I can at least offer you a place to stay when you need it. I don't think the alliance would mind terribly having you around. But uhm... I'm not really sure I want to go back to be honest..." Komatsu had spoken about his parents with a mild sense of excitement creeping into the little soul's voice. As strange as it was, he was going to get to see his parents again (well, hopefully!)! He wouldn't let that opportunity pass him... if they were in hell after-all, he would make sure to wreak enough havoc in heaven to be sent down to hell...
And that brought up another issue... he needed his body. How would they ever know it was him without one? He'd need Sakana's help again for that, and that brought him to a silent question. Why was she offering to help either of them out? They were just two souls among how many billions that were here? He didn't doubt a lot of other souls had requests such as his own... so why were they so special?
He seethed in anger briefly in his still helpless form. He contemplated just how strong this creature was possibly. What getting his body back might mean for him in comparison. He knew he had strength but he didn't know exactly how strong these beings were down here. There were allot of them most the time or at least a decent amount it seemed when it came to herding the spirits like cattle. Perhaps they were a more a power in numbers type people. That or tactics. He'd consider this as he just gave a low angered stare as much as a spirit could. "Careful now... Going into a new dimention with no friends in the future. Well... It'd be a shame if you got in out of your head and ended back up in circumstances more like my own. A fish out of water of sorts." Putting in the little joke purposely. Some of his tone still implying his work this out kinda tone. But a bit of the giving side had left him. He didn't forget things like this easily. "An I only moved from you kid to the bigger fight... Cause encase you forgot Even when I was weighted you could barely keep up. It took that ape for you to even be a challenge for me even when I was weighted down. Wonder if your brother will be joining us soon as well?" Throwing that little comment towards him. Perhaps reminding the kid there was always a chance his brother was still in danger on earth. A chance he too would possibly fall and this boy might never know if the soul fell downward into the depths of hell.
Displeased as he was he considered other paths. If it was true one could open a path to the living realm. others could too in a sense. That meant escape was possible in one form or another. An if it was possible... Did he really need these two? "But as well... If you can get us out? Can't others as well? Or would they only be angry to hear you talking of escape? Strange place this is..." The other half of a smugglers tone in his voice now. A warning tone in his voice. He'd turn and grimace before going through the machine. Caring little for what passed him and the things he saw. He wouldn't forget any of it no matter what the machine washed away. An before long it was completed. An he could see not far off the doorway forward. The way to the true next world.
"Something tells me... I might have more then just you as a option here." Recalling the girl who watched them earlier briefly. Jarvis could spot things in small details. It was a unknown entity but if he tried hard enough he was sure he could find a way to free himself from this world. An if this warrior girl wanted a ally. He clearly wanted a little more pull to keep him as a partner. Jarvis wasn't gonna be low man. An once he got his body... He could see if he could simply... Perhaps force from one of the others his escape. He wasn't a bad man persay. But he also wasn't gonna stay in any prison when escape was possible.
